Normally I end up stealing the prototype from somewhere and putting it together myself, but this time around Shuu-chan from the planning department came by to do it for me!

So today I’ll be playing with this lovely figure… although she seems a bit fragile, so I’m going to have to be super careful!

The sculpting and painting is really incredible!

From Guilty Crown:

Nendoroid Inori Yuzuriha!

From the Fuji TV noitaminA block series, ‘Guilty Crown’ comes a figure of the Undertaker’s member, singer and heroine of the series, Inori Yuzuriha! She is posed wearing the lovely red and orange outfit from the series!

Plus Fyu-Neru, the little robotic helper is also included!
He has a whole bunch of fun gimmicks, which I’ll introduce later!!

This is how she looks from the back!

There is so much lovely gradient paint work on her!! Just look at her beautiful pink hair… and that outfit is my personal favorite highlight. The red to orange gradient is simply a work of art!

Plus the hips have stamp painting done on them!! So much fine little detail!!

The ‘Cat’s Cradle’ string scene!

The shoulder and sleeve are separate parts allowing you to switch the shoulders out and place her arms out in front of her like this. You can then make use of the string parrts and special hand parts to recreate this scene that will leave a deep impression on anyone who has watched the series!

Not to mention… that expression is to die for!
Gazing innocently ahead with her cute little mouth open!!! ･ﾟ･（ﾉД`）･ﾟ･｡

A serious combat face and two guns!

Now it looks like Inori is ready to fight! She comes with extra parts that let her pose her with her arms crossed like this while holding her guns.

These arm parts are connected at the shoulder and all together make up a single piece. (In other words, the sleeves and shoulder won’t be detachable on these parts… unless something changes during production!)

The difference between her cute self and this pose is incredible!!

Closed eyes and void effect parts!

I actually really like these effect parts, although the one problem about effect parts is that they often look a little bit too 2D on the figure…

It also looks great from the side!

No matter what the angle, she still looks absolutely outstanding! The effect parts are inserted into her body in order to create this pose.

To add a little more info to the parts…

・ The effect parts have a lovely clear gradient!
・ The parts are sculpted as if the void was being pulled out from her!

They are incredibly detailed for extra parts!!

The adorable Fyu-Neru!

This is how it looks from the back! We took a look at him during the WonHobby live broadcast as well, where we saw that it was sculpted using 3D data – very intricate 3D data!

The eyes can rotate around for different expressions!!

Plus…!!!

The front cover opens up!
 
Inside you can see a capsule! It’s just too much! You can make it look angry, happy or exhausted just with those eyes, and then still choose to display it opened up or leave it closed. There are so many options!

The new GSC employees have arrived! (･∀･)ﾉ

From here on out the newcomers will go through a week of training, and then be joining the rest of us in the offices! I look forward to working with them!

A whole lot of PCs are being set up for them here…

From ‘Nichijou’:

Nendoroid Nano Shinonome!

From the popular anime that is now showing on NHK Educational TV, ‘Nichijou’ comes a Nendoroid of Nano Shinonome, the robot high-school student who lives in the Shinonome Laboratory!

Those shiny, innocent eyes are perfect for Nano! Plus she comes with a load of optional parts for fans to enjoy! We’ll be taking a look at them all shortly…

This is how she looks from the back!

Nano’s most noticeable feature – the wind-up key!

Of course it can also be removed, so you can choose whether to display her with or without it, depending on what you prefer!

A smiling face, bent arm and shark hand!

Nano includes some interesting options such as this shark hand! Nano was built by Hakase who loves sharks which explains this particular part.

This of course allows you to recreate the popular rock-paper-scissors scene from the series! Plus, the other hand parts included allow you to make rock, paper and scissors poses as well! 😛

A crying face and machine-gun hand!

The worried crying face is so cute! I can understand why Hakase is always so keen to tease her!

Plus we have the second adapter hand part – a machine gun, as well as a bent leg part which allows for a bit of a dynamic pose!

Kneeling parts and a roll cake hand!

Kneeling pose and a chikuwa hand!

For those who don’t know, a chikuwa is a kind of fish sausage. I have to admit the first time I saw these two parts I was really dumbfounded… I’m pretty sure I’ll never again have the chance to say a figure comes with chikuwa and roll cake hand parts. 😛

By the way, you can also remove the arm part at the shoulder, so you could instead connect the strange hand parts directly onto the shoulder.

