That’s not something I would expect from you!!

What are you doing to that poor figure! I think the bad influences around the office are getting to him…

It might look like he is doing something indecent… or painting in that photo, but he is actually just using a tool to fine tune the angle that the figure is displayed at… I was so close to hitting him over the head as well…

Anyway, today’s product review is this beautiful figure…

1/8th Scale Leicia!

BEATLESS is a short novel that is being written by Satoshi Hase and illustrated by redjuice. This figure if of one of the main characters in that story, the female hIE – ‘Leicia’!

It’s VERY big!!

But it’s a lot more than just big – it also looks absolutely fantastic! Let’s take a closer look!

A close up of Leicia-chan!

The huge device that makes up the stand does stand out a lot – but by no means does that make Leicia herself less incredible! Her whole body – hips, even her boots all have gradient painting!

Plus she is really sexy!

She isn’t showing much skin, but the little bits that peek out are really something!

don’t really like taking photos like this that show only half a figure’s face, but Leicia is beautiful at any angle! I beauty is a beauty no matter how you look at her!! Plus this angle gives a good look at her hips and the unique outfit around them – it’s quite big!

Oooh! The pose really works nicely for a shot like this! By the way, I have no idea what the huge device behind her is… but I’m sure we’ll find out in the story soon….?

Eeeh! that’s not fair!
In the end, all that has been decided is that we shall call it the ‘Device’! 😛

Such a relaxed expression!!

It’s absolutely wonderful!!

I’m super impressed as always with the sculptors and painters – they have really captured redjuice’s illustration perfectly! It’s also really lifelike – just by changing the angle ever so slightly the expression looks so different – it was really difficult to get the right photo!! (albeit, I’m not so sure lifelike is the right word, seen I’m not sure if Leicia is really alive… :P)

Her magnificent body line!

I think the main contributions to her sexy look are her armpits and the area between her breasts… it’s probably because they are fairly rare places to see on a figure. When you suddenly get to see them on a figure they are all the more compelling to look at, don’t you think? It’s really hard to pin point just why she looks so sexy though!!

The device has a little secret of its own!

Take a look at the wing-like part with the blue line on it.

This part opens and closes!!
It can open and close to any point, so you just need to find the point that you want to display it at.

A closer look on the inside of the device!

It might be quite hard to see in this photo… but it’s really impressive how detailed it is in there…

The incredible thing is, the device is made using 3D data that redjuice made himself!!

Obviously the final brush-ups were done by the 3D team, but to think the design was done by the illustrator himself!! This is one of the first times that the 3D model was actually used to help draw up the 2D version! ^^;

The inside of the device was also all done by redjuice!

Cheerful JAPAN! Part 3: figma Miku Hatsune: Support ver.!

I went on a visit to the design team!

I seem to have found something resembling a master figure at the boss’ desk…!

Ah! I’ve been searching everywhere for this one! I went through both the manufacturing and production teams in search of her… and now I find her with the design team! I feel kind of bad stealing it from the boss’ desk though… but there comes a time that the underdog must stand up to her superiors! 😛

The third part of the Cheerful JAPAN! Project:

The design is of course based on the original figma Miku which was released in 2008, but the silver on her clothes is slightly brighter than the original version! I really can’t believe it’s been three years since the original was released!

She also comes with a nice set of optional parts!

First up is her singing face and mike!

As the world’s most renown digital diva, she just has to have these parts included – not to mention they suit her perfectly! Obviously a separate hand to hold the mike is also included!

She also comes with a mike stand!

Plus you can even pose her holding the mike stand up like this! The mike on the stand can of course be removed – it’s really a detailed little extra!

It’s not Miku if there is no leek!

I remember when the original figma was released the whole of GSC was amazed at the quality of this leek… and even now I’m still impressed! She is only holding one in the image above, but there are in fact two included with the figma!

That covers everything that the original Miku figma had, but now we move into the new parts added for the Support ver.!

A smiling support face and a support flag!

An all new expression for figma Miku! Plus a vibrant orange flag with the Cheerful JAPAN! logo for her to show her support! Those red cheeks are so adorable! Miku is such an angel!!

And finally – pompons!

Just like with the Nendoroid version of Miku, the pompons are fitted with ball joints so they can be posed at all sorts of different angles!

The lovable guitarist from Sakura High’s light music club in the popular anime ‘K-ON!’. She is wearing the Santa outfit that she wore in episode 7 of the first season, ‘Christmas!’.

