WonFes Products and Booth Info!

Only three working days until WonFes?!

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I keep telling myself “Relax. There is no time to panic”, but we’re getting closer and closer to the big day! I think the panic has begun to spread across GSC quite quickly…

Anyway, with that said I need to take a look at some more WonFes products before the big day! Let’s get started! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Today I’ll be taking a look at the two figma figures and Dekacchu!

figma Kaga

“You’re my Admiral? I have fairly high expectations of you.”
From ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a figma of Kaga from the First Carrier Division.
· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· The connection of the ship deck is fully posable. You can even display her drawing an arrow.
· She comes with a standard expression, an injured expression and a gentle smile with a blush.
· Optional parts include her bow, her arrows based on famous aircraft and some ice cream, her favorite treat.
· An articulated figma stand is included.

The calm and collected Kaga is joining the figma series! ♡

The Kanmusu that suits the Summer months so nicely! I really want to take her down to the beach with me! ♪

This is how the packaging looks!

My eyes go straight to that impressive ship deck and quiver!

The ship deck is sculpted and painted down to the smallest of details! You need to feel the intricate little bumps and dents for yourself!

The ship mast on her quiver is also beautifully made! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

You can even pose her in half-damaged form!

The dress area is made from a soft material allowing bent over poses like this to easily be made! It matches the expression so nicely!

I also really want to display her smiling together with figma Akagi!!

figma Levi: Cleaning ver.

“This is a serious problem… we need to get started immediately!”
From the popular anime series ‘Attack on Titan’ comes another figma of Levi… this time dressed up in his cleaning gear!
· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· Three expressions are included: a standard expression, a shouting expression and a combat expression!
· His bandana comes in two forms: one hanging from his neck and another tied up around his mouth.
· A cloth, duster and broom are all included to help him clean.
· Alternate front hair parts for Levi, as well as some bonus alternate front hair parts for Mikasa are both included!
· An articulated figma stand is included

He was already a Nendoroid, but now the cleaning heichou is a figma too! (｀・ω・´）

Just like the Nendoroid, he also comes with a special inner cardboard sheet to recreate the famous window-opening scene! ( -ﾉｪ-)

The cleaning tools look amazing… but I also have to wonder why there seem to be so many different hair parts! They are actually included for use on other AoT figmas – figma Mikasa Ackerman and figma Levi!

The special hair parts are great for creating dynamic combat poses, as if they were flying through the air on their Vertical Maneuvering Equipment! They can also be used for everyday scenes though!

Looks like the wind is coming up!

The next part I love about this figma is the cloth part!

As you can see, it’s even folded in half and ready to get some cleaning done! Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟﾉ)ﾉ

The fluffy appearance also comes out quite nicely!

Dekacchu KanColle: Aircraft Carrier Wo-Class

…………………Wo Wo.

From the popular game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a figure of the aircraft carrier ‘Wo-class’ in a special giant size! The unique design has been faithfully preserved with a chibi design, while still standing an impressive 20cm in height! A size befitting of an aircraft carrier, and yet still adorable as ever!

I decided to see how heavy she was… she is over a kilogram in weight!

As for some size comparisons… here she is with Sachiko Koshimizu from the Minicchu IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls 02 as well as my iPhone! ☆

As you can see she is a rather impressive size! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

Her ‘hat’ can also be removed just like the Medicchu!

Kirari decided to try on the hat!

The packaging design is also filled with fun little treats, so be sure to take a close look! ♪

Booth Flags!

After sales end at the event, GSC will be running all sorts of little projects for fans to come by and enjoy!

#1: Draw a Nendoroid Expression!

After sales end, the sales area will be selling special blank Nendoroid expressions with the WHL4U logo printed on them for ¥100! You can draw your very own expression for your collection!

Here are some that the staff came up with as a test!

It’s amazing how much detail you can go into with just a marker when you know how to draw! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

The logo is printed on the top!

We will also have a selection of hair parts to test on your expression while drawing! ♫

Each expression is ¥100, with a maximum of two per person! Of course you are welcome to take your creations home!

#2: Nendoroids #1 – #400! Can We Get Them All?

