The Songstress of the Racing Circuit: Racing Miku 2013 ver.

I was never able to complete my driving lessons successfully, and ended up quitting half way though… I just couldn’t seem to get it right. (´；ω；｀)

But that aside, today we’re going to be taking a look at:

Racing Miku: 2013 ver.!

GSR&Studie with TeamUKYO took part in the GT300 class races of one Japan’s most well known motor races, the SUPER GT 2013, and they finished the season in third place! The main mascot character for the team is of course Racing Miku, who has been sculpted in a 1/8th scale for fans of both Miku and the racing team to enjoy.

Racing Miku 2013 was illustrated by saitom with costume design by Mari Shimazaki – both of their unique touches have been preserved on the figure to bring a high quality design and sculpt that fans will be proud to own!

From the top of the cute crown on her head…


Down her slender arms, to the detailed nails on the tips of her fingers…


Not to mention her long, soft looking legs! ♪

She is such a treat for the eyes!!! ＜●＞＜●＞

Racing Miku’s 2013 Ver. was illustrated by saitom with a costume design by Mari Shimazaki, and this figure version has pulled out all the stops to ensure that the same charms from that illustration have all been preserved on the sculpt!

Racing Miku 2012 ver. had a more innocent and childish look which I definitely found very adorable… but the beautiful 2013 ver. has a much sexier look that is also to die for…! ε=(｡・д・｡) *nomnom*ﾞ

Her expression this time around has a very determined, confident feeling, mixed in with the cute Miku! This is how she looks from the back!♪

The gradient on her collar and heels has come out beautifully! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

The tips of her long twin tails also slowly fade to a clear PVC, which looks fantastic! The same clear effect can be seen on the area around her skirt!

All the movement that comes from her body being twisted has been faithfully preserved, giving the figure a rather dynamic feeling as well! Whilst playing around I decided that this was my best angle…

From this angle you can enjoy her armpits, hips, belly button and thighs all at the same time! (｀・ω・´)

The creases in her outfit around her hips and the line down to her thighs are both magnificent! Not to mention that cute little belly button you can make out from under her clothes! Her thighs look so realistic that I honestly thought they’d be soft when I touched them…

(・∀・) “People who have seen the left armpit will naturally want a good look at the right one too!”

A personal look into human psychology by GSC’s biggest Miku fan, Hamako!

(・∀・) “Just like the last Racing Miku, this one is packed with highlights! Take another photo from a low angle for everyone!”

Those smooth armpits and her belly button… Why is it that we get so exited seeing these areas we don’t normally get to see?!

(・∀・) “It is rather strange, isn’t it?”

What is your best part about the figure, Hamako?

(・∀・) “Personally I love the flow of her hair and the detail on her fingertips! From a straight on angle you can enjoy everything including the belly and armpits that you love so much!”


(・∀・) “But she is one of those figures that you really can enjoy from absolutely any angle, and I’d highly recommend doing so if you choose to pick her up! ♡”

1/8th Scale Akane Isshiki: Shipping out on the 16th December!

Bread in the morning has to be a sweet, else it doesn’t suit breakfast!
Today I’m going to be taking a look at this figure from Vivid Red Operation:

Akane Isshiki! ☆


A 1/8th scale figure of Akane riding on her hoverbike ‘Wanko’!

She’s in a lovely dynamic pose that really brings out her energetic personality, and she’s finally ready to be shipped out to everyone! The ever so important line from her thighs to her bottom has come out looking great…! (*´Д`）


The part of her shirt that is being blown up in the wind showing a little bit of her back really catches my eye! that little bit of skin you can see through the flap looks so smooth and soft…

But her thighs also look super soft and touchable…! （*´▽｀*）


The two ribbons in her hair as well as the larger one of her front are all fluttering in the wind! ☆


You can just hear Akane’s cute voice saying ‘Vroom, vroom’ while looking at this adorable expression and pose! (o・ω・o)

Akane herself is lovely and detailed, but the intricate detail on Wanko is also something to note!


