Emilia (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Today’s date is 2/22! It’s always fun to see dates like this!! In Japan today is also cat day! (ฅ*•ω•*ฅ)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at this 1/7th scale figure…
Emilia!

From the anime series ‘Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-‘ comes a 1/7th scale figure of the half-elf heroine, Emilia! The figure is based on the cover illustration of the original collection of short stories, but has been tuned to match the design of Emilia from the anime series.

Her sleeves and hemming of her iconic outfit have been sculpted with a fluttering appearance to capture her in a pose with the wind blowing at her side to create a lovely dynamic display. Be sure to add the angelic Emilia-tan to your collection! EMT!

From Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- comes a 1/7th scale figure of the heroine, Emilia!! ☆

The pose of the figure is based on the cover illustration of the original collection of short stories, but has been tuned to match the design of Emilia from the anime series!!

The elegant look of her iconic white and purple outfit together with all of it’s frills and accessories have all been sculpted in beautiful detail! ♪

▲ The sleeves flowing out in the wind create a lovely light appearance! (・∀・)

The creases on her outfit have also been sculpted with great care, capturing that realistic look as if the clothes are actually being worn!!

If we take a look from a lower angle like above you get a nice look at the soft skin of her thighs that peek out through her outfit!!

Be sure to take a look from all sorts of angles if she joins your collection!

Although it is all covered up by her outfit, the curves from the back of her hips down along her bottom are a must see!!

Plus note the contrast between the elegant, ladylike body and her innocent eyes filled with youth and curiosity!!

Nendoroid Reisen Udongein Inaba (Touhou Project)

I can already feel the pollen starting to rise and my allergies starting to flare up… Spring is well on the way!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Reisen Udongein Inaba!

From the popular game series by Team Shanghai Alice, the “Touhou Project” comes a Nendoroid of the lunatic rabbit that escaped from the moon, Reisen Udongein Inaba! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, her iconic attacking expression with red eyes as well as a cute crying expression.

A selection of bullet parts to recreate her attacks from the game are also included, as well as alternate limp bunny ear parts to display her in her weakened form. Be sure to enjoy the lunatic rabbit in your collection!

The pleated skirt, blazer and tie and even the moon motif on her blazer have all been carefully converted into Nendoroid size!! Her lovely long purple hair has also been sculpted in lovely detail! ♪ (∩・∀・)∩

Nendoroid Arale Norimaki (Dr.SLUMP ARALE CHAN)

WonFes has come to an end… the next one is scheduled for the 29th July 2018!! Today I’m going to be taking a look at this figure that was at WonFes…
Nendoroid Arale Norimaki!

From the anime series “Dr.SLUMP ARALE CHAN” comes a Nendoroid of the android, Arale Norimaki! She comes with three face plates including a cute standard expression, a “Kiiin!” expression as well as a smiling expression.

Her hat with wing accessories is included, but can also be removed allowing for various different situations, and she can easily be placed in her iconic “Ncha!” and “Kiiiin” poses from the series!

Other optional parts include Poop-Boy on a stick, “Ncha! Cannon” effect parts as well as split piece of ground and a bottle of Robovitan A! All sorts of parts to enjoy the commemorative Nendoroid #900! Be sure to add her to your collection!

Arale-chan is the character that has been chosen to become the commemorative Nendoroid #900!!

Her vivid color scheme, iconic outfit and hat and overall cute appearance has all been captured in Nendoroid size so perfectly! She really suits the Nendoroid design, and also comes with a collection of optional parts to bring out the atmosphere of the series!

Nendoroid Nikkari Aoe (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

There are only two days left until WonFes?! We have more space for figure displays than ever before, so I hope everyone is looking forward to lots of lovely new announcements!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Nikkari Aoe!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a Nendoroid of Nikkari Aoe, a sword of the Aoe school just like Juzumaru Tsunetsugu.

He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a smiling expression based on the line “Come now, smile”. His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn and he also comes with two differently shaped haori coats allowing you to display him in various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection!

“Come now, smile.”

The wakizashi sword with a mysterious air, Nikkari Aoe, is joining the Touken Ranbu Nendoroid series! His romantic smile, the details of his outfit and his unique hairstyle have all been captured on the Nendoroid in lovely detail!!

