March starts tomorrow!

Time really flies… but at least now I have a little time to play New Love Plus and Nendoroid Generation!

The other day I was thinking of some kind of present to myself, but I really haven’t been able to think of anything. There isn’t really anything I really want… besides sleep and gaming time. 😛 Plus I have figures around me all the time, so getting a figure isn’t really an amazing present at the moment. What would you get yourself as a present?

But anyway, I’ll leave you wandering about that while we move into this corner!

I’m writing this in regard to the Milky Holmes Nendoroids.
The other day you introduced Nendoroid Nero on the blog, and when her hat was off, there was no hair sticking up!
Even the Nendoroid Petite has it, so the big Nendoroid should as well!

The Nero Yuzurizaki Nendoroid that was on Mikatan blog the other day didn’t have any hair sticking up when her hat was removed.
The figure looks amazing, and it would be a shame for her to not have the hair! (´；ω；`)

I watched the last WonHobby live broadcast, it was great! I’ve never been able to participate in WF myself, but I’m looking forward to going and investigating the booths in person at the next event.

I work in Akiba, but hadn’t been the the GSC Cafe there yet, so today (2/13) I went with my friend and had a Mega-sized QB Curry! We also got to take a look at all the things that were on display at WF! I even got to see my idol, Oda-P! And that Ultimate Madoka figure was just incredible…

I was very happy to see all the display figures transferred to the cafe the day after the huge event! I was so happy to be able to see them. Thank you

After the late live broadcast, there were still some staff members that went to work normally the next morning to get the prototypes on display… I really can’t compete with them… But there were lots of people who mentioned that they didn’t get a chance to see the figures on display due to the crowds, so we had to get them on display again for everyone to enjoy!

Thanks very much for the late night WonFes broadcast!

At WonFes I was able to try out some of the needle-nose pliers at the try-out corner.
I also tried out a number of other similar products, but the next day when I went down to the model store, I looked around a bit and settled on the GSR pliers.

I wanted to try them out again as soon as possible, so I got a few materials together and made a simple ring with them. I’ve worked with a lot of much more complex twists and turns and I can say for sure that the thin edge of these pliers and absolutely brilliant for small parts. The normal rough bits on the end on most pliers also are not on these, so there is no risk of leaving marks on metal. I’m so glad I decided on them!

I would also normally make use of a pin set to pull the beads out of their case to work with them, but this time I was able to do it with just the pliers! I personally find them so easy to use, plus they are made in Niigata prefecture which is well known for it’s metalworking! I’m surprised to see the price was so great for such an amazing tool!

I hope you can pass on these comments to whoever is in charge of the GSR Tools!

The ever popular GSR Pliers!

The diagonal pliers in particular are in fact still suffering from a lack of stock! Sorry about that…  but we are currently producing a whole lot more, so please be patient just a little bit longer.

Thank you for sending through the little trinket you made using your GSR Pliers!! It looks very well made!! Seki-sama from the General Management section is also a huge fan of the GSR Pliers! (He built an entire Aegis ship!)

This WonFes there are so many figures I can’t wait to get my hands on, but the best were Nendoroid Gackpoid and GUMI!
I actually sent in a request for them in the past, so I was so happy to see them! Both of them don’t have many products related to them, so when I saw them as a part of my beloved Nendoroid series I couldn’t have been happier! (´；ω；｀)

I just saw the announcement of figma Samus Aran! It looks like she just jumped right out of the game!  I was thinking I had to grab her when suddenly I noticed… she’s from Nintendo!

Yep! NINTENDO!!

Well, it’s not specifically a Wind Waker version, but figma Link is in the production process! I still can’t believe that we are making figures from Nintendo’s games! He’ll be coming up for preorder shortly, so look out for it!

I’ve also been waiting for Archer’s debut…. waiting, and waiting with no end in sight…

Straight onto my main question… what kind of stand does KAITO’s Cheerful version use? I personally think the first Nendoroid KAITO’s stand was a little unstable – I hope the Cheerful version uses a different stand.

The work is filled with tough times and fun times! Good connections and good timing can help you get into any work if you put your heart into it.

