Nendoroid Yudachi Kai-II (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

Today’s Main Feature!!

Today I’m going to be taking a closer look at…
Nendoroid Yudachi Kai-II!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the fourth Shiratsuyu class destroyer in her upgraded form – Yudachi Kai-II! She comes with three face plates including her standard expression, a confident smile to bring flashbacks of the battle of Solomon as well as a blushing smile that captures Yudachi’s innocent side.

She comes with a torpedo to hold in her hand as well as more torpedoes all with shark faces painted on – these can be displayed by her side or instead firing outward to recreate scenes from the game! Effect parts to display the torpedoes launching, shooting effect parts and the fiery effects seen on illustrations of Yudachi Kai-II are all included allowing for all sorts of different combat scenes – recreate the ‘Nightmare of Solomon’ right in your Nendoroid collection!

Just like the previously released Nendoroid Shigure Kai-II she also comes with a swimsuit body part to recreate her ‘Summer’ seasonal outfit! Yakisoba and shaved ice are also included for her to hold to recreate the illustration! Be sure to have an amazing party together with Nendoroid Yudachi Kai-II!

The fourth Shiratsuyu class destroyer Yudachi is joining the Nendoroid series!! The Nendoroid is based on her Kai-II upgrade which gives her those belligerent red eyes, the cute animal ear-like tufts of hair and the lovely white scarf wrapped around her neck! (*´ｪ`*)

In addition to the Kai-II details her standard sailor-style outfit, white sails and even the rotor on the back have all been sculpted so adorably!

Face plates include the standard expression above, as well as…

An adorable smiling face that just makes you think of her cute ‘poi!’ way of talking, as well as…

“I’ll show you the ‘Nightmare of Solomon’!!“

A confident smile that shows off her fearless side as she sails into battle is also included!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

In addition, the photo above also makes use of the included fiery effect parts as well as the hand-held torpedoes that also feature flame effects!

Some of you may remember this pose above as it captures the illustration by kujouitiso that was used for this previously announced scale figure of Yudachi Kai-II! ヽ(●´Д｀●)ﾉ

Plus as with most of the KanColle Nendoroids she also all sorts of effect parts to recreate battle scenes! From torpedo firing effects to cannon firing effects – just look at this firepower!!

The gun battery parts of her ship parts are also articulated allowing you to fire in all different directions as well! (∩・∀・)∩

You can recreate even more different scenes by displaying her with the previously released Nendoroid Shigure Kai-II! ♪

Just like Nendoroid Shigure Kai-II she comes with a swimsuit body to recreate her Summer seasonal outfit!

Plus she also comes with shaved ice and yakisoba to bring out the Summer atmosphere even more!! The parts can also be detached from the hands and be displayed separately or given over to other characters! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

The little details on the food such as the pink gradient on the crunchy shaved ice or the green nori flakes and pickled ginger on the yakisoba are such a pleasure to see! Also note the little spoon and chopsticks!!

Nendoroid Betsu Ten Gai (Thunderbolt Fantasy Sword Seekers)

MWUHAHAHAHAHA!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at….
Nendoroid Betsu Ten Gai!

From the fantasy glove puppetry series with a sequel in the works ‘Thunderbolt Fantasy Sword Seekers’ comes a Nendoroid of Betsu Ten Gai, the unrivalled swordsman and head of the Genkishu with the ability to control the spirits of the dead! He comes with three face plates including his standard expression with a cunning smile, a chibi expression based the character drawn by Yuupon as well as an expression based on the actual glove puppet used in the series!

He comes with a small version of the mask he wore when he first appeared in the series as well as a Nendoroid-sized sword! Last but not least, one of the mysterious Miyoku creatures he used for movement and more is also included! Be sure to display him with the previously announced Nendoroid Lin Setsu A and recreate the Thunderbolt Fantasy Sword Seekers atmosphere in your collection!

“In this world the sword is proof of power.
That is a truth that cannot be refuted.”

The character known as the ‘Bones of Creation’ who is the head Genkishu and is out to steal the powerful sword from the Tan family – Betsu Ten Gai is joining the Nendoroid series!

Ever since he first appeared in the series I’ve always been amazed at his fantastic outfit… and it has been so beautifully converted into Nendoroid size!! Together with that haughty smile and the mask he holds in his hand it really looks like one of the scenes from the series has been completely transformed from puppet into Nendoroid! I can just imagine his lines playing through my head! ★

“I shall take it while you live, or pull it from your dead body. It makes no difference to me.“

Both his hair and his outfit have a mostly black base, but the various decorations and colors that make up the design have all been faithfully included on his Nendoroid design making for a very extravagant looking Nendoroid! (*´ｪ`*)

▲ The little skull accessories have been been sculpted on!

