Nendoroid Juzumaru Tsunetsugu (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

The changes in temperature between the last few days here in Japan has been huge! We’re getting to that season where it is hard to wake up and get out of your nice warm bed in the morning!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a product currently up for preorder…
Nendoroid Juzumaru Tsunetsugu!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a Nendoroid of Juzumaru Tsunetsugu, one of the Five Great Swords! He comes with three face plates including a standard face, a combat face as well as a smiling expression based on the anniversary illustration from the game.

His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn and he comes a string of prayer beads and other parts allowing you to display him in various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection!

The second of the Five Great Swords to join the Nendoroid series, Juzumaru Tsunetsugu!

⇒ PRODUCT DETAILS

The amount of detail that has been put into the gradient and sculpt of each of the beads as well as their glossy appearance is simply outstanding! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

All of the Touken Ranbu Nendoroids have been very carefully sculpted to capture as much detail as possible in chibi size, but Juzumaru is possibly on a completely different level in terms of detail!

▲ The gradient of his hair is also beautiful!

The flow of hair has also been captured very nicely with the sculpt, and if we look behind the hair you can see the details of his outfit from the back, which is not something you normally get much opportunity to see on Juzumaru!

The creases on his outfit around the bends of his body have also been captured very nicely! The more you look the more little details you see!! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

▲You can see a little gap of bare skin between his cuffs and gloves!

Anyway, let’s move on and take a look at his different face plates! The first we have is the standard expression that I’ve included from the start, but he also comes with two different alternate options! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

His second face plate is a combat expression!

This confident pose together with a powerful looking expression! You can just see his eyebrows peeking through his long hair which show he is putting much more force into this expression!

His sword is included both sheathed and drawn allowing for various different display options! – from scenes from the game to all original scenes! ♪

Plus as you may have noticed, he comes with two different strings of prayer beads! Simply select the one that better suits your pose! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Moving on to his third face plate…

A pure and gentle smiling face!

This expression is based on an illustration that was drawn for the game’s release celebrations! He even comes complete with the flower that was in the original illustration!

Even though his eyes are always closed, the different in the position of the eyes, the mouth and the eyebrows make for such a different impression!

In addition, just like all the previously released Touken Ranbu Nendoroids, he comes with a special round base… but as his hair is so big he also comes with a special extension part that can support him completely! (∩・∀・)∩

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/7th Scale…
Super Sonico: HOT LIMIT Ver.! ♥

The first HOT LIMIT Anniversary Collaboration Figures to celebrate the 20th anniversary of T.M.Revolution’s debut is Super Sonico, who has just celebrated her 10th anniversary! The figure is based on an illustration by Tsuji Santa (Nitroplus) that was included in Takanori Nishikawa’s book distributed at Comic Market.

The figure has been sculpted in a dynamic pose as if in a scene from one of T.M.Revolution’s promotional videos, and the contrast between the texture of the outfit and her soft-looking skin has been captured with intricate detail! Be sure to add the sexy Super Sonico to your collection!

T.M.Revolution x Super Sonico: The first in a series of HOT LIMIT figures!

A new set of figures to celebrate 20 years since T.M.Revolution’s debut!! The first of which is Super Sonico wearing the famous outfit worn by T.M.Revolution in their “HOT LIMIT” song!! Just like the song’s lyrics say, she is showing off whatever she can!!! Just take a look from a couple of different angles!

The contrast between her innocent smile and the sexy outfit is lovely!!

If you’ve never heard the “HOT LIMIT” song before, I suggest you listen along while reading this review to get in the mood! (っ’ω’)っ

The outfit is based on the outfit that T.M.Revolution’s Takanori Nishikawa wore in the music video above, but it has been slightly tuned to make for a more sexy look on Sonico’s body! This is how she looks from the back! ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ

▲ Her feet and back were never visible in the original illustration!

If you take a look from the side you can get the best feel for the impressive size of her bust that refuses to give in to gravity as well as the way the outfit squeezes down on her soft skin! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

▲ You can just picture the body on the other side of the outfit!

The outfit has also been sculpted with careful attention to the creases and stretched areas which gives a good feel as to how tight the outfit is!

She looks amazing from all sorts of different angles! (/ω・＼)

In addition, she also comes with a little helicopter, also based on the music video that I linked above! ★

If you look close you can see Pochaco is looking out!!

This is all of course included to faithfully capture the original illustration by Tsuji Santa (Nitroplus)! A post card of this illustration is also included with the product as a bonus!