The logo on the front of the basket has been faithfully included on the design, and Akane’s mayonnaise strap is also tried onto the back of the bike to show everyone just how much she loves Mayo! ♥


The newspapers in the front basket can be removed whenever you like!


This allows you to have Akane out delivering papers, or instead just out for a fun ride on Wanko!


Now for a little warning about the product! Akane herself and Wanko are separated in the packaging for this figure – you need to connect the two together yourself! (｀・ω・´；)

However don’t worry – it’s a simple task!

Simply follow the included instructions and you’ll have Akane riding her hoverbike in no time!

Seen I have a sample right here, let me give a little photo explanation too!

1: Remove Wanko’s Handles


Slowly twist the hoverbike’s handles until they become loose and gently pull them out.

2: Place the removed handles in Akane’s hands.


Note that I’m using a special photography technique (also known as double-sided tape) to hold Akane up here for a better look – she doesn’t actually balance by herself like this. ^^;

3: Place the metal bar into the sky-patterned base like so.


4: Connect the handlebars with Akane back onto Wanko, and then insert the metal bar into the special hole on the bottom of Wanko… and you’re done!


The footrests at the bottom of Wanko support Akane nicely!


To give everyone an idea of Wanko’s size, I decided to display it with a Nendoroid and Nendoroid Petite!


Nendoroid Mikudayo fits quite nicely into the basket! Recreate your favorite E.T. scenes with Mikudayo and Wanko!!

By the way, Nendoroid Akane Isshiki is also scheduled to ship out this month!
As soon as I get more definite information I’ll be sure to share with everyone!

Yozora Mikaduki and Sena Kashiwazaki: Cat Costume Ver.

I’ve always been quite intrigued by the soft underside of cat’s paws… but unfortunately I’ve never been good enough friends with a kitty to let me touch them! I really hope to get the chance to feel one some day…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at these two scale figures:


Yozora Mikaduki: Cat Costume Ver. and
Sena Kashiwazaki: Cat Costume Ver.

Ahh… what a beautiful sight!! （*´▽｀*）

These two figures from Max Factory are each sold separately, but displaying them together doubles the charm! Let me start by taking a look at each of them alone! (｀・ω・´)

First up we have…
Yozora Mikaduki: Cat Costume Ver.


From the comedy series ‘Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT’ comes a figure of the main heroine, Yozora Mikaduki! She is wearing a dark red leotard with kitty ears and a tail, in a lovely 1/7th scale for fans to enjoy!
She is sculpted in a cute cat pose with a slightly embarrassed expression on her face – a different feeling to the moody expressions she normally shows. Be sure to display her with Sena Kashiwazaki who will be on sale at the same time, as well as with the previously released Maria Takayama and Kobato Hasegawa!

The slightly worried expression on Yozora’s face is priceless, and her slender body is perfect for the cat costume!


The texture of the tights and costume look amazingly tight and realistic! ♥


Plus just look at her back…! The dent made from her spine makes me want to run my finger down it over and over again!!


I’m also a big fan of her thighs… in most anime and manga the thighs are made very thin, but Yozora’s have a bit more body to them, making them much more touchable! Plus that line made by her breasts is hard to ignore…!!

Next up we have:
Sena Kashiwazaki: Cat Costume Ver.!

Her impressive body and unique style have been faithfully preserved, and she is posed looking ahead with a confident smile on her face as she plays around with her tail. Be sure to display her with Yozora Mikaduki who will be on sale at the same time, as well as with the previously released Maria Takayama and Kobato Hasegawa!

The little glimpse of her moe fang is adorable! (*´Д`)
Not to mention that amazing ‘meat’!

They’re pretty much falling out from her outfit…!

Sena’s thighs are also definitely worth mentioning!

If you look carefully down her thigh you’ll even see a slight muscle outline toward her knees! Smooth, round and a hint of realism making for a lovely view!! ♥

Plus if you look carefully enough at her stomach, you can easily picture exactly where her belly button is under that costume!

They definitely do look best when displayed with one another!