From the back you can see the back of his collar is gold!

I really wanted to keep the the unique feeling of his cape as well as keep him easy to play with even with those who aren’t familiar with Nendoroids, and thus he can stand up without the need of a Nendoroid stand! You can easily balance him on his cape! It was all thanks to the long outfit that this was possible, but I think it worked out really well! (灬ºωº灬)

His sword ‘Tokusei‘ is also of course included in cute Nendoroid size!

On the final product the hanging accessory will be completely attached!

I don’t know if that made any sense… how do I explain this… the end part that is currently more of a ‘C’ will become an ‘O’!

Anyway, moving on to his other expressions, first off we have a special face plate based on the chibi expression based the character drawn by Yuupon – similar to the one included with Nendoroid Lin Setsu A! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Plus a new part that was announced today – a Miyoku!!

In the series these bird-like creatures were used for transport, but in Nendoroid form they work best as a cute little partner! The unique skeletal appearance of the design has been faithfully preserved! Not to mention those glowing red eyes!! ★

The sword can also be removed from its scabbard like so!

Onto his third expression…

Thick eyebrows, clear eyes and puffed-up lips… a special face plate based on the expression on the original doll!!

You can also pose him pointing forward like below, recreating the banquet scene in the Seven Sins Tower with Lin Setsu A!

Nendoroid Wilhelmina (HIGH SCHOOL FLEET)

It’s suddenly become rather cold once again! It’s days like this that I want to sit at home with some nice warm soup and a blanket!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Wilhelmina!

From the popular anime series ‘HIGH SCHOOL FLEET’ comes a Nendoroid of Wilhelmshaven High School’s Wilhelmina Braunschweig Ingenohl Friedeburg – also simply known as Wilhelmina! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a shouting expression as well as the frowning expression she made when given natto in the series.

Optional parts include a binocular telescope with its stand which can be displayed together with the parts included with Nendoroid Akeno Misaki to bring out the atmosphere of a ship’s bridge even more! She also includes both the eintopf and natto dishes allowing you to recreate all sorts of different scenes from the series!

“Who is the captain of this ship?! I see nothing but amateurs!”

The deputy captain of one the Admiral Graf Spee Deutschland-class battlecruiser – Wilhelmina Braunschweig Ingenohl Friedeburg joining the Nendoroids! Her long blond hair and beautiful blue eyes that make her look so western and yet she speaks with a Hiroshima dialect! I love that strange contrast!! ♥

Her uniform and skirt have a bit of a militaristic feel to them but they still also have cute frills and details that keep it looking so cute! Especially in Nendoroid size! ♪

Also take a closer look at her hair and you’ll notice there is a very gentle pink gradient that adds a soft appearance to her hair! You can just picture the see breeze blowing through her silky hair!!

The expression I’ve been using up until here is this lovely smiling face plate and she comes with a special part that really suits her smile – the warm German stew, eintopf! ☆

▲ You can see the little details of the stew and she even comes with a fork to hold!

If I had some eintopf and some worst sausage I would be able to spend some days on the sea happily with Miina!! It looks so nice and warm and perfect for a cold day… I wish I could have some now! (*´﹃｀*)

However… while she loves her German foods she doesn’t really like her Japanese meals… and she comes with a certain Japanese meal as well to recreate this popular scene – facial expression and all!! ★

A frowning expression and some natto beans!

The sticky, stringy appearance of the natto have been faithfully included on the beans she is holding with her chopsticks! Not to mention this expression… I can think of so many fun scenes that it could be used in!! (/ω＼)

She also comes with a more serious, confident expression perfect combat scenes with this shouting face plate!!

The little braided piece of hair on the side is fitted with a ball joint allowing it to move back and forward to create more dynamic scenes like this one!! ♪

In addition to the face plates and food, she also comes with more accessories that allow you to bring out the HIGH SCHOOL FLEET atmosphere! For example, this binocular telescope with its stand! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Simply displaying it by her side instantly creates a scene from the series!!

Nendoroid and figma Snow Miku 2017

Today we’re going to be taking a look at the 2017…
Snow Miku Figures!! ♡

The theme for the 2017 Snow Miku was ‘Stars and Constellations of Hokkaido’s Winter’! We received a huge selection of entries for the design, but the winner this time around was this lovely illustration by Nishina!

In addition, we also got this adorable design for Rabbit Yukine illustrated by LF to display together with Snow Miku!

