I cannot hide my surprise that we are already in March! I need to get some amazake and get ready for the upcoming Hina Matsuri!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at AQUAMARINE‘s…

Charlotte E. Yeager: Bunny style!

A figure of Charlotte E. Yeager from ‘Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow’ based on the illustration by Fumikane Shimada included as a bonus with the Blu-ray and DVD of the movie.

Her impressive body is shown off by the sexy bunny girl outfit, showing exactly what she is known as ‘Glamorous Shirley’! You can also display her without the hat for a closer look at her expression – simply choose how you would prefer to see her! The third in the Strike Witches ‘Bunny style’ series is also currently in development – Lynne! Look forward to her!

A 1/8th scale figure of the witch from the army of Liberion’s 363rd fighter squadron, Charlotte E. Yeager! All dressed up in lovely shiny bunny girl outfit… rather ideal for a character who had bunny ears to start with! The sexy outfit captures her curves beautifully…

Not to mention her impressive bosom! (/ω＼)

they are make me want to feel them for myself!!

The tight bunny suit shows off her perfect proportions for all to enjoy, but at the same time she is posed covering her face up with her hat which is quite a change from her normally easygoing and carefree personality.♡

Her fluffy tail has also of course been included! (σ・∀・)σ

△ The slight twist in her hips as well as the
border between her thighs and bottom…!

Looking at her directly from the front causes the hat to cover up her expression, but from a slightly lower angle you get a perfect look into her eyes! Simply pick the pose that you think suits her best! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

△ The slightly embarrassed look is so cute! ♪

Fumikane Shimada’s gentle illustration style actually comes out in the figure really nicely! ♥

A look from the side is also super glamorous! (´□｀｡)

It’s hard to accept that the figure is hard when it looks so soft!

Not only is the hat removed, but an alternate hand part holding a card between her fingers is also included! ♪

While she was wearing the hat it seemed like a bit of an embarrassed expression, but somehow without the hat it looks more like a cunning, determined expression! (*´Д｀)=з

SNOW MIKU

Today’s Main Feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at FREEing’s…

SNOW MIKU!

A huge 1/4th scale figure of SNOW MIKU, standing an impressive 42cm in height! The coloring of the popular Hatsune Miku figure has been switched over to the Snow Miku color scheme, with her translucent skin glowing and snowflake patterns added to various areas of her outfit creating a mystical atmosphere to the figure.
Fans will be proud to keep Snow Miku’s angelic smile by their side to enjoy whenever they please – in an impressive scale that stands above the rest!

The beautiful songstress standing before be with a snow flake on her hand!! Just look at her lovely smile which can be enjoyed in all it’s 1/4th scale glory!

Her pale skin matches with the snowy look, making her look like a beauty from a snow country!

The metallic silver, white and light blues of her outfit all look lovely too!

It’s gigantic!!

The little Miku beside the box is the original figma Snow Miku! I think it gives a nice feeling for the size!

The box is not only tall, but also has quite some depth!!

△ It’s like a wall to the figma!

The silhouette on the side has a holographic effect that gives a nice high-class effect! ♡

△ I want to put the box on display as well as the figure!

Anyway, let’s get back to the main figure!

She stands approximately 420mm in height!

The size also allows for nice close attention to the smaller details! The twin-tails twirling around her give her an impressive width as well!

△ The hair slowly becomes a darker blue down toward the tips!

The parts of the twin-tails that connect to the head with a metal peg to keep them in nice and secure!

△ Compared with the figma!

The snowflake on her hand is a separate part that can be attached and removed as you please!

△ It connects into the hand nice and securely! ♪

Also, while the arm cover covers up most of her arm, if you look from a lower angle you can see the arm has been sculpted all the way up! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

This angle also shows the layered effect of her skirt and tie! ♪

Nakigitsune

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

A big thank you to everyone who tuned in to the live broadcast! Today I’m going to be taking a look at Orange Rouge’s latest Touken Ranbu figure…

Nakigitsune!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale of Nakigitsune as a faithful rendition of his standard standing pose.

His slender yet gallant appearance has been carefully sculpted together with all the finer parts of his outfit included in intricate detail – the mask that covers his face, the single shoulder cape and even the leg cape gently wavering in the wind. His fox companion curled around his neck has also been included, allowing Nakigitsune fans to enjoy all of his charms right by their side!

“Greetings! I am Nakigitsune’s companion fox! Time to head out!”

One of the Awataguchi blades, the Uchigatana Nakigitsune is being transformed into a scale figure!

His slender body, soft looking hair and lovely outfit have all been faithfully transformed into a figure based on his standard illustration – plus of course his companion fox has also been included curled around his neck!

The big rounded tail at the other end also looks amazing!!