The lower bodies show off the elastic-looking outfits… and the details on Sena’s hand as she holds onto the tail is amazing!

You can even choose to have them facing each other instead! ♪

The stand does become a little bit narrow when they’re both on it together, but I still definitely recommend it! Although there are so many treats for the eyes that it can be quite hard to choose where to look! (；´∀｀)

Oh yes, I heard the rumours!

Figures that are not only amazingly detailed on the sculpt… but also had careful consideration put into the painting! Definitely worth posing the two of them together! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure that will be arriving at wholesale stores across Japan on the 18th November…

Arthur!


She’s adorable!! ♡♡

Arthur is one of the heroes from ‘Eiyuu*Senki’, known for her cute appearance and charismatic aura that make her an amazing idol! They also make for a wonderful figure that will be in stores soon! (｀・ω・´)


Her heart-shaped pupils look lovely! ♥

Plus just look at these amazing legs peeking out from her frilly skirt!


The photo certainly might be close… but you can’t see them!!
She is wearing some though!!

The line that joins her socks to her skin makes her skin look so amazingly soft and squishy!! Delicious! The big ribbon on her chest and the pink teddy bear have also been faithfully sculpted! （*´▽｀*）


They might not be big, but her breasts certainly have a lovely shape! The creases on her clothes in that area are simply fantastic as well! ＜●＞＜●＞

Plus there are still more ribbons to come!

As you’ll see from the back! ♪


Her curly hair is filled with ribbons from top to bottom! ♥


I wish it was real hair so I could feel it! It looks so soft! ﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ


By the way, the microphone in her left hand can be removed… you could probably find some other similar sized items to have her hold instead! ( -ﾉｪ-)

Ichika Takatsuki

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

Winter is well on it’s way… which makes me want to watch Summer-based series more than ever! I always make sure to rewatch ‘The Girl Who Leapt Through Time’ and ‘Summer Wars’ around this time!

But the product I’m going to be looking at today is also from a Summer-based series which is definitely a good contender for a rewatch!

Ichika Takatsuki! ♪

Senpai!! (*´Д`） Th-they’re so big…

One of the main heroines from the series ‘Waiting in the Summer!’: the smart and gentle Ichika-senpai is almost ready for release! ♪

She also comes with a super soft and fluffy base to display her on! It feels so nice to touch! ♡ The gentle coloring looks amazing as well! (　´∀｀)b

The figure is based on an illustration by the series’ original character designer, Taraku Uon… which reminds me that the Please! Twins and Teacher special Blu-ray’s have been announced for release next year! Just after that announcement the GSC offices were filled with conversations about the Please! series! ♪

Anyway, let’s get a closer look, shall we? ＜●＞＜●＞

Starting from the back!

The back gives you a good look at her long hair as it reaches down to her hips! It has a nice soft, airy appearance! It really looks as if she just tilted her head to the side! (｀・ω・´)

The details of the creases on her skirt are also fantastic! ♥

However coming out of the skirt we have her long, silky and smooth…


Thighs!! ♡

I actually tried touching them over and over again to make sure they weren’t actually soft…! It turns out she really is made from PVC and are in fact very hard… I just don’t understand how they look so soft!!

Thighs really are just a part of the legs, however they somehow have such a sensual feeling about them… ( -ﾉｪ-)

The details inside the skirt are also very impressive!! ( ﾟдﾟ)
…I’m sure all you gentlemen out there know what I’m talking about!!

(I can’t really show it on the blog, but I’ll just leave you with that!)

Moving on!
Ichika’s three-sizes are 92-58-88. Could one ask for better proportions? ♥

From certain angles it looks like she has a bit of a downward gaze! ♪


This angle gives a nice mixture between a shy and a modest look! Personally I also love the slack look of her jersey at the bottom! The details on the finger twirling through her hair are also lovely!


She looks lovely from any angle, high or low! ♥

Nendoroid Petite: THE IDOLM@STER 2 Million Dreams Ver. – Stage 02

I’ll be taking a close look at a set of adorable idols…
Nendoroid Petite: THE IDOLM@STER 2
Million Dreams Ver. – Stage 02 ♡


(*The stage is my own personal item and isn’t included!)

