My very first blog will be none other than…
Nendoroid Colossal Titan & Attack on Titan Playset
| From the anime series ‘Attack on Titan’ comes a Nendoroid of the Colossal Titan that breaks down the walls that protect mankind!A special dioramic base made to look like the Shiganshina District including the giant wall and city are also included to recreate the epic scenes from the series! The Titan that ate Carla, a 15-meter class titan and one other secret titan are also all included as miniature Titans to help bring out the tense atmosphere. Miniature villagers and soldiers and even a broken wall are also included! The ‘Attack of Titan’ world is coming to life in Nendoroid size for fans to enjoy! |
This is much more than just a single Nendoroid of the Colossal Titan – you get all sorts of other goodies from the series as well!
The wall, houses, villagers and other titans are all included!
It’s a complete playset for all sorts of fun!! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ
There are three mini-Titans included and one of them is a secret!!

Below you can see the Nendoroid on display with the special diorama that was on display at Wonder Festival 2013 last Sunday! (28th July)
This photo is taken from a low angle to show just what it’s like to be someone like Eren, always having to look up at the giant Titan! (ΦωΦ)
Even in Nendoroid size the muscles stretching over the Titan’s face look just as disturbing as they do in the series!!
The soldiers equipped with 3D Maneuver Gear can be posed jumping through the air using the smoke parts that attach to the chimneys!
There are so many ways to create fun scenes from the Shiganshina District!
The houses themselves are also not attached to the base, so you can line up the houses however you like! Plus all the little characters (even the villagers without the 3D Maneuver Gear) are each sculpted slightly differently!!

(・∀・) “Sculpting these little people was probably the hardest part of the set.
Although they’re small, each of them was specifically made to look different to the others, so I hope everyone takes the time to look at them in detail!”
Just look how tiny they are! Making them all different and still able to go through mass production must have been quite tough. Was there anything else you paid special attention to?
(・∀・) ”The Wall! If you decide to pick up two of them, the walls can actually connect together to make a semi-circle!”

If you get enough you could completely recreate the circular Shiganshina District!

Thanks for all your input!! Having the wall with a hole in it makes it really seem like the Titan is breaking in! But as if all these parts weren’t enough…

I-I hate to say it, but he… he actually looks…
… disturbingly cute!! (●´ω｀●)

I think this is the first Nendoroid to do this since Nendoroid Ryuk!
(･∀･) ”Well he is a Titan… I’m sure he wants to eat things!”
You can make use of the included miniatures to pose him eating too!
(･∀･) ”Yep! Plus the Titan that ate Eren’s mother also has an articulated mouth and hands!”

So many options with such attention to detail… you can really see the planners behind this figure are fans of the series themselves! To think you can pose the Titans eating the humans is simply amazing!

Plus fans will be happy to know that Nendoroid Mikasa’s prototype as well as Nendoroid Eren’s announcement were both at Wonder Festival! They’ll also be joining the series soon!!
There is even a scale figure of Mikasa being planned, so Attack on Titan fans have lots to look forward to!
