Nendoroid Morisuke Yaku & Nendoroid Lev Haiba (Haikyu!!)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Morisuke Yaku &

Let’s take a closer look at each of them! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

Nendoroid Morisuke Yaku!

From the popular volleyball manga series with an equally popular anime, ‘Haikyu!!’, comes a Nendoroid of one of Nekoma High School Volleyball Club’s liberos known as the “Defense Commander”, Morisuke Yaku! He comes with three face plates including a reliable standard face, a serious expression as well as a concerned smile based on when he was talking about his juniors with Karasuno High School’s Sugawara.

The Nendoroid allows you to recreate a number of memorable scenes from the series and also comes with a volleyball as well as a special base made in the image of a volleyball court. Be sure to display him in all sorts of poses together with the rest of his team!

“It’s a huge thing to play as a libero for a team know as ‘Defensive Nekoma’.”

The reliable libero for Team Nekoma, with his short eyebrows and short hair! His iconic uniform has also been faithfully converted to Nendoroid size! You can easily pose him defending for the team and showing off his receiving skills! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Nendoroid Lev Haiba! 

From the popular volleyball manga series with an equally popular anime, ‘Haikyu!!’, comes a Nendoroid of one of Nekoma High School Volleyball Club’s middle blockers and the self-declared ace for the team, Lev Haiba! He comes with three face places including a standard expression filled with confidence, a smiling face as well as the worried expression he had during special training.

Optional parts include a volleyball and a special base made in the image of a volleyball court, as well as an arm part swinging down like a whip allowing for all sorts of poses on the court, and he also comes with his favorite food, inari sushi! All sorts of parts to display the confident Lev by your side in all sorts of different situations!

“So if we beat them, we’ll be the best in Japan?!”

His neat and tidy silver hair, lovely green eyes and confident look have all been kept in Nendoroid form! Just like Nendoroid Kei Tsukishima he is a little bit taller than other Nendoroids. He also comes with a special translucent part to recreate his “whip-like” spike! ♥

◆ Smiling Face ◆

A lovely smile perfect for when he has his favorite food, which is also included with the Nendoroid! A plate with three inari sushi as well as some chopsticks! The very top inari sushi can also be removed and placed elsewhere! ♫

It can even be used on the hand that normally holds the volleyball to display him holding it with his hand!

◆ Worried Expression ◆ 

Lev is known as the self-proclaimed ace of his team, but in actual fact there are quite a lot of basic skills he may be a little lacking on. He includes this rather worried expression for when things don’t quite go as expected! (/ω＼)

Nendoroid Conan Edogawa (Detective Conan)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Conan Edogawa!

From the popular anime series “Detective Conan” comes a Nendoroid of the main character, Conan Edogawa! He comes with three face plates including a confident standard expression, a serious expression for when he is closing in on the criminal as well as a dumbfounded expression for when those around him can’t quite keep up. The Nendoroid comes complete with his turbo engine skateboard and voice-changing bowtie to allow fans to display him solving all sorts of cases!

 “Only one truth prevails!”

From the series that has continued for many years and accumulated fans of all ages, “Detective Conan” comes a Nendoroid of the detective with the body of a child but the brain of an adult – Conan Edogawa!

Conan-kun’s iconic hairstyle, classic blue outfit and glasses have all been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

▲ The little bit of hair sticking out at his neck is also included!

By the way, his glasses can also be removed for a different appearance! ☆

▲ You can enjoy this rather rare look whenever you like with the Nendoroid!♪

Of course the Nendoroid also comes with a selection of his detective tools, including the classic voice-changing bowtie! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Along with the standard version on his outfit, a slightly larger version is also included allowing you to display him holding and making use of the device! He also comes with bent leg parts to display him kneeling down as he hides to reveal his theory with someone else’s voice! (/・ω＼)

He comes with a total of three face plates, the first of which is the standard expression above, and the second is of course…

“Only one truth prevails!“

A serious expression to capture his famous line as he points out the truth!!! The sharp looking gaze matches up with his pointing hand and shouting mouth to easily display him as if he was pointing out the criminal!ヽ(●´Д｀●)ﾉ

He also comes with his turbo engine skateboard which he can even ride! Together with this expression it makes it look like Conan is chasing after the criminal!

Also take note of his right leg here! (∩・∀・)∩

A special bent leg part is included in order to display him putting force into riding the skateboard as fast of possible! ♪

In other words, even in Nendoroid size you can enjoy a cool action pose as Conan dashes off on his turbo engine skateboard!

Moving onto his third face plate…

A dumbfounded expression!

