Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Hatsune Miku:
Magical Mirai 5th Anniversary Ver.! ☆

From the “Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku” comes a new Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku based wearing the outfit used for the 2013 Magical Mirai key visual illustration! She comes with three face plates including a standard smiling face, a more serious smile with her eyes looking to the side as well as a cute smiling expression with a slight blush and closed eyes.

Optional accessories include her trademark hat as well as her magic wand sculpted in beautiful detail. She also comes with colorful magic effect parts to display her performing magic, as well as parts that allow for a cute sitting pose! A special background plate drawn by the illustrator CHRIS is also included to really bring out the magic! Be sure to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Magical Mirai by adding this magical Miku to your collection!

A Nendoroid to celebrate Magical Mirai’s 5th anniversary!

One of the original designs for the Magical Mirai version of Hatsune Miku has finally been transformed into a Nendoroid! ♥

The cute magician-esque top hat and outfit have all been adorably shrunk down to Nendoroid size!

▲ The star accessory is attached to the hat with a ball chain!
It swings around adding to the cuteness!

▲ The tailcoat jacket looks great from the back! ( *¯ ³¯*)

The Nendoroid also comes with a background plate that was specially illustrated by the original illustrator, CHRIS!

A special attachment part is also included which allows you to easily display the sheet as a backdrop for Miku-san! As a side note, if you can’t seem to find the background sheet be sure to take a look at the back of the inner sheet of the box – that is where you will find it!

▲ The panel has a protective sheet on which you will need to peel off!

Another thing to note is that the inside of the packaging for the Nendoroid features the of the 2013 Magical Mirai main visual! You could even use this as another backdrop for the Nendoroid! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

The box itself features large holographic effects and a very cute design, so be sure to give it a good look too! ♥

Two different layers to store all the parts in! The Nendoroid base is also slightly larger than normal Nendoroid bases! ♪

By the way, the ribbon attaches to the hat using Velcro!

You can choose to remove the hat entirely, just the ribbon, or instead use both!

The Nendoroid also includes an alternate sitting part which allows you to display her sitting down like this!

The various interchangeable parts allow for so many options!

The other item that really stands out in the blister pack is of course the colorful magic effects!!

These effect cards come with their own little stand which allows you to place them wherever you need some Miku magic! (∩・∀・)∩

The 31st of August is Miku’s Anniversary!!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: 10th Anniversary Ver.!

Hatsune Miku celebrates her 10th anniversary on the 31st August 2017, and her special 10th anniversary illustration has been transformed into a Nendoroid to celebrate! The original character designer of Hatsune Miku, KEI, has worked together with the designer and manga artist Mari Shimazaki to create a vivid illustration to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hatsune Miku, which has been faithfully shrunk down into Nendoroid size!

Her colorful body, the iconic ribbon on her back as well as the ribbons in her hair have all been included to capture the more characteristic details of the 10th anniversary version. She comes with two face plates including a lovely smile based on the original illustration, as well as a cute winking expression for all sorts of adorable poses. Be sure to add the commemorative Nendoroid to your collection – the perfect item to celebrate Hatsune Miku’s 10th anniversary!

The 10th anniversary of Hatsune Miku! A brand new start!

The original VOCALOID2 Hatsune Miku software was released on the 31st August 2007 meaning the electronic diva has been around for a good 10 years now! This Nendoroid is based on the illustration that was drawn to commemorate the 10th anniversary and features various new details compared to the original!

First off, lets take a look at the colorful ribbon on her back!

The ribbon makes use of a translucent material together with very vibrant colors which makes for such a lovely and colorful appearance! The bottom parts of the ribbon are also fitted with joints ensuring that the ribbon won’t get in the way of certain poses!

Her outfit also features a special paint job! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Metallic with a rainbow gradient!

Doesn’t she look simply spectacular!!

Even in tiny Nendoroid size the outfit also features creases for a more realistic look that also shows off Miku’s sleek curves!

The headset and necktie also make use of translucent parts in order to capture the feeling of transparency from the original illustration! ☆

Moving on to her second face plate: a winking face!

Nendoroid Kirito: Ordinal Scale Ver. (Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale)

I play a lot of games, but I tend to give up before ever finishing them… I think I can count the number I’ve finished completely on one hand…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Kirito: Ordinal Scale Ver.!

From “Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale” comes a Nendoroid of the main character, Kirito, based on his new outfit from the movie! He comes with three face plates including a standard face, a shouting face for combat poses as well as an awakened face plate to recreate the serious look at the end of the movie.

The AR-type information terminal “Augma” that plays an important role in the movie is included, as well as Kirito’s favorite sword and the large broad sword used at the end of the movie together with powerful effect parts! Recreate all sorts of epic scenes from the movie in Nendoroid size!

