Megumi Kato: Bunny Ver. (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at FREEing’s…
Megumi Kato: Bunny Ver.!♡

From the anime series ‘Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend’ comes a 1/4th scale figure of the “main heroine” Megumi Kato dressed up in a sexy bunny girl outfit! The figure captures all of Megumi Kato’s charm in an impressive 1/4th scale, ensuring all the details illustrated by the original character designer Kurehito Misaki have been faithfully preserved on the figure.

Although she normally has a rather reserved personality, this figure has her dressed up in a sexy bunny girl outfit for fans to enjoy! Utaha Kasumigaoka has already been released and Eriri Spencer Sawamura is also planned to join the 1/4th scale B-style bunny girl figure series, so be sure to display all the girls together!

Those bunny ears look lovely and all, but I think my best part of the outfit is the fluffy-looking bunny tail on the back!! Plus from the back you can also see the realistic net tights with a seam down the center!

Let’s take a closer look at her face! (*´꒳`*)

The slightly open mouth with lipstick, upward glance and the blush on her cheeks makes her look so cute and defenceless while still leaving a nice dash of sexiness!

Also take a look at her build from this angle!

She is posed with her hands held behind her back, which brings out her shoulder blades which have been sculpted so nicely! The wide open back has so many ups and downs to slide your finger along! ♥

The tights are made from real fabric for an authentic appearance! (´□｀｡)

The authentic look makes her skin seem all the more realistic underneath as well, making her look so soft!! Net tights really are amazing!

The figure stands approximately 430mm in height!

1/8th Scale Mitsuha Miyamizu & Taki Tachibana (Your Name.)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale figures of…
Mitsuha Miyamizu & Taki Tachibana!

“Searching for someone that I’ve never met“

From the popular film that was recently released on Blu-ray & DVD, Your Name. comes 1/8th scale figures of both the main characters: Mitsuha Miyamizu & Taki Tachibana!

Note that these figures are not sold as a set, but as individual figures, but as you can see from the first photo their bases can be connected together for a joint pose! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

The pose when they are connected is based on the illustration used on one of the film’s posters!

You can of course also pose them apart!

Simply find the pose that you think suits them best!

I also love the difference in height that is captured when the two are displayed together! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Mitsuha Miyamizu!

Her hair has been sculpted as if fluttering in the wind, which each strand of hair sculpted with a lovely dynamic appearance that brings the figure to life!

Taki Tachibana!

From the hit movie “Your Name.” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Taki Tachibana, capturing the pose used for the iconic main visual of the movie. The powerful emotions from the film have been captured in the figure for you to remember whenever you see the figure by your side. The base of the figure is designed to connect with the 1/8th scale figure of Mitsuha Miyamizu (sold separately), allowing you to fully recreate the visual in figure form.

On the original illustration you could never see the details on the back, but on the figure you can enjoy from any angle you please! His bag has a lovely shiny appearance to it thanks to the use of a glossy paintwork. The natural movement of his tie blowing in the wind has also been captured nicely! ♪

The creases on his pants have also been sculpted in such a way that you can make out the shape of his legs on the other side without even having to see them! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Urashima Kotetsu (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

I just realized we are already in August! I have hardly done anything Summer-like this Summer except maybe eating some shaved ice! I can’t believe how much time flies!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at an item that will be up for preorder from tomorrow, the 1/8th scale figure…

Urashima Kotetsu!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Urashima Kotetsu based on his standard standing illustration from the game!
His spirited smile, the intricate wave patterns on his kimono, his tied up bright orange hair and the rigid armor that covers various parts of his body have all been captured as faithfully as possible for fans to enjoy Urashima Kotetsu by their side. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“Urashima Kotetsu, heading into battle!”

The wakizashi, Urashima Kotetsu is joining the Touken Ranbu 1/8th scale figure series! The figure is based on his standard pose from the game and captures his spirited personality so perfectly in figure form! (*´꒳`*)

His bright orange hair has been sculpted in amazing detail!

The flowing look of his outfit and the glossy and heavy look of the armor contrast really nicely, with the difference in textures captured with different paints!

The area around his belly button is filled with so much details, just look at all the different textures and colors around that area! (´□｀｡)

Plus just look at his innocent smile!

Also note that his abs and upper arm are all sculpted with a powerful look you would expect of a Touken Danshi!

Plus if you look from a lower angle…

You can see the way his outfit has been sculpted around the appearance of his tones abs with the ups and downs of the sculpt! Details like this never cease to amaze me!!

Plus, speaking of details…

Look at the intricate pattern on the collar area of his outfit!!!