You can see that this is a very well groomed fox!! ♡

△ I want to pet him! This profile look of Nakigitsune is also lovely!

Nakigitsune and the fox are both amazing themselves, but the details on his outfit are what really bring the figure to life! Look at all the creases and curves of the shoulder and leg cape as they waver in the wind! ★

△ The creases around his hips give a good feel for the thin shape of his body!

His trademark face mask and the magatama earrings both look amazing, and the various different textures are of the different parts of his outfit are all brought out so nicely with the sculpt and paint!

Even the neck tie has a slightly different, more glossy paint job to separate it from the other parts of the outfit! っ(。・ω・)ノ゛

△ The little gap between his gloves and outfit shows a little bit of skin! (⌯¤̴̶̷̀ω¤̴̶̷́)✧

An easy place to see the difference in textures I was talking about are his boots! Look are the soft looking black areas of the leather booths and then compare them to the golden tips!

△ All the little details of his character design have been faithfully preserved! ♪

He has been sculpted by Max Factory’s Nanako-san! ♥︎

△ If you look close you can even make out his mouth through the mask!

His outfit has such a lovely design!

△ Those long, slender fingers are something quite unique to male figures!

The details of his sword including the grip and guard are also a treat for the eyes! Be sure to take a nice close look once he joins your collection! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

The sigil on his shoulder can also be found carved into the sword guard! (●´ω｀●)

△ Although it’s just a simple standing pose, the details really stand out! ★

You can pose him together with the previously released Touken Danshi and experience the difference in their personalities first hand!

He looks amazing all alone, but posing him together with other figures from the series really brings out the atmosphere of the game!! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Be sure to add the quiet swordboy and his fox companion to your collection!

Yuudachi Kai Ni

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I’m already starting to show signs of hay fever and the pollen levels aren’t even high yet! The daily battle against the pollen is set to begin soon!

But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale…

Yuudachi Kai Ni!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the fourth Shiratsuyu Class Destroyer, Yuudachi Kai Ni! The figure has been designed to be displayed in combat with the previously released Shigure Kai Ni, and is based on an original illustration by kujouitiso specially drawn for the figure. The dynamic pose of the figure is made even more fascinating by the effect parts that swirl around her.

She holds torpedoes in one hand to show she is in mid-combat, yet the expression on her face captures her determined personality even in the heat of battle. The ship parts have also been intricately sculpted, and the turrets as well as the torpedo launchers on her legs are of course fitted with joints to add slightly different nuances when displaying her! The ship parts are also sculpted to look physically heavy to contrast against Yuudachi’s soft looking skin and create a figure that fans will be proud to gaze at for years to come!

“Right, let’s have ourselves a lovely party!”

A lovely scale figure of the fourth Shiratsuyu Class Destroyer, Yuudachi Kai Ni in battle mode!

The two tufts of hair that look a bit like animal ears as well as the red eyes that make Yuudachi her ‘Kai Ni’ have all been faithfully included on the figure! The slight pink gradient of her hair has also been preserved! ♡

△ The feeling of movement brought on from the sculpt is also fantastic! (・∀・)

If we take a look at her from the back…

Most of Yuudachi is blocked by her huge ship parts!

Plus the torpedo launchers on her thighs as well as the gun barrels on the turrets feature articulated parts allowing for slightly different nuances when posing her!

The fiery effect parts that surround her show the intense battle she is in, creating a dynamic figure that really captures the atmosphere of the KanColle universe! The red hot flames are also of course a show that Yuudachi is the destroyer that boasts the highest firepower of them all! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

△ The red flames coupled with her red eyes make
her seem to be burning with fighting spirit!

She is posed as if pulling down the white scarf down a bit with a bit of a grin on her face, as if she had just launched an attack of her own!

Plus if you look a little further down, you’ll also notice that the wind is blowing her skirt up quite a fair amount, making low angle shots for the blog quite difficult! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Moving a little higher up, her rather impressive bosom is beautifully sculpted with the rather tight outfit showing off her curves very nicely!! The lines formed by her bent arms and legs are also really nice! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

On the other hand, we also have the mechanical looking ship parts to contrast against her soft looking skin! Let’s take a closer look at those parts – notice that the ship parts feature glossy areas, half-glossy areas as well as flat areas to really recreate that ship-like appearance effectively! ♥︎

△ Even a little ladder is included on the funnel! ☆

Her shiny shoes and slightly transparent socks also look lovely!
Note the little antennae on the back! ♡₍₍ ◝(・ω・)◟ ⁾⁾♡

△ The ship parts also boast lovely gradient paintwork.

Another area on the ship parts that I adore…

The white sail billowing in the wind!

The sail itself couldn’t be completely seen in the original illustration, so we had to assume how this area looked in order for the sail to blow outward like this – it ended up with these three strings connected at the bottom!

