Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this product currently up for preorder from KADOKAWA…
Tohka Yatogami!★

A 1/7th scale figure of Tohka Yatogami based on an illustration from the Tsunako Art Book -Converves- released on the 25th February 2016! The figure captures her seated on a cat tower while enjoying her favorite kinako bread while wearing cat ears and sexy lingerie!

If you display her together with the similar 1/7th scale Kurumi Tokisaki figure released in March 2018 you can capture even more of the cat cafe illustration from the artbook!

The second figure based on an illustration from the Date A Live Tsunako Art Book -Conserves-!

Sexy lingerie and cute cat ears in a lovely innocent looking pose munching on some of her favorite kinako bread! A lovely scale figure of Tohka Yatogami!

She is posed seated upon a pink cat tower, just about to bite into the delicious looking bread!! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

The frilly lingerie is sculpted and painted to give it a very thin, soft looking appearance! The various creases in the fabric also create a lovely realistic look!

The figure mentioned in her release text that she looks great displayed with is this kitty figure of Kurumi, also with a cat tower!

Anyway, let’s get back to Tohka Yatogami!

As I mentioned earlier, she has cute cat ears… but I also want to point out that she also has a cute tail as well! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

▲ The way she is holding the bread with her right hand is also rather cat-like!

Plus she is also wearing a red collar! ♪

▲ The belt, golden latch and smooth skin make for a lovely contrast of textures!

Also take a closer look at the paintwork of her skin!

The colors of her skin feature various different shades, from a slightly more red areas to the much more pale areas. This not only brings out the lovely smooth look of her skin but also captures its warmth! (*´ェ`*)

▲ The ribbons tied on her ankles and the slight little bump of the bone on her foot! Such lovely detail!

Her lovely long hair tied up quite high has also been sculpted with lovely detail, and even features a slight gradient toward the tips! Even though her hair is very long it also has a very soft and airy feel to it!

Gwendolyn: Winged Maiden Warrior (Valkyrie) from the epic RPG released by Altus and Vanillaware “Odin Sphere Leifthrasir”!
Daughter of Demon Lord Odin, king of the great northern land Ragnanival, and princess in her own right, this figure depicts Gwendolyn as a valkyrie flying over the battlefield.
Based on an illustration featured as the cover for a foreign gaming publication, she glides effortlessly on elegant azure wings, with a powerful posture that has yet to suffer a single blow.
Careful consideration has been given to recreate the colors in the original illustration as closely as possible.
To suspend and support her soaring through the heavens, the stand was created in the image of a “psypher skill” seen in-game. Her feathers, stand, spear, and other portions feature a clear material, exquisitely capturing the light to exude the fairytale-like ambiance of the game.

Based of an illustration featured on the cover of a foreign gaming magazine, it captures both her dynamic pose as well as the delicate nuance and vibrance of the colors used.

There’s so much going on to admire here – the harsh metallic look of her armor, the translucent fabric of her arm covers, her smooth and silky skin… ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

And none of the details on the front of the beautiful bustier style dress she’s wearing have been skimped.

Nendoroid Tamaki Yotsuba (Idolish7)

Hello, everyone.

Kaho-tan here. ( @gsc_kahotan )  I enjoy custards hard and soft alike – but a bitter caramel sauce is what really makes my day!

Today we’ll be taking a look at:

Nendoroid Tamaki Yotsuba★

From the smart phone game “Idolish7” comes this Nendoroid of the lethargic yet considerate Tamaki Yotsuba!

He comes with a languid standard expression, gallant “ikemen” expression, as well as an expression with a beaming smile. And in addition to Tamaki’s beloved King Pudding, he also has a King Pudding pillow! Enjoy recreating his glimmering idol side as well as his everyday laidback side, with enough parts to enact a wide variety of situations! Be sure to display him together with Nendoroid Sogo Osaka (sold separately), also available for preorder.

“If it’s for King Pudding, I’d do anything.”

Tamaki Yotsuba is not only a member of the “Idolish7,” but the Idolish7 sub-group “Mezzo” – brought to you in cute Nendoroid form.

He’s wearing his favorite King Pudding t-shirt, and that haphazard expression while lazy is… entirely appropriate, don’t you think? ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

▲His loose-fitting cat-ear hoodie looks pretty cute from the back, too… !

In addition to a standard expression where you can almost hear his lackadaisical remarks, two other face plates are included.

We’ll take a look at this one first – his gallantly decisive face!

This is an expression oozing with confidence…!  That twinge of rebellion about it is nice, too. ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

And depending on how you look at it, it could come across as rather boastful as well… !

