Nendoroid Petite: Puella Magi Madoka Magica – Extension Set 01 & Sayaka Miki: Movie ver.

Whenever some treats arrive at the GSC offices, a mail is sent out to all the staff members and the race to get the most treats begins!
The web team is relatively close to the treat table, so we’re quite lucky in that regard. 😛

I don’t think those are entirely edible though… so we’ll just have to take a look at them on today’s blog instead!

Nendoroid Petite:
Puella Magi Madoka Magica – Extension Set 01!
From the hit anime ‘Puella Magi Madoka Magica’ comes a set of two Nendoroid Petites as an extension set to add to the original Madoka Nendoroid Petites! This first extension set features the ‘Dessert Witch’ Charlotte in both its cuter first form and second form.
The set of both of them will be available for  ¥1,200! (=ﾟωﾟ=）ﾉ
There is also an interesting serial code included along with the two figures, which I’ll take a look at a bit later!

The second form of the Dessert Witch!
The way the body is twisted around, along with the direction of the eyes both needed a lot of changes to get them perfect – Oda-P kept making more and more adjustments! It’s quite hard to get such a strange shape looking so neat in figure form, but I think it came out very nicely in the end!
The nose can actually be removed if you want, which also gives you a tiny bit of control on the angle it’s placed at.

The smaller form of the Dessert Witch!
The cute little dress looks great in figure form! Her adorable little beady eyes and little feet sticking out the bottom are lovely!!
If you put this little one on your desk at work, you’ll have all the girls telling you how cute it is, I’m certain! 😛

The set also includes a code that will allow you to unlock two limited items in the Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online game – the ‘Dessert Witch’s Hat’ and ‘Dessert Witch Doll’.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica Online is an online browser game – the web team manager is actually quite hooked on it at the moment! You get some items in the game just by grabbing these Nendoroid Petites!

Sayaka Miki: Movie ver.!
The previously released 1/8th scale figure of Sayaka Miki has been altered as a special Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie version! She also comes with two replaceable parts holding swords, allowing you to pose her holding her weapons for a slightly different appearance!
Sakaya sold out incredibly fast in stores, but is coming back now with the hair accessory from the Madoka Movie! (`･ω･´)
Those who didn’t manage to grab her the first time, now’s your chance!!

Just look at the sculpting of the skirt!!
Just this photo alone gives such an amazingly dynamic feeling to the figure! You can also make out her body-line beneath the skirt… plus just look at those lovely thighs!

The main change is this ‘ff’ hair accessory!
In order to match the designs used in the Madoka Magica movies, this version of the figure has had this hair accessory added in! You can see the slightly altered designs over at the official site!

Pose her holding her swords!
Just a quick swap of some sword and wrist parts and Sayaka is ready for battle! All of the figures in the 1/8th scale Madoka Magica series feature the option to pose them with or without their weapons – I love having choice like this!

Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie!
In theaters from the 6th October!
That’s just a few days away! It’s this week!! I’m sure a lot of you have been waiting with bated breath for the premiere of the movie!
A large number of the GSC and Max Factory staff are also sure to head over to the theater to watch it!

Nendoroid Leonmitchelli

It looks like Kyubey and his new friend are looking for some food!!

Kyubey’s new friend is rather large!!

Today we’ll be looking at the Nendoroid who owns this very familiar looking birdy! (I should keep this a secret, but I kind of wish there was a figma of Master Yupa from Nausicaä to display riding him! :P)

Nendoroid Leonmitchelli Galette des Rois!

From the anime DOG DAYS comes a Nendoroid of Leonmitchelli Galette des Rois, the leader and Princess of the Galette Lion Army’s Territory! Be sure to display her with the previously released Nendoroid Millhiore F. Biscotti!

The third DOG DAYS Nendoroid following on from Millhi and Ricotta!

Not only do we get the lovely Leo, but also her cercle mount, Daumas!

This is how she looks from the back!