In the past, all the votes for these outfits were done on a livestream on NicoNico Douga, but this time around we made a special site to vote allowing fans all around the world to get their votes in! ♡

A big thank you to everyone who voted!!

Let’s take a look at how the figures have turned out this time around… starting with the Nendoroid!! ♪ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Nendoroid Snow Miku: Twinkle Snow Ver.!

This Winter, Snow Miku will descend from the starry night sky!

This year’s Snow Miku has been sculpted by GSC’s Takuya Ichihashi! She has such a romantic and yet still so cute appearance to her!! The soft, airy design of her outfit with long sleeves and lovely frills, her sparkling twin-tails and those ribbons in her hair with a music score written along them… the details are amazing!!

She also comes with a magical baton to display her conducting a Winter symphony! ♪

There are also a lot of parts that bring out the ‘starry sky’ theme nicely!

Moving on, we also have…

figma Snow Miku: Twinkle Snow ver.!

Snow Miku’s twinkling symphony sounds through the starry skies!

This innocent Snow Miku with a brilliant smile on her face brings out that fairy-tail atmosphere so well!! The music stand and sheet music included with her are so amazingly detailed, and the winking expression on Rabbit Yukine’s face is also a lovely touch! ♪

Plus, she also comes with this!!

A special crescent-moon shaped base!! ☆

Other accessories and expressions will also be included, so stay tuned!!

Look forward to a romantic evening under the stars with Snow Miku figures this winter!!

Date A Live Nendoroid & Nendoroid More: Dress-Up Rereleases

There are only 44 days left of 2017!! We’re getting to the time of year where Christmas lights are seen everywhere!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a selection of items that have recently been announced for rerelease! (∩・∀・)∩

Let’s first take a look at the Nendoroids! ♪

Left: Nendoroid Kurumi Tokisaki
Right: Nendoroid Tohka Yatogami

Both of these Nendoroids from Date A Live are dressed up in their lovely Astral Dresses which make use of semi-transparent parts to recreate that see-through, light feeling of the material in the series!!

The details on the sculpting of their various accessories is also fantastic!

Along with their standard expressions above, they also comes with special expressions designed for combat scenes! Tohka comes with a shouting expression while Kurumi comes with a maddened expression!!

In addition, Tohka comes with a blushing embarrassed expression and Kurumi comes with a condescending expression! ♥

I figured these expressions would look even better with different outfits, so here we are going to move onto our next product currently up for rerelease…

Here we have Nendoroid Todomatsu Matsuno wearing the Sacred White tuxedo type Dress Up parts! Todomatsu will be on sale from the 24th November 2016!

Other than the two colors above, the skirt type is also available in an aqua color, and the tunic type in citrus and lime colors! Plus there is also a secret outfit for a total of six different types to collect!

The secret isn’t really a secret anymore, so here it is! ★

I’m sure you can think of some characters that would look great in one of these outfits!! They are so cute!! ♡

Other than this color there is also Passion Red, Active Blue, Pop Yellow and Shiny Orange as well as one secret outfit for a total of six to collect!

Here is the secret version for the cheerleader set! ★

Here we have Nendoroid Jushimatsu who will also be available from the 24th November wearing the secret cheerleader outfit! This outfit looks great on both male and female Nendoroids! ☆

Nendoroid More: Dress Up Swimsuits!

The Bikini Type (tropical pink)!

This time around I decided to use Nendoroid Shigure Kai Ni as I thought she would look great in a bikini!! She will be in stores from the 28th November!! ♡

Along with this bikini there are also two different school swimsuits in classic navy and pure white as well as sexy bikinis in ocean blue and sexy black! There is also one secret to collect for a total of six different types! Depending on the type a beach ball or beach mat and tropical flower are also included!!

The secret in the swimsuit series is more of a towel!!

So many different options to transform your Nendoroids!! It’s so fun finding nice matches with the Dress Up series and certain characters!

Today we’re going to be taking a look at an idol who also likes hamburgers!
Nendoroid You Watanabe!

From the anime series ‘LoveLive! Sunshine!!’ comes a Nendoroid of the Aqours member You Watanabe wearing her outfit from the song ‘Aozora Jumping Heart’! She comes with both a standard expression as well as a playful winking expression with a big smile that shows her teeth, and she also comes with glasses parts which can be worn for a quick change of style!

A selection of different parts are also included which allow you to pose her in different dance poses from the opening theme of the anime series! Be sure to enjoy her together with the other members of Aqours! ♪

“All aboard!! Full speed ahead!!”