The popular Nendoroid Petites from ‘THE IDOLM@STER 2’ are back again, this time featuring the idols in their ‘Million Dreams’ outfits! This second set includes another seven idols to add to your collection, including Miki Hoshii, Iori Minase, Yukiho Hagiwara, Azusa Miura, Ami Futami, Hibiki Ganaha and Kotori Otonashi. The alternate colored outfits will help you produce your cutest concert ever!

The second set has arrived! (｀・ω・´)

In the original stage two the secret character was Kotori-chan, and she is of course included in the Million Dreams set too! ♥

This is how they look from the back! ♪

Let’s take a closer look at them one-by-one! ﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ

– Kotori Otonashi –

The beautiful office worker of 765 Pro! Definitely an idol at heart though!

The gap of skin between her stockings and skirt is beautiful and the tight skirt itself suits her very nicely! ♪

– Hibiki Ganaha –

The cheerful girl from the South who believes everything’ll all work out even in the toughest of times!


The super energetic animal loving idol! Her ponytail is fitted with a ball joint for some extra posing options! The two strands of hair sticking out from her head are also faithfully included! ♪

– Yukiho Hagiwara –

Often seen cowering away the corner, but definitely still stands out as a true idol!

The kind of idol that everyone falls in love with as they want to protect her! ♡ Her cowardly, crybaby personality is what makes her special! She’s also doesn’t do well with dogs… just like me! ^^;

– Futami Ami –

One step ahead in the battle between twins!
The Futami twin who’s almost too cute!


Following on from Mami-chan in stage one comes Ami-chan in stage two!♥ Her outfit is the same as Mami’s, except for the necklace which features a star on Ami! I love displaying twins together with each other!

– Miki Hoshii –

The cute little devil who let’s her amazing talent go to waste!

Even as a Nendoroid Petite she has a rather sexy look! Her stomach area shows off so much skin! (*ﾉｪﾉ)

– Azusa Miura –

The idol with a smile and body that can calm anyone down!

Any girl that looks good with shortcut hair always looks beautiful in my books! The gentle and calm Azusa-san has many fans here in the GSC offices! I want her to keep me company 24/7! (｀・ω・´)

– Iori Minase –

Making her angry can become a habit… the cute but selfish princess!

The cute little devil with a haughty and selfish side! I love both sides of her personality though! ♥ She’s also a character with a rather large forehead… quite rare in the figure world!

Let’s display them together with the girls from Stage 01! (*・ω・)人(・ω・*)

All together they take up quite an impressive amount of space…! Just with these two sets I feel my desk has become a brighter place… not to mention a more relaxing workspace! (*´Д`)

But today I’m going to focus a little more on two of these characters…!

Chihaya Kisaragi and Iori Minase!

Both will have new figures announced tomorrow!

These are by Max Factory and Phat! Company respectively! ♥

 
First up we have figma Chihaya Kisaragi ☆

This expression has already been revealed… I look forward to seeing what other expressions she comes with! She’s so cute!!

I hope this means we can expect the other characters as figmas too!

Plus the… 1/8th Scale Iori Minase! ☆

The second figure to be based off the BD/DVD illustrations from the IDOLM@STER anime! This product photo is amazing… it really makes you think you can see them but you really can’t! 😛 The lovely floating pose also looks great… I want to take a look at her from all sorts of angles! |дﾟ)

That means there are three IDOLM@STER products being going up for preorder tomorrow! ♪ All the producers out there are in for a treat!

Kaname Madoka ~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~

Every time I see Kyubey the first thing I want to do is stroke his tail! I don’t normally get along with animals all that well, but somehow I think I could get along with Kyubey!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at:

Kaname Madoka
           ~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~ ♪

From the movies released in 2012, ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: The Beginning Story / The Everlasting’ comes a scale figure of Kaname Madoka in her Puella Magi outfit. The figure is a complete rendition of the key visual for the movie, originally illustrated by character designer Ume Aoki. The sculpting work is by Hiroshi (Sakurazensen), the same sculptor who brought you the 1/8th scale Ultimate Madoka. It’s a figure filled with amazing detail for fans to enjoy.

