figFIX Shimakaze: Half-Damage ver.

I still haven’t had Tsukimi dango or Tsukimi sake… (´・ω・｀)I think I’ll have own little moon-viewing party sometime!
Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s…
figFIX Shimakaze: Half-Damage ver.!

 
The very first in the fixFIX series of figma-sized statue figures comes Shimakaze from Kantai Collection -KanColle- in her half-damage version!
Her ripped clothes an knee socks all preserved in detail and three damaged Rensouhou-chans are also included to display beside her!Be sure to display her alongside her figma counterpart, or with other figma figures in the KanColle series!

Zekamashi-chaaaan! ［╹△╹。］
The half damaged version of Zekamashi-chan is the very first to join Max Factory’s new figFIX series!

But what exactly is the figFIX series?

Let me explain that quickly! (｀・ω・´)


What is figFIX?

The figma series was created under the concept of articulated figures that still looked great. The figFIX series is a new collectible series of figures that is a spin-off of the figma series – a series that removed the articulated aspect of figmas but instead places them in great fixed poses!

The figFIX series of figures is the same size as figmas (around 1/12th scale) so they can easily be displayed together, but they are fixed in a specific and well-known pose of each character, allowing for a more faithful representation as well as a very reasonable price! The series allows the skilled craftsmen of Max Factory to put their skills to work on more delicate sculpting and paintwork for fans to enjoy!

The head part of figFIX figures makes use of the same joint as the figma series, allowing for some interesting display possibilities for fans to play around with as well!

To summarize…
It’s a new series of scale figures from Max Factory that are the same size as figmas!
The first of which is this…

Which also comes with three Rensouhou-chans! ♪

Let’s take a closer look at each of them! ♪
– Rensouhou-chan (Large) –

Clearly in despair at Zekamashi-chan’s defeat!

– Rensouhou-chan (Medium) –

His expression filled with satisfaction!

– Rensouhou-chan (Small) –

Posed as if jumping through the air!
Each of them are held in place with props that attach to Zekamashi-chan’s base!

They’re all so adorable!
Each of their necks are also slightly turnable allowing you to change the nuance ever so slightly! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Now let’s take a look at Zekamashi-chan herself! ♪

Everything down to the rips in her knee-high stockings, snapped panty string and anchor are all faithfully included!

The torn up ribbon in her hair and mini-shirt falling down her hips also look amazing!

Everything about her looks amazing!! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

What joints there are are made completely invisible, so it really is just like a smaller scale figure! The arms and legs look great, and the bare skin looks so touchable! ♥
Not to mention the incredible expression!

It’s lovely!! ヾ(｡´Д｀｡)ﾉ
I can just hear her voice saying “Noo…! I didn’t think I’d ever get hit…!” when I see her looking down at me!
Let’s take a look from behind!

Oooooohhhh!!（*´▽｀*）

Just look at the curves on that bottom!
That’s not to say figma Shimakaze didn’t have a lovely bottom, but the removal of any need for joints definitely allows for a much sexier look!

Speaking of sexy… this area is hard to ignore! ＜◯＞＜◯＞!!!

So…very…CLOSE!


This kind of design really makes you want to go for those low angles… it seems like you might just be able to see more if you do!

figFix shares the same design for expressions with the figma series, so the real new thing about them is of course the body! As you can see – the detail on the body is intricate down to each little nook and cranny! This photo was perhaps a little too focused on her lovely chest that her belly button is really out of focus, but on the actual figure you an see it nice and clearly!

All the details that were difficult to keep together with figma joints have been included!

Houki Shinonono: Kitsune Miko Ver.

I’ve always loved miko priestess outfits! I still regret not working part-time as a miko while I was living in Kyoto! Anyway, today I’ll be taking a look at FREEing’s…

Houki Shinonono: Kitsune Miko Ver.
 

 

From the popular anime series IS (Infinite Stratos) comes a figure of Houki Shinonono, Ichika’s first childhood friend and main heroine of the series! She is dressed up in a Miko priestess outfit with lovely vibrant red color, and she is also wearing fox ears and a tail! She has a bit of an embarrassed expression on her face which only brings out her charm even more.
The figure is an impressive 1/4th scale and matches up perfectly with the other characters from the same series – be sure to display them all together and recreate your very own Infinite Stratos harem!

Miko Priestess Outfit!! （*´▽｀*）

That’s not all! It’s the complete outfit from the episode ‘Lovely Style’, which also featured fox ears and a tail! She’s finally here to join all the others in their similar outfits!

