Nendoroid Minnie Mouse

GSC’s orientation session is this week!

001

The orientation session is held to introduce the company to students who will graduate next year!

Many of the current staff also head off to the session hall (all dressed up in suits), which causes the offices to become strangely quiet… But with nobody around, I’m free to go wandering around in search of prototypes to play with!!

002

Nendoroid Minnie Mouse!

Nendoroid Mickey Mouse was released to commemorate the 100th Nendoroid release, and now Minnie Mouse will also be joining the Nendoroid series to keep him company!

Just look at how many extras she comes with!!

Everything here is included with the Nendoroid! She doesn’t come with any replaceable expressions, but instead she comes with lots of extras to pose along side her! Let’s take a closer look…

003

First up is her dresser!

This dresser and little seat were specially drawn up for the Nendoroid version of Minnie – just what an actress needs! They were drawn by Disney’s famous artists specially for the Nendoroid, just like with Mickey! Unbelievable!!

I love the lamp shaped like a flower, and the pearls surrounding the big mirror! This is definitely enough to make most girls squeal in delight! The drawer of the dresser also opens and closes, so you can safely store away the little parts that are included.

004

A brush, hand mirror, lipstick and powder puff!

All these little goodies are marked with the ‘M’ logo as well! Minnie herself is lovely, but these little extras are simply amazing as well! They give off a kind of retro feeling that really suits Mickey Mouse, but at the same time they are all so stylish!

005

She can hold the lipstick and mirror!

This way she can be posed putting on her make-up just before the show! I don’t think you can see it very well in this photo, but her little finger on the right hand is absolutely adorable!

006

This is how she looks from the back!

Having finished her make-up, Minnie now takes a good look at herself in the mirror for a final check! She is posable, but only at certain points – the neck, shoulders, wrists, thighs and ankles are posable. It’s very easy to get her into some very nice looking poses!

007

The mischievous Chip and Dale!

I’m sure as any fans will know, Chip is the one with the black nose and darker fur, while Dale is the one with the red nose with lighter fur! Time for a little trivia from Akiyama-san!

     / ̄ ̄\
   / ー ー \ ← Akiyama

   ヽ       }
    ヽ ノ
   / ヽ

008

They are helping out with the filming!

Dale is wearing a sun visor with ‘AD’ (Assistant Director) written on the top. Chip is wearing headphones, helping out the sound team! Those fluffy headphones and mike look great as well! And the cord wrapping around Dale is cute!

009

Displayed with Mickey Mouse!

Mickey came with a load of extra parts putting him in the director’s seat! If you combine it with all the parts that come with Minnie it really creates a nice scene! Minnie also comes with a script, which is even signed by her! You can really recreate the world of Disney right on your own desk!

Nendoroid Menma and Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi

You already saw them yesterday…

001

And you can grab these two from next week!

Miura from the production department was in charge of both of these Nendoroids! It must be so wonderful to finally meet the final versions of figures that you created! 😛 Let’s take a look how they came out…

004

Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi!

A Nendoroid of the F1 race driver with an impressive track record, Kamui Kobayashi! Even when shrunk down to Nendoroid size, the coloring and details on his helmet and racing suit have all been faithfully preserved based on their originals – even the sponsors names are included on his outfit.

He also comes with extra parts that allow you to display him either holding his helmet, or wearing it – however you’d prefer to display him!

003

This is how the packaging looks!

Although it is less parts than normal, a lot more effort went into getting the figure to represent Kamui as closely as possible! The helmet and racing suit are so incredibly detailed – it’s simply outstanding!

006

Here is is wearing his helmet!

The helmet of course doesn’t work like a normal expression- you just replace the entire head with the head wearing the helmet!

But Kamui’s head and expression can still be removed!

That means you can put the hat on other characters like this! (Although, I don’t think you’d be able to display Kamui without his hat, it looks a bit strange. )

005

You can remove the joint to just display the helmet!

