Takao: Heavy & Light Armament Ver.

Today’s Main Feature!

I hope everyone is happy with their 2016 Summer memories! I still feel like I need the Summer to last just a little bit longer!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Takao: Heavy Armament Ver.!

From the browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a scale figure of the 1st Takao-class Heavy Cruiser – Takao! This is a special ‘Heavy Armament Ver.’ that will be a new addition to Good Smile Company and Max Factory’s ‘Wonderful Hobby Selection’ series of top-quality figures!

Just like the previously announced Atago, her three 20.3cm Twin Gun Mounts have all been included on this version to completely recreate Takao for fans to enjoy! Her tight skirt, beautiful long legs, slim waist and impressive bosom together with the ship parts all come together to create a figure filled with highlights! A special stand to display her together with her sister ship Atago is also included, so be sure to display the two Takao-class cruisers together in your figure fleet

“Takao, heading out!”

Following on from the previously announced Atago comes a 1/8th scale figure of the 1st Takao-class Heavy cruiser with just as much volume and attention to detail – Takao!!

As usual, the mechanical ship parts contrast with the soft looking body beautifully, making for such a lovely figure! Even the fabric of her outfit has been sculpted with a light, flowing appearance that makes it look so realistic – just look at the way the fabric is pulling on her tight mini skirt!! Not to mention the lovely area between the skirt and her stockings that only have a garter-belt covering up the bare skin! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Just like her younger sister Atago, the large ship parts with multiple double-barrelled turrets have an amazingly mechanical and heavy appearance to them that really catches the eye!

The ship bridge accessory she has hanging from her shoulder has also been included!

But then of course we move onto the soft looking body that contrasts against the mechanical ship parts so nicely!

The appearance of the fabric of her uniform really makes it look so smooth and silky! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The creases in her outfit on the arms and elsewhere have all been captured perfectly! Not to mention that impressive bosom that really stands out with the tight-fitting outfit!

Each and every inch of the figure has been so carefully thought out to create all sorts of different textures through both the sculpt and paintwork! I’m sure you can feel the temperature difference with me when comparing the cold mechanical ship parts to Takao’s warm and soft looking body… !! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

This angle also captures the curve of her bottom so nicely! I could just stare at it for ages!! I really want to send out my feelings of thanks toward the sculptor for the amazing work!!

Nendoroid Osomatsu Matsuno

I saw they were selling oden in the convenience store yesterday and it make it feel even more like Autumn was well on the way! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure that recently went on sale…

Nendoroid Osomatsu Matsuno!

This figure has been lined-up on store shelves since yesterday! I hope everyone who picked him up has been giving him lots of love! You can find out more about the product over on the product page: http://www.goodsmile.info/en/product/5624/

The Osomatsu-san Nendoroid series has a slightly more compact packaging compared to most Nendoroids, but inside you will still find alternate expression parts, bent arm parts and accessories that make for all sorts of fun posing opportunities! (=´∀｀)人(´∀｀=)

Plus as you may have noticed the third expression is blank! You’ll find the stickers to place on this blank expression…

Attached to the back of the cardboard found in the box!

Let’s try sticking on of the expressions on the blank face!★


▽ First peel the thin sheet off the top of the sticker you want!

▽ Next, peel the sticker itself off the sheet… 

▽ Using the nose as a guide for the center, carefully place the eyes on the blank face.

▽ Then do the same for the mouth sticker!

Gently press on the stickers into place…

Nendoroid Co-de Haruka Amami & Miki Hoshii: Twinkle Star Co-de

I am still unable to accept that we are already headed into September from half way through this week! The temperatures are already headed toward Autumn weather but there are still many Summer things I need to do!! Like enjoy shaved ice at least three more times!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the latest in the Nendoroid Co-de series! ☆

The idols from THE IDOLMASTER PLATINUM STARS are joining the Nendoroid Co-de series! Apologies for the wait since they were announced at WonFes! There two will be up for preorder starting from tomorrow, the 30th August 2016! ヽ(´∀`｡)ﾉ

The outfits differ in various ways between the characters , but all have the same white-blue coloring with the golden stars that create an outfit that really is just perfect for idols! The reverse side of the outfits have also been very carefully sculpted!

