Nendoroid Sakura Kinomoto: Tomoeda Junior High Uniform Ver.

From the popular anime series currently airing, “Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card” comes a Nendoroid of the main character Sakura Kinomoto wearing her Tomoeda Junior High school uniform!

She comes with three face plates including a cheerful standard expression, a charming smile as well as a flustered expression. The Nendoroid also includes her Dream Wand, her pink teddy bear and a school bag allowing for various different poses!

“We’ll be together forever from now on!”

From the latest addition to the Cardcaptor saga, “Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card”, comes a Nendoroid of Sakura-chan wearing her Tomoeda Junior High school uniform! ☆

The red lines that make make the outfit stand out have been faithfully included on the Nendoroid design!

The side twirls at the back of her hair have also been included on the Nendoroid design! They will be made from a slightly flexible plastic to ensure that it doesn’t snap off!

She comes with both left and right hand parts to display her holding the staff like above! In addition to the staff she also comes with her school bag….

My blood type is A, which is often said to be bad at keeping things neat and tidy. It certainly fits in my case, so I’m happy to stick with that identity! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Ryunosuke Tanaka (Haikyu!)

Whenever my wind wanders I often find myself eating melon pan. It’s even better after 10 seconds in the microwave! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Ryunosuke Tanaka!

From the popular volleyball manga series with an equally popular anime, ‘Haikyu!!’, comes a Nendoroid of Karasuno High School Volleyball Club’s up-and-coming ace, Ryunosuke Tanaka! He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a provoking expression as well as the Buddha expression he would sometimes use when talking with his teammates.

The Nendoroid allows you to recreate a number of memorable scenes from the series and also comes with a volleyball as well as a special base made in the image of a volleyball court. Ryunosuke is the last member of the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club to join the Nendoroid series, so be sure to display him with all his teammates and recreate your favorite situations from the series! Nendoroid Yu Nishinoya is also being rereleased at the same time! (sold separately)

“You’re not the only one that can get us out of trouble, Asahi-san!”

From the anime series “Haikyu!” comes a Nendoroid of Karasuno High School Volleyball Club’s up-and-coming ace, Ryunosuke Tanaka! ★

His iconic hairstyle has been captured on the Nendoroid by creating head and face plates that combine directly together to preserve that perfectly rounded look! (*´ｪ`*)

The base is a volleyball court-style base as usual!

A special long and articulated stand together with a ball are also included allowing you to display him showing off his skill on the court!

He comes with three face plates! The first is the confident smile you can see above, and the second is this provoking expression that captures his character nicely! ★

The Buddha expression! (廿人廿)

I’m pretty sure anyone who isn’t a fan of the series would be rather baffled by this face plate! But it’s an amazing addition!

The unique eyes are lovely, but also note that the lips have been not just painted, but actually sculpted onto the face plate! ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

The contrast with the provoking expression is lovely!

The expressive Ryunosuke can be displayed in all sorts of fun ways! Be sure to play around and find your best if you decide to pick him up!

Nendoroid Nanachi (Made in Abyss)

I love fluffy things, they always make me feel at ease… cute plushies are of course great, but even things like beanbag chairs are always a pleasure!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Nanachi!

From the popular anime series “Made in Abyss” comes a Nendoroid of the fluffy “Narehate” Nanachi! The Nendoroid comes with three face plates including a cute smiling face, the embarrassed expression from when Reg came closer as well as a mesmerised expression. Optional parts include a little figure of Nanachi’s close friend Mitty as well as a shallow-fried Gankimasu fish allowing for various different situations. Be sure to add the bizarrely adorable Nanachi to your collection!

A Nendoroid of the “Hollow” Nanachi together with Mitty!

From the anime series that already has a sequel in the works, “Made in Abyss” comes a Nendoroid of Nanachi as a “Hollow” who survived the 6th layer’s curse of the Abyss! Just looking at the Nendoroid makes me think of the cute “Naaa” voice!!