     / ̄ ̄\
   / ー ー \ ← Miura-kun
   | (●) (●) |

   |   . `⌒   }
   ヽ       }
    ヽ ノ
   / ヽ

I can’t give you an exact number, but you should think very high! 😛 It’s supposed to just be a ‘deformed’ figure as a Nendoroid, but it really came out as a collectible miniature!!

Plus as you can see, there is a much smaller helmet held in Kamui’s arms so you can pose him like this instead.

007

“Menma wants to race too!”

I swear I heard her say that the minute I put the racing suit on her! It’s so cute!! Kamui’s body is very different to the standard Nendoroid bodies, so it can be fun to place some different characters heads on it!

008

But anyway, let’s move onto the next Nendoroid…

Nendoroid Menma!

She is from the anime series ‘Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai’! Her real name is Meiko Honma – but she is better known as Menma – the lively, friendly member of the ‘Super Peace Busters’.

She comes with a variety of optional parts, including Menma’s diary filled with her memories and thoughts of all her friends, as well as some of her steamed bread – a very important part of the story!

002

This is how the packaging looks!

She comes with a huge variety of parts to play with! Shuu-chan was in charge of the planning for this figure… and you can really see his love for the series went into it! There are even extra parts to recreate the colorful scenes in the opening and ending themes of the series!

010

She makes use of a magnetic stand!

The other types of stands limited her posability too much, so in the end she got a magnetic stand! Personally I really love the magnetic stands! I put a little bit of tissue between the magnet and her hair to make sure that no damage is made to the figure. (You probably don’t need to, but I like to be safe!)

011

The background of the box is beautiful!

This is the inside of Menma’s box! You can take it out and use it as a display background like this! Doesn’t it make Menma look absolutely lovely?! The parts on the sides also help to recreate the ED theme, so together they create a really stunning scene!
012

Menma wearing Winter clothes!

Menma is well known for her white one piece, but have you ever wondered how she would look wearing something else? That’s what Nendoroids are for! There isn’t really space for Miku’s blue ribbon, but I just stuck it in between the opening between the front and back hair parts. It leaves a little opening along the line, but for photos from a distance like this it doesn’t stand out too much!

Nendoroid Nee-san

The GSC Offices after an event!

001

Our battle has only just begun!

But even with WonFes past us, we still have lots of events planned in March and April! The table tennis table doesn’t look like it’s going to be usable any time soon….
002

But anyway… today we’ll be looking at this upcoming Nendoroid!

From ‘+TIC ELDER SISTER’:

Nendoroid Nee-san!

From the Young Gangan manga series, ‘+TIC ELDER SISTER’ came an anime series, and now a Nendoroid as well! The anime was aired online, but is now being released on BD/DVD. This Nendoroid will be included with the BD/DVD!

You can still watch the series at the Young Gangan website!

It’s a real surreal series… definitely one I recommend! The long-awaited episode 4 is half loved by everyone here at GSC, and half not… personally I loved it! The third episode was painful, but I still loved it! It’s really interesting!

‘+TIC ELDER SISTER’
http://www.square-enix.co.jp/magazine/yg/introduction/plastic/

003

This is how she looks from the back!

The model castle she wears on her head to show she is the head of the model club is easily visible from behind.  The other members also have models like this on their heads, but I really don’t know why. 😛

005

An angry expression!

She looks really upset! 😛 This expression could easily be used on so many other Nendoroids as well! I’ll play around with a bit more later!

She also comes with an arm and clenched fist to compliment the expression!
The combination makes a really angry looking Nee-san!
006

Stretched out arms and the ‘Olaolaolaola’ pose

Which, to explain briefly, is to put your bag between your thighs and then shake your bottom. Although, I’m sure many might be wondering WHY one would do this. 😛

If you really want to know, go watch episode 2!

004

Next up is this colorful expression!

To explain briefly… I have no idea how to explain this! xD

Watch episode 3 of the anime!

I think the easiest way to put it, is that this expression emcompasses all of Nee-san’s annoying personality all together! The two hands actually each have a slightly different pose left and right, which is a nice little extra!

