Kaho-tan here. ( @gsc_kahotan)  And I just got an insatiable craving for coarse grain mustard!

Like I could eat it spread on a slice of bread… Delicious!

Well, moving on – today we’ll be taking a look at

Nendoroid Bismarck Kai!

From the popular browser game “Kantai Collection -KanColle-” comes a Nendoroid of the upgraded version of the nameship of the Bismarck-class battleships – Bismarck Kai! The figure is designed based on the “Kai” version, but also includes parts which allow you to partially recreate the “zwei” and “drei” versions of her as well!

She comes with three face plate including a standard expression, a combat expression as well as am embarrassed expression. Optional parts include the standard turret firing effect parts as well as torpedo firing effect parts for displaying her in her “drei” form.

The ship parts are articulated to be highly flexible when posing, allowing you to move all her fire power to one side or instead balance it out evenly! The legendary black cat that is also included to display by her side! Be sure to add the very first KanColle Nendoroid based on a German ship to your collection!

“Gut. It’s my turn, now.”

“Kantai Collection -KanColle-” will celebrate its 5th anniversary on April 23.  And just in time for the festivities, we present this cute little Nendoroid of the modified version of the prized German Bismarck series Super Dreadnaught name ship – Bismarck Kai!

And this even the large armaments have some articulation of their own! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

Each turret and its platform can rotate, and the range of motion for each arm has been extended.★

▲Look how far the upper arm can fold inwards!

For that reason, the rigging has to be firmly affixed to her shoulders…

You can even concentrate your firepower all on one side! (っ’ω’)っ))


Pair together with her battle expression for a relentless attack scene! ♪

And to make sure you can maneuver those huge armaments with ease, her long hair is outfitted with some joints as well! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

 

▲So it won’t get in the way of all those arms♪

And as the base design for this ship is the Kai, we’ve made it so that you can easily transform her into the “zwei” or “drei” by trading out a few simple parts! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

 

◆Simple zwei Transformation◆

Her arm bands have changed from red to gray, and the top part of the turrets has changed from red to dark gray!

 

We’ve also included a black cat – modeled after the legendary German cat who survived many a ship wreck!

It goes well with the embarrassed face – you can almost hear her protest being left behind!

◆Simple drei Transformation◆

The biggest difference between the zwei and drei is the weapon in her hand and the topedo tubes on sides of the ship.

▲It may be SD, but we’ve skimped on none of the details! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Pair with your trusty torpedo tube effects and navy aircraft to behold this little lady’s gallant stance with abandon!

▲Both navy aircraft and effect parts come with their own stands.

Schwi (No Game No Life -Zero-)

The star of today’s blog is… !

Hello, everyone.

Kaho-tan here.  ( @gsc_kahotan)

And today we’ll be taking a look at the

1/8 scale figure Schwi!☆

From the anime movie “No Game No Life -Zero-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of the ex-machina girl, Schwi! The figure is based on the illustration from the film that featured Schwi with a part of her body destroyed, gazing out into the distance with a wistful look in her eyes.

The battered appearance of the huge weapon on her right arm and all the other mechanical details of her design have been intricately sculpted, with careful paintwork to recreate the original as faithfully as possible.

In contrast to the mechanical parts, her skin looks pale and soft with some burnt areas caused by the damage to her body – the figure melds the organic and mechanical parts of her design together with beautiful detail. Be sure to add her to your collection and enjoy the frank expression of the ex-machina that wanted to know what it meant to have a human heart.

I wished, to live together…

Highly skilled in combat and heavily armed, we proudly present this scale figure of the ex-machina girl Schwi.

Modeled after the memorable “No Game No Life -Zero” key visual, even portions not visible in the illustration have been crafted with scrupulous detail!

Including a certain ring on her left hand!

The unique color transitions in her hair have of course been carefully detailed, and a clear material has been used for the wings to give them a slight glimmer – with the same color blue you can find in her hair! ( ´>ω<`)

Her human-like flesh has a sexy pinkish hue, while the mechanical portions look painfully brutal… !

The contrast of the two creates a delight for the eyes! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

A clear material has been painted with different colors on either side, to intentionally create a more subtle shimmering effect.

To properly express each and every burn wound and gauging cut, you can see a remnant of the heat generated when the blow was dealt… !

▲Especially on the right side – you can almost hear that sizzling crackle… !

The way she’s seated flat on the ground gives a sense of “calm,” while the way her hair billows as if dancing in the wind creates “movement.” (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

▲I think you get a better sense of that movement seeing her from all 360 degrees… !

