I feel like going to visit Kyoto again… I need to go at least once more before the end of the year! Today I’m going to be taking a look at the…
1/8th Scale Hizamaru!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Hizamaru based on his standard standing illustration from the game. His slim, fit build, powerful looking stance and iconic hair style have all been captured as faithfully as possible in figure form. The figure can be enjoyed from any angle you please and is filled with details that bring out Hizamaru’s charm. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“I am Hizamaru, a treasure of the Minamoto family. Have you seen my brother around?”

The sword known as a priceless treasure to the Minamoto family, Hizamaru, has been transformed into a scale figure! His asymmetrical light green hair, stylish outfit and elegant appearance has all been captured so perfectly!!

The back of the figure also looks amazing!

The tight fitting outfit shows off his fit and slim body!

You’ll notice there are also a couple of creases at the bottom of his shirt for a little bot of realism, but if you look a little higher up you’ll notice there are little to no creases up higher as he holds out his chest in confidence! It also brings out his fit physique! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

The sword he holds in his left hand is attached to his side with metal fixtures that are so very intricate!

Areas like this you don’t normally notice when looking at him from the front, but even so the details of the metal parts and the ties have been so beautifully sculpted! Be sure to take a look all over the figure once he joins your collection! (∩・∀・)∩

The accessories of his outfit on his chest and around his shoulders have also been included in lovely detail! ★

▲ The different layers of his outfit, the gradient on the tassel… so much to see!

The ties of his armor on the back of his legs and even the fasteners of his boots all look amazing!

▲ The little bows and the creases in his pants! So intricate! (´□｀｡)

His hairstyle is rather unique in the way it flows out to the sides, but the sculpt has carefully taken this into account to ensure that no matter what angle you look from the flow of his hair still looks nice and natural! ♪

Speaking of his hair, the original illustration had the front section of his hair is see-through, and this has been captured on the figure with the use of translucent parts…

However, in order to keep the figure from looking too strange the transparency has been kept to a lower degree than on the illustration, so you can’t quite make out his entire right eye through the hair. (/ω＼)

That said, if you change the angle you will see that the eye has still been faithfully included on the design! If you want to see both his eyes simply find an angle that allows it!

▲ I personally quite like looking up at him from a lower angle like this!

Also note the way that each and every one of his fingers has been sculpted with a different nuance that make them look so strong and manly! The fingers on the Touken Ranbu figures always look so amazing to me!

He really is one of those figures that really changes depending on the angle you choose to look from, so I hope that everyone will enjoy looking for the angle they like best once he arrives in their collection! Not to mention that you can slide your finger along all these beautiful details for yourself!!

I focus pretty much all of my fashion sense into my fingernails! I wonder how I should do them up next time…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Karen Hojo!

From the popular anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a Nendoroid of the Triad Primus member, Karen Hojo! She is posed wearing her school uniform and comes with three expressions including a gentle smiling expression, a composed yet cold glaring expression as well as an feverish expression with a forced smile to show she won’t give up! Her school bag is also included as an optional part.

Be sure to display her with the previously released Nendoroid Rin Shibuya and the upcoming Nendoroid Nao Kamiya to complete the Triad Primus group in Nendoroid form!

Ooooooohhh!! (/ω＼)

The rather aloof modern day high school student and idol, Karen Hojo is joining the Nendoroids! You can see the nice detail on her outfit here – the loose pink ribbon, the shining necklace, chequered skirt and even her spinny twintails have all been beautifully crafted!

Even the jagged parting lines of her hair have been faithfully included! ♪

△  The hair connected by ball joints allowing for different nuances! ☆

As with all the previous Nendoroid from ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’, she also comes with her school bag!

But anyway, let’s get back to Karen!!

Along with the standard expression above, she also comes with two alternate expressions to enjoy! The first of which is…

A Glaring Expression!

Those eyes look so cold…!

This expression is of course made more in the image of how Karen was at the start of the series! Even though she has a rather cold glare on her face she still looks beautiful to me!! This must be what they mean by a cool beauty! (/ω＼)

Moving onto her third expression which is quite a jump from the glare, we have a feverish expression with a bit of a forced smile showing her slightly weaker constitution! (´□｀｡)

This expression featured in the game while she was dressed in her pyjamas! The cute smile would make anyone want to look after her until she gets well!!

