I can’t believe we’re already in August! I have to do something summerish soon! At the very least I’ll get some shaved ice sometime this week! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Elise!♡

From the popular game ‘Fire Emblem Fates’ comes the bright and cheerful youngest child of the Nohr royal family – Elise! She comes with three different face plates including a standard expression, a cute smiling expression as well as an upset expression with her cheeks puffed up.

Optional parts include a ‘Heal’ staff as well as healing effect parts allowing you to display her healing her allies on the field as a Troubadour. Her trusty steed is also included in the special color scheme unique to Elise, allowing you to really bring the Fire Emblem universe to life in your collection! Enjoy the cute and innocent Elise in your collection!

The youngest child of the Nohr royal family is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

The unique rolled appearance of her blond hair as well as her innocent, friendly eyes are so lovely! She holds a ‘Heal’ staff in both hands which has also been carefully shrunk down to Nendoroid size! Her pink, white and black outfit is also nicely detailed down to the little accessories and ribbons!!

Plus she even comes with a horse in matching colors!

Not only can Elise actually be posed riding on the horse, but the front legs are also articulated allowing you to pose her galloping along the battlefield! ♪

It’s more like an entire second figure rather than an optional part! Quite similar to the Pegasus previously included with Nendoroid Sheeda: New Mystery of the Emblem Edition!

She also comes with some sparkling healing effect parts! ☆

Perfect for her starting class as a Troubadour! Ready to head out and heal her allies! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

She also comes with this adorable expression which would make anyone want to protect that innocent smile of the young princess!!

A warm, cheerful smiling expression! (｡☌ᴗ☌｡)

Here it looks like she is gently petting her horse – she could be complimenting her on a good job out in the battlefield, or just cheerfully talking to her as a close friend!

Either way, the smile really captures Elise’s gentle side!

As such a cute character I’m sure there were many players like me that did whatever they could to keep Elise safe on the battlefield to help protect this smile from any danger! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

Onto her third expression…!☆

An upset expression to capture the more childish, spoilt side of her personality!

The way her cheeks are all puffed up is so adorable!! Elise plays an important role in the series, but she also needs to have an expression that captures her young age! (*’∀’人）

As you can see, the various parts and expressions allow you to enjoy all sorts of different scenes from combat down to everyday scenes! Enjoy the adorable charm of the young Nohr princess in your Nendoroid collection!

Kahotan Post Office: Summer & Figures 2016 Edition – Part 2

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I have recently become quite addicted to tokoroten! Just combine the included flavouring with lots of Japanese peppers and a blend of spices and it makes for such an amazing food!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be continuing to look at some of the photos that were went in to Kahotan Post Office! You can find the previous post below!

Summer & Figures!!

We are already into August! Is everyone enjoying their Summer?! I have started sleeping with the air-con on, increased by daily ice-cream intake to two per day and enjoyed all the signs in stores saying they have started serving chilled Chinese noodles! I even saw a fireworks festival the other day! …on the news!

Good Smile Company will also be attending various events including the upcoming Comic Market! Take a look at the event information page for more details!

I completed my doll house in time for the Summer and snapped a photo to commemorate. There is nothing that says Summer more like enjoying some watermelon on the veranda!

I can just imagine the bells jingling in the wind and the smell of mosquito repellent! Hiei is really enjoying the ideal image of Summer in Japan here!!

I went on a trip to New York and visited the fountain that appeared in the LoveLive! movie. Rin-chan and Kayochin are enjoying some ice cream by the fountain!

It’s days like that that I really enjoy some ice-cream together with Snow Miku-san in a nice air conditioned car. I’m glad that Snow Miku seems so cheerful even through the Summer! (^^♪

Because I couldn’t go to the beach, I made a beach diorama for my Nendoroid Sakura and Tomoyo to enjoy the summer.

Momo Belia Deviluke & Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver.