In this section we will be trying to collect Nendoroid #1 – #400 from our fans! Bring one or more (as many as you like!) of your favorite Nendoroids and we will put it on display for all to enjoy. Everyone that brings a Nendoroid will receive a free blank Nendoroid face and more little goodies! Let’s see how many we can get on display before the end of the event! (All Nendoroids will of course be returned to their loving owners before the end of the event!)

This section will also be starting after sales have ended around 14:00. We’ll be waiting for your Nendoroid!

#3: Sculptor’s Advice and Question Corner

The poster for this section looks… so epic!! Everyone is wearing glasses! This corner will be taking questions and giving advice for hobbyists and serious sculptor’s alike! Come by and enjoy the talks – they will be in Japanese though! (｀・ω・´)

Nendoroid Mashiro Mitsumine

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I like my curry best mild and my sushi without wasabi! (｀・ω・´)

Anyway, today I’m gong to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Mashiro Mitsumine!

From the anime series ‘Mikakunin de Shinkoukei’ comes a Nendoroid of the ‘loli sister-in-law’, Mashiro Mitsumine! Her needlessly large school uniform has been faithfully preserved in Nendoroid size, and she comes with three expressions including a confident expression, an innocent smile and a chibi expression filled with excitement!

She also comes various parts to recreate the opening scene from the ending theme – some curry rice, a spoon, cup, table and chair are all included! Her beloved toy of the UMA ‘Mokele-mbembe’ is also included for her to enjoy! Be sure to grab the Nendoroid sister-in-law for yourself and keep her by your side forever!

From Mikakunin de Shinkoukei or it’s English title ‘Engaged to the Unidentified’ comes an adorable Nendoroid of Mashiro Mitsumine! ♪

The large white ribbon has been faithfully included! The hair sticking out the back even has a joint for some extra dynamic poses! ♪

(・∀・) “Mashiro… she’s so cute!!”

We’re joined by the figure’s planner… Chan-shuu-senpai!

(・∀・) “Today I’m going to be taking a look at three of my favorite points about Nendoroid Mashiro Mitsumine!”

– Point #1 –
Small Nendoroid Joints in her Shoulders!

(・∀・) “Mashiro makes use of her arms to show her expressions and reactions more than most, so we wanted to give her arms more ability to be moved around – so we added miniature Nendoroid joints to her shoulders!”

You can pose her super-long sleeves fluttering about so nicely! （*´▽｀*）

– Point 2 –

She can hold things even with baggy sleeves!

Tattatararararatattattararara~! ♪

(・∀・) “If you switch out her arm for the special hand for holding things then she can hold most Nendoroid sized items, such as the included spoon and curry!”

A smug expression to eat her mild curry! She’s so cute it hurts!

(・∀・) “You can even have her hold another one of the included optional parts – her beloved Mokele-mbembe!”

The UMA from the chocolate eggs in the Valentine’s episode!

No matter how many times she tried she never got the one she wanted… I felt so sorry for her and yet loved how adorable it was all at the same time!

That aside… I recognise this expression…!

(・∀・) “Yep! This leads me onto the third point…!”

– Point 3 –

Various parts to recreate the famous ending theme!

(・∀・) From a cute chibi ‘(＞Д＜)’ face, a table, chair and cup… there are a huge selection of items to grab the cute poses from the ending theme!

Ooooooooohhh!! （*´▽｀*）

Recreate the ending theme! ♪

(・∀・) “Plus as you have already seen from the sleeves, she also comes with her favorite food – curry rice! Just imagine the adorable lyrics playing through your mind while looking through these poses – the curry of course has a very mild coloring to it!”

There are an amazing number of parts with her! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

Even the lumpy look of the grains of rice are visible!

(・∀・) “While she can’t be seated on the seat completely, if you pose her with the edge of her skirt on the edge of the chair it creates a sitting perfect sitting appearance from the front – there is even a prop from the chair to hold her up for this!”

Looking at this expression reminds me of the scene where she spins around and around…

It even works on the Nendoroid!

(・∀・) “If you borrow expressions from other Nendoroids, you can even pose her all worried like this – as if surrounded by sticky stuff!”

* Makes use of Nendoroid Inia Sestina‘s expression

Mashiro is well known for her interesting movements and expressions, and the Nendoroid really captures that fun side of her!