Plus the expression can also be used as more of an unsure, embarrassed expression as well which will be fun for some original situations! ♪

From the first movie in the new Star Wars trilogy, ‘Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens’ comes a Nendoroid of the First Order Stormtrooper! Even in Nendoroid form the details of the armor have all been kept intact ensuring the Nendoroid is not only cute, but also looks impressive! The Nendoroid is also fully articulated allowing for all sorts of fun poses!

Ever since around the start of Autumn this year I have become quite addicted to chikuwa! The combination of the texture and taste is just perfect!! Nom nom nom!! (๑´ㅂ`๑)

Today I’ll be taking a look at two items!

Starting off with a figure from the Walking Dead…

Rick Grimes!

From the popular TV series that took the world by storm in 2010, ‘The Walking Dead’ comes a figure of the main character Rick Grimes based on his appearance in season five! The man who will make the most difficult of decisions to protect his friends and family from the Walkers has been made into an incredibly realistic 1/6th scale articulated figure!The figure stands approximately 30.5cm in height and features clothes made with real fabric, and a coat from synthetic leather. The outfit also has a slightly damaged look that shows some of the hardships he has been through since the Walkers arrived. Rick’s signature red handled machete, AKM Assault Rifle and Colt Python .357 revolver are all included as weapons, and he also comes with hand parts to hold each of them.

The reliable Sheriff Deputy in a ruined world!

From ‘The Walking Dead’, the post-apocalyptic zombie series where humans fight to survive against the ‘Walkers’ that have overrun the world, comes a figure of Rick Grimes played by Andrew Lincoln in the TV series!

His clothes are even made with real fabric for an amazingly realistic appearance!

The painful looking scar on his forehead, the texture of his skin and the hair from his moustache all the way to his head… everything is so detailed! (´□｀｡)

Not to mention the details on his boots…!

△ Even though the boots are normally covered by his jeans…! ♡

He also comes with a couple of items to help with his survival including the revolver above as well as this machete…

Plus an AKM Assault Rifle! (・∀・)

You can also holster the revolver at his hips when not in use! All these items plus the articulation allows for all sorts of different poses from the series!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Plus there is one more thing I want to point out!!

Revolver Ammunition!!

This can be found in the little pouches around his hips!! It’s so tiny!! You can’t actually place it in the revolver or anything, but the fact that a special pocket is included to hold it is more than enough for me! threezero really takes things as close to reality as possible!! (/ω＼)

Not to mention the texture and dirty look of his outfit!!

Next up I’ll be taking a look at a figure from the 3DCG anime RWBY…

Blake Belladonna!★

From the American animated web series by Rooster Teeth Productions, ‘RWBY’ comes a 1/6th scale action figure of the ‘Black’, Blake Belladonna! The show is set in the fictional world of Remnant, which is filled with supernatural forces. The series focuses on Team RWBY – a team of four girls which consists of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long.Blake is a rather silent character with physical prowess that gives her a highly acrobatic fighting style. Her signature weapon is the Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe (VBCS) known as ‘Gambol Shroud’ which can transform between a chain-sickle, a pistol and a katana sword. The figure stands approximately 32cm in height, with an outfit made from real fabric. The paintwork is specially done to recreate the cell-shaded animation used in the series. ‘Gambol Shroud’ is included and can be displayed in its various different forms – an extended blade and pistol blade as well as a chain are all included. The black ribbon in her hair can be attached and removed and also features cat-ears behind it. She comes with three kinds of interchangeable hands including relaxed hands, clenched fists and hands for holding her weapons.

The cute and composed beast girl!

The American animated web series by Rooster Teeth Productions, ‘RWBY’  which had a Japanese dub version aired in theatres for 2 weeks this month! From that popular series comes an action figure of one of the RWBY team members, Blake Belladonna! ♥︎

*Photos taken here are of a sample model that did not include the ribbon on Gambol Shroud, but the ‘ribbon’ is included and can be seen on the product page photos!

Blake Belladonna also makes use of clothes made from real fabric, and the skin is painted to recreate the appearance of the 3DCG animation! This is actually the third figure in the series, following on from these two! ♪

But anyway, let’s get back to Blake Belladonna! Her weapon of choice, the one-handed sword Gambol Shroud is included!

Parts to carry it on her back are also included!