The ponytail is connected with a joint allowing it to be moved to various different angles when posing! (っ’ω’)っ))

The white part of his outfit actually makes use of a semi-translucent material allowing you to just be able to make out some of the shapes on the other side!

▲ The white/light blue gradient looks lovely!

If we take a look at his hand holding the white cape you’ll notice that his super-short gloves have also been preserved on the Nendoroid design! ♪

Just like the preciously released scale figure you get a little peek at his skin between the glove and his outfit! (You cans see my review of the scale figure here!)

Along with the mysterious smile above as his standard expression, he also comes with two alternate face plates to choose from! ε-(o´ω｀o)

First up we have his combat expression!

Those sharp eyes and open mouth… ideal for battle orientated scenes!

▲ Using the movable ponytail you can create more dynamic poses! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Personally I love looking at him from this angle!

The slightly higher angle seems to bring out his beauty more!!

The fact that you can see the ponytail and the white part of his outfit also adds bonus points!

Plus as I’m sure you have noticed, while he comes with parts to cover up his left shoulder and arm to recreate his standard pose, his arm can also revealed for all sorts of original poses as well!

In addition, the white cape part can also be completely removed! ★

the white part have also of course been fully detailed!

His third face plate is a smiling expression!

He looks so very cheerful with the combination of this face plate and the Nendoroid size! I can just imagine him saying “Come now, smile”!

The contrast between this face plate and the combat face plate is rather impressive!

Piyokuru: Fate/Grand Order 01

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope everyone got lots of flowers and chocolate today! Personally I prefer bitter chocolate to milk chocolate!!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a new series of capsule toys developed by Good Smile Company!! ★

Piyokuru: Fate/Grand Order 01!

The characters from Fate/Grand Order are the very first characters to be released in the new capsule toy series, Piyokuru! There are a total of six different characters to collect including Saber/Altria Pendragon, Shielder/Mash, Caster/Cu Chulainn, Main Character (Male), Main Character (Female) as well as Romani Archaman.

The little eggs are designed to open up using a mechanism which requires just one quick touch in order to open up! The cute little toys can be displayed beside you and opened and closed for fun, and each also comes with a ball-chain which allows it to be attached to various items allowing you to bring your favorite character with you wherever you like! Be sure to collect them all!

Let’s start with a quick explanation of what the Piyokuru series is! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

The Piyokuru series makes use of a one-touch mechanism and multiple springs to quickly hatch a character out of their shell!

Each of the characters inside the shell have been carefully detailed to capture all of their more intricate characteristics have been carefully captured on the inner designs and the quick and easy opening and closing of the eggs is a very simple yet fun gimmick!

When you push the front, the inner character actually spins around at an incredibly fast speed that you can hardly see! ♪

Tori Bird also takes a look at the series on his latest YouTube video – this should give you an even better feel for the way they open up!

Nendoroid Toru Oikawa: School Uniform Ver. (Haikyu!!)

Tomorrow is Valentine’s day! I will use it as an excuse to indulge in lots of chocolate!! *nom* ( ‘༥’ ) *nom*

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Toru Oikawa: School Uniform Ver. !

From the popular manga series “Haikyu!!” comes a Nendoroid of Toru Oikawa dressed up in his school uniform! He comes with two face plates including a winking expression as well as an expression pulling hid eyelid down and sticking out his tongue to recreate the gesture he showed to Kageyama in his junior high years. He also comes with some milk bread allowing you to display him in more everyday scenes together with his favorite food!

The Nendoroid also includes a round base with a volleyball pattern as well as a background sheet based on the Chindouchuu ramen shop that the Aobajohsai High School Volley Ball team often visited. Be sure to display him together with the previously announced Nendoroid Shoyo Hinata: Jersey Ver. and Nendoroid Tobio Kageyama: Jersey Ver.!

The “Grand King” rejoins the Nendoroids dressed I his school uniform!

The “Grand King”of Aobajohsai High is joining the Nendoroids once again, this time dressed up in his school uniform instead of his volleyball outfit!

▲ Even the pattern on his pants has been captured! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

This time around the Nendoroid comes with two different face plates! The first of which is the playful winking expression which is used in the above photos!

In his hands, he holds…

Oikawa’s favorite food, Milk Bread! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Filled with cream… it looks so delicious!!