Even so, I could never despise him for it!!  Seeing this pose makes me want to shower him in praise!!

And the 3rd face plate that you’re all so curious about is…

This beaming smile!

Nendoroid Tsunayoshi Sawada & Nendoroid Kyoya Hibari (Reborn!)

Without further ado, let’s see what they have to offer!

Nendoroid Tsunayoshi Sawada

From the popular anime series “REBORN!” comes a Nendoroid of the 10th generation Vongola Family boss candidate, Tsunayoshi Sawada! He comes with three face plates including his standard smile that makes him look nothing like a mafia boss, a hyper expression to display him in Hyper Dying Will Mode as well as a lazy expression to display the more everyday side of his personality! Optional parts include Hyper Dying Will Mode effect parts and X-Gloves. You can display him making use of his famous moves such as Zero Point Breakthrough: Revised as well as X BURNER! Enjoy all the different sides of his personality – from the confident boss to his lazy everyday appearance – all in cute Nendoroid size! In addition, he also comes with a special Vongola Famiglia emblem background plate to display together with him! Be sure to display him together with the upcoming Nendoroid Kyoya Hibari!

And though he’s super-deformed, his trademark spiky hair has been meticulously recreated!

▲ That shirt tail hanging out in the back is just like Tsunayoshi… ! (・∀・)ｲｲ!!

His face plates include a sweetly smiling standard expression, which seems nothing like a mob boss whatsoever, as well as his hyper expression for Tsunayoshi needs to use his Hyper Dying Will Mode! ☆

 

You can recreate his Zero Point Breakthrough: Revised move by equipping his X-Gloves, Vongolia Family Necklace, and the Dying Will flame effect part that attaches to the front hair portion…

Or have him executing the X-Burner!! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

A complete 180 from before, here stands a gallant Tsuyoshi – someone you’d expect to see as a confident mafia boss!

And his third face plate is…

A good-for-nothing loser face that captures that side of Tsunayoshi with bad grades, bad luck, and an all around bad temperament that leads Tsuna to say “I can’t, I can’t” to just about anything ( ´>ω<`)

Pair together with the left or right bend arm to capture that wave of teeth rattling fear!

Last but not least!  He also comes with a Vongola Family Emblem Plate, together with a special stand! ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

Nendoroid Kyoya Hibari

From legendary TV anime “Reborn!” comes the Nendoroid you’ve been waiting for – lone wolf Vongola family guardian Kyoya Hibari!
In addition to his cool standard expression, he also comes with a menacing grin for his famous catchphrase “I’ll bite you to death,” and a yawning expression only one strict regarding sleep like Kyoya could pull off.
You can remove the school jacket draped over his shoulders!
Optional parts include his tonfas, partner (?) Hibird, and seated legs so you can enjoy putting him in a variety of situations.
Pair with Nendoroid Tsunayoshi Sawada (sold separately) for even more fun!

Head of the Disciplinary Committee at Namimori Middle school, who keeps the worst of the unsavory characters in line – Kyoya Hibari in adorable little Nendoroid form!

His clear blue eyes, silky black hair, and school jacket draped over his shoulders have all been captured in great detail!

And for accessories…

His tonfas are included, of course! (っ’ω’)っ))

When I first saw Hibari’s tonfa… They were like the coolest thing I’d ever seen!  (How long ago was that…)

His face plates include a calm and collected standard expression, a menacing grin that looks like he might just bite you to death, and a slightly bored looking yawning expression! ♪

Nendoroid Fennec (Kemono Friends)

And the star of today’s blog is… !

Hello, everyone.

Kaho-tan here. ( @gsc_kahotan)

So let’s get right to it – today we’ll be taking a look at

Nendoroid Fennec!

From the popular “Kemono Friends” comes a Nendoroid of Raccoon’s laid back pal who’s never in a rush – Fennec! She comes with a happy smiling expression, a surprised expression, and an observant expression for watching over her hasty friend.

In addition to a wealth of hand and arm parts you can use to recreate Fennec’s signature poses, she also comes with a cute seated lower body part. Have even more fun pairing her with her pal Nendoroid Common Raccoon, sold separately!

“Come on, Raccoon – I’ve told you to take it slow…”

A super cute Nendoroid of Raccoon’s laid back pal who’s never in a rush – Fennec from “Kemono Friends!”

Her large ears accented by small tufts of hair, a bow around her neck, white skirt, and cute fluffy tail have all been faithfully captured in Nendoroid form. ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

Nendoroid Geralt (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt)

Why do you ask?  The answer lies within the figure we’ll be looking at today… !

Nendoroid Geralt!

