“Only one has arrived so far!”

Today’s review is of this figure – the one and only sample of it that has arrived!

It’s Max Factory’s:

1/7th Scale Yui Hirasawa!

The lovable guitarist from Sakura High’s light music club in the popular anime ‘K-ON!’. She is wearing the Santa outfit that she wore in episode 7 of the first season, ‘Christmas!’.

As with all the previous 1/7th scale K-ON figures from Max Factory, the quality is absolutely wonderful! It’s definitely a figure that Yui fans will buy with no regrets whatsoever! Just look at those lovely long legs and bare feet…

The Santa hat can be removed!

This quality really looks just as good as the master figure did… it’s incredible… just look at that adorable smile! It suits Yui so well! What a wonderful world we live in that you can keep such a wonderful smile by your side whenever you like!

That may be so, but…!


The whole Santa outfit can be removed!

To reveal her swimsuit!!

The outfit is made of soft plastic that comes off very easily, and the balance of the figure is kept wonderfully both with and without the Santa outfit! It’s really incredible! Batayan was the head of production for this one – and got the fitting of the Santa outfit down perfectly!

A school swimsuit in all its glory! It becomes the perfect figure for the Summer!

The swimsuit has that nice…

…tight ‘just-fit’ feeling to it!

You can even make out her belly button!

The detail on the swimsuit really is incredible – from the glossy shine down to the creases in the material – it’s all there! It really looks just like a real swimsuit – the sculptor’s are just too good at their work!

What? It’s not a trophy?!

It certainly has just as much worth as any trophy, but this is in fact a new figure!
And it’s absolutely huge!! ((((ﾟДﾟ)))

The blog has had a little break, but now we’re back again! And to start the blog back up we have this wonderful figure to take a look at:

The 3rd in Gift’s 1/4th Scale Nanoha Swimsuit Series:

Hayate Yagami: Swimsuit Ver.!

She is from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, and is posed in a lovely bikini which is based off the front jacket cover illustration of a CD!

She’s too tall to fit behind the monitor’s background!

It really puts the tension up!!

A closer look at her expression!

She is posed with an angelic smile while brushing her hair back behind her ear!! Because of the uge 1/4th scale it really feels like Hayate is right beside you!

The upper-half of her bikini!

I know I shouldn’t say it, but I just have to… that underboob is epic win!!

And my personal favorite area!

The S-line created by her waist and pelvis is fantastic! You can’t see it nicely in the photos, but you can even make out her stomach muscles on the figure! This is the kind of body that girls can only dream of!

Such soft  looking, touchable skin!

I can’t help myself, I just have to touch it!!

Calm down right hand! Calm down!!

I wonder if there are any men with such perfect skin… one can dream I suppose.
If I ever found one, I’d take him to a bar and be sure to keep chatting until I managed to get along with him! ^^;

Nanoha, Hayate and Fate-chan!

The trio are finally together!

Putting all three together really creates an amazing scene! It’s really hard to explain just how impressive it is to see all three huge figures together – the photo just doesn’t do it justice. Sometimes it’s nice to have smaller figures to enjoy the small, elaborate designs – but big figures like this definitely have a whole different presence!

Tasshi! What are you doing!?

You’re looking way too close! Stop staring at the poor girl!

Tasshi here was in charge of coloring for today’s figure!
He is just admiring his fine work! (I hope! :P)

The 5th figure in the 1/8th scale Bakemonogatari series:

Mayoi Hachikuji!

She is yet another heroine from the popular anime Bakemonogatari, following on from Hitagi Senjougahara, Nadeko Sengoku, Suruga Kanbaru and Tsubasa Hanekawa is ‘ the girl who was puzzled by the snail’ – Mayoi Hachikuji!

A perfect 3D rendition of the illustration!

It’s unbelievable… the more you look at it the more it just looks as if the illustration has just jumped out into the 3D world!

As before, she is also based on the BD/DVD package!
To be more specific, the original illustration was the front cover of the second volume of the anime – “Mayoi Snail”.

Of course you can’t have Mayoi without her giant bird backpack. The little bear in side pocket can be taken out and replaced with something else!

A look from the other side!

Even the name sticker has been written out in the exact same font! You can also see the giant paw sticking out the bag, as well as the little rabbit patch on the side!

Such an adorable childish cuteness mixed with a wonderful adult charm!
Look around the ribbon at her slightly open shirt!

Plus wonderful thighs!

I was just thinking during the Azunyan figure the other day that these half-way up socks might becoming more and more popular – Mayoi also has them!

Those calves just make you want to reach out and touch them!  ｡･ﾟ･(ﾉД`)･ﾟ･｡

You can even make out her figure nicely over her clothes!!

Her right shoe can be removed!

The package featured her shoe half falling off, which is great – but you also have the choice to remove it completely for a slightly different feeling!

We normally always only get a look of figures from the front – that’s generally how they’re displayed… but sometimes it’s interesting to take a look at them from the top!
The ribbon and loose show stand out so much more!
(I’m sure at least some people will agree with me :P)

The map can be placed wherever!

