Nendoroid Miho Nishizumi: Panzer Jacket & Peacoat Ver. (GIRLS und PANZER das Finale)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Miho Nishizumi: Panzer Jacket & Peacoat Ver.!

From the anime movie series “GIRLS und PANZER das Finale” comes a Nendoroid of the Ankou Team’s captain, Miho Nishizumi wearing her panzer jacket! She comes with both a gentle smiling face plate as well as an blushing face plate for an embarrassed appearance, and her hair features a completely new sculpt!

Optional parts include Miho’s headset, her beloved “Beaten Up Boko” teddy bear as well as an alternate upper body part to display her wearing the Oarai Girls High School peacoat. Be sure to display her with the other previously released Ankou team Nendoroids and Panzer Vor!!

“Panzer Vor!!”

The very first movie in a series of movies titled “GIRLS und PANZER das Finale” will be showing in theatres in Japan from the 9th December 2017! The main character of the series, Miho Nishizumi has been transformed into an all new Nendoroid for fans to enjoy in their collection! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

If we look close you can see the detail put into the headset, and even the pockets of her jacket! ♪

On the back of her jacket is the Ankou team’s logo!

▲ The shape of her hairstyle has also been captured nicely!

This time around her beloved teddy bear “Beaten Up Boko” is also included! ♥

▲ The bandages are so very intricate!

▲ The head is attached with a ball joint to change the direction he is facing! ♪

Miho comes with a special set of arms that can be used to hold Boko, as well as a cute expression with rosy cheeks to show just how much she loves him!!

She looks so happy!! (´□｀｡)

Finally, as you may have guessed based on the product name…

She also comes with the Oarai Girls High School peacoat as an alternate body!

Nendoroid Asato Miyo (Little Armory)

It’s starting to get a little cooler now! We have moved into the season of oden and chilled Chinese noodles! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at an item currently up for preorder…

Nendoroid Asato Miyo!★

From TOMYTEC’s popular 1/12th scale series of miniature guns, “Little Armory” comes a Nendoroid of one of the series characters – Asato Miyo! She comes with three face plates including a composed expression based on the box art of the original kit, a combat expression perfect for battle scenes as well as a crying face to show the cuter side of her personality.

Nendoroid-sized preassembled versions of the Carbine Rifle and Handgun Little Armory weapons are also included for her to wield. The handgun can also be holstered in the holster on her hips, and effect parts to display her firing the guns are also included to create heated shoot-out scenes!

The packaging for the figure will also include a background sheet with chibi-sized target dummies, which can be cut out and used together with the included effect parts to pose Asato training at the range!

Guns x Combat x High School Girls

From the Little Armory series comes a Nendoroid of one of the tactical high school girls from the series: Asato Miyo! The cute purple color scheme of her design and the impressive details of her equipment look great even in Nendoroid size! ♪

So much detail on such a small figure!

It’s always so amazing to see such intricate design on a chibi-sized figure! Be sure to take a nice close look if you decide to pick her up! ♪

And I’m not just talking about the gun – also note the pleats of her skirt, the gold buttons on the blazer and her lovely bob-cut hairstyle!

For those who are unaware, the Little Armory series is a set of 1/12th scale plastic model kits of various weapons that can be put together and displayed with figures! You can find a listing of the various products in the series here! But let’s get back to the Nendoroid! ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

Along with the composed face plate above…

She also comes with a combat expression!

The sharp eyes and shouting mouth make her suddenly look much more imposing and ready for combat! In the photo above you can also see the muzzle flash and impact effect parts that are included to pose her shooting! (っ’ω’)っ))

The chibi target dummies are included as a print out that is a part of the box packaging! They can be cut out and folded just like above in order to pose Miyo testing her shooting skills at the shooting range! ★

Last but not least, she also comes with a crying face plate!

The contrast between the first two expressions and this one is amazing! Definitely the ideal face plate for some cuter scenes!

If you use this face plate together with the practise dummies it makes for a completely different scene compared to when she had the combat face! ★

The figure allows for all sorts of fun and interesting situations! Be sure to find your favorite pose and enjoy the tactical high school girl by your side! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Izuminokami Kanesada (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the figure made in collaboration between Sentinel and ORANGE ROUGE…

The 1/8th Scale Figure…
Izuminokami Kanesada!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Izuminokami Kanesada based on his standard standing illustration from the game! His calm and confident expression that can be seen through his beautiful long black hair, his beautiful red and gold kimono and all the other details of Izuminokami’s design have been faithfully preserved on the figure, creating an item filled with charm for fans to enjoy by their side! Be sure to add him to your collection!

