Today I’ll be taking a look at KADOKAWA’s…

Kurumi Tokisaki: Fantasia 30th Anniversary Ver.

KADOKAWA presents a 1/7th scale figure of Kurumi Tokisaki from “Date A Live”. Based on the inside cover illustration from the light novel’s 11th volume when the protagonist, Shido Itsuka, meets Kurumi 5 years in the past.

Her hair gently flowing in the wind, frilly skirt and signature eyepatch have been captured in this high-quality figure. She also comes with an eyepatch-less interchangeable face part so she can be displayed either way. Be sure to add her to your collection!

Based on the inside cover illustration of the 11th volume of the light novel, Kurumi Tokisaki has been transformed into a 1/7th scale figure! ★

Her impressive costume and the detailed frills and folds have been carefully sculpted one-by-one. ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Everything from her black and white dress to the rose-adorned accessory in her hair has been recreated without compromise!

▲Such a chic color palette! ε-(o´ω｀o)

If you look close, you can also see her hair has the slightest gradation to it at the ends, going from black to red.

The gradation paired with her long flowing hairstyle makes for a beautiful, lively appearance.

▲Her voluminous skirt also looks to be fluttering in the wind. (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

I want to point out another highlight here!

I personally love how tiny details like the wrinkles in her knee socks are clearly sculpted. ( ´>ω<`。)

▲The different materials and textures are clearly represented here with the glossy look of her shoes and somewhat see-through appearance of her knee socks.

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this product currently up for preorder from KADOKAWA…
Tohka Yatogami!★

A 1/7th scale figure of Tohka Yatogami based on an illustration from the Tsunako Art Book -Converves- released on the 25th February 2016! The figure captures her seated on a cat tower while enjoying her favorite kinako bread while wearing cat ears and sexy lingerie!

If you display her together with the similar 1/7th scale Kurumi Tokisaki figure released in March 2018 you can capture even more of the cat cafe illustration from the artbook!

The second figure based on an illustration from the Date A Live Tsunako Art Book -Conserves-!

Sexy lingerie and cute cat ears in a lovely innocent looking pose munching on some of her favorite kinako bread! A lovely scale figure of Tohka Yatogami!

She is posed seated upon a pink cat tower, just about to bite into the delicious looking bread!! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

The frilly lingerie is sculpted and painted to give it a very thin, soft looking appearance! The various creases in the fabric also create a lovely realistic look!

The figure mentioned in her release text that she looks great displayed with is this kitty figure of Kurumi, also with a cat tower!

Anyway, let’s get back to Tohka Yatogami!

As I mentioned earlier, she has cute cat ears… but I also want to point out that she also has a cute tail as well! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

▲ The way she is holding the bread with her right hand is also rather cat-like!

Plus she is also wearing a red collar! ♪

▲ The belt, golden latch and smooth skin make for a lovely contrast of textures!

Also take a closer look at the paintwork of her skin!

The colors of her skin feature various different shades, from a slightly more red areas to the much more pale areas. This not only brings out the lovely smooth look of her skin but also captures its warmth! (*´ェ`*)

▲ The ribbons tied on her ankles and the slight little bump of the bone on her foot! Such lovely detail!

Her lovely long hair tied up quite high has also been sculpted with lovely detail, and even features a slight gradient toward the tips! Even though her hair is very long it also has a very soft and airy feel to it!

I can’t believe it’s already been half a year since we went to visit a cat cafe as an April Fools joke! I think I need to go and visit again for a quick dose of happiness… (っ’ω’)っ))

But in the meantime, I have a cute and sexy cat girl to keep me occupied from KADOKAWA! Currently up for preorder is this 1/7th scale…
Kurumi Tokisaki!

A 1/7th scale figure of Kurumi Tokisaki based on an illustration from the Tsunako Art Book -Converves- released on the 25th February 2016! The figure captures her cute expression and compelling gestures as she leans up against a cat tower, with the beautiful curves of her body and the way the gaterbelt squeezes her skin preserved in intricate detail.

The base of the figure is made to match the cat-eared illustration of Kurumi, including the cat tower from the original illustration. You don’t normally get to see Kurumi this cute and sexy in her Astral Dress, but with figure by your side you can enjoy her like this from any angle you please, whenever you wish!

From Date A Live comes a figure of the spirit who can control shadows and time: Kurumi Tokisaki wearing a sexy dress with cat ears and a tail!!

The pose has her leaning up against a cat tower in a sexy outfit for a very seductive looking pose!

