It’s starting to get rather chilly going home at night now! There are quite a few colds going around as well… I need to be careful not to catch one! Everyone be sure to take care of your health!!
Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Devil Homura!!
| From ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie -Rebellion-‘ comes the long-awaited Nendoroid of Devil Homura! Her stunning jet-black dress and devil wings have all been carefully shrunk down into Nendoroid size.
She comes with her standard expression as well as a smiling expression. Optional parts include the dark orb as well as a special hand part holding Kyubey. Enjoy recreating all of your favorite scenes from the movie! |

The devil form of Homura-chan is finally joining the Nendoroid series!♡
I just love the way she is looking down on me with those eyes!!
She even comes with special folded leg parts to recreate the pose from her famous illustration! ♪
Let’s see how she looks from the back! ☆
Her huge wings made up of beautiful feathers, along with her feathery looking dress have all been faithfully preserved in Nendoroid size! Her very revealing back too! ♪
In her hand she holds the Dark Orb!
(・∀・) “Take a close look at how we’ve done her eyes!”
We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Yassan!!
(・∀・) “If you look closely you’ll see the bottom area of her eyes have a slight elevation to it!”
The elevation adds a more lonely feeling to her eyes!
( ･ω･) “The eyes themselves also differ to the previous Nendoroids in the series!”
We’re also joined by Nendoroid Devil Homura’s sculptor and painter, Hidetoshi Nishibu!! (GSC Production Team)
( ･ω･) “The original character designer Ume Aoki has a very unique drawing style that normally has an oblique line through the eye. Devil Homura however, never had this line, and we made sure to have the Nendoroid match!”
Oooh! I see!! Σ(・Д・」)
If you compare her eyes to the previous Nendoroids you can see the difference!
( ･ω･) “Things like these changes to the eyes might be small, but these little things all add up to give the figure character! Plus, when fans notice these smaller things it really makes me happy as the sculptor!”
Was there anything else about Devil Homura that felt different compared to the normal Homura?
( ･ω･) “Yep! I used a much darker palette of colors on her hair to help bring out the devil look more!”
I really want to display the two together to see the subtle changes between them! ♪
How about her wings! They look spectacular too!
(・∀・) “Each of the feathers have been sculpted separately… but that’s not all…
The wings also feature points of articulated points for all sorts of different poses!
If you look at my last photo, you’ll notice some of the feathers facing a different direction!
( ･ω･) “There an extra turning point in the middle of the wing that allows you to ‘fold’ the wind up for down! Not to mention that they wings attach to her by a ball joint – the posing options are truly endless!”
This means you can pose the wings opened out wide, or instead curled up like in the first photo of today’s blog! Loads of fun poses to be had! ♪
(・∀・) “Along with her standard downward glance, she also comes with this smiling expression!”

(・∀・) “The inside of her dress is filled with darkness, while her knee-highs feature a lovely argyle pattern recreating her outfit perfectly!”」
