Nendoroid Masaki Amamiya (HIGH&LOW g-sword)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Masaki Amamiya!

“HIGH&LOW g-sword” brings out the atmosphere of HIGH&LOW with cute illustrations by CLAMP, and from that series comes a Nendoroid of the second son of the Amamiya Brothers – Masaki Amamiya. He comes with two face plates including a standard expression as well as a serious expression ready to start a fight!

Optional parts include the first ever Nendoroid high kick parts, as well as ice pop parts for use with Nendoroid Hiroto Amamiya (sold separately). He also comes with a selection of interchangeable arm and leg parts allowing for all sorts of cute poses in Nendoroid size! Be sure to add him to your collection!

“Listen to your older brother!”

From HIGH&LOW g-sword comes an adorable Nendoroid of the second eldest of the Amamiya Brothers, Masaki Amamiya! ★

The outfit for the Nendoroid is based on the cover for the HiGH&LOW g-sword special volume! The mostly black outfit is accented with silver zippers and the different in paintwork between the inner and outer layers of his outfit show the different textures in lovely detail!

His iconic hairstyle has also been faithfully sculpted so that you can even make it out when taking a look at him from the side or back!

Just like Nendoroid Cobra he comes with a special black base!

This time around the base features Amamiya Brothers emblem!

Let’s move onto his face plates and interchangeable parts! In the photos above we have his refreshing standard smiling face, but he also comes with a serious expression more suited to fighting scenes!

But perhaps even more important is this leg part!!!

In order to capture his impressive legwork while fighting he comes with a special high kicking leg part – the first ever high kick Nendoroid part!! ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ

The normal Nendoroid leg parts of course can’t quite get up to this angle, so in order to better display him in an epic kicking pose these alternate parts were included!!

It also works great when posing him with Hiroto Amamiya! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

In addition to the parts above, he also comes with ice pop parts and hand parts to hold them! He can be displayed holding them alone, but…

Nendoroid Hinata Kuraue (Encouragement of Climb / Yama no Susume)

Returning to Tokyo after being in Hokkaido really makes you realize the difference in temperature between the two areas!! It’s so warm here in Tokyo in comparison!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Hinata Kuraue!♡

From the anime series “Encouragement of Climb” comes a Nendoroid of Aoi Yukimura’s best friend, Hinata Kuraue! As the second mountain climbing Nendoroid she has been sculpted wearing her mountain climbing outfit in adorable Nendoroid size! Optional parts include her backpack, a rocky mountain slope to climb as well as an alternate body that has her jacket tied around her waist!

She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a grinning expression as well as a smiling expression with closed eyes. She also comes with special holding hand parts in order to display her enjoying some mountain climbing with Aoi! Nendoroid Aoi Yukimura is also scheduled for rerelease at the same time as Hinata, together with the Nendoroid Pouch: Sleeping Bag Red Ver. / Blue Ver. which suit the characters perfectly!

From the anime series with a third season coming in 2018, “Encouragement of Climb” comes a Nendoroid of Aoi’s best friend, Hinata Kuraue!! ♪

Just look at that mischievous smile on her face! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Her energetic smile is one thing, but all the other details of her design have also been faithfully included – from her orange jacket to the green backpack which all make her look ready to start mountain climbing!

▲ Even the clasps of the backpack are lovely and detailed!

Plus as I’m sure you noticed, she also comes with a  rocky mountain slope base to display her climbing!! While Aoi was often posed looking rather tired out, you can pose Hinata with this smiling face which shows just how easy the climb is for her!! ★

This smile really brings out her cheerful personality!! (o´ω｀o)

Plus she also comes with this third face plate…

A grinning expression for when she pokes fun at Aoi!! It’s so evil and yet so cute!! She also comes with this rather special part….! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

Can you tell what’s different?

She comes complete with an alternate upper body wearing just her camisole, as well as parts to display the jacket tied around her hips! The body needs to be completely swapped out, and of course the sleeves also need to vanish so she also comes with sleeveless arm parts as well! (*´ｪ`*)

As a side note, the side tails of her hair are articulated allowing them to be moved left and right to make for more dynamic poses! ♪

Nendoroid and figma Snow Miku 2018!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the designs for the Nendoroid and figma of the the 2018 Snow Miku! The theme this time around was “Winter and Animals of Hokkaido”! We received a huge number of entries, but the eventual winner was none other than this lovely design!

Thanks to everyone who voted during the live broadcast or online!!

Let’s see how the design looks when transformed into Nendoroid and figma size! (∩・∀・)∩

Nendoroid Snow Miku: Crane Priestess Ver.!

Snow Miku is all dressed up in a priestess outfit! She looks so majestic and proud while still remaining so very cute!! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

She also comes with a variety of parts that are all amazing detailed, including the kagura bell and fan above!

The hood can also be removed as you can see in the photo below! ♪

figma Snow Miku: Crane Priestess ver.!

The Snow Miku priestess, dancing in the snow as a figma!

Just imagine all the elegant poses you can form with this figma! The expression on her face has a lovely gentle feel to it, but also adds a bit of a mysterious air…

▲ The designs on the sleeves and the gradient on her legs have been carefully included!

