Koume Shirasaka: Halloween Nightmare Ver. (THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS)

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe) from the Corporate Planning Division here! The world may be heading into Christmas mode now, but that is exactly why I’m going to take a step back and instead take a look at this Halloween themed figure instead!!

Up for preorder as of today is this 1/7th scale figure from Max Factory…

Koume Shirasaka: Halloween Nightmare Ver.

“Today… we sing a chorus of fear together!”

From the idol production game ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a 1/7th scale figure of Koume Shirasaka. The figure is based on the ‘Halloween Nightmare’ version of Koume and faithfully captures her pose and outfit from the original illustration. The details on her outfit such as the spider-web patterns on her sleeves, the various bandages wrapped around her arms and legs as well as the skull-shaped microphone she holds in hand have all been faithfully recreated in figure form!

The figure also comes complete with a diorama base that brings out the graveyard atmosphere of the original illustration with cute little ghosts floating around Koume-chan and zombie hands reaching from the ground!! Be sure to have a great Halloween night with Koume-chan as she smiles atop a gravestone in your figure collection!

▼Let’s start off with a 360° Turn!

So many details to see! I can’t wait to take a look at Koume-chan herself… but before that let’s take a look at the detailed Halloween base! (`・ω・´)

▼ The gradient coloring of the fence is magnificent!

Looking at the figure from the back the coloring of the base really stands out! The lovely hips of Koume-chan as she sits on the gravestone is calling for a closeup but we’ll get to that later!

▼ The areas that couldn’t be seen on the card have been carefully thought out and added to the figure!

The cold, stone appearance of the gravestone has been faithfully presented and the carved letters and damage on the design has also been included on the figure!

▼ The ground features a jack-o-lantern and zombie hands!

▼ We also have a charming little ghost with his hand sticking out! ♥

No matter where you look the details surrounding Koume-chan are amazing! ♥

▼ We also have a ghost attached to a drip and a skeleton biting down on a medical chart! So cute!

The little details that bring out the ‘hospital’ theme together with the mixed in Halloween theme make for such a unique and playful figure!

▼Speaking of the medical drip, the microphone Koume-chan is using is connected with a cord that looks like one of the see-through tubes used for a drip!

As you can see the base itself is a work of art, but now it’s time to look at the main feature herself! (`・ω・´)

▼ Just look at this fantastic outfit!

The little skull faces all over the design match up with the base nicely, and even though she is covered in bandages there is still something so charming and cute about her!

▼ The intricate details on those sleeves!

The spiderweb and bloodstain patterns on the sleeves together with the gradient coloring make for a stunning sight!

▼Looking from the front makes her look like her normal cute self from the illustration!

▼ But from the side you can see her right eye too! Not to mention she was winking the whole time!!

▼ The lovely pale skin revealed by her low-cut dress is a treat!

▼ Not to mention the curves of her bottom and hips as she sits on the gravestone! Not to be missed!

In fact, there is nothing that should be missed on this Koume-chan figure! Everyone should add her to their collections!! ♡

Nendoroid You Watanabe (LoveLive! Sunshine!!)

Hello everyone!! Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

Sometimes I get this uncontrollable urge to eat a hamburger… like right now! I’m really hungry… *nom* (๑´ㅂ`๑) *nom*!

Today we’re going to be taking a look at an idol who also likes hamburgers!
Nendoroid You Watanabe!

From the anime series ‘LoveLive! Sunshine!!’ comes a Nendoroid of the Aqours member You Watanabe wearing her outfit from the song ‘Aozora Jumping Heart’! She comes with both a standard expression as well as a playful winking expression with a big smile that shows her teeth, and she also comes with glasses parts which can be worn for a quick change of style!

A selection of different parts are also included which allow you to pose her in different dance poses from the opening theme of the anime series! Be sure to enjoy her together with the other members of Aqours! ♪

“All aboard!! Full speed ahead!!”

She dreams to one day follow in her father’s footsteps and become the captain of a ferry, and also has a talent for high diving which is good enough at it to qualify for the national team – but for now she is trying her best as an idol in the Aquors idol group! the cute and energetic You Watanabe is joining the Nendoroid series! ♥

Her sailor-style outfit from the song ‘Aozora Jumping Heart’ has been sculpted in lovely detail – the accessories on the front, her earrings, puffy shorts and the frills on the hem all look lovely!