My own personal answer to all those wanting to work here… always believe that there is something you are the very best at! Something like “If you’re looking for a logical solution, come to me”, “I can come up with more ideas than anyone”, “I can finish a coating faster than anyone else”, “I am the most loving person there is”, etc! It doesn’t matter what it is, the important thing is that you believe yourself to be the best! Don’t ever get down about it!

I hope the day comes where we can work side-by-side! (`･ω･´)ゞ

Time really flies… I started reading your blog back in my third year of middle school, yet now I’m a first year university student. I still check Mikatan blog everyday on the train ride home!

The other day I had a day off university, so I decided to go to Kyoto with Akashi-san! I know The Tatami Galaxy finished airing over a year ago now, but I’m still a big fan of Morimi-sensei’s work, so I had to go on a little anime pilgrimage with Akashi-san

The picture is taken at Yoshida temple which is right near to Kyoto University. It was school festival season, but there was nobody over on this side, so I could take my photos in peace!

I’m from Iwaki city in Fukushima prefecture. There were some Osmanthus trees flowering in my garden, and so I decided to do something with them and Gumako, seen the colors matched…

What we need at the moment, is the simple every day life right in front of us. There really were lots of anime pilgrimage photos this time around! It’s so great to see so many! It really shows people’s love for the figures and the series! Just be careful when taking photos outdoors – they can get damaged much more easily outdoors!

My figma Touma arrived today, so I decided to take some photos! This is my second male figma after Ren, so I was quite exited! I had to display him with Misaka and the her little sisters! Here is a quick shot of the three of them!

I think my Kuroneko will arrive next month… I can’t wait for her, as well as the figma Index next year in February!

This year’s autumn leaves have lasted a really long time thanks to the warm days! I haven’t taken photos outdoors in ages, and so it didn’t come out too well… particularly seen there were so many people around so taking this photo wasn’t easy! 😛

I never see those where I stay! They’re really pretty! We’ve got some photos of autumn leaves and another of cherry blossoms! It’s hard to imagine all these photos come from the same time frame! After reading your blog on the 20th, I remembered what made me get into figures as well. Just like you, I was amazed at how the 2D world came to life in the 3D world through figures. It’s now been over ten years since I started collecting figures, and I’ve got a load from all over – my precious treasures. They’re always there for me when times are tough!

In particular, I’ve fallen in love with GSC’s Nendoroid series, great quality at great prices!

My parents often ask me why I collect figures, but I don’t need to answer that with anything more than that they are my precious treasures, and I don’t intend to stop collecting anytime soon! I’m looking forward to many more figures from GSC in the future!

I’m so glad to hear that Nendoroid Masamune is going on resale! I’ve heard on a couple of review sites that it can be quite difficult to get him to stand up – has this been improved in the resale version

It will be fixed for the resale version!!

The image above is taken from the Phat company blog. They say they will be improving the stability the stand offers! There were a lot of people who thought a push-in type of stand would be better, but there is the family crest there and we don’t really want to open a hole up there…

The same stand used for Masamune will also be used Nendoroid Yukimura Sanada! It’s not 100% decided just yet, but you may be able to apply for the new stand to be mailed to you as well.

Rin Tohsaka -UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS- will have more stock in stores from next week Monday!

I quietly fulfilled this request in yesterday’s blog, I hope you enjoyed it! That expression really is in a league of it’s own!

I see you wrote a blog today about yesterday’s SUPER GT, so I decided to send through this mail! I also went to the racing track yesterday and had a nice look at the Miku GT car!

Before the race started, I went down to the pit and got a nice close look at the car, and was really impressed at how great it looked from close up! Now that it managed to take the gold in the championship I’m even more impressed than I was before – thank you for the wonderful race!

If there is ever another race I’ll be sure to come take a look again, so I do hope to see the car coming back for the next season!

Congratulations, Miku GT Car!!

I went to the Motegi race as well, and got to see the legend in the making, it really was an incredible moment!! The racer, Yamaguchi and all the GSR Staff were all in tears when the victor came in!

The Miku car really tried it’s best, and the results are there to show it! It’s all thanks to all the support we got from people like you! See you next season!!

