I spent one week in England once as a home-stay ! I remember that before bed I was given a glass of warm milk and a chocolate chip cookie to eat! It was delicious!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Alice Cartelet!

From the anime series ‘Hello!! Kin-iro Mosaic’ comes a Nendoroid of the English girl who adores both Japan and Shinobu, Alice Cartelet! She comes with three expressions including a cheerful smile, an excited expression as well as a spaced out expression with a pale face.

Optional parts include her favorite Japanese umbrella as well the Japanese doll pencil box she makes use of at school. Enjoy the simple yet lovable everyday life of Alice by your side in Nendoroid size!

Ooooooooohhh!!! (´□｀｡)

The blond haired, blue-eyed English girl who adores Japanese culture is joining the Nendoroid series!! Even the ever so slight pink tips of her hair have been faithfully included recreating her ‘Strawberry Blond’ hair! The Japanese hairpin as well as the Japanese style umbrella are also adorably shrunk into Nendoroid size to show her love for Japan!! (●´ω｀●)

The cute peach colored cardigan she wears over her uniform really brings out her character as well! She’s just so cute!!


△ I love the loose feeling around her hips!

The Japanese umbrella is included with hand parts to hold it as her first optional part! It’s quick and easy to attach and remove!

Her twintails are fitted with Nendoroid joints for all sorts of poses and different nuances!

Anyway, let’s move on to her expression parts! ☆

Whenever things get a little too exciting for her she often takes this cute pose… which looks amazing in Nendoroid size!!

Plus, if you change the way you look at the expression, you can actually change the interpretation quite a lot! It can kind of be used to make her look like she is regretting or feeling jealous about something!

After the long weekend that was WonFes I got a nice 13 hours of sleep in yesterday! Air con… bed… sleep… it was divine!!!

Anyway, even though we are well into the hottest days of the year, today I’m going to be introducing a rather warmly dressed Nendoroid…

Nendoroid Anna!♡

From the hit film ‘Frozen’ comes a Nendoroid of Anna, the younger sister who longs to reconnect with her sister Elsa! The cute freckles on her face have been faithfully included on her Nendoroid rendition, and the outfit she wears to keep the cold out has also been shrunk down into Nendoroid size! The cape, hat and gloves are all removable, so you can also pose her simply wearing her dress with it’s adorable patterns!

She also comes with special parts that allow you to display her walking along with her hands behind her back! Olaf is also included in an alternate version wearing a hat and holding a cane, and she even comes with special hand parts to display her holding hands with Nendoroid Elsa! Be sure to display Elsa, Anna and Olaf all together!

Oooooohhh! (●´ω｀●)

From the first ever Disney movie to feature two heroines, ‘Frozen’ comes a Nendoroid of the younger sister with a fun and cheerful attitude – Anna!! ♪

Take a look at the freckles that made Anna so adorable in the series! They have been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size and look so cute… this might the first ever Nendoroid to have freckles!

Her eyes look like they are brimming with curiosity, and the bright and cheerful smile really brings Anna’s personality into the Nendoroid! Just like Elsa the spirit of Disney has been nicely captured and transformed into Nendoroid size! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Let’s take a look at how she looks from the back!

The flowing appearance of her cape and even the little ornaments around the edges have been faithfully included! ♥︎

The bonnet connects between the two hair parts, meaning it can also be removed!

On top of that, you can also remove her cape and gloves to display her in a much more simple outfit that is just as cute!! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Removing the bonnet also makes it more clear that the one section of her hair is a different, lighter color!

The braids that twirl all around and over her shoulders also incorporate the different color! What lovely detail! (´□｀｡)

But that’s not the only amazing details! Take a look at her outfit!! While some of the most intricate details has to be held back on, the flower prints on her skirt and chest as well as the patterns along the bottom have been kept even in Nendoroid size! The golden hemming of the upper garment also looks gorgeous, and will stay that way all the way to the actual product!! ♪

She also comes with alternate arm parts to display this pose! (●´ω｀●)

△ A more reserved pose for the normally lively Anna! So cute!

