I really need to start dressing for the autumn weather soon! Don’t want to get caught out in the cold with too few layers!

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Envy

“You humans don’t make any sense to me. You throw away your lives for nothing.”

A member of the Ouroboros, representing one of the seven deadly sins of the same name, Envy has arrived as an adorable Nendoroid!

Even his unique hairstyle has been carefully recreated in Nendoroid form! The hair has been painstakingly sculpted to look great and not get in the way when you’re playing with him! ★

▲His costume has been accurately recreated from the back too!

The Ouroboros mark on his left leg is there as well! ヾ(´∀｀*人*´∀｀)ﾉ”

▲Even the wrinkles in his costume have been carefully sculpted.♪

And just look at those abs!

The muscles around his waist have been expertly sculpted with great attention to detail!

They might be a bit hard to see just in pictures, so be sure to feel them when you take him home!

As for face plates, in addition to his determined smiling expression shown above, a brutal, yet cunning battle expression is also included! ٩( ᐛ )و

With the included effect parts you can easily recreate cool battle scenes!

Next up…!

Take a look at his left hand! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

A bit different from his other hand parts, his fingers are transforming to a more pointed shape!

The palm of his hand also appears a bit larger than usual here, really giving a sense of power, even in his Nendoroid form! ★

By the way, his third and final face plate is of his dumbfounded expression! (｡･ω･)ﾉ

▲You can almost hear his voice just looking at this expression…!

Since this expression has a bit more of a chibi feeling, it looks great paired like this…

▲I could watch these two argue forever. ( ˘ω˘)

Finally…!

Envy’s true form is included as well! Everything from his little legs to his mouth is clearly sculpted. ☆

April! Somehow today feels like a brand new start! Today we have a bunch of new graduates joining the GSC ranks, and we also just announced the start of a brand new company, Good Smile Arts Shanghai, Inc., hosting the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP IN Kurayoshi Figure Museum and also taking part in Wonder Festival 2018 Shanghai! A whole bunch of new things to look forward to right from the start of the month! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at….
Nendoroid Riza Hawkeye!

“I pull the trigger of my own will. To defend those I love.”

Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye is joining the Nendoroid series, together with her adorable puppy, Black Hayate!

Her iconic uniform has been captured in careful detail together with the way her hair has been tied up!

▲ Black Hayate looks so cute from the back!

The expert sharpshooter also comes with two pistols and a rifle in order to display her in combat scenes!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Here she is displayed with Nendoroid Roy Mustang who is scheduled to be released later this month!! ♪

▲ You can feel the tension in the air! ( ´>ω<`)

She also comes with special alternate hand parts, together with specially articulated arms which allow her to be posed in her classic saluting pose!

▲ Even as a Nendoroid she has such a dependable – and beautiful – appearance!

She comes with three face plates, the first of which is the standard expression seen above! The second is a much more gentle smile, perfect for use with Black Hayate! ♪

As you can see here she can even be posed holding her adorable puppy for a very cute scene! You can also see that Black Hayate’s head and font paws are articulated for various different poses!

She can also be posed smiling with the Colonel Roy Mustang for a rather cute two-shot!

Her third face plate is a dumbfounded expression! (っ’ω’)っ))

The perfect expression to pose her sighing at the occasional incompetence of the Colonel, but it can also be used for all sorts of other situations!! ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

Recently whenever it rains I forget my umbrella and end up buying a cheap vinyl umbrella! I really need to start paying more attention to the weather forecasts! (˚ ˃̣̣̥ω˂̣̣̥ )

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Roy Mustang!!

“I am the Flame Alchemist. You’d best not forget it.”

The ambitious State Alchemist that can be quite the womanizer but also cares deeply for his comrades, the Flame Alchemist Roy Mustang is joining the Nendoroids! The casual-looking straight hair and confident smile have been captured perfectly for fans to enjoy the colonel in their collections!

This is the 3rd Nendoroid from FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST so far!

But lets get back to today’s main feature! The blue uniform of the Amestris army has been shrunk down to Nendoroid size with lovely attention to detail!

You can even see there is a tiny transmutation circle on his glove!

Of course he also comes with flame alchemy effect parts to display him in his signature finger snapping pose!

▲ The flames are sculpted to curl around his arm! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

▲The translucent yellow-red gradient looks beautiful!

The jacket on his shoulders can also be removed like so! ♪

Simply match the parts with whatever situation you are trying to create! ♡

In addition, he also comes with a fiery circle flame effect part which can be placed at his feet to bring out his element even more! (∩・∀・)∩

The second face plate included is this serious expression which is ideal for posing him in more serious combat scenes!

The confident smile and this composed expression capture two very different sides of his personality so nicely! He can also be posed saluting, like so…

Even though the face plate is the same as above, the situation makes the expression look even more formal!

