From the long-running hit film “Your Name.” comes cute Nendoroid figures of both Mitsuha Miyamizu and Taki Tachibana!! Let’s have a quick Nendoroid summary for those who are new to the series!

Nendoroid Mitsuha Miyamizu

From the hit film “Your Name.” comes a Nendoroid of Mitsuha Miyamizu. She comes with two face plates including a gentle smile as well as a face with writing on her cheek. Her school bag with the hedgehog ornament on it is also included. She also comes with an interchangeable hand holding a pen which ban be used with the alternate face plate to recreate the scene from the film! Be sure to display her together with Nendoroid Taki Tachibana who will be available for preorder at the same time!

Mitsuha’s iconic hairstyle with her hair braided up on the left and right and then tied up into a tail with the important red ribbon has been faithfully preserved in Nendoroid size!! ♪

She also comes with an alternate expression with writing that reads “fool” on her cheek! ★

The upset looking eyebrows and slight blush on her face all allow for a rather angry yet still very cute expression! She also comes with a hand holding onto a pen allowing you to recreate the scene from the movie! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

Nendoroid Taki Tachibana

From the hit film “Your Name.” comes a Nendoroid of Taki Tachibana. He comes with two face plates including a gentle smile as well as a face with writing on his cheek. His school bag is also included, and he also comes with an interchangeable hand holding a pen which ban be used with the alternate face plate to recreate the scene from the film! The school bag he has on his shoulder may be small, but it is still lovely and detailed!

Shiro and Nendoroid Jibril (No Game No Life)

I’ve always has a bit of a secret interest in chess. I wish I could get the change to say “checkmate” one day…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a a look at…
The 1/8th Scale Shiro! ☆

From the anime series “No Game No Life” comes a 1/8th scale figure of the younger of the ‘Blank’ gamer siblings – Shiro! She has been sculpted holding a playing card in one hand and chess pieces in the other with a playful smile on her face that shows she is not worried about the competition.

Each and every strand of her hair has been carefully sculpted and painted with a brilliant gradient seen in the original illustration to capture her iconic appearance in figure form. The playing cards and chess pieces all around her are all a part of the figure and base, and the base itself is patterned like a chessboard to fully bring out the No Game No Life atmosphere! Be sure to add the peerless gamer to your collection and enjoy her company whenever you please!

“Omega good job!”

From the “No Game No Life” film that starts in Japan this weekend comes a scale figure of Shiro! The transparent, flowing image of the original illustration has been captured…

…amazing detail!!

Each and every strand of her hair has been sculpted in such detail!

Not to mention the way the colors differ depending on the angle you look from!

The appearance of the gradient has been carefully calculated from each angle…

To faithfully preserve the beautiful colors of her hair no matter what angle you look from! (｀；ω；´)

The figure has been sculpted by Good Smile Company’s Kataharaitashi! The same sculptor who has worked on various Nendoroids such as Nendoroid Elsa, as well as scale figures such as Nico Yazawa: Picnic Girl!

All the figures have the feeling of “motion” captured so beautifully!

The paintwork was by Good Smile Company’s Ekoshi! ♡

Some examples of past work include Hatsune Miku V4X as well as various work on the LoveLive! Nendoroid series and much more!

Working with colors to bring a sculpt to life is not an easy task, but all the figure by Ekoshi have such a lively, beautiful feeling about them!!

Anyway, let’s get back to Shiro! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

The cards all floating around Shiro are of course attached to her hair, but the positions are very carefully thought out so that it all looks perfectly natural and they really do look like they are floating in the air around her! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

A quick size comparison with an iPhone6!

The figure is only 1/8th scale, but the impressive volume of the hair gives an impressive size, and the atmosphere of the series is captured in the base so effectively!! There is so much to enjoy at once! I only noted the cards above, but there are also chess pieces at the bottom of the base!

They are all very carefully positioned and sculpted with a specific feeling of motion to all come together and complete the dynamic appearance of the figure!

I alerady touched on the cute sticking-out tongue earlier, but also note the dainty hand holding the chess pieces! ★

Even her fingernails have each been carefully sculpted!

