I’m already starting to find that short sleeves aren’t going to work any more… Autumn has arrived and it’s already rather chilly!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale…

Hatsune Miku: Greatest Idol Ver.★

The jacket cover of sound producer Mitchie M’s album ‘Greatest Idol’ featured an illustration of Hatsune Miku by the famous animator and manga artist Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. This illustration has now been transformed into a figure for fans to add to their collection!The intricately sculpted details of her unique instrument as well as her dynamic pose filled with energy are sure to brighten up your day, and if that’s not enough her adorable expression will finish the job!

Ooooohh!! (*´Д｀)

The electronic diva Miku-san just had her 8th birthday, and now she also has a brand new figure on the way! This time the figure is based on a CD jacket illustration by the renown Yoshiyuki Sadamoto! ♪

The bright smile she has on her face instantly shows she is a true idol!!

The outfit has a more rocky style to it than usual, but it still suits her so very nicely!! Her pink instrument which is a mix between a synthesizer and a guitar is incredibly detailed and the coloring of her twin tails is lovely!

Only an angel can be this cute!! (/ω＼)

She was only announced at WonFes this year but her colored prototype is now complete and ready to take a nice close look at, so let’s get started!

This is how she looks from the back!

The unique touches of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s design have been beautifully preserved on the figure version! The gradient effect used for her hair gives it that translucent, light feeling that always looked so amazing on the illustration!

Speaking of a light feeling, also take note of her skirt! <○><○>

Fluttering upward in the heat of the moment!!

This angle is a perfect tease angle! So close and yet so far!! Also note the details of the chequered design on her skirt!! (´□｀｡)

Comparing the figure to the illustration and trying to find differences is very difficult, the figure recreates the illustration perfectly!! However the figure of course allows you to see her from any angle of your choice!

△Looking from a slightly higher angle you can really see her skirt and twin tails flowing around her!

Everyone who adds her to their collection will almost without a doubt be satisfied with the details both from the illustration, as well as all the details that were never visible on the illustration! ♡

For instance, take note of the mechanical design of her headphones, or the neck tie fluttering around her neck! Her painted nails are also so very intricate, and the slightly see-through blouse is a treat for the eyes!

The creases on her blouse are also very carefully sculpted!

The way the blouse moves around her body gives you a good feel for how the body looks even past the outfit… and if you look really close you’ll notice just how close to the illustration the figure has been made! Particularly around her chest!

Moving on, let’s take a look down at her legs! ★

A glossy paint is used on the high-lace boots which give them a classy feeling! The way her leg is twisting really tells the story of her dynamic pose right down from here at the legs! ε=(。・д・。)

I actually had a conversation with Hamako the other day where we both agreed that these shoes should really exist! I would be happy to buy them!! This Miku’s outfit actually has a much more ‘realistic’ feeling to it compared to most Miku figures, which makes her feel somehow “closer” to the real world…

The illustration was used as a cover album for Mitchie M’s album which is very much real, and this figure also shows her to be so real… surely it won’t be long until we really have Miku by our sides!! (●´ω｀●)

While the rather unique mixture of a synthesizer and guitar brings things into a bit more of a wilder world, both parts are both sculpted to look very realistic for their individual parts! The guitar strings make use of a thin synthetic thread that is each pulled out and attached carefully! It even feels rather realistic!

Plus, the design for the base of the figure is done by the jacket cover’s designer, BALCOLONY!

Everything about the figure is a pleasure to look at! Her semi-transparent hair, cute expression, intricate sculpting of her outfit and instrument, glossy shoes and stripy socks… plus even a specially designed base!

Today’s Main Feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s 1/7th scale…

Hestia!☆

From the anime series ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’ comes a figure of the ‘Loli Goddess’ Hestia in an energetic jumping pose! She also comes with interchangeable parts that allow for a different pose that shows off why the ‘string’ is such a charming addition to her outfit! Enjoy two different poses with just one figure!

Oooohhh!! (●´ω｀●)

An item that was introduced by I.G. Sakai (@sakai_max) last week, but I decided I had to take a closer look at the figure for myself!! ♪

The friendly smile on her face together with the dynamic pose with her twintails flying through the air make for a lovely figure! Not to mention the ‘string’ that everyone loves so much!!

