Yotsugi Ononoki DX

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! Even though I don’t really intend to, I’m often told I have a smug look on my face…

But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…






▲ As she has a throne and plushies, I decided to display her on various different chairs and with various other plushies!

The 1/8th Scale…
Yotsugi Ononoki DX!

From the Monogatari Series final season ‘Tsukimonogatari’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the tsukumogami created from a corpse, Yotsugi Ononoki! The figure is based on the cover illustration of the ‘Tsukimonogatari Volume 1 / Yotsugi Doll (Part 1)’ Blu-ray & DVD.

Yotsugi’s cute appearance sitting on a large throne has been faithfully recreated, complete with throne and all! The DX version also includes all the plushie dolls scattered around the bottom of the throne to completely recreate the original illustration! The most intricate of details have all been faithfully converted into figure form for fans to enjoy in their collection!

The silent yet sharp-tongued Ononoki-chan as a 1/8th scale figure! Everything that makes her character has been preserved so well in the figure! The strange thingy on her head, the unique color of her bluish-greenish hair, somewhat expressionless face, eyes with such a lovely gradient, bright orange outfit that is sure to catch the eye, striped knee-high socks and even those yellow wellingtons! Every detail from head to toe has been faithfully recreated! 

Plus as if Ononoki wasn’t cute enough by herself, the huge throne and all the little plushie dolls at her feet just add so much to the figure! The contrast between Ononoki-chan’s rather stiff expression and the cute, fluffy faces on the plushies is such a treat to the eyes! Not to mention the lovely mix of colors between the back of the throne, Ononoki’s outfit and the various plushies! 

I’m sure there are many fans who already got a nice look at the painted prototype that was on display during WonFes, but now she is almost ready for preorders to start! ( `∀`)

I’ve covered most of my highlights on the figure with the rather long text above, so now we’re going to go into photo mode! I hope everyone enjoys!

She always look so adorable!! ( ;∀;)

Looking at, taking photos of and talking about amazing figures like this one is always such a pleasure! (*´ω`*)
While I was taking the photos I talked to so many people that passed by about how cute she was!  (*´ω`*)

I still remember when Ononoki-chan first appeared in the anime (I was still in college at the time!), I had a good, uplifting feeling about her that I could never really explain! To think that she would then come out as this lovely figure for me to review… I think my initial feeling about her was a premonition of this figure coming! Just look at how great she looks!

Before I took photos I tried to figure out where to focus on to show more of the details of the figure, and this is one of the areas that really stood out for me…

▼ The origami in her right hand!

One single folded origami crane lying in the hand of a listless arm. The crane was of course always in the original illustration, but somehow seeing it sculpted into the 3D world really makes it stand out in a special new way! It’s hard to explain exactly why, but it really looks lovely!

Personally I love the amount of detail that has been put into the various plushies, but for those who think she will take up too much space or perhaps be a little too much over budget, we are also going to be selling a simple version without all the plushies!

Yotsugi Ononoki

Nendoroid Deadpool: Orechan Edition

The hot Summer days are set to continue so I’ve started listening to Christmas songs to cool down my mind at the very least. Winter songs always sound great to me… perhaps even more so in Summer!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Deadpool: Orechan Edition!

From the movie ‘Deadpool’ comes a Nendoroid of Deadpool himself! His outfit has been shrunk down into a cute Nendoroid figure which comes with a variety of different expression patterns which can changed by swapping out the left and right eyes separately! He even comes with parts to display him with hearts popping out of his eyes!

A selection of comic speech-bubbles which allow you to pose him saying some of his classic lines and interchangeable parts which allow you to display him showing off his sexy heart-shaped underwear are included. The Nendoroid is also able to stand without the need of a Nendoroid stand – as long as you balance him carefully! Plus, as a part of the fully articulated ‘Edition’ series of Nendoroids you can enjoy all sorts of fun Deadpool-style action scenes when posing! Be sure to add him to your collection!

Deadpool is joining the Nendoroids!

The irresponsible hero that would rather fight for himself than peace or mankind – Deadpool is joining the Nendoroids! All of the little details of his outfit have been carefully shrunk down to Nendoroid size recreating the character that nobody could really hate in adorable chibi size! ♪


Even the slack part at the top of his head has been faithfully sculpted!

