Eriri Spencer Sawamura (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend)

Today I’m going to take a look at this 1/7th scale figure that went up for preorder earlier today…
Eriri Spencer Sawamura!★

From “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend” comes a 1/7th scale figure of the popular doujinshi artist, Eriri Spencer Sawamura! The figure is based on the jacket illustration of the first season Blu-ray box, and has been sculpted and painted with a unique touch in order to capture the look and feel of Kurehito Misaki’s illustration in figure form.

The highly dynamic pose of the figure make it look ready to jump to life, and her doujinshi and other items that represent her character are placed all around her creating an exciting composition with all sorts of things to see! The doujinshi sketches that were mostly covered up on the original illustration are faithfully included and are even readable on the figure! Be sure to take a close look once she joins your collection!

The way her twin-tails are fluttering around together with the unique posing makes for such a lovely dynamic pose that really catches the eye! Just look at the way her skirt is moving too!! (´□｀｡)

▲ The details from the back are also amazing!

The slightly see-through look of her socks as they stretch along her legs also looks fantastic! (｀・д´・；)

The difference in texture between the socks and shoes that comes out in the paintwork is also lovely! ♪

The detailed sculpt and paintwork is one thing, but the composition of the pose and the way it has been transformed into a figure makes it look fantastic no matter what angle you choose to look from!ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

The figure is based on the illustration for the 2nd volume of the first season’s Blu-ray jacket!

But perhaps the thing that most people are wondering about are the papers that are all floating around the figure! Doujinshi manuscripts!

I’m hoping this blog won’t be flagged as NSFW due to these images, but here is a bit of a close-up of Eriri’s doujinshi!! You can see the amount of detail that is included on them… it’s like you get a free doujinshi to read together with the figure! (/ω・＼)

The piece of paper on the left that was blank on the original illustration has been worked on and now has some rough sketches!! Be sure to take a closer look once she joins your collections! (っ’ω’)っ))

The eyes have been kept very faithful to Kurehito Misaki’s original illustration! Plus just look at that cute moe fang!! ♥

Finally, a certain point of the figure that really caught my attention…

The way the elastics in her socks are pressing down on her skin!! The line that separates the socks from her thighs has been sculpted so perfectly!! The artisans at Max Factory really are amazing at their work!

Kino: Refined Ver. (Kino’s Journey)

The year is coming to an end but we still have many new items coming up this December! Starting off with this one up for preorder tomorrow, the 1/8th scale…
Kino: Refined Ver.!

Good Smile Company originally released this 1/8th scale figure of Kino back in 2008, but with the anime series on the way we have revised the old sculpt and created this “Refined Ver.” for both new and old fans to enjoy in their collection!

Kino is the main character of Kino’s Journey, a story about a girl who travels the world with her talking motorcycle Hermes. The figure features Kino holding her favorite persuader gun named “Canon” with gentle sculptwork that captures the atmosphere of the series perfectly. Smoke made with semi-transparent parts wafts out from the gun’s muzzle, creating an intricately detailed figure that fans are sure to enjoy in their collection.

“That’s why… I can’t stop my journey.”

The character that travels around the world with her talking motorcycle Hermes and never stays in the same country for more than three days – Kino as a 1/8th scale figure! Her neat shirt and jacket as well as the details belt and pouches have all been captured in lovely detail! (●‘∀‘●)ﾉ”

The creases and shadows all over her outfit really bring the figure to life!

She might look a little defenseless at first glance, but that twist her in hips and the gun in her hands certainly say otherwise!! Plus just look at the lovely curves around her hips!!

Her neat hair and calm facial expression have also been captured for fans to enjoy by their side whenever they please! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

As you may have read in the product description or guessed from the name, this is in fact a refined version of a Kino figure that was actually released back in 2008!

The sculpt and paintwork have both been brushed-up, and considerably more detail has been added to the figure!

The pouches around her hips are a perfect example, featuring much more detail that make them look much more realistic than on the previous version!

▲ Her weapon of choice, the persuader “Canon” is held in hand,
with a detailed holster on her side as well!