The ribbon faithfully winds around her chest just beneath her rather impressive bosom!!

The ends of the ribbon are also placed wavering around as a part of the dynamic feeling of the pose! Small things like this are what bring the figure together! Also note the way it squeezes down on the skin on her back! ♪

Anyway, let’s move around to the front…

The pose makes her one piece mini-skirt look very short and really takes things to the limits… but fortunately her hands are covering up any areas that I shouldn’t be showing! 😛

You’ll have to wait until she joins your collection to see past those hands… but I promise you will not be disappointed!

But even without being able to see there, you can still see how lovely and soft her thighs look, and the details of all the creases along her one piece dress!

However… she also comes with alternate parts to display her with her hands up in the air!! <○><○>

At this point in development, the alternate parts are from her neck all the way down to her stomach, but this still might change during development!

However the parts will definitely be made in such a way that the partition line will not worry you!!

Anyway, let’s take another look at her lovely chest with these new parts!!

THEY LOOK SO SOFT…!

This is where the blue ribbon really shines, isn’t it! Just look at the way that it shows off just how soft they would be to the touch!! Another thing to note is just how clearly you can make out the shape of her body through the outfit – just look at how clearly her belly button comes though! In the previous pose her ribs were also quite hidden away by the arms, but this part also let’s you see the little bumps of her ribs sculpted so intricately! ♡

So much to enjoy at once!! From her bosom to the stomach… to to mention those smooth arm pits!! (*´Д｀)=з

But that’s enough for the front, let’s take a look at her back as well!

The fabric of her white one-piece dress is so stretched out…!

What could be waiting on the other side?
You’ll have to look with your mind’s eye for now!! 

While the outfit is rather simple the sculpt is so detailed that is makes for such an amazing work of art! The sculptor behind this figure was Masanori Kuroda! The same sculptor who worked on popular items such as figma Solid Snake MGS2 ver. and figma Honoka Kosaka!! (He does everything from epic male figures to cute girls!)

Amazing curves and a cute expression, plus a pose you can switch out for a change!

Sun Priestess Tamayorihime

Hello fellow readers of Kahotan Blog and nice to meet you! My name is Akane Eiseihei (@akane_mxf) and I am a member of Max Factory’s planning team!

While Kahotan was away on Summer vacation I wrote up this blog which was published on the Japanese blog, but now that the preorder deadline has been extended a little there is some time to add a translated version to the English side, so here we go! Sorry for the delay!

I don’t think Kahotan realized just how silly she was to leave the blog to me! Who knows what kind of silly things will end up in this blog while I am in control! Today I’m going to be taking a look at this WonHobby Selection item that is currently up for preorder!

Sun Priestess Tamayorihime!

From ‘selector infected WIXOSS’, the anime based on the popular trading card game ‘WIXOSS’ comes a full-scale figure of the level 4 LRIG, Sun Priestess Tamayorihime. Tamayorihime’s cute, innocent and playful appearance has been faithfully recreated in figure form. The floating appearance from the card along with the halos positioned around her have also been carefully preserved, creating a figure that looks as if she has jumped right out of the card to join your collection!
Tama has just jumped right off the card and into the world of figures!!

Take a nice close look at her!!

Such an amazing dynamic pose, not to mention the amazing floating feeling!!

This is the card that the figure was based on – as you can see the figure is completely faithful to the original illustration!

“Tama… she came out of the card for… me…”

This is your chance to become a Selector and aim to be an Eternal Girl!! At least, that’s the way I feel when I look at the figure – it really draws you right into the series as Tama is right there beside you!! Plus as Tama-chan is a LRIG and her actual height is only about 30cm… that also means that this is a full scale figure! The actual size of Tama will be on display beside you!!

By the way, her size when compared to normal scale figures would place her around the 1/7th scale size!

The figure also allows you to see her from the back!

To preserve the floating appearance and still keep her nice and stable, the stand makes use of a clear acrylic pillar!

The official photos don’t include many shots of her from the back, but that is by no means that she doesn’t look great from behind as well!

Just look at the sculpt of those fluttering sleeves and flowing hair…!!