The embarrassed expression is lovely!! ♡

Plus don’t forget that this series is a huge 1/4th scale!!
Even from the side she has an amazing presence! (； ･`ω･´)

Her twisted hips, long legs wearing geta sandals, large ribbon on her front and even the double pony-tail have all been sculpted beautifully! (｀・ω・´)

The way the front is opened up also suits Houki-chan perfectly!

She is so very cute and sexy! ♡

The opening shows off Houki’s magnificent female form!

The sculpting of her outfit also really makes it look like real fabric, and the shading done to create shadows on the outfit looks incredibly convincing! <◯><◯>

The frilly white ends of the skirt also look lovely! ♪

Anyway, let’s move over to the back!

As you can see, her beautiful long double ponytails reach all the way down to the ground!

The way she is wearing the outfit also means her back is quite revealed up at the top, showing off her shoulder blades! Not to mention that even from this angle you can see the top of her impressive bust!

Delicious!! But let’s move on and take a look at her cute expression!

A slightly embarrassed smile and super fluffy looking fox ears! ☆

The large bell on the collar around her neck matches the rest of the outfit nicely!

Plus the unique bends of her legs allow for one of those angles that just doesn’t let you see deeper into the skirt! ( -ﾉｪ-)
Even though they’re mostly covered, even her delicate fingers have been carefully sculpted!

The cute little painted nails are just peeking out the sleeves!

And if you look from the underside…

The standby form of Akatsubaki is worn on her wrist! ε=(｡・д・｡)

If she was just on display normally you’d probably never notice… but even the details of covered up items are nice and detailed! ♪

You can really see FREEing’s love for Infinite Stratos!♥

Once again… I have to show off her back!

I want to run up behind her and feel her fluffy tail!!

A long fluffy tail, long windy ponytails and a beautiful miko outfit!

Charlotte Dunois: Swimsuit Ver.

As soon as I start thinking things have cooled down, a late heat wave often comes by and ruins my day. Although now that I think about it my Summer this year did not involve a single pool or ocean… maybe next year…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product announced last week! ♪

The 1/7th Scale:
Charlotte Dunois: Swimsuit Ver.! ♪

From the anime series IS (Infinite Stratos) comes a 1/7th scale figure of one of the heroines, Charlotte Dunois! Enjoy her bashful smile and cute swimsuit whenever you need some company!

Ooooohhh!!! （*´▽｀*）

A rather reserved personality, but a very sexy body!! ♪

Charlotte-chan is here to join your collection in her swimsuit!! The slightly embarrassed smile on her face is just perfect!! (*´Д`)♡

Let’s zoom out a little so you can see her whole body!

She is clearly playing with her fingers to hide her embarrassment… which triggers some kind of desire inside me to want to preserve her cute smile!! (ﾟＡﾟ;)ｺﾞｸﾘ

However the position of her hands also cause her arms to create a kind of frame for her chest… Delicious!! ♥

Her crossed legs also add a little to the subtle shy appearance, while also having a rather sexy appeal! They are sculpted in detail down to the very tips of the toes!

She is actually posed standing on tiptoes! ♥︎
Perhaps more importantly… bare feet are so beautiful!!!

Anyway…

Let’s take a look from the back too! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ
From the back you get a better look at her beautiful slender body!

Personally I find the sculpting and shading of the back of her knees absolutely stunning! ♫

Let’s try a lower angle! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

You can see her cute belly button nicely from down here!!

The fabric-like look of her pareo is very nicely done!
(It’s also an incredible angle to make you what is underneath that pareo!)

A close look at her fingers and bracelet also shows a nice level of detail! (´□｀｡)

Another thing I really love is the dent between her hipbone and stomach! Every single curve and proportion on her body gives her the perfect female figure!

Switching things up, let’s go from a high angle!

The braided hair at her side has been very intricately made!

This angle also shows off the unevenness caused by her shoulder blades! ♪

Don’t you just wish you could run your finger along those bumps?! ( – ｪ-)

The necklace made in the image of Rafale-Revive Custom II also matches her swimsuit nicely!

…although looking at the necklace makes my eyes wander downward…
That soft-looking chest is too hard to not notice!

You can also make out the shape of her rib cage just below them!

The swimsuit is rather revealing, meaning the sculpting is focused on the body and all the intricate curves that come with bare skin! It’s such a wonder to stare at…! (｀・ω・´)

Nendoroid Hana Mutou & Nendoroid Menma Rerelease!