Plus just like in the series, it can be split into two parts…

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Kagamine Rin: Tony Ver.!☆

Following on from the previously released Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka comes a 1/7th scale figure of Kagamine Rin based on the illustration of her by popular illustrator Tony!The unique feeling of Tony’s illustrations has been faithfully preserved in figure form through gentle colors and translucent parts, all sculpted in intricate detail for fans to enjoy. Careful attention has been given to all aspects of the figure, including the unique appearance of her blond hair and the high-quality look of her shirt through a shiny pearl paint. Enjoy the energetic charm of this adorable Kagamine Rin in your collection!

Rin-chan!! (´□｀｡)

The female side of the ‘powerful and charming’ Vocaloid twins – Kagamine Rin has been sculpted in Tony illustration style!! The combination of light colors, translucent parts and pearl paintwork really captures the beauty of Tony’s illustrations in figure form!! Such lovely detail as well!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

I wouldn’t be surprised if the figure started moving right before my eyes! She looks so alive and ready to start performing – it definitely matches up with her lively personality and voice!!

This is how she looks from the back!

Standing on her tip toes to reach as far up as possible… and look at those leg covers, the back of her knees, those lovely thighs, the large sleeve holes on her top showing off her smooth skin… not to mention her lovely spiked blond hair and the ribbon to top it all off!

Everything that makes Rin so cute has been faithfully included!! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

The use of semi-transparent parts and pearl paintwork on the hair also gives it an amazing level of detail! ♡

△ A nice rendition of  Tony’s unique touch! ♪

In her hand she holds a mike, ready to let the world hear her voice!

You can also see even her nails are painted to match her image color! Not only that but the shape of the fingers and hand looks fantastic! ☆

By the way, this is actually the third Vocaloid figure made by Max Factory based on Tony’s artwork! The past two were released quite awhile back!

The Tony figures really have such a unique feel to them, just like his illustrations! ♡ Anyway, let’s get back to Rin-chan! (●´ω｀●)

She looks like she is in the middle of an amazing stage thanks to the energetic pose on one leg with one arm up in the air!!  The way the outfit and body are sculpted to match up with the movement is something that people often overlook on figures, but you can really see it beautifully on this figure! Take a closer look at the creases all over her outfit, or…

The sailor collar and belt accessory!

How about the way her top is pulled up a bit due to her raised arm! 

Or the fluttering of the ribbon on her chest!


△ The bunched-up feel of the leg covers are also great!

The creases in her shorts are also amazing, and the contrast between the black shorts and the lovely pale skin of her stomach and thighs is beautiful!!

Her facial expression keeps that lively feeling of the figure, but it also has a bit of a mature, almost sultry charm to it! (/ω＼)


△ You happened to meet eyes with her during the performance!

The figure is really so fascinating for me to look at that it’s hard to put into words!! 

The figure has been sculpted by Max Factory’s Chieri-san, the same sculptor behind the previous two figures in the series!! The whole figure is best described as overflowing with life… I really wish you could come and see the real thing for yourselves!! ♡

Her base is made in the shape of some piano keys!

△ Rin-chan stands on the one key that is down! ★

Her twin’s figure comes with a similar base, and the two of them can be connected together like so!

Even the base alone is amazing!!

It really brings out the musical world of the Vocaloids! ♡
It also really makes me want to display them together!! (*´Д｀)=з

Nendoroid Yui Funami

When I was in university I lived alone! Living alone really teaches you the power of the microwave!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Yui Funami!☆

From the anime series ‘Yuru Yuri San Hai!’ comes a Nendoroid of the boyish member of the Amusement Club known for her sharp retorts, Yui Funami! She comes with three different expressions including her standard smiling expression, an unimpressed expression to gently threaten Kyoko’s reckless side as well as an embarrassed expression that shows she can be a little bashful.

Optional parts include a book to allow her to sit back and enjoy a peaceful read, a cushion for her to hug whenever she is feeling embarrassed or scared as well as some long-sleeved parts allowing for all sorts of different scenes from the series. She also comes with special hand parts that allow you to display her holding hands with the previously released Nendoroid Kyoko Toshino! Be sure to display the two of them together!