Nendoroid Co-de Haruka Amami Twinkle Star Co-de!

From ‘THE IDOLMASTER PLATINUM STARS’ comes a Nendoroid Co-de figure of 765 Production’s Haruka Amami! She is wearing the ‘Twinkle Star’ outfit which was newly added to the PLATINUM STARS game!

The blue base outfit is filled with stars making it the perfect stage outfit for any idol wanting to shine on stage! Be sure to display her with Nendoroid Co-de Miki Hoshii: Twinkle Star Co-de which will be available for order at the same time!

Heading straight for her dreams! The bright and straightforward idol!

Haruka-san ready to spread her cheerful personality to all of her fans and her producer with her gentle, friendly smile! In place of her normal trademark ribbon this outfit has blue hair-clips! ♥

She is posed waving her hand while standing up on one leg for a pose very suiting to an idol on stage!

From the back you can see the pleated skirt with a golden line around it, as well as the lovely blue ribbon tired on the back and even the way her hair is curling around at the back! The attention to the smaller details is really such a pleasure to enjoy!!ヽ(●´Д｀●)ﾉ

Nendoroid Co-de Miki Hoshii: Twinkle Star Co-de!

Nendoroid Co-de is an addition to the Nendoroid series based on the theme of dressing-up characters! The figures have fixed poses and each come with four parts – the head, upper garment, lower garment and shoes. Each of these parts can be swapped between characters allowing for all sorts of possibilities. The more you collect, the more dress-up options become available to you!

In other words…! They are simple fixed pose Nendoroids, great for new collectors, with the ability to dress-up in various ways!

The two idols have switched outfits! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Swapping out the outfit also switches the entire pose for the character, which really creates a completely different feel for them! Plus, outfits can be switched around like this for any characters in the Nendoroid Co-de series, which means you can create some amazing original outfit combinations! ♥︎

For example, let’s take the two Aromageddon girls from PriPara and switch outfits with the IDOLM@STER girls!

Nendoroid Libeccio

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Libeccio!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Maestrale-class Italian destroyer, Libeccio! She comes with three face plates including her standard expression, a half-damaged expression as well as a cute chibi expression with clenched teeth.

She also comes with effect parts to display her turrets and torpedoes firing to display her in combat scenes! An emergency inflatable boat is also included which will allow Libeccio to help out her fellow ships! In addition, parts to recreate the limited edition Halloween outfit are also included allowing for even more posing opportunities! Be sure to add her to your fleet!

“Let me show what makes Italian destroyers so amazing! Nendoroid Libeccio, heading out!”

Lovely tanned skin, cute moe fang and no-sleeve sailor outfit! The Maestrale-class Italian destroyer, Libeccio is joining the Nendoroid series! The white, red and green colors of her outfit make one think of the Italian flag, with the scarf and skirt fluttering around giving her such a cute appearance! (∩・∀・)∩

Nendoroid Musashi!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the second Yamato-class battleship, Musashi! She comes with three face plates including her gallant standard expression, an embarrassed expression and a half-damaged expression.

Just like Nendoroid Yamato, her ship parts are attached with Nendoroid joints which allow them to be opened out. A smaller 46cm triple gun mount that attaches to her hips as well as two huge turrets that connect onto the main ship parts are included. Each turret also comes complete with effect parts which means you can pose her firing all her weapons in an all out attack!

A castella cake and sara udon are included as the usual KanColle food parts, and she also comes with parts that allow you to switch her into ‘Musashi Kai’ form! A special hand part for holding hands with the previously released Nendoroid Yamato is even included for some joint poses! Nendoroid Meta Knight

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! I love round things, which is to be expected as the human mind apparently is attracted to anything symmetrical!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Meta Knight!