*The specifications of this product differ to the Kirito included in Nendoroid Kirito & Asuna: O.S Ver. set version.

“This is just a game. Or so I thought…”

From Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale which has its Blu-ray and DVD releasing next month, comes a Nendoroid of Kirito! The gentle smiling expression really captures Kirito’s kind personality, and you can even see the AR-type information terminal “Augma” attached to his right ear! (/ω・＼)

Even in Nendoroid size all the details of his outfit including the golden bands and accessories and even his iconic shoe design have been faithfully preserved!

▲He also comes with alternate parts to display the sword sheathed!

Along with the gentle expression above, he also comes with a combat expression better suited to those more serious battle scenes! (∩・∀・)∩

He can be posed holding his sword with both hands for a more powerful strike, swinging his sword down vertically and much more thanks to the specially included arm and shoulder parts! Recreate all sorts of combat scenes in Nendoroid size!

Nendoroid Okanehira (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Hello everyone! Chan-shuu (@gscs_hirase) from the GSC planing team here!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at ORANGE ROUGE’s…
Nendoroid Okanehira!

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Bizen sword, Okanehira! He comes with three face plates including a standard face, a combat face as well as a smiling expression based on his “Naturally” line from the game. His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing you to recreate various scenes from the game. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“There are some that say that I am in fact the most beautiful sword!”

Okanehira is a Bizen sword just like Nendoroid Uguisumaru who was also recently announced! He is also the 20th character to join the Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- Nendoroid series!! There are still many other characters in the works, so look out for more soon!! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Anyway, let’s take a closer look at Okanehira…

The sharp tips of his hair have carefully painted to have the shades match the tips making for a very faithful rendition in Nendoroid size! the grey eyes peeling out from the hair also look so clear and confident!

The first thing I want to draw your attention to is the use of reds for the armor and cords all over the outfit that bring out such a lovely contrast with the blacks. The little golden details of the emblem and belts have also been carefully painted and make for a lovely accent! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

The figure went through various iterations to ensure that no matter what angle you chose to look from, the figure would always keep Okanehira’s shape in tact!

His second face plate is an expression more suited to combat, with sharp eyes and gritted teeth! Here is is posed with one leg out to the side and the other bent as if just about to make his next move!

Nendoroid Megumi Kato: Heroine Outfit Ver. (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭)

I sometimes have a stealth system that activates when I don’t want it to. Sometimes it takes ages for the staff in restaurants to notice me calling them…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Megumi Kato: Heroine Outfit Ver. !♪

From “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend” comes a Nendoroid of the main heroine Megumi Kato wearing her heroine outfit! The outfit that she first met Tomoya in, which also plays an important role in the series, is finally joining the Nendoroids! The beret style hat that has always been a rather iconic part of the outfit has also been included in Nendoroid size, and comes in two different sizes allowing you to display her either wearing or holding it.

She comes with three face plates including a smiling face, a blank face for when she ignores Tomoya as well as a crying expression. An alternate arm wearing her school uniform can be used together with the crying face and the previously released Nendoroid Megumi Kato in order to recreate the scene from the broadcast room in the 7th volume of the original novel.
The Nendoroid also features a special hill base in order to recreate the first meeting scene and really bring out the heroine power of Megumi in Nendoroid form! Be sure to add her to your collection!

“Shall we try dating?”

This item will be included with the Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭ Memorial Book with Nendoroid Megumi Kato: Heroine Outfit Ver. Limited Edition, but it will also be sold as a standard item in countries outside of Japan!

The Nendoroid features Megumi wearing the outfit from the scene that influenced Aki-kun to work toward his dream of making games! It even includes the hill from the scene!!

Let’s take a closer look at the product’s features!

1) A Hill Part is Included!

The standard Nendoroid stand connects at the back allowing almost any Nendoroid to stand atop the hill! The red and white safety barriers are sculpted with a bit of an elongated look in order to bring out a feeling of perspective on the hill!

2) Two Hat Parts are Included

A standard hat that she can actually wear on her head is included as you can see in the first few photos, but she also comes with a second hat to hold in her hands to recreate the above pose!

3) A Spaced-Out Expression!

This blank expression devoid of any life is also included to display her ignoring everything around her. I can also think of various other situations where this expression would come in handy!

4) Crying Face Also Included!

A cute expression with tears brimming in her eyes and a slight blush! I there anyone that could look at this face and not feel for her?!

This expression can also be used together with the previously released Nendoroid Megumi Kato (sold separately) in order to recreate the scene from the broadcast room in the 7th volume of the original novel!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Iowa Half-Damaged: Heavy Armament Ver. (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s…
Iowa Half-Damaged: Heavy Armament Ver.!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a new addition to Good Smile Company and Max Factory’s “Wonderful Hobby Selection” series of top quality figures – the US Iowa-class battleship Iowa in her half-damaged version!

