The prizes are all very special and range from items of really high standard to simple little goods for you to enjoy! You can purchase a lot at convenience stores across Japan as well as some appliance stores! (Happy Lots may not be available in certain areas.)

The A-prize and B-prize for the Miku lots were made by Good Smile Company! I managed to grab some samples so I’ll be taking a look at them today!

A 1/8th scale figure of Miku wearing a FamilyMart staff uniform! She definitely has a different feeling about her wen wearing this!

This is how she looks from the back!

The posing is identical to the previously released 1/8th scale Miku figure, but those who go to FamilyMart often will feel quite close to home seeing her in this uniform! I wish Miku would really serve me next time I go to FamilyMart!!

The adorable FamilyMart uniform!

The lines and logo all look just like the real thing! The shirt and tie on the inside also look great!

Her white skirt has such a fresh feeling!

The black top and white skirt contrast so nicely! It also has a nice summer-time feeling to it which suits Miku nicely! The normal Miku also normally has shiny futuristic boots, but Family Miku’s boots are matte coated instead – they look so smooth to the touch!

Miku-san is such an angel!!

This is a Nendoroid of Miku wearing the same FamilyMart uniform! She also comes with a couple of optional parts to play with! The standard pose is designed to look like Miku is welcoming you into the store – isn’t she adorable!

Slightly more simple than the standard Nendoroids, but she still comes with a small set of extras to enjoy, including some bent arms, straight arms and folded arms for a couple of different poses!

The little mark on her sleeve was taken from the actual data provided to us from FamilyMart! Even the small details like that have made their way onto the Nendoroid!

FamilyMart’s Family Chicken!

Everyone loves the Family Chicken that comes from FamilyMart, so it only suits that Miku should have some to enjoy as well! You can pose her eating it herself like this, or instead pose her handing it over to you – whichever you’d prefer!

When I see her with this expression I can’t help but imagine she is saying something like that! The bent arm you see here and the arm holding the Family Chicken are separate parts entirely.

I decided to have Rin-chan wear it, but I honestly think it will look quite nice on any characters! It’s just so adorable!!

These are screenshots from the PSP game ‘Fate/Extra CCC’, which is scheduled to release on the 21st February 2013! The scenario is written by Kinoko Nasu, character designs are by Rco Wada! The game is set in the near future and the storyline is based in parallel world to the Fate series!

I’m sure a lot of you already know, but the limited edition of Fate/Extra CCC will also come with a figma of Saber wearing this lovely outfit! I want to see it!!

Whoa! Hold on a second!!!

These must be the prototypes about to be sent off somewhere far again!

As I’ve mentioned a couple of times before on the blog, the 2012 Summer Wonder Festival prototypes are being displayed in locations around Japan from the 2nd August till the 16th August – they are going from Tokyo, to Nagoya, to Osaka and then to Fukuoka! To summarize my thoughts up – the detail is incredible! figma only measure about 14cm in height, to see this much detail is incredible!! (((ﾟДﾟ)))

The pattern on the veil is beautiful, and the fasteners all over the outfit are so amazingly detailed – overall the sculpting is just outstanding for a figma!

A sword is also included with the figma!

She comes with hand parts to hold the sword and swing it around like this, but she also comes with another hand part with her little finger in the air! That elegant pose will be perfect for the elegant outfit this version of Saber is wearing – she just needs a tea cup!

Definitely a rather risqué wedding dress, but that aside, the dress and veil both make use of some gradient clear parts! But there is so much more to enjoy as well – the detailed little pattern along the edges of the dress, the chains and locks hanging from the outfit and that little triangle of skin peeking through the outfit!

Even the dress features figma joints!

There are two joints in the back of the dress allowing you to move the entire skirt up like this! The burned effect at the edges of the skirt also looks very convincing! Great work once again from Max Factory’s painting team!

A fringe and expression to match Takashi’s illustration are also included!

Fate/stay night’s character designer, Takashi Takeuchi, also illustrated a version of Saber Bride that looked like this! Fans of the original Fate series might be more compelled to display her like this instead – but either way you get to choose which one you prefer!

Nendoroid Erica Hartmann

With all the prototypes touring around Japan I was worried I wouldn’t have anything to put on the blog, but I knew that if I wandered about the offices for long enough I would find something! I get the feeling it’s currently being used for work, but I’ll just be borrowing it for a second! 😛

The 6th Strike Witches Nendoroid:
Nendoroid Erica Hartmann!

From the hit anime series ‘Strike Witches’ comes the 6th Nendoroid from the series – the super ace of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, Erica Hartmann. As with the previous Strike Witches Nendoroids, she comes with a variety of optional parts to recreate your favorite scenes, including air combat scenes!

This is how she looks from the back!

Erica uses the same type of stand as Gertrud Barkhorn which makes it easy to make aerial poses. She also comes with the horizontal adapter for posing her flying horizontally!

The base of the stand also includes the 501st Joint Fighter Wing logo just like the previous Strike Witches Nendoroids. (This isn’t visible on the prototype, but will be on the final product.)