Most people will probably look at the adorable Kamekichi on his shoulder first, but when you look even close and realise that this pattern is actually sculpted onto the figure… that’s when you realize how absolutely amazing the detail is on this figure!

When we take a look from the back! (*´∀｀*)

Taking a peek from a lower angle allows you to see that even the bow underneath his outfit has been sculpted to keep the realism of the figure as best as possible!

Rem: Birthday Lingerie Ver. (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at this figure from KADOKAWA…
Rem: Birthday Lingerie Ver.!

From the popular anime series ‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the younger of the twin maid sisters, Rem! The figure is based on the illustration drawn by Shinichirou Otsuka for Rem’s birthday event that took place in February 2017. The gentle smile on her face and the look in her eyes makes it seem like it’s just you and her, ready to enjoy some time together for her birthday.

Her babydoll lingerie is made using translucent parts for a faithful rendition of the original illustration. The nanobead cushion she is seated on is included with the figure, with an original design based on her hair accessories. It can be used as a display base for a more unique display.

“I’ll always be by your side, whenever you need me…”

From ‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes an adorable figure of the younger of the twin maid sisters that work at the Roswall mansion – Rem dressed up in cute pink lingerie!

Those gentle eyes and smile looking up from her sitting pose… you can’t help but feel charmed by her sweet appearance! The innocent smile combined with the sexy pink lingerie creates a lovely contrast that makes the figure all the more appealing!

Let’s take a look from the back, where you can get a lovely look at the bumps of her shoulder blades which are just calling out to be touched!

The lingerie makes use of semi-transparent parts allowing you to make out the shape of her body on the other side of the fabric! ♪

The very front portion of her hair also has a slightly translucent look to it to capture the same effect from the original illustration by Shinichirou Otsuka!

At first it might just look like she is sitting while holding her knees, but the special thing about this pose is the way she has her heels up off the floor in a tip-toe pose!!

Not only does this pose mean that she is pulling the muscles tighter for a better look at her legs and feet, but it also matches up with the blush on her face to bring out that cute embarrassed look!

The best thing is you can enjoy her from any angle you please!

The figure has been sculpted in amazing detail all around, so be sure to take a look from all the angles that were never visible on the original illustration! ♡

Just looking into her eyes makes me feel like I’m going to melt! The combination of this adorable face together with the cute outfit it just too much!!

Shigure: Casual Ver. (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

The office has really started to get restless with all the WonFes preparations! Just over a week until the big day!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Shigure: Casual Ver.!

From the popular browser game “Kantai Collection -KanColle-” comes a 1/7th scale figure of the second Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, Shigure, wearing a casual outfit. The figure is based on an illustration found on a poster included in the November 2016 edition of NYANTYPE Magazine, with the lower half of the figure that was never visible on the illustration sculpted with an original interpretation.

The base of the figure has a pile of autumn leaves by her feet to bring out a late autumn atmosphere as Shigure sits on a wooden fence ready to enjoy her day off from the fleet. Be sure to enjoy her company in your collection!

“Admiral, it’s starting to get a little cold out, isn’t it? I’ll be alright.”

A figure based on an illustration on a poster included with the November 2016 edition of NYANTYPE Magazine, including some original interpretation of the lower half of the figure! This was a figure made mostly due to the fact that the planner for the figure had fallen in love with the original illustration! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

While the figure does have a bit of a boyish appearance, the ladylike elements of Shigure’s body and her casual outfit have all been faithfully preserved! Plus just look at the details put into the creases on her outfit! They look amazing!

The sculpt of the outfit around her hips captures how the outfit fits to her body so well… plus also take note of the slightly crumpled look of the shirt at the be upper arms!!

The frills at the bottom of her vest and the pleats of her skirt are also stunning, and all come together to make such a beautiful wardrobe!!

She is posed leaning against a wooden fence with one leg up in a rather relaxed looking pose, and those bare legs are just the right thickness – not too thin, but just the right size to keep that soft and touchable looking appearance! The dent formed at the back of her knee has also been sculpted so perfectly you can’t help but want to slide your finger along it!

Next let’s take a look at her hair and facial expression! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

First of all note the iconic tied up hair over her shoulder! Her hair also looks a lot more ruffled than normal, further enhancing the casual look of the figure! ♪

Plus that cute open mouth!

It’s as if she was standing there waiting for her Admiral to arrive, and just as she saw him she inadvertently said “Ah”! (In my mind the story continues with the Admiral not noticing Shigure and wandering around looking for her for awhile)

The figure really does capture the scene so nicely, telling a whole story with just the one single figure!! Also take note of the details of the various accessories and details around her! For instance the camera on a strap around her neck….