The shiny look of her high heel shoes, the long stockings with garterbelts that contrast against the pale white skin of her thighs, and that long bushy tail! Even from the back there are so many highlights to enjoy on the figure! The pose is based on an illustration that was originally seen in the Date A Live Tsunako Art Book -Conserves-! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

As a side note, Good Smile Company has previously released a Nendoroid of Kurumi wearing her Astral Dress! ♪

But anyway, let’s get back to the scale figure! (∩・∀・)∩

Her asymmetrical twintails have been sculpted with each and every stand very carefully detailed, and the frilly dress she wears has a somewhat light and translucent feel to it while also including all the details of creases. The tighter fit around her waist also lets you see the shape of her body right through the outfit! ε-(o´ω｀o)

The cat ears and tail have a nice fluffy appearance, and even the bells in her hair have been sculpted in lovely detail!

She even has a collar on her neck to bring the cat theme together!

The cute look on her face with her tongue sticking out also adds to the cat theme while providing a bit of a mischievous element to the figure! The combination of sexy and cute are just too perfect!!

▲ The detailed clock eye has also of course been faithfully included!

The figure really captures the different textures around Kurumi so nicely! From the rough look of the cat tower base to her soft looking skin or the silky look of her outfit… even though they are all made from a similar material the sculpt and paintwork gives them a completely different look!

▲ Also note the fluffy look of the part she rests her knee on! (・∀・)!!

Date A Live Nendoroid & Nendoroid More: Dress-Up Rereleases

There are only 44 days left of 2017!! We’re getting to the time of year where Christmas lights are seen everywhere!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a selection of items that have recently been announced for rerelease! (∩・∀・)∩

Let’s first take a look at the Nendoroids! ♪

Both of these Nendoroids from Date A Live are dressed up in their lovely Astral Dresses which make use of semi-transparent parts to recreate that see-through, light feeling of the material in the series!!

The details on the sculpting of their various accessories is also fantastic!

Along with their standard expressions above, they also comes with special expressions designed for combat scenes! Tohka comes with a shouting expression while Kurumi comes with a maddened expression!!

In addition, Tohka comes with a blushing embarrassed expression and Kurumi comes with a condescending expression! ♥

I figured these expressions would look even better with different outfits, so here we are going to move onto our next product currently up for rerelease…

Along with the body parts I’m using above, the Dress Up Wedding series also comes with tiara and flower crown parts which I’m not using in the photo above! You can see them on the product page!

Here we have Nendoroid Todomatsu Matsuno wearing the Sacred White tuxedo type Dress Up parts! Todomatsu will be on sale from the 24th November 2016!

Taking a photo with them looking away from the camera brings out that Pajama party feeling!!

Other than the two colors above, the skirt type is also available in an aqua color, and the tunic type in citrus and lime colors! Plus there is also a secret outfit for a total of six different types to collect!

The secret isn’t really a secret anymore, so here it is! ★

I’m sure you can think of some characters that would look great in one of these outfits!! They are so cute!! ♡

Other than this color there is also Passion Red, Active Blue, Pop Yellow and Shiny Orange as well as one secret outfit for a total of six to collect!

Here we have Nendoroid Jushimatsu who will also be available from the 24th November wearing the secret cheerleader outfit! This outfit looks great on both male and female Nendoroids! ☆

Nendoroid More: Dress Up Swimsuits!

The Bikini Type (tropical pink)!

This time around I decided to use Nendoroid Shigure Kai Ni as I thought she would look great in a bikini!! She will be in stores from the 28th November!! ♡

Along with this bikini there are also two different school swimsuits in classic navy and pure white as well as sexy bikinis in ocean blue and sexy black! There is also one secret to collect for a total of six different types! Depending on the type a beach ball or beach mat and tropical flower are also included!!

The secret in the swimsuit series is more of a towel!!

I’ve recently noticed that I have a rather sensitive mouth when it comes to eating and drinking hot things. I need to take care during these colder months not to burn my mouth on tea or miso soup…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Kurumi Tokisaki! ♡

From the popular light novel and anime series ‘Date A Live II’ comes the third Nendoroid from the series – Kurumi Tokisaki wearing her Goth-Loli Astral Dress!She comes with three expressions including a mysterious sidelong glance, a condescending expression as well as a maddened expression showing off her fearless disposition. Optional parts include both Zafkiel’s musket and pistol, allowing you to pose her in the various poses she took while firing shots from them! Enjoy the adorable madness of Kurumi in Nendoroid size!

Nendoroid #3 from Date A Live following on from Tohka Yatogami and Yoshino! ♪

The yandere spirit who controls time and shadows!

The golden clock face in her left eye looks great!! ♪

The fact that she has different colored eyes also makes for quite a rare sight in the Nendoroid series! If you buy a couple of her you can even recreate a certain special scene from the show!