Not to mention all the smooth skin that you can see in the openings of her outfit! I promise you this IS a figure! If you touch the skin it won’t be as soft as it looks!! 

Whilst I love illustrations as much as anyone else, there is definitely so much more texture and shape now that you can see her as a completely three dimensional figure! You always needed to imagine the shape and curves of her back and body with the illustration, but now they are right there for you to see! Or even feel!

My personal best things about the figure are her smooth, slim body as well as the little teases you can get while looking around at the gaps of her clothes! Can you see them?! Can’t you?!

The curves of her thighs are also magnificent…!

But let’s not forget that this is Tama-chan that has grown to Level 4!!

Have definitely grown to level 4 too!! 

If you look really close at her hips you’ll notice you can just see the faint outlines of her bones as they push on the skin due to her posing! That somehow gets me really excited!! By the way, the sculptor for this figure is none other than Shining Wizard @ Sawatika – a sculptor said to have no equal when it comes to adding the little details like these!!

The paintwork is also outstanding!

Take a second to look at the clothes she is wearing. While it’s mostly just a while outfit the various shades and highlights all over and slight use of yellows and blues create something that definitely isn’t just a slap of white paint – the attention to details and lighting is very carefully considered!

Plus even the feather accessories in her hair cast shadows which have clearly been depicted by intricate paintwork! They say transferring illustrations into figures is not an easy task, but this figure is an example that it can be done with a good balance of sculpt and paintwork!!

I really have to say this figure is a masterpiece! You will love her once she joins your collection!! Make sure you don’t miss out!

This can only mean that today’s review is of…

The 1/8th Scale…

Nico Yazawa: Picnic Girl!♡

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Nico Yazawa. The figure is a part of the LoveLive! Cafe Campaign in AKIHABARA, where fans all over Japan voted on which LoveLive! character is best suited for a picnic in the early Summer – the character that you would most like to go on a picnic with! The winner of the contest was Nico Yazawa, who then had this special illustration drawn of her to commemorate the victory!

Now that illustration has been transformed into a figure which shows off Nico’s healthy and energetic body, as well as her dynamic pose that instantly catches the eye! The cute smile on her face is sure to make anyone who looks her way feel uplifted and ready for another day!

Nico Nico Nii~♡

The adorable ‘Niconii’ also known as Nico Yazawa has been made into a 1/8th scale figure filled with energy and with a cute, playful smile across her face! The figure is a part of the LoveLive! Cafe Campaign in AKIHABARA, where fans all over Japan voted on which LoveLive! character is best suited as picnic girl and Nico took the top spot which lead to this illustration of her being drawn! Now the lovely illustration has also been transformed into a figure for fans to enjoy!!

The figure allows you to see the reverse side too!

One of the things that figures will always have over illustrations is that you can look and enjoy from any angle you please! Nico is posed with one leg lifted high off the ground showing her agile body as well as just how active a character she is, and her trademark twin-tails are also blowing about in the wind around her! ☆

Of course all this movement is bound to show on her outfit as well, and as you can see the camisole and pink jacket she is wearing are moving around together with her energetic movement! (/ω＼)

The clothes look so soft and realistic…!

Sometimes looking at these figures I really forget that they are made from a hard material! The sculpting really makes her clothes look like they are made from fabric and will be soft to the touch! Σ(・Д・」)

Also note the detail on the zip! Even the teeth are amazingly intricate!

But the details are about more than just her outfit…!

The lovely curves and agile body that allow Niconii to thrive as a member of μ’s have been faithfully preserved on the figure! You could almost say she looks to be dancing right in the pose!  (｀・ω・´)ゞ

The camisole outfit gives a nice look at her healthy looking stomach and all the curves around it! No one can doubt this is the body of an idol! Scale figures really capture a character down to the finest of details, and looking at those details can really be enjoyable!

Anyway, let’s move on and take a look at her amazing expression! ♫

She’s so cute…!

The slightly mischievous look in her smile brings it all together! It’s perfect! The somewhat sideways glance of her eyes is also beautiful!

Even the smaller accessories like the pink scrunchie tying up her hair and the sunglasses are so nicely sculpted and painted to really bring out her cute expression to the fullest! (●´ω｀●)

But there are other intricate areas that I haven’t touched on yet, for instance…

The Picnic Basket!