Be sure to get a good look at her expression, too!  (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

At a glance, it seems as if she’s gazing skyward with abandon, but from the front it looks as if she’s staring at something straight ahead in determination… !

Even now I feel like she could mutter something in that cute voice from her haplessly parted lips… I’m hesitant to say I like it but… it has this mysterious innocence about it, together with steadfast resolve… but regardless, I can’t look away… (/ω＼)

If you add her to your collection, please take the time to carefully appreciate all of the details!

The base incorporates the colors seen in the illustration background, so it too is captured in the figure!

Nendoroid Taikogane Sadamune (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Kahotan ( @gsc_kahotan ) here!  And once upon a time I lived in Sendai City.

It’s been quite a while since I was last there, so I’ve been meaning to go back… !

So, what is it we’ll be looking at today… ?

Nendroid Taikogane Sadamune!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a Nendoroid of Taikogane Sadamune, the trendy sword that likes to do everything in style! He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a combat expression and a smiling expression based on the line “Awesome. I’m all charged up!”.

His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn and his haori coat includes a joint allowing you to display him in various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection and display him with the previously released Nendoroid Shokudaikiri Mitsutada who is also being rereleased at the same time!

Introducing Taikogane Masamune in cute and tiny Nendoroid form♪

You might have seen him on yesterday’s live webcast, but let’s take another look here on the blog!

He may be SD, but his lively expression, white costume, unique hairstyle, and other defining aspects of his character have all been captured perfectly!

Even the back of his head has been sculpted in great detail! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

You may have noticed, but his cape is actually split into 2 parts, each with its own specialized joint, so you can make it flutter to the left or right depending on his pose!

In addition to his standard expression seen above, he also comes with a brave battle expression for that once in a lifetime fight.

Behold that fierce smile and sharp gaze as Mune-chan prepares to enter into battle (っ’ω’)っ))

▲Completely different from that bright and cheerful disposition from before, but no less charming… !

And the 3rd face you’ve been so patiently waiting for is the deliciously ironic smiling expression!

Mythra (Xenoblade Chronicles 2)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/7th scale…
Mythra!★

From the Nintendo Switch game “Xenoblade Chronicles 2” comes a 1/7th scale figure of Mythra, the alternate form of the legendary blade Pyra! The highly detailed original design by character designer Masatsugu Saito has been faithfully converted into a figure to capture Mythra’s powerful yet beautiful appearance for fans to enjoy by their side! She is designed to be displayed together with the previously announced figure of Pyra – display them together and have their swords crossing for an epic joint pose!

A highly detailed figure of the other form of the legendary Blade!

From “Xenoblade Chronicles 2” comes a 1/7th scale figure of Rex’s partner – the legendary blade known as the “Holy Grail”, Mythra!

In her hand she holds her huge sword which is captured through the use of translucent parts allowing the light to shine through it in a beautiful way!

Her iconic outfit has also been very intricately detailed! 

The golden bronze parts of the outfit make use of a metallic pain, and the green areas that glowed in the series are captured with pearl paintwork for a similar appearance! (∩・∀・)∩

In addition, the entire outfit has a slightly glossy finish which contrasts against the bare skin showing on the figure so nicely!! ♪

Her hair also makes use of a pearl paint, which gives it a brilliant shine that changes depending on the angle you choose to look from! ☆

Even if we take a look at behind her hair… 

The details of her outfit are faithfully included on the design even in areas that are normally not visible on the figure! You really can enjoy Mythra from absolutely any angle you please! ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

Let’s take a closer look at her face!

She has such a cute and confident smile on her face that contrasts the difference between her and Pyra’s personalities perfectly.

Looking right into her eyes is definitely cute, but I also quite enjoyed this angle! It makes her look a little bit younger and more playful! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Nendoroid Common Raccoon (Kemono Friends)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Common Raccoon!★

From the popular anime series “Kemono Friends” comes a Nendoroid of “Arai-san”, the common raccoon! She comes with three face plates including a confident smiling face, a searching expression for when she is desperately searching about as well as a despondent expression!

A large selection of hand and arm parts are included to capture her various poses from the series, and she also comes with her “treasure”, Kaban-chan’s hat! Be sure to display her together with the other Nendoroid friends from the series, including the upcoming Nendoroid Fennec Fox!

“Just leave it to me!”