Let’s take a closer look at her lovely outfit! ε=(｡・д・｡)

All the intricate patterns on her red and black dress!!

Not to mention the details on the frills, ribbon and boots – which have all been beautifully sculpted! ♥︎

Also… although it’s a little bit difficult to see, her skirt makes use of a translucent material, just like  Tohka Yatogami’s did! It helps to bring out the setting of the outfits being composed of light! ♪

(・∀・) “Let’s a lot more to Kurumi than just her outfit!”

We’re joined by Kurumi’s planner, Shuuchan-senpai!

(・∀・) “Zafkiel’s musket and pistol are also included in all their glory!”

Oooooooohhhh!!!♥︎♡

(・∀・) “Even though they were shrunk down to Nendoroid size, we still tried to keep as much detail as we possibly could!” 

It shows! They’re so tiny but the detail is astounding! (゜д゜；)

 (・∀・) “We also decide to include this!”

Ooh! Is that what I think it is?!

(・∀・) “Not only are her guns included, but Zafkiel’s form as a giant clock face is also included as an effect part to place behind her!”

It brings out the atmosphere of the series nicely! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

The clock face is a plastic sheet, but it comes with a special little connector to hold it up behind Kurumi! 

(・∀・) “The connector is the same as the ones that came with the Attack on Titan Nendoroid series – it plugs into one of the holes on a standard Nendoroid stand!”

By the way, if we take a look from the back you’ll notice that her twintails…

(・∀・) “Yep! Her twintails are both fitted with Nendoroid joints allowing you to move them in absolutely any direction for some epic poses! Like this one!!

Ooooh!!

Just adding a twist to the hair instantly makes her look more dynamic! <○><○>

Not to mention the expression that has been in the past few photos! She looks ready to take on the world! ♥︎

It’s so very adorable!!

(・∀・) “This is her condescending expression! This expression combined with the way she speaks makes such a perfect combination!”

You can use the bent arm to make some playful poses too – even something a bit like a cat paw pose!

This expression is actually really easy to use in all sorts of ways!

(・∀・) “Kurumi is one of those characters with a load of expressions, and the third one we picked is very special for her!“

\ Ha.. hahaha… Ahahahahaha!!♪/

 (・∀・) “Kurumi’s third expression also captures her character brilliantly… the mad side of her character!” 

She looks completely uncontrollable with this face!

It very much reminds me of episode 8 from the series!

Kurumi-chan’s beauty and personality all packed up in Nendoroid size!

The contrast between her cute looks and twisted side is so beautiful!!  *nom* “(○´ㅂ`○)” *nom*

I can’t believe I still haven’t seen ant snow this Winter yet! There should have been some last night but it ended up as a little drizzle of rain instead! I get the feeling that this Nendoroid was responsible…

Nendoroid Yoshino! ♪

From the anime with an upcoming second season, ‘Date A Live’ comes a Nendoroid of the spirit, Yoshino! She comes with three expressions including her standard face, a frightened crying face as well as a blushing chibi face! Optional parts include her puppet ‘Yoshinon’, as well as a chibi snow rabbit sized version of Zadkiel.

The trademark large ears on her hood are fitted with joints for all sorts of different poses, and her hood and coat can also be removed using an alternate upper body part, allowing you to display her in a one-piece dress instead!

She’s so adorable!!!! （*´▽｀*）

Her giant bunny-eared hoodie with giant pink buttons on the long ears are so cute! Plus she is wearing a lovely white one-piece dress underneath! The shy yet beautiful spirit is joining the Nendoroid world! ♥

(So much so that I had to say it twice!!)

The young, innocent expression on her face really captures my heart! In her left hand you’ll see she also comes with her bunny puppet, Yoshinon! Yoshinon attaches with a ball-joint, meaning you can pose him at all sorts of different angles too!

For those who haven’t heard, a second season of the Date A Live anime is starting in April! We’ll all get to meet with the cuteness of Yoshino once again!

She also comes with some puddle parts to recreate the scene where she first meets Shido! *splash*

I want to pose other Nendoroids playing in the puddle too!!

But that aside! In the series Zadkiel is actually a giant bunny plushie but to match up with the Nendoroid we made him into a little snow bunny! We left the sharp-looking nose from the design in place though!”

Just like Nendoroid Tohka Yatogami from the same series, her outfit looks very nicely detailed! ♪

(・∀・) “Yep! We paid special attention to things like the patterns on her hood, as well as the stitches and buttons! The ears on her hood are of course attached with Nendoroid joints allowing you to pick the angle you want!”