From the popular ‘Kirby’ game series comes a Nendoroid of Meta Knight! Just like the previously released Nendoroid Kirby, Meta Knight makes use of magnets for posing, making his movements smooth and easy to place in all sorts of different positions!

He also comes with a selection of optional parts including his sword together with large effect parts to display him slashing with the sword. You can also display him wearing his cape as well as transformed into his flying version with interchangeable wing parts! He even comes with parts that allow you to change the direction he is looking allowing for all sorts of awesome Meta Knight poses!

I’ve been waiting for this one!! 

Following on from the previously released Nendoroid Kirby comes a similar Nendoroid of his rival – Meta Knight! While the design still has that cute Nendoroid appeal it also makes use of magnets just like Kirby which allow for all sorts of different posing opportunities!

Almost everyone in the offices as well as myself have absolutely loved Nendoroid Kirby, so getting another Nendoroid that makes use of the amazing magnet attachments makes me so happy!!

▲ Nendoroid Meta Night will also move with magnets like this!

There is currently a Kirby cafe being run which also makes use of Nendoroid Kirby!! The one in Tokyo starts tomorrow at Solamachi! I definitely need to go visit!

Palm-sized Balls of Cuteness! ♡

The design is quite different to normal Nendoroids, so there are a few frequently asked questions I want to clear up for fans of Meta Knight and Nendoroids! (｀･ω･´)

★How do you change the way he is looking?

The silver mask can be removed and then you simply need to replace the V-shaped eye parts! There are three different variations to match with your pose – one looking straight, one to the left and one to the right!

★Are the back accessories also magnets?

It wouldn’t be Meta Knight without his cape and wing parts! These parts however are not magnets, but instead simply attachable parts! The wings are in fact Nendoroid joins which allow you to pose him flying through the air and have the wings at various different angles!

▲ As a GIF it really looks like he is flapping his wings!

He also of course comes with a Nendoroid stand which means you can display the actual figure floating in the air as well as in various other poses!

★ How does he hold the sword?

Nendoroid Meta Knight’s hand parts can be swapped out at his shoulder armor. You simply need to switch to the right hand and then insert the sword into his hand!

★How do you make the effect parts look good?

The effect parts attach to the sword to make more a more epic, dynamic pose! The problem is that the weight of the effect parts makes posing quite difficult… but that is why the effect parts come with their own little stand to hold it up allowing for an amazing battle scene!

Nendoroid Koushi Sugawara

Today’s Main Feature!!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Koushi Sugawara!

From the popular volleyball manga series with a third anime season on the way, ‘Haikyu!!’ comes a Nendoroid of Karasuno High Boys’ Volleyball Club’s vice captain known as the ‘Indomitable Setter’ – Koushi Sugawara! He comes with three face plates including a standard face, a cheery smile as well as a huge smiling face for cheering on his teammates!

The Nendoroid allows you to recreate a number of memorable scenes from the series and also comes with a volleyball as well as a special base made in the image of a volleyball court. Be sure to display him with the other characters from the series and create all sorts of fun situations in Nendoroid size!

the ‘Indomitable Setter’ with a kind and gentle personality! The vice-captain of Karasuno High Boys’ Volleyball Club is joining the Nendoroids!

His gentle grey hair, short eyebrows and even the mole by his eye have all been faithfully included on his cute Nendoroid face! He also comes with a volleyball to hold which can also be posed on it’s own little stand to display the ball flying through the air during a match! ε=(｡・д・｡)

I think that makes this the longest running JUMP Nendoroid series! Looking at them all makes me want to rewatch the series!

Anyway, let’s get back to Suga-san with a look at his other face plates and optional parts! His second expression is this…
Cheery Smile!☆

This pose can be seen both in the manga as well as on the Vocaba card game! It captures his friendly personality so perfectly!!  It’s a little hard to see from this angle, but his hand is also sculpted to be making that ‘sign’!

The playful smile fits him so perfectly!

A Smiling Face to cheer on his team!!

This is the very face that allows the Karasuno volleyball team to put out even better than their best!! Just looking at it I also feel inspired to do anything!!