Let’s try the wind-up key on Miku!

The wind-up key will connect to any Nendoroids that make use of an arm-type base that connects to the back! Snow Miku’s expression seems so appropriate here! It also means your figures will depend on you more than ever before…

“I’ve got to turn the key for her! If I’m not here, she would be no more!!”
At least, that’s how I see it, I hope everyone can see from my point of view 😛

Nendo Hakase is also on her way!!

I decided to pose them together! Even though Hakase is just an illustration at the moment! 😛

They really do look good together though, and I’m sure the final Nendoroid of Hakase will look perfect displayed with Nendoroid Nano!

It’s impossible to find prototypes after events…!

It’s not uncommon to have trouble finding prototypes after an event… are they actually on the shelves for prototypes, sitting on someone’s desk or with the production team…? 😛

But I think I’ve found something on Shuu-chan’s desk!

Time to take it back to my own desk and have some fun!

From ‘Listen to Me, Girls, I Am Your Father!’:

Nendoroid Miu Takanashi!

She is from the popular anime series, “Listen to Me, Girls, I Am Your Father!’, also known as ‘Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai!’ in Japanese. Miu is the second eldest of the three sisters in the series.

This is how she looks from the back!

The little pompoms at the end of the pink ribbons are very cute in Nendoroid form! The hair is also fitted with Nendoroid joints for more unique poses, and the tips of her hair even feature a lovely darker gradient.

She comes with three expressions!

First up is this standard face, suitable for anything!

For those who aren’t sure what expression to use for their poses – there is nothing simpler than using a standard smiling expression like this one! She also comes with a bent left arm and a hand with a pointing finger for a pose like this.

A devilish smile while lifting her skirt!

Miu definitely has a more mature mindset than most girls her age, and these extra parts let you pose her showing off that side of her personality. A bent right arm, and pinching hand to hold up her skirt. What a naughty little angel!

Her polka-dot suit case!

This is the suitcase she uses whenever she goes to stay over at Yuuta’s house! She also comes with a hand that lets her hold it behind her like this, as if she was pulling it along!

A smiling face and long-sleeved T-shirt!

This expression really makes her look really exited, and the long-sleeved T-shirt from the original novel is also included – made down to the smallest of details to make sure fans won’t be dissappointed.

The prototype also allows the suitcase to be opened and closed – a very nice extra, but whether or not it’ll make it to the final version is still undetermined.

Welcome back! It’s been awhile since the last blog!

Today we’ll be taking a look at this lovely Nendoroid!

From the anime series of Persona 4:

Nendoroid Yukiko Amagi!

Yukiko is the successor of her family’s inn, Amagiya. She is smart, elegant and very well behaved which makes her the attention of all boys at her school. The Nendoroid really captures her character very nicely, comes with a load of optional parts and allows you to pose her in all sorts of ways from the series!

A lovely smiling face!

Nendoroid Yukiko comes with a multitude of extra arms parts!! In this photo you can see the bent right arm and a left arm placed behind her back.

Her thighs are fitted with Nendoroid joints, allowing for a cute pose like this one… I’m sure many will have already noticed, but this is in fact…

Next up is a laughing face!

She really looks like she just burst into laughter! The arm part on her stomach, and another placed at her mouth really bring the pose together beautifully! She looks so happy I can’t help but smile myself!

Glasses and a folding fan!

Parts that just have to be included with a Persona 4 figure, – as they allow you to pose her summoning her Persona!

The photo above uses the gruff expression, but you can use a different expression for a completely different feel!

This pose uses two more arm parts! A special right hand to hold the fan, and a left arm posed ready for combat! All the arm parts also separate at the hands, so you can place the hand for holding the fan on any other arm parts as well!

The disguise glasses from episode 4!

Yay! I knew these would be included!!

The other day on a live broadcast, I promised I’d try the glasses on another Nendoroid character, so here we go! 😛

They fit perfectly!
 
Just think of all the wonderful possibilities with these glasses! It’s so fun to try them out on other Nendoroids!!

Also, Nendoroid Yune releases on the 22nd March!!

The print on the kimono and the umbrella are absolutely stunning! I played around with her earlier today and was really impressed!

Yukiko tries on the kimono!