As with all the previous 1/7th scale K-ON figures from Max Factory, the quality is absolutely wonderful! It’s definitely a figure that Yui fans will buy with no regrets whatsoever! Just look at those lovely long legs and bare feet…

The Santa hat can be removed!

This quality really looks just as good as the master figure did… it’s incredible… just look at that adorable smile! It suits Yui so well! What a wonderful world we live in that you can keep such a wonderful smile by your side whenever you like!

The whole Santa outfit can be removed!

To reveal her swimsuit!!

The outfit is made of soft plastic that comes off very easily, and the balance of the figure is kept wonderfully both with and without the Santa outfit! It’s really incredible! Batayan was the head of production for this one – and got the fitting of the Santa outfit down perfectly!

The detail on the swimsuit really is incredible – from the glossy shine down to the creases in the material – it’s all there! It really looks just like a real swimsuit – the sculptor’s are just too good at their work!

Nendoroid Ritsu Tainaka & Nendoroid Petite: K-ON Resale!

I really, really want Nendoroid Ritsu Tainaka – is there any chance we can see a resale of her?

I managed to get all the others when they went on resale, but Ritsu just never appears… The other band members say they are lonely and are leaving a tear-filled pillow every night. Or perhaps that’s just me…

… I’ve always wanted to say that!

And the reason I can say that is very simple! There have been lots id requests for a Ritsu Nendo resale, and thus she is indeed coming back again! Apologies for the delay!

The third K-ON Nendoroid:

Nendoroid Ritsu Tainaka!

She is of course from the ever-popular anime series ‘K-ON!’, and is the drummer in Sakura High’s light music club. Her going on resale also means that every one of the K-ON Nendoroids have gone on resale!

This is how she looks from the back!

Most Nendoroids released at the moment feature the ‘arm’ stand that pushes into the Nendoroid’s back, but to keep Ritsu consistent with the other four girls she still makes use of the ‘sitting’ stand. It’s a little different to the normal stand though – she actually stands on the ground and not the base – this is so that she doesn’t look off when posed playing the drums.

Let’s move onto the optional parts!
Her sobbing face and bump on the head!

Those of you who already own her will know – but the bump actually attaches with a magnet! Isn’t that smart!

It’s a little more work for the production team, but it means you won’t see a giant hole in her head when the bump isn’t attached. Tsukki from the production team came up with the idea!

A flustered expression and hands!

Perfect to recreate the pose above in Nendoroid form! 🙂 The hands were actually for use for the sobbing face, but I think this works great as well! Oh, and the cake isn’t included with the Nendoroid – it’s my own personal mini chocolate cake! 😛

The overdone drum set!

Parts to display her with her hair down!

The hair is supposed to be displayed with the flustered face along with the ‘love letter’, to recreate a scene from one of the extra episodes, but I decided to use an expression from another character instead! Her expressions are exchangeable with a couple of other Nendoroids, so you can play around with them!

But wow… drums, three expressions, different hair, a sitting lower body… she really comes with a lot!

A closer look at her expression!

She is posed with an angelic smile while brushing her hair back behind her ear!! Because of the uge 1/4th scale it really feels like Hayate is right beside you!

The upper-half of her bikini!

I know I shouldn’t say it, but I just have to… that underboob is epic win!!

And my personal favorite area!

The S-line created by her waist and pelvis is fantastic! You can’t see it nicely in the photos, but you can even make out her stomach muscles on the figure! This is the kind of body that girls can only dream of!

Such soft looking, touchable skin!

I can’t help myself, I just have to touch it!!

The trio are finally together!

Putting all three together really creates an amazing scene! It’s really hard to explain just how impressive it is to see all three huge figures together – the photo just doesn’t do it justice. Sometimes it’s nice to have smaller figures to enjoy the small, elaborate designs – but big figures like this definitely have a whole different presence!

Nendoroid Miku Hatsune: Support ver.

Miku will be sent out to everyone soon!

Nendoroid Miku Hatsune: Support ver.!

She was the first product to be sold as a charity product to raise money to support the relief efforts in Eastern Japan – for each figure sold Good Smile Company donated ¥1000 to the Japan Red Cross Society.

The final amount raised by Miku was ¥74,465,000!

I think that number is a good sign as to how much people care about helping out those in need. Thank you to everyone, and know that your money will be helping out someone in the affected areas!