As you can see it’s painted as a real map – the details are amazing, both on the map and Mayoi’s beautiful curves!
By the way!

Some of you might be thinking something like that! So was I in fact… but…

Her backpack is the stand!

Although because of that…
The price will be lower than the other figures in the series!

It’ll make it a little cheaper for everyone trying to grab the entire figure series!

The backpack can be removed as so!

Which also lets us see her back!

Her petite little back has been sculpted just as carefully as the front! There is a little bumpy bit where the backpack connects, but there wasn’t anything that could do about that – I shouldn’t bother anyone too much!

He goes to all the Azunyan live events and pilgrimages, and he even went so far as to steal the master figure for today’s review and keep it as his own!

Max Factory’s…
1/7th Scale Azusa Nakano!

From the popular anime with a movie on it’s way ‘K-ON!’, Azusa is the Sakura High Music Club’s rhythm guitarist!  She also marks the last of the girls in Max Factory’s 1/7th scale series – we’ve got all five of them now!

This is how she looks from the back!

This Azunyan features a relaxed, stretched out pose as she lies down on a cushion! The size of the photos make her look a little small but that’s just because of the limits the the size of the pictures – she really is a beautiful 1/7th scale figure!

Before I continue this review, I have a request of everyone reading.
Imagine she is with you in your own room while reading through!
It’ll increase the moe levels by at least three times, I promise!

A relaxed and gentle expression!

An expression that she’ll show to you whenever you like! Personally I normally prefer girls to have an upward glance (thats why most pictures of me are taken from above :P), but this version of Azunyan is perfect with a gentle straightforward gaze like this one!

Defenseless, beautiful legs!

She is wearing socks quite high up but they’re not knee-socks nor tights – just a special length that reveal her calves for you… and if you touch them you can just imagine her embarressed face as she tries to get you to stop!!

Azunyan #2!

The kitty cat Azunyan #2 is also included with the figure! She is lazing around just like Azunyan as she plays with a little toy… just by looking at her it makes me forget all the bad things and enjoy the cuteness in front of me…

Oh, as a side note, the stand being used here is not the final stand for the figure – it is a temporary version. The final version will also have a furry warm feeling to it as well though!

This is the scene you’ll have when you’re lying by her side! Being relaxing and lazy really is wonderful isn’t it… it’s times like that are so worth the hard times!

And my personal favorite shot!

We’ve just finished dinner, and watching a little bit of TV and I want to talk about everything that’s happened today… but she is too absorbed and relaxed… I can’t bother her!

You can also remove the cushion!

Of course the area where the cushion should be is still sculpted as detailed as everywhere else! You can catch just a small glimpse of her neck and collar bone – they look so cute!

A close up on her feet!

Although it looks fine just looking at her feet like this, if you do actually decide to pose her this way her hair doesn’t look right at all, so it’s not a perfect option…

The sculpting was done by the same person responsible for the previous four girls – Nakayaman! They look amazing when all displayed together!

Once again we return to Tsukki’s desk!

But Tsukki is coming back to Japan soon! I wonder whether or not his robot collection will manage to keep it safe until then!

Max Factory’s…

1/7th Scale Tsumugi Kotobuki!

She is one of the main characters in the popular anime series ‘K-ON!’ – the keyboardist in the Sakura High music club. The outfit she is wearing is one of the many outfits that Sawako-sensei made for Tsumigi to wear – this one a cute waitress uniform!

Her frilly skirt really brings out her cute side!! It’s quite the flawless figure no matter what angle you look at it from – nice work Max Factory!!

A warm smile!

That expression really captures Mugi’s care-free fun personality so perfectly! The eyes have a slight gloss applied to them so if you look at her from a certain angle you get a cute little glint!

But there is a lot more to this figure than just her adorable face!

The desserts in her right hand!

The quality is unbelievable! They really look good enough to eat! Max Factory really puts their everything into each part of the figure – even the small little parts like these!

And the food in her left hand!

The word written in ketchup reads ‘K-ON!’ – plus that delicious looking meat and veggies… they really look just like the real thing only absolutely tiny!

By the way, there may be some of you who are pondering something like this…

It was a short cut from the first season!

But in this scene she was only holding a single parfait!

Max Factory actually decided while sculpting it to add in some unique touches to the design! Personally I think they’ve really shown their love for Mugi-chan, as the results are incredible!

That’s some incredible skill, Mugi-chan!

She is holding the omelet rice with just one finger there!  ((((ﾟДﾟ)))ｶﾞｸｶﾞｸﾌﾞﾙ

The skirt and knee socks are yet another point of the figure that are really incredibly detailed when you look up close! Plus it’s 1/7th scale, so it’s got some nice volume as well.

This is the size of them next to a Nendoroid Petite! A cute girl, desserts and some delicious food – what more could you ask for?

You can even let Nendoroid’s hold them!

Doesn’t it just look like she’s saying ‘please eat it?’? It’s so cute!

You can even remove the parfait separately!

Plus you can remove the contents and perhaps put something else in it’s place… the quality doesn’t limit the playability!