Hmm… I think I teased Yoshino too much…

This hoodie… even though it covers up her hands completely…

Nendoroid Tohka Yatogami & Kanmusu Sneak Peek!

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

Whenever I get a plushie I always have to give it a name. I named a certain Duffy bear ‘Kinako’, and my Tortoise figure has the name ‘Tawashi’! Giving things names definitely creates a connection and makes you feel closer to them!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a Nendoroid shipping from GSC on the 5th December…

Nendoroid Tohka Yatogami! ♡

I’ve finally been doing the blog long enough for one of the prototypes I reviewed to be released as an actual product!

…It’s a rather peculiar feeling… ε=(｡・д・｡)

But I’m happy to say the finished product has come out just as amazingly detailed as the prototype! Her outfit is such an incredible sight! ♪

Her stand has a unique prop that doesn’t get in the way of her long hair!

Let’s take a closer look at the packaging!

Three different expressions, as well as various optional parts! ((o(´∀｀)o))

Let’s start off with the slashing effect parts, which are attached by exchanging the blade on the sword!

If you think Tohka is better off fighting from afar, you can instead recreate battle scenes with this shooting effect part!

But the part I really want to show everyone is this one! ☆

The Dating Sim selection panel! ♡

It even comes with a special stand that places the board beside her, just like in the series! Not to mention the embarrassed expression which is simply adorable! It’s not fair for such a serious character to have such a cute side to her – not that I’m complaining!

Plus you can use the dating sim board with various other characters too!

The selections on the board are as follows:
1) I’m interested in you.
2) So that we can be together.
3) There is something I need to ask you…

I wonder what kind of strange combinations with other Nendoroids this could make for!

It would seem Naegi doesn’t know what he should pick…

Moving on… let’s display two swordswomen together!

The combination of girls and weapons never fails to amaze me! （*´▽｀*）

She also comes with a bent left arm perfect for this pose!

The combination of the bent arm and sword… she really looks ready to take on the world in this pose! I can just hear her confident voice playing through my head!

By the way, I’m sure most of you know that a second season of Date A Live is on the way… but did you know the Nendoroids will be continuing too?

Nendoroid Tohka Yatogami

Hello everyone!

How is everyone today?! Have you been on any dates recently?!
I’ve got to say I’ve been a solo player for awhile now… (´□｀｡)

But that’s enough chit-chat, let’s get on with today’s blog…

Nendoroid Tohka Yatogami!!

From the popular light novel and anime series ‘Date A Live’ comes a Nendoroid of the main character, Tohka Yatogami! She is wearing her beautiful Astral Dress and also comes with her broadsword, ‘Sandalphon’ – both of which make use of clear parts.

She comes with three expressions including her standard expression, a shouting expression and an embarrassed expression. Other optional parts include slashing effect parts and shooting effect parts to help you recreate your favorite combat scenes from the series. A selection panel like those seen in dating sims is also included for some extra fun!

Tohka is the main heroine from the series that has already had it’s second season announced – Date A Live!

This is how she looked on display at Wonder Festival the other day!

She looks so proud and valiant in this pose, and while her armor looks very strong it also has the shape of a beautiful dress which makes her look adorable!!

Even from the back you can enjoy the fine details and sculpting of her outfit!

Her long, voluminous hair looks great from the back!
Plus the upper layer of hair is fitted with a joint for all sorts of poses!

And just look at this adorable embarrassed expression!! ﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ

The combination of the blushing face together with her unsure look makes for the perfect embarrassed expression! …she’s simply adorable!! ♥

This of course means that Nendoroid Tohka can be displayed in all sorts of different ways, ranging from cute poses to combat poses!!

(・∀・) “Ah, S-sorry, It’s hard to stop looking at these photos… The first thing I want to point out about Nendoroid Tohka is the use of ”clear parts!!”

(・∀・) “Tohka Yatogami makes use of a load of clear parts, such as on the slicing parts, window and shooting effect parts!”

You mean this one here? Putting this together and posing it with the Nendoroid in a pose makes for a really amazing scene!!

(・∀・) “Yep! Plus her sword tip and skirt also make use of clear parts!”

(・∀・) “I also think the wispy, light feeling of her dress has come out looking great on the Nendoroid!”

I see! I guess you had to carefully think of how to make it with the same thin, gentle feeling from the series!

(・∀・) “Exactly! Another thing to note is the ”selection window! Just like those seen in dating sims!

(・∀・) “In the anime, the entire screen turns into dating sim form, but that wasn’t really possible with the Nendoroid so we included this original extra part instead!”

The selections recreate the famous “For me?! Why?!” scene!

(・∀・) “It’s definitely a figure to enjoy in anticipation of the second season!”
