I want to have a nabe party before it warms up too much! I also wouldn’t mind a takoyaki party, but I haven’t had one since I was a student! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Satori Komeiji

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the ‘Touhou Project’ comes a Nendoroid of Satori Komeiji, the girl who can read the minds of others. She comes with three expressions including a standard expression, an expression with her eyes half-closed as well as an embarrassed expression.

Her pets Okuu and Orin are also both included, and she also comes with a red ransel backpack that she can wear on her back. Special hand parts are also included to create a joint pose with the previously announced Nendoroid Koishi Komeiji, so be sure to enjoy the Nendoroid Komeiji sisters together!

The girl who causes even the spirits to quiver in fear!

The rather feared young girl that can read the minds of others, Satori Komeiji is joining the Nendoroids!! Her third eye has been faithfully included together with the stringy appearance of the cords that swirl around her! ε=(｡・д・｡)

△ The ends of the cord are cute yellow heart shapes!

Her soft looking light purple hair has been sculpted with detail down to the tips!

The details of her outfit are included all around!

Her first expression part has one eye closed and another half closed as a bit of a hard-to-approach expression, while her second expression is a much more gentle looking expression with eyes half-closed! ★

The slightly open mouth makes her look so innocent and defenceless! (*ﾟｰﾟ*)


Plus, she also includes her two pets Orin and Okuu!! 

Let’s take a closer look at the two of them – Utsuho Reiuji (Okuu)  and Rin Kaenbyou (Orin)!

They both look so adorable!! (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧

Orin’s neck is fitted with a joint allowing you to swivel her gaze a little!

Anyway, moving onto Satori’s 3rd expression…

An embarrassed expression!

Complete with upset eyebrows and a downcast look! ♪

Plus an ever so slight blush to bring it altogether! She also comes with a ransel backpack part which matches with her pastel coloring very nicely! ♥︎

If you combine this expression with the pose from earlier…

She’s so cute!! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♥︎

The backpack itself may have been shrunk down to Nendoroid size, but it still has very nice detail to enjoy! ♪

It connects into the stand connector on on back!

The Nendoroid stand then connects into the bottom of the backpack to keep her nice and stable! (・∀・)

Yuudachi Kai Ni

I’m already starting to show signs of hay fever and the pollen levels aren’t even high yet! The daily battle against the pollen is set to begin soon!

But anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale…

Yuudachi Kai Ni!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the fourth Shiratsuyu Class Destroyer, Yuudachi Kai Ni! The figure has been designed to be displayed in combat with the previously released Shigure Kai Ni, and is based on an original illustration by kujouitiso specially drawn for the figure. The dynamic pose of the figure is made even more fascinating by the effect parts that swirl around her.

She holds torpedoes in one hand to show she is in mid-combat, yet the expression on her face captures her determined personality even in the heat of battle. The ship parts have also been intricately sculpted, and the turrets as well as the torpedo launchers on her legs are of course fitted with joints to add slightly different nuances when displaying her! The ship parts are also sculpted to look physically heavy to contrast against Yuudachi’s soft looking skin and create a figure that fans will be proud to gaze at for years to come!

“Right, let’s have ourselves a lovely party!”

A lovely scale figure of the fourth Shiratsuyu Class Destroyer, Yuudachi Kai Ni in battle mode! 

The two tufts of hair that look a bit like animal ears as well as the red eyes that make Yuudachi her ‘Kai Ni’ have all been faithfully included on the figure! The slight pink gradient of her hair has also been preserved! ♡

△ The feeling of movement brought on from the sculpt is also fantastic! (・∀・)

If we take a look at her from the back…

Most of Yuudachi is blocked by her huge ship parts!

Plus the torpedo launchers on her thighs as well as the gun barrels on the turrets feature articulated parts allowing for slightly different nuances when posing her!

The fiery effect parts that surround her show the intense battle she is in, creating a dynamic figure that really captures the atmosphere of the KanColle universe! The red hot flames are also of course a show that Yuudachi is the destroyer that boasts the highest firepower of them all! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾

△ The red flames coupled with her red eyes make
her seem to be burning with fighting spirit!

She is posed as if pulling down the white scarf down a bit with a bit of a grin on her face, as if she had just launched an attack of her own!