…and you’re not allowed to use this as an ahegao face! 😛
008

Switching expressions with Nendoroid Menma!

Oooh! Nee-san looks so relaxed with Menma’s closed-eyes expression! Plus, as I expected, the angry expression suits other Nendoroids well. Menma even look cute when she is angry!

007

Let’s try it on Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi!

I was going to put Kamui’s expression on Nee-san as well… but I eventually came to the conclusion that may cause some problems… (in fact, just putting the upset face on Kamui might cause problems :P)

009

Lastly some quick advertising!

+TIC ELDER SISTER Volume 5 goes on sale on the 25th February!

The Nendoroid is even advertised on the band around the manga! ^^

002

From ‘+TIC ELDER SISTER’:

Nendoroid Nee-san!

She’ll be on the GSC website on the 24th!
She will be a bonus with the +TIC ELDER SISTER BD/DVD!

Head over to one of our partner shops and preorder your copy of the BD/DVD!

But that’s all for today!
I hope to see you all again tomorrow!! (・∀・)ノ゛

Cheerful Japan! Part 10 : Nendoroid Tachikoma : Cheerful Ver. & Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi: Ganbare Japan Ver.

The ping-pong table is in chaos!!

001

With each day that passes, the offices get more chaotic!!

The image is actually of a WonFes display simulation! This time around Tori Bird from the planning department was in charge of the display, and he has done a great job! Those coming to WonFes can look forward to seeing the finished product soon!

But today we’ll be looking at some non-WonFes related products!

012

Nendoroid Tachikoma : Cheerful Ver.!

Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi: Ganbare Japan Ver.!

The 10th month of Cheerful JAPAN! products brings these two lovely additions to the line-up! They are each sold separately though – they are not a set.

003

Cheerful JAPAN!

http://www.cheerfuljapan.com/

The damage that has occurred during the March 11 quake in the Touhoku region is astounding, and in order to get over the destruction caused there is a lot that needs to be done, and lots of support that needs to be given. Good Smile Company has formed a support group named ‘Cheerful Japan’ which will strive to support the relief efforts for as long as possible. For at least 1 year we be releasing charity products among other efforts to raise donation money for the cause. To everyone who supports the Cheerful Japan movement – thank you, and know that your money is going where it is needed!

002

Nendoroid Tachikoma : Cheerful Ver.

As a part of the 10th month of Cheerful JAPAN!, the adorable Nendoroid Tachikoma is coming back in a special ‘Cheerful Ver.’.! Along with all the optional parts from the original version, this version also has a number of extras to help him cheer everyone on!

003

This is how the original Tachikoma’s packaging looked!

This new version includes all of these parts as well! Along with a whole bunch of new parts!
What kind of parts…?
004

W-What is this?!

005

Production I.G illustrated the Cheerful Tachikoma for us!

006

Cheerful Goods #1 : A Banner!

The writing and position is exactly the same as the illustration above. It reads ‘Hooray! Hooray! Japan!’ Of course Tachikoma can hold it in his little mechanical hand – he looks so cute holding it! (It might end up being attached to his arm, depending on how the production goes)

007

Cheerful Goods #2 : A Folding Fan

Here we have Tachokoma waving hid folding fan which features the Japanese flag! It really gets my spirit up to see this… the manipulator arms of Tachikoma come in two types – open and closed.
008

Cheerful Goods #3 : Pompons!

There were many people wondering how these would connect to Tachikoma – they actually just connect on like normal hands, they are not held in the actual manipulator hands of the figure. They are very small parts, so you’ll have to be careful not to lose them!

I really think Tachikoma with pompons is adorable!! (*´ω`*)
009

And we have another product this month!
Nendoroid Kamui Kobayashi: Ganbare Japan Ver.

As a part of the ‘Cheerful JAPAN!’ project, Kamui Kobayashi is rejoining the Nendoroid world in a special ‘Ganbare Nihon!’ version! He comes with different head parts and a different helmet to the standard version, as well as an all new mini F1 car made specially for Cheerful JAPAN!

