Nendoroid Suntanned Cirno (Touhou Project)

Summer holiday’s are on the way soon! I still remember when I was in school and we had to plant and keep a diary about the growth of some Japanese morning glory. I am so terrible with flowers that I can barely keep a cactus alive, but I think I managed to get my morning glory to flower!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Suntanned Cirno!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of the ice fairy Cirno with a lovely golden tan! She comes with three face plates including a smiling face filled with confidence, an angry expression as well as a crying expression for when the tables are turned against her.

Just like her previous version she comes with both a frozen frog and an ice sword as optional parts, and this version also comes with Japanese morning glory flowers to wrap around her! Enjoy this refreshing Cirno in your collection!

The ice fairy who doesn’t melt under the blazing sun.

When the 16th game in the Touhou Project series, “Hidden Star in Four Seasons” was announced this suntanned version of Cirno made quite the impression! Now she is being transformed into a Nendoroid!

Her lovely golden brown skin, the sunflower on a ribbon at her neck and the Japanese morning glory flowers  curling around her are all faithfully included! Combined with that mischievous smile makes her look like a child ready to enjoy their summer vacation!

Long time Nendoroid collectors will know that the original Nendoroid Cirno was released back in 2011!

From the back you can get a good look at her icy wings made with translucent  parts, the large blue ribbon in her hair and the outfit made up of cold colors to contrast with her suntanned skin!

While Suntanned Cirno comes with the iconic flowers around her, must-have parts from the original are also included! ♡

Including her Frozen Frog! 

The froggy encased in a tomb of translucent ice! A work of art!

Along with the frozen frog she also comes with the ice sword that was included with the original Nendoroid Cirno! ★

This photo also shows off her second face plate which is a combat expression perfect for battle scenes with the sword!  ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Of course her third face plate is none other than a crying expression!

A special hip part is included allowing you to pose her with her legs wide open which allows you to recreate the pose when she gets beaten at her own game!

You can also use the expression with bent arm parts to display her wiping away her tears!

Frederica Miyamoto: Little Devil Maid Ver.!♡

From the idol production game ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Frederica Miyamoto in her “Little Devil Maid Ver.” outfit.

The cute maid outfit filled with ribbons and frills has been sculpted in lovely detail, and the mischievous expression on her face matches the ‘Little Devil’ name perfectly. All the details from the original illustration have been faithfully captured creating a figure that Frederica fans will be proud to enjoy by their side!

“They call me the pâtisserie of love, Frederica-chan! ♪”

The “Little Devil Maid” version of IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’s Frederica Miyamoto is becoming a scale figure! (*´ｪ`*)

The adorable pink and white maid outfit filled with frills and ribbons has been sculpted in lovely detail!

Not to mention that lovely youthful looking skin! It’s perfect!!

Her back also shows off a nice bit of skin as well as giving a look at her beautiful shoulder blades! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

The soft looking appearance of her skirt and the frills along the edge are also lovely!

Plus as you may have noticed on the first photo of the blog, her short, silky blond hair has one side carefully braided behind her lace headpiece.

Takamatsu-san from Phat! Company was in charge of this figure’s planning and when I asked him what point he would like shown on the blog, this was his answer…


＼ Her Stunning Legs!! ／

From the bone beneath the strap of her shoes, to her calves that have just the right amount of substance to them and then to those thighs underneath her skirt… (´□｀｡)

Just picture yourself slowly riding up her left leg from bottom to top! Even in the mind it feels amazing so I highly recommend it! (I hope everyone else feels the same!)

But enough about her legs, let’s take a closer look at her face!

“A sweet moment, s’il te plait?“

Her eyes are wide open for such a cute look, and her lips have a lovely dash of pink! Her tongue sticks out to grab a little bit of icing to complete the mischievous look that really grabs attention!

The blue icing on her finger of course comes from the cupcake in her other hand!

Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2017 Official Goods

This weekend, the 3rd  – 4th June 2017 is the Red Bull Air Race Chiba 2017 taking place at the Chiba Prefecture Makuhari Seaside Park! We’re going to have a couple of limited items on sale at the event, so I thought I would give a quick look at them!

First up we have a miniature version of the one and only Japanese Red Bull Air Race pilots 2017 season aircraft, the Red Bull Air Race Team Yoshi Muroya Commemorative Aircraft Model 2017 Ver.!

The packaging makes use of the same light green used on the aircraft itself!