Moving onto his second face plate, we have an expression pulling hid eyelid down and sticking out his tongue to recreate the gesture he showed to Kageyama in his junior high years!! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

“Idiot! Idiot!!”

This allows you to capture the more childish side of his personality in adorable Nendoroid size!

The tongue sticking out of the expression has been sculpted to really stand out, and has rather impressive detail for a Nendoroid face plate! I’m sure it can be used to create all sorts of interesting situations in Nendoroid size! (´□｀｡)

Also take note of the special base!

He comes with a special base with a volleyball-like design featuring the color’s of Aobajohsai High School!

In addition, you can also of course make use of the face plate and other parts from Nendoroid Toru Oikawa together with this Nendoroid for even more posing options! For example…

Nendoroid Rider of “Black” (Fate/Apocrypha)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Rider of “Black”!

From the anime series “Fate/Apocrypha” comes a Nendoroid of the servant from the Black Faction, Rider of Black! He comes with three face plates including a smiling expression, a playful winking expression as well as a blushing expression.

Optional parts include his lance “Trap of Argalia”, his hunting horn “La Black Luna” as well as the sword that he gave to Sieg, the main character of the series. The sword is included in both a sheathed and drawn version for all sorts of posing opportunities! Be sure to add the cheerful and innocent knight to your Nendoroid collection!

From Fate/Apocrypha comes a Nendoroid of servant summoned by Celenike, Nendoroid Rider of “Black”! Just look at that lovely innocent smile on his face!!!

The sword at his hips can also be drawn!

▲ Together with a special hand for holding the sword you can easily pose him in combat scenes!

Along with the smiling face above, he also comes with a playful winking expression! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Along with the winking expression he also has a hand part making a peace sign which can be used together to create a cute pose as if posing for the camera! ♡

Moving on to his third face plate, we have an embarrassed expression!

In his hand he holds the hunting horn La Black Luna! Plus as you may have noticed, his cape can also be removed! ♪

If we look a little closer you can see the eyebrows are placed with a bit of a furrowed look, giving him a bit of a worried appearance.

The expression allows for all sorts of different situations!

Along with the horn, he also comes with the lance “Trap of Argalia”!

Nendoroid Kino & Hermes (Kino’s Journey)

Hello everyone!! Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I first found out about Kino’s Journey back when I was in my third or fourth year of primary school! I even bought a coat similar to Kino’s as I loved her so much, but I have no idea what happened to it…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Kino & Hermes!

From the anime series “Kino’s Journey” comes a Nendoroid of Kino, the main character who travels the world with her talking motorcycle Hermes! She comes with both a standard face plate as well as a smiling face plate, and her large helmet complete with goggles can also be attached and removed allowing for various different situations.

Hermes is also included with the Nendoroid and Kino can even be displayed riding the faithful motorbike! Other optional parts include a variety of weapons she used in the series including Canon, Woodsman and Flute, and she also comes with a cup to display her taking a little break along her travels!

From the anime series Kino’s Journey -the Beautiful World- the Animated Series, comes a Nendoroid of Kino together with her talking motorcycle, Hermes!! ★

Her large eyes and tough looking expression have been carefully included on the Nendoroid design and the details of her outfit and even the pacemaker pistol “Canon” she holds in hand are all so intricately ! (∩・∀・)∩

The “Woodsman” persuader pistol is also included on her hips as you can see above, and it can even be detached and held in her other hand for all sorts of posing opportunities!

▲ She can even be posed dual wielding the pistols!

But that’s not all! Flute is also included!! (｡・д・｡)

The arm parts are articulated at the elbows and upper arms allowing for much easier posing with the various guns.

Along with her standard serious expression, she also comes with a smiling expression for much more gentle looking scenes!

A cup filled with delicious tea is also included allowing her to stop off on the side of the road for a quick tea break! The expression looks so very relaxed! ♥

Plus we can’t forget that Kino’s talking motorrad with vast knowledge of the world is also included to display with Kino herself! (*´꒳`*)

The 1/8th Scale Kino: Refined Ver.!

Good Smile Company originally released this 1/8th scale figure of Kino back in 2008, but with the anime series on the way we have revised the old sculpt and created this “Refined Ver.” for both new and old fans to enjoy in their collection!

