2013’s Final Blog Post! Thanks for all Your Support!

Only 5 days left of 2013!!

The end of year cleaning of the offices seems like a never ending task! As soon as I start cleaning something else seems to pique my interest and I never seem to get to cleaning… I end up reading magazines back from Spring, or reading through manga that was once used as planning material for Nendoroids! ^^

There are still a good five days of the year, so be sure to make good use of them… however… this is the final blog for this year! (｀・ω・´；)

The reborn Miku Nendoroid reached #1! ☆

The figma was just as popular at #2, with her beautiful angel wings! figma Link and Samus’s rereleases were especially popular overseas, reaching new records of sales outside of Japan! The variety in the top 30 was quite nicely varied overall, after the initial Miku boom at the top!

Speaking of variety, ever since we moved to the Skytree Max Factory and Phat! company have been on the same floor working together with us! I wanted to get a comment from each of them about their favorite releases from 2013!

Sorry to keep you waiting! The sexy witch is on her way! 

1/7th Scale Bayonetta

A faithful sculpt of the CG illustration from the game. Including all her accessories, four pistols and the ‘witch mark’ on her chest. Looking at the figure version of Bayonetta I can almost assure you’ll discover more amazing details on her design that you never even noticed in the game! Her four ‘Scarborough Fire’ pistols each with their gemstones, straps and even separately sculpted barrels have all been faithfully sculpted with the utmost care.

Even the underside of her feet feature a magic circle pattern! Her long sleeves and hair, and the stand based on the effect that appears whenever she jumped make for a figure that fans will be truly proud to own. You need to see it with your own eyes to truly appreciate the beauty! With the anime film, she is bound to become popular once again too!

The prototype’s unique balance was such an outstanding thing to see in person! I remember carrying it around at an event and I was so worried something was going to happen to it!

She’s also a rather impressive size, and has loads of features to enjoy! (*´Д`) Looking at her from each and every angle makes for an amazing experience!

A special sculpt for a 10th anniversary!

When this was released as a resin kit many years back, I remember talking with Aki and saying we had to make a painted product of it one day. It’s a masterpiece, filled with precious memories for me. Honestly, there were many hurdles we had to get over to convert this into a mass-producible product – the hair in particular caused quite a headache. But we finally got it to work out, and they came out looking great! To this day I still think this is the masterpiece of it’s sculptor, Chieri.

It may have taken a good few years to get a pre-painted product released – but she’s finally available! I don’t think I need to mention the amazing sculpting and details on the figure itself, but I do want to add that along with that there are many feelings and hours of time put into that make it all the more special. It’s a figure that commemorates MAX FACTORY’s 25th anniversary year perfectly!

Sculpting worthy of a goddess!!

Another figure that had to be kept very safe at events! A 1 meter radius around it needed to be reserved to ensure nothing happened to the prototype! I’m so happy to have the product version now, so I can look and touch as much as I like without worrying! The twists and twirls of their outfits and hair, and Holybell’s wings are all such a treat for the eyes! Each also includes a unique serial number giving it a rather special feeling too!

Finally, let’s see what the most recommended product was this year from GSC’s CEO – Takanori Aki! (｀・ω・´)

This year’s GSC Prize Goes to…!!

1/8th Scale Insane Black Rock Shooter

There are two things about this figure that simply blow me away. The first is the powerful composition of the pose, and the second is the amazing sculptwork that brings out that composition so perfectly! No matter what angle you look at this figure from, it’s a masterpiece of a figure in my eyes. Of course a big part of the figure are the amazing character designs by huke-sensei, which have allowed for a number of amazing BRS figures to be created. Your work is amazing, huke-san! The sculptor behind the figure was kiking-kun from our Shanghai team – he worked closely with the sculptors here in Japan and ended up creating a truly magnificent figure! 

The ‘threeA-like’ damaged paintwork is something that really stands out to me on the sculpt – particularly on the base and the two weapons. I’ve always been a fan of the realistic damaged look on threeA figures, and when I saw GSC was able to reach a similar look, I knew it was a wonderful thing. I also want to thank the manufacturing team and everyone in the factories – they kept the unique colors and sculpt in tact all through the mass-production phase, allowing the figure to be released at its finest. I really think this product was the product of a collection of GSC’s spirit this year – a truly unique and beautiful figure!

A product that includes all the atmosphere of the Black Rock Shooter world!

