Albedo (OVERLORD)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale figure…

From the popular dark fantasy series ‘OVERLORD’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the Great Tomb of Nazarick’s Floor Guardians Overseer and top ranking NPC in Nazarick – Albedo! The figure is based on an illustration by character designer so-bin that was seen in the ending theme of the anime series.

The figure captures Albedo’s peerless beauty in a dainty yet wistful pose. Her black wings are amazingly intricate with each and every feather sculpted separately for impressive detail. Be sure to add the “Pure-White Devil” to your collection and enjoy her beauty by your side whenever you wish!

From the 25th February 2017, the movie edition of the series has been showing in Japan making OVERLORD even more well known than ever before, and from that series comes a stunning figure of the beauty with no equal – Albedo!

Her painted prototype was revealed at Wonder Festival on the 19th of February, and now she is already up for preorder!

Just look at those extravagant wings spreading out behind her!

The figure is based on an illustration of Albedo by character designer so-bin, and while it captures the wistful, fleeting feeling from the original illustration it is also simply such an amazing figure to look at!

As you may have noticed, the tips at the end of her hair slowly lead to a transparent gradient which bring out that transient feeling even more!

The paint is one thing, but the sculpt is also stunning! The way the light shines off it making it look so silky and shiny is just perfect! ♡

This is actually the 3rd figure GSC has released from OVERLORD!

But let’s get back to Albedo!★

The two points I really want to focus on are her wings and the faithful representation of her body! (∩・∀・)∩

◆ Wings ◆

These beautiful black wings sprouting from her hips… each and every one of the feathers has been carefully sculpted separately for a stunning appearance! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

You can see certain feathers have been sculpted differently from the others and even though they are made from a hard plastic they look like would really feel all soft and feathery!

Also note the detail on the inner side! ★

◆ Physical Representation ◆

Just look at that mouth! I don’t think I need to say anymore!!

The lovely shape of the tiny teeth, the soft, moist looking tongue and those glossy lips… the mouth alone brings out such a sensual atmosphere to the figure!ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ

In addition to the mouth we have that sexy curves that forms between her armpits and bosom! Plus the texture on those horns look so incredible… the face is just packed with details.

Another section that really stands out in my eyes…

Look at the gentle changes in color and unevenness around her belly button! The sculpt and paintwork really gives you a feel for the tightness and of her outfit as well as how thin the material is!

The frilly skirt also has the creases around the bottom very intricately sculpted onto the design, and even the inside areas that you can’t normally see from the front are beautifully sculpted! ♥

While the figure is quite a simple standing pose, the elaborate sculpting really makes her stand out in a very special way! There is just so much to enjoy!! Be sure to add the unrivaled beauty to your collection!

Nendoroid Petite: GIRLS und PANZER 02!

From the popular anime film ‘GIRLS und PANZER der Film’ comes a selection of cute Nendoroid Petite figures to join the collection! This time around the line-up includes Alice Shimada, Anzu Kadotani, Erika Itsumi, Kinuyo Nishi and Mika! There is also one secret character to look forward to! Collect all the girls as they strive to master the Way of the Tank!

Nendoroid Petites have a ball joint in the neck and the arms are attached with simple joints allowing for simple movements that allow for little changes in nuance to better match your display! They are not quite as posable as normal Nendoroids, but they can be moved around more than you’d expect! ♪

While they may be small, careful attention is given to bring out their characters as much as possible!

Nendoroid Izuminokami Kanesada (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at ORANGE ROUGE‘s…
Nendoroid Izuminokami Kanesada!!

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the awesome and powerful sword Izuminokami Kanesada! He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a combat expression as well as a smiling expression that fits many of his lines from the game!

His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing you to recreate various scenes from the game!! Be sure to add him to your collection together with Nendoroid Horikawa Kunihiro who will be available for preorder at the same time!

“I am Izuminokami Kanesada! I am awesome, powerful and recently one of the most popular swords!”

The sword said to be used by Hijikata Toshizou, the vice-commander of Shinsengumi! Izuminokami Kanesada is joining the Nendoroids!! This is the sixth uchigatana to join the Nendoroid Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- series! The alternating white-blue horizontal stripes on his haori jacket show his association with the Shinsengumi, and also contrasts so nicely with the deep red kimono he is wearing!

▲Such lovely lustrous hair!!

From the front his hair already looks magnificent, but from the back you can see all the way down to the tips which really show off just how much volume his hair has!! The red string that ties to two sides together in the middle has also been faithfully included, giving a little touch of cuteness to the manly Izuminokami! (*´ω｀*)

▲The earrings, back of his hand and the armor around his hips!

He has rather fancy earrings and although they are tiny in Nendoroid size that have been carefully sculpted to look just as they do in his original designs! The covers on the back of his hand and the various shapes and patterns on the tassets and area around his hips are also amazingly intricate!