The standard expression that I’ve been using up until now has a rather playful feel to it that really captures Anna’s personality beautifully!

Display her with Elsa and have them looking toward one and other like this!! (´□｀｡)

She also comes with some lovely optional parts other than her clothes!

Olaf is included once again!

This time he has a hat and cane! Summer version Olaf!☆

Olaf’s head is connected with a ball joint which means you can alter the angle to better match various situations as well… plus… the optional part comes with an optional part!

A hair(?) part is included for when his hat is removed!

Today’s main feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

The 1/8th Scale…

Kaori Miyazono!♪

From the popular anime series ‘Your lie in April’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kaori Miyazono. The figure is based on an illustration drawn by the original creator of the series, Naoshi Arakawa. It captures the normally energetic Kaori with a slightly uncertain smile on her face.

The violin she holds in her arms has been intricately sculpted based on a real violin, and even the details and texture of her shoes have been carefully thought out. Careful attention has been given to even the smallest parts of the accessories and details of her clothes to create a figure of Kaori that fans will be proud to own.

Oooooooohhh! (´□｀｡)

From the lovely story that was broadcast at the very start of this year comes a 1/8th scale figure of the free-spirited heroine who can have a bit of a short temper, Kaori Miyazono! ♡

Apologies for the wait since her debut at AnimeJapan 2015!

At last the time has come for preorders for this amazing figure to open, so let me take a closer look for everyone! Her Tatsusumi Middle School Uniform has been beautifully sculpted with it’s grey blazer, blue blouse and red and white neck tie!

The creases in her sleeves and the loose tie really look amazing, and the use of colors really captures the gentle feeling of the character designs and Kaori’s character in particular!

The violin bow she holds as well as the violin held under her arm are both incredibly detailed! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ


△ The violin was sculpted using a real violin as a reference!

The textures of the various parts of the figure are also really well done! The fabric of her clothes looks like it should actually be soft to the touch, and the shining, polished look of the violin makes it look so very realistic! (●´ω｀●)


△ Even her shoes look lovely, and the base also brings out the atmosphere! ♪

Her nails have been painted a lovely light pink! ♪

Just think of all the passionate violin performances these fingers have made!! °・(ノД｀)・°・

But anyway, let’s take a bit to take a look at the heart of the figure…

Her beautiful expression!

Even though she is without a doubt smiling… why is it that there is something sad about her smile that gives the feeling this mysterious feeling that is so hard to look away from!! ・(ノД｀)・°・

She looks fantastic from the back too!

Her long blond hair is gently blowing in the Spring breeze, with each of the strands carefully sculpted all the way down to the bottom… plus that amazing soft looking skin behind her knees… the sculpting is one thing, but the paintwork is also simply stunning! Intricate use of gradients makes for such a detailed appearance! (/ω＼)

The figure was actually based on an illustration made by Naoshi Arakawa!!

Kao-chan’s unique expression and incredible details… you need to sit down and take a nice long look at them for yourself!

Nendoroid Northern Princess

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Northern Princess!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Abyssal warship, ‘Northern Princess’! The enemy ship looks as adorable as ever, but don’t be fooled by her appearance – she is equipped with all sorts of highly dangerous weaponry which has all been faithfully recreated in Nendoroid size! the batteries on her main turret can even be moved by rotating the runway on the side!

Optional parts include two of the rather peculiar aircraft that fly by her side, as well as the ‘Zero’ plane that she hold in her hands. Additionally, she also comes with parts that allow you recreate certain parts of her special Christmas version that was seen during the Christmas event in December 2014.

Three expression parts are also included – her standard expression, a shouting expression and a cute expression with upturned eyes. Various different parts and expressions to create the Northern Princess you want by your side!

“Go… back…!”
The adorable Abyssal ship ‘Hoppo-chan’ also known as the Northern Princess or by her Japanese name ‘Hokuhou Seiki’ is joining the Nendoroids! ♡

Everything about her design from the beautiful white hair, the little horns on top of it, her bare feet, cute white mittens and one piece dress have all been minimized into cute Nendoroid size!! You can also see from the photo above she also comes with all sorts of ship parts!! ヽ(ｏ´∀｀ｏ)ﾉ

She also comes with three expression parts!!