Last but not least, there is also a red ship propeller on her back! Not to mention that each of the torpedoes in her hands also each have a little golden propeller on the end!

△ The comical expressions on the torpedoes are also a cute touch! (●´ω｀●)

So much to see on a single figure! Add the destroyer to your collection!

Saber/Souji Okita

Today’s Main Feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at an item currently up for preorder…

Saber/Souji Okita!

A 1/7th scale figure of Sakura Saber – the character who originally appeared in ‘Koha-Ace’ serialized in KADOKAWA’s Comptiq magazine, and then went on to take part in a limited time event in Fate/Grand Order! She has been sculpted wearing the Coat of Oaths Noble Phantasm, showing her dressed just like her true name, Souji Okita! The figure is sculpted by Ken Kawanishi.

The characteristic blue-green coloring of the coat has been faithfully reproduced, and she holds her carefully detailed katana ‘Kiku-Ichimonji Norimune’ ready for combat, creating a figure that fans will be proud to own. Be sure to summon the confident solider of the Shinsengumi to your side!

Such a fearless and gallant appearance! A 1/7th scale figure of Sakura Saber in her ‘true’ form as Souji Okita!

While the figure is a rather simple pose, the feeling of movement of the wind blowing her coat and scarf creates a lovely dynamic element to the figure that is such a treat for the eyes! Plus while the clothes are blowing about in the wind the body looks rigid and ready for combat, creating a kind of tense element to the figure as well!

Let’s see how she looks from the back! ( ✧Д✧)!!

The creases in her outfit are perfect!

The flow of both the pale green haori coat as well as the white kimono she wears beneath it are sculpted so effectively that it’s almost hard to believe that they are not made from actual fabric! But while the clothes are amazing, let’s not let them take away from just how amazing the sculpting of Saber herself is!

Just look at the elegant fingers holding the sword! ♪

In her hands she is holding the sword ‘Kiku-Ichimonji Norimune’, but just look at the way her fingers curl around the sword, making her seem to be holding it with such nimble grace. The details of the grip and ornaments on the sword are also not to be missed! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Also take note of her lovely legs!

The curves of those soft white thighs as she stands on tip-toe…<○><○>

You can’t help but want to run your finger along them! At least I know I can’t! I can’t show it on the blog, but you can actually see even more of these lovely thighs from a lower angle!

Be sure to have a nice close look from all sorts of angles once she joins your collection! ₍₍ ◝(‘ω’◝) ⁾⁾ ₍₍ (◟’ω’)◟ ⁾⁾

Another thing that I have to mention is the detailed sculpting of her hair!

From the ribbon that ties up the hair down to each of the stands blowing in the wind… the sculpting matches with the entire figure very nicely! (/ω＼)

Such beauty and grace for a combat pose, but her expression captures the tension of the combat!

Such an imposing glare, showing strength though calm…

Hobby Maker’s Joint Figure Exhibition Winter 2016: Part 2

What is the Hobby Maker’s Joint Figure Exhibition?

The event is a special industry-only exhibition run by Good Smile Company which allows dealers and the media to get a close look at upcoming releases from various manufacturers. The event includes the most recent works of various different companies!

Saber Alter: huke Collaboration Package from Eight Different Angles

I’m currently on a business trip in Taiwan! It’s so much warmer than Japan, it feels like Spring already! (●´ω｀●)

…isn’t she magnificent?!

Each angle brings out a whole different set of amazing details to enjoy!

The jagged parts of the armor look so different depending on the angle you look from, and the contrast between the black, heavy looking armor and her frilly white dress is such a treat for the eyes! The difference between the amount of visible bare skin from the front and the back is also quite a nice highlight for me! I’m going to be taking a much closer look in a more detailed blog next week once I’m back in Japan!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Owl Ver.

Snow Miku has reached its 7th anniversary this year, and once again this year’s design from piapro was decided by fans during a NicoNico Live Broadcast, and has been transformed into a Nendoroid! The theme this year was ‘Winter Sports’, and the winning design was this active, playful design illustrated by Kotatsu Otogi!The Nendoroid includes three expressions including an energetic smiling expression, a playful giggling expression and a chibi expression with tightly shut eyes. The knitted hat made in the image of an owl has been included with the figure as an actual Nendoroid-size knitted hat. She also comes with a variety of sporty goods including a snowboard, skis with ski poles and goggles! A scarf as well as snowball fight parts are also included to ensure that Miku has a great time in the snow!An alternate body part connected to the skis is also included to display her in action, and a special snowy white base with blue snowflakes is also included to bring out the Winter atmosphere! From the popular game ‘Granblue Fantasy’ comes chibi figures of Lyria and Jita to join the Medicchu series of figures! They are both dressed up in the popular idol outfits that were originally announced as an April Fools joke!