The window on the back features a print of this year’s Team Yoshi logo. The included pylons simply need to be pushed into the little bases to complete a miniature track for the plane!

▲ The base includes the Good Smile Company logo as well as “2017” to give it that limited edition feel!

Depending on how you arrange the bases you can form all sorts of different air gates.

▲ Display two together like this for the start or finish line!

The entire model is around 10cm in width – around palm-sized and easy to put on display in various different places!

De De De De Vignette Figure (Dead Dead Demon’s De De De De Destruction)

Can you believe we are already on the last day of May! Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

De De De De Vignette Figure!

From the popular manga series ‘Dead Dead Demon’s De De De De Destruction’ comes a new addition to Good Smile Company and Max Factory’s “Wonderful Hobby Selection” series of top quality figures – a beautifully detailed vignette figure complete with the background sculpted into the design to truly bring out the atmosphere of the series.

The figure is based on an original illustration by the author of the manga, Inio Asano. His unique touch and the details on the background not only on the robot, but even on each of the leaves and tiles has been carefully sculpted to ensure a figure packed with incredible detail. The tiles of the base are also made to form the Japanese katakana “de” shape that is found multiple times in the title of the series. The figure will also come with a bonus short manga written by Inio Asano. It is the ultimate addition to the collection of any De De De De fan!

The lively pose and dynamic appearance of the figure is such a pleasure to the eyes no matter what angle you choose to look from! It really is such a beautiful work of art! ♡

Let’s start with a 360° spin! ☆

You’ll have to wait until she joins your collection to see certain angles that I can’t show though! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Here is the original illustration that the figure is based on! You can see just how faithfully it has been reproduced in figure form!

The figure stands around 180mm in height!

Let’s take a look in a little bit more detail! ♪

– Kadode Koyama –

Her red-framed glasses looking great! The swaying appearance of the ribbon on her chest is also a lovely point!

The shiny appearance of her shoes has also been captured nicely, and I personally love the rather full look of her calves! ♥

– Ouran Nakagawa –

Even the drool from her mouth has been sculpted on the figure!

She is instead wearing rather functional, expensive looking sneakers which are also sculpted in intricate detail!

– Isobeyan –

His bizarre, plump appearance is so perfect!

Although the entire figure is made from a hard material the contrast between the shiny metallic figure and the soft mushroomy look of Isobeyan really makes you expect that he should be soft to the touch! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

– Robot –

The robot everyone is riding on looks so realistic that it could just jump to life!

▲ All the details never visible on the original illustration are also faithfully detailed in a full 360° on the figure!

If we look a little from the bottom we get a good feeling for the impressive volume of the robot, as well as the fact that you can see all the structural detail inside the machine too!

▲The pole in the center is the stand for the figure!

It’s a little hard to tell from these photos, but all the warning labels and other stickers on the robot are also all faithfully included! Be sure to take a nice close look once the figure joins your collection! (*´ｪ`*)

▲ The mix of the characters, the robot and the base all merge together so well!

– Base –

If you look from the top, the base is in this shape: デ. This is the katakana for “De” ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

The smaller details such as the flowers and the tin can that were all in the original illustration have been beautifully added to the base!

Plus we also have a little intruder…

▲ If you stare at him long enough it feels like something is going to happen…

It’s quite difficult to show the amount of detail of this figure with just photos, but those of you who want to see it in person and are in Japan… I have some goods news! Nendoroid Mutsuki Kai-II (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

In the language of flowers, the Japanese camellia means reserved kindness and pride. I often enjoy looking up the meanings of flowers when I see them!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Mutsuki Kai-II!♥

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the first Mutsuki-class destroyer, Mutsuki Kai-II! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a combat expression and a half-damaged expression. She also features joints in her hips to better facilitate various different action poses.

Various effect parts to display her firing her turrets and torpedoes are included for combat scenes, and she also includes long sleeve parts to recreate her half-damaged appearance as well as a scarf based on her Valentines illustration. Be sure to display her with the previously announced Nendoroid Fubuki Kai-II and Nendoroid Yudachi Kai-II and form an adorable fleet in your collection!

“Are you really that interested in me?”

The first Mutsuki-class destroyer in her upgraded form, Mutsuki Kai-II is joining the Nendoroids! The lovely gradient in her hair, her confident and energetic expression and even the Japanese camellia flower on her ship parts have all been faithfully included! Not to mention that lovely little peek at her stomach too!