Plus each of her nails are also painted with a slightly different color!! The fact that they are sculpted slightly grown out is also so amazing! _:(´ཀ`」∠):_

The product planner who is also a big fan of the series, Hamako, made some playing cards based on the design of the figure! I decided to borrow them and use them for an image cut! ★

It really is one of those figures that can be enjoyed from absolutely any angle!! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to add her to your collection!! I highly recommend it!

Nendoroid Jibril!

From the anime series “No Game No Life” comes a Nendoroid of Jibril, the youngest and strongest of the Flugel race! Even as a Nendoroid the beautiful gradient colors of her hair have been faithfully preserved, and her large wings look as angelic as ever.

She comes with three face plates including a standard smart looking face, a scornful smile as well as an excited expression for when she can’t control her desires. Optional parts include a book, a tablet as well as a large selection of arm and leg parts to create various scenes from the series! Enjoy the small and adorable Jibril in your collection!

Even in Nendoroid size, the gradient color of her hair has been faithfully preserved! ♪

Nendoroid Kiyoshimo (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Kiyoshimo

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the 19th Yugumo Class Destroyer, Kiyoshimo! She comes with three face plates including an energetic smile, a half-damaged expression with her cheeks puffed up as well as an excited expression with sparkling eyes. The front and back of her hair are painted with different colors to faithfully capture her original design.

Optional parts include various turret and torpedo firing effect parts as well as a depth charge with effect parts which allow her to take on all kinds of ships including submarines! In addition, she also comes with a yellow umbrella to recreate her “Rainy Season” illustration, as well as a box of throwing beans for her “Setsubun” illustration. Be sure to add the destroyer that wants to be a battleship to your collection!

“Isn’t it about time you make me into a battleship?”

The Yugumo Class Destroyer Kiyoshimo has been transformed into an adorable Nendoroid! As with all the previous KanColle Nendoroids her ship parts have been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size, together with her outfit – from the frilly dress to the ribbon on her chest!

The deep blue inside color of her hair together with its iconic twists and curls have all been faithfully included!

▲ The tied up part at the back is also lovely! (・∀・)

She comes with three face plates, the first of which being the cheerful smile you can see above, and the second is this half-damaged expression with tears in her eyes! (´□｀｡)

The usual effect parts are also included with turret firing parts and torpedo launching parts all ideal for combat scenes!

Another thing to note about this expression is that the one side of her cheek is all puffed up with air! (/ω＼)

▲ Cute! So cute!! I just want to pet her!!

Plus along with the standard effect parts above, she also comes with a depth charge and depth charge splash effect part making her the ideal Nendoroid to take out submarines! ♪

▲ I love the splashing effect that gives a dynamic look!

Plus she also comes with this yellow umbrella to partially recreate her “Rainy Season” illustration! (∩・∀・)∩

Moving on to her third face plate… a sparkling eyes expression!

That glint in her eyes catches her curious personality perfectly! It works nicely with the umbrella parts too! ♪

*Playing swords with umbrellas is dangerous. Do not follow her example!

Last but not least…

She also comes with a box of setsubun beans to recreate her Setsubun illustration!

Nendoroid Ash & Pikachu (Pokémon)

The very first Mini CD I ever purchased was “To Be A Pokemon Master”. If I remember correctly the CD was made to look like a Poké Ball!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Ash & Pikachu!

From the popular anime series celebrating its 20th anniversary with a new movie, “Pokémon”, comes a Nendoroid of Ash Ketchum together with Pikachu! He has been sculpted in his original outfit from the beginning series, and comes with three different face plates including a smiling face, a more serious expression for Pokémon battles as well as a gentle smiling expression with closed eyes perfect for showing his close relationship with Pikachu!

His iconic hat can be worn both forward and backward with any of the face plates for all sorts of different display options. Pikachu also comes with both a standard face as well as a battle face allowing for various different scenes. Optional parts include a Poké Ball as well as lightning effect parts for Pikachu’s attacks. Enjoy the adorable Ash and Pikachu in your collection!

“Pikachu, I choose you!”

Apologies for the long wait since their announcement! The main character of the Pokémon series, “Ash”, is joining the Nendoroid series together with his first Pokémon, Pikachu! ★

His arms and tail are both fitted with a ball joint allowing them to moved into various different angles!

As you can see he also has a hole on his back which allows a stand to be attached for jumping poses together with Ash! ☆

Although they might be best buddies now, back when they first met that wasn’t quite the case!