Now that you mention it… the paintwork is rather threeA-like!!
It was also a very well received figure overseas! ε=(｡・д・｡)

I also have a few questions for you Aki-san!
What kind of a year do you see for 2014?

(・∀・) “There are all sorts of things I’m interested in trying out next year! We’ve been preparing for the last few years for these too…so they’ll be quite big!”

(・∀・) “Things related to manufacturing for a start, but also some interesting ideas that might change the meaning of figures to some people.”

(・∀・) “GSC is planning a ‘new move’ that will make them the pride of the figure industry!”

Looks like that’s all we’ll be getting for this year!

This brings Kahotan’s Blog to an end for 2013… but I’ll be back next year with much more! This is also my 100th blog update, which makes it rather special in a whole different way! What a bizarre coincidence!

Nendoroid T.M.Revolution

Only a few days left of 2013!!

A big thank you to everyone who tuned into the Kahotan Station Live Broadcast last night – the final broadcast of this year! Apologies for the server troubles!

I’ll be continuing the live broadcasts next year, so I do hope you’ll all join me again in 2014! Anyway, even as the year comes to an end GSC is still shipping out a last few products… including today’s review sample:

Nendoroid T.M.Revolution!

Aniki! Isn’t he adorable?! (ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

The Nendoroid of TM Revolution’s Takanori Nishikawa is finally being released!

Such a bright and powerful smile!!

This is how the packaging looks!

He comes with two upper body parts, making him quite special! ♥

The design is based on how he looked in the ‘Preserved Roses’ music video. It has a kind of futuristic look to it that looks really cute in chibi Nendoroid size!

He also comes with a special hand to hold is helmet!

This mysterious device that appeared in the music video as well as on the CD cover is also included!

He even comes with stickers to allow you to recreate the scene where his cheek is cut in the music video! ♪

Four of the same sticker are included, giving you lots of tried to get it right! Alternatively you could use them on another Nendoroid instead! (o・ω・o)

Also… I wonder how many of you have noticed…?
Take a close look at his mouth!

Hmm… it’s actually really hard to tell from a photo… (；・∀・)

Compared to most Nendoroids, his lips have much more defined sculpting! Made to look more like Takanori Nishikawa’s lovely lips! I love these little details on my Nendoroids! The same goes for the mole on his stomach!! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

But you can also pose him performing live from the ‘T.M.R. LIVE REVOLUTION’13 -UNDER：COVER 2-‘ performance!

He sings with such a carefree look! It’s lovely! （*´▽｀*）
I wish I could be reborn as that mike stand!

He also comes with a body featuring his tour T-shirt as well as a tour towel!

Seeing this makes me want go to one of his performances and join in on the fun! I think I’ll have to settle for watching the performance DVD together with the Nendoroid instead though! ♪

He really is sculpted to amazing detail, so be sure to take a nice close look when your’s arrives!

Luigi’s 30th Anniversary Year! Nendoroid Luigi!

My circle of friends includes three sets of twins! For some reason all of them are also super good looking, and it’s often interesting to see just how well they synchronize with each other sometimes! （*´▽｀*）

But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the younger of two famous twin brothers…

Nendoroid Luigi! ☆

In commemoration of ‘THE YEAR OF LUIGI’ comes a Nendoroid of Luigi from Super Mario! He comes with three expressions including his standard expression, a smiling expression and even a surprised expression – allowing you to display Luigi in all sorts of poses!

He also comes with dash and jumping effect parts, as well as a pipe to bring out the atmosphere of the game! Two of the classic enemies Super Mario enemies, the Goomba and Bullet Bill, are both included allowing for various classic scenes from the game to be recreated!

He’s rather cute!! （*´▽｀*）


Apologies for the long delay! I know many fans have been waiting since he was announced at the Summer Wonfes earlier this year! The younger of the world’s most famous plumbing brothers is finally joining the Nendoroid series! (｀・ω・´)

All of the special characteristics that make him Luigi have been kept in tact, while still ensuring the design fits into the Nendoroid series! A little while back during the design process he was actually a little less Nendoroid and more of the classic Luigi… but since he was joining the Nendoroid series, we decided we had to make sure he fitted into the series nicely!

Needless to say, he has come out looking super adorable! ★


For those who don’t know, 2013 is the 30th anniversary of when Luigi first appeared in a Mario game! The game was released in 1983 as ‘Mario Brothers’!

At the moment you can find it on all sorts of gaming platforms, so I’m sure many of you have played it at some point!