First up is this shouting expression!


△Note the open mouth and cross looking mouth!! Scary and cute all at once!

Next up we this glaring expression…

An expression that makes you think of one of her famous lines!

“I said… don’t… come any… closer…”

She may be adorable, but don’t underestimate her!

There have been many admirals who have suffered the wrath of her fire power… (´□｀｡) As I already mentioned earlier, she  also comes with all sorts of ship parts! I’ll take a closer look at them in a bit!

The third and final expression is a slightly mischievous looking expression with upturned eyes! ♥︎

This expression suits her mysterious side so very well!! It’s so adorable!! Each of the expressions really brings out a different side of Hoppo-chan allowing you to enjoy various different sides to her! ♡

Hmm? The ship parts seem a little different now?! 

Let’s take a closer look at how they work! The previous KanColle Nendoroids are all known to have very mobile ship parts… and Abyssal ships are no exception!! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Let’s take a look from the back! ♪

Each of the arrows in the above photos represents a Nendoroid joint and the areas surrounded by dots can also be moved!

She can be posed in all sorts of ways just like her KanMusu counterparts!

Any just in case you were wondering, these photos are only to show off the ship parts! Don’t go looking underneath her billowing one piece which has been faithfully sculpted!

Anyway!

The runway on the side of her turret also features another little gimmick! If you rotate the runway the turret moves like so!

The turrets are firing away at enemies!! Plus as always, all the ship parts can also be removed if you want to display a much less threatening Hoppo-chan!

The mouth area can be opened and closed and the effect parts can be removed!

You can also see some the damaged appearance of the runway has been included on the design! (*´Д｀)=з

Here is Hoppo-chan all alone!! ♪

She’s playing with her little aeroplane!! ☆

She’s just… SO CUTE!! 

The small appearance is part of what makes her look so cute, but also note that her hair has some incredible volume… perhaps more than any of the previous Nendoroid Kanmusu!

The way her hair expands outward…

If you take a look at her from directly above you’ll get a good feeling for the space it takes up!

You can’t even see her body any more!!

While the skirt gives the Nendoroid a rather dynamic feeling, the hair is no exception! It really seems to be moving about, and no matter what angle you choose to look from it simply looks fantastic! (●´ω｀●)

Holding her in my hand like in the photo before this one actually makes me feel strangely relaxed inside…

Plus there are still more optional parts to come…! ♡

She comes with a hat and present part!!

This allows you to recreate part of the limited edition Christmas Hoppo-chan that was seen during Christmas 2014! The hat attaches onto the left horn part!! (・∀・)

Ship parts with a Christmas Tree are also included! っヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

△ The Christmas tree is interchangeable with the standard part!

Nendoroid Hoppo-chan is scheduled to be released in December 2015, which makes these parts rather appropriate… she would make a great Christmas present for any Admirals out there!★

△ She would make a lovely Christmas decoration too!

Now… another thing many of you might be wondering while looking at these photos is…how is is that some photos how Hoppo-chan’s mouth, and others hide it??

The collar part of her outfit has a thick and thin side to it, meaning you can switch the part around to show more or less of the face! Many of my photos are taken at an angle so some of them might be hard to tell which side of the collar I am using though… sorry! (/ω＼)

Simply put though, by turning this part around, you can choose between hiding and showing Hoppo-chan’s mouth! ☆

Combined with all the expressions and parts, this allows for so many different posing options!! Be sure to add the cute Hoppo-chan to your collection and give her the love she deserves… I’m sure she won’t sink your fleet!

Nendoroid Umi Sonoda: Training Outfit Ver.

The heat has gotten to me really badly now… I almost can’t stop eating ice cream to keep cool! If this keeps up I get the feeling my weight is going to regret it!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Umi Sonoda:
Training Outfit Ver.☆

From the popular anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a Nendoroid of Umi Sonoda wearing her training outfit! She comes with both an embarrassed expression to show that she can be rather shy, as well as a serious expression to show her diligent side! A diet plan as well as a practice menu are also included for her to ensure the other μ’s members are keeping up with their training too!