She dreams to one day follow in her father’s footsteps and become the captain of a ferry, and also has a talent for high diving which is good enough at it to qualify for the national team – but for now she is trying her best as an idol in the Aquors idol group! the cute and energetic You Watanabe is joining the Nendoroid series! ♥

Her sailor-style outfit from the song ‘Aozora Jumping Heart’ has been sculpted in lovely detail – the accessories on the front, her earrings, puffy shorts and the frills on the hem all look lovely!

The wavy appearance of her hair has also been very faithfully converted into Nendoroid size! Even from the back you can tell it is You-chan just based on the hairstyle! ♪

Nendoroid Rena (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars)

I can’t believe how much warmer it is this week compared to last week! These sudden jumps in temperature are sure to cause a lot of people to get sick… be sure to take care of yourselves in this erratic weather!

Nendoroid Rena!

From the popular anime series ‘Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars’ comes a Nendoroid of Rena! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a smiling expression and a combat expression.

Optional parts include her smartphone with its cute case, Alecto transformation effect parts that include the Regalia key, a special base made to look like the inside of the Alecto as well as a magic circle effect plate. The various parts allow you to display Rena in various situations from everyday scenes to combat scenes, so be sure to add her to your collection!

“I’ll protect Yui.”

From Actas’s original mecha anime ‘Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars’ comes a Nendoroid of the young girl who is always there to protect Yui – Rena! The curls on the ends of her cute twin-tailed hair, the ribbon that ties on her poncho and the lovely frilly outfit… Rena has been beautifully captured in Nendoroid size! ♡

▲ The twin-tails connect with a ball joint allowing them to be moved around for slightly different nuances!

Her standard expression is the rather blank expression you can see in the photos above, but she also comes with the adorable smiling expression she would often show when together with Yui! (*´ｪ`*)

As you can see she also comes with her smartphone in its cute cat-shaped cover! Just looking at her smile makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

But perhaps the most memorable scenes of Rena were her combat scenes! She also comes with a confident combat expression to recreate that side of her as well! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Plus as you’ve probably noticed she comes with a sharp, metallic looking base based on the inside of Alecto! ★

Nendoroid Yamanbagiri Kunihiro (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Greetings everyone! I have recently discovered that wrapping up one’s face is very useful for stopping the cold! Chan-shuu from Good Smile Company’s planning team here! (@gscs_hirase)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the most recent addition to ORANGE ROUGE’s Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- Nendoroid line-up…

Nendoroid Yamambagiri Kunihiro!

From the popular browser and smartphone game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the powerful sword who thinks too little of himself – Yamambagiri Kunihiro!

He comes with three face plates including his standard expression, a combat expression as well as an embarrassed expression based on his line “Don’t call me pretty!”. Additionally, his sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing for various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“I… am no fake.”

The uchigatana that is more than strong enough but has a bit of a self-esteem issue is joining the Nendoroid series! The cloth he has wrapped around his body and head has been faithfully included and specially designed to not get in the way of the articulation allowing for all sorts of different poses while still keeping the unique shape of his character!

If you look close you’ll also notice that his pants and the cloth have been sculpted with slight damages to them, keeping even the smallest details in tact on the Nendoroid – you can even see the small little hole in the hood near his right eye!

The damaged appearance as well as the slight change in color along the edges with a gentle gradient helps to capture the appearance from the original illustration quite nicely! There is a parting line on the back on the prototype, but this line is planned to be removed from the actual version!

▼ Next up we have a combat pose!

▲ A confident expression for combat!

This expression is based on the combat illustration from the game and makes use of his ‘combat’ expression! Compared to his standard expression he suddenly looks a lot more determined and ready for a battle!! (;ﾟ∀ﾟ)=3

Also note the details on his outfit, such as the white stripes on his jacket that go all the way along to his back! Each with two lines each time!! The intricate pattern on the tassets have also been carefully converted into Nendoroid size!

Like the previous Touken Nendoroids you can choose to display Yamambagiri with his sword drawn or sheathed! This also means that you can display him with his right hand holding the sword and his left hand holding the scabbard – it makes it look like he has just drawn his sword for a fight!

▼ Next up we have his third expression…

▲ An Embarrassed Expression!

The way he is averting his eyes with a slight blush… it captures the line “Don’t call me pretty!” perfectly!! This expression isn’t actually seen in the game, and was just based on that specific line!(*´ω｀*)

▲The hood comes in a second version!

This alternate version allows you to cover up more of his face which works together with the embarrassed expression so nicely! The way he is just peeking out slightly shows his embarrassment all the more!