△ Two lunch boxes and a canteen! Ready to have a picnic with you!
The items can also be removed from the basket!

△ The details on the weaving of the basket itself is also lovely!

Her Feet!
△ The lifted up foot has the shoe’s sole faithfully sculpted!
△The loose socks around her ankles bring out the innocent side of Nico! 

The included circular stand features Nico’s name as well as a refreshing, Summertime look! The colors makes me think of being under some trees!

Her expression really is adorable, but everything else about the figure is also an absolute pleasure to look at! From the smaller accessories to her outfit and of course the lovely curves of her body – it’s an item that no Nico fan should be without! (´□｀｡)

Shimakaze: Major Damage Ver.

Today’s main feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at an item up for preorder from AQUAMARINE…

Shimakaze: Major Damage Ver.!☆

From Kantai Collection -KanColle- comes a 1/8th scale figure of the destroyer, Shimakaze! She has been sculpted in her major damage version with a look of surprise and embarrassment on her face as her clothes and socks are torn away at the damage!

The original illustration from the game has been faithfully sculpted into figure form, even including the three cute Rensouhou-chan characters also taking damage around her! Be sure to dock her into your navy base!

“Hawaa~! I never thought they’d manage to hit me…!”

The ship that boasts one of the top class speeds of all the Kanmusu, Zekamashi aka Shimakaze has been transformed into a rather revealing major damage scale figure by AQUAMARINE! (´□｀｡)

The figure is filled with so many points where you just can’t see that little bit further… it plays with your imagination so very well!! Let’s take a look from a couple of different angles and you’ll get exactly what I mean!

This is how she looks from the back!

As she is posed with her legs lifted up, the figure does have a bit of a compact feeling to it… but then when you look at the long hair flowing around her ship parts and all the Rensouhou-chans that are posed around her, you’ll notice that there is a lot more volume to the figure than first meets the eye! (｡・д・｡)

A look from the side shows her ship parts nicely!

Plus it also shows off even more of the major damage!

I won’t say too much, but as you can see even the areas that were never visible in the original illustration have been carefully thought out for the figure’s design! ♪

The rather unique pose with her hips thrust forward is also very enjoyable from the side! This is what makes the world of figures so enjoyable!!

You can enjoy Shimakaze from all sorts of different angles! (●´ω｀●)

Another area that really grabs my attention is the way the skin sinks in around her torn knee-high socks!!

Plus the curves of her hips, stomach and chest…

Her belly button is also perfect!!

Also take note of her expression! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Shimakaze is normally very confident, so at times like this she has a cute little blush on her face! That pouting expression is so cute too!She’s trying so hard to hide it, which is just the way I like it!!

The three included Rensouhou-chans are also all adorable!

△ The screws on the back and even their little arms have lovely details!

Not only do you get to enjoy Zegamashi-chan, but all three of the Rensouhou-chans as well!

Be sure to take a nice close look at them once they join your collection! ☆

Yuriko Nanao: Floating Reading Space Ver.

Today I’m going to be taking a look at Phat!’s…
Yuriko Nanao: Floating Reading Space Ver.!☆

From the popular social game ‘IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Yuriko Nanao floating on a pool mattress while enjoying a book. The poolside version of Yuriko has been faithfully sculpted down to the finest of details. The included pool mattress helps to being out the atmosphere from the game even more!

Oooooohhhhh!!(´□｀｡)

The literature girl from the ‘IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE’ has been made into a very unique 1/8th scale figure by Phat! ♡

Look at the intricate frills on her mint green bikini!!

The swimsuit suits the shy but active young idol very nicely!!

The gentle smile on her face makes her look more grown-up than usual!

The figure is based on the ‘Floating Reading Space Ver.’ illustration, and has done really well in recreating all the details beautifully!! You don’t see many figures in this pose! It’s amazing how much there is to see and enjoy on a figure that is lying on her belly! For example… that little gap of her bottom catches the eye very quickly! ( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑

The soft and curvaceous shape of her thighs and bottom…!