I really like the cardboard box scene from the ending… so I decided to make it!

* Made using the upcoming Nendoroid Solid Snake’s Cardboard Box!

Nendoroid Wo-Class, Nendoroid Sayaka: Uniform Ver. & Kyouko Sakura: Casual Ver.!

Only 5 working days until WonFes?!

I… I almost refuse to believe it!
Time has gone by too quickly! (｀・ω・´；)

Anyway, today I’ll be taking a sneak peek at some of the WonFes products! I decided to first have Ranran (@gsc_ranran) hold all the figures together for a photo!

They pile so high you can’t even see her face!

Today I’ll be taking a quick look at the two Nendoroid products! ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ

First up, the adorable Abyssal Carrier…
Nendoroid Aircraft Carrier Wo-Class

The aircraft carrier from the depths of the sea.

The Aircraft Carrier Wo-Class from KanColle is finally joining the Nendoroid series, carefully preserving the unique design and form of the mysterious vessel in Nendoroid size! The Nendoroid also features special light-up effects, allowing you to switch the color of the eyes on her head piece between three different colors!

She also comes with her staff as well as three small planes to fly about around her. She also comes with a more comical glaring expression for a less serious pose! Be sure to display her together with the other KanColle Nendoroids and recreate the fierce battles of the KanColle seas!

A cute little Wo-Class!!

The first Nendoroid from the enemy side of KanColle! ♪
The combination of cute and evil in chibi size is amazing!!

This is how the packaging looks!

The ‘hat’ part… if that’s what it is… has an incredible presence! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

Wo-Class also comes with a slightly bigger than normal 8cm x 8cm base!

Plus not only does she come with the standard transparent base, but also a special blue base for posing her deep in the depths of the ocean!

A little speech bubble with it’s very own stand is included to pose beside her for a bit of a comical effect. It simply reads ‘Wo?’

But perhaps the most amazing thing about Wo-class is the fact that she has a light-up gimmick! The batteries are sneakily included in the giant head part – let me take her to a bit of a darker area to show you! (｀・ω・´)

Ooohhh!! (*´Д｀)=з

The faint glow is rather ominous, but very pretty! What’s more, she also can switch between three different colors! Along with green, you can also have her shine red or yellow! I’ll be showing the other colors off during the Kahotan Station broadcast tonight! っ(σ・∀・)σ

Of course, you can also choose to display her without the hat! ( -ﾉｪ-)

It’s a little hard to tell from the photos, but she has a lovely little belly button too! Easily one of my favorite areas on the figure! ( -ﾉｪ-)

I’ll be taking a more detailed look during the live broadcast tonight! The figure’s planner Kyojin will be joining me to speak about the smaller details!

Nendoroid Sayaka Miki: Uniform Ver. & Kyouko Sakura: Casual Ver. Set

Sayaka in her school uniform and Kyouko in her casual outfit – the famous Puella Magi combination in a set!
Nendoroid Sayaka Miki and Nendoroid Kyouko Sakura are back as a special set, wearing their school uniform and casual clothes respectively. They each come with two expressions, and Sayaka comes with her school bag while Kyoko comes with an apple and snacks to munch on, allowing for a number of different scenes from the series!

As a set they are also specially made to look great displayed with each other!

A double Nendoroid set! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Enjoy the company of both Sayaka-chan and Kyouko-chan with a single purchase! They both have a number of optional parts for all sorts of fun! ♡

The sitting parts are my absolute best!!

Kyouko: “You wan’na apple?”
Sayaka: “Sure, I’ll take one!”

Seeing the two of them together gets my imagination racing so quickly… they’re so cute together! (*´∀｀*)

There is something else I just had to try… here is Kyouko: School Uniform Ver.!

Yaaaa （*´ω｀*）aaay!

Kyouko borrowed Sayaka’s uniform for a bit, and the expression and hand parts somehow suited the scene really well too! Of course Kyouko looks great in her casual outfit too!

The two smiles are so different and each capture their respective personalities so nicely! Sayaka looks like an angel with her smile, while Kyouko has an air of confidence. The base is also larger than normal and rectangular, allowing the two of them to sit together on the same stand!