010

The pullback racing car!

You can just see the driver’s helmet sticking out the top of the car! The back part of the car has that ‘wing’ part sticking out which really gives it that racing car feeling!

Plus, as I mentioned it’s a pullback car! (・∀・)ノ
Pull it back a little and let it go and it’ll go racing ahead! It’ll work on desks, or floors – wherever you want to have a little fun!
011

He also comes with this white helmet!

You can pose him wearing it like this, or have him holding the helmet instead like the images above this one. This is the helmet that was used in the Malaysia Grand Prix and Chinese Grand Prix! Just like his suit, the helmet also has all the sponsor logos on it! They’re so tiny!

Nendoroid Mahiru Inami

Max Factory’s Batayan’s desk! It’s way too chaotic!!

     ノ \

Then it must be prototype review time!!

002

Today we’ll be taking a look at this lovely Nendoroid!

Max Factory’s:
Nendoroid Mahiru Inami!

From the popular anime series, ‘Working!!’ comes another Nendoroid to follow on from Nendoroid Popura – this time it’s the shy girl with a fear of guys, Mahiru Inami! She looks so cute working in the Wagnaria playset!

She looks so innocent and honest! (*゚∀゚)=3

003

This is how she looks from the back!

Mahiru’s hair looks so round from the back in Nendoroid form – although you can of course still see the side bits sticking out! The bottom half of her body also has a lovely balance!
004

An embarrassed expression!

Mahiru has a fear of men, so whenever she gets close to, or even sees them – she ends up panicking like this! When I look into her eyes it seems like they’re about to move… it’s like she is alive! Wonderful!

There are also bent arms to make her look even more worried!
The shoulder part (down to the sleeve) and arm parts are separate, so you can mix and match parts for different poses easily!

005

The ‘Magic Hand’ and a hand to hold it!

Souta used this to allow the two of them to walk home together without having to get too close! Along with the embarrassed expression it really makes it look like she is holding hands with someone! ^^;

006

A shouting face and punching arm!

And punching effect parts, which also come with Souta’s silhouette!
That’s definitely a unique extra! 😛 The punching arm has a big fist to get across the strength of Mahiru’s punches! She also comes with a bent leg which makes it look like she is punching someone down!

007

Another punching effect part!

This one makes it seem like the air around her punch is getting displaced at incredible force! These parts just connect into a hole on the punching hand parts.

002

Max Factory’s
Nendoroid Mahiru Inami!

She’ll be on the GSC website on the 9th February!
If you have any sales or preorder queries, be sure to get in contact with our partner shops!

Also seen in the background of the photos was Phat Company’s Nendoroid Playset #05: Wagnaria!

It will be on sale from April! If you’re a Working fan, then I highly recommend it!

But that’s all for today!
I hope to see you all again tomorrow!! (・∀・)ノ゛

Nendoroid Snow Miku : Fluffy Coat Ver.

Snow Miku has arrived in Japan!!

001

Yesterday, we went to the warehouse to take a look!

All these boxes piled up are filled with Snow Mikus to go to WonFes and Sapporo Snow Festival. I’m glad to see they’ve all arrived safely, so today I’ll be doing a review of her!

003

Nendoroid Snow Miku : Fluffy Coat Ver.!

This is the Nendoroid made each year in commemoration of the Snow Miku sculpture being made at the Sapporo Snow Festival! This year loads of outfits were submitted to the website Piapro, and then the most popular was selected by popular vote on WonHobby TV 10!
This year’s Snow Miku design was submitted by Nanaka! ヾ(・∀・)ノ゛
She is a very fancy looking  fluffy jacket, and even gems on the ribbon in her hair!

002

This is how the packaging looks!

She comes with three expressions! Along with a number of cute Nendoroid parts to play with! The standard expression makes it look like she is looking around and enjoying the snowy scenery around her! (Personally I love the way her eyes look…)

004

This is how she looks from the back!