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! I am determined to one day add Dress-Up: Bunny Girls to the Nendoroid More series at some stage!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at these two with preorder deadlines fast approaching!

Momo Belia Deviluke: Bunny Ver.
& Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver.!

This is the second of FREEing’s bunny girl figure series that I’ve reviewed with Miyuki Usami and Miya Usami being the first!

I fall more in love with the series the more I look at them!

The preorder deadline for these two is coming up quickly so I really wanted to do a review of them before time runs out! Let’s take a closer look at them one-by-one!

Momo Belia Deviluke: Bunny Ver.
“Let’s make a paradise filled with bunny girls!”



From the popular series ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a collection of the girls wearing bunny girl outfits! The first in the series is Momo Belia Deviluke wearing a lovely pink bunny girl outfit and placed in a cute sitting pose hoping you’ll come and sit by her side – the perfect entrance into the bunny girl paradise!

The figure is an impressive 1/4 scale in size and features net tights made from actual fabric for a more realistic appearance filled with highlights to enjoy! Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver. is also scheduled to be up for preorder soon, so be sure to add both of them to your collection!

If you look at her from a slightly higher angle you get that upward sideways glance that looks so adorable!! The blush on her cheeks also gets the mind racing as to what she might be thinking about!

Beautiful Legs! ♥


They look like nice healthy, slender legs and the net thighs combined with high heels are just the basics of a perfect bunny girl outfit!! (੭ु´･ω･`)੭ु⁾⁾

Yep. Simply Lovely…! ♥

The best thing about figures is that you can enjoy your favorite characters from all sorts of angles, and the fact that this is a sitting pose makes this angle all the more enjoyable! I really thank the sculptor for all the lovely angles like this one!!

Tail! ♥

Momo’s cute tail has also been faithfully included on the figure! The feeling of the tail’s movement as she lifts it up has been captured so nicely!

There are no words for how much I like this!

Anyway, let’s move onto the second main feature for today!

Golden Darkness: Bunny Ver.
“Is this the kind of thing you’re into?”

From the popular series ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a collection of the girls wearing bunny girl outfits! The second in the series is Golden Darkness wearing a black bunny girl outfit that contrasts her golden hair beautifully for an effect true to her name. Even though she has a rather unconcerned look on her face, she is in a pose that reaches a new scale of sexiness for fans to enjoy!

The figure is an impressive 1/4 scale in size and features net tights made from actual fabric for a more realistic appearance filled with highlights to enjoy! Be sure to display her with the previously announced Momo Belia Deviluke: Bunny Ver. and create your own To Love-Ru bunny girl harem!

 Another absolute beauty…! ♡

The cute expression with her mouth open ever so slightly as if about to say something really gets the imagination running! I personally love looking at the expression and pose of figures and trying to figure out what they might be thinking and feeling! I wonder if that’s just me or if all figure fans do that too!

Looking a little from the side! ▼


The way her arms are posed behind her back… this angle gives her expression a bit of a sad, wistful appearance!

The flow of her hair is fantastic! ♡

The sculpting of her hair is absolutely amazing, but also take a look at the pose from the back! It almost looks like she is trying to protect her bottom with her hands from this angle!

 The way her body is curved is also lovely! ♡

The pushed out modest chest really makes me feel rather empathic as well as rather excited!! I keep explaining how the figure makes me feel more than explaining the figure itself… I get the feeling I’m going to get into trouble for that soon, but…

There are no words for how much I like this!

Wonhobby 24 ORANGE ROUGE Booth & Gokotai!

Hello everyone!  Chan-Shuu (@gscs_hirase) from the GSC Planning team here! Recently been walking two of the stations to work thanks to a certain game that involves throwing red and white balls…

Anyway, today I’m going to start off by saying a big thanks to everyone who came to visit the WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR YOU!!24 booth during last weekend’s Wonder Festival! So many people stopped by to enjoy the exhibits, sales and stage! It was such a pleasure to watch everyone enjoying themselves!!