Will Erio Touwa’s sparkling hair be part of the figure? It really is a part of her character! If it’s not, I think I’ll just coat it with some glittered nail polish… though I’m just a bit worried that it might damage the figure or react in some strange way? If you could shed some light on the topic, I’d be happy!

Unfortunately our versions of Erio don’t have sparkling hair… sorry…

But, I tried out your method!

This is white glittered nail polish. Unfortunately, different nail polish can use different ingredients, so it might end up as an unfortunate experience with other types…

Just be careful when trying it!

As a side note, as soon as you put on a single layer, there is no turning back. There are nail polish removers, but they will very often peel the paint off the figure as well, so I don’t recommend even trying them. There is a little more info about that in this post over here:

The one anime that is entertaining me the most is the series called Uta no Prince-sama: Maji Love 1000%!

All the characters are so awesome, I just get so exited when watching the series! I absolutely love figures of cute girls and have tons displayed in my room, but I kind of wish I could get some cute guys to join them as well!

I must admit that I’m also a fan of the Utaprince series! Both the games and the anime! The addition of ‘Maji Love 1000%” to the title of the anime was pure genius, it really got me to start watching the series!

A lot of people always ask who my favorite character is… if I had to pick one I think it would be Hijirikawa. But they really are all magnificent!

I keep seeing lots of outdoor photography, and seen I’ve been going traveling quite a lot recently, I often think I should try it for myself…
I was just wondering, is there some kind of carrying bag that suits Nendoroids well? You always see things like guitar cases, so I think we should get Nendoroid cases as well!

Awhile ago, there were Nendoroid Travel Pouches!

Just their little heads pop out – it looks lovely! Koyamada from the production team makes use of them almost everyday!

Unfortunately, there were a special campaign present, and are not an actual product. Perhaps the quality will be upgraded a little for an actual product release in the future! I certainly hope so!

I recently received my Fate Extension Set, and can’t believe how cute they are, and what incredible quality they are for such small figures!

I mainly bought it for the normal human-sized servants, and to be honest I didn’t really care about Berserker (sorry… :P), but the quality of them all is incredible! I’ll be happy to even display Berserker by Ilya’s side!

It was at that point I was wondering…. how can I become ‘Mikatan’? Working with figures all day long, even with lovely prototype figures! I’m sure it’s not quite as easy as I’m making it out to be, but I’d love to know how to become a Mikatan!! What work do you do besides write the blog and attend all the events?

Kyubey out in the woods!

QB is well known to appear out of the blue in the strangest places,  but I never expected him out in nature like this! Somehow it does seem to suit him really well though… 😛

I went out to take a look at the hydrangeas with Kuroneko while there was a slight drizzle.

Now that it’s summer, sunflowers came to my mind, so I went out to a sunflower field in Ono city which is in Hyougo prefecture.

I’m mailing today with my first ever product request for GSC – which is the characters from ‘Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa mada Shiranai’. I absolutely loved the anime, and would love to see some Nendoroids from it – I want to see all the ‘Peace Busters’ as Nendoroids. 😀 If a full Nendoroid is impossible, maybe even just Nendo Petites like the Bakemonogatari or Angel Beats ones!

figma Homura Akemi comes with extra braided hair parts, and on the prototype the ribbon for this hair was the one for her school uniform. When she transforms, the ribbon changes – is there any chance that will be fixed for the release?

Snow Miku is super cute and looks really great in my figure display case! The ice-tray that came with it just won’t make good ice for me though! The leek in particular just never comes out right! (´・ω・｀) Are there any special tips for using it?

The leek is really difficult!!

The basics are to take it out as slowly as possible, using something like a toothpick to pry it out carefully. All the parts besides the leek can be heated on the reverse side to get them out a bit easier as well – I did make a blog about the ice tray some time back, do take a look at that!

I’ve become quite interested in getting work as a sculptor! What exactly should one do to get into the working world of sculptors? Is there anything I should be doing from now?

I went to have a talk with the 1/8th scale BRS Series sculptor, Akeji!

But on a serious note, it shows that you have to be serious to work as a sculptor – it’s not an easy job by any means! But as a high-school student you have unlimited possibilities at the moment, if you still want to be a sculptor in a few years I’m sure you can make it happen!