Just like all the previously released Nendoroids from Touken Ranbu, Yamambagiri comes with a special base that features his sword symbol printed on the top!

By the way, you may have noticed that today’s review featured some amazing Japanese-themed Nendoroid-sized backgrounds! This is thanks to this amazing playset that went up for rerelease today!

Nendoroid More T-34/85 (Girls und Panzer der Film)

Today is the 11th November! 11/11! I need to eat some Pretz as it’s Pocky & Pretz day! But that aside, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid More T-34/85!

From the popular anime film ‘Girls und Panzer der Film’ comes a series of tanks to join the Nendoroid More series. The fourth in the series is one of the tanks used by Pravda Girls High School – the T-34/85!

The details of the tank have been carefully preserved while shrinking the tank down to cute Nendoroid Petite size, the various hatches on the top of the tank as well as the periscope guard can be opened and closed! Be sure to display the tank together with the Nendoroid Petite: Girls und Panzer series!

It’s all over once Katyusha arrives!

The tank used by the ‘small tyrant’ Katyusha for Pravda Girls High School is joining the Nendoroid More series! – The T-34/85!

This is the fourth tank in this Nendoroid More series!

This should give you a good idea for the size of the Nendoroid More T-34/85! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Height: Approx. 85mm / Width: Approx. 190mm!

While it is a nice compact design, all the details and the original shape of the tank have all been very faithfully converted into Nendoroid Petite size!

It’s quite a lot bigger when compared to the previous Carro Veloce CV-33 (L3/33) tankette!

The texture and details on the caterpillar tread on these tanks always amazes me! The various little bolts and other parts are also very intricate!

As you can see from this photo, the turret hatch, loader hatch and driver hatch are all articulated and can be opened and closed! ♪

▲ No replaceable parts are required! ♪

The hatches on the top are also the perfect size to fit characters from the Nendoroid Petite: Girls und Panzer series in! They are sold separately though!

The exact way they will fit in is still being adjusted, but it will most likely end up with a focus on letting Nonna ride stably by inserting just her upper body and head part with the legs removed! (The photo above actually still has the legs attached, but this will likely change!)

In addition, the turret can be moved to the left and right! ★

Speaking of moving, not only does the driver’s hatch open, but the periscope guard can also be opened and closed separately! ♪

Nendoroid Tetsuro Kuroo (Haikyu!!)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Tetsuro Kuroo!

From ‘Haikyu!!’, the popular volleyball manga series with a third anime season currently airing, comes a Nendoroid of Nekoma High Boys’ Volleyball Club’s captain known as the “Calm and Collected Tactician” – Tetsuro Kuroo! He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a grinning expression with sharp eyes as well as the malicious smile he had when handshaking the captain of the Karasuno High Volleyball Club’s captain.

The Nendoroid allows you to recreate a number of memorable scenes from the series and also comes with a volleyball as well as a special base made in the image of a volleyball court. Optional parts include a team jersey that can be worn over his shoulders as well as a calico cat! Be sure to display him with the other characters from the series and recreate all sorts of different scenes!

“We are the blood of the team. We keep flowing, providing oxygen so that the ‘brain’ can function normally.”

The Nekoma High Boys’ Volleyball Club’s captain, Tetsuro Kuroo is joining the Nendoroids!! His sharp gaze to eye down his opponents, the aloof mouth and that rather messy hairstyle that looks a bit like bed hair have all been faithfully sculpted in Nendoroid size!

He is also the 10th Nendoroid from Haikyu!!

⇒ Haikyu!! Nendoroids

Let’s take a look at the different face plates he comes with! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Along with the standard expression that looks ready to take on anything, he also comes with this expression from when he first shook hands with Daichi from Kurasano High’s team…

This malicious smile! (´□｀｡)

Plus, if you look on the outstretched hand part you’ll notice there is a little something to show that this isn’t a genuine smile…

…! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

He might be smiling, but there is a lot of power being put into that hand!

Moving onto the third expression which is an expression perfect for posing him in a volleyball match – a grinning expression with serious, sharp eyes! (/ω＼)

Normally a ‘grinning’ expression is more of a cute, smiling expression… but in Kuro’s case it just shows his determination to win the battle!!!

He normally looks so calm and collected, but this expression shows his passion for the game once things get started!

The various expressions allow you to enjoy all sorts of different sides of Kuroo’s personality! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

In addition, he also comes with his team jersey which he can wear over his shoulders!

Combined with the folded arm pose you can pose him as if just before a game starts – such an intimidating look!