Today I’m going to be sharing some photos the the new ORANGE ROUGE figures that were on display at the event!

As you can see there were so many people lining up to see the figures and take photos despite the heat!! A big thank you once again to everyone once again! m(_ _)m

The event had announcements of unpainted and painted prototypes as well as just illustrations of upcoming projects! There were a lot of them so let’s take a look!

Last but not least, let me take a quick look at this figure which was on display and is now already up for preorder!! 
▼ 1/8th Scale Gokotai!

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Gokotai based on his standard standing pose from the game.

The slim figure you would expect from a short sword, the fluttering collar and long sleeves of his outfit and his gentle, cheerful expression have all been captured perfectly for fans to enjoy from any angle they please. The figure also comes complete with five little tigers each with unique patterns, poses and beautiful eyes to display around him. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“Ye-Yes! I am ready… as always…”

The very first ORANGE ROUGE scale figure of a ‘Tantou’ short sword. His petite build, the tiger popping out from the back of his head and another four tigers running around at his feet make for a figure filled with highlights from both a sculpt and paintwork perspectives!

▲His charming teeth look great on the figure! So cute!

The characteristic coloring of his eyes, his soft looking hair and his silky white skin have all been beautifully included on the figure! Also take a look at the eyes of the tigers! They are such beautiful colors and so shiny and lively!!  (＾ω＾＊)

▲ The dark outfit contrasts with his pale skin very nicely!

The emblem on the back of his outfit with it’s shiny gold appearance also adds a nice accent to the overall design! The long sleeves cover up a large amount of his hands but the dainty fingers coming out the ends are so very intricate!!

▲ The long legs that come out from his short pants are so thin and yet still keep a lovely symmetry with a beautiful sculpt. The sculpting of his loafer shoes is also amazing!

But really… as if Gokotai wasn’t cute enough on his own, these tigers are absolutely adorable!! They can all be placed wherever you like as they are not held in place by anything!

Nendoroid Levi, Nendoroid Levi: Cleaning Ver., Nendoroid Yukimura Sanada enjoying some delicious Summer fruits!

July and August are the months for watermelon and melon, Yukimura went and harvested them and Levi cute them up for everyone! You can see just how happy Yukimura is to see the cut melon!! Or perhaps he was just impressed with Levi’s cutting skills! Cleaning Levi was invited by Yukimura on the way in and is just standing on the side watching over the cutting.

After this they all enjoyed the watermelon and melon together, Yukimura went back to his training and Levi went back to cleaning up.

I took Yukata Miku with me to a temple in Uji known for its hydrangeas – Mimurotoji! It really was just a sea of beautiful hydrangeas!

I also tried the mixture of Snow Miku and hydrangeas and it looked a lot better than I expected so I took some photos of her too!


Under B sent in two different Miku & Hydrangea photos, but I couldn’t decide which one I liked so I decided to add both of them! The deep, gentle colors of the flowers really match with Miku nicely! ♡

Nendoroid Mumei

Today’s Main Feature!


Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Mumei!

From the anime series ‘Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress’ comes a Nendoroid of Mumei wearing her combat uniform! She comes with three different face plates including a cute standard expression, a gallant combat expression as well as a more comical glaring expressionHer backpack engine is included and although small is filled with intricate details. Two of Mumei’s steam pistols are included as weapons and also come with effect parts as well as interchangeable parts to display them with bayonets deployed. Alternate hair parts without her head armor are also included allowing you to display a more everyday side of Mumei as well!

Kabaneri. Neither human nor Kabane, but something in-between.

The girl with a small build and bob cut hair that appeared on the Iron Fortress – Mumei is joining the Nendoroids! Her characteristic combat uniform has also been shrunk down to Nendoroid size down to the cloth wrapped around her legs and the blue ribbons tied in various different areas! ♪

If you look from the back you can see that her bob cut hairstyle has been faithfully sculpted with the inside trimmed up higher!