Kino is the main character of Kino’s Journey, a story about a girl who travels the world with her talking motorcycle Hermes. The figure features Kino holding her favorite persuader gun named “Canon” with gentle sculptwork that captures the atmosphere of the series perfectly. Smoke made with semi-transparent parts wafts out from the gun’s muzzle, creating an intricately detailed figure that fans are sure to enjoy in their collection.

Nendoroid Yumeko Jabami (Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Yumeko Jabami!★

From the anime series “Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler” comes a Nendoroid of the girl who like to take risks, Yumeko Jabami! She comes with three face plates including her standard expression, an ecstatic expression for when she is gambling as well as a coercing expression for when she needs to make some one pay up.

Optional parts include some playing cards, a livestock plate as well as a stack of money allowing for all sorts of different situations in the gambling world! Be sure to add the expressive Yumeko to your collection!

“Let’s gamble till we go mad!”

From the anime series that already has a second season on the way, “Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler” comes a Nendoroid of the main character and compulsive gambler, Yumeko Jabami! ♪

Her beautiful long black hair has lighter paintwork on the inside and darker on the outside, and the iconic way that the back of her long hair curls around has also been faithfully captured on the Nendoroid design!

The hounds-tooth pattern of her skirt and all the other details of the Hyakkaou Private Academy uniform have been intricately detailed!

▲ Her large bosom has also been included on the Nendoroid!

Optional parts include the playing cards you can see above, as well as a stack of money which you can see below! ☆

These parts are great for gambling scenes, but could also be used for all sorts of other situations as well!! Along with these parts she also comes with alternate face plates!

Her standard face plate is the one seen above, and features a gentle smiling expression, but let’s move on to her more… expressive face plates!

She also comes with kitty hands to place her in this memorable pose from the series! (´□｀｡)

The iconic thick look of her lips have been captured with additional sculptwork to bring out the look as faithfully as possible in Nendoroid size!

The “livestock plate” she has dangling from her neck is attached with a chain that allows her to hold it out like so! ♥

Once again the lips are amazing, but even more amazing with this expression are the wrinkles that form around her mouth from the expression!! It’s certainly one of the more unique Nendoroid face plates to be made!

Nendoroid Haruna Kai-II (Kantai Collection -KanColle-)

Tomorrow is Setsubun, the day before the beginning of spring! Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Haruna Kai-II!

From the popular browser game “Kantai Collection -KanColle-” comes a Nendoroid of the upgraded version of the third Kongo-class battleship, Haruna Kai-II! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a combat expression as well as a smiling expression. Optional parts include the usual turret firing effect parts as well as a bottle of champagne to celebrate over Christmas!

The ship parts also feature a large number of articulated points, allowing for all sorts of different posing options. The dazzle camouflage on her turrets has also been faithfully included on the Nendoroid design. In addition, she includes parts to display her in her summer swimsuit outfit for a quick change of atmosphere allowing for even more display options! Be sure to add the upgraded version of Haruna to your fleet!

“Nendoroid Haruna, heading out in full force!”

The upgraded version of the third Kongo-class battleship, Haruna Kai-II is joining the KanColle Nendoroid fleet!! Her iconic golden ribbon on her chest, the lovely red and white outfit as well as the dazzle camouflage on her turrets have all been captured on the Nendoroid design!! ♪

The ship parts once again feature all sorts of articulated parts allowing for all sorts of different posing opportunities! (∩・∀・)∩

Certain parts can slide out…

The side armor can be deployed outward…

Plus the turrets can of course all be moved around! The parts are really so much fun to play around with!! ε-(o´ω｀o)

Speaking of articulation, Haruna also features joints here!

The back of her hair!!

This allows you to easily create more dynamic poses with the wind blowing through her hair as if she were sailing out on the open seas!

Anyway, let’s move on to her alternate face plates! The face plate I used above is her standard expression, but she also comes with a confident shouting expression perfect for combat scenes!

“I won’t let you do whatever you like!”

This expression can be used with the included turret firing effect parts in order to create a powerful attacking pose!! ( ´>ω<`)

Then we have her third face plate…

A gentle smiling expression! ♥

I can just imagine her gentle voice talking to me when I look into those cute eyes! She also comes with a bottle of champagne based on her special line during Christmas!!