Takanon was in charge of the sculpting for this Miku – just look at the way the twin tails curl in! Such lovely sculpting! The snowflake prints on her hair are also beautiful. The previous two years the snowflakes were silver, but this time around they are silver and blue for a little change!

005

Her base has LED lights!

The base is shaped like an ellipse and has three different holes to place the arm to hold her in. That also means you can display three Nendoroids on it! (As long as they use arm stands)

006

The top of the base can be taken off!

The top is also made of a very fluffy soft material – unfortunately it doesn’t come out very well in the photos. 🙁 It also has a few silver bits mixed in to make it look a bit more like snow! Gakkun really put his heart into this little base! The material is quite delicate just like real snow, so do be careful when handling it!

007

Alright, let’s move onto the optional parts!
First up, a smiling face and mike stand!

Nanaka’s spade-type microphone has also been included! You’ll see just why it’s called that a little later on 😛 She also comes with bent arms and bent legs for left and right allowing for some different poses!

008

A worried looking Miku!

A cute, unsure expression across her face with red cheeks! Lovely! It’s so cute I could look at it all day… plus as you can see the mike can be removed from the stand and placed in her hand!

009

Holding the spade with a surprised face!

The mike can be transformed into this spade! Miku can then hold it… but what is she going to do with it?

010

She’ll make a Snow Sculpture of herself!

It’s a Nendoroid Petite sized ice sculpture made from half clear plastic! It’s not completely white as that would just look strange, and it’s not completely clear so that it still has a slightly cloudy, icy look! The production team never cease to amaze me! Thanks everyone!

014

Plus her head and arms are posable!

Unfortunately the hips and legs are not posable so you can’t pose her that much, but at least you can move her around a little bit! You practically get a whole extra figure as an extra!

011

Let’s try the lights out!

The white background makes for a rather bad picture, but the clear Miku really looks beautiful when lit up! You can recreate the Sapporo Snow Festival right in your own home!! If you remove the top of the stand the lighting becomes a lot stronger as well – it’s up to you how you want to use it. It looks best to have the LED lights at the edges of her twintails and her legs.

The ribbon on her head can also be removed, but it does leave a small hole where it should connect on. I didn’t forget to put it on for this photo, I swear! 😛

012

You can also light up Snow Miku herself!

If you want to light up Miku instead of the ice sculpture – it also looks great like that! Snow Miku’s hair is also made from clear plastic so it lights up very nicely! It looks like she is singing on her very own snow stage.

For those that think the base is too big – don’t worry as she also comes with the standard Nendoroid stand which you can see in the photo below.

013

Nendoroid Snow Miku : Fluffy Coat Ver.!

The packaging also has a lovely sparkling effect! A box very befitting of the gorgeous Snow Miku!! The box is the same size as the Snow Miku box from last year – a little bigger than the standard Nendoroid boxes.

001

There are only 10 days till WonFes!!

I can’t believe it’s snuck up on us so quickly! Time really flies, but that means that we can start to have a closer look at all the WonFes products! If we have any folks who don’t know what I’m talking about, you can find the WonHobby site over here:

http://www.whl4u.jp/index.html

014
From Puella Magi Madoka Magica:
Nendoroid Homura Akemi : School Uniform ver.!

She comes with three expressions, a school bag and some extra lower body parts to let her sit down! She also comes with extra parts such as a fringe with Madoka’s ribbon, a bow and the wings seen in a key visual! All the parts will work with the previous Nendoroid Homura Akemi as well – allowing you to create an almost limitless number of poses!

This Homu-Homu is a WonFes Product!
That means you can only get hold of her at WonFes, through web sales or for a limited time at the Good Smile x Karaoke no Tetsujin Cafe.

All the information about the WonFes products can be found on the Good Smile Company English website. There is also information on the WonHobby site over here, in Japanese:
http://www.whl4u.jp/products.html

002

This is how the packaging looks!