The wavy appearance of her hair has also been very faithfully converted into Nendoroid size! Even from the back you can tell it is You-chan just based on the hairstyle! ♪

She comes with two face plates, the first of which is the gentle expression above and the second is this adorable winking smile!

She also comes with a selection of parts to create her poses from the opening theme, such as the pointing pose above! (∩・∀・)∩

While the Nendoroid is based on her idol outfit, that doesn’t mean that she can’t wear she glasses and be displayed a bit more in home-mode!! It suits her so well after all – it’s actually quite amazing how different the expressions look when you add the glasses to them! ♪

You can create a kind of a kitty-like pose with glasses!!

DIY Nendoroid Repairs Part 2: Cleaning Dirt and Stickiness off Figures

Hello everyone! My name is Hou-san, one of the 2016 newcomers to GSC!!

Recently I’ve had a lot more opportunities to head outside with Nendoroids and take photos! Heading out the house and posing figures to take photos with the beautiful scenery outside can be very rewarding and a lot of fun!

The problem is… when you play around with figures outside it is much easier for them to get dirty!! Today I’m going to be taking a look at some simple techniques you can use to keep your Nendoroids and other figures clean!

▲ I’ll be using this Nendoroid Face Parts Case: Bunny as my example!

What should you do when your previous Nendoroids end up like this?!

▲ White figures like this mean that the dirt really stands out!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a couple of possible methods to try when trying to clean dirt marks and stickiness from your figures!

Please note that this blog is simply introducing a few possible methods to clean figures! If you choose to make use of these methods you do so at your own risk!

· Using an Air Duster (Compressed Air)
· Using a Rubber Eraser
· Using a Copic Modeler #0 (Colorless Blender)
· Using a Neutral Detergent
· Using Scouring Cream

★ Using an Air Duster

When you want to try and clean away unwanted dust and dirt from a figure, air dusters are ideal for a quick, easy and safe clean! You can even get to those rather hard to each areas if the air duster has a extension piece!

★ Using a Rubber Eraser

Rubber erasers are a great way to clear away dirty marks from areas that are not painted. This is just a standard pencil eraser – simply rub away on the dirt and it will often clear it up nicely. This method is not recommended on areas that are painted, as it may rub the paint off the figure!

★ Using a Copic Modeler #0

There are a lot of marks that can be removed from figures by making use of a ‘Colorless Blender’ like the Copic Modeler #0!

You can touch up the figure with the pen directly, or if you want to be a little more accurate you can put some of the colorless blender on a cotton swab and then make use of that!

This will also clear away dirt on painted areas, but you run the risk of pulling the paint off together with the dirt, so once again this method is best for unpainted areas of figures!

The above methods deal with general dust and dirt… but another common problem with figures is that once they have been in your collection for awhile they tend to become kind of sticky! What can we do about that?

★ Using a Neutral Detergent

Also see this previous blog written by Mikatan-sensei for a more in-depth look: Dealing with Stickiness on Figures!

The material figures are made from unfortunately do over time become a little sticky to the touch. What exactly causes this stickiness?

▲ A face plate with a bit of a sticky composition.

This stickiness is caused by the plasticizing agent that is is used in the materials of the figure. This plasticizer is added to the PVC (the main material used in figures) in order to make it softer – the more mixed in with the PVC, the softer and more flexible it becomes.

However, over time this plasticizing agent vaporizes and then sticks to the surface of the figure which creates a sticky layer! This stickiness occurs much faster when the plasticizing agent has nowhere to go – such as when you store a figure in the blister packaging and not out in the open.

The best way to clean this stickiness is with a neutral detergent! In most cases the standard dish-washing soap you use at home will do the trick!

Don’t use a sponge – the rough surface may cause unwanted scratches and damage to the figure! Simply gently clean the figure with your hands and the washing liquid!

After gently rubbing the figure clean, dry the figure with a soft cloth! Try to avoid tissues or paper towel as in the case there is still some stickiness remaining the tissue can get stuck to the figure and cause some unwanted problems! If after this the figure is still sticky, try soaking it in the same neutral detergent for a few hours and then cleaning it once again – this will normally get most figures free from stickiness!

★ Using Scouring Cream

If all else fails and you really want to get rid of the stickiness, this is your best bet! Scouring cream or liquid is a weak alkaline cleaning agent that contains abrasives such as silica minerals to clean tableware and metalware. It is very effective at removing the stickiness from figures!