Placing him with any other characters from the series instantly creates an amazing scene that looks like it came straight from the series! That goes to show just how important Suga-san is in the series!! (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)*｡_｡)

You can also come up with all sorts of other poses by swapping out expressions and parts!★

The photo above is just his standard standing pose with the cheery expression and his arm placed out forward… it looks like he is waiting for a fist-bump!

As with the previous Haikyu! Nendoroids, he also comes with a stand made in the image of a volleyball court! ♪

The stand is also slightly larger than normal allowing you to display two characters together with ease! There are already five members from the Karasuno High Boys’ Volleyball Club!!

Good Smile Company 15th Anniversary Event

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

A typhoon hit Tokyo this morning and whenever a typhoon comes everyone eats croquettes! I was going to have one this morning and them completely forgot once I had left the house…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a quick look at what sort of things you can expect to see over at the Good Smile Company 15th Anniversary event that is currently running in Akihabara!

– Entrance –

Such a relaxing, foresty entrance! If you look close you’ll notice there are various Nendoroids hiding in the greenery!

The GSC Lab members all had great fun placing Nendoroids all over the entrance area, so be sure to take a look and see how they are all posed! There are some really fun ideas!

– Photo Spot –

Here you can fold your arms and take a photo and it makes you look like a super important person no matter who you are! Here we have an example!


– Sakura Kinomoto: Stars Bless You –

The Sakura Kinomoto: Stars Bless You figure is on display and is also still up for preorder! But only for a little while longer!!

You are also welcome to take your own photos at the event, so be sure to bring a camera!!

– Nendoroid –

All the Nendoroids starting from Nendoroid #000 all lined up on display in numerical order!

The little monitors above the displays are playing the Nendoroid 10th anniversary video along with various older commercials and promotional videos from GSC’s history! You can see the Nendoroid 10th anniversary video over on YouTube as well!

We also have a special section dedicated to everyone’s favorite virtual idol Hatsune Miku, as well as a special section showing off the Hatsune Miku by iDoll x Nendoroid!

– Scale Figures –

This section has all GSC’s scale figures and other sculpted works from through the years!

This section is really a trip down memory lane! It brings back so many memories of series that you enjoyed in the past, or figures that may have been lost in your collection!

We even have the rather rare Artwork Series: Red Eyes Black Dragon on display!!

You’ll find him over on the far left end of the display!

– Nendoroid Petites –

Even the Nendoroid Petites included with magazines and special editions are all on display on this wall of adorable characters! You may even find there are some Nendoroid Petites of characters you never even knew existed!

– Nendoroid More –

The ‘Nendoroid More’ series was a series that was started up by myself and the other new graduates in the GSC Lab team at the time! It’s amazing to see that the series has expanded to have such a broad line-up that makes Nendoroids all the more enjoyable! I was even the one who came up with the name for the series!!

– Latest Figures –

The room to the right of the entrance features these latest figures on display at the far back! This includes the most recent announcements such as Yotsugi Ononoki DX as well as a couple of upcoming figures that are not even up for preorder yet!

There are also various cards showing products that are currently in development!

Nendoroid Shielder/Matthew Kyrielite went up for preorder today! Be sure to take a look for more details!!

The Nendoroid More: Face Parts Case (American Shorthair / Panda) are both on sale at the event! Be sure to pick some up if you’re interested!

Nendoroid Ludens is also on display!

Nendoroid Musashi as well as various other upcoming KanColle Nendoroids and more!! Nendoroid Musashi is currently on sale at the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP but stock is limited, so don’t miss out!

– 15th Anniversary Corner –

We also have the dolls from Thunderbolt Fantasy on display at the event! It’s so amazing to think that these are the actual dolls that made up these amazing scenes… ヾ(；ω；)

We also have various artworks from overseas artists that work with GSC on display, as well as a GSR video on display!

You can also see the Robot Factory Manager video on the big screen!!

– Message Board –

So many lovely messages from so many amazing people! A big thank you to everyone who left behind a message!!