And even the piles of Autumn leaves that set the season for the figure!

Be sure to take a nice close look at all the details once she joins your collection! ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ

There are even details to note on the painting side of things! Even the leaves at the bottom – while mostly yellow – feature some shade of green on them, adding an extra little bit of realistic detail to the figure! ♪

If you match the angle with her gaze you get a nice upward glance peeking up over the glasses, and the higher angle also captures the details of the original illustration beautifully – note the slight slopes around her chest as well as the way the clothes distort to match them!

Truly a figure that can be enjoyed from all sorts of different angles! Be sure to find your personal favorite once she joins your collection!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Shiro and Nendoroid Jibril (No Game No Life)

I’ve always has a bit of a secret interest in chess. I wish I could get the change to say “checkmate” one day…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a a look at…
The 1/8th Scale Shiro! ☆

From the anime series “No Game No Life” comes a 1/8th scale figure of the younger of the ‘Blank’ gamer siblings – Shiro! She has been sculpted holding a playing card in one hand and chess pieces in the other with a playful smile on her face that shows she is not worried about the competition.

Each and every strand of her hair has been carefully sculpted and painted with a brilliant gradient seen in the original illustration to capture her iconic appearance in figure form. The playing cards and chess pieces all around her are all a part of the figure and base, and the base itself is patterned like a chessboard to fully bring out the No Game No Life atmosphere! Be sure to add the peerless gamer to your collection and enjoy her company whenever you please!

“Omega good job!”

From the “No Game No Life” film that starts in Japan this weekend comes a scale figure of Shiro! The transparent, flowing image of the original illustration has been captured…

Each and every strand of her hair has been sculpted in such detail!

Not to mention the way the colors differ depending on the angle you look from!

The appearance of the gradient has been carefully calculated from each angle…

To faithfully preserve the beautiful colors of her hair no matter what angle you look from! (｀；ω；´)

The figure has been sculpted by Good Smile Company’s Kataharaitashi! The same sculptor who has worked on various Nendoroids such as Nendoroid Elsa, as well as scale figures such as Nico Yazawa: Picnic Girl!

All the figures have the feeling of “motion” captured so beautifully!

The paintwork was by Good Smile Company’s Ekoshi! ♡

Some examples of past work include Hatsune Miku V4X as well as various work on the LoveLive! Nendoroid series and much more!

Working with colors to bring a sculpt to life is not an easy task, but all the figure by Ekoshi have such a lively, beautiful feeling about them!!

Anyway, let’s get back to Shiro! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ三ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

The cards all floating around Shiro are of course attached to her hair, but the positions are very carefully thought out so that it all looks perfectly natural and they really do look like they are floating in the air around her! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

A quick size comparison with an iPhone6!

The figure is only 1/8th scale, but the impressive volume of the hair gives an impressive size, and the atmosphere of the series is captured in the base so effectively!! There is so much to enjoy at once! I only noted the cards above, but there are also chess pieces at the bottom of the base!

They are all very carefully positioned and sculpted with a specific feeling of motion to all come together and complete the dynamic appearance of the figure!

I alerady touched on the cute sticking-out tongue earlier, but also note the dainty hand holding the chess pieces! ★

Even her fingernails have each been carefully sculpted!

Plus each of her nails are also painted with a slightly different color!! The fact that they are sculpted slightly grown out is also so amazing! _:(´ཀ`」∠):_

The product planner who is also a big fan of the series, Hamako, made some playing cards based on the design of the figure! I decided to borrow them and use them for an image cut! ★

It really is one of those figures that can be enjoyed from absolutely any angle!! You won’t be disappointed if you choose to add her to your collection!! I highly recommend it!

Nendoroid Jibril!

From the anime series “No Game No Life” comes a Nendoroid of Jibril, the youngest and strongest of the Flugel race! Even as a Nendoroid the beautiful gradient colors of her hair have been faithfully preserved, and her large wings look as angelic as ever.

She comes with three face plates including a standard smart looking face, a scornful smile as well as an excited expression for when she can’t control her desires. Optional parts include a book, a tablet as well as a large selection of arm and leg parts to create various scenes from the series! Enjoy the small and adorable Jibril in your collection!

Even in Nendoroid size, the gradient color of her hair has been faithfully preserved! ♪

Rem & Ram: Swimsuit Ver. (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Today I’ll be taking a look at these two twins currently up for preorder!

Rem: Swimsuit Ver. & Ram: Swimsuit Ver.! ♡

From the anime series ‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes a figure of the younger of the twin maids at the Roswaal mansion. From this set of S-style figures the series will all feature a unified 3mm neck joint, allowing you to switch the head parts between different S-style figures! Look forward to more releases soon! *Each sold separately.

