Today I’ll be taking at FREEing’s currently available for preorder 1/4th scale figure…

Reimu Haukrei

From Team Shanghai Alice’s popular “Touhou Project” series comes a big-size scale figure of Reimu Hakurei! The charm of An2A’s specially drawn illustration for this figure has been brought to life in large scale by sculptor Hiroshi (Sakura Zensen).

Her innocent expression, healthful appearance and boldly fluttering shrine maiden outfit have been recreated in great detail, making for a figure pleasing to view from any angle. Be sure to add her to your collection!

It says “big-size” in the product description, but that is no overstatement! She stands at a staggering 435mm tall! ∑(・ω・ﾉ)ﾉ

If you just look at a photo of the figure, it’s a bit hard to tell, but this is truly a gigantic-sized Reimu!

Her arm covers and gohei have also been sculpted with a windblown appearance! ◎

By the way, one thing I personally love is her slightly visible back under her clothes!

Even though the figure is large, there is still plenty of fine details like this to look at!

(Even in this size there is so much to look at… I don’t have enough eyes!)

Nendoroid Reisen Udongein Inaba (Touhou Project)

I can already feel the pollen starting to rise and my allergies starting to flare up… Spring is well on the way!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Reisen Udongein Inaba!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the “Touhou Project” comes a Nendoroid of the lunatic rabbit that escaped from the moon, Reisen Udongein Inaba! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, her iconic attacking expression with red eyes as well as a cute crying expression.

A selection of bullet parts to recreate her attacks from the game are also included, as well as alternate limp bunny ear parts to display her in her weakened form. Be sure to enjoy the lunatic rabbit in your collection!

The pleated skirt, blazer and tie and even the moon motif on her blazer have all been carefully converted into Nendoroid size!! Her lovely long purple hair has also been sculpted in lovely detail! ♪ (∩・∀・)∩

Nendoroid Suntanned Cirno (Touhou Project)

Summer holiday’s are on the way soon! I still remember when I was in school and we had to plant and keep a diary about the growth of some Japanese morning glory. I am so terrible with flowers that I can barely keep a cactus alive, but I think I managed to get my morning glory to flower!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Suntanned Cirno!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of the ice fairy Cirno with a lovely golden tan! She comes with three face plates including a smiling face filled with confidence, an angry expression as well as a crying expression for when the tables are turned against her.

Just like her previous version she comes with both a frozen frog and an ice sword as optional parts, and this version also comes with Japanese morning glory flowers to wrap around her! Enjoy this refreshing Cirno in your collection!

The ice fairy who doesn’t melt under the blazing sun.

When the 16th game in the Touhou Project series, “Hidden Star in Four Seasons” was announced this suntanned version of Cirno made quite the impression! Now she is being transformed into a Nendoroid!

Her lovely golden brown skin, the sunflower on a ribbon at her neck and the Japanese morning glory flowers curling around her are all faithfully included! Combined with that mischievous smile makes her look like a child ready to enjoy their summer vacation!

Long time Nendoroid collectors will know that the original Nendoroid Cirno was released back in 2011!

From the back you can get a good look at her icy wings made with translucent parts, the large blue ribbon in her hair and the outfit made up of cold colors to contrast with her suntanned skin!

While Suntanned Cirno comes with the iconic flowers around her, must-have parts from the original are also included! ♡

The froggy encased in a tomb of translucent ice! A work of art!

Along with the frozen frog she also comes with the ice sword that was included with the original Nendoroid Cirno! ★

Nendoroid Yuuka Kazami (Touhou Project)

February has begun!! At the start of last month I was confident preparations for WonFes would be easy as it it quite late in February this time… but as usual everything is very busy at the moment!

But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Yuuka Kazami!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of Yuuka Kazami, the character who loves and has the power to control the flowers of all four seasons.

She comes with three face plates including a gentle standard expression, an innocent smiling expression as well as a sadist expression to give her a more wicked appearance. Optional parts include a crown made from flowers for an even cuter look, an umbrella as well as attack effect parts allowing you to pose her in combat scenes as well! Be sure to add Yuukarin to your collection!

The Flower Master of the Four Seasons!
From the famous bullet hell shooting game series the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of the powerful youkai known as the Flower Master of the Four Seasons – Yuuka Kazami!

Her white blouse with a yellow neck ribbon, flowing red chequered dress, vest with the same pattern and even the frilly socks and red shoes have all been converted into Nendoroid size beautifully! Her soft looking green hair and sharp red eyes have also been captured so nicely! All the little details that make Yuukarin so special have been faithfully included! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Of course the umbrella she always carries around with her is also included!

▲ The flowery petal-like edges of the umbrella are so very intricate!

As a side note, certain parts of the back of her hair can be removed allowing you to adjust the position of the umbrella without certain parts getting in the way! (∩・∀・)∩

She also comes with many more flowery parts!