Anyway, let’s move onto the figure review!

This is how the packaging looks!

This version of Miku uses the original Nendoroid Miku Hatsune as a base, but adds on extra expressions parts and other optional parts – a cheering face, a flag and pair of pompons for her to show her support!

Cheering pompons!

The inside of the pompons are fitted with a balljoint so they can be posed at all kinds of different angles! This was actually added in by the production team, and it is a most welcome addition!!

This is how she looks from the back!

This version of Miku uses the arm type of Nendoroid stand – although she can actually stand on her own using her long twin tails – the stand just allows for an many more poses and more stability.

The pompons can be removed easily!

The same bent arm and leg parts included with the original Nendoroid Miku are of course included with this version as well! Plus you can’t have Miku without that lovely singing face!

She also comes with the Hachune set!

That includes the facial expression, a different fringe part and of course her leek to wave around! Just looking at that face makes me smile. ^^

A support flag shaped like a music note!

Colored the same bright orange as the pompons – it’s really a color that just shines with happy energy! Let’s all work together for tomorrow!

Plus the brand new smiling expression!
A face never seen on any Nendoroids before – you can’t help but smile after seeing her so happy!

And inbetween the box and the inner cardboard…

I’m sure most of you know, but Berserker is really huge in the actual series, so it’s great to see the Nendo petite is also bigger than the normal size!

Even though it’s a petite Nendo, he is only just smaller than a normal Nendoroid! xD

He also has a load of joints and is a lot of fun to play around with!

Even in his deformed Nendoroid form you can still see those huge muscles on his back and arms, which really is what Berserker is all about, isn’t it! 😛

He comes with a hand with no sword as well!

There are also joints put into his thumbs which mean he can be posed holding all sorts of things! There were a load of things I wanted to make him hold, but there was one that just had to come first…!

There was also a much older 1/8th scale GSC figure that recreated this scene… it was also an amazing figure…

I’m pretty sure that any Fate fans would want to do things like this! It’s just so much fun!

“Get them, Berserker!”

That pose with Ilya pointing out is ideal in this case!

I never mentioned it yesterday, but as you can see the Fate/stay Night Extension Set really is, as the name suggests, a way of extending the original Nendoroid Petite set!

It is designed to be combined with the Nendoroid Petite: Fate/stay night for the full effect! Rin and Ilya were both in the original set, so don’t expect them to come in the Extension Set!

Archer vs. Lancer! ヾ(ﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ゛

There have to be a ton of fans that would want to recreate the initial scene between these two! The best thing is that because they are Nendoroid Petites you don’t need to worry too much about space either – you can have them battling it out on your desk easily!!

Their expressions are also exchangeable!

At least, at the moment they are – this might change after the actual production phase of the them, so don’t take my word for it yet. Here you can see Lancer and Archer both trying on Hetare Saber’s face! 😛

Nendoroid Petite: Fate/stay Night Extension Set! (Part 1)

The Golden Saw’s are preforming some kind of ritual!

They are summoning new figures to play with!

It is in fact the figures we took a look at on the live broadcast the other day!!
These Gold Saws are all actual product versions that the design team put together to make sure everything was alright. She will be coming to stores on the 28th!

Anyway, let’s move onto the figure review!

Nendoroid Petite:

Fate/stay Night Extension Set!

Last year in June the Nendoroid Petite: Fate/stay night set was released, and this set is to add on to that collection!

Simply put, the things that stand out the most are…

(ﾟ∀ﾟ) Berserker is HUGE!
(ﾟ∀ﾟ) Some much needed male characters!
(ﾟ∀ﾟ) Optional parts are included!
(ﾟ∀ﾟ) Berserker is really HUGE!

That about sums up the set! 😛

I remember a long time ago back in the old office I asked Oda-P to please release some Nendo Petites of Archer and Lancer – I’m so glad my wish finally come true! Although, it wasn’t my request that brought them – it was all of yours! This is definitely a set of Nendos that lots of people have been requesting!

Saber Alter-san!

She may be Nendo Petite size, but the detail on her armor is unbelievable! Even the fine red lines along her armor have carefully been added in!

Her mask is removable with a separate fringe part!

Alter-san’s face is even cuter in Nendo Petite size!! you can also pose her wither wielding Excalibur or just holding it by her side like in the photo above.

Caster-san!