I’m rather excited about all the public holidays coming up this month! I’m sure many of you will be going away on little vacations… but I’ll probably be cooped up in my room!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at the first Nendoroid from Captain Earth…

Nendoroid Hana Mutou!

From the original anime series ‘Captain Earth’ comes a Nendoroid of the heroine, Hana Mutou! She comes with three expressions including her a gentle standard face, an innocent smiling face and a singing face.

Optional parts include a baked potato, special parts to pose her sitting as well as the cute little squirrel-like creature ‘Pitz’ who always accompanies her! Recreate your favorite scenes from the series in Nendoroid size.

Ooooohhhhhhh!!! （*´▽｀*）
The dark-skinned beauty, Hana-chan!! ♪

She has a wonderful smile bright enough to shine on even the darkest of days! Plus even as an adorable Nendoroid, her beautiful curves that were the envy of Akari-chan are also faithfully shrunk down to Nendoroid size!

Let’s spin around and take a look from the side!

From the side you can see her braids can me posed swinging left and right!

Pitz’s furry tail also looks lovely! ♡

Not to mention that Pitz’s neck is also articulated to move left and right, allowing for slightly different nuances when posing him! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

But there are many more optional parts to come!

Baked Potato Parts! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

You can see just how much Hana-chan loves these sweet potatoes! Just looking at her makes me feel like smiling as well! ♡

Although the battles may be the main focus of the story, Captain Earth always has lovely ‘everyday’ scenes as well which really tie everything together! The baked potato part reminds me of those scenes which is why I love it so much! ♪

Plus I just love to see girls who enjoy munching on goodies!! She looks so happy which makes me happy too!! (*´Д`)

But she also comes with other expressions as well!

A much more mature expression at that!

Posed running her fingers through her hair, just like in the opening of the anime! The expression has her looking to the left with a very gentle smile on her face – giving her a slightly mysterious appearance! (・∀・)!

Let’s take a closer look at her outfit!

The white dress contrasts her dark skin so beautifully! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The parting line under her chest allows both the shape of the one-piece dress as well as her rather impressive body! The dress also has a lovely frilly feeling at the ends! ♪

She also comes with other parts that suit the expression perfectly…

Sitting Parts! ヾ(｡｀・Д・´｡)ﾉ

… Delicious!!!

These parts have such a gentle feeling to them, suiting Hana-chan’s character so nicely! Pitz also comes all rolled up into a ball to sleep on her lap!

Finally, her third expression is this singing face!

I can just hear her divine voice in my head!!
She even comes with special hand and arm parts to pose her with her hands out in front of her like this!

If you combine the sitting parts, singing expression and baked potato…

You can even pose her like this! ( -ﾉｪ-)

I love the fact that her sitting pose has bare feet!!

I also love it when an expression has multiple uses like this!

So many different situations to enjoy!

From the anime series ‘Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai’ comes a rerelease of Nendoroid Meiko Honma, better known as Menma – the lively, friendly member of the ‘Super Peace Busters’. She comes with a variety of optional parts, including Menma’s diary filled with her memories and thoughts of all her friends, as well as some of her steamed bread, which helped everyone believe she was actually with them.

She also comes with parts to recreate the scene from the ending theme – including flower parts and stands to place them on, as well as an expression with closed eyes and arm parts to let her put her arms behind her back. She comes with everything you need to recreate your favorite heart-warming scenes from the series!

While playing racing games, I pretty much never touch the brake button… whether it’s Initial D or Mario Cart, I’m always going full throttle! Which also of course means I always lose a huge amount of time on turns! (；´∀｀)

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at Good Smile Racing’s…

The goddess that guided the GSR team’s Z4 back into the top of the overall ranking by two points after last weekend’s race!

I managed to get get hold of the painted prototype of her to give a quick preview on the blog! There is currently only one photo on the GSC site, so you’ll be able to see a whole lot more from this blog!! Including a first look at some of the optional parts! ( -ﾉｪ-)

The very first photo above was of course taken in the classic pose of the original illustration! The same pose that Racing Miku 2014 Ver. is posed in! Even the awesome round mechanical parts are included!

However she also comes with more simple parts instead of the round parts – these can also be seen on the GSC Site Product Page at the moment! ♪

In other words…

You can easily switch between the two different attachments! (｀・ω・´)

Simply pick the one you think suits her better!