The damaged appearance of her ship parts such as the bent gun turrets, broken bow and bridge have all been carefully sculpted and painted to create a convincing damaged appearance! The torn tights showing off her soft looking skin, as well as her beautiful long blond hair and playful expression have been detailed to create a cute figure of Iowa for fans to enjoy by their side!

“Ouch! You hit me pretty hard…
but I’ll get my pay back! Just you wait!”

Perhaps one of the most impressive battleships ever built, the USA’s Iowa has been transformed into a half-damaged scale figure for fans to enjoy!

The “half-damaged” figure lives up to its name with various little details all over to convey the damage! (´□｀｡)

▲ The damage is not only sculpted, but also painted onto the design!

▲ Even the inside of parts that broken parts can
be seen when you look through the holes!♪

Of course the ship parts are only one side to this figure!! She also has a very beautiful body for fans to enjoy as well!! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Her body looks so very soft and squeezable!! Just looking at her makes me reflexively want to reach and and touch her! (/ω＼)

The torn appearance of her mini-skirt and other damaged parts of her outfit have all been sculpted in lovely detail! Be sure to take a look from all sorts of angles once she joins your collection!

If you look up at her impressive bust from a lower angle you get a good feel for just how big and heavy the Iowa Battleship was!! ♥

Another area that I personally really like are her legs!!

Just look at the way the torn stockings are pressing against her skin!! It has been captured so beautifully! I want to run my finger along them and feel the bumps along the way!! (*´ｪ`*)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at BROCCOLI’s…
Kantai Collection -KanColle-: Shigure Kai-II!★

Kantai Collection -KanColle- is a simulation game where you take the role of an Admiral and build up your fleet of characters based on famous destroyers, cruisers, aircraft carriers and more! The series has also been made into an anime series and movie, and an arcade version of the game is also currently available in arcades!

From the game that started the battleship and anthropomorphic boom comes a 1/8th scale figure of the second Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, Shigure Kai-II, based on an official original illustration! The figure comes complete with an interchangeable crying face to fully complete the original illustration.

The single barreled cannon in her left hand has a steam of smoke coming out from it!

The smoke makes use of translucent parts creating a nice accent to the figure while also bringing out the atmosphere of the series! From the back you also get a nice contrast between her heavy ship parts and her soft looking skin!

Plus just look at the worried expression on her face!

The expression together with the way she is grasping at her chest shows she is rather uneasy! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Which is exactly why I am here to help protect her!!

The right side of her outfit has been damaged with a large tear showing off the bare skin of her left flank! (/・ω＼)

If you look close you can see the bumps on her skin from her rib cage in the opening, and if you look even closer you’ll even get a peek at her belly button!

(If you’re having trouble seeing it in the photo, here is a closer shot!)

* The above has the red ribbon part removed for a closer look, however this ribbon will not be removable on the final product.

The back of her knees are also sculpted beautifully!

The sculpt looks so very realistic even this close up!

The complexion and and ups and downs of the sculpt all come together to make for a lovely appearance!

Along with her lovely body, the sculpt of her ship parts and outfit are also very nicely done! Be sure to take a nice close look at all of the details once she joins your collection! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

It is based on the compass from the game!

The areas she is standing on have cracks where the glass has broken!

Plus, the figure also comes with an alternate crying face part in order to fully recreate the original illustration that the figure was based on! ε=(｡・д・｡) 

I always love getting a second face option with scale figures! 

Simply select the expression you prefer, or even switch it out once every few days for a different feel! Be sure to add the damaged destroyer to your collection!

Racing Miku 2017 Ver. (Hatsune Miku GT Project)

There is only one week left of August! I’ve hardly had time to enjoy the summer and Autumn is already starting to sneak up!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Racing Miku 2017 Ver.!

A full scale figure of the official character of the Hatsune Miku GT Project “Racing Miku” in her 2017 version. The adorable fairy Miku illustrated by popular artist Tony has been transformed into a figure with careful attention to all of the details of her original design.

The figure makes use of multiple translucent parts in order to being out the see-through feel of the colors on the original illustration. The curves of her flexible, healthy looking body have all been captured to create a figure ready to charm both fans and newcomers alike! Be sure to add the fairy-sized Miku to your collection!

A Scale Figure of the Fairy Racing Miku! ♡

The official character of the 2017 Hatsune Miku GT Project has been transformed into a cute scale figure!

The Nendoroid and figma versions of Racing Miku 2017 Ver. are both only available to personal sponsors of the racing team, but the scale figure is available as a standard item and will be available at all the normal stores!

The soft coloring of her green outfit has been captured beautifully, and all those translucent frills look so adorable!! ♪

The different layers of frills make use of different colors!