The first in the upgraded S-style series are the Re:ZERO twin maids!

Both of the twin maids from the Roswaal mansion have been sculpted into cute 1/12th scale figures wearing swimsuits matching their hair colors!

The figures stand approximately 130mm in height making them a very easy to collect and display size, even for those collections that are running out of space!

They are both holding a popsicle with a cute smile!! Just looking at their smiles makes me want to smile as well! ( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Both are new additions to FREEing’s S-Style series!

What is the S-style Series?

Fun and easy to collect! These small and stylish palm-sized figures are reasonably priced and easy to collect! That said, they are still top quality and super cute, making for an all new standard of collectible figures.

*Certain parts of figures require simple assembly after purchase.

The S-style series has also been upgraded with these two figures to feature a a unified 3mm neck joint, allowing you to switch the head parts between different S-style figures! ★

The fact that they connect with a joint also means you can not only face left and right, but also alter the angle for various different nuances while posing!

If you change the angle to have the mouth hidden behind the popsicle like with Rem here, it suddenly makes for a rather different appearance! ☆

The next point I want to focus on…

Are the beautiful curves of their bodies!

You can see the difference in their builds, particularly from a higher angle!

I’m also quite a fan of the lower angles too!

The curves formed from the thighs up to their bottoms is so very delicious!! The sculpt of the frills on their swimsuits has also been very carefully made, together with the various creases! Even though they are rather small as far as scale figures go, you can really see a lot of effort was put into them!

Be sure to add the twin maids in swimsuits to your collection!

Nikkari Aoe (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
The 1/8th Scale Nikkari Aoe!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Nikkari Aoe based on his standard standing illustration from the game! His charming facial expression, white cloak and long hair blowing in the wind have all been captured in careful detail to capture the mysterious Aoe in figure form. The sculpt has captured Aoe’s character in beautiful detail and he is ready to stand by your side, so be sure to add him to your collection!

“Oh? Are you interested in me?”

The famous sword said to even be able to cut through ghosts, Nikkari Aoe is being transformed into a handsome scale figure!

The large white cloak he has draped over his shoulder makes use of translucent parts to faithfully capture the see-through look from the original illustration!

▲ He looks great from the back too! ♪

Note that the armored parts of his outfit have a shiny glossy finish, while the belt and other areas have a semi-matte finish to give them that leathery appearance!

Plus just look at all the creases in his outfit! They have all been sculpted in such intricate detail – the way they are done really make it look like the clothes are being “worn”, if you know what I mean. You can really imagine the body underneath the clothes thanks to the way they are creased. (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

His beautiful long hair has also been carefully preserved, with the unique colors recreated with a gentle gradient effect! ♡

The soft appearance of the white fabric has also been preserved through the sculpt – the gentle outline and coloring make it appear to have a soft and thin texture! ★

The figure was sculpted by Max Factory’s Nanako!

The first time I saw the figure I thought it had to be Nanako!

That wrist bone and palm…! (´□｀｡)

Nikkari Aoe doesn’t show off a lot of bare skin, but this one little gap gives you a little peek! The closed hand holding the fabric and the joints of his fingers to create that motion have all been sculpted with so much detail!!

His refreshing gaze as well as the hair covering up his other eye have also all been included, plus of course that mysterious smile of his!

The exquisite look of those lips!! (/ω＼)

The charm of the illustration has been transformed into a figure so very perfectly! It’s as if the illustration just jumped into the 3D world!!

The shape of his lips also look great from a higher angle!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at two of FREEing’s items…

Yui Kotegawa: Bunny Ver. &
Mikan Yuuki: Bunny Ver.! ☆

Just like all the previous figures in FREEing’s bunny girl series the net tights are made from actual fabric for a more realistic appearance!

These are not the first in this particular set either! Golden Darkness and Momo have already previously been released! (∩・∀・)∩

They are all a part of FREEing’s B-Style series!

What is B-style?

Sexy & Gorgeous! Impressive 1/4th scale figures mostly dressed up as bunny girls, but some in other sexy outfits as well! The massive size allows for incredible sculptwork, and the net tights on the figures make use of real fabric for a more realistic appearance. Keep some cute B-Style girls by your side!

Mikazuki Munechika: Awakened Ver. (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Thanks to everyone who tuned into today’s ORANGE ROUGE live stream! Today I’m going to be taking a look at the 1/8th scale…
Mikazuki Munechika: Awakened Ver.!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a 1/8th scale figure of Mikazuki Munechika based on his “Awakened” appearance.