It’s quite hard to see from this photo, but if you look close you can see her cat tail sticking out from beneath her cape! The black and white feathers on Daumas’ head and tail are also lovely!

She comes with her sword and shield!

They’re shrunk down to Nendoroid size, but look just like the full-size counterparts – it’s like the full-size versions were simply shrunk down! Leo’s outfit is also truly outstanding quality – the amount of detail is simply amazing!

An angry expression and the battleaxe, Granvale!

This expression with gritted teeth is perfect for showing a more angry side of Leo in combat scenes. She also comes with a bent arm allowing you to pose her holding this treasured weapon out in front of her, ready for battle!

A content expression and Emblem Arts!

With a quick switch between hand parts, you can pose her using Emblem Arts like this! These were included with Millhi as well, but the emblem on Millhi’s looked completely different!

Leo and Millhi are as close as sisters!

If you display her together with Millhi like this, you can have Millhi treat her like a spoiled child! This pose uses two bent arm parts and specially included hand parts to pose her in a kitty pose! It makes me want to pet her as well!!!

Daumas is also nice and posable!

There are joints in his legs and neck which make him surprisingly easy to pose! You can pose him standing up or sitting down! I’ve been placing him in all sorts of poses behind Leo in the previous photos, so go back and take a look!

I have to say I really like the way this photo came out, they look so happy together! 😛

The two princesses off on a ride together!

It’s pretty much like having four different figures on display! The cercles add so much more volume to the Nendoroids!

When you think about it, it’s actually quite rare to have something for Nendoroids to ride on… there are cars and bikes, but nothing else close to this!

Reset Kalar

Nendoroid Petite Reset-chan! (*ﾟ∀ﾟ)

This little Nendoroid was a pre-order bonus for the Rance Quest game, so she is probably quite difficult to get hold of now… she’s so small, but the amount of detail is still amazing!(((ﾟДﾟ)))

But even those who did manage to get the little Nendoroid won’t remember the little ghost beside her! The ghost belongs to the prototype I’ll be taking a look at today!

1/8th Scale Reset Kalar!

Alicesoft ran a poll on their official site in order to select the most popular female character from their games, with the winner to be made into a figure!

The mysterious Reset Kalar from Rance Quest took first place in the poll, and thus has been made into this lovely  figure! I can just imagine her adorable voice while looking at the figure!

This is how she looks from the back!

The figure makes sure not to lose any part of the cuteness Reset-chan is known for – all the proportions are kept perfectly and the finest details are included to create a quality product that fans can be proud of!

The pose has a lovely dynamic feel to it, as if she is about to dash forward. I also love the way her skirt is fluttering around!

She’ll be gorgeous when she grows up!

Although I guess she is already more than gorgeous enough! Reset really is such a perfect example of cuteness, and the figure brings it out so nicely!

Some lower angle shots!

I feel a little bad taking pictures of her down at this angle…. but it’s my job! I have to!! Look at the lovely soft looking area just beneath her knees, not to mention the creases in her tights!

The slightly thicker area between her calves and ankles really makes the legs look wonderful! The work that sculptors do never ceases to amaze me!

Such beautiful coloring!

Reset-chan doesn’t use that many colors, but the contrast between the colors are truly beautiful! The little areas of moss green and shiny gold really give the figure an elegant look, and the light colors on the outfit also match up with her blue hair so nicely!

You can see the weight of the dress!

The way she has been sculpted really gives you a feel for the gravity pulling down on the skirt. Just imagine for a second that she let go – can’t you just see the dress falling down? Not to mention the material of the skirt looks so soft and silky to the touch… I could look at her for ages and never get bored!

A ghost of Queen Pastel is included!

She even comes with a little stand to display her floating up beside Reset-chan! She is made from transparent clear parts and has a cute expression!

The sculpting of the pleats is stunning!

It’s not a part of the figure that you’ll notice at first, but I love the way you can see her leg distorting the pleats in the dress!

If you decide to grab her, be sure to take the time to look at every inch of her so you don’t miss out on incredible little details like this one!