The way the swimsuit is  digging into her skin at the tie on her back as well as on her bottom is simply delicious! The curves of her body really show off a young woman’s beauty! (●´ω｀●)

Now let’s move onto the left!

The contrast of the loose upper area and tight lower area!!

I don’t think I need to point out her rather bountiful bust and bottom, but personally I really also like her calves! The pull down on the legs that are posed upwards as really been beautifully sculpted!By the way… you’re going to have to wait until she is in your collection before you get to see her belly!★

Next up let’s look at her face…

… this sweet expression!!

It’s so hard to express my thoughts into words!!! I wish I could jump beside her at the pool and enjoy a calm day of reading! I picture myself asking her a question and then her looking up with this expression, brushing her hair from her ear with a “Hmm?”. (I should stop my fantasy here…)

This gentle appearance and charm has been created by the same sculptor behind Phat!’s IDOLM@STER series… Yusuke Masaki! (@masaki56)

I’ve been focusing on her lovely body more than anything else, but also make sure you notice the details of the swimsuit itself, as well as all the little accessories on her arms and neck… no matter what angle you choose to look from she is filled with highlights to enjoy!

By the way, the bracelet on her arm was not on the original illustration but was added on the figure as a way to hide the separation lines from the mould. The design is based on Yuriko’s ‘Wind Element’ card! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Another thing you have to take note of is the detail inside her book!

Each of the pages and the thickness of the book are beautifully done!

You would never have been able to see the second book’s cover in such detail on the original illustration! This is the power of the world of figures!!

However! There is something we still haven’t covered for a figure that has “Floating” in it’s name! The official photos show that she also comes with a pool mattress!

This is currently still in the final stages of development… but a figure sized pool mattress should allow for all sorts of fun!! (You could probably even float other figures like Nendoroids in water…!)

Phat’s Takamatsu (@Phat_stuff) has already shown that two Medicchu’s can float on the mattress at present! He even added a photo on his Twitter:

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

The 1/8th Scale…

Kaori Miyazono!♪

From the popular anime series ‘Your lie in April’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kaori Miyazono. The figure is based on an illustration drawn by the original creator of the series, Naoshi Arakawa. It captures the normally energetic Kaori with a slightly uncertain smile on her face.

The violin she holds in her arms has been intricately sculpted based on a real violin, and even the details and texture of her shoes have been carefully thought out. Careful attention has been given to even the smallest parts of the accessories and details of her clothes to create a figure of Kaori that fans will be proud to own.

Oooooooohhh! (´□｀｡)

From the lovely story that was broadcast at the very start of this year comes a 1/8th scale figure of the free-spirited heroine who can have a bit of a short temper, Kaori Miyazono! ♡

Apologies for the wait since her debut at AnimeJapan 2015!

At last the time has come for preorders for this amazing figure to open, so let me take a closer look for everyone! Her Tatsusumi Middle School Uniform has been beautifully sculpted with it’s grey blazer, blue blouse and red and white neck tie!

The creases in her sleeves and the loose tie really look amazing, and the use of colors really captures the gentle feeling of the character designs and Kaori’s character in particular!

The violin bow she holds as well as the violin held under her arm are both incredibly detailed! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ


△ The violin was sculpted using a real violin as a reference!

The textures of the various parts of the figure are also really well done! The fabric of her clothes looks like it should actually be soft to the touch, and the shining, polished look of the violin makes it look so very realistic! (●´ω｀●)


△ Even her shoes look lovely, and the base also brings out the atmosphere! ♪

Her nails have been painted a lovely light pink! ♪

Just think of all the passionate violin performances these fingers have made!! °・(ノД｀)・°・

But anyway, let’s take a bit to take a look at the heart of the figure…

Her beautiful expression!

Even though she is without a doubt smiling… why is it that there is something sad about her smile that gives the feeling this mysterious feeling that is so hard to look away from!! ・(ノД｀)・°・

She looks fantastic from the back too!

Her long blond hair is gently blowing in the Spring breeze, with each of the strands carefully sculpted all the way down to the bottom… plus that amazing soft looking skin behind her knees… the sculpting is one thing, but the paintwork is also simply stunning! Intricate use of gradients makes for such a detailed appearance! (/ω＼)

The figure was actually based on an illustration made by Naoshi Arakawa!!