Caster may be less popular than other characters but she still has very devoted fans, so she had to join the lineup! The detailed sculpting on her one piece even features the slit down the middle – it’s absolutely beautiful!

She has a hooded and unhooded version!

When I saw the version of the hood hanging down knew exactly what it was, it’s nice to be able to see her face as well – although I must say I’m also quite a fan of the mysterious look with the hood on – I’m really not sure which version I would display!

Archer!

You can pose him holding Kanshou and Bakuya!!

Of course he also comes with his bow!

Just by replacing the hand parts you can have him wield his bow instead! It’s a really nice rendition of him – the expression is perfect for him!

Lancer! The blue man!

You can’t have Archer with Lancer! 😀 He is posed in a gallant pose wielding his spear, ‘Gáe Bolg’.

Unfortunately he doesn’t come with any optional parts…

Nendoroid Homura Akemi

Who could be in today’s box?!

A few days back I did give a little sneak peak at this figure on twitter, but today will be the full blog review! Today’s figure is already up for pre-orders!!

From Puella Magi Madoka Magica:
Nendoroid Homura Akemi!

A Nendoroid of the mysterious transfer student who warns Madoka not to become a Puella Magi!

Homu-homu!! (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)=3
She is the second Nendoroid to join us from the Madoka Magica world!

This is how she looks from the back!

Homuhomu has very characteristic long black hair that is split down the middle – and as you can see it’s been put into Nendoroid form perfectly! She is dressed in her Puella Magi outfit which has been carefully sculpted to include all the ribbons and patterns from the original designs – and everything down to the finest detail is there!

The famous SHAFT pose!

Yay! Even Nendoroids can do the SHAFT pose now! Normally when you pose Nendos with the neck this far up you end up seeing the joint so it looks a bit strange, but it works great with Homura!

As you can see, the shield on her arm is removable!

Alright, lets move onto the optional parts!

First up her her upset face!

It really brings out a feeling of just how serious she is about what she is doing. It’s the perfect expression for recreating the famous battle scenes from the series!

And in her hand is the big bazooka!
Combined with the hands that her hold it, you can recreate the scene where she shoots the bazooka! Yay!

But Homura has to have her pistol as well!

Black Gold Saw -animation version-

Tsukki is still away on his trip to China!

The Bramble is valiantly defending his desk, just like when Gakkun was away in China!! Although I do wonder how he managed to move between desks…

He seems a bit busy at the moment though…
So I can grab this sample away from the desk!! 😀

And so today I’ll be taking a look at…

Black Gold Saw -animation version- !

She is of course one of the girls from the anime of Black Rock Shooter – she can be seen watching one of Black Rock Shooter’s battles in the movie. She is also the 3rd figure to join the 1/8th scale Black Rock Shooter -animation version- set of figures!

This is how she looks from the back!

Her outfit has a very similar design to BRS-chan – it even has that same famous star mark. At the moment we don’t really know exactly what their connection is, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough!

Isn’t she a beauty!

She has a more mature feeling when compared to the previously released BRS-chan and DM-chan figures. That upward glance is also wonderful – I makes my heart skip a beat every time I see those eyes!

A long angle between her hips and breast!

She definitely has much more of a bust when compared to BRS-chan. ^^;

But just as stunning as her bust is her stomach line!!!
There is so much skin visible as well! You can even see her pelvis bone!! It’s just so tempting!!

Incredible thighs! (Front)

They are so soft and slender, yet still have a nice padded feeling to them! I also love the way you can just see her socks sticking out the top of her boots here!

Looking from the top like this you really get a feeling for how baggy her pants are – anyone who says this isn’t sexy needs to get their priorities straight! xD

Just like previous figures from the series, the stand features a diorama from the BRS world!

Golden Saw-san’s stand is covered in crumbling blocks and signs of a big battle taking place – which really suits the dynamic pose of the figure. The chains can all be attached easily by reading through the included instructions.

Beautiful, long flowing hair!

As if the pose itself didn’t give enough of a dynamic feeling, her hair adds even more of an impressive effect – it really feels like she’ll jump to life at any second. That view of her back is also incredibly sexy!

Her giant sword, ‘King Saw’!

A unique sword that is filled with sharp edges like a saw – it’s really huge and looks like it could cut through anything!! It is also covered in a number of scratches and dents – clearly a sign of all the battles Black Gold Saw has been in during the past!