Looking back on the Mario games of the past… you can see how Luigi’s design has slowly developed into what it is today! What started off as a taller, thinner green version of Mario has become a lovely character himself, even in his very own games! (ﾟωﾟ(｡_｡(ﾟωﾟ(｡_｡

Personally I like his character in the Luigi’s Mansion’s games! The fact that as more and more games were released his character slowly evolved further and further is a rather interesting thing to consider!


But even now, his biggest trademark is the ‘L’ initialed green hat, which looks lovely in Nendoroid size! ♪


Another lovely thing is that he comes with a huge selection of optional parts to help recreate scenes from the games! This includes enemies such as the Goomba and Bullet Bill, as well as the must-have pipe!

The enemies give Luigi something to fight against, while the pipe brings out the Mario universe perfectly! ♡

Plus… as I’m sure you’ve noticed by now…

(・∀・) “Nendoroid Luigi comes with an inner cardboard sheet with the game world in the background!”

We’re joined by the head planner, Kyojin!

(・∀・) “If you pose him with the background, it really feels just like he’s jumped out of the game…! We had a load of fun using it for the official release photos as well!”

He really is a Nendoroid full of fun! I want to grab him myself for more fun!!
Another thing I’m sure some fans have already noticed…

The Nendoroid Base seems a little different this time too…! ( ﾟдﾟ)

(・∀・) “Yep! Mario is known as the king of horizontal platform games, so we made a special long rectangular base to display him on!”

The green coloring also suits him and the background really nicely! ♪


By the way, what made you pick the Goomba and Bullet Bill as the two enemies to include with him? There must have been so many options to choose from!


(・∀・) “We knew we wanted to include some of the baddies with him, and the classic Goomba was a definite. As for Bullet Bill… he was always a one of my favorites, and I figured he’s work great with the surprised expression!”

Luigi’s “Oh!” surprised expression really brings out his personality!


By the way, even Bullet Bill’s arms are articulated!

The Nendoroid really excels at bringing out the feeling of the game!! Not to mention I can think of all sorts of other Nendoroid’s I’d like to display with that pipe!! (ΦωΦ)ﾌﾌﾌ…

(・∀・) “By the way, Not only does he come with enemies, he also includes some effect parts!”


Oooh! It looks just like he is running and jumping in the game!! I’ve always wondered why that mysterious smoke exists though. ^^;

(・∀・) “Mysterious smoke? It’s jumping effect parts!! He also comes with dashing effects to help you create all sorts of movements!”

It looks so fluffy!! (o・ω・o)!!
For some reason I really feel like playing a Mario game now…

Nendoroid Levi

The figure I planned to review today had his expressions off in China, but they managed to come back just in time!!

Which means although it’s a little bit later than normal… today we’ll be taking a look at ‘mankind’s strongest solder’…

Nendoroid Levi! ♥

From the popular anime series ‘Attack on Titan’ comes the forth character to join the Nendoroid series – mankind’s strongest solider, Levi! He comes with three expressions including his standard expression, a combat expression and a condescending expression. Just like Eren and Mikasa, he also comes with his Vertical Maneuvering Equipment and dual blades to be posed in action – but also comes with reverse backhand grip parts and maneuvering parts specially suited to his unique fighting style! His Scouting Legion cape is also of course included.You can also pose him together with the previously announced Nendoroid Eren Yeager to recreate the famous interrogation scene from the series, as well as with the other characters from the series to fully recreate the Attack on Titan universe in Nendoroid size!

Ooooh!! He’s so cute!
I never thought I’d see such a cute Heichou!!

The blush marks that were seen on his unpainted prototype have been removed, but he’s still adorable none the less! ♪

The must-have Scouting Legion cape is fitted with three separate joint parts, which allows for poses such as this one!

You can also apparently attach it to Mikasa or Eren! ♡

His hairstyle is also shrunk down into Nendoroid size perfectly!

Let’s take a look at the other expressions! ♪

Up until now I’ve only shown the ‘standard’ expression, but he also comes with parts perfect for combat scenes!

His ‘Combat Expression’!! ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))

Just look how determined he looks! I think that line above his eye makes him look even more determined than Eren did…!

(・∀・) “We really tried hard to get this expression looking right!”

We’re joined today by the head planner of Nendoroid Levi – Kyojin!

(・∀・) “We tried to achieve that same ‘sharp glare’ he’s known for in the anime!”