Nanachi’s huge helmet has been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size and has an impressive amount of detail to boot! ε=(｡・д・｡)

▲ The back “hair” of the helm is huge and amazingly detailed!

Nanachi also comes with a little figure of Mitty!

Mitty looks even cuter than ever in chibi Nendoroid size!♡

But let’s get back to Nanachi! ♪

Nanachi comes with three different face plates, the first of which is the gentle smile you can see above, and the second is this embarrassed expression from when Reg came close! ε-(o´ω｀o)

▲ The tears welling up in the eyes are also great! Nanachi needs a hug!!

Nendoroid Reinhard von Lohengramm (Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These)

Whenever I see those “space foods” that are identical to the ones that astronauts buy I always try one! My favorite so far was the chocolate cake! I would happily eat it all the time!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Reinhard von Lohengramm!

From the anime series “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These” comes a Nendoroid of the indomitable hero of the Galactic Empire, Reinhard von Lohengramm! He has been sculpted wearing his admiral uniform and comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a shouting expression and a smiling expression.

Optional parts include the extravagant captain’s set from the Brünhild flagship, allowing you to display him as if seated in the bridge. A Kelsey cake baked by his older sister Annerose is also included to display with him. Be sure to add Reinhard to your collection and enjoy all sorts of situations in cute Nendoroid size!

The Indomitable Hero.

From the anime series “Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These” comes a Nendoroid of tahe military genius with blond hair and ice blue eyes, Reinhard von Lohengramm! His stylish black admiral uniform has been converted into adorable Nendoroid size! ♪

▲ The flow of his hair has also been captured nicely! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

He comes with three face plates, the first of which is his calm and composed standard expression you can see above, and his second is a shouting expression to display him confidently commanding his forces!

▲ You can just imagine his astute voice!

In addition, he also comes with a Captain’s Seat based on the seat of the bridge from Brünhild flagship! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Along with the fancy seat, he also comes with an interchangeable lower body part to display him seated on it with crossed legs!

The paintwork of the seat is one thing, but also note the textures of the cushion and details of the back rest! It really is one magnificent chair! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

▲It’s beyond the level of optional parts! It’s like a whole extra figure! ☆

The seated look is great with the shouting expression to display him giving orders…

But the exact same pose with a different arm and face plate can suddenly make for a much more brooding appearance! (´□｀｡)

Nendoroid Saber/Miyamoto Musashi (Fate/Grand Order)

A pleasure to meet you everyone! My name is Takamii (@gsc_takamii) from GSC’s  planning department! Some of you may know me from the GSC Lab blog, but my love for FGO has led to me writing some FGO related blogs here on Kahotan blog as well!

Without further ado, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Saber/Miyamoto Musashi

From the popular smartphone game “Fate/Grand Order” comes a Nendoroid of “Shinmen Musashi-no-Kami Fujiwara no Harunobubu” or as she is better known, Saber/Miyamoto Musashi! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression brimming with self-confidence, an ambitious combat expression as well as a kittenish expression for when she has her favorite food.

A selection of text and background plates allow you to recreate the famous scene from “”The Tournament of the Seven Blade-Master Heroic Spirits”” episode, and the parts can also be used in various other combinations to recreate various situations in Nendoroid size! Be sure to summon the female swordsman who travels to world into your Nendoroid collection!

“Let me show you the true essence of the Five Rings!”

At long last! Musashi-chan is joining the Nendoroids!

Available for summoning for the first time during the 2017 New Year Campaign, she played a large role in the FGO 1.5 “The Tournament of the Seven Blade-Master Heroic Spirits” episode and also featured in the 2.0 commercial! Now at long last she is also joining the Nendoroid series for everyone to enjoy by their side!!

Let’s get on with the review! ☆

The figure is sculpted based on her Stage 2 ascension, and you can see the intricate details of the flower pattern on her sash and the maple leaf pattern on the red part of her outfit!