△The backpack engine has a nice sharp, metallic appearance!

Plus her steam pistols also include interchangeable parts to display them with the bayonet parts deployed, allowing for even more poses from the series!

△ You can create a jumping feeling with the Nendoroid stand! ★

Mumei dancing through the air in combat!
Of course, she also comes with an expression more suited for that…


A gallant Combat Expression!
Plus she also comes with effect parts to display her pistols firing! ♪


She might have a small build, but her ability in combat is not to be underestimated!

While Mumei certainly has her cute scenes as the heroine of the series, it’s great to also be able to pose her more gallant side as she battles against the Kabane! (*´﹃｀*)

She also comes with alternate hair parts without the armor!

Perfect for displaying the more innocent and playful side of Mumei in your collection! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ ｸﾞｯ !

Moving on to her third expression!

A Glaring Expression!

The slightly tsundere side of Mumei that sometimes came out in the series can be recreated with this expression!

As you can see, the figure allows you to enjoy all sorts of different charms of Mumei’s character in all sorts of different poses! Choosing which pose to display her in might be rather difficult though!☆

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! Still getting over the excitement from the weekend of WonFes!

A big thanks to everyone who came by our booth at the event! I was positioned at the Sakura Kinomoto exhibition area and got the pleasure of watching all the fans enjoy the details of the figures!

During the ‘No Photos’ time after 16:00 I felt like I was in a museum with people lining up to see some kind of rare exhibit and then enjoying the reaction of fans as they looked on at the figures. It really made me feel proud to me a member of the Good Smile Company team! (*´ω`*)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at one of the figures that was displayed at WonFes and is now up for preorder!
Alisa Illinichina Amiella!



From the anime series ‘GOD EATER’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the Fenrir Russian Branch God Eater, Alisa Illinichina Amiella! She has been sculpted based on her pose from the anime series’ main key visual, carefully keeping her high-minded, composed appearance intact in figure form. The sculpting on her huge ‘God Arc’ has also been carefully detailed to give the figure a striking appearance that can’t be missed!

Let’s start off with a quick spin! ♪


It’s so exciting the whole way around! (*´ω`*)

The chequered parts of her outfit, creases in the fabric and the shiny appearance of her boots all look lovely, and the contrast between Alisa herself and the impressive God Arc by her side is also such a pleasure to look at! Let’s take a closer look from the top down!

Starting from the top! 

The cute flat cap with its chequered design is nicely visible from this angle, and you can also see the detail of the emblem on her chest!

I’ve recently been learning more and more about the manufacturing process of figures which often makes me ponder about how they are going to mass produce some of these more intricate details!! But I’m also very confident they will find a way, so don’t worry about it!!

Down to her face and expression! 

While she looks lovely from the front, a low angle shot like this seems to suit Alisa so well! That somewhat upset expression and the downward gaze also might tickle the fancy of some as well!

Down to her skirt!


Yep! Just look at the lovely pattern on the skirt!! This photo was taken completely to show the details on the skirt and not show a nice close up of the beautiful curves of Alisa’s body! Don’t get me wrong!!

The God Arc has a mostly mechanical appearance but has certain aspects that make it look like a living thing at the same time! As I said above the beautiful skin of Alisa’s profile and the heavy looking, boorish weapon make for such a lovely contrast! I wish I could explain this beauty with better words for everyone!!

The rather disconcerting vein-like cables that come out from the grip of the God Arc make for such a unique appearance! The God Arc also seems to be lifting up Alisa’s skirt a little which makes me rather jealous!

Her Feet and Debris Base!

This is definitely one of my highlights on the figure! The damage of the base really sets the scene and adds to the atmosphere of the figure!

Ciel Alencon also from God Eater was released back in February 2015! The two of them together with their God Arcs really look amazing displayed together!!