I really enjoy working with very fine details on things, and was thinking of looking for work in the figure industry in the future. However, I can’t draw at all, and I hear that 3D figure modelling is much more important nowadays.

Can someone who cannot draw at all still find work in the figure industry?

The ability to observe and to image things!

When you think about it, it really is logical, but hearing it from someone in the industry really makes it official!! 😛 I also asked some other sculptors about this, and a lot of them mentioned picturing still images at different angles in their minds while working on sculpting – I think the ability to draw does definitely come in handy, but it’s not necessary!

Ah! I finally got my hands on some Nendoroid Petites! It was so hard to find them in my prefecture, so I had to go to the next prefecture to find some! (By the way, I’m a 6th year primary school student.)

I’ve really started to enjoy figures as of recent. I’ve always been a fan of things like soft vinyl figures and models since I was young, and now thanks to Nendoroids and figmas I’ve started to really like action figures as well.

I’ve been wanting to go to WonFes for awhile now, but I’m not sure if it’s the kind of place for me – I hesitate every time it comes around. When I see it on the news I always see there are a load of guys and not very many other girls… and most girls that are there are very young. In my case, I have a child already in primary school. He is also starting to show interest in models and figures now, so I was thinking that next year I might go along with him to the event.

Are primary school students allowed to join in at WonFes? How about older ladies like myself?

As far as your question goes – you yourself are of course welcome at WonFes! There are definitely a lot of guys, but there have been more and more girls coming to the event as well recently! It’s great fun, even if you’re just there to look around at the event!!

Although, I can’t really say seen the event isn’t a GSC only event – the official website does mention that primary school students will get in for fee, so I don’t think there will be a problem at all. If you’d like more confirmation, feel free to contact Kaiyodo!

MEIKO is the #1 twenty-year old idol, and I finally get to have a Nendoroid of her! I knew Good Smile wouldn’t let me down!

It’s incredible! I can even see the keyboard’s keys! I wish I could make things like that! For those like me who aren’t good with this kind of handiwork, there is a notebook included in Phat! Company’s Classroom Set!

I always take some photos over at Kyuufurukawa Park, and this year when I heard the roses were going into bloom I went along with my Nendoroid Kuroneko.

I took this photo with the scenario of her saying “I want you to give me this rose”. I actually wanted to find a slightly redder rose, but a TV crew was filming on the day so I didn’t have a chance to get close to the ones I wanted.

I tried making my own Nendoroid Petite of Ghost in the Shell’s Motoko Kusanagi to display next to the Nendoroid Tachikoma. I made a smiling and a shouting face, two sets of legs – one for standing and one for sitting, as well as a handgun, sub-machine gun and a body and rifle to recreate the scenes from episode 21.

… I think I made a bit too much, but I’m sure there are others like me who would love to see her as an official product!! Maybe even just as an extra to a magazine or something!

I knew this background which was used in the series was close by, so I decided to go out and take some photos. It was a nice sunny day and I think the pictures came out really nicely. (at least, by my standards.)
I absolutely love the folded arms and that confident expression. In just the short time she was out I managed to drop her while taking the photo… she injured her back…

I hope her back is alright! Taking photos outdoors does often lead to more injuries than indoor photography – consider bolstering the joints with some double sided tape to avoid unnecessary damage!

My mom is a Yui fan so when I go out with her I bring Yui along with me. She even said she wanted her own one! It made me kind of happy 😛
It just made me wonder how many Nendoroid fans are made through situations like that…

Hello Mikatan!

I just saw something really wonderful~
At about 3 o’clock today, the Earth was as close to the Moon as possible! It looked so big! Apparently this only happens once every 18 years!
I decided that Flandre was the most appropriate for the moon, so I took her out onto the veranda for some quick photography! It was really cold though, so I didn’t stay long. ^^;
The picture was taken on a mini digital camera, so unfortunately this was the best lighting balance I could get. I’m sure those with nicer cameras would have grabbed a much niver picture, but I personally loved this anyway, so I decided to send it through to you.