Her outfit has also been faithfully reproduced – with her navy-blue jacket.., the moon-shaped accessory on her chest and more!

Here she is displayed with the Nendoroid Yudachi Kai-II! Unfortunately Fubuki Kai-II was off to China for production so I was only able to get a two-shot!

I look forward to displaying them altogether once they are released!

But anyway, let’s get back to Nendoroid Mutsuki Kai-II!

As with most of the KanColle Nendoroids before her, she comes complete with turret firing effect parts as well as torpedo effect parts which make for a powerful combat scene!

▲ The fluttering of the ribbon on her chest also adds a nice dynamic feel!

And once she gets into battle, she also might end up in this form!

She comes with a Half-Damaged face plate! ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚

“Nyannya… I should be able to take this amount of damage…!“

Isn’t she just adorable!

I just want to pet her on the head until she feels better when I see this expression! The extra long “moe” sleeves are also a lovely addition! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

The moe sleeves also match up with her standard smiling face plate very nicely! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

▲ You can also remove the ship parts for a more everyday kind of pose! ♡

If you use the half-damaged face plate in place of the combat expression while firing…

You can pose her in a bit more of a timid combat scene!! The lovely thing about Nendoroids is that you can easily recreate your own original scenes like this!!  (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Nendoroid Lyria & Vee (GRANBLUE FANTASY: The Animation)

Can you believe we are almost into the second half of 2017 already? I hope everyone has done everything that wanted to do in the first half of the year!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Lyria & Vee!★

From the anime ‘GRANBLUE FANTASY’ comes a Nendoroid of the mysterious girl who has the power to command primal beasts, Lyria! She comes complete with a Nendoroid version of Vee to fly by her side.

Lyria comes with three face plates including an innocent smile, a gentle blushing smile with closed eyes as well as a more serious expression for combat scenes. Vee comes with both a standard lower body as well as an alternate version that can be used to display him being held by Lyria. Pose the two of them together to recreate all sorts of different situations in Nendoroid size!

“I bestow my power… unto you!”

From the popular anime series that is currently airing, GRANBLUE FANTASY: The Animation comes a Nendoroid of Lyria together with Vee! Lyria’s innocent smile is so dazzling!

Her iconic long, blue hair and the shiny, golden accessories on her arms and neck are all sculpted in lovely detail! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Gran’s close friend Vee is also included with Lyria!

He has been sculpted with one ear up and the other one bent out to the side making for a rather cute pose!

Vee also comes with an interchangeable body that allows you to display him being held by Lyria instead! っ(｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Lyria also of course comes with special arms to hold him and complete the pose!

Along with the lovely smiling face plate above, Lyria also comes with a different smile with a slight blush and closed eyes! (*´ｪ`*)

Don’t you just want to protect this smile?!

She also comes with parts to display her with her hands behind her back in a rather playful pose that matches with her adorable smile so well! I just want to pet her on the head and imagine she is smiling just for me! (/ω＼)

Another that I didn’t note above is the details on her feet! The tiny little sandals with the little gold part have all been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size!

But of course Lyria isn’t just all gentle and relaxed! She has the power to command primal beasts, and that more reliable side of her can also be posed with the Nendoroid. (∩・∀・)∩

Her third face plate is a combat expression!

The contrast between this face plate and the gentle smiles above is amazing! Simply find the face plate and parts that you think suit her best! (´□｀｡)

Nendoroid Erwin Smith (Attack on Titan)

I can’t believe how hot it is even though we are still only in May! I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to survive this Summer…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Erwin Smith!

From the anime series ‘Attack on Titan’ comes a Nendoroid of the commander of the Survey Corps, Erwin Smith! He comes with three face plates including a standard face, a shouting face as well as a smiling face.

Just like the previous Nendoroids in the series he comes complete with his Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, dual blades and effect parts to display him soaring through the air, which allow for amazing combat scenes. Erwin also comes with his Survey Corps cape similar to Nendoroid Levi, as well as an alternate front hair part to display him with his hair loose.

Nendoroid Levi is also scheduled for rerelease at the same time as his release, so be sure to display Commander Erwin with Levi and the other Attack on Titan Nendoroids to bring out the atmosphere in Nendoroid size!

“What do you see? What do you think our enemies are?”