A lot of the photos on today’s blog don’t include the helicopter, but it is included to display with or without Sonico!

On first glance I think most people tend to look straight at Sonico’s boobies, but I personally want to bring more attention to the area around her bottom! Look at those delicious hips and thighs!!＜●＞＜●＞

Another thing I want to touch on is the contrast between the glossy paintwork of the black outfit and the warm soft looking paintwork of her skin!! It captures the textures so effectively making for such a treat to the eyes! ♥

Nendoroid Sucy Manbavaran (Little Witch Academia)

My favorite type of mushroom is the royal trumpet mushroom! I do like most types, although I once at some shimeji mushrooms raw which did put me off them a little bit…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Sucy Manbavaran!

From the anime series “Little Witch Academia” comes a Nendoroid of the unidentified witch and Akko’s roommate, Sucy Manbavaran! She comes with three face plates including her standard languid expression, a scheming expression as well as an entranced expression for when she has a few too many shrooms.

Optional parts include her wand, two mushrooms as well as a flask and sprout parts for her to play some pranks on Akko! In addition, she also comes with the “The Sucy that Wants to Spit on the World” a bonus extra part! Be sure to display her together with the previously released Nendoroid Akko Kagari for all sorts of fun displays!

“I kind of had a hunch before, but Akko’s really is an idiot.”

The sarcastic witch with a rather sharp tongue, Sucy Manbavaran is joining the Nendoroid series! Her cute appearance wearing the Luna Nova Magical Academy has been faithfully captured in Nendoroid size! ☆

The long skirt creating little waves at her feet suit her so perfectly! The long skirt also allows her to stand without the need for a stand!! (・∀・)

Sucy is the second character from Little Witch Academia to join the Nendoroid series, following on from the previously released Nendoroid Akko! ♪

Isn’t it just adorable?!

Those who have seen the series will remember this Sucy from episode 8 of the series, titled “Akko’s Adventure in Sucyworld”. She also looks just as cute from the back!

Tamamo no Mae: School Uniform Ver. (Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star)

Tamamo no Mae: School Uniform Ver.!

From the high-speed action game “Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star” comes a 1/6th scale figure of Tamamo no Mae wearing a school uniform, based on an illustration that was included as a store purchase bonus!

The figure is posed kneeling on a cushion with her shirt buttons undone to reveal her impressive cleavage, with her cute twin-tailed hair sculpted and painted with great care to capture the original illustration as faithfully as possible! Be sure to add the cute bowing Tamamo to your collection!

The foxy good wife wearing a revealing school uniform!

The original illustration that the figure was based on was originally a bonus included with purchases of Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star from certain stores, but now it has been converted into an amazing figure by Phat! for fans to enjoy!

The bold pose tends to have her cleavage catch your eyes, but she also looks amazing from the back with her lovely bushy tail faithfully included! ★

▲ Don’t you just wish you could run up and hug that bug bushy tail?! (・∀・)

Even though she is in a sitting pose, the figure has some impressive volume thanks to her hair and tail! The attention to detail is also fantastic! Here is a size comparison with an iPhone 6!

I asked the figure’s planner Takamatsu (@Phat_stuff) what his recommended highlights are on the figure, so let’s take a closer look! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

◆ Outfit ◆

Takamatsu: The first ever school uniform look for Tamamo no Mae! The fact that the “good wife” is dressed up in a school uniform also has a strange kind of imbalance that makes her all the more appealing!

I for one find it most appealing!! The cardigan tied around her hips, the pleat skirt you can see underneath it and the high socks all brought together by those beautiful thighs!! Looking at the figure from a slightly lower angle really provides all sorts of treats for the eyes! (っ’ω’)っ

◆ Bust ◆

Takamatsu: Tamamo no Mae has always had a very impressive bust, but this particular illustration has really emphasized the size which has in turn been represented on the figure as faithfully as possible!

Her shirt has been opened up to reveal her cleavage very nicely, plus they look so very soft and squishy due to the way they have been sculpted with gravity pulling down on them! The little hearts on the loose ribbon is also a lovely touch! ♥

◆ Hair ◆

Takamatsu: The tips of the hair make use of translucent parts together with a gradient paint effect to create a beautiful look!

The two bunches of hair that make up her twin-tails have been sculpted with very nice volume while also keeping amazing detail that makes her hair flow beautifully with a very smooth and silky look! The transparent ends also look lovely!! ♪

◆ Tail ◆

Takamatsu: Underneath the skirt, the tail is properly attached to her!