Plus if you look a little further down, you’ll also notice that the wind is blowing her skirt up quite a fair amount, making low angle shots for the blog quite difficult! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Moving a little higher up, her rather impressive bosom is beautifully sculpted with the rather tight outfit showing off her curves very nicely!! The lines formed by her bent arms and legs are also really nice! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

On the other hand, we also have the mechanical looking ship parts to contrast against her soft looking skin! Let’s take a closer look at those parts – notice that the ship parts feature glossy areas, half-glossy areas as well as flat areas to really recreate that ship-like appearance effectively! ♥︎

△ Even a little ladder is included on the funnel! ☆

Her shiny shoes and slightly transparent socks also look lovely!
Note the little antennae on the back! ♡₍₍ ◝(・ω・)◟ ⁾⁾♡

△ The ship parts also boast lovely gradient paintwork.

Another area on the ship parts that I adore…

The white sail billowing in the wind!

The sail itself couldn’t be completely seen in the original illustration, so we had to assume how this area looked in order for the sail to blow outward like this – it ended up with these three strings connected at the bottom!

Last but not least, there is also a red ship propeller on her back! Not to mention that each of the torpedoes in her hands also each have a little golden propeller on the end!

△ The comical expressions on the torpedoes are also a cute touch! (●´ω｀●)

So much to see on a single figure! Add the destroyer to your collection!

Nendoroid En Yufuin

I eat chocolates without even realizing what I’m doing! I know I should stop buy I also know my body will not let me! *nom* (๑´ㅂ`๑) *nom*

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid En Yufuin!

From the anime series ‘Cute High Earth Defense Club Love!’ comes a Nendoroid of the Binan High School 3rd year student En Yufuin in his transformed form – Battle Lover Cerulean! He comes with three expression parts including his standard expression, a smiling expression and a sighing expression!Optional parts include his ‘Love Stick’ wand to display him firing out splash attacks, as well as parts that allow you to place him in his post transformation pose! A special bath-time body part is also included which allows you to display him relaxing at the Kurotamayu bath house as well! Enjoy all sorts of fun scenes from the series!

Hirameki Prince, Battle Lover Cerulean!

The Binan High School 3rd year student who could do almost anything he puts his mind to but never really puts his mind to anything, En Yufuin is joining the Nendoroids! ♥︎

His unique hairstyle and lovely blue and white outfit have all been faithfully converted to Nendoroid size! 

Even the little ribbon at the top of his chest and the little accessories around it have been intricately sculpted!

From the back you also get a nice look at his light and wavy hair!! Not to mention the awesome tailcoat jacket!! (*´Д｀)=з

△ The gentle flow of his hair is so beautifully done! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Optional parts include his Love Stick allowing you to pose him as if firing out his splash attacks! He also comes with various different arm and leg parts allowing you to recreate other popular scenes from the series!

For example…

“All you who would defile this beloved Earth…”

You can display him in the pose just after his transformation scene! (●´ω｀●)

“…I shall teach you the power of love!”

It wouldn’t be right if he couldn’t take these poses!

The ‘Battle Lover’ pose is also available in Nendoroid size! Plus if you use the same pose but switch out to his standard expression… it’s like he lost all of his inspiration!

Hobby Maker’s Joint Figure Exhibition Winter 2016: Part 1

Today I’m going to be bringing everyone some photos from the recent Hobby Maker’s Joint Figure Exhibition Winter 2016!

 

What is the Hobby Maker’s Joint Figure Exhibition?

The event is a special industry-only exhibition run by Good Smile Company which allows dealers and the media to get a close look at upcoming releases from various manufacturers. The event includes the most recent works of various different companies!

Just like last time, the event was held at the Akihabara UDX building!

Now that the company offices are also in Akihabara, it was nice and close for me to go and take photos! The amount of companies on display this time around was also a new record!! (・∀・)

With WonFes only just behind us, all the latest goodies from each company was on display – each and every item looked so amazing! The event also has distributors and wholesalers in attendance, making it a great place to create new business connections too! (*´Д｀)=з

This blog will be taking a look at the Good Smile Company Corner!

The way her hair is sculpted blowing to the side makes her seem like she is really out at sea! The details on her outfit, the ship parts and the sea planes are also all fantastic!

Plasmagica’s vocalist and guitarist! ★

The little Myumon version of Cyan is also included! You can’t quite see it in this photo, but her tail is there!

Nendoroid Snow Miku: Snow Owl Ver.

Snow Miku has reached its 7th anniversary this year, and once again this year’s design from piapro was decided by fans during a NicoNico Live Broadcast, and has been transformed into a Nendoroid! The theme this year was ‘Winter Sports’, and the winning design was this active, playful design illustrated by Kotatsu Otogi!The Nendoroid includes three expressions including an energetic smiling expression, a playful giggling expression and a chibi expression with tightly shut eyes. The knitted hat made in the image of an owl has been included with the figure as an actual Nendoroid-size knitted hat. She also comes with a variety of sporty goods including a snowboard, skis with ski poles and goggles! A scarf as well as snowball fight parts are also included to ensure that Miku has a great time in the snow!An alternate body part connected to the skis is also included to display her in action, and a special snowy white base with blue snowflakes is also included to bring out the Winter atmosphere! Medicchu Granblue Fantasy: Lyria & Jita Idol Ver. Set

From the anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a huge Dekacchu figure of Ranko Kanzaki! Not only is she an impressive size, but she also comes with fire and ice effect parts to bring out the ‘dark power’ that wells inside her! Enjoy the company of the huge Ranko Kanzaki in your collection!

figma Vehicles: Panzer IV Ausf. H “D-Spec”

From the popular anime series Girls und Panzer comes a 1/12th scale figure of the Ankou Team’s tank, the Panzer IV Ausf. H upgraded into to its D-Spec – also known as the Mk.IV Special! The tank is fully assembled and also comes equipped with twin motors allowing it to drive it forward! The model is based on the latest 3DCG data used in the Girls und Panzer movie, ensuring the proportions and details are all faithfully included.

The turret can be rotated and the main battery can be moved up and down allowing the tank to take careful aim. Various hatches around the tank can also be manually opened and closed. You can even easily display figma Miho Nishizumi and the other members of the Ankou Team riding inside the tank!

From the anime series ‘Girls und Panzer’ comes a figma set of the five members of the Ankou team – Miho Nishizumi, Yukari Akiyama, Saori Takebe, Hana Isuzu and Mako Reizei!

I’m currently on a business trip in Taiwan! It’s so much warmer than Japan, it feels like Spring already! (●´ω｀●)

Anyway, today I’m going to show off more photos from this product that recently went up for preorder…

Today I’ll be taking a look at her from eight different angles! ★

The famous illustration of Saber Alter by popular illustrator huke has been transformed into a 1/7th scale figure released together with a high quality replica print of the original illustration!

The intricate details of both her dress and rugged armor have been beautifully sculpted to create a lovely rendition of the illustration. Her pale skin contrasts with the various shades of black in her armor, creating a beautiful mix of colors that look amazing on display. In addition, fans of huke’s works get to enjoy the incredible illustration with a high quality replica print included with the figure. …isn’t she magnificent?!

Each angle brings out a whole different set of amazing details to enjoy!

The jagged parts of the armor look so different depending on the angle you look from, and the contrast between the black, heavy looking armor and her frilly white dress is such a treat for the eyes! The difference between the amount of visible bare skin from the front and the back is also quite a nice highlight for me! I’m going to be taking a much closer look in a more detailed blog next week once I’m back in Japan!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Snow Miku has reached its 7th anniversary this year, and once again this year’s design from piapro was decided by fans during a NicoNico Live Broadcast, and has been transformed into a Nendoroid! The theme this year was ‘Winter Sports’, and the winning design was this active, playful design illustrated by Kotatsu Otogi!The Nendoroid includes three expressions including an energetic smiling expression, a playful giggling expression and a chibi expression with tightly shut eyes. The knitted hat made in the image of an owl has been included with the figure as an actual Nendoroid-size knitted hat. She also comes with a variety of sporty goods including a snowboard, skis with ski poles and goggles! A scarf as well as snowball fight parts are also included to ensure that Miku has a great time in the snow!An alternate body part connected to the skis is also included to display her in action, and a special snowy white base with blue snowflakes is also included to bring out the Winter atmosphere! figma Vehicles: Panzer IV Ausf. H “D-Spec”

From the popular anime series Girls und Panzer comes a 1/12th scale figure of the Ankou Team’s tank, the Panzer IV Ausf. H upgraded into to its D-Spec – also known as the Mk.IV Special! The tank is fully assembled and also comes equipped with twin motors allowing it to drive it forward! The model is based on the latest 3DCG data used in the Girls und Panzer movie, ensuring the proportions and details are all faithfully included.

The turret can be rotated and the main battery can be moved up and down allowing the tank to take careful aim. Various hatches around the tank can also be manually opened and closed. You can even easily display figma Miho Nishizumi and the other members of the Ankou Team riding inside the tank!

I recently bought a new pair of office slippers! Though I really liked my last pair so it was quite a difficult change!

Anyway! Today I’m going to be taking a look at these two WonFes products!

First up let’s take a closer look at…

Snow Miku has reached its 7th anniversary this year, and once again this year’s design from piapro was decided by fans during a NicoNico Live Broadcast, and has been transformed into a Nendoroid! The sporty and energetic Snow Miku is ready to head for the ski slopes! She looks so cute even from the back! ★

△The twintails are fitted with Nendoroid joints for all sorts of posing options!

This is how the box looks!

It opens in quite a different way to normal Nendoroid packages! As usual the Snow Miku Nendoroid packaging is quite different to the standard Nendoroid packaging design! ☆

The reverse side of the box looks like so! ٩( ‘ω’ )و

The text on the top of the box here reads ‘An action figure ready to take to the snowscape’!

The package illustration also has a familiar looking snow sculpture…

There is actually one more hidden bonus on the package, so be sure to keep a look out for it! (ฅΦωΦ)ฅ

Another part of the figure that has to be noted of of course the knitted hat! 

Each hat has been carefully hand-knitted to ensure it is nice and warm!! ♡

The packaging comes with the hat unattached like so…

So you will need to first remove her twintails, place the hat over her head and then line-up the holes in the hat to match up with the twintail holes! ♪

 △ The buttons on the hat are made with natural wood!
As the hats are handmade please note that each is slightly different though!

This time Miku has joints in her elbows and knees for more active poses!

She also comes with various items for dynamic action scenes!

① Skis

The shiny ski goggles attach to the inside of the front hair parts!

This means that you don’t need to remove the hat each time you attach and remove the goggles! ♪

Plus as I’m sure you’ve noticed…

She comes with a special oblique base made in the image of a ski slope!

This makes her skiing poses even more convincing!

△ The included snow parts also have space to insert the skis and ski poles!

② Snowboard

This connects into small holes on the bottom of her feet! ヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ✧

The snowboard can also be placed in the snow parts above!

③ Snowball

She also comes with a special left hand that allows her to cold the snowball!

Plus this grinning expression is perfect for a snowball fight! A little effect part to display the snowball flying through the air is also included!!

And the more comical chibi expression is perfect for when she slips in the snow! (´□｀｡)

An icy effect part by her feet is also included, and can used for all sorts of different things! The fact that the expression is blushing also makes it quite easy to use in other situations as well!

“D-do you want to have a snowball fight with me?”

This is Snow Miku asking someone she likes out to a snowball fight! I think she would be a bit of a tsundere character! ☆

A lovely smile just as dazzling as the white snow! Plus her outfit has has a bit of a glossy paint job! ★

① Skis

Probably the first Winter sport that comes to most peoples mind! ★

You can also pose her just holding the skis and poles instead, like so…

The above expression is her smiling expression, but her neck-warmer is covering up her mouth creating a bit of a different feeling! ≡Σ((( つ•̀ω•́)つ

Even Rabbit Yukine’s hat looks rather warm and fuzzy!

△The Yukine with the Nednoroid is quite puffy like a plushie,
but the figma version is a little more slimmed down!

② Snowboard

The joints of the figma allow for some awesome jump poses!

The twintails are also fitted with joints to really create a dynamic feeling to the figure that makes it look like she could jump to life at any second! (σ・∀・)σ

Plus, as mentioned during the live broadcast, her goggles can also be removed! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

An alternate hair part for the goggles is included! This expression together with the way she is holding the goggles… this figma allows for so many stories to be told!!  ♪

It makes me sad to think that January has already somehow passed by… the start of February means that WonFes is just around the corner!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Homura Akemi
~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~!

From ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: The Beginning Story / The Everlasting’ comes a scale figure of Homura Akemi in her Puella Magi outfit. The figure is based on the original key visual for the movie, originally illustrated by character designer Ume Aoki.

Even the finer details such as how her hair sways in the wind has been carefully detailed for fans to enjoy in their collection. Be sure to display her with the previously released Kaname Madoka ~The Beginning Story / The Everlasting~!

“I wouldn’t mind being stuck in a never-ending maze… as long as it was for you.”

Dressed up in her Puella Magi outfit with her hair swaying in the wind around her as she looks ahead with wistful eyes – Homura Akemi as a lovely 1/8th scale figure! The figure is based on the original key visual for the movie, originally illustrated by character designer Ume Aoki-sensei!

Both her hands look so amazing! One holding down her hand and another holding a pistol! Not to mention her nails painted a beautiful pink!! ♪

The frilly skirt fluttering around as well is just as lovely, and the creases in her outfit in areas like her elbows and hips look absolutely fantastic! ☆

This is how she looks from the back!

The forward-bent posture she is posed makes the fluttering look of the skirt even more enjoyable from the back! The ribbon on her back also sways around with her hair!! This angle also gets you a nice look at her glossy black tights!!

You can also just see the nape of her neck! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡

The gentle floating feeling of the figure is then completed with these rosy cheeks and adorable expression…

She looks so gentle, and yet the wistful in her eyes is also very clear…

I feel like there is something on the other side of those eyes that I’ll reach if I just keep staring into them. While the pose is overall quite a simple one, it still has so many unique touches and charms! It catches my attention in so many different ways! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Nendoroid Doudanuki Masakuni

Thanks to everyone who tuned into the live broadcast! Without further ado, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Doudanuki Masakuni!

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the simple but strong sword, Doudanuki Masakuni! He comes with three face plates including his standard expression, a shouting expression for combat as well as a troubled expression.

His sword can be displayed sheathed or drawn, and the helmet he holds in his main illustration is also included. His scarf can easily be moved around to match your poses, allowing for various action poses to be taken. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“We’re weapons. The only thing we need to be… is strong.”

The simple yet strong and belligerent sword boy, Doudanuki Masakuni is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

His unique eyebrows as well as the scars on the left side of his face have all been shrunk down into Nendoroid size! The spiky looking appearance of his hair has also been very nicely sculpted giving him that easy-going look! (。・ω・)ノ゛

Plus that area of bare, manly abs between his sarashi and scarf!

The Nendoroid only stands about 10cm in height and yet you can still see the powerful looking muscles on the small area of bare skin! The sculpting still keeps to the chibi design nicely though! ★

His sword can be displayed both drawn and ready for combat as well as sheathed away in his scabbard – two separate parts are included to allow for this! Simply choose the part that better matches your pose! (・∀・)

△ This oblique angle of his face makes him look so valiant!

Anyway, let’s take a look at his first alternate expression, which is…

A Combat Expression!

As I’m sure any fans would have noticed, his eyes have changed into combat mode as well!!

His eyes are normally rather sullen, but they kind of awaken when it comes to combat! The pose of him running forward ready to draw out the sword also has such a strong impact! ♪

Bent arm parts are included for both left and right arms allowing for various fun and original poses as well! ★

Anyway, in game he isn’t very keen when you make him the commander of your group… which is why he also comes with this third expression…

A troubled expression!

The clenched teeth as well as the one closed eye…!

I can just imagine him saying ‘Ugh…’ when I look at this expression! The confident, diligent look that the previous expressions gave him seems rather far when you switch to this expression!

It’s always nice to have different options, and I can really see this expression working great in story poses with the other characters!

As usual, a special round base featuring his emblem is also included! ٩(๑òωó๑)۶

Move to Akihabara: Complete!

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I have recently been told there is a delicious taiyaki shop really close to the new offices and I can’t wait to get my hands on one. If you have any nice tips on where to eat in Akihabara, let me know!!

Good Smile Company has now moved!
Not even 10 minutes walk from Akihabara station!

△  The building looks a bit like a giant mirror! 

I’m looking forward to bringing everyone all sorts of fun reviews from the new offices!! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

We received moving congratulations flowers, plants and more from all sorts of different companies!

Thank You!!

The above was taken this morning, but since then the amount of plants and flowers have only increased!! 

Really, a big thank you to each and every company that sent these through! The offices are currently filled with a lovely, somewhat romantic aroma of flowers!! ♥︎

They are currently all located on the meeting room floor! (σ・∀・)σ


△ Meeting rooms separated by color! There are many more too!

The same floor also has these figma and Nendoroid-themed vending machines!!


△ Max Factory has also moved to the same offices! (●´ω｀●)

The building has many more floors used by GSC and Mac Factory… but most of them are still being cleaned up after the move! (/ω＼)

△ This is planned to be the reception room next to the CEO Office!

While most of the areas for staff have all been fully prepared and everyone is getting back to work, but…

This is the current CEO Office!

You would think this would be the room we just moved out of, not into!! 

Once things calm down and the room is completed, I will come back and take some new photos to share on the blog!

△ There are also lots of doors I’ve yet to even open…. (°Д°；≡°Д°；)