An adorable Nendoroid of the easily flustered Common Racoon from Kemono Friends! Her fluffy ears and tail as well as her cute outfit with a large ribbon on the front have all been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size! ♡

Her tail is also fitted with a joint so it can be wagged left and right! ♪

Last but not least, her third face plate is this despondent expression!

I want to pet her and make it better!!

This expression with a wistful, uncertain look captures her so perfectly! In addition, she also comes with her “treasure”!

Her treasure known as Kaban-chan’s hat!

This is perfect for displaying her with the previously released Nendoroid Kaban-chan! The hat is also the perfect size to place on the Lucky Beast that was included with Nendoroid Serval! (っ’ω’)っ))

Nendoroid Asahi Azumane (Haikyu!!)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Asahi Azumane!

From the popular volleyball manga series with an equally popular anime, ‘Haikyu!!’, comes a Nendoroid of one of Karasuno High School Volleyball Club’s “dependable ace”, Asahi Azumane! He comes with three face plates including a gentle standard face, a serious expression for displaying him playing a match as well as the panicked expression that he sometimes had in the series!

The Nendoroid allows you to recreate a number of memorable scenes from the series and also comes with a volleyball as well as a special base made in the image of a volleyball court. He also comes with alternate hair parts to display him with an alternate hairstyle! Be sure to display him with the other characters from Karasuno High School Volleyball Club and recreate your favorite scenes from the series!

“I am the ace of Karasuno High!”

The gentle ace of Karasuno High School is joining the Nendoroid series! Even in Nendoroid size his slight chin beard has been faithfully included on the design! The balance between the cuteness of the Nendoroid and his slightly wild appearance is perfect!

Plus if you look from the back you can see the way he has his hair tied up in a ball! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

▲ The tightly tied-up ball looks rather cute!

His first face plate that you can see in the photo above is a cheerful and gentle smile, but he also has a very contrasting serious expression which is perfect for when he is playing in a match!

▲ The usual ball parts with a stand are included for dynamic scenes!

He also comes with alternate front hair parts and a hair elastic part which allow you to display him in his appearance after the inter-high trials!

The panicked expression he sometimes showed in the series!

The difference between character between his serious expression and this expression is amazing, and yet they both capture different sides of her personality so nicely! ♪

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure that should have been announced last month; the 1/7th scale…
Akari Kawamoto!

From the popular anime “March Comes in Like a Lion” comes a figure of the eldest of the three sisters that live in Sangatsu town, Akari Kawamoto! The figure is based on an original illustration by character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama (SHAFT), and has been carefully supervised by the original author of the series, Chica Umino!

The cable knitting of her sweater has been captured with 3D sculptwork for an amazingly realistic appearance. The sculpt and paintwork of the figure has been carefully tuned to capture the atmosphere of the series as faithfully as possible, with Akari posed as if gently chatting with Rei Kiriyama on the way home from shopping. Be sure to add her to your collection!

The dress with flowery patterns for a cute retro appearance has been beautifully captured on the figure, and it also has a swaying movement to give the figure a more dynamic appearance as if gently blowing in the wind! ♪

Her apple print bag has also been captured in lovely detail! You can even see there are items inside by the way the sides bulge out slightly!

I also love the way her hand has been sculpted! It’s not the most showy looking hand ever, but it has a soft and gentle look to it that really suits her character perfectly!

your hand back with a nice warm grip!

The overall pose has her leaning over slighting while looking down! You will have to imagine who she is looking down at!! (*´꒳`*)

Another thing that is absolutely amazing to look at on the figure is the amount of detail on her sweater!!

The intricate pattern has been captured with perfect attention to detail thanks to the use of 3D sculpting techniques!

The photos don’t do it justice! It looks so amazing!!

The layered sticking around her shoulders, the way the fabric twists to fit her body and posture… it’s really hard to believe that this is made from hard PVC and is not as soft as it looks! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

The details of the stitching is one thing, but the slack and creases added to that make it simply outstanding! Be sure to slide your finger along the little ups and downs of the stitching once she joins your collection!

The figure is based on this original illustration which was done by the character design for the “March Comes in Like a Lion” character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama! It was illustrated especially for the figure! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

In addition to that, every stage of the sculpting and paintwork of the figure was carefully supervised by the original author of the series, Chica Umino!

Nendoroid Elf Yamada (Eromanga Sensei)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Elf Yamada!★

From the popular anime “Eromanga Sensei” comes a Nendoroid of the popular light novelist, Elf Yamada! She comes with three face plates including a cute smile, her iconic confident look as well as the embarrassed expression from the scene where she lifted up her skirt to show her panties to Eromanga sensei!