Also take note of the smoke curling out from the barrel of the gun! ♪

▲ The translucent parts, paintwork and sculpt all give the
feeling of the smoke wafting away in the wind!

Plus, take a close look at the base!

The grass on the side, the soft looking sand and the motorbike trail left by Hermes! The various textures are such a pleasure to look at!

A figure overflowing with the atmosphere of the series!♪

Nendoroid Hizamaru (Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-)

Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the live broadcast!
Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Hizamaru!

From the popular browser and smartphone game “Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-” comes a Nendoroid of Hizamaru, one of the prized swords of the Minamoto family just like his brother Higekiri.

He comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a combat expression as well as a face trying to hold back his tears, based on the line “Higekiri forgot my name again. No, I’m not crying! I’m not!!”. His sword can be displayed both sheathed or drawn allowing you to display him in various different situations. Be sure to add him to your collection!

 “Higekiri?! Where is he…?”

Following on from his older brother the next prized sword of the Minamoto family is also becoming a Nendoroid!! That elegant yet always ready for battle look that Hizamaru has looks wonderful even in Nendoroid size! His rather unique hairstyle has also looks great in chibi form!

From the front it has a very smooth and silky look, but from the back there are a lot more spiky bits for a bit more of an unkempt look!

By the way, let’s take a closer look at the front of his hair… (∩・∀・)∩

The front part of his hair actually makes use of a slightly transparent part which allows you to make out the shape of his eye behind the hair!! This is the same effect that was used on the previously announced scale figure!

Unlike the illustration it isn’t quite transparent enough to completely see the eye as that would look rather strange in three dimensions, but it has been tuned to capture the look as close as possible!

His sword can be unsheathed which together with the serious looking standard expression allows for some cool and composed battle scenes! The fact that one eye is covered up actually makes him look very different depending on the angle you choose to look from! ★

Moving onto his second face plate, we have a combat expression! ♪

Those adorable teeth you can see in his mouth on this face!!

This expression combines the cute Nendoroid look and the combat feel so perfectly!! Additionally, just like his brother he also comes with parts to display him just about to draw his sword!

This expression works great with the drawing of his sword! From this angle you also get just a  peek at his tooth!!

For his third face plate, we have a “I’m not crying” face plate!

“Higekiri forgot my name again. No, I’m not crying! I’m not!!”

Just look at that little tear about to drop from his eye!! He is still trying so hard to keep his cool demeanor together though!!

Of course he looks great alone, but posing him together with his brother allows for even more amazing poses that show off the relationship between the swords of the Minomoto family! ε-(o´ω｀o)

▲ I can see all sorts of stories coming out from these two!!

Nendoroid Japanese Crested Ibis (Kemono Friends)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Japanese Crested Ibis!

From the popular anime series “Kemono Friends” comes a Nendoroid of the friend who loves to sing – the Japanese Crested Ibis! She comes with three face plates including a standard smiling face, a singing face as well as a shocked expression for when Lucky Beast told her she had a guttural voice.

Optional parts include musical note effect parts, a Japariman as well as a cup of tea with some tea which is good for the throat! She also comes with a special hand part for and Japariman for the separately sold Nendoroid Kaban which allows you to display the two of them enjoying Japariman together! Be sure to display her together with the other Nendoroid friends from the series!

“I am~♪ the Crested Ibis~! ♪”

From “Kemono Friends” comes a Nendoroid of the friend with a unique voice who is always singing – the Japanese Crested Ibis!! The bold gradient of her hair, the fluffy collar around her neck and the feathers in her hair have all been captured in lovely detail!

▲ The fluffy looking tail is also adorable!!

She comes with a teacup filled with tea that is great for the throat, which is great for displaying her together with Nendoroid Alpaca Suri! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Plus…

She also comes with a Japariman to recreate the pillar scene from the series! A Japariman for herself, as well as a Japariman for Kaban-chan with hands to hold it are all included, so be sure to display her together with Nendoroid Kaban! ヽ(ﾟ∀ﾟヽ 三 ﾉﾟ∀ﾟ)ﾉ

Anyway, moving onto her face plates! Of course we have the standard smiling expression that was used in all the photos above, but she also comes with a singing expression to display her enjoying singing a song for everyone!