This really is challenging the limits of the amount of detail we can put onto Nendoroids! Such tiny little details are often omitted from the Nendoroid designs, but Izuminokami is too awesome to not include as much as possible!!

▲This allows for more dynamic poses!

Normally the haori sticks directly to the shape of his body, but this movement allows you to pose him with it fluttering around him which can make for some really epic poses that suit an epic character! The kanji on the back of the hoari reads ‘Truth’ – a symbol of the shinsengumi!

His combat expression has gritted teeth and one eye shut! He looks to be having quite a rough battle!

Shiki Ichinose: Mystic Elixir Ver. (THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS)

I hope everyone had an enjoyable WonFes! I have been been suffering from a cold ever since the event ended… someone get me an elixir! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe) from the Corporate Planning Division here!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Shiki Ichinose: Mystic Elixir Ver.!

From the idol production game ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Shiki Ichinose! The figure is based on her ‘Mystic Elixir’ outfit giving her a bold, mysterious and sexy appearance as she appears on stage for her fans.

The jewels that adorn her outfit and the various bottles of perfume have all been carefully sculpted in lovely detail creating a high quality figure that is a faithful rendition of the original illustration! The base she sits upon is made in the image of the status menu from the game, bringing out the atmosphere of the game even more for fans to enjoy in their collection!

Apologies for the long wait, Producers!

Shiki was shown as an unpainted prototype last year at WonFes, and finally had her painted prototype revealed at this year’s first WonFes!! Now she is about to go up for preorder!! Yay!!

Let’s start with a full body shot! ♪

The base made it’s first appearance at WonFes! The design is based on the status menu from the game!

▲ From the back the movement of her hair and outfit look so smooth and pleasing to the eyes I’ll take a closer look at this a little later! (｀・ω・´)

The mysterious yet stunning appearance matches the name of her outfit so perfectly!

Anyway, let’s take a look at some of the more intricate details, shall we?

Point #1:
Fingers

It’s not often I think fingers are the crux of a figure, but they are just so incredible on this figure! The index finger of her left hand pulling the sock really brings the figure to life – it looks so realistic!! The movement of the finger itself is one thing, but the creases that form in the sock just complete it so nicely!!

Point 2:
Accessories

The amazing details on the accessories really make Shiki shine! They are just so amazingly intricate!

▲ The little jewel in the center of her already detailed ribbons!

▲ The crystals of her necklace look as if they could be real! The metallic appearance of her chain has also been included… and just look at the frills around her chest!

▲ The little perfume bottle in her hand… so small and yet so impressive!

▲ Those high heels! The shiny appearance, ribbons and jewels… wow!

▲The pattern along the bottom of her white cape parts looks lovely, as well as the flow of the material!

Point #3:
Hair Sculpt

From the front you can tell the movement of her hair has been sculpted fantastically…

But no matter what angle you choose to look from it still has such a rich, lively appearance that looks so beautiful!

Suwabe Point #1:
Stomach

Just look at that belly button! And those shadows! Those shadows really make it seem like Ichinose really is right there with you! They just look so realistic!

Plus, I forgot to mention it during the accessory part above, but look at the little bottles along her hips as well as the patterns on her outfit!! To think that this figure will reach producers all over the world makes me realize just how amazing it is to ‘create’ something!

Back

Overall the figure already shows off a lot of skin, but that’s exactly why peeking through the little gap between her hair to see the bare back is all the more thrilling! You’ll get to see her from this angle and many more if you choose to add her to your collection!

Nendoroid Victor Nikiforov (YURI!!! on ICE)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Victor Nikiforov!

From the popular anime series ‘YURI!!! on ICE’ comes a Nendoroid of the living legend of the figure skating world – Victor Nikiforov! He comes with three face plates including a gentle standard expression, a playful winking expression as well a smiling expression with a heart-shaped mouth!

Optional parts include a gold medal as well as bouquet parts to display him as the top figure skater in the world, and his beloved pet poodle Makkachin is also included to display beside him!! Be sure to display him with the previously announced Nendoroid Yuri Katsuki! Be sure to enjoy the prodigy figure skater in your Nendoroid collection!

“I won’t hold back, but that is just a part of my love.”

From the anime series that quickly gained popularity around the world, “YURI!!! on ICE” comes a Nendoroid of the charismatic ice skater who prides himself in on being able to surprise people, Victor Nikiforov! His lovely grey hair, transparent blue eyes and overall mature air have all been captured nicely on the Nendoroid!

His prototype was revealed at WonFes last weekend, so I don’t think anyone expected him to become painted and available for preorder so soon!

This is already the second Nendoroid from YURI!!! on ICE! ☆

If we take a look from the back you can see the lovely gentle flow of his hair!