A huge number of parts, as you can see! Absolutely lovely! There have been a lot of comments stating that the official product photos don’t show enough, so I’ll be taking a much more detailed look today!

003

This is how she looks from the back!

This is how she looks taken straight out of the packaging without any of the extra parts. She uses the standard arm-type stand that connects into her back.

004

Homura with glasses and braided hair!

One of the most common questions asked was which of the legs are included – the legs with black tights or the legs with just socks – they’re both included! In the above picture the following parts are included:

Smiling Expression (Bottom Left of Packaging)

Braided Hair (Bottom Right of Packaging)

School Bag (Top Right of Packaging)

Lower Body Wearing Socks (Lower Middle of Packaging)

The expressions can be used either with the long hair or braided hair – so you can play around and find the combination you like best!

005

The sitting pose from episode 10!

Worried Expression (Lower Right of Packaging)

Braided Fair For Sitting Pose x2 (Center of Packaging)

Legs and Arms for Sitting Pose (Lower Center of Packaging)

Lower Body for Sitting Pose (Lower Right of Packaging)

Handkerchief (Center-Right of Packaging)

Golf Club (Upper Right of Packaging)

The handkerchief looks just like it did in the series – with the cute little cat print design! I also love the way that the feet on the sitting legs are pointed in different directions!

006

She can also hold the golf club!

All the hands come apart from the arm parts so you can switch them around a bit as well. In the picture above I’m using actually using the ‘sitting’ arms with the hand to hold the golf club! So many options between the expressions and various arms and hands!

008
Displayed with the original Nendoroid Homura!

Of course you can use all the parts from this Nendoroid with the previous Homura!

The hair color between the two, is slightly different – just as it was between the two Madoka Nendoroids. This is all based exactly on the original character designs though – it’s not an error! (Although it’s so slight that you almost can’t even tell from this photo :P)

007

Let’s remove all the parts we’ve used and look at the packaging once again! We’ve already looked at so much and yet these is even more to come – not to mention that you could combine all the previous parts in all sorts of different ways.

The remaining parts are made to be used with the previous Homura!

So in a sense, the ‘School Uniform ver.’ is in fact also a kind of add-on pack to the original Nendoroid Homura!

009

Recreate the famous key visual illustration!

Two bent arms (Bottom Left of Packaging)

This lets you pose her in the same pose that the 1/8th scale figure of Homura is in – the pose based on the famous key visual!
010

Posed ready to fire her bow!

Fringe Parts with Ribbon (Bottom Left if Packaging)

Arm/Hand Parts to Hold the Bow (Upper Middle of Packaging)

Bow (Upper Right of Packaging)

Arrow (Upper Right of Packaging)

Some extra parts to have Homura holding her bow, along with an extra fringe part featuring the ribbon she received from Madoka!
012

Wing parts are also included!

These black wings appeared in the final episode of the anime – and are now included for the Nendoroid as well! They are a really wonderful extra for use on the Puella Magi Nendoroid of Homura!
011

This is how the wings look from behind!

They use a lovely gradient coloring effect from clear red to the dark black –  a truly stunning design that looks great in Nendoroid size! The wings connect onto the arm stand while it still connects into her back as before.

Nendoroid Kurisu Makise & Mayuri Shiina: Cheerful Ver.

Apologies for the long wait once again!!

001

Cheerful JAPAN! Part 5:
Nendoroid Kurisu & Mayuri : Cheerful Ver.!

They were supposed to be sent out in January originally, but due to some problems they will now be sent out on the 8th February! Apologies for the wait, but rest assured that they are on their way soon! If you live close to Japan, you’ll be receiving yours in just over a week! I’ll be doing a quick product review today, so that you know what to expect if you ordered them! (`・ω・´)ゞ
002

This is how the packaging looks!

The two are together in a set, so as you can imagine you get quite a lot to play around with, and tons of poses you can use! I’m very glad to see bent legs for both legs!