She also comes with parts that allow you to pose her shooting a ‘Love Arrow’, perfect to pose together with the embarrassed expression! A special ‘holding hands’ hand part is also included for use with the ‘Ima wa Bokura no Naka de’ LoveLive! Nendoroid series. The other μ’s members are also going to be joining the Nendoroid series in their training outfits, so be sure to look out for them too!

Ooooooooooohhh!! (σ・∀・)σ

The beautiful girl with a dignified air about her! Nendoroid Umi-chan is back again in another outfit!! She normally has a serious, strict personality… which is what makes the rather worried and embarrassed expression so amazing! Just look how adorable she looks!!

She is the second in this second set of LoveLive! Nendoroids, following on from Honoka-chan!♡

#1: Nendoroid Honoka Kosaka: Training Outfit Ver.

Umi-chan’s training outfit is rather different to Honoka’s! She is wearing a hoodie and three-quarter length pants for a much more sporty style! (*´Д｀)=з

If we spin her around to the back, you can even see that the hood of the hoodie has been faithfully sculpted onto the design!

There aren’t very many sporty girls in the Nendoroid series! It’s quite a refreshing sight!★ 

They do look rather easy to move around in, which is exactly what I would expect Umi-chan to wear! The fact that you can see her ankles sticking out still give the outfit a rather feminine charm at the same time! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

The embarrassed pose I started off with is lovely, but another pose that suits this expression nicely is this one!

Love Arrow, Shoot!

The hesitant look on her face is what makes the expression so cute! ♥︎
Don’t worry Umi-chan! Your arrow has pierced my heart!!

Of course, you can also use the expressions from the original ‘Bokura wa Ima no Naka De‘ Nendoroid!

By the way, this pose makes use of the same arm parts as the above ‘Love Arrow’ pose! Just changing the angle of the arms can make for a rather different pose! ♪

You can also make use of the blowing kiss expression included with Nendoroid Umi Sonoda for a much more confident looking Love Arrow!! ♥︎

Having both of the Nendoroid definitely allows for a lot more options to enjoy!I’m sure Umi fans will come up with many more lovely ideas too!!

However let’s get back to today’s Nendoroid! She actually comes with another expression!

A serious expression! <○><○>

This expression captures Umi-chan’s strong will as she shows her stricter side with the other μ’s members! The huge difference between this expression and the previous embarrassed expression is quite a jump!! (´□｀｡)
She also comes with a practice menu and attachment parts to stand it up!

The details…!!

I can’t wait to display all the girls in their training outfits being lectured by Umi-chan… (●´ω｀●) Plus she also comes with another optional part that matches up with the serious expression!

A diet plan!! (/ω＼) 

This pose is perfect to display together with the expression that was included with Nendoroid Honoka Kosaka: Training Outfit Ver.!

△ Honoka not looking forward to a diet!

The planner for the figure was Hamako, and she said the idea behind the expression parts was to allow you to display them not only alone, but also to bring out the atmosphere of the story and series by displaying them together with other characters! I’m sure we can expect more exciting expressions to come with the upcoming girls too!!

You can also have her watching you!! 

“Ooh Chocolate! I love this chocolate!!!!”

“Umi-chan… is… watching!!”

You simply need to place her somewhere you can always see her, and then every time you’re about to enjoy some fattening snacks you’ll remember you’re being watched! Perhaps with Umi-chan by my side I can finally succeed in my own diet…! (ﾉ)・ω・(ヾ)

Plus just like Honoka before her, she comes with holding hand parts that are designed for use with the original Nendoroid series! ♪

I like to add mayonnaise to hiyashi chuuka! Whenever I buy some from a convenience store I’m always depressed that only mustard is included!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at the upcoming WonFes figures!

Today I’ll be focusing on…

Nendoroid Co-de: Cinderella Girls Rin/Uzuki/Mio Set – My First Star Co-de!

