A 1/8th scale figure of Miku wearing a FamilyMart staff uniform! She definitely has a different feeling about her wen wearing this!

The posing is identical to the previously released 1/8th scale Miku figure, but those who go to FamilyMart often will feel quite close to home seeing her in this uniform! I wish Miku would really serve me next time I go to FamilyMart!!

What a wonderful sight! I think personally I prefer peeking inside here even more than looking under her skirt! 😛

The adorable FamilyMart uniform!

The lines and logo all look just like the real thing! The shirt and tie on the inside also look great!

Her white skirt has such a fresh feeling!

The black top and white skirt contrast so nicely! It also has a nice summer-time feeling to it which suits Miku nicely! The normal Miku also normally has shiny futuristic boots, but Family Miku’s boots are matte coated instead – they look so smooth to the touch!

Miku-san is such an angel!!

This is a Nendoroid of Miku wearing the same FamilyMart uniform! She also comes with a couple of optional parts to play with! The standard pose is designed to look like Miku is welcoming you into the store – isn’t she adorable!

This is how the packaging looks!

Slightly more simple than the standard Nendoroids, but she still comes with a small set of extras to enjoy, including some bent arms, straight arms and folded arms for a couple of different poses!

The little mark on her sleeve was taken from the actual data provided to us from FamilyMart! Even the small details like that have made their way onto the Nendoroid!

Everyone loves the Family Chicken that comes from FamilyMart, so it only suits that Miku should have some to enjoy as well! You can pose her eating it herself like this, or instead pose her handing it over to you – whichever you’d prefer!

When I see her with this expression I can’t help but imagine she is saying something like that! The bent arm you see here and the arm holding the Family Chicken are separate parts entirely.

With all the prototypes touring around Japan I was worried I wouldn’t have anything to put on the blog, but I knew that if I wandered about the offices for long enough I would find something! I get the feeling it’s currently being used for work, but I’ll just be borrowing it for a second! 😛

The 6th Strike Witches Nendoroid:
Nendoroid Erica Hartmann!

From the hit anime series ‘Strike Witches’ comes the 6th Nendoroid from the series – the super ace of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, Erica Hartmann. As with the previous Strike Witches Nendoroids, she comes with a variety of optional parts to recreate your favorite scenes, including air combat scenes!

This is how she looks from the back!

Erica uses the same type of stand as Gertrud Barkhorn which makes it easy to make aerial poses. She also comes with the horizontal adapter for posing her flying horizontally!

The base of the stand also includes the 501st Joint Fighter Wing logo just like the previous Strike Witches Nendoroids. (This isn’t visible on the prototype, but will be on the final product.)

Receiving orders wearing her hat!

You can pose saluting by using the included bent arm! If you want to recreate the scene more precisely you’ll need to make use of Lucchini’s pants parts! 😛

The attractive hitchhiking pose!

If you use the same bent arm backwards, you can create this sexy pose! The winking expression is great for all sorts of different scenes. Her hat can of course also be removed!

Posed with her Strike Unit attached!

Erica is well known to be a super efficient and strategic flier when it comes to aerial combat – she has taken down over 200 opponents! She holds her MG42 with a specially included arm and hand parts to do so!

She also comes with an expression for combat!
Plus we can’t forget the included tail and alternate fringe parts to recreate her Dachshund ears! They’re so very cute!

Her special ‘Sturm’ technique!

Erica spins her body around to create powerful waves of wind, and the technique can even be recreated in Nendoroid form! She comes with partially clear effect parts, along with special arms to pose her just like this! She looks life she could defeat anybody in the skies with this attack!

Nendoroid Hakase

WonFes featured the debut of many new figures!!

One of which was this Nendoroid!

The second Nendoroid to be released from Nichijou! I love getting more and more characters from a single series so I can pose them together – it’s even better when they come with some optional parts to use as well!

Although, at WonFes you only really get to look at the Nendoroid alone and not all the optional extras – today we’ll be taking a look at everything!

Nendoroid Hakase!