However, as the name suggests there are abrasives in scouring cream which can very easily damage your figures as you are trying to clean them. Glossy parts on figures may also lose their shiny appearance after the use of scouring cream so always be careful! It’s best to first test on an area that can’t be seen too easily just in case! (Also do not try to use scouring powder, as it will almost always do more harm than good!)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at WING’s latest figma product!

figma Masaru Hananakajima!

From Kyosuke Usuta’s legendary anime series ‘Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san’ comes a figma of the main character Masaru Hananakajima!

Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
He comes with three face plates including a smiling face, a shouting expression with sparkling eyes and a winking expression to recreate his ‘want you’ pose!
The mascot character from the series ‘Meso’ is included and a drink can together with spraying effect parts are also included.
He also comes with alternate ‘trendy’ back hair parts as well as special parts to pose him with his zipper open to recreate various scenes from the series.
Careful attention has been given to all the finer details of the figure including the print on his shoes.
An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

From the masterpiece comedy manga ‘Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san’ comes a figma of the head of the Sexy Commando Club at Wakame High – Masaru Hananakajima! ♪

Masaru-san’s unique hairstyle looks great converted into figma size!

His collarbone and abs have also been carefully sculpted allowing fans to enjoy his sexy, fit body whenever they please with the figma!

The golden circles on his shoulders have also been nicely sculpted. together with his tight tucked-in shirt! But perhaps the most impressive detail is put into the print on the shoes!!

But the figma aims to recreate more than just Masaru-san’s appearance! He comes with special articulation to recreate all sorts of scenes from the series!! For example…

Bumping into someone’s shoulder at a 30° angle makes for the elegant yet jaunty ‘WANT YOU’ move! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

The playful winking expression just adds to the effect! You can’t be angry with that face!

I am using the figma archetype next:he GSC 15th anniversary color ver. as an example here, but you can of course recreate all sorts of WANT YOU scenes with your own figma collection! I look forward to seeing the photos!

The pose that how off the impulsive yet empty feeling of youth can also be recreated!!

A special alternate hair part is also included to complete this trendy pose! The alternate hair also looks quite nice from the front which you can see here!

Ah! As you probably noticed in the photo above, the figma also comes with the mascot-like character from the series – Meso! (*´ｪ`*)

The ultimate technique: Sexy Commando!!

To think you can recreate the open zipper pose with a figma!! Not to mention the glowing eyes and the shouting mouth to complete the completely indescribable scene!! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

The above can be done by making use of this interchangeable pants part! ♪

The parts are all made with a soft, flexible plastic which still ensures that you can easily pose him in all sorts of different ways! You will need to remove his legs to swap out this part though! ★

Last but not least…

The image from the very first photo! Those who do not know the series may be slightly confused, but this isn’t what you think it is!! This is to recreate the scene where Masaru-san shakes a bottle and them opens it up with his back turned like above!! ★

If you’re wondering how I got him to hold the paper up, I made use of the opened out fingers used for the trendy pose and folding the top of the paper around this thumbs!! I think it worked out quite nicely!

The amount of poses you can make are only limited by your imagination! Be sure to add the charming Masaru-san to your collection!!

Nendoroid Rena (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars)

I can’t believe how much warmer it is this week compared to last week! These sudden jumps in temperature are sure to cause a lot of people to get sick… be sure to take care of yourselves in this erratic weather!

Nendoroid Rena!

From the popular anime series ‘Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars’ comes a Nendoroid of Rena! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a smiling expression and a combat expression.

Optional parts include her smartphone with its cute case, Alecto transformation effect parts that include the Regalia key, a special base made to look like the inside of the Alecto as well as a magic circle effect plate. The various parts allow you to display Rena in various situations from everyday scenes to combat scenes, so be sure to add her to your collection!

“I’ll protect Yui.”

From Actas’s original mecha anime ‘Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars’ comes a Nendoroid of the young girl who is always there to protect Yui – Rena! The curls on the ends of her cute twin-tailed hair, the ribbon that ties on her poncho and the lovely frilly outfit… Rena has been beautifully captured in Nendoroid size! ♡

▲ The twin-tails connect with a ball joint allowing them to be moved around for slightly different nuances!

Her standard expression is the rather blank expression you can see in the photos above, but she also comes with the adorable smiling expression she would often show when together with Yui! (*´ｪ`*)

As you can see she also comes with her smartphone in its cute cat-shaped cover! Just looking at her smile makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

But perhaps the most memorable scenes of Rena were her combat scenes! She also comes with a confident combat expression to recreate that side of her as well! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Plus as you’ve probably noticed she comes with a sharp, metallic looking base based on the inside of Alecto! ★

Which can be used together with this magic circle effect plate…

Plus she also comes with Alecto transformation effect parts allowing for even more display opportunities! ♪

Plus if we look on the reverse side of this you’ll notice that the Regalia key is also included in the parts!