The powerful impact of his pose together with the gorgeous details of his outfit have all been captured in careful detail, with the intricate golden patterns woven into his dark blue kimono faithfully included on the figure. The vivid gradient of the kimono as also been preserved to fully capture Mikazuki’s charm, and can be enjoyed from any angle you please. Mikazuki Munechika is said to be the most beautiful of the Five Great Swords, so be sure to add his beauty to your collection!

“A good fight. Time to take it seriously.”

The most beautiful of the Five Great Swords, Mikazuki Munechika is back once again as a 1/8th scale figure, this time in his “Awakened” version!

The figure was shown as a prototype back during the 2017 Winter Wonder Festival, and now it is finally ready to go up for preorder! ヽ(*´Д｀*)ﾉ

This is how he looks from the back!

The twist in his hips and the movement of the outfit together with the twist have all been captured beautifully! (∩・∀・)∩

Just like the previously released Mikazuki Munechika, this version also includes the intricate patterns and prints of the outfit!

This design is easily one of the most detailed designs that our manufacturing team have ever had to deal with, but it comes out looking so beautiful and the way the light reflects against it brings out the glossy look o the fabric, as well as the creases that form from the dynamic poses! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

The contrast between “Still” and “Dynamic”!

This time around the figure is based on Mikazuki’s Awakened appearance that he takes when unleashing a powerful attack in combat! The composed and confident look on his face captures his gallant character so beautifully!

The dirt and tears in his outfit from the battle have also been preserved on the figure!

▲ The “dirty” look has been captured so perfectly!

The amount of dirt and tears of the outfit on areas that were never visible on the original illustration have all been carefully considered based on the front appearance!

The way the tears and dirt have been included on the figure establish the situation and tell a story as to how the fight has gone down!

▲The cut into his chest and the tear in his outfit where he was cut… the scrapes on his arm… just looking at them make you realise how heated the battle has been!

While I love figures for their artistic beauty, I also love having them set in a situation like this so that you can think about their character and background as you look at the beautiful figure! ★

Mikazuki Munechika: Awakened Ver. has been sculpted by Sato!

This is the same sculptor that has brought us previous Touken Ranbu scale figures such as Yamatonokami Yasusada and Okurikara! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

This figure is rather different to the previous Touken Ranbu scale figures as the Awakening version is a more focused on a look in combat, but there is still a very refined and graceful look to Mikazuki’s stance and sculpt!

They often say that a good sword fight is just as beautiful as a dance, but looking at this figure was the first time that I thought that may actually be true!

The stance, the way his clothes flow around him, and the movement captured in his feet all show off his fighting prowess! The details on the accessories of his outfit together with his hair blowing in the wind as he moves around are also all so perfect!!

The figure captures both the rough side of combat together with the elegance of Mikazuki for beautiful contrast with such amazing attention to detail!!

Below are some of the points of the figure that really stood out to me!

– Feet –

The tips of his toes clearly have so much strength put into them capturing the tension of the battle and also causing the tabi to come with a very uneven sculpt. The hakama he is wearing also has a beautifully soft look to it as it swirls around with his motion!

Also note the motion and details included on the tassels!

– From the Back–

As I had just mentioned, the motion of the tassels is incredible, and from the back they look even more amazing as they flick around together with the flapping motion of the blue flap.

If you look close you’ll even notice that the reverse side of the flap even has the pattern and the back-stitching of the tassels! One of the best things about figures is that you can see all the areas that were never visible on the original illustration – simply pick the any angle you wish!!

– Body –

The bare skin Mikazuki is showing from his right shoulder down to his waist looks so impressive in so many different ways! Just look at those abs and pectoral muscles! (/ω＼)

Mikazuki may be known as a character that takes things at his own pace, but looking at this figure you can certainly see he is ready to fight with the best of the sword boys!

Also note the thickness of his gloves! You can see the point the end at his elbows there is a sudden drop in thickness to reveal his toned arms!

▲I can just imagine his combat lines playing through my head!

– Facial Expression –

Last but not least: His gallant facial expression!

Those sharp eyes and shouting mouth with his lips and teeth all sculpted so amazingly!! It’s certainly a different impression to the previous Mikazuki, but still a very important part of his character!! I’m so glad I can look at it so close up now!! (｀；ω；´)

Also note those beautiful crescent moons in his pupils!! Looking right into his eyes like this is probably my favorite way to look at the figure!! ♡

There is really far too much to look at with a figure like this! I hope I managed to capture at least most of his charm for everyone! Be sure to take a nice close look from all sorts of different angles once he joins your collection!