From the anime series that was broadcast on NHK Education TV comes a Nendoroid of the self-proclaimed 8-year old genius – Shinonome Laboratory’s Hakase! She also comes with a load of optional parts that are great for displaying her together with the previous Nendoroid from the series, Nano Shinonome!

Thanks to her really long lab coat, she has to be one of the most stable Nendoroids ever! (I’m pretty certain she won’t even need a stand :P) The little hair sticking up on her head also looks lovely!

She also comes with the Sakamoto the black cat, a Sakamono Pharmacy cardboard box and a low table!

This super cute version of Hakase can be made using the included cat ears, cat tail and bent arm parts! Her chest area is also fitted with a joint so you can pose her bent over slightly like this to complete the pose!  Wonderful!

A super happy expression!

Just looking at this expression makes me feel happy as well! She is so cute!! Plus she comes with her favorite swiss roll and mug, so you can see exactly why she is so happy!

She also has sitting parts which I love!  Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟ )

A crying face that’s just as cute!

It’s adorable!! It makes me want to take more snacks away from her so she cries some more!! The way her eyes are drawn along with the wavy mouth are just so wonderful!

Rock, paper, scissors!

You can recreate the rock, paper, scissors matches between Hakase and Nano! Now I finally understand why the shark hand was included with Nano! Great job planning team! Hakase even comes with a sleeve part being bitten by the shark!

The Shinonome household!

Hakase also comes with a teacup to recreate teatime in the Shinonome household! I definitely want to grab these two and display them above my desk just like this!

The photo looks great, but you really need to see and feel it in person to really experience how lovely they are! I feel so relaxed playing with these two!

A shouting expression for combat!

You can also change Raising Heart into Strike Flame mode!

The light and wing parts of the Strike Flame form are made using a clear pink plastic which looks really nice. The wings on her feet are actually made using the same clear parts, and can also be removed and attached whenever you like.

She really is loaded with joints – she has joints on her neck, twin-tails, shoulders, hips, elbows, knees, wrists, ankles and more! Even the sides of her skirt can be moved around, allowing you to create really dynamic looking scenes with her skirt blowing around in the action!!

Just looking at this smile calms me down!

If you prefer the more peaceful side of Nanoha then you can stay way from the combat poses and have a much more peaceful pose like this one! She looks so happy to be holding Raising Heart!!

The ability to change the poses to however you like is really great! You can really pick the Nanoha you want to see with this version!

WonFes preparations are well under way!

If you look through the window’s smile you’ll see a couple of figures – there are being setup to figure out how they should be placed in the display cases at WonFes! There will be a lot of new figures on display at WonFes as well, so figure fans have a lot to look forward to, whether you are going to the event or not!

Nendoroid Insane Black Rock Shooter

She is of course from the anime series that aired on Fuji TV’s noitaminA block, ‘Black Rock Shooter’ – a more psychotic version of Black Rock Shooter that played a big role in the series!  The Nendoroid can take a variety of poses from the series as well as from key visuals from the series!

This is an actual sample of the product!

With only five days to go, we obviously aren’t looking at the prototype, but in fact at one of the actual figures that will be on sale at the event! This is pretty much exactly what you’ll get if you pick her up at WonFes this weekend!

As you can see from the packaging above, she comes with a lot of extra parts to play around with!

This is how she looks from the back!

As you can see, the Insane Cannon Lance at her side is even taller than her! It’s also attaches to her back with a chain. Her spiky twin-tails are also fitted with joints! The crown on the left is made of a softer material so it doesn’t get in the way of posing at all!

The Insane Cannon Lance!

She can be posed holding the cannon with her right hand while her left hand pulls the chain back to support it! The incredible size of the weapon creates a pose has a really epic feeling to it!

I’m glad you noticed! But in case you didn’t…
Insane-san has more joints than a normal Nendoroid!

Not only does she have joints in her shoulders and wrists, but also her elbows, knees and ankles! It’s not quite as many joints as the super posable ‘Edition’ series of Nendoroids, but it is definitely more than normal and definitely makes it possible for some more interesting poses!

A rather cute looking combat expression!