The figure also of course allows you to enjoy her appearance from the back! Something you don’t get to see very often in the game! The patterns and ambience of her traditional Japanese-style outfit have been captured beautifully!

In addition, her swords are included in both sheathed and drawn versions allowing for many different posing opportunities!


*Gudako is not included!

Along with the face plate above, she also comes with this imposing shouting face plate for combat scenes!

She is normally such a gentle soul, so the contrast between that and this expression is lovely! Effect parts that represent Fire and Water which can be attached to her swords are also included!

The parts make use of a semi-transparent look that looks so pretty! They can also be removed to display her with just standard swords!

But that’s not all! She also comes with a selection of optional parts that bring back the famous scenes from the “The Tournament of the Seven Blade-Master Heroic Spirits” episode!

▲ Great fun to display with other Nendoroid servants!

The episode really was one of the most awesome so far, which is why we included these plates to bring back the episode with the Nendoroid!!

Anyway, moving onto her third face plate… we have an adorable kittenish expression!

Along with the expression we also have a bowl of her favorite food – Udon! You can even see the green onion on the top! She seems to be enjoying it so much that I kind of feel like going to have some udon now!

Bonus Shot: Miyamoto Musashi sharing some of her udon!! 

I can just imagine myself  feeling slightly embarrassed while still happily accepting as she looks at me with this cute expression… that will be the day that I achieve true “Emptiness”!

Nendoroid Kamina (Gurren Lagann)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Kamina!

From the popular anime series “Gurren Lagann” comes a Nendoroid of Kamina! He comes with three face plates including a standard grinning expression that captures his personality perfectly, a shouting expression, as well as the famous “Later Buddy” expression. His iconic sunglasses are also include in both a solid and transparent version and his cape can be attached and removed allowing for all sorts of different display options!

In addition, his sword has been included with an oversized sculpt to capture the large appearance in the series and he also comes with alternate lower body parts to display him sitting, together with cockpit parts to display him as if seated inside the cockpit to completely recreate his famous last moment. Be sure to add the long-awaited Nendoroid Kamina to your collection!

“Who the hell do you think I am?!”

From the anime series that celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, “Gurren Lagann” comes a Nendoroid of the charismatic and passionate bro, Kamina!

His iconic red sunglasses, unique outfit, fit-looking body…

… even the back of his cape and his impressively large sword have all been faithfully included on the Nendoroid’s design! ♪

He also features ball joints in his hips and ankles which allow him to be placed in the classic heroic looking pose above! (∩・∀・)∩

In addition, he comes with two different types on sunglasses – one translucent version that allows you to see his eyes, as well as this solid version! ★

▲You can also display him with no sunglasses for even more variations!

His upper body has been sculpted while carefully keeping his muscular build in mind, which made for a sculpt with a much fitter looking appearance in comparison to most Nendoroids!

▲ I don’t think I’ve ever seen much manly arms on a Nendoroid before…!

As you can see, his cape can also be removed! ★

This allows for even more possibilities when placing him on display!

Along with the different sunglasses, Kamina also comes with three different plates! The first is the standard grinning expression above, and the second is a shouting expression!

Before we look at this third face plate…

I managed to get hold of the planner, Tori Bird, and sculptor, Shashaki, to ask them about their personal highlights of the figure are! ٩( ᐛ )و

Planner: Tori Bird’s Highlight Point:
Pierce the Heavens Arm Parts

Kamina’s upper-body is bare which is pretty unique for a Nendoroid, and made us focus on the muscles of the body. When he has his arm pointed to the heavens, you can see the deltoid muscle near his shoulder as well as his biceps nicely, really bringing out that manly appearance! The special arm that is included for the pose also creates a lovely curve from his arm down to his flank!

Plus as you may have noticed, the size of the hand has also been made slightly larger to emphasize the pose even further! I really think it captures Kamina’s personality nicely, and I also really hope that this doesn’t have to end with just Kamina…!!