– Sales Section-

The sales section can be found in the right area of the event hall toward the very back! Note that many items have limited stock though!

Nendoroid Shielder/Matthew Kyrielite

Even if it gets a little hot I always rely on air conditioning… I don’t really mind the cold that much, but the Summer heat really gets to me…（´・ω・`）.;:…（´・ω…:.;::..（´・;::: .:.;: ..

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Shielder/Matthew Kyrielite!

From the hugely popular smartphone game ‘Fate/Grand Order’ comes a Nendoroid of the Shielder servant, Matthew Kyrielite! She comes with three face plates including her standard expression, a valiant combat expression as well as a smiling expression with a slight blush on her cheeks.

Optional parts include her Virtual Noble Phantasm ‘Lord Chaldeas’ and she also comes with an effect film sheet to faithfully recreate the use of the Noble Phantasm based on the scene from the game! Be sure to add Nendoroid Shielder/Matthew Kyrielite to your collection!

“Heading into combat. Give me orders, Master.”

From Fate/Grand Order comes a Nendoroid of the beautiful Shielder servant from Chaldea – Matthew Kyrielite! The kind and gentle Mashu to keep by your side to shield you from anything that might come your way! Although as you can see from the first photo she also comes with a serious, composed look perfect for battle scenes as well! ♥

She obviously comes with other parts to show the gentle side of her, which we will get to shortly… but first let’s take a closer look at her outfit and the sharp sculpting of the dress that almost looks more like a suit of armor due to the design!

▲The care skin you can see through the gaps is also lovely!

The paintwork also has a heavy, metallic appearance that contrasts against her skin really nicely! The gloves and boots are also highly detailed down to the various little accessories on them, and just look at those cute little fingers!

Obviously it’s not just her outfit that looks great though – the clear purple eyes have a kind of wistful feel to them and her hair looks so smooth and silky! Plus her lovely body looks just as amazing in Nendoroid size!

▲ Even though she doesn’t show much skin there is something sexy about her design!

Anyway, let’s move onto her expressions and optional parts! =͟͟͞͞(๑•̀д•́๑=͟͟͞͞(๑•̀д•́๑=͟͟͞͞(๑•̀д•́๑)

Along with the cool and composed standard expression with her mouth closed, she also comes with this valiant…
Combat Expression!

The open mouth as if shouting at her opponent and those sharp eyes focused on the battle ahead! Mashu is in full combat mode now!!  ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ ｸﾞｯ !

Plus as you can see the reverse side of her shield is also fully detailed!

▲ Even in Nendoroid proportions the shield has quite an impressive size!

She also comes with a special Effect Film that allows you to display her making use of her Noble Phantasm, Lord Chaldeas! ♡₍₍ ◝(・ω・)◟ ⁾⁾♡

▲ The effect film has a nice transparent appearance!


Let’s move on to her third expression part…

A gentle smiling expression!♡

The difference between this expression and the combat expression is such a huge gap, but they both capture different sides of Mashu so nicely! She is so lovely!! The ever so slight blushes in her cheeks also capture her sincere feelings for her master!!

Plus if we take a look from the back…! ♫

She comes with special parts that allow you to easily pose her with her arms held behind her in this adorable pose!! Plus, the right eye that is normally covered up by her hair is of course faithfully on all the expressions, so take a look once she joins your collection! ☆

Ciel Alencon & Alisa Illinichina Amiella: Bunny Ver.

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer break! A big thanks to everyone who took the time to visit out booth at Comiket 90 last weekend! (*´ω`*)

FREEing’s bunny girl series, making the Summer even hotter! This time around I’m taking a look at two lovely characters from GOD EATER 2 RAGE BURST!

♥ Ciel Alencon: Bunny Ver. ♥

From the popular game ‘GOD EATER 2 RAGE BURST’ comes a figure of the BLOOD member Ciel Alencon wearing a bunny girl outfit – an outfit that you probably never thought you would see her wearing!