Yui-senpai!! (●´ω｀●)

The calm and composed member of the Amusement Club Yui Funami is joining the Nendoroids! Her cute uniform, gentle eyes and a smile ready for a witty remark all look great in Nendoroid size! ♪

Her rather boyish short hair also looks lovely!! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

But anyway, getting back to Yui-senpai!

Let’s take a look at some of the optional parts she comes with! First off she comes with a book part that allows you to display her in relax made in the amusement club room!

△ Seems like a very interesting book!

Yui lives alone even as a middle school student, so I’m sure the Amusement Club is a very cosy place for her to relax with the company of the others! ♪

But if anyone interrupts her reading… she might not be too happy with them, which you can recreate using this rather unimpressed expression!

The area from her forehead down to her eyes is actually shaded a little darker to recreate that subtle angry look…! 

The best way to have her on display with the other members, so lets give it a try! (´Д｀；)


△ Kyoko’s rampage is about to come to an end…

Just like Kyoko she also comes with long-sleeve parts allowing you to display her in Winter mode as well! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

All this allows you to recreate various different sides of the boyish Yui… but she also sometimes has a rather cute, more girlish side as well!!

Which is why this expression is included!

In addition to the expression she also comes with parts hugging a cushion which just make the pose even more adorable!! (/ω＼)

Today’s Touken Ranbu Round-Up!

Whenever I had a sports day at school my lunch would always be inari-zushi! Now whenever I eat inari-zushi my body feels all powered up and ready to do anything! Plus they’re delicious!

Anyway, as of today Nendoroid Kogitsunemaru is up for preorder!

My name may mean ‘small fox’, but I’m by no means small.

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kogitsunemaru, the great sword. He has been faithfully sculpted based on the pose he takes when you receive him in the game, with his long, flowing hair carefully detailed to ensure that he can be proud of his beautiful ‘fur’.
His outfit opened out at the chest to reveal his impressive muscles has also been intricately sculpted down to the finest of details, and the his back which was never even visible on the original illustration is also filled with charm for fans to enjoy! My birthday is just one day away from Elichi’s! However I like dried plums…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

figma Eli Ayase! ♡

From the anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a figma of the character who keeps things in order in the μ’s group, Eli Ayase!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· Three expressions are included: A gentle smile, a slightly mischievous wink as well as an embarrassed expression!
· Optional parts include her school bag and the very memorable hamburger from the series.
· Just like the previously announced figma Honoka Kosaka, she also comes with two glow sticks of her image color.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

The smart, athletic student council president and μ’s member with an amazing body to boot! Now joining the figma series! She is the second μ’s member to join the series following on from figma Honoka Kosaka! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Max Factory announced all nine members will be joining the series, so the others are also on the way!

Honoka-chan, Elichi… who will be next…?!

By the way, the figma series features each of the characters wearing their Otonokizaka Academy Summer uniforms! This allows you to recreate all sorts of fun scenes from the show as well as create your own everyday scenes! (σ・∀・)σ

Optional parts include her school bag so you can pose her on the way to school! ♥︎

She also comes with a lovely winking expression that suits her so very well! I also really love the way the creases on her outfit look, as well as the fluttering look of her skirt! I can tell a lot of effort has gone into the sculpt of this uniform!

The more intricate details around her hips are amazing!

A white vest may be simple, but nobody can deny that it looks great! Anyway, I showed the school bag above but she also comes with various other optional parts! <○><○>

– Hamburger –

The delicious fast food meal! A hamburger is included!

This allows you to recreate a certain memorable scene from the series that most fans should remember! (σ・∀・)σ

Combined with the included embarrassed expression, it creates a scene where she just noticed you watching her eat! The expression even kind of looks like she is chewing when used in a pose like this! ♡

Other parts are also included to create all sorts of different situations!

– Glow Sticks –

These were also included with Honoka-chan! ★

Each character comes with glow sticks of their own image color, which means that Elichi comes with light blue glow sticks! The glow sticks have a diameter of about 3mm which easily allows other figmas to hold them as well! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

You can give them to some other characters to have them cheer on for a μ’s performance!

– Various Hand Parts –

Even left and right hand parts in a fox shape are included! What does the fox say?! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Clenched hands, peace hands and hands for dance scenes… so many hands are included for all sorts of possibilities! ♪

For example! The embarrassed face together with this hand…

The combination of embarrassment and anger in this pose is just perfect for a tsundere character! ♪