This lets you really pose her as the successor to her family’s Japanese inn! It’s a bit more colorful than her normal kimono, but still suits her so well!!

“Just give me 30 minutes!!”

Is a conversation I have with the production team, or manufacturing team fairly often… luckily everyone is always super friendly and says I can use it quickly first… I’m quite glad for that, because if they said ‘Be quick, dammit!’ I’d probably end up with very blurry pictures. 😛

Today we’ll be taking a look at this Nendoroid:

Nendoroid Kokoro Akechi!

She is the super genius that attends Harvard university, and is a part of the mystery investigation team, ‘Genius 4’ (also known as G4).

She will be included with the PSP game,
‘Tantei Opera Milky Holmes 2’! (･∀･)ﾉ

Those who are watching the anime series will have seen the Bushiroad commercial that features the Kokoro Nendoroid!

Above you could see her smiling face, but she also has:

An upset face and golden mask!

Even when she is upset, she is still super cute! Plus her weapon, the golden mask, is also included! The mask looks incredibly realistic too… I was rather impressed. The bent arms can be rotated at the shoulders to pose her with her hands on her hips!

A snapped face and folded arms!

Oooh! What a wonderful choice of expression! This really shows off Kokoro’s real personality! 😛 I also somehow have this strange urge to put my finger in her mouth…

She is so cute that you just can’t help but tease her – it only makes her cuter… and she was already so cute to begin with!

A Segway and patrol light!

This extra that may make you wonder if it’s not rather from the anime…

This allows you to recreate the scene in the first season’s opening theme!

She also comes with hands to hold onto the handlebars! I wonder if other characters could ride the Segway as well…?

Elly decides to give it a go!

If you just move Kokoro’s hand parts onto Elly, she can ride on it just fine! Plus as you can see, the expressions are fully exchangeable! (Assuming there are no changes in production…)

The snapped expression has no eye color, so it’s very easy to stick onto other characters without looking too strange! Plus it’s just so cute!

Now that WonFes is over, I keep finding treasures at all the project leader’s desks!

Before WonFes I was always running between the planning department, production department and manufacturing department, so it was really hard to find anything to play with!

Now it’s much easier… although I need to make sure I don’t bump into Tori Bird on the way back to my seat… I wouldn’t want him to steal it back! 😛

Today we’ll be taking a look at this Nendoroid set!

From Sakura Wars:
Nendoroid Sakura Shinguji & Koubu Set!

A special commemoration product to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Sakura Wars series! A Nendoroid of Sakura Shinguji along with a cute Nendoroid of the Kougu she rides in! You can display them together, or completely separately – it’s up to you!

This is how they look from the back!

Sakura’s lovely ponytail looks absolutely wonderful, and is fitted with a joint so you can pose it blowing up in the wind as seen in many illustrations from the series. The huge red ribbon is also beautifully sculpted, and adds some volume to the figure! Plus don’t forget to look at the detail on the Koubu!!

Nendoroid Sakura Shinguji!

She comes with a smiling face and an angry face!

She also comes with her father’s sword, Reiken-Arataka, which you can use together with the included scabbard to recreate the pose seen on the cover of the PS2 game!

Nendoroid Koubu Sakura!

The arms and legs are fitted with Nendoroid joints!
The feet are huge and really stand out nicely when you place it in a pose like this! Plus it’s so easy to pose that I wasn’t even afraid to make this pose on the prototype! 😛

You can even place Sakura’s sword in the Koubu’s hands!

Sakura can even ride inside!

The Koubu’s top hatch can be opened up, and Sakura can get inside! Incredible!! You simply need to remove Sakura’s lower body part, and then connect her upper body inside the Koubu instead.

I’ll be trying that shortly! 😛

Even as one, the figures are perfectly balanced!

Nendoroids focus on looking cute more than anything else, and these two achieve that perfectly while still looking great both separately and together like this! You can really see a lot of careful planning went into these two Nendoroids!

Yay! It worked!!

Although, that doesn’t mean that all characters will be able to ride it – but most with a similar inward connector should be able to.

Certain Nendoroids like Miku instead have an outward connector on the upper body, which means they won’t be able to ride the Koubu perfectly – but you can still balance them inside it quite easily! (They just end up a little bit wobbly…)

Homu Homu from the Taisho Period!