From the anime series with a second season currently airing comes a Nendoroid of the commander of the Survey Corps, Erwin Smith! This was one of the characters selected to become a Nendoroid during the Nendoroid 10th Anniversary Next Nendoroid Survey! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

You can pose him in the classic saluting pose!

The tightly closed mouth and iconic eyebrows have all been shrunk down into cute Nendoroid size while still preserving his confident, masculine appearance!

He also comes with a shouting face plate which works with this pose nicely to show his devotion!

Determined and resolute! I can just imagine Erwin’s voice!

The figure comes with a longer stand allowing you to pose him soaring through the air with his vertical manoeuvring device as well as the included effect parts; perfect for combat scenes!

Nendoroid Sagiri Izumi!♡

From the popular anime series ‘Eromanga Sensei’ comes a Nendoroid of Sagiri Izumi dressed in the hoodie she wears when live-streaming. She comes with three face plates including a cute smile, an embarrassed, upset expression for when she feels helpless toward her stepbrother as well as a shouting expression to have her shouting at Izumi.

Optional accessories include a drawing tablet for her to complete her illustrations as Eromanga Sensei, a pile of manuscript paper as well as the mask and headset she uses while live-streaming. Recreate your favorite scenes from the series in Nendoroid size!

The illustrator known for her lewd drawings, Eromanga Sensei – also known as Sagiri Izumi is joining the Nendoroids! That doubtful expression with a slight blush on her cheeks is so very adorable! ♡

Nendoroid Luna Sakurakouji!

From the popular game “Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou ~Hidamari no Hibi~” comes a Nendoroid of Luna Sakurakouji together with her doll of Asahi!

She comes with three face plates including a standard uninterested expression, an embarrassed expression as well as a gentle smile for when she is in a good mood. She also comes with a selection of arm parts to recreate various poses from the game, as well as cat ears which can be attached to enjoy a slightly different appearance!

Let’s take a closer look at her and the various parts that are included with the Nendoroid! We’ll start off by simply switching and moving her arms to create a more assertive pose! ♡

As you can see her cute uniform has been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size, including the frills on her sleeves and dress!

Another rather amazing bit of detail is the sculptwork on her Asahi doll! It’s so tiny and yet still keeps such intricate features! You could even display her all alone as her own little figure instead of being held by Luna-sama!

She also comes with folded arm parts!

▲I find she looks even more charming with her arms folded like this! (*ﾉωﾉ)

 Plus if you look a little lower down you’ll notice that one of her more iconic outfit choices, the garter belt, is also included on the Nendoroid!

(I can’t say it too loud, but her panties are also rather intricate! You’ll have to look forward to taking a peek once she joins your collection!)

She also comes with a lovely embarrassed expression!

Although she looks a little upset she is still so very cute!! Oh, Luna-sama!!

Cat Ears!

I wish to take a moment to thank the world for cat ears. To thank the person who first thought to put cat ears on cute characters… this really brings out Luna-sama’s cute appearance out to the fullest!!

These cat ears are the kind that attach to her head by inserting them in between the front and back hair parts!

The theory that embarrassed face + cat ears = ultimate combination has been proved true right here!

If you make use of the bent arm parts you can also create a kind of kitty-like pose with her hands as well!

Her third face plate is a smiling face!

If you were looking close you may have noticed I already used this face plate in the second photo! It’s a very gentle smile that suits her personality so nicely!

The cat ears may look best with the embarrassed expression, but they still suit her more gentle expressions nicely too!

I used to work part-time at the hotel used in fhána’s “Moon River” music video. It was my very first part-time job as a student so it really brings back memories!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

The Eccentric Family 2 Capsule Toys!★

From the anime series The Eccentric Family 2 comes a set of the mascots of the Shimogamo brothers that will also help out around your desk!! The set includes 5 different items including a Yaichiro paperclip holder, a Yajiro item tray, a Yasaburo pen stand, a Yasaburo hanging mascot as well as a Yashiro smartphone stand. Collect them all and show off the eccentric family on your desk!

The cute animal brothers have been converted into cute miniature figures that can also help out around your desk! Other than the previously revealed Yasaburo pen stand, today’s blog will be the first look at their final prototypes!

Let’s first see how they look from the back!

Their fluffy, round forms have been captured perfectly!

They are all around palm-size but even so are quite large for miniature figures!

The size does differ between characters slightly, but they are definitely on the larger size for capsule toys!