From the globally acclaimed open world RPG “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” comes a Nendoroid of the White Wolf, Geralt of Rivia! The Nendoroid is fully articulated allowing you to easily pose him in combat scenes, and he comes with both his steel and silver swords which can both be equipped to suit the situation! A hand of Gwent cards is also included to display him enjoying a round of the mini-game from the series!
Along with his standard serious face plate, he also comes with an interchangeable face plate that captures the veins along his face when he overdoses on decoctions and potions! In addition, the iconic bathing scene at the start of the game can also be recreated with the included bath parts! Recreate all sorts of scenes from the world of the Witcher in adorable Nendoroid size!

From a game series that celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, we present this cute little Nendoroid of  Geralt the White Wolf, from the open world RPG “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!”

▲Strapped to his back are the steel sword, silver sword, and crossbow… !

He also comes with a flame effect part, so you can marvel at his use of the Igni magical sign attack as well as his swordsmanship in battle!

And today we’ll be taking a look at

YURI!!! On ICE x Sanrio Characters!

From the anime series “YURI!!! on ICE” comes a selection of collectible trading figures designed in collaboration with the Sanrio characters series! The line-up includes six different figures including Yuri x Pochacco A, Yuri x Pochacco B, Victor x Pompompurin A, Victor x Pompompurin B, Yuuri x Hello Kitty A and Yuuri x Hello Kitty B. Be sure to add the small, cute characters to your collection!

Nendoroid Taikobo & Supushan (Hakyu Hoshin Engi)

And the stars of today’s blog are… !

And getting right to it, today we’ll be taking a look at

Nendoroid Taikobo & Supushan!

From the anime series”Hakyu Hoshin Engi” comes a Nendoroid of the doushi from Kun Lun Mountain, “Taikobo”, together with his hippo-like spirit beast, Supushan!
He comes with three face plates including a standard aloof smiling expression, a pensive expression to pose him taking part in a game of wits as well as one of his iconic chibi expressions.
Optional parts include his “Whip of the Gods” weapon together with attacking effect parts to display him making use of it!
His favorite food, a peach, is also included and he even comes with parts which allow him to be displayed riding on Supushan! Recreate your favorite scenes from the series in Nendoroid size!

“I will create a safe world for humans!”

Protagonist Taiboko and his trusty sidekick spirit-beast Supushan from the anime “Hakyu Hoshin Engi” (on air now!) in cute Nendoroid form!

Their distinct cheeks, slightly enlarged hands and feet, and other stylistic qualities from their design have been preserved, even as deformed Nendoroids!

A special lower body part is included to enable Taiboko to ride Supushan, so you can recreate them floating in mid-flight, just like in the series! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

He can shake his head from side to side as well.  And the “ball” he’s gripping tightly is… (yes, that)!

He has an adorably round hippo-like form, and is filled with exquisite detail, like his cape that flutters in the wind.

(That’s right – your eyes don’t deceive!  With both master and servant together, you’re getting 2 full Nendoroids here… !)

Alright, let’s turn our gaze now towards Taikobo. (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

He comes with an aloof standard expression, as well as a pensive expression – for displaying his prowess in a game of wits.

His cape cape can be removed, and if you pair the expression with his folded arms it looks like this… !

▲You can rearrange him any way you like ε-(o´ω｀o)

Before we get to his third expression, his Whip of the Gods also comes as an accessory!

Use it together with the attacking effect part to see it in action!

OK, OK… and now for the third expression!

This is the iconic chibi expression we were talking aboutっ(°ε °)

That’s right, instead of just a face, this is actually an entire head!!! 

I’m personally a big fan of this SD face and feel super happy that it’s included… !  Even though it’s quite extravagant for a GSC product!

And in his hand there, you even have one of his beloved peaches! ♡

Nendoroid Bismarck Kai (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

Hello, everyone.

Kaho-tan here. ( @gsc_kahotan)  And I just got an insatiable craving for coarse grain mustard!

Like I could eat it spread on a slice of bread… Delicious!

Well, moving on – today we’ll be taking a look at

Nendoroid Bismarck Kai!

From the popular browser game “Kantai Collection -KanColle-” comes a Nendoroid of the upgraded version of the nameship of the Bismarck-class battleships – Bismarck Kai! The figure is designed based on the “Kai” version, but also includes parts which allow you to partially recreate the “zwei” and “drei” versions of her as well!

She comes with three face plate including a standard expression, a combat expression as well as am embarrassed expression. Optional parts include the standard turret firing effect parts as well as torpedo firing effect parts for displaying her in her “drei” form.