First up we have a sunflower and a flower crown!

The flower crown slips in-between the front and back hair parts to give her such an adorable appearance! The light appearance of the flowers make her look so sweet! (*´ｪ`*)

The sunflower part has colors that match up with her color scheme so nicely, and you can use it to block the smile on her expression for a slightly more ladylike appearance! It’s amazing how much the ambience of a face plate can change by simply covering up something like the mouth!

But this face plate also suits so nicely!

A lovely smiling expression!

She looks so very innocent with this smile and the various flowery parts! Just looking at her makes me want to smile! ☆

But that’s still all of the parts, she also comes with the closed version of her umbrella as a completely separate part allowing for even more posing opportunities!! ♪

Moving onto her third face plate…

A rather malicious looking sadist expression! (´□｀｡)

Just look at the way her grinning smile reveals those sharp teeth… and those focused eyes!! You’ll just have to give in to her!!! (｀；ω；´)

In addition she also comes with these attacking effect parts which can be attached to the closed umbrella for combat scenes!

Nendoroid Satori Komeiji

I want to have a nabe party before it warms up too much! I also wouldn’t mind a takoyaki party, but I haven’t had one since I was a student! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Satori Komeiji

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of Satori Komeiji, the girl who can read the minds of others. She comes with three expressions including a standard expression, an expression with her eyes half-closed as well as an embarrassed expression.

Her pets Okuu and Orin are also both included, and she also comes with a red ransel backpack that she can wear on her back. Special hand parts are also included to create a joint pose with the previously announced Nendoroid Koishi Komeiji, so be sure to enjoy the Nendoroid Komeiji sisters together!

The girl who causes even the spirits to quiver in fear!

The rather feared young girl that can read the minds of others, Satori Komeiji is joining the Nendoroids!! Her third eye has been faithfully included together with the stringy appearance of the cords that swirl around her! ε=(｡・д・｡)

△ The ends of the cord are cute yellow heart shapes!

Her soft looking light purple hair has been sculpted with detail down to the tips!

The details of her outfit are included all around!

Her first expression part has one eye closed and another half closed as a bit of a hard-to-approach expression, while her second expression is a much more gentle looking expression with eyes half-closed! ★

The slightly open mouth makes her look so innocent and defenceless! (*ﾟｰﾟ*)

Plus, she also includes her two pets Orin and Okuu!!

Let’s take a closer look at the two of them – Utsuho Reiuji (Okuu) and Rin Kaenbyou (Orin)!

They both look so adorable!! (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧

Orin’s neck is fitted with a joint allowing you to swivel her gaze a little!

Anyway, moving onto Satori’s 3rd expression…

An embarrassed expression!

Complete with upset eyebrows and a downcast look! ♪

Plus an ever so slight blush to bring it altogether! She also comes with a ransel backpack part which matches with her pastel coloring very nicely! ♥︎

If you combine this expression with the pose from earlier…

The backpack itself may have been shrunk down to Nendoroid size, but it still has very nice detail to enjoy! ♪

It connects into the stand connector on on back!

The Nendoroid stand then connects into the bottom of the backpack to keep her nice and stable! (・∀・)

Nendoroid Koishi Komeiji

Sometimes I stop my alarm in the morning before I’ve fully woken up and then wonder all morning if the alarm actually went off or not…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Koishi Komeiji!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of Koishi Komeiji, the girl who sealed away her own third eye. She comes with three expression parts including a standard hard-to-read expression, a winking expression as well as a smiling expression.

She also comes with a variety of parts that allow her to be placed in all sorts of poses, including her barrage pose from the game as well as a cute pose with her hands making a heart shape. Enjoy the bright and cheerful company of Koishi-chan in your collection!

The Closed Eyes of Love!

The character who closed her Third Eye in an attempt to get rid of her mind-reading ability – Koishi Komeiji is joining the Nendoroids! (´□｀｡)

Her frilly outfit has been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size, and her shiny, youthful eyes also really bring out her cute charm! Her third eye that can read the minds of others is included but is of course all closed up!

The cords attached to the eye spin all around the figure, but note that even the little twists that make up a heart-shape have been incorporated on the Nendoroid’s design. ♪

Also note the frills on her sleeve, the green gradient of her skirt and the little diamond shaped accessories on her design! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

A bit of a dynamic feeling is added to the figure with the fluttering ribbon as well as the waves in her hair from the back!

Her standard expression that you can see above is very cheerful and suits Koishi nicely, but she also comes with two other alternate face plates!

Those who have played the game might remember a scene like this!

Her third expression is a Winking Face! (/ω・＼)

She also comes with hand parts making a heart shape to match with the cord part!

