But I had to come by at least once before Friday! I needed to grab some photos of the products that would be on display at WonFes – but that’s a blog for another day. 😛

Today I’ll be borrowing that weapon lying on his desk to introduce this figure to everyone!! (`･ω･´)

It’s so nice to be able to pose a figure exactly how you want to see it – and with Nanoha that means you can create all the famous combat scenes! There are so many poses I want to make!

She can hold it on the grip or on the blue handle area – which ever you prefer!

Floating in the air with a smile!

She uses the arm-type stand allowing you to pose her in aerial poses just like this! The base of the stand also features a lovely magical circle!

A shouting expression for combat!

You can also change Raising Heart into Strike Flame mode!

The light and wing parts of the Strike Flame form are made using a clear pink plastic which looks really nice. The wings on her feet are actually made using the same clear parts, and can also be removed and attached whenever you like.

She really is loaded with joints – she has joints on her neck, twin-tails, shoulders, hips, elbows, knees, wrists, ankles and more! Even the sides of her skirt can be moved around, allowing you to create really dynamic looking scenes with her skirt blowing around in the action!!

Just looking at this smile calms me down!

If you prefer the more peaceful side of Nanoha then you can stay way from the combat poses and have a much more peaceful pose like this one! She looks so happy to be holding Raising Heart!!

The ability to change the poses to however you like is really great! You can really pick the Nanoha you want to see with this version!

Nendoroid Insane Black Rock Shooter

She is of course from the anime series that aired on Fuji TV’s noitaminA block, ‘Black Rock Shooter’ – a more psychotic version of Black Rock Shooter that played a big role in the series! The Nendoroid can take a variety of poses from the series as well as from key visuals from the series!

This is an actual sample of the product!

With only five days to go, we obviously aren’t looking at the prototype, but in fact at one of the actual figures that will be on sale at the event! This is pretty much exactly what you’ll get if you pick her up at WonFes this weekend!

As you can see from the packaging above, she comes with a lot of extra parts to play around with!

This is how she looks from the back!

As you can see, the Insane Cannon Lance at her side is even taller than her! It’s also attaches to her back with a chain. Her spiky twin-tails are also fitted with joints! The crown on the left is made of a softer material so it doesn’t get in the way of posing at all!

The Insane Cannon Lance!

She can be posed holding the cannon with her right hand while her left hand pulls the chain back to support it! The incredible size of the weapon creates a pose has a really epic feeling to it!

I’m glad you noticed! But in case you didn’t…
Insane-san has more joints than a normal Nendoroid!

Not only does she have joints in her shoulders and wrists, but also her elbows, knees and ankles! It’s not quite as many joints as the super posable ‘Edition’ series of Nendoroids, but it is definitely more than normal and definitely makes it possible for some more interesting poses!

A rather cute looking combat expression!

Those scornful eyes with the kind of blank staring expression suits her so well! Insane-san is so adorable… 😛

She also comes with a separate arm part to pose her with the Cannon Lance horizontally at her side like this!

The Insane Blade Claw!

The blade has been given a nice metallic look, and can be held in either hand! The BRS series is often praised for working with figmas very well, but I have to say I think it works just as well with Nendoroids! huke’s designs are just so incredible!!

Insane-san looking down from above!

She looks like a dominatrix looking down on everyone, it’s lovely!! The purple flame over her eye connects onto her fringe and so can be used with either of the expressions!

Exchange expressions with Nanoha!

Nendoroid Nanoha Takamachi & Fate Testarossa : Seishoudai Primary School Uniform Ver. is another one of the WonFes products together with Insane-san – if you grab both of them you can exchange expressions for a rather interesting look like this!

Their eyes are a similar purple color, so it actually suits quite well! Insane-san looks so much more innocent suddenly! ((((( ;゜Д゜)))))

All of the tiles feature the words ‘Good Smile’ on them! They are a one-of-a-kind original set of Mahjong tiles!

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a look at this lovely Nendoroid!

From Saki Achiga-hen:

Nendoroid Nodoka Haramura!

From the anime series filled with cute girls who love playing Majhong, “Saki Achiga-hen” comes a Nendoroid of Nodoka Haramura, also known as ‘Nodacchi’! She also comes with a large selection of optional parts to help you recreate your favorite scenes!

Her bust-size is even nice and clear in Nendoroid size!!

This is how she looks from the back!

Her long, straight hair looks absolutely lovely from the back! Is it just me or do pink-haired characters seem to have the largest busts…?

She also comes with a chair and her stuffed penguin, Etopen!

You can put her hair up in twin-tails!

You can choose between having the long hair or the twin-tails with a quick switch of some parts! You could even change her hairstyle to suit the weather!

You can also display her holding Etopen!

This is actually a separate Etopen, so you actually get two versions of him!

The “I’ll definitely win!” pose!