As you might be able to tell from the photos his elbows and knees are fully articulated allowing for many more poses and the ability to recreate even more of your favorite scenes from the comics or movie! (・ω・)/

His katana can also be removed from the scabbards and held in both hands!


You can just picture him ridiculing his opponent before jumping up, pulling out his swords for the attack! ₍₍ ◝(‘ω’◝) ⁾⁾ ₍₍ (◟’ω’)◟ ⁾⁾و

He also comes with various hand parts including thumbs-up parts, clenched fists and even this hand with his index finger pointed out!

Plus he also comes with a couple of comic speech bubbles to pose around him to bring out the comic atmosphere even more! ☆

Nendoroid Rem

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I spent the weekend at home getting to know my air conditioning better! We’ve moved into the late Summer and the heat is quite unbearable at the moment! The hot days are due to continue for awhile, so make sure to drink plenty of liquids and look after your body! Especially if you’re going to Comiket this weekend!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Rem!

From the anime series ‘Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes a Nendoroid of Rem, one of the maids at the Roswaal mansion. Her cute maid uniform has been carefully converted into Nendoroid size and her standard expression is based on the scene where she first met Subaru and had a bit of an untrusting, cold gaze. She also comes with a smiling expression for much more cheerful poses!

Her third expression is the memorable ‘oni’ expression from the series, and she also comes with alternate front hair parts with a horn in order to fully recreate the oni form. Her morning star is also included in two different forms – one with a static chain for dynamic action poses as well as one with a real chain. Enjoy all sorts of different sides of Rem with the Nendoroid!

The younger of the two maids that serve at the Roswaal mansion, Rem is joining the Nendoroids! ♥

Her calm and composed eyes and that cute yet defenceless mouth that is slightly open… her expression from the series has been captured so effectively in Nendoroid size! The slightly mysterious air about her character has also been preserved very nicely!

The purple flower-shaped ribbon in the hair as well as amazing frills on the white and black maid outfit have all been sculpted so beautifully!

The tailcoat design on the back also looks lovely! ♪

At first Rem is the composed maid with a rather sharp tongue… but fans of the series will know she has various other expressions as well! So let’s move on to her second expression…
A lovely smiling expression! ♥

“Let’s start from here. From step one… no, from zero!”

This smile makes everything better!! (´□｀｡)

Just remembering this scene makes me feel all happy inside! But then we move onto the other side of Rem’s character… an expression to prove that she is an oni with incredible power!!


An Oni Expression! (/ω＼)

Plus she also comes with alternate front hair parts with her oni horn showing to complete the transformation!

The hair not only has the horn, but also no longer completely covers up her left eye, faithfully recreating the change from her calm human form into the chaotic oni form!

Just look at those maddened eyes and the grinning expression!

Plus, her ‘morning star’ weapon comes in two different versions – one with the chain locked in place for some dynamic scenes of her swinging the chain around, as well as another with an actual chain that allows you to move the weapon around into all sorts of poses! ★

Nendoroid Musashi

One day I want to eat box of castella cakes as a full single cake! Ever since I saw it in an anime it’s been a little dream of mine…

But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…!
Nendoroid Musashi!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the second Yamato-class battleship, Musashi! She comes with three face plates including her gallant standard expression, an embarrassed expression and a half-damaged expression.

Just like Nendoroid Yamato, her ship parts are attached with Nendoroid joints which allow them to be opened out. A smaller 46cm triple gun mount that attaches to her hips as well as two huge turrets that connect onto the main ship parts are included. Each turret also comes complete with effect parts which means you can pose her firing all her weapons in an all out attack!

A castella cake and sara udon are included as the usual KanColle food parts, and she also comes with parts that allow you to switch her into ‘Musashi Kai’ form! A special hand part for holding hands with the previously released Nendoroid Yamato is even included for some joint poses! Enjoy all sorts of situations with the huge selection of parts included with Nendoroid Musashi!

The darker skin with contrasting white hair, impressive bosom wrapped up tight and the deep red eyes with thin glasses… everything about the battleship has been faithfully included on Nendoroid Musashi! ♥

The ship parts on her hips also have amazing detail and the amount they can be moved around is absolutely amazing!

The connection parts on the left and right are Nendoroid joints which allow the parts to be moved in various angles and even open outward for some epic looking poses

The combination of the blushing cheeks and the fact that she is kind of averting her gaze still keeps her cool appearance but has a very different feeling to the previous expression! The pose here is very similar to that of the first photo of the blog, but the change in expression gives it such a different atmosphere! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

Moving on to her third expression…

A  half-damaged expression!