Aren’t they beautiful?!

Both will also comes with lots more optional parts as well as alternate expressions, but you’ll have to wait and see what those are! (*´ｪ`*)

The reason these have been revealed is that they are currently on display at the Snow Miku Streetcar 2018 Private Viewing! ♪

The project planner for Miku, Hamako (@gsc_hama) was away on a trip to Shanghai so Akane Eiseihei (@akane_mxf ) and myself came down to Hokkaido to see the streetcar and take some photos for today’s blog! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

The design not only features photos of both the Nendoroid and figma, but also includes the 2018 Snow Miku main illustration drawn by Yasumo-san! ♪

▲She has a more grown-up look compared to the normal Miku!

The overall design has an elegant yet cute look with a bit of a Japanese-style design to match this year’s Snow Miku! ♡

▲The stylish colors with golden highlights make for a lovely design!

The inside was also filled with Miku-san! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Even Snow Mikudayo- came to take a look!☆

I even managed to capture her amazing movements on camera! ♥

This streetcar will actually be used in Sapporo, Hokkaido from the 27th November 2017 through to the 27th March 2018! Be sure to take a ride or even just a look if you are in the area!! ε-(o´ω｀o)

Higekiri (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale…
Higekiri!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Higekiri based on his standard standing illustration from the game. His gentle facial expression yet confident and powerful appearance has been captured in careful detail, with his jacket gently flowing on his shoulders. The figure can be enjoyed from any angle you please and is filled with details that bring out Higekiri’s charm. Be sure to add him to your collection!

Following on from his previously announced younger brother Hizamaru comes a 1/8th scale figure of Higekiri! At first glance he has a rather gentle look about him, but at the same time he looks to be moving forward with confidence which also shows off his strength!

The jacket on his shoulders has the sleeves gently fluttering around him and overall has a very high quality look to it!

Posing him together with his brother makes for an even more eye-catching scene!

▲ The contrast between their outfits is so fun to look at and compare!

Just like Hizamaru he has a very slim appearance around the hips and…

From the back the slim look also continues, but you also get a bit of a muscular feel to his build due to the way the creases in his outfit are formed! (∩・∀・)∩

Let’s take a closer look at his beautiful face!

The iconic design of his eyes has been captured perfectly, and the sculpted out mouth has also been captured with both sculpt and paintwork – it has a slightly glossy paint job to capture that lip-like texture! There is something about the look on his face that has a friendly and yet somewhat mysterious look! (´□｀｡)

His profile also looks stunning!

But let’s step away from his face and head down to his feet! The shoes are loafer-style shoes quite different to his brothers!

The white jacket and pants with the stylish shoes all come together for a very chic look! He may be a sword made for combat but he certainly still has a very prim and proper look here!

Next lets take a look at his hands! His right hand is placed to his chest…

While his left hand is posed loose by his side, but close enough to his sword to be able to unsheathe without a moments notice!

Look at the position of the fingers of his hand – the thumb and index finger are loosely touching which in my mind makes me think he is standing with his hand ready to open and close on the hilt of his sword in a quick flash of speed!

He really is an absolutely stunning figure no matter which angle you choose to look from, so be sure to consider adding him to your collection!

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: V4 CHINESE!★

A Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku: V4 CHINESE – the Chinese version of Hatsune Miku known for her silvery and cute voice! The adorable design created by illustrator mamenomoto has been shrunk down to Nendoroid size ensuring she looks as adorable as possible! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a smiling expression and a playful expression with her tongue sticking out!

She also comes with a selection of optional parts that allow you to pose her singing, as well as a writing brush to cheer you on as you produce songs as well as a steaming basket and peach bun for some more playful poses. Nendoroid More LoveLive!Sunshine!! Dress Up World Image Girls Vol.2!★

From the anime series “LoveLive!Sunshine!!” comes a brand new addition to the Nendoroid More Dress Up series – each of the Aqours members were selected by fans to be a representative of various counties, and the outfits they were wearing for this project that represent the various countries around the world have now been shrunk down to Nendoroid size!

The second volume in the series includes the Dutch outfit worn by Riko Sakurauchi, the Chinese outfit worn by You Watanabe, the Thai outfit worn by Hanamaru Kunikida and an American outfit worn by Mari Ohara. In addition, the set includes a “World Tour” set which includes a selection of items perfect for going on a trip around the world, and also includes hat parts for Mari and Kanan to use to complete their outfits. Be sure to display them with their respective Nendoroids!

Uzuki Shimamura: HOT LIMIT Ver. (THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS)

Uzuki Shimamura: HOT LIMIT Ver.!★

The second of the HOT LIMIT Anniversary Collaboration Figures to celebrate the 20th anniversary of T.M.Revolution’s debut is Uzuki Shimamura from THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, a series which has just celebrated its 6th anniversary! The figure is based on the illustration by Annin Doufu that was included in Takanori Nishikawa’s book distributed at Comic Market.

The figure features Uzuki with her hair ribbon in hand and her boots removed and placed by her side in a pose that tells a complete story! It’s a rather different look compared to her standard idol outfits, so be sure to add the HOT LIMIT “bare-footed” Uzuki to your collection!