Those scornful eyes with the kind of blank staring expression suits her so well! Insane-san is so adorable… 😛

She also comes with a separate arm part to pose her with the Cannon Lance horizontally at her side like this!

The Insane Blade Claw!

The blade has been given a nice metallic look, and can be held in either hand! The BRS series is often praised for working with figmas very well, but I have to say I think it works just as well with Nendoroids! huke’s designs are just so incredible!!

Insane-san looking down from above!

She looks like a dominatrix looking down on everyone, it’s lovely!! The purple flame over her eye connects onto her fringe and so can be used with either of the expressions!

Exchange expressions with Nanoha!

Nendoroid Nanoha Takamachi & Fate Testarossa : Seishoudai Primary School Uniform Ver. is another one of the WonFes products together with Insane-san – if you grab both of them you can exchange expressions for a rather interesting look like this!

Their eyes are a similar purple color, so it actually suits quite well! Insane-san looks so much more innocent suddenly! ((((( ;゜Д゜)))))

Aki-san’s 40th Birthday Present : Takapai Mahjong Tiles!

All of the tiles feature the words ‘Good Smile’ on them! They are a one-of-a-kind original set of Mahjong tiles!

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a look at this lovely Nendoroid!

From Saki Achiga-hen:

Nendoroid Nodoka Haramura!

From the anime series filled with cute girls who love playing Majhong, “Saki Achiga-hen” comes a Nendoroid of Nodoka Haramura, also known as ‘Nodacchi’! She also comes with a large selection of optional parts to help you recreate your favorite scenes!

Her bust-size is even nice and clear in Nendoroid size!!

This is how she looks from the back!

Her long, straight hair looks absolutely lovely from the back! Is it just me or do pink-haired characters seem to have the largest busts…?

She also comes with a chair and her stuffed penguin, Etopen!

You can put her hair up in twin-tails!

You can choose between having the long hair or the twin-tails with a quick switch of some parts! You could even change her hairstyle to suit the weather!

You can also display her holding Etopen!

This is actually a separate Etopen, so you actually get two versions of him!

The “I’ll definitely win!” pose!

By replacing the side hair with a separate part you can pose her with her hand up in the air like this! That smiling expression with her mouth slightly open also looks absolutely lovely!

She also comes with sitting parts!

An entirely separate lower body part that allow you to pose her seated on the chair! You really do get quite a lot of variety with all the different body types and hairstyles!

She has bent arms, and an Etopen for the sitting pose!

That means there are actually three different versions of Etopen! Nakajima was the head of planning for this figure, and you can really see he had a soft spot for the little penguin! 😛

A spaced-out face and 2-bamboo tile!

This is the expression she always had when she went into her awakened state while playing mahjong – which makes it ideal for posing her in the middle of a mahjong game!

I kind of which I had a full-size miniature majhong table to display with her! If more Nendoroids from the series come out, perhaps Phat company will consider it!

Reach! She also has a 1000 point bar!

It’s a bit hard to see in this image, but it is the blue reach bar! I’ve only ever seen white versions before, but apparently there really are blue ones as well!

Another thing that I haven’t really touched on is her lovely uniform! The half-sleeves together with that design look so wonderful!

Yay, he actually took the pose!

Shuu-chan from the planning team was kind enough to take the attack charging pose from Monster Hunter for us! You can’t really see his expression in this photo, but even that is a very convincing rendition of the game! 😛

In the background we also have the cafe team watching with a smile! I love Good Smile just because of all the things like this!!

Today we’ll be looking at the next fully posable character to join the Nendoroids!

Male Swordsman – Lagia X Edition!

From the Nintendo 3DS game ‘Monter Hunter 3G’ comes a Nendoroid of the male swordsman wearing the G-class ‘Lagia X Series’ armor set, made using items from the Sea Wyvern Lagiacrus.

The Nendoroid features an amazing 23 different joints for all sorts of different poses! The figure has also been given a very solid finish to recreate the defensive feeling of the armor!