▲ The slight two-layered appearance looks lovely! (/ω＼)

He is wearing his outfit from the finale of the Grand Prix, so he also comes complete with a bouquet and a gold medal to pose him showing off his victory!

▲ That elegant appearance is preserved even in Nendoroid form!

Along with the playful winking expression above, he also comes with a gentle standard expression which allows you to see both of his lovely blue eyes!

His mouth looks so sexy…!

While I was taking photos of him I kept somehow imagining that the Nendoroid should have a clean, sweet and somewhat sexy aroma to it! It just looks like there should be a nice scent to him. Obviously he is nothing more than a figure and it was all in the mind, but it shows how much one sense can influence the others in my mind!

Just like Nendoroid Yuri Katsuki he also comes with bent arm and leg parts which allow for all sorts of poses! ♥

Moving onto his third expression, we have an adorable smile with his iconic heart-shaped mouth!! (*´♡`*)

This face is so cute it just leaves me speechless!!

Not to mention the adorable little Makkachin beside him!! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

Makkachin’s head can be moved left and right for different nuances! ♪

This expression also works very nicely with the katsudon parts that are included with Nendoroid Yuri Katsuki!

One of the best things about Nendoroids is that you can swap parts around the characters like this for all sorts of options! Another example is to switch this around and use some of Victor’s parts on Yuri!

Nendoroids also generally make use of the same joints for their heads, so you can also completely swap out the body between characters to create something amazing like this!!! ☆

Nendoroid Lancer/Scáthach (Fate/Grand Order)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Lancer/Scáthach!

From the popular game ‘Fate/Grand Order’ comes a Nendoroid of the Queen of Dun Scaith – Scáthach! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a shouting expression for combat as well as a cute smiling expression.

Optional parts include two different spears which allow you to display her wielding a single lance or dual-wielding both of them. She also comes with special magical spear effect parts to display her unleashing her power with her Noble Phantasm ‘Gae Bolg Alternative’! Be sure to add the proud queen with her striking red eyes to your collection!

From Fate/Grand Order comes a Nendoroid of Lancer/Scáthach! The tight fitting outfit and the armor on her arms and legs are so lovely and detailed!! You get a good feeling for how tight they outfit is by looking at the little belly button showing through the fabric! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Her standard face plate is a rather hard to read expression, but she also comes with a more forceful shouting expression, perfect for combat scenes!

▲ The change in expression makes her suddenly look much more threatening!

She comes with both left and right hand parts to hold her lances, allowing you to display her wielding a single lance or dual-wielding both of them! ★

She also comes with a magical lance effect part to pose her making use of her Noble Phantasm ‘Gae Bolg Alternative’!

I recently got the bouquet at one of my friends weddings! The thing is it wasn’t a thrown bouquet but instead drawn randomly by chance! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/6th scale figure…
Super Sonico 10th Anniversary Figure Wedding Ver.!♥

A figure of Sonico in a beautiful wedding dress in celebration of Super Sonico’s 10th anniversary! The figure is based on an original illustration by Tsuji Santa and has been sculpted in 1/6th scale to capture her impressive dress and sexy appearance in lovely detail!

The wedding dress is an original design made especially for Sonico, bringing out her charm as much as possible for fans to enjoy by their side. She also comes with an alternate expression part to display her ready to tie the knot with her wedding kiss! Be sure to add this Sonico to your collection as your bride!

Sonico is getting married!

A sexy and cute figure of Sonico-chan in celebration of her 10th anniversary! The rather revealing wedding dress suits her so very nicely!!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Let’s take a quick spin around! ♪

The figure is packed with so much happiness and the outfit shows off a fair amount of skin showing off that sexy body that fans have come to love! What’s more, the figure is an impressive 1/6th scale and stand approximately 350mm in height when combined with the base! ♪

The heavy yet squishy appearance of Sonico’s huge boobies have been faithfully sculpted on the figure! The inside sections of the dress make use of a pearl paintwork which makes the light shine off them so beautifully! ♥

▲ The creases on her outfit are also so very intricate! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

The various important items for a bride are also included!

▲The curled petals at the edge of the roses make them look so soft! ☆

Another detail that really brings out the intricate sculpt is the frills and lacing all over the outfit! It also brings out the ‘wedding dress’ feeling very nicely!

The figure is filled of highlights on both her body and her outfit, but I think personally the area that most catches my attention is the sensual feeling above her knees!

Then we move onto her expression where we get something quite contrasting to her super sexy body – just look at the innocent, lovable look on her cute little face!! ( ✧Д✧)

Another thing I want to make sure everyone notices is how if you look closely at the material you can quite easily make out exactly what is behind it!! You can not only get a feel for how thin and silky the material used for her outfit is, but you also get an extra little “bump” of sexiness!!