Receiving orders wearing her hat!

You can pose saluting by using the included bent arm! If you want to recreate the scene more precisely you’ll need to make use of Lucchini’s pants parts! 😛

The attractive hitchhiking pose!

If you use the same bent arm backwards, you can create this sexy pose! The winking expression is great for all sorts of different scenes. Her hat can of course also be removed!

Posed with her Strike Unit attached!

Erica is well known to be a super efficient and strategic flier when it comes to aerial combat – she has taken down over 200 opponents! She holds her MG42 with a specially included arm and hand parts to do so!

She also comes with an expression for combat!
Plus we can’t forget the included tail and alternate fringe parts to recreate her Dachshund ears! They’re so very cute!

Her special ‘Sturm’ technique!

Erica spins her body around to create powerful waves of wind, and the technique can even be recreated in Nendoroid form! She comes with partially clear effect parts, along with special arms to pose her just like this! She looks life she could defeat anybody in the skies with this attack!

Nendoroid Hakase

WonFes featured the debut of many new figures!!

One of which was this Nendoroid!

The second Nendoroid to be released from Nichijou! I love getting more and more characters from a single series so I can pose them together – it’s even better when they come with some optional parts to use as well!

Although, at WonFes you only really get to look at the Nendoroid alone and not all the optional extras – today we’ll be taking a look at everything!

Nendoroid Hakase!

From the anime series that was broadcast on NHK Education TV comes a Nendoroid of the self-proclaimed 8-year old genius – Shinonome Laboratory’s Hakase! She also comes with a load of optional parts that are great for displaying her together with the previous Nendoroid from the series, Nano Shinonome!

Thanks to her really long lab coat, she has to be one of the most stable Nendoroids ever! (I’m pretty certain she won’t even need a stand :P) The little hair sticking up on her head also looks lovely!

She also comes with the Sakamoto the black cat, a Sakamono Pharmacy cardboard box and a low table!

Is this anything but adorable!?

This super cute version of Hakase can be made using the included cat ears, cat tail and bent arm parts! Her chest area is also fitted with a joint so you can pose her bent over slightly like this to complete the pose!  Wonderful!

A super happy expression!

Just looking at this expression makes me feel happy as well! She is so cute!! Plus she comes with her favorite swiss roll and mug, so you can see exactly why she is so happy!

She also has sitting parts which I love!  Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟ )
The way she is sitting with her bare feet showing is so cute!

A crying face that’s just as cute!

It’s adorable!! It makes me want to take more snacks away from her so she cries some more!! The way her eyes are drawn along with the wavy mouth are just so wonderful!

Rock, paper, scissors!

You can recreate the rock, paper, scissors matches between Hakase and Nano! Now I finally understand why the shark hand was included with Nano! Great job planning team! Hakase even comes with a sleeve part being bitten by the shark!

The Shinonome household!

Hakase also comes with a teacup to recreate teatime in the Shinonome household! I definitely want to grab these two and display them above my desk just like this!

The photo looks great, but you really need to see and feel it in person to really experience how lovely they are! I feel so relaxed playing with these two!

Saber: Yukata ver.

The 2012 Summer WonFes Joint Product Exhibitions!

Between the 2nd and the 16th of August, the figures that were on display at the 2012 Summer Wonder Festival will be on display in various areas around Japan, including Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka! The figures are from many different companies, so come by and take a look if you’re in the area!!

Today I had to sneak into the GSC Café to take a couple of photos of these two!!

These photos were taken in the karaoke room with my a Sony NEX-05! I normally always use my Sony Alpha, so these shots might seem a little different compared to normal.

These photos also let me pretend I’m doing karaoke after the summer festival together with the cute girls in yukatas! Adding that premise also gives a whole new feeling to the photos! 😛

From the popular Fate/stay night series comes this 1/8th scale figure of Saber wearing a yukata perfect for the summer months! She is holding a folding fan in her one hand and a candied apple in the other!

It’s like she’s asking, “Want some?”

They way her hand is far out makes it feel like I’m out on a date with Saber and she is offering me some of the candied apple!! I can’t believe I got a date with Saber-san!!

Even this side is more than cute enough!!! ･(ﾉД`)･ﾟ･｡

She is wearing a lovely blue yukata with darker blue morning glory prints along it.

I love seeing characters in yukatas, they always look so cute! I suppose part of the reason is because you don’t get to see them like this very often, but there must be more to it than that…

Her lovely hipline is visible through the yukata!

Your eyes just go straight for those lovely hips, don’t they? Often with kimonos or yukatas a towel will be placed between the bust and fabric to prevent them from standing out too much, so being able to make out the other areas of the body through the fabric becomes all the more important!

She also comes with a ponytail option!

An very nice extra option from FREEing!! The ponytail makes her look even more cuter to me – she looks more relaxed somehow!

Even the back of her neck is cute!