Spring really is the season of flowers… thus during Golden Week I decided to go out with Miku-san to take a look at the Spring flowers – Miku looked so cute with the flowers, it made me feel all warm and happy inside. I wanted to share the feeling, so I thought I’d send you a photo!

Good Smile’s figures are always so cute and awesome that I’m buying too many… I’m running out of space on my shelves!

I must say that one of the figures that I really want as a female collector is Kaito-nii-san! Apparently there is going to be an append version of him, so I hope I can grab him then. I also hope we can see a big scale figure of Kaito one day as well! I’ll be waiting to put my order in!

Hi there, I’m a relatively new reader that just recently got into Nendoroids – at the moment I only have one – Kirino Kousaka, but I do have Kuroneko on order and I’m sure I’ll be picking up more soon.

I live alone in a one-room apartment, so I really don’t have much space to display figures, but for now I’m displaying them on the corners of my bed – Nendoroids really are the perfect size to fit there, where a normal scale figure would just fall off. It’s really impressive looking at the photography that some people take of their figures… and yet I’m having trouble just finding a way to display them. ^^;

I hope to see some more Sora no Otoshimono Nendoroids coming soon, like Nymph and Astraea!

A little while ago at Lawson’s K-ON! Fair, there was a Lawson & TBS Limited Edition Nendoroid Petite set featuring Yui, Mio and Azusa – and as stated on your blog, it included stands for five characters.

My question is, are there any plans to create Nendoroid Petites of Mugi and Ritsu to complete this set? Or did I perhaps miss the time they were on sale? I can’t bear not completing the collection!

Unfortunately product line-ups are forced to change sometimes…
There are no plans to make the other two at this stage…

The original intention of including the five stands with the set was so that you could display other Nendoroid Petites with the three girls – from the other set of K-ON Petite Nendos!

I am really impressed with Good Smile’s charity products.
I live near Tokyo, so I did feel the earthquake, but there were no long-term effects on my side. (Although I did lose a few figures in the incident.)

On the other hand, those up North near the coast suffered incredibly. I don’t think there is any way to experience what those people are going through at the moment. We can look at the destruction on the TV and internet, but at the same time we are all just continuing our normal lives – which I for one am very glad for. I know there are not many people who will go out and volunteer to help, so it’s great to be able to give in some donations via Good Smile.

Hi there. I am a Nendoroid newbie – I started collecting about one and a half years ago.

When I think about the people who live near the epicentre of the recent earthquake, I can’t help but think about how much trouble they must be going through now.  I think that figure collectors really suffered during this disaster – I do wonder how many Nendoroids were lost during the quake.

The region I live in was struck my the tsunami, almost washing my house away with it, along with my favorite place to take photos with Hachune Miku. Fortunately my family was able to escape the tsunami, and the house was left, albeit not in a very good state – there were power outages for a few days and a gas shortage, but thinks have started calming down now, so I decided to send a mail through to you.

Taking a look at my Nendoroid collection broken up and covered in scratches… I almost burst out crying. I had been collecting Nendoroids even before I was married – they were like special memories to me, and I don’t have the will to buy them all again – I am simply going to keep the scratched up versions and love them as I always have. It’s amazing how much happiness can come from playing with Nendoroids for a little bit.

I have recived lots of mail relating to the disaster, and I’ve carefully read each and every one of them. As a fellow figure lover, I really feel sorry for those who lost their beloved figures in the disaster, such as Mokosuta.

I hope that we can make some new figures that you like in order to build up a collection once more!

I have a KAITO Nendoroid that I absolutely adore, and when I woke up this morning, I noticed his neck was broken off…
Luckily I also had a spare version I picked up at the same time, but it’s a tad sad to just throw away a figure I’ve spent so much time with…

That’s when I remembered the D.I.Y figure repair tutorials you put up on the blog, grabbed some tools and started the surgery! It really was such a simple task – even a girl like me could do it – KAITO is just fine and back to normal! Now I can keep my beloved original KAITO by my side a little bit longer!

I am writing to thank you for the figure repair tutorials that you put up a while ago!
I was thinking of just fixing it using glue at first, but then I saw the joint repair tutorial you put up on the 25th March using a brass wire to strengthen the joint, and decided to give it a try. I was really scared when I was creating the hole with the pin vice, but it ended up a lot easier than I expected!