From the popular anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a set of three Nendoroid Co-de figures featuring the New Generation girls!They are wearing the outfits from the opening theme and last episode of the anime series – the ‘My First Star’ outfits. The matching outfits have each been carefully sculpted to include even the smallest of changes between them, creating a lovely matching set of the three to display together!

The Cinderella Girls are joining the Nendoroid Co-de series! ♥︎

Up until now we’ve only really seen Pripara in the Nendoroid Co-de series, but now we have the New Generation Girls joining as a set!!

They are all dressed up in matching ‘My First Star’ outfits, which while similar have various differences between them such as the accessory on their chests!

Let’s take a closer look at them each one-by-one! (●´ω｀●)

Each of the outfits are so very cute, and their unique hairstyles have all been faithfully recreated in Nendoroid size! (´□｀｡)

By the way! The packaging matches up with the previously released Nendoroid Co-de figures! They are in an open window blister pack like so! ♪

△ A three figure set makes it rather large though! ♪

The packaging is rather different from the standard Nendoroid packaging, so I decided to make a quick GIF of opening it up! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

The background of the packaging also forms the back panel which can be pulled out of the top of the blister pack which allows you to open up the packaging easily! (I have no idea if this is a good explanation…!)

This is how the packaging looks from the back!

As is written on the packaging, each of the figures in the Nendoroid Co-de series can be separated into four main parts – the head, upper body, lower body and shoes! Each of these parts can be swapped around with any other Nendoroid Co-de figures!

This means you can swap their poses around like this!

The arms and legs of Nendoroid Co-de figures are not articulated – they are locked into a specific pose! This means that even just swapping around the ‘Upper Body’ means that not only the accessories on the outfit change, but the entire pose as well! It allows for quite a different appearance! ♪

These Nendoroid Co-de can also of course swap parts around with any other characters in the Nendoroid Co-de series!

Idol outfits are always so adorable!!

The poses actually fit each of the girls personalities rather well too! ♥︎

Next up, let’s try dressing up the New Generation Girls in outfits from PriPara! This is what makes the Co-de series so special!!

 

Shibuya Rin x Magical Clown Co-de

I always wanted Shiburin to make this pose!! I’m so happy right now!!

Uzuki Shimamura x Cutie Ribbon Co-de

The pink of this Co-de suits Uzuki really nicely! The pointing pose together with the winking expression also make a nice combo! ★

Mio Honda x White Swan Co-de

You don’t often see Chanmio in a black and white outfit! It gives her a bit of a mature air! ♪

By the way, the crowns if the My First Star code can be removed! They attach by a plastic flap that fits between the hair parts!

If you don’t think the outfit needs the crown, you simply have to remove it!

△ I tried to explain with a drawing, but I think I failed…  _(:3｣∠)_

So, let’s try removing all the crowns…

Nendoroid Akira Oono

I love games but I’m absolutely terrible at them. I think there are only about three games that I’ve actually managed to complete…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Akira Oono!

From Rensuke Oshikiri’s manga series ‘High Score Girl’ comes a Nendoroid of the silent heroine, Akira Oono! She comes with three expression parts including a blank standard expression, an angry expression that works perfectly with the included punch effect parts as well as a cute face with an open mouth to pose her eating.

Optional parts include some candy as well as a fried squid for her to eat, as well as an arcade machine – all sorts of items that simply had to be included to recreate various popular scenes from the series. Enjoy some retro games with Akira Oono by your side!

Ooooooohhhhh!! (*´∀｀*) 

The beautiful, intelligent gamer with undeniable talent, Akira Oono is joining the Nendoroid series!

Those glaring eyes have been transformed into Nendoroid size without losing any of their charm! Plus she also comes with a lollipop to show how much she loves sweet things! ☆

Plus this part just had to be included…!

The console is included together with a chair part! (ﾉ｀・∀・)ﾉ

Plus she even comes with sitting parts which allow you to seat her at the console like so! ♡

The buttons and joysticks are also so intricately detailed!

The joystick is even planned to be slightly movable!