I’ll be taking a closer look this evening on the live broadcast! Together with the figure’s planner, Yassan!!

Nendoroid G-Class Receptionist

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I am without a doubt an indoors person… but even so, I go out hunting all the time! With that said, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid G-Class Receptionist!

From ‘Monster Hunter Frontier G’ comes a Nendoroid of the ‘G-Class Receptionist’, the character who provides various quests!

Her beautiful, dignified outfit has been carefully shrunk into cute Nendoroid size! She comes with both a bright smiling expression as well as a completely original glaring expression. Optional parts include the umbrella she always loves from the game, as well as the classic Monster Hunter pet, a Poogie! You can display her in all sorts of familiar poses from the game, including the pose she takes when you accept a quest at Mezeporta Square!

Ooooooooo （*´▽｀*） ooooooohhh!!

The receptionist of Mezeporta Square, ready to guide all the hunters in cute Nendoroid form! As a Wyverian character, her expression has been made rather differently to the previous Nendoroids of the series!

You’ll notice a couple of little changes compared to normal Nendoroid expressions! Of course her characteristic pointed ears and round earrings have also been faithfully included! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

This is how she looks from the back! ☆

Her doubled tied-up hair looks lovely in Nendoroid size! The slight pink gradient also has a beautiful effect!

As you can see, the stand connects onto the ribbon on her back!

Really though…
Just look at the intricate design of the dress! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

Speaking of intricate, her umbrella is also amazing! Just like the game!

The G-Class receptionist really loves this umbrella! ♪

Obviously it has been shrunk down to fit the Nendoroid design, but it still has a very elegant and refined taste! (*´Д`)

The matching colors with her outfit are also great! (・∀・)

The outfits and accessories of Monster Hunter characters never cease to amaze me! So often I end up picking a weaker outfit just because it looks cuter on my character! You need to take both into consideration! ( -ﾉｪ-)

Hmm… what’s that at her feet?

The adorable little pet with a curly tail!

Yep! A Poogie! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

His beady round eyes are so very cute!!

As you may have realized, the G-Class comes with a smiling expression as well as this glaring expression! Her smile is obviously the most well-known to players of the game, but we decided she needed to have an extra expression as a Nendoroid too!

This photos makes her look a little annoyed that the Poogie is on her head… But there are various other ways this expression can be interpreted too!

For instance…

Here she is looking into the distance… hoping that all the Hunters will return from their hunting safely! The Poogie seems to be wanting some attention on the side too… (´□｀｡)

Or instead holding the open umbrella to the side she looks up into the skies…

After sending out the reckless Hunters with a smile, perhaps she always felt a little worried for them like this!

It must be hard to live life as a quest giver… knowing you are constantly sending people out on jobs you know are dangerous… ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡

Anyway… as you can see, there are a number of possibilities! ★

Nendoroid Renge Miyauchi

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Renge Miyauchi!~na non!

From the slice-of-life comedy anime ‘Non Non Biyori’ comes a Nendoroid of Renge Miyauchi, also known as Ren-chan! She comes with three expressions including a rather blank looking standard expression, her excited face brimming with curiosity as well as the memorable ‘kappa’ face from the series!

She can also be posed in the famous ‘Nyanpasu’ pose, and also comes with various optional parts such as her school bag, recorder and a tanuki, allowing for all sorts of situations! A special lined plate is also included, which you can display behind her to create a more vigorous pose!

Ren-chooooooo (*´Д`) oooooonnn!!!

The youngest of the three Miyauchi sisters, the cute and somewhat bizarre first year elementary student! ♡

The glaring eyes and triangle mouth… they’re too cute!!

Let’s take a look at her from the back! (o・ω・o)

(・∀・) “Her school backpack has been praised by the rest of the staff for looking really realistic!”

We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Hamako!!

(・∀・) “The elementary school backpack is a part of her character, so we made sure to give it some extra detail!”

Even the little metal bits on the side are painted separately! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

You can also see another very important item for her!

(・∀・) “Yep! Her recorder is also included!”

Plus this expression! It wouldn’t be Ren-chan without her kappa expression! ♡

(・∀・) “The V-shape of her mouth can be used to pose her blowing the recorder, but it also works rather well as an embarrassed expression depending on the angle you use!”