In order to recreate scenes like this Pikachu comes with electric effect parts which can be placed around Ash to make it look like he has been electricity!

In addition, Pikachu also comes with a battle face plate which can be used above as a bit of an angry expression, or can instead be used with Ash’s battle expression in order to pose the two of them ready for their next challenge! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

▲ They look perfectly in sync and ready for battle! ♪

Plus the Nendoroid also comes with a rather special option that might be a first on Nendoroids and suits the battle expression perfectly…

He can wear his cap backward and be posed about to throw a Poké Ball!!

The cap can be completed turned around and he also comes with an alternate front hair part to better suit the cap backward! Anyone who has seen the series will remember the scene where he spins his cap around making this a lovely nostalgic item!★

He also comes with a third face plate which is ideal for displaying him playing around with Pikachu – a gentle expression with closed eyes!

Using the included stand you can also pose Ash carrying Pikachu in his arms like above! The way their cheeks are just about touching shows just how close they two are!! This brings back so many memories! ♡

A Look at Some of the WonFes Summer 2017 Products: Part 2

ONLY 12 WORKING DAYS TO WONFES!

It might still be three weeks until WonFes, but looking at just the amount of working days left makes you realize how very close that is! There isn’t much time left to prepare!!

Today I’m going to be going the continuation of the Suwabe’s last blog and take a look at some of the items that will be on sale at Wonder Festival 2017 Summer!Today I’ll be focusing on these three items! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

◆ Nendoroid Reimu Hakurei 2.0 ◆

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes an all-new upgraded Nendoroid of Reimu Hakurei! She comes with three face plates including a cheerful standard expression, a more serious expression for combat scenes as well as a cute, relaxed expression.

Reimu comes complete with her prayer rod and charm cards allowing you to pose her in battle scenes from the series, as well as a cup of tea, a donation box and kneeling parts to display her more relaxed side. Enjoy all sorts of different sides of Reimu in your collection!

The priestess of Hakurei Shine is back in an upgraded version!

This time she comes with a large set of optional parts too!

The Japanese-style umbrella can be held in her hand like so! A part of her hair has been specially made removable to make sure the handle doesn’t get in the way of posing! ★

The little gap in her outfit that shows off her belly button has been sculpted with a little billow as if the wind is blowing along it! (・∀・)

The tied-up part of her hair is fitted with a Nendoroid joint allowing you to match the hair up with various different poses!

◆ Nendoroid Yuri Katsuki: Free Skating Ver. ◆

From the popular anime series ‘YURI!!! on ICE’ comes a figure of Japan’s figure skating athlete Yuri Katsuki wearing his free skating “Yuri on Ice” outfit from the series! He comes with two face plates including a standard gentle expression as well as a charming smile.

Yuri has fully articulated arm parts, and the iconic stuffed toy shaped like a rice ball that was thrown down into the rink is also included to help you fully reproduce his skating performance in Nendoroid size! He also comes with new arm parts for use on Nendoroid Victor Nikiforov as well as a Makkachin tissue box case! Accessories are as you can see below! He also comes with a special part for use together with Nendoroid Victor Nikiforov!

Along with the gentle standard smile, he also comes with an cute smile with a slight blush and closed eyes! (´□｀｡)

The riceball-shaped plushie can be held in his hands like so!! So cute!! The Makkachin tissue box case can also be held by making use of the same hand parts! ♥

Another thing to note is that there is actually a tissue coming out of the Makkachin tissue box case!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get my hands on a Nendoroid Victor for this blog, but he will be on sale later next month, so be sure to display him with the tissue box too!! You can find a photo of this over on the GSC product page here!

For anyone unfamiliar with the Wonda-chan NEXT DOOR Project, here is a quick summary of the project!

The illustrations of Wonda-chan used on the official WonFes guidebook are always done by a different illustrator for each event, and for the past few events a ‘NEXT DOOR’ Wonda-chan illustration – a second illustration that is done by an up-and-coming illustrator – has been done together with the main Wonda-chan! This secondary Wonda-chan is then made into a figure, creating the perfect souvenir for each Wonder Festival event! Good Smile Company takes part as the manufacturer for the figure!