He does look rather threatening! Perhaps even a little TOO scary for me…

(・∀・) “Ah, also! I recommend these effect parts for combat scenes!”

(・∀・) “We took the image of the spinning Heichou and made it into this!”

Levi could take out any Titan with one quick spinning slash! ♪
Ah! I haven’t shown the most important expression yet! ( ﾟдﾟ)!

(・∀・) “My personal favorite too! The condescending expression!”

Thank you!! I love being looked down upon by you, Heichou!! （*´▽｀*）

Let’s try another angle too!!

(・∀・) “Be sure to display him with Eren to recreate the interrogation scene!”

Levi even comes with an alternate kicking leg that matches up with Eren’s lowered head parts perfectly – a complete Nendoroid version of the famous scene! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Personally I’m going to get a Nendoroid More Clip or Suction Stand and display above me somewhere… constantly looking down on me with his condescending expression!! ♥

(・∀・) “There are many different sides to Levi for fans to enjoy with the Nendoroid!”

You can pose him together with figma Eren to recreate the famous scene as above! A scene that can be enjoyed in both figma and Nendoroid form! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

As soon as I can get my hands on either of these Levis… they will be posed starting down at me from above! Another thing to note is that figma Levi is 5mm shorter than both Eren and Mikasa – it’s the little things that count! ^^

Finally! Today is the final episode of BLAZBLUE ALTER MEMORY, and in commemoration I want to remind everyone about a certain Nendoroid Petite! ♪

Included with the limited edition 6th volume Blu-ray of the series is Nendoroid Petite Mu-12! The Blu-ray goes on sale on the 28th May 2014!

Even as a Nendoroid Petite, she has so much detail put into the sculpting of her bottom!! Definitely worth checking if you’re a fan of the series! ★

1/10th Scale Ultimate Madoka included with ‘Figure JAPAN: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Edition’!

This morning I went to the convenience store and as I was ready to pay I realized I had forgotten my wallet! Fortunately I had my PASMO card one me so I was able to pay with that! Phew…!

Anyway, today I found Hamako (dealing with a bit of a cold) sitting reading something by the office entrance!

She is reading none other than the first issue of Figure JAPAN released by Hobby Japan! The first issue focuses on Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie, and includes a 1/10th scale figure of Ultimate Madoka!

Figure Japan is a figure collector’s magazine with each issue focusing on a specific anime series and including a figure from that series. Each issue will have a complete figure catalog and a listing of new and upcoming products from the series it is based on, focusing on the figure included with that issue. It’s filled with lovely photos and all sorts of figure-related information, creating the perfect fan book for figure fans!
The first issue will be focusing on the popular series with a new movie coming this Fall, ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica’!
The included figure this time around is a GSC 1/10th scale Ultimate Madoka!

Nendoroid Shinku: Rozen Maiden Set

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I’m usually much more of a tea person, but sometimes I pretend to be an adult and drink a cup of coffee too…! (｀；ω；´) It’s so bitter!

Anyway, today I’m going to be introducing the Nendoroid of fellow tea lover…

Nendoroid Shinku: Rozen Maiden Set! ♡

She comes complete with a doll case… a rather large set for a Nendoroid! ♪

The packaging itself also has a little extra touch to it!

Ta-da!

Yep! Even the packaging is shaped like a doll case trunk… but it still keeps the Nendoroid package design too! The second Nendoroid to have a special box following on from Iron Man Mk.42 the other day! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

This is how the inner packaging looks!

Together with the rather large doll case… she also comes with an impressive four expressions!!

Let’s see what kind of poses we can put together!
Starting off with her standard ‘doll’ face! ♥ （*´▽｀*）

The beautiful straightforward eyes give her a lovely noble appearance! Her outfit is also sculpted beautifully and the detail adds even more to the high-class look!

Her twisted twin-tails are fitted with ball joints allowing you to move them into various positions to suit your pose! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Next let’s take a look at her ‘sleeping’ expression, perfect to display her inside the doll case!

Aww… she’s so cute inside the case!
I want to stand by her side and ensure nobody wakes her!

She also comes with her wind-up key, allowing you to wind her up! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Next we have her combat expression!

This was included to be placed together with the ‘Rosetail’ attack effect parts to recreate one of the combat scenes from the series!

Last but not least, we have the sideways glancing expression! ★

“This tea isn’t strong enough, pour me another!”