By replacing the side hair with a separate part you can pose her with her hand up in the air like this! That smiling expression with her mouth slightly open also looks absolutely lovely!

She also comes with sitting parts!

An entirely separate lower body part that allow you to pose her seated on the chair! You really do get quite a lot of variety with all the different body types and hairstyles!

She has bent arms, and an Etopen for the sitting pose!

That means there are actually three different versions of Etopen! Nakajima was the head of planning for this figure, and you can really see he had a soft spot for the little penguin! 😛

A spaced-out face and 2-bamboo tile!

This is the expression she always had when she went into her awakened state while playing mahjong – which makes it ideal for posing her in the middle of a mahjong game!

I kind of which I had a full-size miniature majhong table to display with her! If more Nendoroids from the series come out, perhaps Phat company will consider it!

Reach! She also has a 1000 point bar!

It’s a bit hard to see in this image, but it is the blue reach bar! I’ve only ever seen white versions before, but apparently there really are blue ones as well!

Another thing that I haven’t really touched on is her lovely uniform! The half-sleeves together with that design look so wonderful!

Yay, he actually took the pose!

Shuu-chan from the planning team was kind enough to take the attack charging pose from Monster Hunter for us! You can’t really see his expression in this photo, but even that is a very convincing rendition of the game! 😛

In the background we also have the cafe team watching with a smile! I love Good Smile just because of all the things like this!!

Male Swordsman – Lagia X Edition!

From the Nintendo 3DS game ‘Monter Hunter 3G’ comes a Nendoroid of the male swordsman wearing the G-class ‘Lagia X Series’ armor set, made using items from the Sea Wyvern Lagiacrus.

The Nendoroid features an amazing 23 different joints for all sorts of different poses! The figure has also been given a very solid finish to recreate the defensive feeling of the armor!

The great-sword he wields is the Thunder Blade Lagiacrus!
Because he is a part of the fully posable ‘Edition’ series of Nendoroids, you can strike some really cool poses with his sword! Let’s play around a bit! (`･ω･´)

The little tail-like thing sticking out the back of his helm looks lovely! It’s also fitted with a ball joint so you can move it around!

As a quick side-note, I’d like to let everyone know the GSC is full of Monster Hunter lovers! I was quite addicted to it myself at one stage…

Gathering!!

He had best watch out though, as the fierce Rathalos is behind him! This is one of Shuu-chan’s own personal models, which is a part of Capcom’s ‘Capcom Figure Builder: Creator’s Model’ series.

Rathalos always just flew away whenever I tried to get him…

This was the monster that had to be defeated for our warrior to make all this lovely armor! Lagiacrus is generally found underwater, and I was not really used to underwater combat when I fought him so it took me quite awhile…

Cooking some meat!

This little extra is actually my own personal little part and isn’t included with the figure, but it seemed to suit the Nendoroid so well I had to take a picture! It does look a bit odd that he has such a straight expression while sitting on an invisible chair though. 😛

He has moved from the planning team to the manufacturing team!!

Oooh! That’s great! I wish I could have the chance to work in some different departments from time to time…

At one point I actually asked Aki if I could join the manufacturing team, but the request was quickly declined… ^^;

I actually one day hope to be able to work in planning, production, manufacturing and advertising! I’m sure I’ll get there one day, but I think production will be the hardest one to get into…

From Rinne no Lagrange:

Nendoroid Madoka Kyouno!

From the anime series set in Kamogawa, ‘Rinne no Lagrange’ comes a Nendoroid of the heroine of the series, Madoka Kyouno! She comes with a variety of expressions and replaceable parts which allow you to create her signature poses, display her in her uniform or her jersey or even pose her with her hair tied up!

In this photo I’m posing her with a pointed finger to recreate the… “correct!” pose where she draws a circle in the air!

This is how she looks from the back!

She has classic brown hair, with some of her hair sticking up at the sides! The sleeve on her left arm is rolled up, and the shoulder and elbow are separate parts to allow for more combinations of parts!

A confident expression and tied up hair!

Using this expression while she is wearing her orange jersey is perfect for recreating combat scenes! The tied-up hair is a simply a completely seperate fringe part that you just need to swap out quick and easily!

But there is still much more to come…

She also comes with her school uniform!

A separate upper-body wearing her white uniform instead of the orange jersey is also included! With the separate fringe, body and expressions you can pose her in all sorts of wonderful poses!

You can even pose her drinking her ‘Kamogawa Energy’ drink!

A startled expression and more arms!

This of course recreates the scene from the very first episode of the series! The expression is so unique – it’s like a perfect cross between being surprised and embarrassed!

Midori━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━!!!!

The Vox Aura that Madoka pilots in the series will also be available in a special collaboration with Hasegawa’s Egg Plane series!!