003

Kurisu Makise & Mayuri Shiina!

A Nendoroid set of both Kurisu Makise and Mayuri Shiina from the game and anime series ‘Steins;Gate’ are rejoining the Nendoroid world in cheerleader outfits!
Kurisu has a confident looking expression, while Mayuri has a warm, gentle expression!

004

This is how they look from the back!

I guess many people don’t really think this is all that important on Nendoroids… but it certainly is to me! The undercoat beneath their cheerleader outfits is wonderful! I’m afraid that this isn’t fanservice – just an undercoat! 😛

005

Kurisu’s worried face and pompons!

Kurisu certainly isn’t the type that would put on a cheerleader outfit like this, so a slightly worried expression like this really suits her nicely! Mayuri also comes with her own set of pompons, so you can pose them both cheering with together!

006

Mayushii’s ‘(´・ω・`)’ Face!

A face that contrasts with the ‘ヽ(*゚д゚)ノ’ face from last year’s WonFes product, Nendoroid Kurisu Makise: White Coat Ver.! She has a cute little mouth shaped like this: ω, and the round eyes with the eyebrows at a down angle like this: ´ `. It somehow just adds so much to her cuteness level! You can also use the bent legs like this to kind of sit the characters on the side of the stand – you don’t need the arm, but it would be much more secure with it!

007

A giant support flag and megaphone!

The support flag is bigger than the character’s themselves! And the megaphone is a lovely pink color that suits the outfits nicely. Of course you can switch the arm parts around and let any characters hold the flag and megaphone. Just find the pose that you think looks best!

009

The expressions fit on other Nendos too!

Plus you can use the cheerleader outfits on other characters as well! Here we have Rin and Miku trying them on! There are not many bodies that can suit almost any character – but I’m sure that almost any female Nendoroids will look interesting using these bodies!

008

Cheerful JAPAN! Part 5:

Nendoroid Kurisu & Mayuri : Cheerful Ver.

They’ll be shipped out on the 8th February!
If you ordered you should receive it soon after that!

Anyway, that’s all for today!
I hope to see you all again tomorrow! (・∀・)ノ゛

Nendoroid Momoyo Kawakami

Snow has started to fall in Matsudo this week! ヽ(゚∀゚)ノ

001

The day after the snow, this was in the parking lot!

This is in a secluded area quite far from the entrance, so I think it must have been made by someone from the building, not just some passer-by… There are a few companies other than GSC in the same building, but personally I hope it was someone from Good Smile! 🙂

002

But anyway… today we’ll be playing with this prototype!

From Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai!!:
Nendoroid Momoyo Kawakami!

She is the powerful fighter from the series ‘Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai!!” She comes with loads of expressions from the anime!

She has great style and some lovely… assets!! (*゚∀゚)=3

003

This is how she looks from the back!

Momoyo has a jacket draped over her shoulder, and as you can see the jacket is very detailed – just look at paintwork on the sleeve cuffs! Her hair is sculpted as if the wind is blowing it all backwards – it gives the figure a lovely dynamic feeling!

004

Optional parts! First up is are arms placed on her hips!

This allows you to pose her just like one of the key visuals from the series! Plus the jacket can also be removed! At the moment the jacket attaches with tabs, but her hair covers up the hole on the back very nicely. (Plus I’m not certain the final version will till use the tabs or not.)

007

The ‘Buddhist Iron’ pose!

Using the bent right arm you can recreate this lovely pose! The Nendoroid is based on the anime, but still allows you to recreate poses like this that originated from the game’s art as well!

006

An embarrassed crying face!

Those tears are so cute! The deformed Nendoroid size just emphasizes the expression so much and makes her look even more adorable! You can see she is trying so hard to hold in her feelings in!

005

The ‘Kawakami Star Killer’ with an angry expression!

Momoyo is much stronger than the average person, so she has to come with some effect parts to show off her battle scenes! The angry expression also really fits her into a combat scene nicely, and also makes her look very confident!

008

Let’s try her expressions on other Nendos!