Skeletal Sega Saturn & Nendoroid Sega Saturn

I have a weird pain in my legs today…
I think perhaps I have been exercising in my sleep! ( ･ὢ･ )

Anyway today I’m going to be taking a look at two items from FREEing, starting off with…

Skeleton Sega Saturn!

From the popular series that features characters that represent Sega’s past video game consoles, ‘Sega Hard Girls’ comes a scale figure of the ‘COOL’ Sega Saturn wearing a semi-transparent outfit!Her characteristic twin staves have been beautifully sculpted in her hands, and clear materials have been used to recreate the transparent effect of her costume, creating a figure filled with highlights! Enjoy the resurrected legend of the Sega Saturn console as an adorable character by your side!

Ooooooooohhh! (´□｀｡)

As the ‘Skeletal’ name suggests, this anthropomorphic version of the Sega Saturn has all sorts of clear parts! She has been sculpted in lovely detail for fans to enjoy!

I love the way her slowly becomes more transparent toward the tips! It gives her a lovely mysterious charm!

She has a lovely build which really comes out with the bare skin shown on areas such as her cute stomach and upper arms! The sculpting really makes it look as if her skin should be soft to the touch! ★

Plus her sleeveless jacket also features transparent parts that simply look amazing!

The billowing of the jacket and fluttering skirt also give a bit of a dynamic feeling to the sculpt! Plus even from the back that soft looking skin looks delicious!! (*゜ー゜*)

All the little accessories and details of the outfit are so filled with love! The colors are also magnificent! ♪

△The ribbons at her feet are not only sculpted to look light just like real fabric,
but the gradient paintwork also looks amazing!

Plus if we take a look from the side…!

Note the pleats on her skirt as well as the rather shapely body underneath it!

Once you’ve added her to your collection, be sure to take a nice long look…. with your fingers! 

Plus the neckband and twin staves can all be attached and removed as you see fit!

Nendoroid Sega Saturn!

From the anime adaption of ‘Sega Hard Girls’ titled ‘Hi☆sCoool! Seha Girls’ comes a Nendoroid of Sega Saturn! She comes complete with her twin staves as well as a Nendoroid-sized Sega Saturn console and controller for her to play on!She also comes with special sitting parts so she can plonk down and enjoy some gaming! Various expression parts are also included for a 64-bit class Nendoroid!

A cute smile, twin staves, dichromatic eyes and lovely black twin tails! Sega Saturn is also joining the Nendoroids! ♡

By the way, her black collar necklace attaches via ball joint at the back, so you can actually alter the angle that it is placed in! This allows for various different nuances and also means it won’t get the way of other poses!

She also comes with cute sitting parts that allow you to display her enjoying an epic game!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

△ Hey! I know this console!!

Nendoroid Sega Saturn even comes with a Nendoroid-sized Sega Saturn console and controller!!

The miniature console is so tiny, but has it’s characteristic design carefully sculpted on! She also comes with alternate expression parts that make her look a little bot more upset with the result of the game!

Although… if you change the way you’re looking at it, it can also kind of be seen as a victory pose! (/ω＼)

The ability to swap around parts and poses like this to create a little story with your favorite characters is one of the things that makes action figures like Nendoroids so much fun! ♪

Today’s main feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/7th scale…

Shiro!

From the anime series ‘No Game No Life’ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the younger of the ‘Kuuhaku’ gamer siblings, Shiro! The creative touch and colors of the original illustration the figure is based on has been carefully recreated using intricate sculptwork and painting techniques.

Her special base features the pattern of a chess board, a miniaturized Imanity throne as well as chibi character figures of Sora, Izuna, Jibril and Steph are all included! Enjoy the No Game No Life world with just one figure!

Oooooooooohhh!! (´□｀｡)

The school drop-out, anti-social gaming genius Shiro has become a lovely 1/7th scale figure by Phat! Company! Shiro herself looks fantastic, but the detail put into the chess board base and the chibi characters also included with the main figure are also amazing!! ★

The coloring and sculpting of the twists of her hair…!