Both the optional parts and expressions are just packed with her character and personality! ♪

(・∀・) “There are still more optional parts to come too!”

(・∀・) “The tanuki ‘Gu’ is also included to display along with Renge! As you can see, the kappa face also works as a whistling face!”

Gu has a lovely big size too… he might even just be big enough to…

I’m sure there is a lot more fun to be had between the two of them! Speaking of which…. this excited expression is also fantastic…! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

It brings out the fact that Ren-chan is showing expression even more!!

As a side note, I held the plate up in place with tape for the prototype, but it will stand by itself properly on the final version!

(・∀・) “The cute, listless Renge has been Nendorofied and ready to be loved by fans all over soon!”

Nendoroid Suigintoh

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I’d like to let everyone know that I always make sure to get enough lactic bacterium! On that note, today I’m going take a look at the Nendoroid of the character who taught me how just how important lactic bacterium is…

Nendoroid Suigintoh!! ♡

From the anime series ‘Rozen Maiden’ comes a Nendoroid of the first of the Rozen Maiden dolls, Suigintoh! She comes with three expressions including her standard sneering expression, an upset expression and a chibi expression for some more comical scenes!

She also comes with a variety of optional parts, and her characteristic large wings are of course included! Be sure to pose her together with the previously released Nendoroid Shinku and have the two arguing in cute Nendoroid size!

Yahyaaa-（*´▽｀*）-aaaaah!!!

The second Nendoroid from the Rozen Maiden series, following on from Shinku!

The long-awaited Suigintoh in her jet black dress is here!! ♡

The frills all over her outfit have all been beautifully sculpted too! ♪

This is how she looks from the back! (｀・ω・´)

From the crosses and roses all over the outfit, her headdress, collar and even the tiny little rose on her front have all been so intricately sculpted! Every little piece of her Gothic-style outfit has been shrunk down to Nendoroid size!

Her billowing skirt and partially transparent wings are also not to be missed! ♪

(・∀・) “Have you noticed yet?”

We are joined by Gin-sama’s Planner:Yassan!

(や・∀・) “Suigintoh comes with two different types of wings!”

Now that you mention it… they did suddenly become much shorter!

(や・∀・) “The wings are seen at various different lengths in the series, and we wanted to allow that same feeling with the Nendoroid – at least to a certain degree! We decided to include a large and small version of her wings! Here is a comparison of the two!”

There is definitely a rather different nuance to her depending on which wings you choose! (*´Д｀)=з

(　・ω・） “By the way, these wings connect onto the back hair parts of the figure! Normally wings connect to the back, but these got in the way of the neck joint a bit, so we decided to have them connect to the hair parts instead!

We’re also joined by Suigintoh’s sculptor, Shashaki!!

Gin-sama is filled with intricate parts and amazing wings… but is there anything you particularly enjoyed sculpting, or want to point out to everyone?

(し・ω・） “I think the folded leg parts came out looking really cute! They also have a mysterious sexy appeal to them… I’ve really come to enjoy them!”

(´□｀｡) “It goes with the sneering face perfectly!!!”

Chan-shuu-senpai from the planning team is also here… he is a big fan of Gin-sama!

W-Why are so many people joining me on the blog today?!( ﾟдﾟ)
The alluring charm of Suigintoh…!

(´□｀｡ﾁｬﾝ) “I was in charge of the product photos for her… and I really couldn’t get enough photos of her with her legs folded glaring down at me!!”

(し・ω・）”I was with him while he was working on the photos… he was rather… excited…”

Well we can’t deny that her little devilish look is adorable! ♡

(や・∀・) “It only gets better when you add Shinku into the scene!”

This pose really shows off her personality perfectly! ♡

(し・ω・） “She also comes with an annoyed expression which is my personal favorite! It captures her personality and fits the Nendoroid look really well!

I shall try to feed her Pocky and she will just sit there glaring at me!! ★

I’m fairly certain she will finally give in and accept my gift!

Gin-sama was so cute when eating Pocky…

Saber Extra

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

The hot summer days make me want to take a nice bath! Preferably in a hot spring… or a hot spring, or maybe even a hot spring! I really feel like visiting one more and more everyday…
It’s not just me trying to escape from the fact that WonFes is in 9 working days…!