Saber looks like she has her attention elsewhere – I’m guessing there are more stands with some delicious festival food she wants to try! 😛

You can also switch around which hands are holding the candied apple and the folding fan. (Well, you can on the prototype, we’ll have to wait and see if it is still possible on the final version!)

The second in the set is Ilya: Yukata ver.!

Ilya has a yukata with a similar shade of purple to her normal outfit, along with a lovely pink ribbon! She is posed in a much more exited pose as a lovely contrast to the calm Saber!

She even has a Berserker mask!

She looks so adorable in this pose! Rin and Sakura will also be following to complete the Fate girls Yukata collection, allowing you to keep all four of them by your side, all wearing the yukatas that come directly from the designs in the game!

This is what I see when I get up from my desk!

Right in front of me is Max Factory!

Right here we have Nitouhei! We’re on the same floor with seats right next to each other now, so I can constantly spy on what he is up to! In fact, I can see he has a figure watching over him that I want to take a look at!

1/7th Scale Luka Megurine: Tony Ver.!

A 1/7th scale figure of Luka based on popular illustrator Tony’s illustrations, following on from the previously released Miku figure! The unique transparent feeling that accompany Tony’s illustrations has been faithfully recreated on a very sexy figure that pulls out Luka’s charms with a very provocative pose.

Tony’s Luka went on sale on the 31st July! (`･ω･´)

She should be on sale at all of our partner shops at this very moment, so if you like this review you can head out and grab her today!

The sculpting was done by Chieri!

The sculpting is incredible!! I absolutely love Chieri’s work!!!

The way her body has been sculpted makes it look like it’ll feel just like real skin if you were to touch it! The see-though appearance and paintwork also look just like they did on the prototype! Great work to everyone on the manufacturing team!

This is how she looks from the back!

The long drapes of her skirt and her long hair both look beautiful from the back! Also take a look at the delicate little fingers holding the golden mike in the air!

That lovely transparent appearance!

Looking at the blue gradient in her eyes also sucks me in completely… I can’t believe they are done with stamp printing with this much detail! They also have a slightly glossy appearance which looks great!!

Her hair uses clear parts!

Definitely one of the highlight’s of Tony’s Luka is her beautiful hair, which is colored with a transparent gradient that gradually gets more see-through as it goes toward the tips!

Miku had a more glossy effect to her hair which made it much shinier, while Luka has a matte coating which gives her a more relaxed appearance!

The base is shaped like a record!

There are even small little grooves along the record, carefully sculpted onto the base! A base like this was such a great idea, and apparently it came from MAX Watanabe himself!

Wonderful knee high socks!!

The patterns on the edges of the socks along with the gold trim are also absolutely stunning! The little peek at her stomach is also quite a treat!

She looks great displayed with Miku!

Such bright colors! They compliment each other so nicely!

Seeing these two together really makes me want to see a Rin-chan coming as well though… let’s all plead of Max Factory to bring us Rin-chan next!

What a lovely project! Now anyone who couldn’t make it to WonFes still has a chance to see some of the lovely figures that were on display!

I get the feeling it might be hard to continue with my work while all the prototypes are on tour, but I guess as long as everyone is enjoying them that is the most important part!

From ‘Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai’:
1/7th Scale Sena Kashiwazaki!

From the popular light novel series “Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai” comes a 1/7th scale figure of Sena Kashiwazaki, the girl who would be perfect if it wasn’t for her personality! Sena has great grades and excels at sports, she has lovely blond hair, blue eyes and big breasts – but at the same time she has a really stuck-up and bossy personality.

Her skin looks so squishy and touchable, and those curves are just fantastic!! Also take a look at how realistic the area between her thighs and calves look!

She has such a grumpy expression!

Definitely not the kind of expression you would normally expect to see on a figure of a cute girl. The pose is taken directly from the cover of the second volume of the light novel!

This is how she looks from the right side!

From this side you can can be reminded of why Yozora calls her ‘meat’ – just look at her huge bust! Not that I’m complaining. 😛 I’m sure there are many Sena fans that would be happy to display her in their rooms displayed at this angle!

The way the skirt flutters up is amazing!

I hesitate to mention the thighs again, but just look at the triangle formed between the two thighs – it’s wonderful! I almost can’t resist trying to put my hand through…

If there is anyone out there that doesn’t feel the same kind of urge, I think we need to sit down and have a long debate as to why until one of us gives in – I’m fairly confident I’ll win though!!  (`・ω・´)

A close-up on her body!

There really is nothing to criticize! I’m quite a fan of this style of character, so I looked at her quite critically, but there is nothing that even remotely disappoints!

Completely unrelated, but while we were looking at this picture I had a 10 minute conversation with Oonoshi about boobies! What a wonderful company Good Smile is! (Granted, she mostly just listened while I prattled on… :P)

She body makes a lovely S-shape!

The lively pose is really great to look at from all sorts of angles, not to mention super sexy!!  From the skirt that you just can’t see underneath to the hip-line you can make out from underneath her skirt – the figure is such a tease!

The high socks and loafer shoes you’d expect to see on most high school girls are also absolutely lovely!