Next up I hope we can get a tutorial on some way of stopping them falling down in the first place! I want to protect my cute daughters!

Hello! I’m a second year female high school as of this April!
I’ve become addicted to Nendoroids from about two months ago, and I never knew until now that you had a letter corner!
I was reading through all the old entires and found them to really interesting – but I thought the corner had already ended!

At first I always used to collect figma and big figures, but I always thought that Nendoroids seemed expensive for their size – but when I found the Love Plus Manaka Nendoroid I just had to get her. That’s when I found out how cute they are! In just a short time I’ve quickly amassed a small collection of 18 Nendor- I mean wives. I also have Totori, and three Snow Mikus on order! Plus I will get Nendoroid Cirno no matter what!

I am a fifteen year old girl who has been collecting figures for one year now.

I was just admiring how awesome the White Rock Shooter figma that will be included with the limited edition of the BRS game looks. I kind of hope we can see a scale figure of it produced as well. On that note I’d also love to see more scale figures of the Touhou characters. (With cast-off please! :P)
I hope you’ll at least take it into consideration.

I also have a question – what is your favorite figure, Mikatan? I’ve always wondered…
My favorite figure… well there are just too many…. but if I absolutely had to pick one, it would be the BRS scale figure: Original ver, I think. The details are simply outstanding. I wish I could make figures like that.

I noticed some of the most recent figures are made using 3DCG which is incredible, but I was just wondering – are the prototype figures generally made by hand?
I’d love to see what kind of tools the pros use when sculpting figures!!

A lot of the sculpting starts off digitally now, but the final touches always require some manual work by the sculptors!

The cheerful cherry blossoms!

Today we’ll be going into part 2 of Kuroyagi-san’s letter corner: Cherry Blossom Ver.!

Thank you for all the letters sent in! It makes me so happy to see everyone’s beautiful photos!
I had to pick out my favorites, but there were a lot more that were absolutely stunning! I really am grateful for every picture, and I’m sorry if I didn’t pick yours for the blog!

Once again though, remember to take care of mother nature when doing outdoor photography!

This is my very first attempt at outdoor Nendo photography, it was a rather thrilling experience!
But it was a lot of fun, and I’m sure I’ll do it again. These cherry blossoms were taken beside a lake as well as some others by a temple in Kyoto.

A few days ago, I went out with some friends to take some outdoor figure photos of the blossoms at a park here in Shanghai. They were not quite in full bloom yet, but there were a lot of trees. Everyone brought along their favorite figures and had a great day!

A picture from overseas!

It really looks like she is looking at the blossoms! I’ve been getting a load of pictures from overseas recently – I’m quite surprised at how many! Plus they are really nice photos! I have to try harder myself now! 😛

I decided to try something a little different, so I took some blossoms home with me and scattered them around my World is Mine Miku. It’s not quite the same as the normal cherry blossom photos, but I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway!

When you create a theme like this one it’s weird how Miku’s blushing face can seem a lot sadder all of a sudden. I look forward to when they meet again next year!

The other day my sister and I went to view the cherry blossoms nearby with some Nendoroids! They were not quite in full bloom yet, but they were still pretty! Seen it was close to where Haruhi was set, I took her out to see the famous blossoms in Kawabe. She seems to be enjoying the view!

Haru-chan arrived just in time for the cherry blossoms, so as soon as she got to me I took her out for some photos. The pictures are taken in a lovely place that only locals know about, so I could relax and take some nice pictures!

Sakura is the Japanese word for ‘cherry blossoms’ so this just seems perfect! I was sure at least one person would send a picture like this! 😛

The blossoms have finally bloomed down where I live!
My little brother helped out as an assistant for the photo – I took the photo while he held Senjougahara by the legs. It was a carefully posed so that the stapler was hidden behind the flower!

I took some cherry blossom photos. It was just after some rain so I was worried they would all have fallen off the trees, but luckily they were all still blooming! Mato-chan also seems to be enjoying herself… I want a Yomi figma to put beside her!