The sword said to be well-used by shinsengumi vice leader, Hijikata Toshizo: Izuminokami Kanesada has been transformed into a beautiful scale figure!

The various striped colors all over his outfit, his long silky hair and that confident straight-forward gaze have all been captured on the figure!

From the back you can enjoy his lovely long hair and the sheathe of his sword poking out from his haori jacket!

The way the various layers of his outfit have been sculpted also looks amazing, the the textures of the different parts of the outfit have all been painted separately! ♪

The boots peeking out at the bottom even have a shiny leather-like finish!

The way it has been sculpted also hows how nice and firm the boots are!

The area around his hips is also packed with details!

▲ Plus just look at that beautiful hand!

Next let’s take a closer look at his facial expression! The impression you get from the figure differs quite vastly depending on whether you match his gaze or instead have him looking to the side! You’ll need to play around with some angles until he fits best in your collection! ♪

If you look close you can also see his earrings peeking through the gaps in his hair!  ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑ ｸﾞｯ !

Nendoroid Heiji Hattori (Detective Conan)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Heiji Hattori!

From the popular anime series “Detective Conan” comes a Nendoroid of the high school detective from Osaka, Heiji Hattori! He comes with three face plates including a confident standard expression, a serious expression as well as an embarrassed expression. The Nendoroid comes complete with a bamboo sword and handcuffs as accessories! Be sure to enjoy various different poses with Heiji in adorable Nendoroid size!

“My name is Heiji Hattori!! A high school detective just like Kudo!”

From the anime series that has been loved by old and young for many years “Detective Conan” comes a Nendoroid of Shinichi Kudo’s rival who hates losing, Heiji Hattori!

He has been sculpted wearing his iconic baseball cap, but if you look close you’ll that his hairstyle has also been preserved for all the areas that are visible!

▲From the back you get a good feel for the slack look of the cap!

Anyway, let’s move on to his optional parts! ♪

First up he comes with handcuffs!

The chain part makes use of a real chain allowing them to easily be used in all sorts of different poses!

Mei Irizaki: Swimsuit Ver. (High School Fleet)

I am a terrible swimmer and still depend on a swimming ring in order to swim safely. I’ve seen there are some rather photogenic swimming rings made to look like sea shells available recently… maybe I should invest in one!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this item currently up for preorder…
Mei Irizaki: Swimsuit Ver.!★

From the popular anime series “High School Fleet” comes a 1/8th scale figure of the Harukaze’s Chief Torpedo Officer, Mei Irizaki! She is posed in an energetic original pose that suits her cheerful personality wearing the swimsuit seen in episode 7 of the anime series. The polka-dot section of her outfit can be removed to display her wearing just her bikini!

The belligerent torpedo officer of the Harukaze who can’t stand losing, Mei Irizaki has been transformed into a scale figure! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The shiny appearance of the inflatable torpedo has been captured so nicely, as well as the way it has been squished down where her arm is holding on to it!

Her cute ponytail has been sculpted in lovely detail even from the back, with each of the hair strands carefully sculpted and painted!

The polka-dot clothes she is wearing over her swimsuit has been sculpted with a nice dynamic feel that matches with the pose of her dashing forward!

Also note the big splash at her feet! ★

You can also see the cat-ear hood that makes up a part of her outfit! ♡

I love the way the polka-dot dress is slipping off her right shoulder!

But this item also comes with a special option!
You can change her outfit!

Or to be more precise, you can choose to remove the outer garment and display her just wearing her cute orange swimsuit! This gives you a much closer look at her lovely white skin and slender curves!

Nendoroid Cobra (HIGH&LOW g-sword)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Cobra!

“HIGH&LOW g-sword” brings out the atmosphere of HIGH&LOW with cute illustrations by CLAMP, and from that series comes a Nendoroid of the Sannoh Hoodlum Squad’s Cobra! He comes with two face plates including a confident standard expression as well as a serious expression he often shows while in fights. The Nendoroid also includes his red scarf and a selection of interchangeable hand and leg parts allowing for all sorts of poses to enjoy!

“This fight will mean life or death.”

From HiGH＆LOW g-sword comes a Nendoroid of the Sannoh Hoodlum Squad’s Cobra!! The outfit he is wearing is based on the outfit seen on the poster for the movie “HiGH&LOW THE MOVIE 2 / END OF SKY”! His hairstyle has also been faithfully captured in lovely detail – note that the area closest to his head has a black gradient!