From the popular game “Persona 5” comes a Nendoroid of the Phantom Thieves’ feline mascot, Morgana! His unique design has been captured in Nendoroid size as faithfully as possible, and his eye and mouth parts are separately interchangeable and each come with four different options for a total of sixteen different combinations. The lower body of the Nendoroid not only captures Morgana’s design faithfully, but also includes a joint covered with flexible parts to completely cover up the joint for a seamless appearance that can still easily be moved around. From ATLUS’s popular RPG game “Persona 5” comes an adorable Nendoroid of the strange, cat-like creature that the protagonist and Ryuji saved from a Palace in the Metaverse – Morgana!

Due to his unique shape, the design differs quite a lot to standard Nendoroids! Morgana comes with separate eye parts and mouth parts that can be used in any combination!

There are a total of four of each, meaning there are 16 different expressions to enjoy!

You can just imagine some of the combinations, for instance this rather iconic expression from the start of his “All-Out Attack”!

Or instead some original creations to create your very own Morgana!

The photos you see here are a painted prototype, but the prototype is in fact not quite complete just yet! The final version will include a joint in the lower body that will be covered up with a flexible ‘skin’ that will keep it looking seamless and natural while still allowing for all sorts of different nuances when posing!! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

It’s so nice to know he’ll keep his round looking form yet also be able to posed in various ways! The yellow scarf around his neck also has a joint included at the tied-up part allowing you to alter the angle to best suit your poses! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

He comes with both a chair and a cigar in order to recreate the final pose at the end of the “All-Out Attack” scene from the game! An alternate sitting body us also included to easily place him in the sitting pose! ♪

From ‘Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale’ comes a set of Nendoroids of the main characters Kirito and Asuna in their new outfits from the movie! The AR-type information terminal “Augma” that plays an important role in the movie is included on both of them, and Kirito’s sword and Asuna’s rapier are also included. Enjoy their close bond and powerful combination in Nendoroid size!

Rem & Ram: Swimsuit Ver. (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’ll be taking a look at these two twins currently up for preorder!

Rem: Swimsuit Ver. & Ram: Swimsuit Ver.! ♡

From the anime series ‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes a figure of the younger of the twin maids at the Roswaal mansion. From this set of S-style figures the series will all feature a unified 3mm neck joint, allowing you to switch the head parts between different S-style figures! Look forward to more releases soon! *Each sold separately.

The first in the upgraded S-style series are the Re:ZERO twin maids!

Both of the twin maids from the Roswaal mansion have been sculpted into cute 1/12th scale figures wearing swimsuits matching their hair colors!

The figures stand approximately 130mm in height making them a very easy to collect and display size, even for those collections that are running out of space!

They are both holding a popsicle with a cute smile!! Just looking at their smiles makes me want to smile as well! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Both are new additions to FREEing’s S-Style series!

What is the S-style Series?

Fun and easy to collect! These small and stylish palm-sized figures are reasonably priced and easy to collect! That said, they are still top quality and super cute, making for an all new standard of collectible figures.

*Certain parts of figures require simple assembly after purchase.

The S-style series has also been upgraded with these two figures to feature a a unified 3mm neck joint, allowing you to switch the head parts between different S-style figures! ★

The fact that they connect with a joint also means you can not only face left and right, but also alter the angle for various different nuances while posing!

If you change the angle to have the mouth hidden behind the popsicle like with Rem here, it suddenly makes for a rather different appearance! ☆

The next point I want to focus on…

Are the beautiful curves of their bodies!

You can see the difference in their builds, particularly from a higher angle!

I’m also quite a fan of the lower angles too!

The curves formed from the thighs up to their bottoms is so very delicious!! The sculpt of the frills on their swimsuits has also been very carefully made, together with the various creases! Even though they are rather small as far as scale figures go, you can really see a lot of effort was put into them!

Be sure to add the twin maids in swimsuits to your collection!

Nikkari Aoe (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
The 1/8th Scale Nikkari Aoe!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Nikkari Aoe based on his standard standing illustration from the game! His charming facial expression, white cloak and long hair blowing in the wind have all been captured in careful detail to capture the mysterious Aoe in figure form. The sculpt has captured Aoe’s character in beautiful detail and he is ready to stand by your side, so be sure to add him to your collection!