The difference between the usual image of Ciel as a fighter and the look of her in a sexy bunny girl outfit makes for an amazing contrast. The figure makes use of real net tights and the impressive bosom almost bursting from her outfit is ready to grab all the attention in your collection! Whenever I see one of FREEing’s bunny girl figures I’m always impressed with the realistic glossy appearance of the outfit!

It’s such a strange thing to think that both her skin and the outfit are made from the exact same material, and the only thing that really differs is the paint! It’s incredible with figure artisans can do!! ( ;∀;)

The shadows formed by the muscles and bones in her back have been sculpted and painted with lovely detail! This angle from the back also makes it that you can tell she is looking your way and yet just can’t quite see her eyes!

The bracelet part on her arm is also included even in her bunny outfit! I think that means that even in this outfit she can still make use of her God Arc! (*Imagination Intensifies*)


The curves of her hips, belly button and down to her thighs!

The tight bunny outfit allows you to make out each and every little bend of her beautiful body! Be sure to take a nice close look and enjoy her to the fullest once she joins your collection!

The figure makes use of real net tights and is a huge size ready to grab all the attention in your collection! Be sure to display her with the previously announced Ciel Alencon: Bunny Ver.!

Alisa is in a sitting pose! I would be happy to receive this reward!!

I just can’t get enough of that lovely bottom!! I’m sure you all agree! Right?! The way that her hair tries to cover up her bare back but still shows off a little bit of it is such a tempting treat for the eyes! ( ;∀;)

Just like Ciel the bunny suit really shows off her stunning figure – all the way down to the shape and size of her belly button! The cuffs on her wrists also make a lovely set with the bunny suit! (*’ω’*)


I just want to dive in!! (Did I say that out loud…?)

Her impressive bosom is one thing, but at 1/4th scale size you could probably use her soft looking hips or thighs as a cushion! I’m not sure they would be overly comfortable though!

Also just like Ciel, she comes with her bracelet part sculpted in intricate detail! The tiny little holes of her net tights also makes the ‘Kahotan Blog’ watermark in the bottom right corner rather hard to see! 

Relax after a hard day of battle with bunny girls by your side!

Good Smile Company 15th Anniversary Event

Today I’m going to take a look at how to get to the Good Smile Company 15th Anniversary Event Hall from Akihabara station! We’re going to be there from the 20th August to the 4th September, so we do hope that fans come along to enjoy the display and goods sales!

The event will be held at 3331 Arts Chiyoda, so let’s take a look at how to get there!

*Note that I’m not known to be the best at giving directions! Everything written in BLUE is the basic explanation on how to get there!

Anyway, let’s get started!

We start at JR Akihabara Station’s ‘Electric Town’ Exit!

At the ticket gate, turn right toward Akihabara UDX!

After you turn right, UDX will be right in front of you!

Continue straight until you see Sofmap on the left, turn toward it and head toward the main road!

Once you have crossed, if you look on the other side of the road you’ll be able to see the AKIBA Culture’s ZONE Building where you can find the GOOD SMILE x animate Cafe Akihabara!

We need to get to the other side of the road now, so cross the street twice here!


You should see a Sunkus convenience store, head straight past it until you find a Sukiya ! ⊂(⊂ ‘ω’)

Turn left just before the Sukiya!

You’ll come to a fairly open road, head straight…

This is where the event will be held! 

This is 3331 Arts Chiyoda!★

3331 Arts Chiyoda is an art center that makes use of an old school building! There is one basement floor and three other floors and the building features and art gallery, office and even a cafe! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The event itself is currently being setup, but there will be lots to see!!


You can get a tiny little sneak peek from this tweet! We plan to have nearly every scale figure and Nendoroid released by GSC on display! ♡

There will also be product sales at the event, so be sure to save up some money when you come too! The building also has a nice little park area to sit about at and relax once you have seen the event!

As a side note, there are lots of Pokestops in Akihabara… so if you’re aiming to be the very best it’s a great place to train!!


Come through and have a nice relaxing time!! Just be careful of the heat!