Ooooh!!! ε=(｡＞д＜｡)I’ve been waiting so long!!

We showed off the unpainted prototype at the Summer WonFes, and now finally we can take a look at the painted version!


The soft pinks and whites are so lovely and relaxing!

The colors used by Ume Aoki-sensei have been faithfully preserved! Not to mention all the minute details!


Just look at the detail of the creases on her clothes as her body twists…


Or her cute skirt with such amazing volume!


From the underside you can see all the layers of frills that make up her skirt! It was quite a nerve-wracking experience putting this prototype together… (ﾟＡﾟ;)


The rose at the tip of her bow has also been faithfully sculpted!


The dynamic pose has her hair flowing behind her in a pose that captures the split second of motion perfectly! ♪

The heart-shape area cut out from the dress on her back is also lovely, and personally I’ve fallen in love with the back of her knees! ﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ

It’s a figure you could happily lick stare at for hours..! I think I need to show everyone a video instead of just photos so you can see every angle! ＜●＞＜●＞

Uzuki Shimamura: New Generation Ver.

Yay for long weekends! The dreaded Monday is nowhere in sight! Although having two long weekends in a row makes me scared about next week… it’s going to feel longer than ever! ((((；ﾟДﾟ))))

But let’s not think about that and instead have some fun taking a look at someone with one of the brightest smiles ever! A figure which was recently on display at THE IDOLM@STER 8th ANNIVERSARY HOP! STEP!! FESTIV@L!!!

Uzuki Shimamura: New Generation Ver. ♪

From the popular social game ‘IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Uzuki Shimamura wearing her ‘New Generation’ outfit!

She has a huge smile on her face bringing out her cheerful personality, and the cute pink stage outfit has been sculpted down to the finest of details for fans to enjoy! She also comes with two different expressions for fans to choose from – you can choose to enjoy her cheerful smile either with closed eyes to recreate the original illustration, or instead use the alternate version with open eyes!

She is so CUTE!! ♥♡♥ (*´Д`)


Uzuki is the second figure wearing her ‘New Generation’ outfit, following on from the previously announced Rin Shibuya!! She is based on a pose from one of the illustrations in the game with all the small details kept intact… and just look at that amazing smile! You can’t help but feel a little warm and fuzzy inside looking at her!! (´∀｀*)ｳﾌﾌ

Plus her outfit is the definition of an idol’s outfit! Frilly, colorful and adorable! ☆

Even her shoes are super cute!!

It’s the same lovely smile but somehow the figure has a whole new feeling to it when her eyes are opened!! Of course you can choose whichever expression you prefer, and switch them whenever you feel like it! ﾍ(ﾟ∀ﾟ*)ﾉ

Ahh!! I want the final version her on my desk already!!

Ooh! Otanaka-shi from the planning team has decided to join us once again!!

(・∀・) “She is super cute, but there is a hidden sexy side to her too!”


I think I know what you mean… taking a closer look at her hips and stomach, there is definitely a rather ‘mature’ feeling about her too!


(・∀・) “We wanted to make sure to give her a bit of a sexy side, even if it was bound to be overshadowed by her cuter side!”


The back of her knees also seem to catch my eyes for some reason!

(・∀・) “The ‘peace’ hands and her boobies are also quite the attention grabbers!”

They do look rather… soft…!! ＜●＞＜●＞


(・∀・) “Whilst the lower body is showing off a lot of skin, the upper body is quite covered up by her stage outfit. However, the pose allowed us to create ‘squeezed together’ look, which keeps the cute and sexy balance once again!”

It makes me want to touch them and see if they’re really as soft as they look…

( ・ω・) “The areas I worked the hardest on were probably the frills on her skirt.”

The multiple layers of her skirt look amazing! It’s like a mille-feuille skirt! ♥

( ・ω・) “I did all sorts of research on the volume and balance of skirts using idol magazines!”