This must have been quite the challenging sculpt! While the pose is relatively simple, there is still a certain dynamic element of the hair and body moving! The figure is an absolute treat to the eyes in so many different ways! ♥︎

The creases and waves in her uniform as she moves about have also been very intricately added onto the design! (σ・∀・)σ

The flowing hair and the waves in her uniform actually work very nicely with one and other! The creases in her knee high socks are also very satisfying!!

Then we come to this expression!!

She’s just too cute!! (/ω＼。)

I think my best thing about the expression is the way it is looking ever so slightly upwards… but… but my eyes keep getting drawn to the left side!

Just look at those colors and sculpt!!

I really can’t get enough angles of how lovely this hair looks! The gradient effect of the hair is simply stunning…

You really need to see this for yourself! ♪

I really have nothing but praise…! (ノД｀)

I would never have expected the unique colors from the original illustration would be able to be transformed into a figure so well, and on top of that bring out the atmosphere of the No Game No Life universe! Also note the details of the Earth she holds in her hands!

Phat-san always puts so much detail into the smaller parts of their figures!

Plus as if the detail on Shiro wasn’t enough, she still comes with a detailed base and a number of chibi characters to stand by her side!! Let’s take a look…

They’re all clearly made with so much love for the series!!

It’s hard to see these as extras! They are complete figures on their own!! (･Θ･;)

They each come with their very own little bases as well, so you can display them completely on their own separate from Shiro if you wish!

They look great from the back too!

Izuna’s big fluffy tail looks great… and Sora’s spiky hair! Jibril’s lovely purple-green gradient hair!☆

Plus if you remove all the chibi characters from the stand, you’ll also notice the lovely detail of the throne placed on the stand!!(｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Hmm? but there even seems to be something on the throne?

This is one of those product that can be enjoyed in so many different ways and so many different angles!! ♡

The No Game No Life world shrunk into 1/7th scale…

Shiro!

Golden Darkness -Trance of Darkness-

When I eat taiyaki I always eat from the head first. The best filling is without a doubt red and sweet bean paste! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the product currently up for preorder…

Golden Darkness -Trance of Darkness-

From the anime series with a second season coming in July 2015, ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a figure of Yami-chan, also known as ‘Golden Darkness’, transformed into her forbidden Darkness form! The figure has been intricately sculpted by the proficient sculptor, Abira.

Her long hair flowing around her is complimented by the pose that makes her appear to be floating in the air. Her rather sinister horns and claws are starkly contrasted by her cute expression and very revealing outfit, creating a very naughty looking Yami-chan for fans to enjoy in their collection!

The ultimate transformation that will send the universe into chaos! (`・д´・ ；)

Yami also known as Golden Darkness has been made into a lovely 1/8th scale figure transformed into her ‘Darkness’ form! Even though she has posed floating in mid air, the figure is perfectly stable! The mischievous  ‘Darkness‘ look has been captured so perfectly on that face too! ♡

A lower angle look from the back! <○><○>

Yami-chan’s long hair flows all around her body together with her outfit!

The sculpting really captures a perfect instant! The dynamic appearance is amazing! ε=(｡・д・｡)

I doubt there is anyone… but for those wondering why I decided to take a photo from a low angle, it was to show that the details normally hidden behind her hair have been beautifully sculpted too! Just take a look for yourself!

Another area that shows off the intricate details is her cute little toes! (●´ω｀●)

All the bumps and indents from her heel to the tips of her toes are lovely!

This is the kind of detail that separates scale figures from other categories!

Everything about this Yami-chan is gorgeous, but I really love the area around her thighs and hips!

They bring out the ladylike beauty of Yami-chan’s lovely figure! Be sure to take a nice close look if you choose to add her to your collection!

△ If you look close you can see the bumps of her rib cage!

Whoever thought that we would see the Yami wearing an outfit like this when she is so against perverted things…!

The outfit shows off so much skin…

…and the mischievous smile just makes it perfect!

Another thing to note is that while her skin looks lovely and soft… the contrast with her rather scary right hand is quite an eye catcher!

The sharp claws twisting around really look they could rip through anything! It really adds to the ‘little devil’ personality… creating a lovely contrast to her soft skin and smiling expression! Delicious!  *nom* (○´ㅂ`○) *nom*