What you mean to say is… it’s attached to her, and not her clothes?

Takamatsu: That’s right! But you’ll have to take a closer look for yourself once she joins your collection!

Nendoroid Sakura (Fire Emblem Fates)

It always feels like Monday to be after a long weekend to me! I’m not in Tuesday gear yet!! Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Sakura!

From the popular game “Fire Emblem Fates” comes a Nendoroid of the shy and reserved Princess of Hoshido, Sakura! She comes with three face plates including a standard smiling face, a gallant shouting face as well as a cute embarrassed face to show her shy side.

Optional parts include her staff together with healing effect parts as well as a rod of dumplings, one of her favorite sweet foods! Be sure to display Nendoroid Sakura with the previously released Nendoroid Elise and enjoy the two friends together!

The shy and reserved Princess of Hoshido is joining the Nendoroids!

From the 14th game in the Fire Emblem series, “Fire Emblem Fates” comes a Nendoroid of the shy, youngest of the Hoshidan royal siblings – Sakura! ✿

Her iconic miko priestess-style outfit and staff have all been faithfully converted into chibi Nendoroid size!

▲ Even the Japanese-style shoes have been captured! ♪

From the back we can see the pointy parts of her hairstyle and her Alice band are also included on the Nendoroid, as well as the lovely big ribbon tied at the back!

The left and right sides of her white cape are fitted with joints allowing them to move around for different nuances while posing! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

It can also be completely removed!

▲ The Nendoroid allows for all sorts of different possibilities!

She comes with a total of three face plates including the gentle smile above! The second one is a shouting expression more suited to combat scenes!

Special healing effect parts are included with the Nendoroid and can be attached to the staff to show her supporting her teammates! ε=(｡・д・｡)

▲ The effect parts have a semi-transparent look covered with stars! Cute!

Moving on to her third face plate…

A cute embarrassed expression!

The slightly blushed cheeks with a gentle smile as she looks our way… this is the reason she is the #1 healer in the army!

Plus in her hands she holds a rod of multicolored dumplings! ♥

Sakura is known to be a character that loves sweet foods, and this item actually appeared in the game as a joke weapon, so this was a lovely item to include with the Nendoroid!

She looks great displayed alone, but also consider displaying her with the previously released Nendoroid Elise!

The pose above has Sakura’s hands together for Elise to grab on to, but Sakura alone this this pose is also very cute! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ ｸﾞｯ

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a much darker item than usual! You may want to close the page if you’re not a fan of the more horror style of figures!

I’ll be taking a look at an item from threezero currently up for preorder!
1/6 Big Daddy & Little Sister!

1/6 Big Daddy collectible figure stands approximately 12.5” (~31.5cm) tall and 1/6 Little Sister is 5.6 inches (~14.3cm). Both collectible figures are articulated and highly detailed, featuring realistic likeness of the characters in BIOSHOCK video game. Big Daddy has over 35 Points of Articulation; Detachable Right Drill; Arms and Legs are covered with Fabric Material; Exchangeable Hands and it comes with Light-up Feature, which consists of 8 Head Light with Interchangeable Yellow, Red and Green Lights. They are both approximately 1/6th scale in size, making the Big Daddy stand around 31.5cm in height and the Little Sister around 14.3cm!

The used, dirty look of the Little Sister’s outfit is amazing! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Included with the Little Sister is her ADAM harvesting syringe, which can be held in her hand to recreate the well-known scene from the game!

The Big Daddy also features amazing paintwork, but the lower layer of clothing is made from real fabric which also means that you can easily move the 35 points of articulation around without anything getting in the way!

The rusted look of the diving suit gear gives you a good feel for its age and really captures the coarse texture nicely! ♪

The Big Daddy also comes with an open left hand part so you can pose him holding hands with the Little Sister!

It’s starting to get a little chilly in the evenings now! Time to start thinking about clothes for winter! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Tōru Amuro!

From the popular anime series “Detective Conan” comes a Nendoroid of mysterious Toru Amuro! He comes with three face plates including a fearless smile as his standard expression, a more serious expression for when he is faced with hostility as well as a much more cheerful smiling expression. He comes with an alternate upper body part for a more casual look as well as a plate with sandwiches and an apron part! Enjoy various sides of Amuro’s personality in Nendoroid size!