Her poncho comes in two different versions – one standard version and a special version for posing her with one arm up!

In addition, the poncho can also be completely removed allowing you to pose her with a slightly different look altogether! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

With the selection of expressions as well as the various little accessories and parts you can recreate all sorts of different scenes for Rena, or create your very own original scenes!☆

Nendoroid Yamanbagiri Kunihiro (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Greetings everyone! I have recently discovered that wrapping up one’s face is very useful for stopping the cold! Chan-shuu from Good Smile Company’s planning team here! (@gscs_hirase)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the most recent addition to ORANGE ROUGE’s Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- Nendoroid line-up…

Nendoroid Yamambagiri Kunihiro!

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the powerful sword who thinks too little of himself – Yamambagiri Kunihiro!

He comes with three face plates including his standard expression, a combat expression as well as an embarrassed expression based on his line “Don’t call me pretty!”. Additionally, his sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing for various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“I… am no fake.”

The uchigatana that is more than strong enough but has a bit of a self-esteem issue is joining the Nendoroid series! The cloth he has wrapped around his body and head has been faithfully included and specially designed to not get in the way of the articulation allowing for all sorts of different poses while still keeping the unique shape of his character!

If you look close you’ll also notice that his pants and the cloth have been sculpted with slight damages to them, keeping even the smallest details in tact on the Nendoroid – you can even see the small little hole in the hood near his right eye!

The damaged appearance as well as the slight change in color along the edges with a gentle gradient helps to capture the appearance from the original illustration quite nicely! There is a parting line on the back on the prototype, but this line is planned to be removed from the actual version!

▼ Next up we have a combat pose!

▲ A confident expression for combat!

This expression is based on the combat illustration from the game and makes use of his ‘combat’ expression! Compared to his standard expression he suddenly looks a lot more determined and ready for a battle!! (;ﾟ∀ﾟ)=3

Also note the details on his outfit, such as the white stripes on his jacket that go all the way along to his back! Each with two lines each time!! The intricate pattern on the tassets have also been carefully converted into Nendoroid size!

Like the previous Touken Nendoroids you can choose to display Yamambagiri with his sword drawn or sheathed! This also means that you can display him with his right hand holding the sword and his left hand holding the scabbard – it makes it look like he has just drawn his sword for a fight!

▼ Next up we have his third expression…

▲ An Embarrassed Expression!

The way he is averting his eyes with a slight blush… it captures the line “Don’t call me pretty!” perfectly!! This expression isn’t actually seen in the game, and was just based on that specific line!(*´ω｀*)

▲The hood comes in a second version!

This alternate version allows you to cover up more of his face which works together with the embarrassed expression so nicely! The way he is just peeking out slightly shows his embarrassment all the more!

▲ A base with Yamambagiri’s symbol!

Just like all the previously released Nendoroids from Touken Ranbu, Yamambagiri comes with a special base that features his sword symbol printed on the top!

By the way, you may have noticed that today’s review featured some amazing Japanese-themed Nendoroid-sized backgrounds! This is thanks to this amazing playset that went up for rerelease today!

Due to popular demand, the Nendoroid Playset #02: Japanese Life Set A – Dining Set and Nendoroid Playset #02: Japanese Life Set B – Guestroom Set are both being rereleased!! They suit the Touken Ranbu Nendoroid so well!

Nendoroid More T-34/85 (Girls und Panzer der Film)

Today is the 11th November! 11/11! I need to eat some Pretz as it’s Pocky & Pretz day! But that aside, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid More T-34/85!

From the popular anime film ‘Girls und Panzer der Film’ comes a series of tanks to join the Nendoroid More series. The fourth in the series is one of the tanks used by Pravda Girls High School – the T-34/85!

The details of the tank have been carefully preserved while shrinking the tank down to cute Nendoroid Petite size, the various hatches on the top of the tank as well as the periscope guard can be opened and closed! Be sure to display the tank together with the Nendoroid Petite: Girls und Panzer series!

It’s all over once Katyusha arrives!

The tank used by the ‘small tyrant’ Katyusha for Pravda Girls High School is joining the Nendoroid More series! – The T-34/85!