Sculptor: Shashaki’s Highlight Point:
Cape Paintwork

The cape design was based on the original designs for the series, but we also wanted to pay respect to perhaps the most well-known Kamina figure there is, the Gurren Lagann Series Kamina by eyeup! The paintwork for the Nendoroid was in fact done by the exact same person who was in charge of the paintwork on eyeup’s figure, capturing the same blending of colors on the Nendoroid!

The way the colors meld into each other do look lovely!

But anyway, without further ado, here is his third face plate…

A “Farewell, Buddy” Expression and a cockpit part!!

The complete set of part to recreate perhaps the most memorable scene in the series! (´□｀｡)

It really is a Nendoroid that has been made by those who themselves are huge fans of the series, and have not spared any details on the sculpt, paintwork or optional parts! I hope that fans will enjoy adding the Nendoroid to their collection and bringing out the world of Gurren Lagann right by their side!!

Nendoroid Lively Lillie (Pokémon)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Lively Lillie!

From the popular “Pokémon” game series comes a Nendoroid of Lillie once she’s found her confidence and determination – Lively Lillie! She comes with three face plates including a standard smiling face, an upset expression with her cheeks puffed-up as well as a cute smiling expression with her eyes closed.

Optional parts include her backpack, a Heal Ball as well as her companion Pokémon from Pokémon Ultra Sun/Pokémon Ultra Moon – Clefairy! Be sure to add the cute and confident Nendoroid Lively Lillie to your collection!

“No one could call you lily-livered!”

A Nendoroid of Lillie once she’s found her confidence and determination – Lively Lillie has been transformed into a Nendoroid! The cute white and light blue outfit has been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size! ٩( ᐛ )و

Her lovely long hair has been tied into a ponytail which has been connected with a joint that is surrounded by her braids, but still allows for movement to both sides allowing for some very lively poses! ☆

Simply move the hair around to match your pose!


▲ Her back has been changed from a large sports bag to a backpack!

Plus she can of course be posed in her Z-Move Pose!

▲ She comes with special arm parts to capture the pose! ♪

Along with the lovely smiling face above, she also comes with…

An upset expression with puffed up cheeks!

Nendoroid Theo Cornaro (Record of Grancrest War)

I think we’ve got to the point where I can be happy in short sleeves! Was it always this hot in May…?

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Theo Cornaro!

From the anime series “Record of Grancrest War” comes a Nendoroid of the main character, Theo Cornaro! The Nendoroid is based on his appearance when he first started his journey, and he comes with two different face plates including a gentle smiling expression as well as a shouting expression for more intense scenes.

Optional parts include his sword in both a standard version and a glowing version, as well as his Crest. His arms are fully articulated allowing you to easily display him in various action poses.

The young lord who travels to save the village of Sistina.

From the anime series with it’s first Blu-ray & DVD releasing on the 30th May 2018, Record of Grancrest War, comes a Nendoroid of the main character that fights for the weak with a strong sense of justice, Theo Cornaro! His dark green hair has been carefully sculpted to preserve the unique “pointed” look  as faithfully as possible!

The outfit he is wearing is based on when he first left on his journey, with even the shield on the left arm faithfully included in cute chibi size! (∩・∀・)∩

All the different textures of his outfit have been incorporated beautifully!

One of the key elements of the story, the crest, is included as an optional part! It is included as a clear plate which can be inserted between the hand and arm parts to create this pose! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

In addition, his sword also comes with parts which allow him to be display with the sword drawn, ready for battle – plus the blade comes in both a standard version and a glowing version allowing for various different situations! ♪

▲The glowing effect is accomplished with translucent parts & a gradient color!

In addition, the Nendoroid features a ball joint in the elbow and upper arm allowing him to be placed in all sorts of different action poses!

This can be used together with his shouting face plate to really recreate the tension of battle with the Nendoroid!

▲ A bent leg is also included for more dynamic poses!

The shouting face plate can also be used for more than just combat scenes! It also works great for bringing out a more dignified look for the young lord!