The frills are not the only part of the figure that make use of translucent parts though! Her hair also gets more transparent toward the ends while also featuring a slight yellow-green gradient to faithfully capture the original illustration by Tony!

Plus the wing parts also of course have a see-through appearance! ★

The fact that there are so many parts of the figure with a transparent look gives the whole figure such a light and airy feeling that matches the fairy theme nicely! (´□｀｡)

Also take note of her lovely body!

She has a very slender build, but there is still something about the skin that makes her look so soft and touchable! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

If look quote close you can even make out the shape of her rib cage underneath her chest! Amazing sculptwork! Not to mention the see-through center which gives you a nice look at her belly button!

▲Also note the creases in the outfit due to the twist in her hips!

By the way! This figure is actually a full 1/1 scale figure!

The reason for this is that this year’s Racing Miku is a fairy, and fairies are not that big!! Here she is compared with an iPhone 6S!

Nendoroid Hifumi Takimoto (NEW GAME!!)

I’m always amazed at the amount of different emoji that exist on the net. Recently my personal favorite is this one: ٩( ᐛ )( ᐖ )۶

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Hifumi Takimoto!

From the popular anime series with a second season currently being broadcast, “NEW GAME!” (based on the manga by Shoutarou Tokunou serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat), comes a Nendoroid of Aoba Suzukaze’s senior at work, Hifumi Takimoto! She comes with three face plates including a glaring expression, a surprised expression as well as a gentle smiling expression.

The Nendoroid includes a selection of accessories including her smartphone, her pet hedgehog Sojiro as well as emoji plates to display beside her to recreate various memorable poses from the series. She also comes with an alternate lower body part to display her sitting down! Be sure to display her with Nendoroid Aoba Suzukaze who has been scheduled for rerelease!

From the popular anime currently airing in Japan, “NEW GAME!!” comes a Nendoroid of the silent member of the game company Eagle Jump: Hifumi Takimoto!

Megumi Kato: Swimsuit Ver. (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend)

GSC has just come out of summer holidays! Time to start bringing all sorts of new figures to the fans!! ٩( ‘ω’ )و

Starting off with today’s review, which is the 1/7th scale figure of…
Megumi Kato: Swimsuit Ver.!★

From the popular anime series Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the main heroine of the series, Megumi Kato wearing a swimsuit! The figure is the third in a series of figures based on original illustrations by Kurehito Misaki, each featuring the Saekano girls wearing their swimsuits.

Misaki’s delicate touch and unique coloring have been carefully preserved on the figure, while also capturing the soft appearance of Megumi’s body with intricate sculptwork and paintwork. The large towel she holds behind her has also been very carefully sculpted to preserve the towel-like texture on the figure. The towel can also be removed to give a better look at her back which has also been sculpted in lovely detail for fans to enjoy!

Includes Bonus: Original Illustration Postcard (Illustrated by: Kurehito Misaki)

The third Saekano swimsuit figure based on Kurehito Misaki’s illustrations is Megumi!

From the anime series “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭” comes a scale figure of the “boring” girlfriend who excels in blending into the background – Megumi Kato! ♥

She is posed holding a large beach towel featuring the “blessing software” logo with sunglasses on her head as she looks ahead with a gentle smile! The cute hair-style and the slight purple gradient of her hair have all been preserved in lovely detail on the figure!

If we take a look from the back we get a nice look at bumps caused by her shoulder and back bones, and if you look close you can also just make out the shape of her bottom through the towel!

As a side note, both the towel and sunglasses can be removed, so if you’d rather display her without the towel covering anything up that is an option! If you want to see photos of this you’ll have to check the product page which will be up on the Good Smile Company website tomorrow!

This product was one of the many Saekano figures on display at Wonder Festival 2017 (Summer)! We had a special didplay section for them which looked like this! (∩・∀・)∩

She was displayed together with the previously announced Utaha Kasumigaoka: Swimsuit Ver. and Eriri Spencer Sawamura: Swimsuit Ver.! ♪

Anyway, let’s get back to today’s main feature! ♪

While Utaha-senpai may have the most impressive body, and Eriri boasts a more slender build, Megumi instead has a lovely balance with beautiful curves all around!

The touchable appearance of her body has been captured so effectively on this figure that it’s almost hard to believe that she isn’t going to be soft to the touch!

▲ Just looking gives me the urge to touch!

From the side she is just as beautiful!!

The bumps and indents of her body…. and the curves of her sideboob!! 

Look as long as you like from any angle you please with the figure! 

The area around her stomach as well the areas near the ribbons of her swimsuit have all had a slight shadow placed in specific areas to create a realistic look that matches with the sculpt!

Also take a close look at her dainty fingers and toes… and the painted nails at the end of them! ε=(｡・д・｡)