Akira Oono is normally a very silent, mature young lady… but when the time comes to be assertive she can be a lot stronger than she looks!

She comes with parts to show that side of her too!★

This expression is too cute!! (●´ω｀●) 

The way her mouth is all curvy in frustration is just amazing…!

The curvy mouth is actually sculpted as being curvy too! It’s not just paintwork! The punching effect parts are the kind that connect directly onto her arm parts to show off Akira’s quick attacks!

Anyway, it seems she is rather upset, so let’s give her something sweet to much on to calm her down…♥︎

Here she is holding a real-size lollipop!
(Rather large when compared to the included lollipop parts! (°Д°；≡°Д°；) )

She still looks a little angry though…
but when she does eat something, then…

She comes with a cute eating expression as well as some fried squid on a stick! ☆

The mouth is actually made slightly hollowed inward allowing you to pose things actually entering into her mouth! She really seems happy to be munching on something!

I get full on happiness simply watching cute girls enjoying tasty food! ε=(｡・д・｡)

I think she has gotten over her anger from earlier now!! (´□｀｡)

Akira might normally be a quite character, but it’s all that quietness that let’s her build up the tension for her fun times and gags with Haruo! Be sure to add her to your collection and create all sorts of high school girl situations!

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Harvest Moon Ver.

I’ve recently had an insatiable craving for candy floss. Candy floss goes hand-in-hand with Summer festivals here in Japan! I can’t wait to go enjoy some of the upcoming festivals!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Hatsune Miku: Harvest Moon Ver.♥︎

From the ‘Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku’ comes a Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku dressed up in outfit based on those seen at the Mid-Autumn Festival in China. The gentle colors and light, transparent feeling of the kimono and raiment create a very unique, elegant version of Miku for fans to enjoy.

She comes with three expressions including a calm smile, a slightly embarrassed smile as well as expression with closed eyes. Optional parts include a mooncake and a flute. A special background panel that brings out the atmosphere of moon viewing is also included, illustrated by the same artist that designed Miku’s outfit – the Chinese illustrator Rella. Be sure to gaze upon the beauty of the moon with this beautiful Miku by your side!

This item was announced and revealed as a fully painted prototype without notice at the recent HATSUNE MIKU EXPO in Shanghai held in China! We know fans around the world have also been waiting for her, and preorders from the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP are now just around the corner! * Orders from GOODSMILE Shanghai have already started.

Just take a look at how beautiful she looks from the front! ♪

She’s so… cute!!

Even the air around her seems to have a lighter, more beautiful feeling just by having her stand there!! My face just naturally turns into a smile while looking at her! The frills on the unique outfit design as well as her lovely hair accessories are very intricately detailed!! ♪

Let’s take a look how she looks from the back! (σ・∀・)σ

The lovely raiment floating above her shoulders makes use of clear parts for a light, gentle feeling! The outfit itself also makes use of painted clear parts that help recreate a softer, silkier look for her outfit! ♪

Also take note of her twintails! Both the tied up area at the top and the twist toward the bottom are lovely!

Such lovely curves!!

The tips of the hair also made into transparent parts preserving that lovely light and airy feeling! ★

The Nendoroid was based on this illustration! ☆ 

The illustration was done by the Chinese illustrator, Rella! ♡

The somewhat mysterious, yet gentle and friendly looking Miku-san is so very adorable! This project actually began as we wanted to create a Miku-san that could be associated with China for all her Chinese fans!!

Plus, as you may have noticed from the first photo on today’s blog… she also comes with this background panel based on the original illustration by Rella! <○><○> 

A special attachment part is also included to connect to the Nendoroid base allowing you to easily use it as a background for the figure… but there are also some other things you can try with it….

Things like… this!

Lay the background sheet on the ground!

This makes it look like Miku is instead looking at the moon’s reflection in some water! (*ﾟｰﾟ*)

Plus as she has a nice long skirt that reaches all the way down to her feet, she can easily be posed without the need for a stand at all! This makes taking photos so much easier!! ★

She also comes with a mooncake as an optional part! 

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family and friends to get together and look out at the moon while enjoying lovely sweets like this mooncake!