His hair looks lovely and silky from the back, and the fierce looking tiger on the back of his jacket and even his pants have all been faithfully converted into Nendoroid size!

If you look up close you will notice there are also tigers on the front of his jacket too! How can they look so fierce and so cute at the same time! (*´ｪ`*)

What is HiGH＆LOW?

An original entertainment project from EXILE TRIBE which includes a TV drama, movies, manga, net broadcasts, music, live tours, social network campaigns, flash animations and more!

As you can see the project is provided through all sorts of different media!

I really don’t think I can explain the series all that well myself, so I’m going to borrow the official cast and story explanation video to do a better job! It should give you a good feeling for the atmosphere around the series!

But what is HiGH＆LOW g-sword?

g-sword captures the spirit of the HiGH＆LOW but is transformed into a much cuter looking manga by the authors of Card Captor Sakura, CLAMP! The series is serialized in Weekly Shounen Magazine and the manga volume scheduled to released in 17th October also comes with a DVD featuring flash animations of the series.

Anyway, let’s get back to the Nendoroid!
Along with the standard confident standard expression above…

He also comes with a serious expression for combat scenes!

Together with the bent arm and fist parts you can even pose him wiping his mouth like above! In addition, he also comes with the red scarf! ★

Cobra is known to use his scarf for various combat techniques in the middle of fights! You can enjoy that element of him with the Nendoroid too!

The scarf can also simply be placed around his neck like the photo below!

I’m quite sure that quite a lot of newcomers to Nendoroids might decide to pick this one up, so we’ve made him relatively simply and easy to put on display! He comes with various different arm and leg parts that can quickly be switched out to give him a different pose! ☆

In addition, most parts of Nendoroids can be used with other Nendoroid characters for even more posing opportunities!

If you do choose to preorder it will be a little while before he arrives at your home, but once he does you’ll be able to enjoy him in all sorts of different poses! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

HiGH＆LOW has many more charming characters that I would love to see join the Nendoroid series together with Cobra! I hope I’ll get the chance to work on some more characters!! (only time will tell!)

Tori Bird is a member of out planning team! His first project was in fact not a Nendoroid but a Nendoroid Plus!! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

Tori Bird: Yep! Back then I didn’t understand anything about the process of making figures, it was a lot to learn and I still thank everyone for bearing with me while I learnt all the finer details!

Coming into the industry without really knowing the ropes makes things rather difficult!

Tori Bird: There are a lot of things that need to be considered when planning a figure – things like trying to keep costs down based on the way of sculpting and methods of painting! After that project I started working on a Nendoroid and remember trying my best to keep the manufacturing process in mind. For the past few years I in fact moved to the Lucky Factory in Tottori as a member of the manufacturing team, and have since become much more informed!

And now you’ve come back and rejoined the planning team! One item you are working on is the Robobo Armor mentioned above… is there anything else you want to talk about?

Tori Bird: I’m in fact working on an all new challenge!! But we’re still in the rather early stages, so I can’t say much else right now! Stay tuned!

A new challenge? That sounds rather interesting! I look forward to hearing more!

Is there anything specific you do when recording the videos?

Tori Bird: I always try to keep my reactions to the projects as genuine as possible! I want those watching the video to feel the emotions I am feeling when they watch!

When I came to take photos I noticed you didn’t have any script or anything! (；・`ω・´）

Tori Bird: That’s right! While I do confirm any important parts about the figures with the planners beforehand, we don’t have any specific script or preparation. We simply look at the figures while taking an honest look at the important details!

How about when editing?

Tori Bird edits his own videos! Both the main actor and the main editor!

Tori Bird: I do have help from the WEB team’s yα-tomo when recording the video in terms of camera work, but I do all the editing myself!

Tori Bird: We have a lot of tools to send new info out on the web – Facebook, Twitter, even this blog. But we wanted to try and add another layer to the promotion with videos, which is why we started this YouTube project.

There are around 3-4 videos each month, but do you have a favorite?

Tori Bird: My personal best so far was the review we did of the Nendoroid Face Maker website!

Is there any other project you want to make a video of?

Tori Bird: I would love to do a video that takes a look around Lucky Factory! I was there for awhile and did have the chance to take a look around during a live broadcast, but I would love to show everyone how exactly the figures are made in the factory! I’m not sure if there is demand for that though!

I think that’s a great idea! Tori Bird’s guided tour of the factory!! I look forward to it and many more videos in the future!