I borrowed Rin-chan from Oonoshi’s desk and tried Momoyo’s crying expression on her… The brown eyes suit almost any character and the expression has such a strong presence! Just look how adorable Rin looks!

002

From ‘Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai!!’:
Nendoroid Momoyo Kawakami!

She’ll be on the GSC website shortly!

If you have any sales or preorder queries, be sure to contact out partner shops!

She will also be introduced on camera during the live broadcast tomorrow, along with some other products! Be sure to take a look if you have the time!

Nendoroid Rin & Len Kagamine: Cheerful Ver.

Apologies for the long wait!!

001

The 4th set of Cheerful JAPAN! products:

Nendoroid Rin & Len Kagamine: Cheerful Ver.!

They were originally scheduled to be shipped out in December, but were unfortunately delayed until January due to various circumstances. But they were sent out from GSC yesterday, so those in Japan should have them in the next few days – and those overseas a little while later! I’ll be doing a quick review of them today in the meantime!

002

This is how the packaging looks!

Looks like there is a lot of lovely goodies! 😛

Of course all the parts of the original Nendoroids are included, along with a collection of ‘Cheerful!’ parts! They each cost 3000JPY and for each sale made Good Smile Company donated 1000JPY to aid relief efforts!

003

The well-known ponpoms are included!

A lovely yellow very suited for Rin & Len! The ponpoms are connected as a single arm part, so you’ll be able to use them on other Vocaloid characters with the arm covers.

They make use of the arm-type Nendoroid stands!

The original Rin & Len Nendoroids used to make use of the stands that balanced them up by their hips, but didn’t allow for many poses. The arm-stand is of course made from clear plastic so it is doesn’t get in the way at all, but still holds the figures nice and firm!

004

Singing Faces and a Cheerful Flag!

One flag is included with each of them, and you can put them together like this for a joint pose! The reverse side of the flag doesn’t have anything printed on it, so you can place your own stickers or write your own message on that side!

005

Deformed expressions and other extras!

Rin comes with a microphone and Len comes with his keyboard! They also have hand parts to make sure of these extras, of course! Rin has a lovely innocent looking smiling face, while Len has an embarrassed face which is just as cute!

006

Stickers for the blank expression!

Rin & Len each have 4 expression parts, but one of them is left completely blank! The blank one is for you to make use of these stickers or others and make up your very own expression!

The hearts and musical notes at the bottom are for you to stick on the reverse side of the support flag if you want! There are also a few extra stickers like the Good Smile logo or the Good Smile Seijin for you to use however you want!

010

There are two sheets of stickers included.

One is at the top as you open the box, the other is on the reverse of the inside mat of the package.

The reason for the two sheets is that the original sheet (the one inside the package) ended up getting bent out of shape in some packages. So, we decided to include an extra sheet of stickers in case there were problems with the original sheet.

This was what caused the delay in shipping, and we apologize to everyone who ordered and had to wait longer than they expected! We’ll do our very best to make sure something like this never happens again.

007

Len comes with a megaphone and word plate!

You can either just pose him holding the megaphone, or attach the word plate as well, which reads ‘Let’s get through this together!’. Rin also comes with another blank plate for you to write something of your own, if you want to!

009

They can also use other expressions now!

The previous Rin & Len Nendoroids had differently shaped head parts, which meant that expressions from other Nendoroids could not be attached to them, but the new design allowed for a few changes which means you can use any other expressions on them now!

The expressions in the photo above come with other Nendoroids and are not included with Rin & Len – it’s just to show how much fun you can have by using some expressions from other Nendoroids in your collection!

The megaphone and whistle they have can either be held, or attached around their necks like the megaphone is here!

008

Displayed together with Miku!

The 4th set of Cheerful JAPAN! products:
Nendoroid Rin & Len Kagamine: Cheerful Ver.!

They were shipped out from Good Smile Company yesterday! Everyone who ordered should receive their figures shortly!

And don’t forget…