A musical note effect part is also included to bring out her song even more!!

 A shocked expression for when Lucky Beast told her she had a guttural voice! (廿д廿)

Nendoroid Zero (Mega Man X)

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Zero!

From the popular game “Mega Man X” series comes a Nendoroid of the Maverick Hunter, Zero! He comes with two face plates including a calm and composed standard expression as well as a shouting expression for combat scenes. Optional parts include his Zero Buster as well as his iconic Z-Saber weapon with two different blade parts allowing for various different situations.

His legs are also specially articulated allowing you to pose him in the dashing pose and jumping poses! Be sure to add him to your collection and recreate your favorite scenes from the game in adorable Nendoroid size!

The strongest of the Maverick Hunters

From Mega Man X comes a Nendoroid of Zero!! His unique appearance has been captured in lovely detail even when shrunk down to Nendoroid size, and just looking at him makes the Zero theme play through your head!! The lovely blend of white and red armor also features a glossy paint in order to bring out that metallic texture!

His iconic hairstyle has also been preserved in Nendoroid size, with the connecting point attached with a ball joint allowing it to be moved around to match all sorts all action poses! ε-(o´ω｀o)

Optional parts include his Z-Saber with A Effect parts which you can see above, as well as his Zero Buster! (っ’ω’)っ))

The shape and details have all been captured in careful detail, and the metallic shine is slightly different from the rest of his armor giving it a slightly different texture! ☆

He also comes with two different face plates – the first his cool and confident standard expression, but he also comes with a powerful looking shouting expression more suited to combat scenes! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

This expression instantly makes for a more tense pose!

He also comes with an alternate left hand part which can be posed as above to create the really epic pose you see above! Recreate all sorts of your favorite scenes as well as original scenes with the Nendoroid! ★

▲ The little teeth on this expression are so cute!

In addition, he also comes with a Effect B for the Z-Saber to display him slashing downward instead! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

This part suits the combat expression perfectly! Note that the hilt of the Z-Saber is used with both parts, so you only switch out the blade part! ♪

As a side note, the unique designs underneath his feet have also been captured on the Nendoroid! He looks amazing even in sitting poses like this!

Eriri Spencer Sawamura: Bunny Ver.!

From the anime series “Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend” comes a 1/4th scale figure of the up-and-coming doujin illustrator, Eriri Spencer Sawamura, dressed up in a sexy bunny girl outfit! The figure captures all of Eriri’s charm in an impressive 1/4th scale, ensuring all the details illustrated by the original character designer Kurehito Misaki have been faithfully preserved on the figure.

She has an embarrassed expression on her face that captures her tsundere personality perfectly for fans to enjoy by their side! Both Utaha Kasumigaoka and Megumi Kato have also been announced in the B-style bunny girl figure series, so be sure to display all the Saekano bunny girls together!

All three starting female members of blessing software are altogether in beautiful bunny outfits! Eriri is wearing a sexy red outfit and high heels that all have a smooth and shiny paint job which brings out the texture nicely!

The figure is 1/4th scale making it a very impressive size for any collection, and as fans of FREEing’s bunny girl series have come to know, she also comes with net tights made from real fabric for an amazingly authentic appearance!

Even the back seam of the tights has been faithfully included on these figures!! The attention to detail for these net tights has always amazed me! Plus from this angle you can see how she is adjusting the bunny suit!

Just look at the sexy twist in her hips… and that belly button!

You really get a good feel for just how tight that bunny girl outfit is! Even though her bust is a little smaller than the other two, with a tight outfit like this even Eriri has more than enough to look sexy!! The curves from her bottom down to her thighs are perfect! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

Also take a look at the cute pose with her mouth slightly open!

