I’ve recently been looking at cute parrots on Twitter to calm my nerves… they’re strangely relaxing to look at! I’ve also recently become rather interested in inko ice cream…!
But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Asuna: Titania Ver.!
| From the anime series ‘Sword Art Online’ comes a Nendoroid of Asuna in her fairy form that was trapped up in the World Tree. She comes with three different expressions including her standard expression, as well as a joyful expression with tears in her eyes to recreate the scene she reunited with Kirito and Yui.
Her third expression is a pained expression, which also comes with creeper plants to display her tied up in the cage. Kneeling parts are also included to complete the scene in its entirety! Her expressions can also be switched with the original Nendoroid Asuna, allowing for even more possibilities! |

A cute Nendoroid of Asuna from the Fairy Dance arc! Together with parts to display her as the Fairy King’s captive! ♡
One of my favorite things about this Nendoroid is of course the included cage!
The bottom of the cage has multiple holes to connect a standard Nendoroid stand, so you can stably pose any Nendoroid inside with ease! (｀・ω・´)
The door of course opens and closes making it really seem the Nendoroid really is completely trapped inside!
(・∀・) “There is also a hole on the top of the birdcage… can you guess why?”
We’re joined by the planner for the figure… Yuri-chan Honpo!
Hmm, I see there is a hole in the triangular point at the top… is this what I think it is? (； ･`ω･´)
(・∀・) “The hole is there for you to slide your own rope through, allowing you to do this…!!”
(・∀・) “Trapped up in the World Tree!! ♪”
Ooh, I see!! A hole to thread a rope through, and hang the cage up high!
(・∀・) “Ah, but note that there is no rope included with the product itself! You’ll need to provide your own – it’s definitely a fun way to display her though! Make sure the rope is strong enough to support her!”
The atmosphere of the SAO world definitely seemed to jump out a lot more as soon as she was hanging from the tree! ε=(｡・д・｡)
I also look forward to displaying other Nendoroids in the cage! I think this picture captures her desire to be free really nicely!
(・∀・) “We focused on more than just the bird cage though! You can even use expressions from the standard Nendoroid Asuna for even more options!”
Hmm? Most Nendoroid expressions are exchangeable, that’s not very special!
(・∀・) “Think again! Titania’s ears are not exactly standard ears, so the expressions wouldn’t swap without a few special changes!”
Ah! I see!! Her ears are really the main change to her appearance in the Fairy Dance arc after all! But… does that mean that this Asuna’s expressions can’t be used on the normal Asuna? (´；ω；｀)
(・∀・) “We’ve made the ears a part of the hair parts, meaning you can easily swap them either way! The standard ears will be covered up by the Fairy Dance ears!”
Yay! Definitely a very thoughtful change! Here is an example of the standard Nendoroid’s expression on Titania’s body!
(・∀・) “Yay! Isn’t she cute?! She’s so cute!! ♡”
I can see just how much you love Asuna by the work you put into this option! Let’s take a look at the expressions included with Nendoroid Asuna: Titania Ver.! ♪
First up we have her longing expression!
How could anyone look into those uneasy eyes and not want to rescue her?! I’ll save you Asuna, just you wait!!
Next up we have her joyful expression!
This expression was made in the image of the scene where she reunites with Kirito and Yui! ♡ I’m sure the expression could be used for various other scenes too! (｀・ω・´)
By the way, the photo above pictures Asuna thanking me, her hero, for rescuing her from the cage!! However we cannot stay together, so we part with tears in our eyes, but joy in our hearts!
*My imagination is hard to put into words sometimes…
Finally we have her ”captured” expression!! (ﾟＡﾟ;)ｺﾞｸﾘ
A pained expression!!
Special parts are included to recreate the vines that tie her to the cage!
(・∀・) “Although it’s not an exact replica, we wanted to recreate the scene where she was tied up by the Fairy King Oberon! After trying a few different options, this is what we settled on! Perfect for recreating her desire to be rescued by Kirito-kun”
Not to mention that it can be used in various other angles for a different feel!
With a quick switch of pose, it can be made to look like she is praying with all her might! I think it would also work quite nicely as an embarrassed tsundere face! ((o(´∀｀)o))