The cord part actually comes in two different versions – a long version and a shorter version, allowing you to match the cord with your pose! Nendoroid Patchouli Knowledge

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I had a rather busy and active weekend for the first time in ages. I guess it’s not such a bad thing to go outside and absorb some sunlight once in awhile…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at:

Nendoroid Patchouli Knowledge!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of Patchouli Knowledge, the magician with a weak constitution who keeps herself confined to the Scarlet Devil Mansion’s library.

She comes with three expressions including her standard face, a smiling face and a cute yawning expression. Optional parts include sitting parts, a book and even some glasses which suit her intellectual personality. You can also pose her holding the book to cover her mouth for a rather different appearance! Enjoy keeping the adorable Patchouli by your side!

Apologies to all the Touhou fans for the long wait!!

The adorable magician that confines herself to the Scarlet Devil Mansion’s library is joining the Nendoroids! ♡ Her cute frilly negligee outfit has been shrunk into Nendoroid size very nicely! Her lovely long hair filled with ribbons as well as her puffy hat also look lovely in Nendoroid size – the details are amazing! (σ・∀・)σ

As you can see, her nightcap can be completely removed!

Here she is without her hat, deep in concentration reading her book! She looks so lovely!! All the photos up to here have made use of her standard, calm expression… but she also comes with this one! ♪

A sideways glance with a gentle smile! ♥︎

This expression gives her more of a mysterious charm! But she also comes with another item that fits with her library girl personality so very well!

Red frame glasses!!

Patchouli is also known as ‘The Unmoving Great Library’ and this pose captures that so nicely! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

(・∀・) “I wanted to bring out the intelligent side of Pache-san somehow, which led to these glasses being included!”

We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Hamako!

(・∀・) “Plus to even further bring out her character, we also included sitting parts!”

The way she is sitting is so adorable too!!

(・∀・) “I thought this way of sitting suited Pache-san’s cute looks best!”

The mixture of the childish expression and mature expression… it’s such delicious contrast!! *nom* (●´ㅂ`●) *nom*

This expression suits the glasses really well too! ♪

(・∀・) “Oh yes! There’s something I really wanted to point out about her expressions!”

Oh? What?! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

(・∀・) “The smiling face you introduced a little earlier… if you block her mouth with the book you get a pose like this!!”

Without the smile… she looks rather annoyed…!

(・∀・) “Exactly! She may only have three expressions, but if you combine them the options like this book and the glasses, you end up with all sorts of options!”

I would never expect a smile to be hidden behind that book! She really seems to be glaring at me…!! (°д°；)

But hang on…. you said three expressions?! We’ve only seen two!

(・∀・) “Her third expression is this yawning expression!”

Nendoroid Aya Shameimaru & Comiket Notice

The battleground of the Summer Comiket is almost here!

I’m actually going to be taking part in a different event over the weekend! More details about that tomorrow! ★

But today I’ll be looking a look at a Nendoroid that suits the upcoming Comiket…

Nendoroid Aya Shameimaru!!

From the popular game series by Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of Gensokyo’s resident reporter, Aya Shameimaru! She comes with a standard expression, smiling expression and even the popular “Take it easy!” expression is included!

Optional parts include her leaf fan and a tornado part to recreate her ability to control the wind! She also comes with her camera, pen and notepad to report on anything she comes across! Enjoy recreating your favorite situations from the series!

Aya is the 12th Nendoroid from the Touhou Project!!っ☆

Gensokyo’s adorable reporter, always running around to find the latest scoops! There are so many lovely little parts to play with as well! o(^▽^)o

You can pose her collecting information for her reports!

“Hey, where’d you got that yummy looking yakitori…?”

One of the big differences between the Nendoroid Petite version and this version is that her wings are also included!

A little crow is also included, so be sure to display it beside her! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Her hair is sculpted in such a way that dynamic poses are easy!

The angle of the wings can be adjusted too!

The wings each move allowing you to get them at whatever angle you need for your poses!

This is just a prototype, so it’s currently making use of a metal rod – but it’ll be normal plastic on the final product! Another thing to note is that the accessory on her head can also be moved around, allowing for poses that are perfect for someone who can control the winds! ♥

Let’s see what the planner has to say about the highlights of today’s figure!

(・∀・) “The highlight of this figure for me is the tornado part!”

(・∀・) “It’s perfect for recreating poses of Aya using her wind powers! It also looks great posed with the leaf fan!”

Hmm… why is there a hole on top of the tornado? (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

(・∀・) “Ooh! I’m glad you noticed!

“This hole allows you to attach a Nendoroid head to the tornado, trapping your favorite character in Aya’s spell!”

R-Really?!

Let me give it a go with Nendoroid Cirno’s head! ♪

This opens up so many possibilities!

There are so many characters I want to try putting in here! ε=(｡・д・｡)

(・∀・) “Also… I probably shouldn’t say this but… certain Nendoroid hip joints can also fit inside!”