(Ciel Alencon is also a rather nostalgic figure to me as when I first joined GSC I wrote the introduction text for the figure that was placed on our official website!)


Whether or not you have Ciel Alencon, she still looks amazing though!

Nendoroid Remo

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I’ve had yet another PC breakdown and had to replace my work computer… this is the third time in five years!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Remo!

From the anime movie ‘Garakowa: Restore the World’ comes a Nendoroid of the girl who lose her memories, Remo! She comes with three face plates including her standard smiling expression, a face stuffing her cheeks with cake as well as a ‘Mother’ expression with a very different feeling to it.

Optional parts include some cake with a fork, as well as the glass flower from the series! She can even be posed in a cute pose holding the glass flower with both hands! Be sure to add the adorable Nendoroid Remo to your collection!

“I have to return to the flower garden…”

The beautiful program that found her way into the Box of Wisdom, Remo is joining the Nendoroids! The little flower hair accessories, light purple hair, beautiful wide eyes and her cute outfit have all been shrunk down to Nendoroid size preserving all of Remo’s adorable charms in Nendoroid form!

The wispy one-piece dress she is wearing has all the patterns around the chest, sleeves and shoulders kept intact for the Nendoroid!★

△ Even the area normally covered up by her hair has been faithfully sculpted!
She also comes with a large bouquet of glass flowers and a ‘peace sign’ hand part to recreate this pose on the mini-shikishi that was given to those who came to see the film at theatres!

The fingers of the peace sign touch her cheek gently for a very cute pose!

In addition, she also comes with a single glass flower allowing you to choose which suits her best! ♪


Anyway, let’s move on to her other expressions!

Her second expression is this cute expression stuffing her cheeks!

Made in the image of the scene that she ate cake with Dual!

Her ‘Mother Expression’!

A rather different expression to the other two, this expression is based on Remo in her indifferent and somewhat expressionless ‘Mother’ state! A very important expression to capture more of Remo’s character! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Nendoroid Osamu Dazai

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Osamu Dazai!

From the anime series ‘Bungo Stray Dogs’ comes a Nendoroid of the Armed Detective Company member – Dazai Osamu! He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a grinning expression as well as a rather carefree expression!

Optional parts include effect parts to display him using his ability as well as his favorite book, ‘A Guide to Suicide’. He also comes with parts to pose him with his hands in his pockets to better capture his personality, and he even comes with special parts to display him trying to drown himself! Enjoy the cute and stylish Osamu Dazai in your collection!

Osamu Dazai. Ability: “No Longer Human”.

From Bungo Stray Dogs comes a Nendoroid of the member of the ‘Armed Detective Company’ who loves suicide – Osamu Dazai!

His casual-style black hair, trench-coat, loop tie and everything else about his outfit has been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size and he also comes with the ‘A Guide to Suicide’ book that he loves so much! His personality also comes out so nicely – he has that kind of mysterious yet handsome appearance!

This is how he looks from the back! ★

The way the trench-coat flows around him and the belt is wavering around gives a nice dynamic feeling, and the sculpt of his hair makes it look so smooth and silky!

Even in a simple standing pose like this the Nendoroid really feels so alive thanks to the dynamic sculpt! I think he will be really great for figure photography! He also comes with special parts to display him with his hands in his pockets!☆

A bit more of a comical expression that appears in the series!

This expression also looks good with the mouth covered!

Perfect for a little giggle when Kunikida believes one of his lies!

Osamu’s ability ‘No Longer Human’ allows him to counter other people’s abilities, and you can pose him making use of it with these parts!

WonFes 2016 Summer Sneak Peek!

Two Days Until WonFes!

Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! Feeling a little too carefree in the offices that seem super busy with WonFes just around the corner!!

The preparations for the event are well underway!

▲ We also had the usual pre-WonFes pizza party at the offices! It provides us with the energy required to get through WonFes! (`・ω・´)