Today I’ll be taking at a knight known as a fellow bath-lover…

Saber Extra! ♡

From the popular game ‘Fate/EXTRA’ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the heroine, Saber Extra!

She has been sculpted taking the stance of her ultimate move, ‘Aestus Domus Aurea: Golden Theater of the Deranged’, arranged carefully to convey her elegance and power through the figure. Her sexy crimson dress with large openings on the back, as well her semi-transparent petticoat have all been faithfully included on the figure.<

Oooooo （*´▽｀*） oooooh!!

The adorable servant who calls herself an Emperor, dressed in a beautiful red dress! The golden lining of the dress brings out the red so nicely, which is contrasted even more by her pale white skin!

The back of her outfit is magnificent!

Her deceptively showy outfit has been faithfully sculpted down to the smallest of details! (｀・ω・´)

This angle shows off the opening in her back, which gives a lovely look at her shoulder blades… the angle also gives a side look at her rather delicious bosom! But most of all… I want everyone to take note of the reverse side of her knees!! They are amazing! ( -ﾉｪ-)

The base features a powerful aura made in the image of her Noble Phantasm, Aestus Domus Aurea!

At first glance the pose shows more of an elegant stance… but noticing the energy swirling around at her feet shows off the immense power she truly has!! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

(・∀・) “Also take a close look at her expression!”

We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Yassan from the planning team!

(・∀・) “Red Saber has a stuck-up, selfish side, but she also has a very lovable personality – we tried to incorporate that personality in the figure as best as possible! We also focused on getting her grace and elegance across!”

Those eyes are focused and ready for anything! (*´Д`)

(・∀・) ” There are so many things I really like about this figure, but I’ve picked out three that I want to show off in particular!”

– Sculpting of the Body –

(・∀・) “I think anyone will agree that the curves of her back and bottom are definitely one of the highlights!”

The shoulder blades seen through the back, and the unique backwards arched back make for a lovely pose! The skin also looks so very soft to the touch – it’s hard to imagine that it’s really just a figure! ♥

(・∀・) “Speaking of soft to the touch…”

Ta-tawawa…! っ(*´Д｀)=з

(・∀・) “Just look at how the tight fitting top squeezes the skin down! It’s quite the sight! The line up to her collarbone also just adds even more to the effect!”

– The Skirt –

It’s rather transparent! ＜●＞＜●＞

(・∀・) “Of course! The petticoat as a whole is made from semi-transparent parts to recreate the clear, see-through appearance!”

The ability to kind of be able to see… and yet not quite…
It really adds an extra something to the figure!

(・∀・) “Also take note of the details put into the folds of the skirt and petticoat!”

– Overall Balance –

(・∀・) ” Because she is in a rather unique pose with her upper body twisted around, we had to rework the overall balance a number of times!

She is posed preparing her Noble Phantasm, but as I mentioned before the pose has a very elegant appeal to it as well! (*´Д｀)=з

(・∀・) “The balance of the figure was something that came up a lot when working with the publisher’s supervision as well. We wanted to have a pose that kept a feeling of her dancing elegantly, light on her feet – while still leaving a proud and confident appearance too. Most of this came from how we balanced various parts of the body”

Now that you mention it, she way her skirt is fluttering around and the movements of her hands do look rather dance-like! The Aestus Domus Aurea sword could almost be seen as some kind of dancing tool instead of the weapon it truly is!

(・∀・) “I hope fans will enjoy adding this elegant Saber to their collections!”

Aircraft Carrier Wo-Class

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! The other day just before the typhoon came by Japan, I looked out the window to see a cloudy sky with a few hints of blue peeking out… it seemed like the perfect to take photos of Wo-Class!

Today I’ll be taking a look at the 1/8th scale Wo-Class! You can also take a look at Chan-shuu’s blog on her the other day! I decided to make use of the cloudy sky and the Skytree for today’s background!

Let’s start off with a look from each angle! (｀・ω・´)

Waaahhh…. (*´Д｀)=з

This figure is sculpted by Iwanaga Sakurako (Shokubutu Shojo-en), who is also responsible for other amazing figures such as Inori Yuzuriha and Hatsune Miku: Deep Sea Girl ver.! As usual the attention to detail is impeccable!