I can just hear her voice in my head when looking at this pose! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

I offered this Darjeeling tea to Shinku, but she turned it down saying she had to have tea made from leaves. So I went down to the shops and bought some tea leaves for her instead!!

I’m glad I was able to experience life as Shinku’s slave! (｡･ω･)

The photo above has Shinku posed sitting on the doll case, but just so you know… she is very finely balanced using the back of the stand and the Nendoroid itself, it’s not a very secure pose… (； ･`ω･´)

Through trial and error I also managed to get her sitting on the edge of the opened case! Alternate leg parts are included which make sitting poses look much more authentic! ( -ﾉｪ-)ｺｯｿﾘ

Shipping out from GSC on the 24th December! Nendoroid Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi!

I don’t think I’ve eaten a single nikuman this year… whenever I’m buying things from a convenience store I can never find the right timing to add “Ah, and one nikuman please!”

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a Nendoroid shipping out from GSC on the 24th of December…

Nendoroid Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi! ♡

Tsukko-chan, you’re so adorable!! ♥ （*´▽｀*）

Her hip joint allows you to display her with her body slightly twisted, allowing you to create poses like this one! I’m so glad to see the cute and cool senpai released!!

Seeing her like this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside… I get the feeling I may now how Youto’s felt when he was around her!

Here I’ve posed her playing with a fluffy pon-pon! She looks rather interested, doesn’t she! ^^

This is how the packaging looks! (｀・ω・´)

The included parts allow you to create the cute pose from the first volume of the light novel!

The power of upturned eyes on someone this cute is enough to get me to do anything for them! But Tsukiko doesn’t need to rely on that, she is just as cute in other poses… like this one! ー(*´Д`)

She comes with both car ears and a tail! I think she’s trying to kill me with cuteness!! Note that the tail is attached to the alternate skirt!

The ears are attached by a small transparent piece of plastic that connects in-between the front and back hair parts! Simply put it in the middle and attach the ears!

The transparent piece of plastic is included within the plastic packet that the handling instructions come in, so be careful when opening everything up! You don’t want to lose it!

The giant nikuman from the series is also included! ♪

It works best displayed together with her chewing expression! *nom nom*

But Tsukiko loves to eat, so she comes with more parts that suit the chewing expression…!

Curry and rice! (｀・ω・´)

I can’t help but want to poke at the little bulge in her cheek! ♡
If she isn’t eating food, the same expression also looks a bit like she is upset, blowing air into her one cheek! ( -ﾉｪ-)

How can anyone not want to pet this adorable little Tsukko-chan!! ＜●＞＜●＞

Nendoroid Colossus Titan & Attack Playset

I’m looking for a good ways to cut off some excess weight, but whenever I see newly released candy I can’t help but try it… (ﾉ)・ω・｀(ヾ) *nomnom*

But anyway, today we’re going to be taking a look at a product that is shipping out from GSC today…

Nendoroid Colossus Titan & Attack Playset

The unexpected Nendoroid form of the Colossus Titan is finally being released! This is the start of the still flourishing ‘Attack on Titan’ Nendoroid series! ♪

Let’s start off with a look at the packaging!

It’s rather large…!

The Titan peering over from the top of the box was a wonderful addition! ★

Next let’s take a closer look at the blister pack! ♪

As you’d expect from the ‘Playset’ product name, this Nendoroid comes with various extra goodies as well as the Colossus Titan himself!

His stand is made to look like a miniature Shiganshina District!

All of the included parts are not attached to the stand itself, so you really have the freedom to arrange them, or place them absolutely anywhere you like! ♪

Alright then, let’s have the Titan break open the wall quick…

An alternate wall part with the center broken in is included!

The hole allows for all the smaller titans to break into the city, while the little people fight back – with Vertical Maneuvering Devices that include effect parts and all – they really look like they’re flying though the air!

…(ΦωΦ)…

How many of you noticed that the last photo also provided a sneak peak of the secret titan included in the set – the titan that was not seen in any release cuts! He was also mysteriously hidden from the blister pack photo!

You’ll have to wait until your set arrives to check out the full details though! That sneak peek is all I’m giving! ★

Anyway, let’s get back to the Colossus Titan himself!

He definitely has a rather different atmosphere about him when compared to normal Nendoroids… (ﾟｰﾟ*)(｡_｡*)

His arms and legs are much more articulated than normal – almost like a fully posable Nendoroid!