The great-sword he wields is the Thunder Blade Lagiacrus!
Because he is a part of the fully posable ‘Edition’ series of Nendoroids, you can strike some really cool poses with his sword! Let’s play around a bit! (`･ω･´)

This is how he looks from the back!

The little tail-like thing sticking out the back of his helm looks lovely! It’s also fitted with a ball joint so you can move it around!

As a quick side-note, I’d like to let everyone know the GSC is full of Monster Hunter lovers! I was quite addicted to it myself at one stage…

Gathering!!

He had best watch out though, as the fierce Rathalos is behind him! This is one of Shuu-chan’s own personal models, which is a part of Capcom’s ‘Capcom Figure Builder: Creator’s Model’ series.

Rathalos always just flew away whenever I tried to get him…

I’m actually using double-sided tape to hold the sword onto the stand here, it doesn’t actually connect on like this. ^^; When you look through his helmet you can see he has some lovely clear eyes!!

Displayed with Lagiacrus!

This was the monster that had to be defeated for our warrior to make all this lovely armor! Lagiacrus is generally found underwater, and I was not really used to underwater combat when I fought him so it took me quite awhile…

Cooking some meat!

This little extra is actually my own personal little part and isn’t included with the figure, but it seemed to suit the Nendoroid so well I had to take a picture! It does look a bit odd that he has such a straight expression while sitting on an invisible chair though. 😛

Swap expressions with other Nendos!

You can put your favorite character in a set of Lagia armor with just the swap of his face! You can also replace the entire head and just use the body armor!

He has moved from the planning team to the manufacturing team!!

Oooh! That’s great! I wish I could have the chance to work in some different departments from time to time…

At one point I actually asked Aki if I could join the manufacturing team, but the request was quickly declined… ^^;

I actually one day hope to be able to work in planning, production, manufacturing and advertising! I’m sure I’ll get there one day, but I think production will be the hardest one to get into…

From Rinne no Lagrange:

Nendoroid Madoka Kyouno!

From the anime series set in Kamogawa, ‘Rinne no Lagrange’ comes a Nendoroid of the heroine of the series, Madoka Kyouno! She comes with a variety of expressions and replaceable parts which allow you to create her signature poses, display her in her uniform or her jersey or even pose her with her hair tied up!

In this photo I’m posing her with a pointed finger to recreate the… “correct!” pose where she draws a circle in the air!

This is how she looks from the back!

She has classic brown hair, with some of her hair sticking up at the sides! The sleeve on her left arm is rolled up, and the shoulder and elbow are separate parts to allow for more combinations of parts!

A confident expression and tied up hair!

Using this expression while she is wearing her orange jersey is perfect for recreating combat scenes! The tied-up hair is a simply a completely seperate fringe part that you just need to swap out quick and easily!

But there is still much more to come…

She also comes with her school uniform!

A separate upper-body wearing her white uniform instead of the orange jersey is also included! With the separate fringe, body and expressions you can pose her in all sorts of wonderful poses!

You can even pose her drinking her ‘Kamogawa Energy’ drink!

A startled expression and more arms!

This of course recreates the scene from the very first episode of the series! The expression is so unique – it’s like a perfect cross between being surprised and embarrassed!

Midori━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━!!!!

The Vox Aura that Madoka pilots in the series will also be available in a special collaboration with Hasegawa’s Egg Plane series!!

Egg Planes are rounded, miniature aircraft models with small wings, creating a humorous design for model aircraft. Hasegawa is known for its scale models, however the Egg Planes are still a very well received series of products.

The interesting shape of the models along with a much more colorful and comical box art compared to Hasegawa’s other models drives the popularity. The models also have very few parts in comparison to the scale models are are thus much easier to put together and popular with children as well as adults. They often take up the role of introducing newcomers to the modeling and painting world.

I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels that way!

As was mentioned on the Wiki article above, the Egg Plane series is a plastic model series, so you’ll have to grab it and put it together yourself before you can have Madoka take a ride! Grab the model kit along with some of the GSR Diagonal Pliers at WonFes and make one for yourself! Note that the Egg Plane is sold separately from the Nendoroid!