It feels more like I’m looking at some amazing sculpture in an art museum!

The way her ribs can be seen in front of the soft looking white skin….!

Her eyes seem to be looking far into the distance, and yet have a strong determination to them! They just suck you in… (/ω＼)

It’s a little hard to tell from the photos, but the eyes actually have a slight gloss to them, which almost makes them look a little bit wet.

She also looks amazing from the back!

The curves from her thighs down to the back of her knees… the lovely round bottom…. and the twist in her body adding stretches to her skin – they all make the figure feel so very real! (´□｀｡)

The look in her eyes makes her seem to be staring out distantly, as if staring out to the unknown human world… and yet while looking at her body you can’t help but notice all the human-like qualities… she is so similar and so mysterious all at the same time…

Staring at her for awhile makes me feel rather… peculiar… (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Plus! She also comes with an amazing base, made in the image of a raging ocean!

Just look at the power in the waves beneath her!!

Her large hat can even be removed for a rather different look! (o・ω・o)

* My background got all dark around here… (；´∀｀)

The merging of mechanical and organic on her design is simply fantastic! It literally gives me the chill to look at this!! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

Even the included airships each seem to have a life of their own… (*´Д｀)=з

The rugged, bumpy looking skin, and the details on the blue eye section…. they leave me speechless,,,! Just look at them – the inside looks all mechanical like a camera lens or something! ♪

Nendoroid Petite: KanColle

I’m counting the sleeps until Summer Break! It’s only next month, but I’m already looking forward to festivals and shaved ice!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at some figures that suit the Summer! ♡

Nendoroid Petite: KanColle!

From ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a set of cute little KanMusu, here to join the popular articulated ‘Nendoroid Petite’ series of trading figures! The six characters that were selected the most popular in Comptiq’s popularity polls are all in the set – Kongo, Haruna, Kaga, Kitakami, Zuikaku and Shokaku are all ready to set sail! Display your favorite characters in all sorts of places! ♪

Ooooooo-（*´▽｀*）-oooooh!!!

The six characters voted most popular by admirals in Comptiq have been shrunk down to adorable Nendoroid Petite size! They’re so cute and tiny, and yet all the detail of their ship parts has been faithfully preserved!! ♥

Let me take a closer look at them one-by-one! (｀・ω・´)

– Kongo –

“I am the English-born returnee, Kongo! Nice to meet you!”

Kongo of course already has a full-sized Nendoroid, but now fans can enjoy her in an even smaller size! Even so, the details on her outfit are spectacular!

“It’s our turn! Follow me! Everyone, keep up!”

Even each of the turrets on her back has been sculpted separately, and her rather unique hair style is incredibly intricate! (｀・ω・´)

To give you a little better idea for size, here she is displayed with Nendoroid Petite Mikudayo!!

Although the height remains the same as any other Nendoroid Petite, the huge ship parts give her a bit more overall volume! (；･`ω･´)

Although I think Mikudayo is still winning in terms of presence…

– Haruna –

“If you’re happy with me, I’ll be glad to rejoin you any time!”

The third of the four Kongo-class battleships: Haruna! （*´▽｀*）

She has a similar pose to Medicchu Haruna, but definitely has a notably different chibi style! ♪

“I refuse to let you do as you please!”

I’ve always loved Haruna’s stern battle quotes! (●´∀｀●)

Once again, the details on the ship parts is fantastic, but Haruna also boasts incredibly dynamic hair flowing behind her as well as an adorable miko priestess outfit!

– Kitakami –

“I am… a brand new Kitakami. A more mature version – fully loaded with oxygen torpedoes.”

(・∀・) “We decided to go with the Kitakami Kai Ni Torpedo Cruiser, as I’m sure it is the most used among admirals!”

We’re joined by the product’s planner, Kyojin!

(・∀・) “We did include extra parts to half create the Kai Ni version of Kitakami on the Nendoroid version, but the Nendoroid Petite has outfit and all in the heavier version! I love this version of her!”