The ship parts are articulated to be highly flexible when posing, allowing you to move all her fire power to one side or instead balance it out evenly! The legendary black cat that is also included to display by her side! Be sure to add the very first KanColle Nendoroid based on a German ship to your collection!

“Gut. It’s my turn, now.”

“Kantai Collection -KanColle-” will celebrate its 5th anniversary on April 23.  And just in time for the festivities, we present this cute little Nendoroid of the modified version of the prized German Bismarck series Super Dreadnaught name ship – Bismarck Kai!

And this even the large armaments have some articulation of their own! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

Each turret and its platform can rotate, and the range of motion for each arm has been extended.★

▲Look how far the upper arm can fold inwards!

For that reason, the rigging has to be firmly affixed to her shoulders…

You can even concentrate your firepower all on one side! (っ’ω’)っ))


Pair together with her battle expression for a relentless attack scene! ♪

And to make sure you can maneuver those huge armaments with ease, her long hair is outfitted with some joints as well! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

 

▲So it won’t get in the way of all those arms♪

And as the base design for this ship is the Kai, we’ve made it so that you can easily transform her into the “zwei” or “drei” by trading out a few simple parts! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

 

◆Simple zwei Transformation◆

Her arm bands have changed from red to gray, and the top part of the turrets has changed from red to dark gray!

 

We’ve also included a black cat – modeled after the legendary German cat who survived many a ship wreck!

It goes well with the embarrassed face – you can almost hear her protest being left behind!

◆Simple drei Transformation◆

The biggest difference between the zwei and drei is the weapon in her hand and the topedo tubes on sides of the ship.

▲It may be SD, but we’ve skimped on none of the details! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Pair with your trusty torpedo tube effects and navy aircraft to behold this little lady’s gallant stance with abandon!

▲Both navy aircraft and effect parts come with their own stands.

So why not show some love for this first German lass to join the Nendoroid fleet?

Schwi (No Game No Life -Zero-)

The star of today’s blog is… !

And today we’ll be taking a look at the

1/8 scale figure Schwi!☆

From the anime movie “No Game No Life -Zero-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of the ex-machina girl, Schwi! The figure is based on the illustration from the film that featured Schwi with a part of her body destroyed, gazing out into the distance with a wistful look in her eyes.

The battered appearance of the huge weapon on her right arm and all the other mechanical details of her design have been intricately sculpted, with careful paintwork to recreate the original as faithfully as possible.

In contrast to the mechanical parts, her skin looks pale and soft with some burnt areas caused by the damage to her body – the figure melds the organic and mechanical parts of her design together with beautiful detail. Be sure to add her to your collection and enjoy the frank expression of the ex-machina that wanted to know what it meant to have a human heart.

I wished, to live together…

Highly skilled in combat and heavily armed, we proudly present this scale figure of the ex-machina girl Schwi.

Modeled after the memorable “No Game No Life -Zero” key visual, even portions not visible in the illustration have been crafted with scrupulous detail!

Including a certain ring on her left hand!

The unique color transitions in her hair have of course been carefully detailed, and a clear material has been used for the wings to give them a slight glimmer – with the same color blue you can find in her hair! ( ´>ω<`)

Her human-like flesh has a sexy pinkish hue, while the mechanical portions look painfully brutal… !

The contrast of the two creates a delight for the eyes! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

A clear material has been painted with different colors on either side, to intentionally create a more subtle shimmering effect.

To properly express each and every burn wound and gauging cut, you can see a remnant of the heat generated when the blow was dealt… !

▲Especially on the right side – you can almost hear that sizzling crackle… !

The way she’s seated flat on the ground gives a sense of “calm,” while the way her hair billows as if dancing in the wind creates “movement.” (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

▲I think you get a better sense of that movement seeing her from all 360 degrees… !

Be sure to get a good look at her expression, too!  (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

At a glance, it seems as if she’s gazing skyward with abandon, but from the front it looks as if she’s staring at something straight ahead in determination… !

Even now I feel like she could mutter something in that cute voice from her haplessly parted lips… I’m hesitant to say I like it but… it has this mysterious innocence about it, together with steadfast resolve… but regardless, I can’t look away… (/ω＼)

If you add her to your collection, please take the time to carefully appreciate all of the details!

The base incorporates the colors seen in the illustration background, so it too is captured in the figure!

The surface of the base is quite rough, like the surface of a devastated planet.

Her thigh, damaged calf, and rugged terrain… The contrast of all the different textures is a thing of beauty ε=(｡・д・｡)

While the figure definitely invokes the emotion of the movie, it’s also a testament to beautiful craftsmanship and artisan paintwork – we certainly hope you’ll add it to your collection!