The perfect expression to show Conan’s personality when those around him can’t quite keep up! This expression will make it so easy to create all sorts of stories in figure form!!

The expression also works well with the voice-changing bowtie!


▲ I’m fairly certain I’ve seen this scene in the anime many times! ♡

I was actually the head planner for this Nendoroid, and as it was a figure from a series that I have been enjoying ever since primary school it felt very special to work on it!! I hope everyone enjoys him in their collection as much as I enjoyed working on him!!

Nendoroid Cocoa (Is the Order a Rabbit??)

Today’s Main Feature!

WonFes is just around the corner and the office is really starting to bustle with excitement as everyone gets ready for the big day!

But along with the preparations various products are also being announced, including today’s main feature that is up for preorder from today…

Nendoroid Cocoa!

From the popular anime “Is the Order a Rabbit??” comes a Nendoroid of the Rabbit House café’s employee, Cocoa! She comes with three face plates including a cheerful standard face, a smiling face with closed eyes as well as a determined expression beaming with confidence.

Optional accessories include café’s items such as a coffee cup and tray, as well as the rabbit Tippy and a digital camera. The Nendoroid also includes the dog ears and tail that featured in the series! Be sure to display her together with Nendoroid Chino who is being rereleased at the same time! From the popular anime series that will make anyone feel all warm and happy inside, Is the Order a Rabbit?? comes an adorable Nendoroid of Cocoa!

Nendoroid Yuri Plisetsky (YURI!!! On ICE)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the long-awaited next addition to the YURI!!! On ICE Nendoroid series…

Nendoroid Yuri Plisetsky!

From the anime series “YURI!!! on ICE” comes a Nendoroid of the “Russian Fairy”, Yuri Plisetsky! He comes with three face plates including a standard sullen face, the agape face he showed during the short program as well as an excited expression.

You can pose him in all sorts of scenes in the rink, and he also comes with a cat ear Alice band and a katsudon pirozhki allowing for more everyday scenes as well. Be sure to add the Ice Tiger of Russia to your collection and enjoy all sorts of different situations in cute Nendoroid size!

“There are no gold medals for pigs to feed on!!”

From the popular anime series that has a movie in the works, “YURI!!! on ICE” comes a Nendoroid of the Russian Fairy, Yuri Plisetsky!! The previous Nendoroids from the series so far can be found below! (´□｀｡)

An excited expression!

Yuri is known for his cool and composed attitude, but the fact that he sometimes comes out with expressions like this more suited to his age is just one of the cute things about him! (*´꒳`*)

Plus in his hands he holds a pirozhki! The detail on it is rather amazing, and if you look on the inside…

Katsudon!!!

In other words, he comes complete with a katsudon pirozhki! (∩・∀・)∩

Nendoroid Uguisumaru (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Hello everyone! Long time no see! Chan-shuu from Good Smile Company’s planning team here! (@gscs_hirase)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this item currently up for preorder…
Nendoroid Uguisumaru!

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Bizen sword, Uguisumaru! He comes with three face plates including a standard face, a combat face as well as a smiling expression based on his “sometimes it’s good to take it easy” line from the game.

His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing you to recreate various scenes from the game, and he also comes with parts that were seen in the 1st anniversary celebration illustration. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“Okanehira thinks too much of the ‘Five Great Swords’ title.”

A Nendoroid of the the Bizen sword, Uguisumaru and the 19th Nendoroid to join the Touken Ranbu series!! We’re almost at the big number 20!

▼ First up, a look at his hair!

You may notice that the hair over his right eye actually makes use of slightly translucent parts! It’s a little hard to see in the light, but if we darken the room and shine a light on him…

You can see the bottom of the hair has a slightly see-through look to it and you can just make out the skin color beneath the hair! This is in order to capture the original illustration as faithfully as possible!

▼ Next a look at his outfit!

The green bracer and mostly black outfit give him a very stylish look! The white belt also creates a lovely contrast! The crest on his chest is rather tiny but still has such amazing detail!

Uguisumaru’s iconic spiky hair looks great from the back as well, with each of the tufts of hair carefully sculpted and positioned! This was actually one of the most difficult parts to get right on the Nendoroid! (´∀｀；)

The sword is sheathed on his hips and includes semi-glossy gold parts which add a nice touch to the black and matches with his outfit nicely! ♪

▼ Switch to a Combat Pose!

He comes with a combat expression with clenched teeth and a sharp gaze, and he can also be posed with his sword drawn and held in his left hand! ♪

Here I attempted to pose him in the moment before he switches from single-handed to two-handed wielding! From this angle you can see that his right eye is actually closed for this expression! Even though it is covered by his hair the entire expression is always faithfully included! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Rem: Birthday Lingerie Ver. (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this figure from KADOKAWA…
Rem: Birthday Lingerie Ver.!