▲ She looks stunning from the back!

Even in such a bold outfit, Uzuki’s dazzling smile is just as adorable as ever, creating a lovely mix of both cute and sexy for fans to enjoy!! You’re so cute, Shimamu!!!

Note that the iconic curls at the ends of her hair make use of semi-see-through parts which gives her hair a more translucent look as it flows around her!

▲The details of  her hair are really impressive!

Note all the details on her outfit as well! Even though it is a rather simple, black outfit the creases all over the design show just how tight fitting it is! ★

The way the bare skin seems to pop out in each of the gaps makes her look so very touchable as well! The whole body looks like it would be so smooth and soft to the touch!!

▲The curves of her hips and even the back of her knees are amazing! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Let’s take a closer look at her hands! ♪

If you look close you’ll even notice her nails are painted with a very light pink that has a slight shine to it as well!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

In her hand she holds her hair ribbon, and you can see the way her fingers have been sculpted to capture just the right amount of force as she loosely hold the ribbon!

Plus if we look at the boots at her feet!

The soles even have a starry design!

Even the boots which she isn’t even wearing have been sculpted and painted with such intricate detail! Be sure to take a nice close if you choose to pick her up!! ♪

Rem: Birthday Cake Ver. (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

I want to go to one of those stores that specializes in fresh cream goods! On a related note I hear there are even some stores the specialize in only candy apples!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/7th scale…
Rem: Birthday Cake Ver.!♡

The first figure to join the collaboration project between KADOKAWA and Good Smile Company! From the popular anime series “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” comes a 1/7th scale figure of the younger of the twin maids, Rem! The figure is based on an illustration by Daichi Matsuse that was drawn for the “Re:ZERO Starting Rem’s Birthday Life in Shibuya Marui 2017” event.

The light, gentle color scheme of the original illustration has been preserved on the figure while also sculpting her in intricate detail to create a high quality figure that fans will be proud to own. Enjoy Rem’s relaxed appearance wearing a negligee with a lovely smile on her face as she sits by your side, ready to enjoy her birthday!

⇒ PRODUCT DETAILS

The pose of the figure is based on an illustration that was done for the Re:ZERO Starting Rem’s Birthday Life in Shibuya Marui 2017 event! The gentle color scheme and Rem’s relaxed appearance as she sits with a smile on her face have been captured as faithfully as possible!

The front part of her hair makes use of translucent parts to capture the see-through look of the illustration as faithfully as possible! The gentle eyes peeking out between the hair are just so adorable!

Also note the rose neck accessory as well as the lovely curves of her shoulders… everything about the figure is so detailed! Even the cake she is holding in front of her has been intricately detailed, with even the flames of the candles flickering about! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

▲ So many berries! It looks so tasty!

The ribbons and frills on her outfit all have such a thin and dainty look about them! The various creases in the fabric based on her pose and body-line have also all been beautifully sculpted onto the figure! (∩・∀・)∩

▲▼ You can see the outfit is quite a tight fit when looking from the back!

While the outfit is mostly white in color, the white if filled with shadows that bring out the shape of Rem’s body and also show just how soft the fabric is!

Also note the lovely squishable look of her thighs… and the ever so slight red where her knees bend!! So much attention to detail!

▲ The figure is of course made from a solid material…
but the way it is sculpted makes it looks so very soft!

Nendoroid Tatara Fujita (Welcome to the Ballroom)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a Nendoroid that went up for preorder earlier today…
Nendoroid Tatara Fujita!

From the anime series “Welcome to the Ballroom” comes a Nendoroid of the main character Tatara Fujita who starts ballroom dancing in order to change himself. He comes with three face plates including a standard face perfect for posing him dancing, a worried expression as well as a smiling face with closed eyes.

You can easily pose him in all sorts of dancing scenes, and he also comes with a towel to pose him taking a break after a dance contest. Be sure to add the clumsy yet determined Tatara to your collection!

From the popular anime series based around the world of Ballroom Dancing, “Welcome to the Ballroom” comes a Nendoroid of  Tatara Fujita!

His unkempt hairstyle and contrasting neat outfit have all been converted into Nendoroid size!

▲ The buttons have a glossy finish for that extra bit of detail! ♥

His arm parts come with a separate joint before the elbow allowing for more posing opportunities!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

▲ Along with open hands, he also comes with clenched hands! ♪

Plus along with his standard smiling face, he also comes with two alternate face plates! First up we have a worried expression! (∩・∀・)∩

The worries looking eyebrows, teary eyes and blushing cheeks!

There is so much emotion in this expression!! He also comes with these parts which work with this face plate perfectly!

Sitting parts as well as a towel part!

You can easily pose the Nendoroid sitting down with a towel to his mouth after a long dancing session! The jacket also comes with alternate parts that allow it to trail behind him when he is placed in this sitting pose! ♪

Moving on to his third expression, we have a lovely cheerful smiling face with closed eyes!

The same smile had in the series after his dancing contest!

Depending on the pose and angle you look from, it also can be used as a bit of a bashful smile too! Simply mix and match to create various different situations! (っ’ω’)っ))