Hoho… now that sounds rather interesting! (<〇>　<〇>)

As it means that you can do this!!

I had to cover it up a bit else I’ll get in trouble for sure… (・ω<；)★

(・∀・) “Oh, and another part that can’t be forgotten…

…is the ‘Take it easy’ face!”

It looks just like the original!

(・∀・) “This expression is bound to fit nicely on various other Nendoroids as well, so be sure to play around with it on some of your favorites!”

I hope I don’t get into trouble for this… but let’s try it on Nendoroid Sakura Miku!

Yesterday we had Linkin Park visit the offices!

What an honour to have them in the offices!
My voice was quivering when I said ‘Say Cheese!’ for the photo!

Not to mention that Kobayashi Kamui was also visiting!!

Oooh!! There he is! Right there in front of me!!
I was was too excited while taking these photo…

All the wonderful guests were happy to give me a smile even while I must have looked super nervous around them!! A big thank you to all of them!!

Nendoroid Fujiwara no Mokou

Hello Mikatan Blog readers!

Mikatan is still away on a business trip to China, so today I’ll be taking over the blog. My name is Nutty and I work in the production team! It’s an honor to be here, although also a bit embarrassing…

Anyway, I’ve been feeling a little peckish, and something smells really good…

It’s a cute girl holding some tasty-looking grilled chicken!!
And I’m sure many of you recognize her!

She’s from the popular shooting game series the ‘Touhou Project’; a cute character with long hair, a huge ribbon and baggy trousers:

Nendoroid Fujiwara no Mokou (Moko-tan!)

She’s a powerful user of fire magic, but she also has another amazing power – she cannot be killed even through aging – she’s completely immoral!

I managed to get hold of the prototype for the Nendoroid, so let’s take a quick look! As you can see, she’s wearing the outfit with baggy trousers seen in her original character designs!

I know I’m emphasizing the trousers quite a lot, but they’re so cute! I love outfits like this that have a different feeling to normal!

You can also pose her with hands in her pockets!

Moko-tan is so cute!! Seeing cute girls in boyish poses like this one is great!

You can also recreate the use of one of her spell cards, ”Immortal: Phoenix -Wing’s Rise-”!

These fiery effect parts are included to create the phoenix wings behind her…

If we look from the back, you can see the amount of detail on the wings!

The wings show off the cooler (or is that hotter?) side of the adorable Moko-tan, but she also comes with many more effect parts for other awesome poses!

A glaring expression and flame effects!

This expression is the selling point of Moko-tan! It captures her perfectly!! Combine the expression with the flame parts to create this mischievous looking pose!

But that’s still not all the effect parts, there are still more!

A sulking expression and different flame effects!

Here she is shooting flames from her hands, showing off her power as a fire mage! Combined with the sulking expression, she looks so amazing!!

Anyway, that covers all the effect parts… now I need to go get something to eat, like some grilled chick- hang on, there is still one part I haven’t shown properly yet! The one part that appeared at the very start of the blog…

Grilled chicken parts!

Moko-tan claims to run a health conscious grilled chicken shop, and here she is holding some of her wares! She looks very happy with them! (‘ｖ’*)

It really does look so tasty… I wish I could try some together with her!!

Nendoroid Alice Margatroid!

From Team Shanghai Alice’s popular Touhou Project game series, comes a Nendoroid of the magician who lives in the Forest of Magic, Alice Margatroid! The puppets allow you to pose Alice showing off her ability to control puppets in battle – just one of the many interesting situations you can recreate in Nendoroid form!

This is how she looks from the back!

The stand is a rather unusual type for a Nendoroid – it is just held at the toes, but still allows her to be posed in all sorts of interesting poses! Alice’s beautiful blond hair with the red band in it are also sculpted so cutely!

She also has this lovely smiling face!

Alice comes with two lovely smiles for you to choose from. This part is even ideal for combat, as Alice always knows she is stronger! 😛

She also comes with a bent arm which you can use like this to make it look like she is brushing her hair back!

Her grimoire is also included!

You can have her hold it in her right hand, and you can also swap out shoulder parts to pose her with her arms opened out!

The bent left arm you see here is different to the one in the above image – there are two different types allowing for more posing options!

Even more extra parts for crossed arms!

A special arm and shoulder part are included to create this pose with her arm forward. It’s quite hard to see in this photo, but her right arm is also quite far forward while holding the grimoire. If the left hand was put down the arms would be crossing.

Alice’s lovely puppets!!

They are so tiny! Super tiny!! They each have their own little pose and the heads can also be moved to the left and right. You can also swap the weapons between them!

Now you can keep one of the puppets with you wherever you go, attached to your phone or music player!! There will be a total of three puppets, including this one with a headphone jack attachment!