Along with his serious standard expression, he also comes with a chibi expression for more comical scenes… her also looks a little cuter which makes him fit in with other Nendoroids better! ^^;

You can swap between the two different expressions whenever you like!

Poses like this suit the chibi face nicely! ♥

The first time I saw the Nendoroid, I remember thinking… “H-How do I exchange expression parts on this thing?! ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))”.

I’m sure some of you might be thinking the same thing, but it’s easier than you think! The area highlighted in blue here comes off just like the front hair parts of other Nendoroids – it’s just the same as always!

I remember thinking the same thing when I first saw Nendoroid Monokuma as well… when the characters are not human it can sometimes seem rather confusing!

The production team apparently had quite a lot of trouble effectively making the part separable without standing out, but they’ve done a great job! (；・∀・)

I do think the realistic expression is great for the series… but personally the chibi expression is what makes this Nendoroid perfect to me! ♥

Here we have him doing his early morning jogging! It’s cold enough for you to see your breath now!!

Just one quick note… this is the Colossus Titan, but he is the same size as any other Nendoroid – don’t expect anything enormous! (；´∀｀)

Although posing other Nendoroids together with him and the playset make it look as if they’re grown to huge sizes! Colossus Mikudayo!

I look forward to displaying Mikasa and Eren together with him!

Nendoroid Akagi

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

Other than the pretty decorations you saw me playing around with yesterday, I’ve never been much of a Christmas person. Once the decorating is over I’m happy to wait until Christmas Mode passes over… and the New Year arrives!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Akagi!

From ‘Kantai Collection ~KanColle~’ comes a Nendoroid of the aircraft carrier, Akagi! The ship deck board, radar and mast she carries with her are all included to display by her side.

But that’s not all – three smaller aircraft are included to display around her to represent her as an aircraft carrier, and special effect parts to display her soaring over water are also included to recreate her evasion animation! All these parts together allow Akagi to be displayed as the military flagship she is!

However she also comes with a huge bowl of rice, a table set and a bucket filled with bauxite to display the more comical side of her as well – just pick the Akagi you prefer!

S-she’s adorable!!

I know many of you have been waiting for her ever since Shimakaze was announced, apologies for the long wait! The second to join the KanColle Nendoroid series is none other than the aircraft carrier, Akagi!♡

Her kyuudou uniform-like outfit has been faithfully transformed into Nendoroid size – even the ‘A’ on her skirt panel is included! The bow and arrow is also included and she can even be posed pulling the string, ready to fire! ♪

Posing the included aeroplanes around her really brings out the KanColle universe! ♡


(・∀・) “The details on the smaller items like the ship deck, radar and mast arrow are definitely something to notice!”

I wouldn’t call them smaller items! They are definitely important parts to Akagi’s character design! ε=(｡・д・｡)

(・∀・) “That’s exactly it! These parts are central to her character, so we made sure to get them right! Even though it was quite a nightmare to transform them into chibi size… “


It’s not always easy to keep the character nicely in tact when designing the Nendoroid!

(・∀・) “There are many more items included that bring out Akagi’s character though! For example…! “


Is this…?! (ﾟ∀ﾟ)!

(・∀・) “Yep! A bucket of bauxite!”

All the admirals out there are sure to enjoy recreating their favorite scenes with the ‘Queen of Bauxite’… (o・ω・o)♥

(・∀・) “But there is still much more to come! Fans will know that Akagi loves to eat., and she particularly loves to eat rice… so…!”

(・∀・) “A little table with a cushion to sit on, a bowl of rice with some seconds on the side and even chopsticks are all included!

Oooh!! （*´▽｀*） She really is quite the glutton with this set!


She even has a grain of rice stuck on her cheek as she noms down the rice! She looks so happy…!! So happy that I feel all happy inside myself just by looking at her!! ♡

She also comes with three small aeroplanes to display flying around her! ♡

(・∀・) “From the left we have the Aichi D3A, the Mitsubishi A6M Zero and the Nakajima B5N!”

They’re so small but you can still make out the differences between the types!

The tiny planes are made using 3D data! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

(・∀・) “She also comes with some cool effect parts to pose her gliding over the…

…Ah!“

W-What’s the matter?! ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))

(；・∀・) “The A6M Zero is the wrong color…!!”

(；・∀・) “The aeroplane in the middle there… it’s well known to be grey with just a hint of green…! I’m gonna go get Doc (someone from the production team) to fix it up quick!”