She has long, black hair just like Sakura, so if you exchange the heads it suits very well! Plus it looks really cute! The ribbon is connected with double-sided tape in this photo. ^^

Is that another new one?!

Gundams seem to appear more and more with other figures on this blog… but I think this is a different one yet again! Juat how many Gundams does Oda-P keep at home…? I kind of want to see for myself! 😛

But even more interesting to me is the Nendo in front!

From Trails in the Sky: THE ANIMATION:

Nendoroid Estelle Bright!

From the popular game series that has also become an OVA, ‘Trails in the Sky: THE ANIMATION’, comes a Nendoroid of the young heroine Estelle Bright, dressed in the outfit from the anime version of the series!

Estelle is also available as a Nendoroid Petite!

She is a part of the Nendoroid Petite: Falcom Heroine Set! The set is currently up for preorder! I wanted to display her together with the new prototype and compare the two… but unfortunately she was off in China…

Although I’m certain that the two Estelles would look wonderful displayed together!

Her twin-tails are of course fully posable! You can also see the detail on her outfit is incredible for her size, it looks just like the original! I’m sure it’ll be quite a pain for the production team to deal with! 😛

She comes with an angry face!

Estelle is well known for her expertise with the rod, and her weapon is taller than her! She can hold it in a single hand, or in both hands by making use of a bent arm. Plus that angry expression is so adorable, I think I’d lose the fight just by looking at her!

Her Orbment is also included!

The Orbments are mystical crystals made from quartz that bring out various abilities! This allows you to recreate the scene where she activates her abilities! A definite bonus for any fans of the series! The Orbment even has the exact same pattern as the one from the series!!

A depressed face and harmonica!

Normally Estelle is a super energetic and positive character but sometimes everyone has to feel a little down like this…

This allows you to recreate the touching scene where she plays her step-bother, Joshua’s harmonica!

The fishing mini-game!

The figure is actually officially a Nendoroid based on the OVA, but even so it lets you recreate the fishing scene from the game, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. She also comes with a set of hands to hold it out in front of her!

The table tennis table has been cleaned up!

The state of table shows the proximity to an event. 😛

They say that the state of one’s desk is the state of one’s mind, and I think whoever said that first was really clever… it’s very true! Although my mind is pretty cluttered all the time, so I guess that means I should just never clean up my desk… right? 😛

Anyway, today we’ll be looking at this Nendoroid!

Max Factory’s:

Nendoroid Aoi Yamada!

From the popular anime series ‘WORKING!’ comes the third Nendoroid from the series, Aoi Yamada! She’s cutely dressed up in her Wagnaria uniform, even though she almost definitely won’t be helping out around the restaurant at all.

The sculptor behind her is once again, Yukiwo Ageta!
Who has been responsible for all of the Nendoroids from WORKING!! so far, and as you can see, she has come out super cute, just like the last two Nendoroids in the series!

This is how she looks from the back!

The stand she makes use of the the arm-type that connects into her back. She also comes with two different cases – both an M-shaped on that allows her to stand on the ground around the base, and a stand for her to actually stand on top of.

The main reason for this is to work nicely with the Wagnaria Playset from Phat! Company. It feels a lot more natural when she is standing on the floor in the playset, rather than on a base.

Let’s take a look at her expressions…

An astonished expression!

Combined with the included bent arm and bent leg, you can make a really lively pose like this! The bent leg can be used on either the left or right, whichever you need for your pose!

Yamada, the queen of breaking things!

Really! Yamada is just too cute!

A plate with hands to hold it, and a broken plate are all included!

She also comes with a… ceiling part!

The middle bit opens up and lets you place Yamada inside! Let’s give it a go…

There we go!! (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)=3

You can attach the ceiling to Phat! Company’s Wagnaria set for the complete effect! It looks great!!

Using the upside-down hair and the special hands holding onto the edges of the ceiling, you can recreate the scene from the opening (and in the actual show) when Yamada sticks her head out of the ceiling.

But you don’t need the Wagnaria Set!

You can make use of the long arm to hold her up much higher and still pose her hanging from the ceiling! The back of the hair doesn’t have a hole – it is held up using a magnet! It holds it very securely!

But if she isn’t upside-down…

It kind of makes it look like she is being blown away by something, or just been surprised by something… you could definitely use it for something else! It’s always great to have unique parts like this to play around with!