The embarrassed expression also changed color with UV light, allowing you to capture her entire face going red similar to the scene in the series! Other optional parts include one of her light novel manuscripts together with “Summon Darkness” magic circle effect part! Be sure to recreate your favorite scenes from the series!

The popular light novelist from Eromanga Sensei is joining the Nendoroid series! Her golden curly hair, sharp eyes and frilly outfit have all been shrunk down to adorable Nendoroid size! (*´ｪ`*)

She comes with three face plates, the first of which is the cute smile you can see above, while the second is her iconic confident expression! ♪

▲ She comes with folded arm parts! You can just imagine the sound of her laugh!

The Nendoroid also includes this  “Summon Darkness” light novel manuscript together with a magic circle effect part…

Which allows you to display her summoning the manuscript from the underworld!! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Her third face plate is a rather special one!

The perfect expression to recreate this scene from the series, and she even comes with alternate parts holding her skirt up to reveal her panties!! The skirt part is completely swapped out with this version! ♪

But that’s not all! This expression also includes a rather special feature! It becomes more red when hit with ultra-violet light!!


*Note that the feature is still in development, so the effect may differ on the final product!

This allows you to really bring out the complete embarrassed look, and even the various stages of embarrassment!! ♡

Nendoroid Sogo Osaka (IDOLiSH7)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Sogo Osaka!

From the smartphone game “IDOLiSH7” comes a Nendoroid of the considerate young idol, Sogo Osaka! He comes with three face plates including a cool and composed standard face, a smiling face with a bit of a dangerous air as well as a smiling face with closed eyes.

Optional parts include a bottle of tabasco sauce as well as his screwdriver allowing you to enjoy some scenes that show various different sides of his character! Nendoroid Tamaki Yotsuba is also going up for preorder soon, so be sure to display the two of them together!

The IDOLiSH7 group MEZZO” member, Sogo Osaka is joining the Nendoroid series!! The gentle color of his hair with the sprout-like part on the top, his gentle eyes and the scarf wrapped around his neck… everything has been detailed so nicely!!

He comes with a interchangeable arm parts allowing for a variety of different posing options! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

He comes with a total of three face plates! The first is his standard expression which you can see above!

Next up we have a smiling face plate!

This expression is based on the illustration from the “Ainana Police” card! The slight blushes in his cheeks is so adorable!! Plus he also comes with an electric screwdriver which can be held in hand! (/ω＼)

▲ Combined with the standard expression it has a bit of a… dangerous look!

You can also pose him with the smiling expression and no screwdriver! This is perfect to pose him as if getting all excited while talking about his favorite artists!

I’m sure the expression can be used for all sorts of other situations as well! ♪

His third face plate is a smile with closed eyes!

Great to pose him watching over the other IDOLiSH7 members!

He really looks so kind and gentle with this smile! Last but not least, he also comes with a bottle of Tabasco sauce!

April! Somehow today feels like a brand new start! Today we have a bunch of new graduates joining the GSC ranks, and we also just announced the start of a brand new company, Good Smile Arts Shanghai, Inc., hosting the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP IN Kurayoshi Figure Museum and also taking part in Wonder Festival 2018 Shanghai! A whole bunch of new things to look forward to right from the start of the month! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at….
Nendoroid Riza Hawkeye!

From the popular “FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST” series comes a Nendoroid of Riza Hawkeye together with her beloved pet dog, Black Hayate! She comes with three face plates including a composed standard expression, a gentle smiling expression as well as a dumbfounded expression, sighing at the occasional incompetence of her superior.

She comes with articulated arm parts that allow her to be displayed in her iconic saluting pose, and she also comes with both two military pistols as well as a rifle. Enjoy all sorts of scenes in Nendoroid size – from the cool and composed lieutenant Hawkeye, to the gentle lieutenant playing with Black Hayate! Also be sure to display her together with the previously announced Nendoroid Roy Mustang!

“I pull the trigger of my own will. To defend those I love.”

Lieutenant Riza Hawkeye is joining the Nendoroid series, together with her adorable puppy, Black Hayate!

Her iconic uniform has been captured in careful detail together with the way her hair has been tied up!

The expert sharpshooter also comes with two pistols and a rifle in order to display her in combat scenes!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Here she is displayed with Nendoroid Roy Mustang who is scheduled to be released later this month!! ♪