From the popular anime series ‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the younger of the twin maid sisters, Rem! The figure is based on the illustration drawn by Shinichirou Otsuka for Rem’s birthday event that took place in February 2017. The gentle smile on her face and the look in her eyes makes it seem like it’s just you and her, ready to enjoy some time together for her birthday.

Her babydoll lingerie is made using translucent parts for a faithful rendition of the original illustration. The nanobead cushion she is seated on is included with the figure, with an original design based on her hair accessories. It can be used as a display base for a more unique display.

“I’ll always be by your side, whenever you need me…”

Those gentle eyes and smile looking up from her sitting pose… you can’t help but feel charmed by her sweet appearance! The innocent smile combined with the sexy pink lingerie creates a lovely contrast that makes the figure all the more appealing!

Let’s take a look from the back, where you can get a lovely look at the bumps of her shoulder blades which are just calling out to be touched!

The lingerie makes use of semi-transparent parts allowing you to make out the shape of her body on the other side of the fabric! ♪

The very front portion of her hair also has a slightly translucent look to it to capture the same effect from the original illustration by Shinichirou Otsuka!

At first it might just look like she is sitting while holding her knees, but the special thing about this pose is the way she has her heels up off the floor in a tip-toe pose!!

Not only does this pose mean that she is pulling the muscles tighter for a better look at her legs and feet, but it also matches up with the blush on her face to bring out that cute embarrassed look!

The best thing is you can enjoy her from any angle you please!

The figure has been sculpted in amazing detail all around, so be sure to take a look from all the angles that were never visible on the original illustration! ♡

Shigure: Casual Ver. (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

The office has really started to get restless with all the WonFes preparations! Just over a week until the big day!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Shigure: Casual Ver.!

From the popular browser game “Kantai Collection -KanColle-” comes a 1/7th scale figure of the second Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, Shigure, wearing a casual outfit. The figure is based on an illustration found on a poster included in the November 2016 edition of NYANTYPE Magazine, with the lower half of the figure that was never visible on the illustration sculpted with an original interpretation.

The base of the figure has a pile of autumn leaves by her feet to bring out a late autumn atmosphere as Shigure sits on a wooden fence ready to enjoy her day off from the fleet. Be sure to enjoy her company in your collection!

“Admiral, it’s starting to get a little cold out, isn’t it? I’ll be alright.”

A figure based on an illustration on a poster included with the November 2016 edition of NYANTYPE Magazine, including some original interpretation of the lower half of the figure! This was a figure made mostly due to the fact that the planner for the figure had fallen in love with the original illustration! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

While the figure does have a bit of a boyish appearance, the ladylike elements of Shigure’s body and her casual outfit have all been faithfully preserved! Plus just look at the details put into the creases on her outfit! They look amazing!

The sculpt of the outfit around her hips captures how the outfit fits to her body so well… plus also take note of the slightly crumpled look of the shirt at the be upper arms!!

The frills at the bottom of her vest and the pleats of her skirt are also stunning, and all come together to make such a beautiful wardrobe!!

She is posed leaning against a wooden fence with one leg up in a rather relaxed looking pose, and those bare legs are just the right thickness – not too thin, but just the right size to keep that soft and touchable looking appearance! The dent formed at the back of her knee has also been sculpted so perfectly you can’t help but want to slide your finger along it!

Next let’s take a look at her hair and facial expression! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

First of all note the iconic tied up hair over her shoulder! Her hair also looks a lot more ruffled than normal, further enhancing the casual look of the figure! ♪

Plus that cute open mouth!

It’s as if she was standing there waiting for her Admiral to arrive, and just as she saw him she inadvertently said “Ah”! (In my mind the story continues with the Admiral not noticing Shigure and wandering around looking for her for awhile)

The figure really does capture the scene so nicely, telling a whole story with just the one single figure!! Also take note of the details of the various accessories and details around her! For instance the camera on a strap around her neck….

And even the piles of Autumn leaves that set the season for the figure!

Be sure to take a nice close look at all the details once she joins your collection! ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ

There are even details to note on the painting side of things! Even the leaves at the bottom – while mostly yellow – feature some shade of green on them, adding an extra little bit of realistic detail to the figure! ♪

If you match the angle with her gaze you get a nice upward glance peeking up over the glasses, and the higher angle also captures the details of the original illustration beautifully – note the slight slopes around her chest as well as the way the clothes distort to match them!