The Blu-ray and DVD of  Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter releases today, and this Nendoroid from the anime series of the mysterious Tooru Amuro will be up for preorder from tomorrow!

His dark skin and light hair, confident smile and various other details have all been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size!

His first and standard face plate is the one used in all the photos above, which has a bit of a mysterious look that makes it hard to tell what he is thinking! He also comes with two other alternate face plates!

The second is this serious face!

He suddenly looks a lot more stressed out compared to the expression above! The open mouth and sharp eyes make him look ready for whatever might come his way! (´□｀｡)

He also comes with interchangeable hand parts which can be used to pose him using his boxing-style moves for combat scenes! The serious expression works great for more hostile poses!

Hatsune Miku: Harvest Moon Ver. (Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku)

I only found out there were various different types of mooncakes after I started working at GSC. I always thought they were a delicious sweet treat, completely unaware that there are others that have a much more savory approach! I’ll stick to the sweet kinds though!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale…
Hatsune Miku: Harvest Moon Ver.!

From the “Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Hatsune Miku wearing dressed up in outfit based on those seen at the Mid-Autumn Festival in China.

The translucent feeling from the original illustration by Chinese illustrator Rella has been captured as faithfully as possible, with a beautiful sculpt that captures her elegance. The paintwork is also a highlight of the figure, with the gentle colors of the design blending with the translucent parts to create an stunning appearance. Enjoy a moonlit light with the gentle smile of Harvest Moon Miku by your side!

“Won’t you admire the moon with me?”

This beautiful figure was on display at the recent CICF Expo event held in China, and now she is ready for preorders to open! The stunning version of Hatsune Miku based on an illustration by Rella has been transformed into a figure that captures the translucent, flowing feel of the illustration as faithfully as possible in figure form!!

The poster you can see above is based on the exact angle of the original illustration to show just how similar it is! I just had to show it off on the blog!! (∩・∀・)

But let’s move in with a closer look with the normal selection of photos!

While the figure is in a rather simple standing pose, there are still so many different things to see! First and foremost are they lovely twirls of her hair!!

If we take a look from the top you can get a good feel for the circular twirls that her hair makes as it dances downward!

The best thing about the twirls is that they are so gentle which match with the overall feel of the figure, while still providing a dynamic feeling to the figure!

The original illustration obviously was only ever in two dimensions, which made transforming this into three dimensions was not a simple task, but the artisans over in the production team have brought out a sculpt that looks beautiful no matter what angle you choose to look from! You really need to see the sculpt in person to really appreciate it!

Also note the details on the very top!

Can you see the little sprinkles of gold on her hair?

This silver dist is included to recreate the light of the moon as it shone on the top of her head on the original illustration! The ever so slight gold effect is to incorporate this golden light on the design of the figure as well!

The long ribbon-like part of her outfit is made from transparent parts to capture the original look, but also have the golden dust for that shiny reflection! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

All this and all I’ve really spoken about is her hair! There is still so much to enjoy about this figure! Just look at all the different layers of her outfit which have each been intricately detailed! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The frills at the very bottom of the dress are also individually sculpted in lovely detail!  ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

The pearl paintwork together with the sculpt that makes it look like it really is a soft fabric… it has such a mysterious yet eye-catching appearance!

Even though the figure isn’t painted with very flashy paintwork, there is something about it that just makes her so very charming! She just draws you in!! I don’t know how else to explain it!

Depending on the angle you choose to look from, the expression can change between being rather cheerful looking to having a much more wistful look!

Be sure to add her to your collection and find the angle that you like best!

We’re already into October! There are lots of big products coming up this month, so I hope everyone is looking forward to them!

Learning with Manga! Fate/Grand Order Collectible Figures Episode 2

The cute yet peculiar characters from the manga series on the Fate/Grand Order official site, “Learning with Manga! Fate/Grand Order” have been transformed into a second selection of collectible figures!
This time around the line-up includes an all-new set of six different characters including the Male Main Character/Gudao, Rider/Astolfo, Olgamally Animusphere, Saber/Attila, Berserker/Kiyohime and Avenger/Jeanne d’Arc (Alter). The figures may be small, but they have a mysterious charm to them that will spice up any display! Be sure to add them to your collection!

A second set of the bizarre characters of Fate/Grand Order’s “Learning with Manga”!

The adorable characters illustrated by Riyo for the “Learning with Manga” Fate/Grand Order series have been transformed into adorable collectible figures once again!