This is the fourth tank in this Nendoroid More series!

This should give you a good idea for the size of the Nendoroid More T-34/85! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Height: Approx. 85mm / Width: Approx. 190mm!

While it is a nice compact design, all the details and the original shape of the tank have all been very faithfully converted into Nendoroid Petite size!

It’s quite a lot bigger when compared to the previous Carro Veloce CV-33 (L3/33) tankette!

The texture and details on the caterpillar tread on these tanks always amazes me! The various little bolts and other parts are also very intricate!

▲ A very rugged appearance ready to take on any opponents!

As you can see from this photo, the turret hatch, loader hatch and driver hatch are all articulated and can be opened and closed! ♪

▲ No replaceable parts are required! ♪

The hatches on the top are also the perfect size to fit characters from the Nendoroid Petite: Girls und Panzer series in! They are sold separately though!

The exact way they will fit in is still being adjusted, but it will most likely end up with a focus on letting Nonna ride stably by inserting just her upper body and head part with the legs removed! (The photo above actually still has the legs attached, but this will likely change!)

In addition, the turret can be moved to the left and right! ★

▲ The barrel itself can also be moved up and down!

Speaking of moving, not only does the driver’s hatch open, but the periscope guard can also be opened and closed separately! ♪

Racing Miku 2016 Ver.: Part 2

Hello everyone!! Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

This weekend is both the Ankou Festival as well as the Final SUPER GT Race! Are you taking part in any of them?! Quite a lot of the staff if out preparing for the events leaving the offices rather empty today! :(‘Θ’ 」 ∠):_

Anyway, today I will be continuing yesterday’s blog with a closer look at…
Racing Miku 2016 Ver. !

The songstress of the race circuit as a 1/8th scale figure together with Weight-chans! ♥

A beautiful figure of Racing Miku based on one of the original illustrations by Mai Yoneyama! Plus the cute little ‘Weight-chan’ characters based on the weight stickers added to SUPER GT cars when they have a handicap are also included all coming together to create an adorable scene and an amazing figure! ☆

Of course all the details on areas that were never even visible on the original illustration have been carefully thought out and sculpted onto the figure, allowing fans to enjoy the lovely work from any angle they please!

Racing Miku-san is not only sitting, but also placed in a bent-forward pose which really brings out the shape of her hips and bottom when looking from the back! Just look at those beautiful curves!! (/ω・)

I personally love how she looks from the side!

This angle gives a nice look at both her soft, silky looking hair as well as the gently extended hand and bent up knee! Plus if you look at the parasol you can see that the effects of the light have been very carefully considered with the paintwork – the outside is a much lighter white than the inside is more of a gray color and the ‘4’ can be seen slightly through the thin material of the parasol! ε=(｡・д・｡)

It is always so different to see a figure in person compared to the photos! I hope lots of people come by to take a look!!

Let’s take a closer look at Hamako’s recommended points! ♪

– 1: Expression –

(・∀・) The first thing you have to take note of is this adorable face! She looks so carefree and innocent making such an cute expression!!

Ah! I know exactly what you mean! She does look so very cute!! This time around Racing Miku is definitely more on the ‘cute’ side of the cute-cool spectrum! It makes me wish I was there to protect her from any harm!

(・∀・) One thing I really want to point out is the design of her eyes! Note all the little triangles!

Now that you mention it… the eyes are very detailed! There is even a tiny little pink triangle in the middle!

(・∀・) The unique texture and detail of the eyes illustrated by Mai Yoneyama has been very faithfully preserved on the figure!

I think it may be one of the most detailed eyes I’ve ever seen on a scale figure! I could stare into her eyes for ages!

– 2: Sculpt –

(・∀・) The creases made on her ankles and toes due to her pose…

(・∀・) … and those made from the curves of her body have all been faithfully sculpted onto the figure! This allows you to kind of picture the shape of her body right through the outfit! You can also see the detail put into the tires used for her base to make them look rather realistic!

The tires have the actual name of tire manufacturers written on them, and also have these letter and arrows… what are they for?

(・∀・) These numbers are markings that give details about the tires such as the spinning direction, connecting point and firmness! They are written on the tires with chalk!

It even looks like chalk on the figure!! (灬ºωº灬)

(・∀・) Yep. That’s because it is chalk.

Huh?!

(・∀・) The painter for the figure Iwabitsu-sensei drew them on with chalk for the prototype! If you touch it it might rub off so be careful!