Idols in idol magazines to tend to have rather short skirts just like this…

( ・ω・) “I’s also like to point out the voluminous hair and with the twists and curls at the end for extra dynamic effect!”

This much detail in things like the hair curls is what really separates scale figures from others! It really helps bring out her cuteness even more! (*´Д｀)=з

Asuna -Knights of the Blood Ver.-

I’m currently trying to decide whether or not to switch from short to long sleeves! It’s starting to feel like autumn is on the way! But it’s always easy to get sick during season changes, so I hope everyone is taking care!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a product announced today:

Asuna -Knights of the Blood Ver.-!

From the anime ‘Sword Art Online’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the Knights of the Blood sub-leader, Asuna!

She is posed wearing her guild outfit with a serious expression on her face, as she nimbly dances around the battlefield holding her favorite sword, ‘Lambent Light’. It’s a pose that shows both Asuna’s cute and serious side, for fans to enjoy whenever they please!

She’s beautiful!!! (*´Д`)

Her long, flowing hair!


Her dynamic skirt!


Her fluttering cape!


She’s beautiful no matter what angle you look from…
… and she’s right here with me!!!

The pose has an amazingly dynamic feeling which works really well with her outfit to create a wonderful, elegant pose! The details on Lambent Light are also fantastic!

One of my personal favorite areas… her hip area!


I could stare at this forever…! ε=(｡・д・｡)

(・∀・) “Isn’t she nice! Isn’t she pretty! ♪”

The head planner of Asuna, Yuri-chan Honpo has come to stare with me!

(・∀・) “The theme of this figure was to create a figure that stands at the boundary of the 2D and 3D world, showing the beauty from both! (｀・ω・´)”

Yuri-chan was also the head planner for all the other SAO figures as well as other figures like the scale and Nendoroid figures of Kuroyukihime!

(・∀・) “Yep! Nendoroids have a kind of built-in cuteness factor from their chibiness, but scale figures need to bring out the personality and atmosphere of the character completely!”

I think the scale of Kuroyukihime is a good example of that! It preserves her elegant, gentle apperance… and also has a bit of a sexy side!

(・∀・) “Scale figures allow us to focus on the details, which you can really see by looking at Asuna’s outfit!”

The collar and shoulder areas are beautiful… (*´Д`)
The manufacturing team are in for some tough work…

(・∀・) “She’s a scale figure which means she’s not posable, but that allowed us to focus on getting the pose perfect! For those who don’t know, the pose is from the cover illustration of the first light novel! The bottom half of her wasn’t in the illustration so we had to experiment a bit to find some legs that suited the pose!

(・∀・) “The twist in the hips and overall balance of the figure required lots of discussion and testing.”

That’s just one of the challenges of turning 2D into 3D!

(・∀・) “Yep, but I’m a huge fan of Asuna myself, so it was great to see her slowly but surely take shape! ♪”

The figure is filled with Yuri-chan’s love! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

If you were to select your favorite part of the figure, what would it be?

(・∀・) Her armpits!!!”

(・∀・) “The little indents and the way the shadows fall around them just look so perfect!”

The body line down from the armpits to the hips is also lovely! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

(・∀・) “The pose lets you enjoy both armpits, so if you have that little fetish like me, you’re bound to love this figure!”

1/7th Scale Lucy

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure scheduled to ship out from GSC on the 11th September…

Lucy! ♪


She’s the beautiful celestial mage from the popular anime and manga series, FAIRY TAIL! The pose comes directly from the cover illustration of the 9th volume of the manga!


The key in her right hand has been faithfully sculpted, and can be attached and removed whenever you wish!


But that also means you need to be careful not to lose it! ><
I’ve dropped it under my desk at least three times already…

And just look at her from above! She has such a perfect body!!

What a sight!! (*´Д`)

Even from the side her chest is impressive but from this angle… (；・∀・)


Phew! Now you can’t see too much! Thanks wooser! For future reference, a wooser stuck onto a thin brass wire makes for a very useful panties blocker! ☆