The mooncake also works amazingly with this expression part!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

A slightly embarrassed smile!

If the mooncake isn’t blocking it, this expression actually has a slightly opened up mouth, so just moving it away…

Makes for a rather different expression!

It’s almost like a completely different expression! (´□｀｡)

But she does also come with a third expression part…

This expression has a rather different feel to the innocent blushing expression! This one has a more mature, confident feel to it! It brings out her ‘beauty’ rather then her cute side.

Nendoroid Raiden: MGS2 Ver.

I can’t keep up with the constant changes in temperature… how am I supposed to choose what to wear in the morning?! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Raiden: MGS2 Ver.!

From METAL GEAR SOLID 2: SONS OF LIBERTY comes a Nendoroid of the main character of the Plant chapter, Raiden! His face almost too beautiful for a solider has been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size, looking cuter than ever before!

Optional parts include his hand gun and assault rifle, a cardboard box as well as a naked body allowing you to recreate various popular scenes from the game! A special expression drawn for the Nendoroid by Yoji Shinkawa, the game’s art director, is also included!

Just like the previously released Nendoroid Solid Snake, he has special articulation allowing him to bend forward, which allows you to pose him prone to recreate even more of your favorite scenes! Have Raiden infiltrate your collection, and enjoy the cuteness of the Nendoroid world merged with the amazing designs from the game!

RAAIIIDEN!!!

Following on from the previously released Nendoroid Solid Snake  comes yet another character from the Metal Gear Solid series – the silent soldier with a rather impressive body, Raiden is joining the Nendoroids!

His confident eyes have been faithfully Nendorofied down to the eyebrows!

It’s not just his face that has been beautifully sculpted though! His impressive body is also definitely worth the look! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Even over his suit you can see just how impressive that six pack is!

I also adore the shape of his left hand here!

The hand looks like it fits into the gloves perfectly, but at the same time they are so cute and puffy looking! By the way, even though this product does not have ‘Edition’ in its name… it’s actually fully articulated! Much more mobile than most Nendoroids!! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The chest area features special articulation that allows you to take various action poses, or just pose him with his chest out to match his confident gaze! The connections for the arms are also ball joints allowing them to be placed at any angle to match your pose… or even pose him holding the included assault rifle like so! ♪

△ This angle also shows the difference of the flow of his back and front hair!
It looks so smooth and flowing…! (/ω＼)

His elbows, knees and even hips can be moved around allowing for all the fun and inventive poses that we saw with Nendoroid Solid Snake!

Plus! This time around a very special expression part is being included!!

Illustrated by the game’s art director, Yoji Shinkawa himself!

Oooooooooohhh!! (´□｀｡)

Those eyes!! They’re too amazing!!

The figure’s planner, Enon-shi went to Shinkawa-san and asked if he would be willing to draw an expression… or even just eyes for the Nendoroid!

This is what came back in response…!

A big thank you to Shinkawa-san!! 

But that’s not all… he also comes with a sword for some close combat as well!

△ It’s so easy to take action poses with full articulation!

The sword is also designed to slip inside the scabbard on his back, allowing you to pose him like this instead! (●´ω｀●)

△ How can such a simple standing pose from the back look so epic…?

By the way, the scabbard parts attach to Raiden’s back where the stand normally connects, then the stand connects into the scabbard parts! Smart!

This keeps the scabbard firmly in place to make sure it doesn’t get in the way of any of your poses! φ(．． )

Anyway, this means that three weapons are included! ☆ 

・Hand Gun
・Assault Rifle
・Katana Sword

Simply pick the weapon that you think suits him best! ♪

However we’re still not done! There is still one other part I have to introduce!

Here we go!!

A Naked Body!!

Special parts that allow you to recreate the scene where he was captured as a prisoner in the game! (/ω＼)

This way you can enjoy his amazing body even closer than before!!

Even as a chibi Nendoroid body all the muscles on his body have been carefully sculpted!

You can even try this expression together with the body…

He- He’s so… manly!!

Also note that the dog tag around his neck has been faithfully included!