O-OK! I’ll be careful!!

(・∀・) The final mass-produced version won’t be actual chalk, but we will do everything we can to make it look just as realistic as possible!!

– 3: Interpretation –

(・∀・) One aspect of the figure that constantly came up in the development stages was preserving the highlights of the hair. It was quite difficult to sculpt and paint the strip-shaped highlights in a way that not only looked good when transformed into a 3D figure but also kept the same feeling as the original illustration. We worked with various different renditions with the production team before eventually settling on this one!

The colors of the tips of the hair look amazing on the illustration, but when you try and convert that into a figure you need to think in a whole new dimension as to where the colors change! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

(・∀・) Trying to convert the illustration exactly as is into a figure would leave some parts simply not adding up when looked at as a whole. To put it simply, 2D illustrations can make use of techniques that ‘lie’ to trick the eyes, but when changed into a 3D figure we had to work around those lies to make it look natural! But that’s exactly what made it such an interesting project!

Take a look at the colors of her twin-tails from various different angles for yourself!

(・∀・）Also, parts of the red highlight in her hair and twintails make use of semi-translucent parts! To retain the vivid appearance they are only very slightly see-through, so it might be a little hard to tell from the photos, but it looks really pretty based on how the light hits the figure!

Ah! I see now! They are very transparent towards the ends of the hair!

– 4: A Complete Scene –

(・∀・) This Racing Miku figure is rather different compared to most of the previous Racing Miku figures as she isn’t posed looking ahead, but instead at the can in her hands and Weight-chan! The figure isn’t just Racing Miku, but a whole little scene for fans to look upon making it a rather unique addition to any collection!

That’s what makes the figure so special to me! It all comes together so nicely to create something more than just a figure – it brings out its own little universe and a story to come along with it! It’s a little hard to put into words, but the way the figure all comes together is definitely one of my favorite points! ♪

(・∀・) I hope fans will enjoy the Racing Miku world with this figure complete with her special base!

Racing Miku 2016 Ver.: Part 1

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Racing Miku 2016 Ver.!♡

The official character of the Hatsune Miku GT Project ‘Racing Miku’ has been transformed into a 1/8th scale figure based on her 2016 design! The illustration by popular animator Mai Yoneyama has been faithfully captured in figure form for fans to enjoy in their collection!

Racing Miku is posed taking a break at the race track with her parasol opened out as she sits on a pile of tires with an adorable smile! She is posed together with the colorful ‘Weight-chan’ characters that were created based on the handicap weights added to GT cars!

The long awaited figure of the 2016 version of Racing Miku is finally ready to go up for preorder, with orders opening up tomorrow! ★

The original design was based on the ideas of ‘Victory’ and the ‘Phoenix’ which created a lovely colorful outfit that also has a bit of a fiery theme to the colors! The cute, innocent smile of this year’s Racing Miku also always stands out in her illustrations! ♡

The figure is based on this illustration by Mai Yoneyama!

A relaxed, everyday kind-of scene with Racing Miku-san sitting on a pile of tires together with the cute and colorful ‘Weight-chan’ characters! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The Weight-chans are characters based on the handicap weights put on the leading cars in the SUPER GT! They were designed by Shigeto Koyama and each of their expressions have been captured so perfectly on the figure!

While the front view of Miku gives her an innocent, playful appearance with her adorable smile…

The back has a more mature appearance with rather sexy curves!

▲ That curve from her back down to her bottom… so perfect!

The figure allows fans to enjoy both her adorable smile as well as her beautiful body – all tied together beautifully with a lovely outfit and base!ヽ(●´Д｀●)ﾉ

She is posed balancing her parasol on her shoulder with such a youthful and playful look! The area around her inner thigh’s that show off a bit of skin make her look so… defenceless!!

▲ They’re not panties so there is no reason to be embarrassed!

I decided to get some comments from the head planner Hamako regarding the highlights of the figure, and will be taking an even closer look at the figure on tomorrow’s blog together with her comments so be sure to check back tomorrow as well! ε=(｡・д・｡)

By the way, the final race for the season is coming up this weekend!☆

Finally a quick spin!

▲ Miku herself is amazing, but the detail on the parasol and base is also fantastic! ♪

The fact that her eyes are posed looking at Weight-chan and not at you makes it seem like you are peeking into Racing Miku-san’s break time and she hasn’t even notice you are there yet! It’s strangely exciting! (/ω＼)