The dress and skirt can also be removed! (´□｀｡)

▲ More like the first night in the bedroom rather the the wedding itself!

Her bottom also has a bit of a glossy effect to it making her look a little flushed!

▲ I think the photo above captures it quite nicely!

Speaking of flushed, the area around her boobies also has a bit of a pink touch to it to match up! ♪

The paintwork really helps you to feel the warmth of Sonico’s body with nothing but your eyes!

The figure shows off a lovely amount of skin, which has all been sculpted to look soft and touchable by chiaki (knead) and painted to perfection by Iwabitsu from the GSC production team! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Be sure to feel her all over with more than just your eyes once you add her to your collection!

The thighs and back of her knees that are normally hidden by the dress are nice, bare and clear for viewing with the dress removed! The way her garter belt digs into her skin and the texture of the stockings are also all a treat for the eyes! ★

The stand is slightly taller than most figures which allows you to look at her from all sorts of angles as soon as you have her out on display! Her size should also make her easy to fit into the back of a display with other figures without being blocked too much! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

But that’s still not all! Sonico in fact comes with an interchangeable face as well!!

Along with her innocent, playful expression above, she also comes with this amazing expression to really bring the wedding to life!!

A Wedding Kiss Expression!♥

Isn’t it just adorable!! The slight blush on her cheeks, the slightly open mouth and those eyes closed just waiting for you to get in closer and complete the ceremony!! I don’t think a figure has ever made me feel so emotional!! This… this is forever!! (〃ω〃)

The expression looks lovely from any angle!

Mami Tomoe ~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~ (Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie)

Although it is at a rather late time period during the live broadcast, I’m really looking forward to the Hobby no Tora corner this WonFes broadcast! I hope some of you will join in on the fun! (∩・∀・)∩

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product currently up for preorder…

Mami Tomoe
~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~!

From ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: The Beginning Story / The Everlasting’ comes a scale figure of Mami Tomoe in her Puella Magi outfit. The figure is based on the original key visual for the movie, originally illustrated by character designer Ume Aoki.

Her skirt billowing in the wind and various other intricate details have been carefully included on the figure for fans to enjoy in their collection. Be sure to display her with the previous released characters from the series!

A brand new scale figure from the popular anime series ‘Madoka Magica’!

The figure is based on the key visual drawn for the movie edition of the anime, illustrated by the character designer Ume Aoki! The unique floating pose and atmosphere of the series is captured so nicely with the figure! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ

A look from the back!!

The round skirt and long legs that extend out from it, as well as her iconic curly hair, plume hat and more have all been faithfully included and details from the front all the way to the back! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Her magical musket is also included, sculpted in intricate detail! ♥

▲ It has a bit of a fairy-tale look, but don’t doubt the firepower!

This is actually the third figure in a long ongoing series of figures from the series!

Anyway, back to Mami-san…

Just like the previous two figures in the series, the attention to detail on the creases and flow of her clothing was one of the main points kept in mind while sculpting! ヽ(●´Д｀●)ﾉ

The way the fabric around her chest is being pulled…. you can make out the shape and the pull of gravity beneath the outfit so clearly!

The appearance of her hair accessory has also been faithfully preserved!♪

A closer look below and we find an amazingly intricate ribbon and dainty fingers that have a rather glamorous nail polish! ♪

▲ The creases in her skirt where her hand holds it down are impeccable!

The expression also captures the unique, gentle style of Ume Aoki-sensei’s illustration in figure form! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

Those gentle eyes looking down on me… I can just imagine her calming voice speaking to me!!

Nendoroid Hanamaru Kunikida (LoveLive! Sunshine!!)

On cold winter days I like to drink some nice warm, sweet red bean soup! But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Hanamaru Kunikida!★

From the anime series ‘LoveLive!Sunshine!!’ comes a Nendoroid of the Aqours member Hanamaru Kunikida wearing her outfit from the song ‘Aozora Jumping Heart’! She comes with both a cute smiling expression as well as an expression with sparkling eyes and her mouth open in amazement!

A selection of different parts are also included which allow you to pose her in different dance poses from the opening theme of the anime series, and the ‘Noppo’ bread from Shizuoka is also included in Nendoroid size! Be sure to enjoy her together with the other members of Aqours! ♪

“We live in the future, zura!”

The gentle, considerate idol who has a beautiful singing voice – Hanamaru Kunikida is joining the Nendoroids!! She comes with various interchangeable arms and leg parts to help recreate the dancing scenes from the opening theme – including the cute kitty pose!!ヽ(●´Д｀●)ﾉ

The lovely little smile together with the ‘Aozora Jumping Heart’ outfit all come together to create such a cute appearance! There is also something about it that gives her a more mature appearance as well though! ♡