The furrowed brow captures his compressed emotions so perfectly! Anyway, let’s move onto his third face plate which has a much more playful feel to it… a condescending smile!

Today’s Main Feature!!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the younger of the Elric brothers…
Nendoroid Alphonse Elric!

“Brother!”

From FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST comes a Nendoroid of Edward Elrics younger brother, the “Armored Alchemist” Alphonse Elric! The heavy looking metallic body has been preserved perfectly, and has been painted with a slightly blue tint based on the coloring from the anime series! ♪

At first glance it may not really look like a Nendoroid, but the figure makes use of numerous Nendoroid joints and of course a Nendoroid stand… and is therefore a Nendoroid!! The parts of the figure are much larger than a standard Nendoroid making the arms and legs so fun and easy to move around!

The eyes are articulated from the inside of the head allowing you to change the direction he is looking in! ε=(｡・д・｡)

In addition, the head parts are swapped out by completely removing the head, which also of course means you can pose him with no head whatsoever!

Note that the Blood Sigil drawn at the back is also included!!

Even though this part is normally covered up with the head parts, it was an important enough aspect to the story to ensure it was included on the Nendoroid!!

Anyway, let’s take a look at his other head parts! Along with the standard expression seen above, he also comes with a flustered chibi expression for when his brother is shouting at him!!

As well as a relaxed chibi expression for when he is surrounded by his beloved kitties!! (灬ºｗº灬)

▲ The leg joints have a wide range allowing him to be seated like this!

The two adorable kitties are also included to display beside him! ♪

They are so adorable!!! Just look at those cute little faces!!!!

Plus…

You can even pose a cat inside his armor!!

The above photo just captures Al so perfectly!! The front plate of the armor can be removed and have a cat or anything else placed inside for a rather interesting display option! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

The Nendoroid also stands 12cm in height making it slightly larger than most standard Nendoroids to bring out the huge suit of armor appearance even more effectively!

The number of fun posing ideas between these two is probably endless, but here is a little animated gif I made showing the two of them trying to high five! ☆

Al all by himself is already an absolutely incredible Nendoroid, but posing him together with his older brother really brings out the atmosphere of the series and allows you to recreate even more scenes from the series… as well as all sorts of original scenes! (ﾉ｡･ω･)人(･ω･｡)ﾉ

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the much-awaited…
Nendoroid Edward Elric!★

“I’ll show you there’s no comparison between us!”

The youngest State Alchemist in history that became known as the “Fullmetal Alchemist”, Edward Elric is joining the Nendoroids! His fluttering red cape, blond ponytail and confident smile have all been captured in lovely detail! He also comes with alchemy effect parts that connect to his arms to display him just before transmuting something! ★

This was one of the items voted for during the Nendoroid 10th Anniversary Next Nendoroid Survey! Thanks again to everyone who voted!!

Along with the determined smile above, he also comes with two other face plates to bring out different sides of his personality! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

– Serious Expression –

He looks much more focused with this expression, with a tightly closed mouth showing his tougher side as he stands ready for combat! His iconic braided hair is connected with a joint allowing you to move it around to better match various poses!

He is so small and cute… which leads me onto the next face plate!

– Angry Expression –

“WHO ARE YOU CALLING SMALL?!“

An expression that just had to be included with Ed! It’s amazing how well this expression translated into Nendoroid form!! ♡

But anyway, let’s move on to the included accessories! First up, he comes with an alternate arm part that reveals his automail arm!

The torn appearance of his jacket as well as the mechanical design of the arm have been sculpted in beautiful detail! ★

But that’s not the only alternate arm part he comes with!

“Didn’t I tell you? There is no comparison.“

He also comes with an interchangeable arm where his arm has been transmuted into a blade to fight with! (*´∀｀)ノ

The automail parts all make use of a metallic paint that bring out that heavy, metallic appearance so effectively! But we’re still not done yet, Ed also comes with parts to show off one of his signature moves…

Crouching Parts + Half-Transmuted Wall!

Note that the bottom of the wall is made with translucent parts to bring out that transmutation effect that really captures the atmosphere of the series! ☆

This is how the pose looks from the side!

It’s more of a half-kneeling pose – the pose that he often took just after clapping his hands together like in the pose from earlier! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

The pose couldn’t be recreated with just standard Nendoroid joints but it was too important not to include, so an entirely separate lower body part and legs are included to pose him this

You can use this same body part and pose him not touching the ground to display him like this…

Ed having a temper tantrum after someone has mistaken his brother for him or called him short!! When the kneeling pose is placed up like this it looks like he is jumping around and kicking in the air! It suits the angry expression so perfectly!!

As you can see you can enjoy all sorts of different sides of the Fullmetal Alchemist with the various included parts and face plates – be sure to add the cute little shorty Nendoroid to your collection!