Dekacchu Ranko Kanzaki

From the anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a huge Dekacchu figure of Ranko Kanzaki! Not only is she an impressive size, but she also comes with fire and ice effect parts to bring out the ‘dark power’ that wells inside her! Enjoy the company of the huge Ranko Kanzaki in your collection!

figma Vehicles: Panzer IV Ausf. H “D-Spec”

From the popular anime series Girls und Panzer comes a 1/12th scale figure of the Ankou Team’s tank, the Panzer IV Ausf. H upgraded into to its D-Spec – also known as the Mk.IV Special! The tank is fully assembled and also comes equipped with twin motors allowing it to drive it forward! The model is based on the latest 3DCG data used in the Girls und Panzer movie, ensuring the proportions and details are all faithfully included.

The turret can be rotated and the main battery can be moved up and down allowing the tank to take careful aim. Various hatches around the tank can also be manually opened and closed. You can even easily display figma Miho Nishizumi and the other members of the Ankou Team riding inside the tank!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s…

Atago: Heavy Armament Ver.!♥︎

From the browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a scale figure of the 2nd Takao-class Heavy Cruiser – Atago! This is a special ‘Heavy Armament Ver.’ that will be a new addition to Good Smile Company and Max Factory’s ‘Wonderful Hobby Selection’ series of top-quality figures!

This version of Atago has her equipped with her three 20.3cm Twin Gun Mounts to recreate the complete Atago for fans to enjoy! Her fluttering skirt and long, gently waving hair can be enjoyed from any angle you please! Not to mention you can enjoy both the stunning body and the impressive ship parts of Atago with this Heavy Armament Ver. in your collection!

“Atago, ready for departure! ♪”

A 1/8th scale figure of the 2nd Takao-class Heavy Cruiser with a gentle and calming personality, Atago! The figure is filled with highlights – from the three Twin Gun Mounts to her long hair twirling around her and her even longer skirt waving about! Not to mention her rather impressive bosom!!

The ship was made in the Kure Naval Arsenal with a beautifully balanced body as well as heavy arms for combat! Her charms have really come out on the figure nicely! ₍₍ (ง ˙ω˙)ว ⁾⁾

The stockings she is wearing also have been painted so amazingly! Just look at the stretched out parts that reveal a little more of the skin color of her beautiful legs!

△ The lighter and darker shades look so perfect!

Let’s twist her around for a look from the back!

The large ship parts that surround her in an arc give her such an amazing presence!

The skirt flowing down like a gown also looks fantastic, with a very beautiful blue gradient that really makes the sculpt look like fabric! ★

The difference between the mechanical ship parts and the soft looking curves of her body make for a lovely contrast!

The ship parts look so cold, yet the body looks so warm…

Another amazing thing about her sculpt is the various creases on her outfit! Look at any of the photos and I’m sure you will agree!

Even the reverse side of her skirt and the frills on her sleeves have been faithfully included! ♡

Homura Akemi ~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~

It makes me sad to think that January has already somehow passed by… the start of February means that WonFes is just around the corner!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Homura Akemi
~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~!

From ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: The Beginning Story / The Everlasting’ comes a scale figure of Homura Akemi in her Puella Magi outfit. The figure is based on the original key visual for the movie, originally illustrated by character designer Ume Aoki.

Even the finer details such as how her hair sways in the wind has been carefully detailed for fans to enjoy in their collection. Be sure to display her with the previously released Kaname Madoka ~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~!

“I wouldn’t mind being stuck in a never-ending maze… as long as it was for you.”

Dressed up in her Puella Magi outfit with her hair swaying in the wind around her as she looks ahead with wistful eyes – Homura Akemi as a lovely 1/8th scale figure! The figure is based on the original key visual for the movie, originally illustrated by character designer Ume Aoki-sensei!

Both her hands look so amazing! One holding down her hand and another holding a pistol! Not to mention her nails painted a beautiful pink!! ♪

The frilly skirt fluttering around as well is just as lovely, and the creases in her outfit in areas like her elbows and hips look absolutely fantastic! ☆

This is how she looks from the back!

The forward-bent posture she is posed makes the fluttering look of the skirt even more enjoyable from the back! The ribbon on her back also sways around with her hair!! This angle also gets you a nice look at her glossy black tights!!

You can also just see the nape of her neck! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡

The gentle floating feeling of the figure is then completed with these rosy cheeks and adorable expression…

She looks so gentle, and yet the wistful in her eyes is also very clear…

I feel like there is something on the other side of those eyes that I’ll reach if I just keep staring into them. While the pose is overall quite a simple one, it still has so many unique touches and charms! It catches my attention in so many different ways! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧
