Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Albedo!

From the popular dark fantasy series ‘OVERLORD’ comes a Nendoroid of the Great Tomb of Nazarick’s Floor Guardians Overseer and top ranking NPC in Nazarick – Albedo! She comes with three face plates including her standard expression, a chibi excited expression and her characteristic aroused expression!

The various expressions allow you to pose her in various scenes from the anime – from her standard beautiful self to her rather unfortunate side when it comes to Ainz-sama. Be sure to display her together with the previously announced Nendoroid Ainz Ooal Gown!

The compassionate succubus in white!

The Great Tomb of Nazarick’s Floor Guardians Overseer Albedo from the popular series ‘OVERLORD’ is joining the Nendoroids!! ♥︎

Her curved goat-like horns, golden cat-like eyes, gentle smile and beautiful black wings have all been shrunk down into Nendoroid size for fans to enjoy by their side! Even that somewhat mysterious air about her character has been preserved in the Nendoroid design! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Not to mention her sexy dress!!

Her outfit’s unique design opens up to show off some skin not only at her chest but also at her thighs!!

Anyway, let’s move onto her second expression part! The first expression has a gentle smile that shows off her compassionate side, but her second expression…


A much more comical excited expression!♡

This expression is based on the chibi anime series ‘Pure Pure Pleiades’! Even in her chibi form her love for Ainz-sama and hate for human society was always so clear! (●´ω｀●)

Moving on to her third expression, which is of course her…
Aroused Expression!

The expression she had whenever she thinks of her beloved Ainz-sama!! The pointed tips of her mouth and uplifted eyes have been captured so nicely with just the right about of cuteness added from the Nendoroid design! ♪

In other words, you can enjoy the elegant Albedo with her standard expression, enjoy her innocent cute side with the chibi excited expression, and enjoy the more twisted side of her love with the aroused expression!
Simply pick the Albedo that you prefer!!

Let’s also take a closer look at her outfit! The skirt has multiple layers of frills that have all been sculpted with such a beautiful flow! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The wing parts are connected with ball joints, allowing you to move them around to better suit you pose! ★

Megumi Kato: Swimsuit style

Hi everyone! Suwabe (@gsc_suwabe)  from the Corporate Planning Division here! Also someone who will never be able to wear a bikini for a number of reasons!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure that went up for preorder earlier today…

AQUAMARINE’s…
Megumi Kato: Swimsuit style!✿

From the anime series ‘Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend’ comes a figure of Megumi Kato wearing her swimsuit! She has been sculpted as if she has just finished getting changed and is checking how she looks in the mirror before heading out.

Her impressive body that is normally covered up by her school uniform is much more clear in the swimsuit, giving her a presence that is hard to ignore! The slight blush on her cheeks also adds to her innocent personality, creating a figure that is sure to get fan’s hearts racing with excitement!

Let’s first experience her at various angles in silence…


… I’m sure everyone had a pleasant experience.
Now let’s move onto my personal favorite points on the figure!
Point #1: Face!

It is often said that the facial expression is the heart of a figure. This is one of those figures that depending on the angle you look at the face gives off different impressions, but this is the angle that sits best with me! The way she is looking upward toward me just gets me heart racing…!!

The combination of the upward glance together with the delicate fingers brushing through her hair really brings out her cute expression! The slight blush on her cheeks and the halo of light in her hair have also been included to faithfully capture the original illustration!

Point #2: Lovely Long Legs!

Just look at those beautiful legs – slender and yet not too thin!
Those calves in particular… this is the definition of sex appeal!
Point #3: Bust!

Such a lovely view!! Thank you!! (ΦωΦ)

I’m normally more focused on the lower half of the body, but Megumi’s bust is just too eye-catching to not feature!! I don’t believe nor do I want to believe that this is a figure! They look too warm and soft to be plastic!

Point #4: Hips!

While the figure is a rather simple pose, it still puts emphasis in where the emphasis is needed! The soft and squishy feeling of her skin that can be seen from the hand she has in-between her thighs is also magnificent.

Point #5: Muscles!

As with any figure that shows a lot of skin, the attention to detail on where the muscles are and how they are moving is very important! From Megumi’s back, the slight gap at the top of her bikini to show off her bottom and all the way down her legs you can see where strength is being put into the muscles through the sculptwork!

I tried my best to show off my favorite points on the figure with a couple of photos, I hope I was able to get my feelings across! You really do need to see the actual figure with your own two eyes though! (ΦωΦ)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the German heavy cruiser…

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the third Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruiser in her standard pose from the game – Prinz Eugen!

The complex paintwork of her ship parts have been faithfully reproduced on the figure giving them a heavy, realistic appearance. In contrast, her feminine body has been sculpted and painted to look soft and smooth – in particular, her long ladylike legs bring out the beauty of her standing pose as they contrast against the dark naval uniform and heavy ship parts.

Her hat can be removed and the ship parts feature over 20 points of articulation allowing for various different posing options even as a scale figure! Enjoy the company of Prinz in whatever pose you think suits her best!

“Guten Morgen! I’m the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen!”

The German third Admiral Hipper-class heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen as a 1/8th scale figure! Her hair tied up with anchor hair accessories, loving green eyes with a youthful look on her face – even though her body has a much more mature appearance to it! Then of course we have the ship parts with four huge cannons… everything has been preserved in figure form so nicely!

△ I can just imagine her sweet voice looking at the figure! (●´ω｀●)

This is how she looks from the back! ♪

This angle gives a good feel for just how big those ship parts are compared to her body!

To think that such a slim and delicate looking body is carrying such heavy looking parts! Not to mention that the ship parts aren’t the only thing big thing being carried by her slim build…


I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about!

When looking from the back the lovely long legs coming out from the black mini-skirt make you think she will have a very slender build all the way through, but around the chest area the outfit is suddenly very tight as if ready to burst!! The colors and patterns also match up with the ship parts so effectively!

Just look…!! (੭ु ›ω‹ )

The creases in the outfit from the fabric being pulled tight has been sculpted with such detail that you get a perfect feel for the impressive bosom!! The contrast between the squeezable feeling of her body compared to the mechanical ship parts is so enjoyable!! ★

Speaking of her ship parts, the design has been faithfully carried on all the way down to her shoes which have a very characteristic design! 

△ Note the slight creases on the top of the foot! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧！

While we are on the topic of creases in her outfit, also take a good close look at the area around her belly button!!

The fact that you can make out that long horizontal line from her belly button does to show just how tight-fitting the outfit is! ♥︎

Even though she is showing almost no skin at all on her upper body, there is something so voluptuous about her choice of clothes!

Anyway, let’s move onto her ship parts! ♪

Each of the turrets as well as various connecting points of the ship parts are fitted with joints making for a rather well-articulated scale figure!

You can move them around into various different positions until you find the one that you like best! Also take note of the wooden-like parts that are made in the appearance of the ship’s deck! ☆

The figure has been sculpted to differentiate the textures of the mixed wood and iron on her design, making it a figure that’s not only amazing to look at but also fun to feel! Be sure to give her all of her ship parts a good feel for yourself once she joins your collection!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The figure is a pleasure to look at, but also has a lot of playability thanks to the articulated parts and various textures!

Plus as you may have read in the product description, her hat can also be removed for a slightly different look! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

△ No hat makes her look strangely younger!

This gives her a more everyday kind of appearance! ♪

Ami Futami & Mami Futami

I’ve seen two twins talk in perfect unison in the past. It was so impressive… I’d really love to hear that again some time!! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at this upcoming item from Phat!
Ami Futami & Mami Futami!

From the anime series ‘IDOLM@STER’ comes a 1/8th scale figure featuring both of the mischievous twins – Ami Futami and Mami Futami! The pose is based on the illustration by director Atsushi Nishigori seen on the 4th volume of the Blu-ray & DVD jacket for the anime series, and is the first in series to feature two characters as a single figure!

The figure has been carefully sculpted to have the two characters fit together naturally, and also features a lovely selection of eye-catching colors that all come together to create a figure filled with highlights! Mami also comes with an alternate expression part which can be used to display her with her eyes open instead – simply pick the pose that you prefer!

The mischievous, playful twin idols in an energetic pose!

The innocent appearance and positive vibes of the twins has been captured so nicely, allowing you to enjoy the charms of both  Ami Futami & Mami Futami as a single figure!

The colourful one-piece outfits with the sporty yellow vests as well as the alternate colored scrunchies in their hair, headphones and kind-of matching socks… the super colorful design matches with their huge smiles so nicely!!

Let’s take a look from the back! |・`ω・)

The socks as well as the stars and dots on their shoes are all painted by hand!! (･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

These kind of patterns are often done with decals, but that can sometimes leave behind a bit of a rough appearance. The painter behind the figure – Maimocchi (Turunoyakata) – wanted to ensure that the vivid coloring and colorful impression was preserved in detail for fans to enjoy!

Ami’s hair has been sculpted to capture the movement of her jumping up onto Mami’s back, while Mami’s bent over back with her ponytail fluttering around is also so intricately sculpted…

Everything comes together to create such a realistic dynamic effect! They look ready to jump to life!

The original illustration was always amazing, but now you can enjoy that adorable pose from any angle that you please!

Anyway, this is in fact the 9th figure in the IDOLM@STER BD/DVD Jacket Illustration series!

But anyway, let’s get back to AmiMami! (・∀・)

Ever since the Blu-ray/DVD jacket series started, the series has kept the details of both the characters as well as the most intricate parts of their outfits and accessories in tact. ♡

The yellow down vests make use of a glossy paintwork giving them a nice texture, and you can even see the difference in material through the sculpt where Ami’s hand is grabbing on to Mami’s shoulder!

△ The metallic look of the headphones and the curly wire also look great! ♪

Plus this figure also includes a special optional part! 

An alternate expression for Ami with her eyes open!

The original jacket cover illustration had Ami with her eyes closed which does showcase her carefree personality nicely, but for those fans who would rather see the energetic Ami with her eyes wide open, this alternate expression is also included for you to choose between!! ♡

As for Mami’s expression… ♪

I recommend a slightly low to meet up with her eyes nicely! ♡

figma Samus Aran: Zero Suit ver.

Hello everyone! I.G. Sakai from Max Factory’s planning team here!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this figma from the popular action game ‘METROID Other M‘…
figma Samus Aran: Zero Suit ver.!

At first glance you might think this is a scale figure as the joints don’t stand out at all on her design – her unique body line has been preserved perfectly in figma form! Not to mention that the color of her Zero Suit has also been faithfully retained!

Her healthy looking body as well as the tight metallic suit make for such a treat to look at, and those stomach muscles really go to show off just how fit she is! Her main weapon, the handgun is rather small, but very intricately detailed!

The Zero Suit from the back… quite the view!

In this photo the handgun is holstered by her hip!


A little clip is included like this to be attached and removed whenever you switch between having her handgun drawn or holstered!

The shoulder and hip joints make use of  drawer joints which allow for all sorts of epic action poses! Her ponytail also has a ball joint to match up with the poses!

Her first alternate expression is this Glaring Expression!

She also comes with Adam’s Helmet to recreate the Bottle Ship escape scene!

She even comes with short hair parts to recreate the flashback scenes from the game! The expression here is her Smiling Expression!

Here she is displayed with the previously released figma Samus Aran which was wearing the power suit! As you can see, she comes with hand parts to recreate her classic thumbs-up pose as well!

A Japan-Taiwan Collaboration Video Project – Thunderbolt Fantasy!

In Taiwan, these glove puppetry performances are known and enjoyed by young and old alike. Nitroplus’s Gen Urobuchi will be working together one of the most well known puppetry series producers in Taiwan, ‘PILI’ to create a unique collaboration series – a martial-arts fantasy series with both Japanese and Taiwan culture incorporated in the design and story – Thunderbolt Fantasy! Good Smile Company will take part in the project as an adviser to the sculpting of the puppets!

Look forward to the unique series featuring a blend of Taiwan’s traditional culture and Japan’s unique content!

TITANFALL IMC OGRE

My chair in the offices is right by the air conditioning, so my skin tends to try out a lot… I get the feeling that even in mid-Summer I’m going to be rather chilly in this seat!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at threezero’s…
TITANFALL IMC OGRE

From the popular multiplayer sci-fi shooter ‘Titanfall’ comes a model of one of the large robotic weapons known as ‘Titans’. The Ogre is known as the most highly armored of all the Titans, and has now been shrunk down to 1/12th scale together with a pilot all in the IMC color scheme.

The Ogre’s torso and leg armor plates, waist area, arms, fingers and more all move in various different ways boasting over 100 points of articulation. The cockpit hatch can also be opened and closed, and the included pilot of the same scale can even be seated inside. The inside of the cockpit, torso and back thrusters all feature light-up effects with interchangeable red and blue lights. The hatch on the tri-missile launcher on his left shoulder can be opened and closed and the missiles are detachable. The Ogre also comes with a 40mm Cannon with a detachable ammo drum allowing for various situations. The included pilot is also gully articulated and is dressed in an outfit made from real fabric for a truly realistic appearance. Detailed armor parts are also included worn over the fabric. The pilot carries a R97 Submachine Gun as his weapon.

The model features incredible paintwork that shows the armor has been though its fair share of battles, and the weapons have such an amazing mechanical appearance with so much attention given to little things like the clamps really brings the Titanfall universe to life right in front of you! It’s really a work of art from both a sculpting and painting point of view!

△ The accessories made from real fabric add an extra level of realism!

The model also includes an IMC pilot with a battle rifle!

It’s hard to think of the pilot as an extra part, he is way too detailed and articulated to not be considered a main part of the product!

Large portions of his outfit are made from fabric, and the damaged appearance of the armor helps to bring out the atmosphere of the Titanfall universe! The OGRE also comes with this 40mm Cannon which can be attached and removed whenever you wish!

△ That heavy, weapon-like feeling has been captured so effectively!

Anyway, let’s take a closer look at the pilot first! ♪

– Pilot –

The pilot is sculpted as a 1/12th scale figure, standing approximately 152mm in height – around the same size as a figma!★

△ An R97 Submachine Gun is also included with the pilot!

The pilot also comes with joints all over his body allowing for all sorts of different movements and poses! (σ・∀・)σ

△ If you balance him really well he can even stand on one foot! ♪

… I took this photo with the intention of having the pilot hugging Dayo-san… but while I was taking it Hamako from the planning team came by and said… “Why are you making them fight each other?”… (´・ω・`)

Anyway, the point is that there are all sorts of different poses to place the pilot in! But he is of course still tiny in comparison to the main feature…

– Titan –

Around 508mm in height!

Around the same size as a newborn baby I would imagine!!

△ Petite Dayo-san is rather tiny in comparison!

Each and every one of this fingers is fitted with joints, allowing you to pose the Ogre holding onto things like this!

Taking a look from a lower angle makes the model appear so heavy and mechanical! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Just standing still it looks so imposing, but also features over 100 points of articulation including parts around the hips and legs that allow for all sorts of amazing poses! ★

But that’s not all!!
Just like the previously released TITANFALL M-COR OGRE the model also features light-up effects! ( ✧Д✧)

△ A switch on the back lets the lights on the top light-up blue and red! ★

But not only does it light-up…

The cockpit also opens and closes!

The inside of the cockpit has also been fully detailed, so be sure to take a nice close look if you choose to pick one up!

△ Even the inside has a long history of battle…!

The pilot can of course also be placed inside the cockpit!

I’m back again and just as hyped up as I was last week! ★

Today I’m going to be introducing… 

Miho Nishizumi: School Uniform & Ankou Suit Ver. &
Yukari Akiyama: School Uniform & Ankou Suit Ver.!

Today’s blog feature’s photos taken directly by FREEing!! But before we take a look through the photos, let’s first take a closer look at what makes these figures so special!

＼／＼／＼／＼／＼／＼／＼／＼／＼／＼／＼
★1/4th Scale!
The most standard sizes for scale figures are 1/7th and 1/8th scale figures, but these are both 1/4th scale! They stand around 33cm in height which is even bigger than an A4 file! Compared to other scale figures and Nendoroids they have quite an impressive presence! The large size also allows for some interesting ways to put them on display! (ΦωΦ)

★ Dress-Up Outfits!

The actual figures themselves are dressed in swimsuits, but they both comes with a school uniform and an ‘Ankou’ suit to put on over the swimsuit for a whole new look! Three different outfits to enjoy on a single figure!! Lovely!!

★ Alternate Poses!

Nishizumi-dono’s left arm and Akiyama-dono’s right arm both come with interchangeable parts for a slightly different pose! As the outfits are made from fabric, they fit onto either pose nice and easily!

Let’s take a closer look at each of them shall we?
Starting with Nishizumi-dono!

From the popular anime series ‘Girls und Panzer’ comes a 1/4th scale figure of the Ankou Team’s commander – Miho Nishizumi! She also comes with both her Oarai Girls High School uniform as well as the Ankou (Anglerfish) suit from the series both made from real fabric which can be switched around whenever you wish, and special interchangeable parts are also included to create poses that suit each of the outfits!

In addition, the figure itself is wearing the swimsuit that was seen in the OVA, which means you can enjoy Miho in her school uniform, Ankou suit or swimsuit all with a single figure! Be sure to display her with the upcoming ‘Yukari Akiyama: School Uniform & Ankou Suit Ver.’ to recreate the two of them doing the Ankou dance together!

Her thighs have just the right size to them, and her waist has a nice womanly curve! Then we move up… and it’s such a lovely view!! I’m sure most of you are on the same page as me with that!

As usual, that area where the bottom connects to the thighs has a lovely sculpt to it! The little creases in her triangle bikini also look so lovely! 

Next up, Akiyama-dono!

From the popular anime series ‘Girls und Panzer’ comes a 1/4th scale figure of the Ankou Team’s loader – Yukari Akiyama! She comes with both her Oarai Girls High School uniform as well as the Ankou (Anglerfish) suit from the series both made from real fabric which can be switched around whenever you wish, and special interchangeable parts are also included to create poses that suit each of the outfits!

In addition, the figure itself is wearing the swimsuit that was seen in the OVA, which means you can enjoy Yukari in her school uniform, Ankou suit or swimsuit all with a single figure! Be sure to display her with the previously announced ‘Miho Nishizumi: School Uniform & Ankou Suit Ver.’ to recreate the two of them doing the Ankou dance together!

The swimsuit outfits are based on the OVA of the series, but in that Akiyama-dono was wearing short pants! The figure has been adapted to a triangle bikini to match with Nishizumi-dono! It’s reserved but still brings out the feminine side of Akiyama-dono!

 

I’m sure the areas that one chooses to look at differs between people, but I keep finding myself staring into the camouflage patterns! I mean, it’s a pretty unique pattern I definitely wasn’t looking at anything except for the pattern! The muscles on the back of her knees also look great!

(ΦωΦ) School Uniform!

The Oarai Girls High School uniform! The fact that you can dress-up the figure makes it seem a little bit like a doll! Even though you know exactly what is underneath the skirt, an angle like this that teases the eyes always gets to me!!

(੭ु´･ω･`)੭ु⁾⁾ Ankou Suits!

The back of the outfits has a zipper so you can even display them in the middle of getting dressed up like this! Not really a situation that you would expect to see very often, but that is exactly why it allows the mind to run wild with ideas!! For example… what kind of expression does Nishizumi-dono have on her face here?

The ankou hat included with the outfit can of course be placed on their heads, but as it is fabric you can also play around and have them hold it in their hands! (`・ω・´)b

Nendoroid Aoba Suzukaze

The new graduates that joined us this year are currently moving between the different sections in the company as a part of their training! I remember doing the same thing when I first joined…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Aoba Suzukaze!

From the anime series scheduled to air in July 2016, ‘NEW GAME!’ (based on the manga by Shoutarou Tokunou serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Carat) comes a Nendoroid of game developer Eagle Jump’s newest employee – Aoba Suzukaze! She comes with three face plates including a smiling face, an enthusiastic face as well as a rather upset whining face with tears and all!

The Nendoroid comes with parts to recreate various different poses, and also includes a variety of optional parts including a coffee cup, employee ID card, game-pad, speech balloon and even an alternate lower body part that allows you to display her sitting! Enjoy the struggles of the hard-working Aoba by your side in Nendoroid form!

“I’m Aoba Suzukaze! I look forward to working with you!”

From the anime series starting this Summer about a young working girl who starts her first job at a game company, ‘NEW GAME!’ comes a figure of the main character herself –Aoba Suzukaze!

As with most newcomers to the working world she is wearing a simple navy blue suit and her cute light purple twin-tails have been tied up with little flower accessories! Her expression looks so innocent and filled with curiosity and even her rather characteristic slippers have been transformed into Nendoroid size! (●´ω｀●)

The twin-tails are also fitted with joints to give some different nuances to poses!☆


△ Even the underside of her shoes clearly look lie slippers! ♪

Along with the bright and cheerful expression above, she also comes with this enthusiastic expression that shows she is ready to try her best at the new job!!

Ooooooooohhhh!! (´□｀｡)

She also comes with a speech balloon part to recreate the panel from the original manga that this expression is based on! The panel reads ‘I’m going to try my very best today!’, and comes with it’s own special stand to display beside her! ♥︎

You can also use this expression with the included coffee cup…

It looks like she is blowing on the coffee to cool it down! (✿´ ꒳ ` )

A little bit off topic, but the plastic insert cup she is using has always reminds me of the first time I started working in a company as well! I never really saw these kind of cups during my student years but they often seem to come out in company meetings! If you have similar cups in your offices you can enjoy a coffee break together with Aoba!! ★

Things like this coffee cup, the speech bubble and even this cheerful face make me want to put her on display next to my work desk right now! I want the inspiration! I’ll do my very best together with Aoba-chan!!

Anyway, let’s move onto her third expression which is when she keeps trying to do her very best but things just don’t go her way… (/ω＼)

A whining expression!

The wobbly looking mouth, tears in her eyes and those red cheeks show that she has had more than enough! You can see she has also removed the employee ID badge and thrown it down at her feet to show how she is feeling even more!!

However, the reason Aoba decided to join a company with all this stress is because she wanted to be a character designer for a game ever since she was a little girl! Which is why another part that just had to be included with her is this game pad!

Plus she also comes with sitting parts! ♪

I can’t be the only one that thinks girls look cute when sitting in work suits! As you can see her slippers can also be removed to reveal her cute little feet, which have actually been sculpted with such adorable little curves and balance! They really are so cute!! (੭ु ›ω‹ )੭ु⁾⁾♡

You can make use of the expressions to create a little story of her playing some games as well…
First she is enthusiastically playing…

But then…

It didn’t turn out how she hoped!

From the popular movie ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ comes a Nendoroid of Batman dressed up in his armor. The Nendoroid is a part of the fully articulated ‘Edition’ series of Nendoroids which allows for all sorts of action poses from the movie!