The short-sleeved sailor outfit does suit her very nicely! (´□｀｡)

“This is nice… I’m quivering with excitement! Thank you!”

Take note of her ship parts and the back of her uniform too! If you’re more of a fan of the long sleeved light cruiser version of Kitakami, then be sure to check out the full-size Nendoroid Kitakami as well! Currently up for preorder!

“I’m aircraft carrier Kaga. You’re my Admiral? I have fairly high expectations of you.”

Nanoha, Fate and Hayate: Yukata Ver.

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I saw a pear flavoured Gari-*ri-Kun Popsicle and realised that we are well into the summer! I relied a lot on them last year to get me through the heat, and I’m sure they will be needed again this year!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at some figures dressed for the Summer! ♪

Nanoha Takamachi: Yukata Ver., Fate Testarossa: Yukata Ver. and Hayate Yagami: Yukata Ver.!!

Oooooohhhh!!! （*´▽｀*）

The magical girls are all dressed up in yukatas together! Each of the yukatas have colors and patterns that match up with the respective characters as well!

They also come holding paper fans, balloon yoyos and candy apples to bring out the festival atmosphere!

Let’s take a closer look at them one-by-one! (｀・ω・´)

First up…

Nanoha Takamachi: Yukata Ver.

From the popular anime ‘Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the MOVIE 2nd’ comes a figure of Nanoha Takamachi wearing a yukata! The yukata provides a whole different charm to her standard barrier jacket appearance, and is packed with cuteness for fans to enjoy. A candy apple and folding fan are both included to help bring out the feeling of a Summer festival. Be sure to add this beautiful magical girl to your collection!

The yukata gives her a much more playful, innocent look compared to her normal barrier jacket! She looks ready to enjoy the festival! (｡・д・｡)

The light blue yukata with cherry blossom prints suits her beautifully! The fact that Raising Heart is a part of her belt is also a lovely touch!

She is holding a candy apple in her right hand!

Not only is the sticky, shiny appearance of the candy apple preserved in figure form, the intricate little fingers holding the stick are amazing too!

Another thing I just have to point out…!

Look at the curves you can make out even through the yukata!

The smooth and silky look of the fabric is also very nicely done! Great work FREEing!! The little peek of her leg is also a really high point for me! (*´Д`)

Next up we have…

Fate Testarossa: Yukata Ver.

From the popular anime ‘Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the MOVIE 2nd A’s’ comes a figure of Fate Testarossa wearing a yukata! Fate has moved away from all the battles, allowing her beautiful smile to be enjoyed by fans in a much more gentle pose. Be sure to add this beautiful magical girl to your collection, and display her with Nanoha and Hayate from the same series!

Is she twisting around to look at me?! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

Fate-chan has a rather mature look with an indigo yukata and bellflower prints!

The cute little feet and toes, and the delicious collarbone are stunning! She can be enjoyed from all sorts of different angles! ♪

That right foot standing up slightly on tippy toes!! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Fate-chan’s sash also features her intelligent device, Bardiche! ♪

She is sculpted holding a fan, and once again the delicate looking fingers are simply amazing! The creases along her arm are also fantastic!

But most of all that dynamic look that she really has just spun around to look behind her is fantastic! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Last but not least, we have…

Hayate Yagami: Yukata Ver.

From the popular anime ‘Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the MOVIE 2nd A’s’ comes a figure of Hayate Yagami wearing a yukata, which brings out a slightly different charm to her normal outfits. Be sure to add this beautiful magical girl to your collection, and display her with Nanoha and Fate from the same series!

A very light purple yukata with spider lily
and other flower prints! So prim, proper and adorable! ♥

I can just hear her voice playing through my head… “What? The yoyo’s for me? Thanks!”

The tight look of the yukata captures her curves all the way up her thighs!

Just like the other two, her yukata design once again also features her device, Schwertkreuz! ♡

She also looks lovely from the back! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

There is no point in putting this into words…!

She looks lovely from any angle, but I definitely think that the look from the back is once of the best! It really gives off a strong feeling of Summer time nostalgia!

The way her legs are visible from the bottom of the yukata is also great!

The elegant yukata is what allows you to enjoy the ladylike charm of Hayate all the more!(´□｀｡)

She and the others are simply a fantastic set!!