All the finer details of her body have also been faithfully captured! Those lovely twin-tails and the hand close to her chest…

Nendoroid Beatrice (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Today’s Main Feature!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…
Nendoroid Beatrice!★

From the anime series “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” comes a Nendoroid of the Roswaal mansion’s librarian, Beatrice! Her iconic hairstyle, outfit and eyes have all been converted into cute Nendoroid size!

She comes with three face plates including a grumpy looking standard expression, an angry expression as well as the smiling expression she would often have with Pack around. Optional parts include Pack, a library stepladder as well as a couple of books. She can also be posed sitting on the stepladder, allowing for all sorts of different scenes in Nendoroid size!

From the anime series that has an additional episode currently in production, “Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-” comes a Nendoroid of Beatrice! ★

Her cute hairstyle with slightly light pink gradient towards the tips,  and the frills and ribbons all over her outfit have been sculpted in lovely detail! The unique design of her eyes has also been shrunk down to Nendoroid size!

Plus she also comes with special parts that allow her to display her sitting down on the library stepladder, which is also included to display with her!ヽ(*´∀｀)ノ

All of the book parts are also included, and none of them are connected together so you can choose to place them in all sorts of different ways! If you look quite close at the stepladder you’ll notice the lovely detail that went into it as well!!

Of course she also comes with a standard upper body and skirt part to display her standing as usual, and she also comes with folded arms to capture that cute personality perfectly! ((´д`●))三((●´д`))

As you can see from the pose above, her twin-tails are fitted with special joints midway which allow you to spin them around allowing for various different nuances! (っ’ω’)っ))

Anyway, let’s move on to her second face plate, which is…
An angry expression!★

Those angry tight-looking eyebrows and the drop-shaped mouth all capture what make angry Beatrice so adorable! You can just imagine her high-pitched voice while looking at this photo! ε-(o´ω｀o)

If you pose the twin-tails swirling around together with the angry expression it brings out the angry look even more!! ٩(๑`^´๑)۶

Moving on to her third face plate…

An adorable smiling expression that she would often have with Pack!♥

The stark contrast of this innocent and childlike smile compared with her other face plates really is quite enjoyable, and yet they all faithfully capture a part of her personality! If you cover up the mouth with a book or something else, it also gives another slightly different feel of amazement!

Nendoroid Lotte Yanson (Little Witch Academia)

I like pretty much any character that wears glasses! As soon as they have glasses they jump onto my like list!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at one such character…
Nendoroid Lotte Yanson!☆

From the anime series “Little Witch Academia” comes a Nendoroid of Akko’s roommate, the honest and gentle young witch, Lotte Yanson! She comes with two face plates including a smiling expression as well as a troubled expression.

Her trademark glasses are included with three different lenses – one looking straight ahead, one looking to the side and one with sparkling eyes! These can all be used on either expression allowing for all sorts of different combinations when posing!

Optional parts include her magic wand, her favorite “Night Fall” book as well as a fairy, lantern and crystal ball! Be sure to display her with Nendoroid Atsuko Kagari and Nendoroid Sucy Manbavaran! (sold separately)

From Little Witch Academia comes a Nendoroid of the gentle glasses wearing Lotte Yanson!! Her Luna Nova Magical Academy uniform as well as her frizzy hair, glasses and magical wand are all faithfully captured in adorable chibi size! ♪

She comes with two face plates including the smiling face you see above, as well as this troubled expression that suits her personality so perfectly!

In her hand she is holding a skull-shaped lantern which also has a little fairy seated inside! ♪

I’ve only been fishing twice in my life!! The first time I went fishing for ayu, the second time… for crocodiles! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Lana!

“Let the trial begin!”

From the popular “Pokémon” game series comes a Nendoroid of the Brooklet Hill Trial Captain, Lana! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, her iconic smile with closed eyes as well as a blushing, embarrassed expression.

The Nendoroid comes with a selection of optional parts including a fishing rod, a net ball, an adorable Wishiwashi as well as a plastic sheet featuring Wishiwashi’s School Form! You can even display her in her iconic Z-Move pose! A Nendoroid that any Swimmer trainers will be proud to own – be sure to add her to your collection!