Egg Planes are rounded, miniature aircraft models with small wings, creating a humorous design for model aircraft. Hasegawa is known for its scale models, however the Egg Planes are still a very well received series of products.

The interesting shape of the models along with a much more colorful and comical box art compared to Hasegawa’s other models drives the popularity. The models also have very few parts in comparison to the scale models are are thus much easier to put together and popular with children as well as adults. They often take up the role of introducing newcomers to the modeling and painting world.

A rounded, miniature design seems perfect for Nendoroids!!

I’m sure I’m not the only one that feels that way!

As was mentioned on the Wiki article above, the Egg Plane series is a plastic model series, so you’ll have to grab it and put it together yourself before you can have Madoka take a ride! Grab the model kit along with some of the GSR Diagonal Pliers at WonFes and make one for yourself! Note that the Egg Plane is sold separately from the Nendoroid!

I don’t think I would have recognized it as his desk if it wasn’t for the huge collection of gundam-like models! It’s great that I can find people based on the figures they have on display. ^^

From The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky:

Nendoroid Renne!

Following on from Nendoroid Estelle Bright from the ‘Trails in Sky’ series comes this figure of a figure of Ouroboros Agent, Legion No. XV – Renne, also known by the name ‘The Angel of Extermination’.

An 11-year old girl wearing Lolita clothes and wielding a huge scythe as a weapon!! Σ(゜∀゜）

She also has a lovely back-story which makes her one of my best characters!

Her hair is sculpted as if the wind is blowing across it, just as it did whenever she was in battle mode. Her giant scythe has a lovely golden edge which looks absolutely gorgeous!

The ‘Trails in the Sky’ series has been continuing over a number of games, but this key pose was from ‘Ys vs. Trails in the Sky : Alternative Saga’. That alluring expression combined with the finger on her lip makes for such a stunning pose!

A relaxed expression and black bunny!

This pose with her two arms crossed comes from ‘The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky – Second Chapter’. She doesn’t have her weapon with this pose, which makes her look so much more childlike and innocent!

Delicious ice-cream and sitting parts!

I can’t help but wonder what flavor that ice-cream is… she comes with both the ice-cream and a hand part to hold it in! As you can see, she can also hold the black bunny with just one arm!

I’m also very glad to see more Nendoroids with sitting parts! You simple replace her lower body and skirt in order to pose her sitting like this. As a side note, she is wearing drawers beneath he skirt!

An angry expression for combat poses!

Trails in the Sky is well known for its great fighting scenes! The battles in the game are actually done in the same kind of chibi-size as Nendoroids, so the Nendoroids seem to suit the series perfectly!

Estelle went on sale on the 10th of July!!

This is in fact an actual product sample, not the prototype! Even with all the small details on her design, she came out wonderfully!!

You can pose the two working together or turn things around and have them fighting each other – you can create all sorts of scenes from the series!!

Let’s just back in the past for a sec!

The first Nendoroids from the ‘Trails in the Sky’ series were in fact Nendoroid Petites! We’ve now got normal Nendoroids of Estelle and Renne, so I suppose we can only guess who the next one will be…?

To be honest I haven’t heard anything about the next in the series from Oda-P, so we’ll have to see what happens… 😛
(But surely we can’t just get two and not the third!)

Nendoroid Petite: Tales Series

Last week Friday on WonHobby News Watch…

We introduced these Nendoroids!! Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟ）

They were also originally on display at the Yokohama area in June for the Tales of Festival 2012! At that time they were unpainted, but now they are fully painted for everyone to enjoy!

But today we’ll be taking a closer look at them, so let’s get started!

Nendoroid Petite: Tales Series!

From the ever-popular ‘Tales’ series of games comes a set of Nendoroid Petites of a number of the series’ heroes and heroines!

They will be sold as singles or in a box of 8!

A single will cost ¥500 and a box will cost ¥4000! Definitely a little easier on the wallet than the previous boxes of 12.

This is how they look from the back!

Each of them is about 65mm tall, which is a great size to have on display right beside you on your desk!

I’m more and more impressed with the amount of detail on Nendoroid petites with each and every release – the lines on Jude’s outfit are just a tiny bit bigger than 1mm in some places!

Yuri Lowell and Estelle!

Yuri’s long hair and Estelle’s puffy skirt have both come out looking lovely! The gradient on the hair and coloring of the eyes have also clearly had a lot of work put into them!

Whilst it’s not definite yet, Sophie’s left elbow might be fitted with a joint allowing you to pose her with her palm outwards for a little extra posability! Asbel also looks great, ready to draw his sword

Jude Mathis and Milla Maxwell!

From a manufacturing point of view I think these two till be the most difficult to make. The color work on Milla in particular looks like it’ll be quite a mission. Xilla also has a sequel coming up for release in Japan this November!