Where did that cool and composed Musashi disappear to?! Her eyes suddenly look like they are about to burst into tears, and I can’t help but want to jump in and save her from anything that might be trying to attack her!

She also comes with a huge selection of turret effect parts, so you can display her going all out! ★

“These turrets aren’t just for show!”

As you may have noticed, she comes with both the smaller 46cm turrets to connect on her hips as well as versions the same size as the ones on her back turrets!

Nendoroid Keigo Atobe

I have never been able to keep up a rally in tennis. I haven’t even held a tennis racket since I was in middle school…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at ORANGE ROUGE’s…
Nendoroid Keigo Atobe!

A Provocative Smile!

Those challenging eyes and huge grin on his face… he is just oozing with confidence!! (;・`д・́)

Plus he also comes with this special item to bring out the atmosphere of the series even more for Atobe-sama!! ★

Two panels to recreate his signature move ‘Atobe Kingdom’ are included, and each also come with special attachment parts to stand them up! The inner cardboard sheet of the packaging will also include this tennis court and net which you can cut out and make into this court for Atobe-sama to play on!

Nendoroid Elise

I can’t believe we’re already in August! I have to do something summerish soon! At the very least I’ll get some shaved ice sometime this week! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Elise!♡

From the popular game ‘Fire Emblem Fates’ comes the bright and cheerful youngest child of the Nohr royal family – Elise! She comes with three different face plates including a standard expression, a cute smiling expression as well as an upset expression with her cheeks puffed up.

Optional parts include a ‘Heal’ staff as well as healing effect parts allowing you to display her healing her allies on the field as a Troubadour. Her trusty steed is also included in the special color scheme unique to Elise, allowing you to really bring the Fire Emblem universe to life in your collection! Enjoy the cute and innocent Elise in your collection!

The youngest child of the Nohr royal family is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

The unique rolled appearance of her blond hair as well as her innocent, friendly eyes are so lovely! She holds a ‘Heal’ staff in both hands which has also been carefully shrunk down to Nendoroid size! Her pink, white and black outfit is also nicely detailed down to the little accessories and ribbons!!

Plus she even comes with a horse in matching colors!

Not only can Elise actually be posed riding on the horse, but the front legs are also articulated allowing you to pose her galloping along the battlefield! ♪

It’s more like an entire second figure rather than an optional part! Quite similar to the Pegasus previously included with Nendoroid Sheeda: New Mystery of the Emblem Edition!

She also comes with some sparkling healing effect parts! ☆

Perfect for her starting class as a Troubadour! Ready to head out and heal her allies! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

She also comes with this adorable expression which would make anyone want to protect that innocent smile of the young princess!!

A warm, cheerful smiling expression! (｡☌ᴗ☌｡)

Here it looks like she is gently petting her horse – she could be complimenting her on a good job out in the battlefield, or just cheerfully talking to her as a close friend!

Either way, the smile really captures Elise’s gentle side!

As such a cute character I’m sure there were many players like me that did whatever they could to keep Elise safe on the battlefield to help protect this smile from any danger! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

Onto her third expression…!☆

An upset expression to capture the more childish, spoilt side of her personality!

The way her cheeks are all puffed up is so adorable!! Elise plays an important role in the series, but she also needs to have an expression that captures her young age! (*’∀’人）

As you can see, the various parts and expressions allow you to enjoy all sorts of different scenes from combat down to everyday scenes! Enjoy the adorable charm of the young Nohr princess in your Nendoroid collection!

Kahotan Post Office: Summer & Figures 2016 Edition – Part 2

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I have recently become quite addicted to tokoroten! Just combine the included flavouring with lots of Japanese peppers and a blend of spices and it makes for such an amazing food!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be continuing to look at some of the photos that were went in to Kahotan Post Office! You can find the previous post below!

The theme this time around was…
Summer & Figures!!

We are already into August! Is everyone enjoying their Summer?! I have started sleeping with the air-con on, increased by daily ice-cream intake to two per day and enjoyed all the signs in stores saying they have started serving chilled Chinese noodles! I even saw a fireworks festival the other day! …on the news!

Good Smile Company will also be attending various events including the upcoming Comic Market! Take a look at the event information page for more details!