The picture gives such a nice relaxed atmosphere, I feel relaxed just by looking at it! The little green leaves in the picture and keeping to Mato’s personality only makes it better! Good job!

These pictures were taken on the 5th around Oosaka castle. It was my first attempt at outdoor photography, and it was more difficult than I expected! Getting the figure into a position where they suit the background, and getting the timing of the sun’s light right was quite tough!

Luckily I went on a weekday where there weren’t too many people watching me. 😛

Spring has sprung!

The cherry blossoms are here!

Here is Matsudo the blossoms have already bloomed and started scattering all over, but I’m sure there are still other places around Japan where they have not yet bloomed. It reminds me that no matter what happens to the world each day, there are some things that will always continue to happen, no matter the circumstances.

We now move on to a post that just has to come along every year now…
Kuroyagi-san’s Letter Corner – Cherry Blossom Ver.!

Today I’ll be posting as many of the photos that I can… up until the ones I received after April 12th – Thanks to everyone who sent in photos!

To everyone taking outdoor photos, remember to look out for nature!
I’m sure you’re all as careful as possible… but just be sure not to harm and flowers or trees while taking outdoor pictures!

The other day I went to view the cherry blossoms at our local temple with Nendoroid Date Masamune!
See him proudly riding his favorite steed! The Alpaca really seems to suit scenes with cherry blossoms, and placing Date on him just seemed like the ideal match! 😛

Yesterday I went with some friends to a botanical garden in Shanghai to view the cherry blossoms!

The cherry blossoms are blooming so I headed out to a riverbank with Snow Miku in search of Spring.
They really had only just started blooming, but Miku was really exited to see the start of Spring, as if she herself were just blooming!
She also told me “I need to go back to the land of snow, but wish everyone well for the rest of the year!”

One of the things about the changing seasons in Japan is that you can really see the change in colors when the seasons change! I think that’s great!

I went out to see the cherry blossoms with Yutaka-chan♪
As always they were a stunning sight to see! ♪
It made me feel all warm and happy inside! ♪

I can’t decide which I would rather look at… the beautiful blossoms or the adorable Yuraka! 😛

I went out to view the blossoms at Ueno Park with Nadeko yesterday.
I wanted to try and get both Nadeko and the blossoms  to come out nicely but it didn’t come out too well, so I just sent my photo of Nadeko and a blurry image of the blossoms behind her. Enjoy!

You can tell they are cherry blossoms!
Nadeko usually has an Autumn feeling about her, so it’s nice to see a change to Spring once in awhile!

My first ever outdoor Nendoroid photography!
There photos were taken at a place called Kinchakuda, where the Cosmos flowers are absolutely stunning in Autumn. (●´ω｀●)
But of course in Spring the cherry blossoms are just as beautiful, so I went out with my mother, sister and Nendo Reimu to enjoy them!

Reimu looks more relaxed than ever!
Cherry blossoms and Reimu really do suit each other very nicely, and that expression just completes the effect!

I took some cherry blossom pictures, and here they are!
There were taken on the 10th April when I went out with Octo-Luka. At the time only about half the blossoms had bloomed. I’ll be sure to come back for more pictures when they are in full bloom!

Nah, I can tell that’s Octo-Luka! Your disguise has failed this time! ^^

The cherry blossoms seemed like they were going to be late this year, and then suddenly bloomed.
I took my favorite Nendoroid Precia out with me to a nearby park to view the blossoms, I sat down on a bench nearby and before I could enjoy the blossoms I saw a couple flirting with each other.

Just then I looked up and heard “What’s the matter?”, as Precia saw me looking a little upset.

At least, that’s what I imagined when I took this photo!

Nendoroid Date Masamune was just recently released and so I decide to take some pictures with him and the cherry blossoms. It’s my first attempt at outdoor Nendoroid photography. The eyepatch is an extra I did by myself.

The blossoms were only half blooming, unfortunately.

I love seeing people customize their figures with things like eyepatches – it really shows your love for the figures!! I hope you’ll try taking more photos outdoors for next time!

As I read that above quote, I literally heard it in a Tachikoma voice in my head 😛
It almost looks like he is reaching out to grab one of the blossoms!