These two were voted the most popular in a recent poll! Displayed like this it seems like they’re ready to draw their swords and fight each other! It’s quite interesting to be able to display characters across games like this!

This is obviously a set of two Nendoroids, and each comes with some extras parts which we’ll take a look at shortly. They also each come with an extra expression – lots of goodies for fans to enjoy!

That simple white uniform with the blue stripes has such a neat and tidy look to it! The skirt is also nice and loose which ensures the legs can be moved around without any problems for all sorts of fun poses!

Nendoroid Nanoha Takamachi!

The younger version of Nanoha is so adorable!!

Nanoha comes with her device and a school bag!

The school bag is carried on her back, but it has a hole for the arm of the stand so that it doesn’t get in the way when you’re trying to pose her!

Nendoroid Fate Testarossa!

The young Fate is just as cute as Nanoha!! She looks so happy!

Fate comes with her school bag and a hand to hold it!

They both come with two bent arms for some cute posing options like this!

Arf and Yuuno in their animal forms!

They’re so tiny!! Both of them are attached to the arm parts that are holding them, so hopefully they won’t go missing too easily!

Even though Yuuno is so tiny, he still has highlights for the pupils in his eyes! Both of them are really important characters, so I’m glad to have them included!

Holding out their intelligent devices!

When you pose the two of them together like this, it looks just like they are about to transform together! The devices are attached to the hand parts, but can be attached to any of the arms!

This lets you recreate one of the most popular scenes from the show!

They suit each other so well!!

Not only can they hold hands, but there are also hand parts for them to couple hands together like this – you can even make out each and every one of their tiny fingers!! Absolutely incredible!!

Nendoroid Petite : Uta no Prince-sama – Maji Love 1000% on Display at animate Ikebukuro!

This weekend is a long weekend!! Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟ）

How is everyone planning to spend their extra day this weekend? How about taking some figures outside for some photos? I definitely want to get to that some time but I think I’ll be spending my weekend hard at work! xD

Normally the blog would take the long weekend off as well, but…

There will be a special blog update tomorrow!!

I can’t say anything more at the moment, but check around noon Japan time tomorrow for a blog update!

I wasn’t too sure what to write today’s blog on, when Shuu-chan mentioned that he was going to the Ikebukuro animate store to take some photos of the UtaPuri Maji LOVE 1000% display. He offered to let me use the photos for today’s blog, and so here we go! I often go to animate in Akihabara, but I don’t often go to Ikebukuro so it interesting for me to see the photos too!

This is the 7th floor elevator!

While you wait for the elevator to come up and the doors to open, you get to enjoy the lovely gazes of all the princes! Apparently actually standing in front of it is quite the experience – I want to go myself now!!

They’re inside as well!?

There are even more princes inside the elevator! Ikebukuro animate is incredible!!! Not only were they at the back of the elevator, but on the side walls as well – it’s like walking into heaven for any fans of the series!

8th Floor: Videos and Games!

Games, CDs and DVDs all lined up for purchase! In the middle I also spy banner advertising Nendo Petite: Uta no Prince-sama – Maji Love 1000%! Thank you animate!!

5th Floor: Character Goods!

Everything on these shelves is all UtaPuri goods?! Really?!

Seeing this many goods on display is quite the sight!!

With so many goods right in right in front me I don’t think I could help but go on a spending spree… although just looking at them all looks like it could be fun! I really want to go now…

Princes hanging from the roof!!

If all the goods aren’t enough for you, you can look up and have even more princes smiling down upon you! Just being at this animate store makes me think that no matter how tired I am I’d recover my HP and MP back to full!!

6th Floor: Figures & Toys!

Definitely the floor used by Good Smile Company the most! Another Nendo Petite advert can be found underneath the UtaPuri plushies released by Gift!

Ah! Here they are!!

Ooh, they are displayed very nicely! I’m sure they’ll be loved by lots of girls coming through the store!! These are the prototypes, and they are only on display at animate Ikebukuro. If you have time on the long weekend and you can get there, be sure to go and take a look!

We even got a quick interview with one of the staff members at the store – Ooshiro-san!!

Q1: How has the reaction to the UtaPuri campaign been?

There have been a lot more sales of the more expensive items like sheets and tapestries from the series. I’ve been wearing an apron covered in UtaPuri characters, so a lot of customers have been talking to me about it as well.

Q2: How about the reaction to the Nendoroid Petites?

They’re very popular! Lots of people have been inquiring about them, and most people that pass by the display will say they’re very cute!

Q3: What other UtaPuri products would you like to see?

I would love to see some figures of the main character, Haruka Nanami!

Ooshiro-san seems like a Otoya fan! ^^

She’s even got a small advert for the Nendoroids attached to her apron!! ｡･ﾟ･(ﾉД`)･ﾟ･｡

The First Blog Title for The New Offices is…!