Truly a figure that can be enjoyed from all sorts of different angles! Be sure to find your personal favorite once she joins your collection!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

I really can’t function in the heat of summer, and thus always rely on air con and fans. I can’t believe it’s still going to get even hotter than it currently is!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at this product from TOMYTEC that is currently up for preorder…
figma Rikka Shiina!

From TOMYTEC’s ‘Little Armory’ 1/12th scale weapon model series comes a figma of one of the series characters – the elite tactical girl’s school member, Rikka Shiina!
· The smooth yet posable figma joints allow you to act out a variety of different scenes.
· A flexible plastic is used in specific areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
· She makes use of drawer joints in her shoulders allowing her to easily wield the ‘Little Armory’ weapons.
· A plastic model runner kit for a Special Forces Carbine Rifle is included. The model is limited to the figma release and includes a holographic sight, muzzle booster, laser module, light, dual switch and foregrip as optional parts to attach to the weapon.
· She comes with both a standard expression and a more serious expression for combat scenes.
· Optional parts include an alternate skirt to pose her crouching, as well as a handgun with mounted light that can be holstered, and a transceiver.
· The background sheet of the product comes with two different target practice targets that can be cut out and displayed with her as a training ground.
· The package includes an original illustration by illustrator Haruaki Fuyuno.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

For those who are unaware, the Little Armory series is a set of 1/12th scale plastic model kits of various weapons that can be put together and displayed with your favorite characters! They are just the right size for figma figures! You can find a listing of the various products in the series here!

But getting back to the figma! Just like the previously released figma Miyo Asato she comes with a special alternate skirt part that allows for crouching poses ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

The parts are quite small, but I am told it is still made very quite easy even for beginners to put together!

The basic gun itself can be put together without any adhesive, but the more intricate parts to require some gluing!

The best thing is you can use combine her with the other items in the Little Armory series and really bring out the feel of the universe behind the series! ♪

Nendoroid Alphonse Elric (FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST)

Today’s Main Feature!!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the younger of the Elric brothers…
Nendoroid Alphonse Elric!

From the popular “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST” series comes a Nendoroid of the kind-hearted Alphonse Elric! The metallic appearance of the suit of armor that harbours his soul has been carefully sculpted and fitted with joints for all sorts of different display possibilities. Al comes with three different face plates including a standard face plate with articulated eyes that can look in different directions, as well as both flustered and relaxed chibi-style expressions.

As he is also known as a cat-lover, the Nendoroid comes complete with two different cats to display around him, and the chest plate of his armor can also be removed to display the cat laying inside his armor! Be sure to display him with the previously announced Nendoroid Edward Elric and enjoy the company of the Elric brothers in your collection!

“Brother!”

From FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST comes a Nendoroid of Edward Elrics younger brother, the “Armored Alchemist” Alphonse Elric! The heavy looking metallic body has been preserved perfectly, and has been painted with a slightly blue tint based on the coloring from the anime series! ♪

At first glance it may not really look like a Nendoroid, but the figure makes use of numerous Nendoroid joints and of course a Nendoroid stand… and is therefore a Nendoroid!! The parts of the figure are much larger than a standard Nendoroid making the arms and legs so fun and easy to move around!

The eyes are articulated from the inside of the head allowing you to change the direction he is looking in! ε=(｡・д・｡)

In addition, the head parts are swapped out by completely removing the head, which also of course means you can pose him with no head whatsoever!

Note that the Blood Sigil drawn at the back is also included!!

Even though this part is normally covered up with the head parts, it was an important enough aspect to the story to ensure it was included on the Nendoroid!!

Anyway, let’s take a look at his other head parts! Along with the standard expression seen above, he also comes with a flustered chibi expression for when his brother is shouting at him!!

As well as a relaxed chibi expression for when he is surrounded by his beloved kitties!! (灬ºｗº灬)

▲ The leg joints have a wide range allowing him to be seated like this!

The two adorable kitties are also included to display beside him! ♪

They are so adorable!!! Just look at those cute little faces!!!!

Plus…

You can even pose a cat inside his armor!!

The above photo just captures Al so perfectly!! The front plate of the armor can be removed and have a cat or anything else placed inside for a rather interesting display option! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

The Nendoroid also stands 12cm in height making it slightly larger than most standard Nendoroids to bring out the huge suit of armor appearance even more effectively!

The number of fun posing ideas between these two is probably endless, but here is a little animated gif I made showing the two of them trying to high five! ☆

Al all by himself is already an absolutely incredible Nendoroid, but posing him together with his older brother really brings out the atmosphere of the series and allows you to recreate even more scenes from the series… as well as all sorts of original scenes! (ﾉ｡･ω･)人(･ω･｡)ﾉ