I completed my doll house in time for the Summer and snapped a photo to commemorate. There is nothing that says Summer more like enjoying some watermelon on the veranda!

I went on a trip to New York and visited the fountain that appeared in the LoveLive! movie. Rin-chan and Kayochin are enjoying some ice cream by the fountain!

No matter where you go in Summer it’s always so very hot….
It’s days like that that I really enjoy some ice-cream together with Snow Miku-san in a nice air conditioned car. I’m glad that Snow Miku seems so cheerful even through the Summer! (^^♪

I might be wrong… but isn’t that the ‘White Lovers’ ice-cream?! I’m jealous… both because I want some of the ice cream and because spending Summer is Snow Miku seems like so much fun! ♪

Because I couldn’t go to the beach, I made a beach diorama for my Nendoroid Sakura and Tomoyo to enjoy the summer.

I also haven’t had the chance to go to the beach this year, but just looking at Sakura-chan and Tomoyo-chan enjoying the beach makes me feel like I’ve also enjoyed a lovely time at the beach!

Momo Belia Deviluke & Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver.

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! I am determined to one day add Dress-Up: Bunny Girls to the Nendoroid More series at some stage!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at these two with preorder deadlines fast approaching!

Momo Belia Deviluke: Bunny Ver.
& Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver.!

This is the second of FREEing’s bunny girl figure series that I’ve reviewed with Miyuki Usami and Miya Usami being the first!

I fall more in love with the series the more I look at them!

The preorder deadline for these two is coming up quickly so I really wanted to do a review of them before time runs out! Let’s take a closer look at them one-by-one!

Momo Belia Deviluke: Bunny Ver.
“Let’s make a paradise filled with bunny girls!”



From the popular series ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a collection of the girls wearing bunny girl outfits! The first in the series is Momo Belia Deviluke wearing a lovely pink bunny girl outfit and placed in a cute sitting pose hoping you’ll come and sit by her side – the perfect entrance into the bunny girl paradise!

The figure is an impressive 1/4 scale in size and features net tights made from actual fabric for a more realistic appearance filled with highlights to enjoy! Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver. is also scheduled to be up for preorder soon, so be sure to add both of them to your collection!

If you look at her from a slightly higher angle you get that upward sideways glance that looks so adorable!! The blush on her cheeks also gets the mind racing as to what she might be thinking about!

They look like nice healthy, slender legs and the net thighs combined with high heels are just the basics of a perfect bunny girl outfit!! (੭ु´･ω･`)੭ु⁾⁾

Yep. Simply Lovely…! ♥

The best thing about figures is that you can enjoy your favorite characters from all sorts of angles, and the fact that this is a sitting pose makes this angle all the more enjoyable! I really thank the sculptor for all the lovely angles like this one!!

Tail! ♥

Momo’s cute tail has also been faithfully included on the figure! The feeling of the tail’s movement as she lifts it up has been captured so nicely!

There are no words for how much I like this!

Anyway, let’s move onto the second main feature for today!

Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver.
“Is this the kind of thing you’re into?”

From the popular series ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a collection of the girls wearing bunny girl outfits! The second in the series is Golden Darkness wearing a black bunny girl outfit that contrasts her golden hair beautifully for an effect true to her name. Even though she has a rather unconcerned look on her face, she is in a pose that reaches a new scale of sexiness for fans to enjoy!

The figure is an impressive 1/4 scale in size and features net tights made from actual fabric for a more realistic appearance filled with highlights to enjoy! Be sure to display her with the previously announced Momo Belia Deviluke: Bunny Ver. and create your own To Love-Ru bunny girl harem!

The cute expression with her mouth open ever so slightly as if about to say something really gets the imagination running! I personally love looking at the expression and pose of figures and trying to figure out what they might be thinking and feeling! I wonder if that’s just me or if all figure fans do that too!

The way her arms are posed behind her back… this angle gives her expression a bit of a sad, wistful appearance!

The flow of her hair is fantastic! ♡

The sculpting of her hair is absolutely amazing, but also take a look at the pose from the back! It almost looks like she is trying to protect her bottom with her hands from this angle!

 The way her body is curved is also lovely! ♡

The pushed out modest chest really makes me feel rather empathic as well as rather excited!! I keep explaining how the figure makes me feel more than explaining the figure itself… I get the feeling I’m going to get into trouble for that soon, but…