I do apologise… but note that his hands are not movable! ^^;

Definitely a part that will surely be of all sorts of fun for Nendoroid collectors… I’m sure it would be very fun to try out on some other characters too! (*´Д｀)=з

Just like Snake he also comes with a Nendoroid size cardboard box! ♥︎

Nendoroid Mako Mankanshoku: Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform Ver.

When I was in middle school my uniform was a blazer, so I’ve always been rather envious of cute sailor-type uniforms!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Mako Mankanshoku:
Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform Ver.

From the anime series ‘KILL la KILL’ comes a Nendoroid of Mako Mankanshoku wearing her Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform! Optional parts include a spiked bat and brass knuckles to display her in action scenes worthy of the Fight Club President!

Mako comes with three different expressions including her standard expression as well as two different crying expressions – one based on her tears from episode 7 and the other based on episode 24. Be sure to combine expressions and parts with the previously released Nendoroid Mako Mankanshoku for even more options!

Hyahoo!! Mako-chan!! (´□｀｡)

She is back again in Nendoroid size with all new expressions, optional parts and of course the amazing Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform! ♥︎

Her shining gold knuckle dusters engraved with ‘MAKO’, the dangerous looking spiked bat, school hat with a rebellious tear in the peak, black gakuran-jacket,  geta shoes and leaf in her mouth!! Everything about her is so perfect!

This Mako-chan from the amazing episode seven in the series, also seen in the final episode is the definite ‘combat’ version of Mako-chan! The very first sample arrived today at the offices, so I decided to do a review as soon as possible! (σ・∀・)σ

Starting with the box design!

The famous red text in the window has been included! ♪

The whole box also has a matte finish but their are certain lines all over the design that have a glossy look to recreate that KILL la KILL atmosphere even from the box!

This is how the blister pack looks! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

The waterfall parts at the bottom right definitely draw attention!

We’ll get back to those later… let’s start with a look at the main figure! ♪

The complete pose even with the peace signs held up high can be recreated in Nendoroid size! Special left and right hand parts are included for this! (´∀｀)

This is how she looks from the back!

The jacket has a kind of pointy feeling that looks rather cute from the back!  The shoulder area and bottom area of the jacket also features articulation allowing you to add various different nuances to your poses! ♪

Some of you might also remember that there were various weapons on the inside of the jacket…

They are faithfully included!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Various different weapons!

They all have been separately sculpted and all look rather imposing… although the Nendoroid size also gives them a slightly cute feel!

Let’s recreate the scene where Mako first appears in this uniform! Her opponent was none other than…

Ryuko-chan!! ( ；∀；)

I never expected that episode!!

I love series that have such unexpected turns! I’m a huge fan of Mako-chan and this episode really made her shine… those who haven’t seen the series yet really should!!!

Another very memorable scene from this episode… 

Mako-chaaaaan!! °・(ノД｀)・°・

The famous crying expression has somehow been transformed into Nendoroid form!! They are attached by slipping them through the joint of the head part!

The lovely transparent parts give a really convincing shiny and wobbly tear-like appearance that captures the KILL la KILL animation style so nicely!♪

I feel like going to rewatch the series right now!!

Anyway, let’s get back to the waterfall parts that were in the blister pack!

Looking at them alone is a little strange, but…

These are special effect parts to recreate ANOTHER famous crying scene from Mako!! This one from the final episode!! The episode seemed rather serious most of the way and then suddenly Mako goes and cries like this… I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry!! I wish I had a Gamagoori to pose together with her!!

These effect parts are designed to simply place against the eyes, so you can transform any Nendoroid into a waterfall crying character with ease! ( ・ㅂ・)و ̑̑

By the way, the crying expression without any tear effect parts attached also has a very unique look to it! Look how cute her puffed up cheeks look! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

I’m sure you could find various other uses for this expression beyond just a crying expression. It could be upset, or just show her overcome with emotion!! More than anything though it just shows how very adorable she is!! Not to mention how well her design works as a Nendoroid! φ(．． )

Ryuko-chan also decided to try on the uniform!