“Oh? Are you interested in me?”

The famous sword said to even be able to cut through ghosts, Nikkari Aoe is being transformed into a handsome scale figure!

The large white cloak he has draped over his shoulder makes use of translucent parts to faithfully capture the see-through look from the original illustration!

▲ He looks great from the back too! ♪

Note that the armored parts of his outfit have a shiny glossy finish, while the belt and other areas have a semi-matte finish to give them that leathery appearance!

Plus just look at all the creases in his outfit! They have all been sculpted in such intricate detail – the way they are done really make it look like the clothes are being “worn”, if you know what I mean. You can really imagine the body underneath the clothes thanks to the way they are creased. (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

His beautiful long hair has also been carefully preserved, with the unique colors recreated with a gentle gradient effect! ♡

▲ The ponytail blowing about behind him… so very beautiful!

The soft appearance of the white fabric has also been preserved through the sculpt – the gentle outline and coloring make it appear to have a soft and thin texture! ★

▲ Long legs with a positioned crease in the center of the pants for style!

The figure was sculpted by Max Factory’s Nanako!

The first time I saw the figure I thought it had to be Nanako!

They have all been sculpted with such careful attention to the original illustrations! It is always amazing to see Nanako’s work!

Just take a look at this particular part on Aoe!

That wrist bone and palm…! (´□｀｡)

Nikkari Aoe doesn’t show off a lot of bare skin, but this one little gap gives you a little peek! The closed hand holding the fabric and the joints of his fingers to create that motion have all been sculpted with so much detail!!

His refreshing gaze as well as the hair covering up his other eye have also all been included, plus of course that mysterious smile of his!

The exquisite look of those lips!! (/ω＼)

The charm of the illustration has been transformed into a figure so very perfectly! It’s as if the illustration just jumped into the 3D world!!

The shape of his lips also look great from a higher angle!

There are all sorts of angles to be enjoyed! Be sure to find your favorite once he joins your collection!! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Nendoroid Yoshino Koharu (Sakura Quest)

Hello everyone!! Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I always get excited when someone gives me onsen manjuu as a souvenir! It’s one of this things that is really delicious, but you can’t just buy on a daily basis, making it one of the best gifts!

Anyway, today I’m going to take a look…
Nendoroid Yoshino Koharu!

From the anime series “Sakura Quest” comes a Nendoroid of the girl who serves as the “King” of the Chupakabura Kingdom – Yoshino Koharu! She comes with three face plates including a cheerful smile, a surprised expression as well as a cute chewing expression for when she fills her mouth with manjuu steamed buns.

Optional parts include a cape, crown and scepter, as well as the “sword in the stone” which can also be removed from the stone and held by Yoshino. One of the famous Chupakabura manjuu steamed buns is also included for her to enjoy – a huge selection of parts to bring out Yoshino’s personality and recreate your favorite scenes from the series! Be sure to add her to your collection!

“Please don’t call me normal!”

From the third in P.A WORKS’ “Working” series, Sakura Quest comes a Nendoroid of the “King” of the Chupakabura Kingdom – Nendoroid Yoshino Koharu!

Her lovely crown and the cape with a lovely white fluffy collar have both been included, and she also comes with her scepter to complete her regal appearance as the king!

▲ Even in Nendoroid size the crown looks very detailed and fancy! ♪

Along with her standard cheerful smiling face, she also comes with a surprised expression as well as a holy sword in a stone!

▲ This expression can be used for all sorts of things!

As you can see from the above photo, the crown and cape can also be removed for a more casual looking Yoshino! (´□｀｡)

The sword can also be removed and equipped by the Nendoroid!

▲ Even holding a sword, the smile makes her look so cute and innocent!

Anyway, moving on to her third face plate… a chewing face! (๑´ㅂ`๑)

The cheeks puffed up with food are so cute! The right side is actually sculpted sticking out a bit to show just how much manjuu she has eaten! She also comes with a Chupakabura manjuu steamed bun to hold as well!! ♥

The image on the front may look like an unidentified creature, but as we all know it is super delicious! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

If you don’t think of her as eating, the chewing expression can also be used as a content smile… or even a bit of a scheming face depending on how you display her!

Recreate your favorite scenes from the series as well as all sorts of original situations in cute Nendoroid size!