Moving on, let’s see how she looks from the back! ♡

The lovely coiling look of her twintails has been kept beautifully!
The very tips of the hair are slightly transparent to lovely effect!

The outfit also shows off her back and bottom!
She is a rather slender Miku-san, but her bottom still has some meat to it! *nom nom* (๑´ڡ`๑)

By the way, along with the determined expression you see above, she also comes with this adorable smiling expression! ♡

I-It’s so cute!! (*´Д`)

It also makes her look a little more youthful and innocent! ♪
It’s nice to have expressions that change the feeling of a character so much – it allows for a much broader set of possible poses!

Another thing to note is just how faithfully her outfit has been preserved in figma form!

By the way, the outfit around the stomach area is made from a soft material for easy posing!

Hmm… Miku also seems to be holding something here! What is it…?

She looks so happy and proud to be holding it! (´□｀｡)

Plus there is another optional part that simply had to be included…

Her Racing Parasol!

She comes with both a closed and open version, allowing for a variety of different options! ♪

Special hand parts are also included to hold the parasol, and are included for the left and right hands! Which means you can even pose her holding both the open and closed parasols at the same time! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

The photo above is taken in the image of the Z4 speeding past Miku-san, causing a rush of wind that blows her twintails over to the side! ♡

Prisma Illya (Anime ver.)

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

I really have no idea what clothes to wear at the moment… In the morning I think it’s going to be cool so I put an extra layer of clothes on… only to find that it’s super hot inside the offices… ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at Phat! Company’s:

1/8th Scale:

Prisma Illya (Anime ver.)!

From the spin-off manga of ‘Fate/stay night’ with its second anime season currently airing, ‘Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the main character Illya based on the designs from the anime series!

Everything about her magical girl outfit has been faithfully included on the figure, down to the Class Card holder at her hips! A special base is also included allowing you to display her jumping through the air – a dynamic pose that fans of the series are sure to enjoy!

A figure of the adorable fifth year primary school student who was tricked into becoming a magic girl by the Kaleidostick, Magical Ruby! Her lovely pink and white magical girl outfit has been beautifully sculpted!

Let’s see how she looks from the back! (*´Д｀)=з

Both her long hair and outfit are sculpting floating up in the air for a lovely jumping pose that puts Illya in mid motion! ♪

The outfit is considered by Illya herself to be rather embarrassing, but it really does suit her so nicely! Let’s take a close-up look!

Whenever I see this many frills I just want to do a little dance!

Each and every one of the frills is so carefully made, and the Class Card holder also looks great!

The magical staff ‘Magical Ruby’, which was responsible for transforming Illya into this adorable form, is also included – held in her left hand! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

The light pink wing accessories in her hair are also very cute!

The light colors all over the figure bring out Illya’s magical girl form perfectly. You’ll notice that all the different parts of her outfit actually have a slight light-dark gradient on them which adds a soft and gentle feeling to her!

I also personally love this angle! ＜◯＞＜◯＞

From this angle you can see her open back and shoulder blades!!
Her thin build and touchable looking skin shows off the power of youth!!

The arm lifted up over her head also means that you get a nice clean look at the immaculate curve of her armpit!! The ever so slight bumps of her bosom and soft looking thighs are also all visible from this angle!!

Absolutely delicious!! （*´▽｀*）

By the way, some of you may remember that Phat! also released a similar product in May this year: Prisma Illya (Manga ver.)!

The outfit and the hair style are rather different, but they can be posed together for a great effect! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

But anyway, my review today is for the anime version so let me get back to that! (｀・ω・´)

I can just hear her lovely voice… (*´Д`)
I feel all relaxed inside looking at this smile… ♡

Although the outfit as a whole is adorable, attention to the smaller details such as the hemming of her skirt, the tips of her fingers and even her knee-high socks are all amazing! The little bit of skin you can see between her socks and skirt is also priceless!! (｀・ω・´)

Another thing to note is that although you can see a prop holding the figure up on the right leg, this is only for the prototype! According to the figure’s planner, uchitaro, the final product will be supported in much harder to see ways. You’ll be able to enjoy Illya without the prop getting in the way! ( -ﾉｪ-)

Nendoroid Sinon

Whenever I play 2-player shooting games I always tend to die really quickly, which means I’m left with a lot of time waiting for my partner to either die or finish the level. I have however become an expert at cheering on the second player while I’m dead!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product up for preorder tomorrow…

Nendoroid Sinon! ♪

From the anime series ‘Sword Art Online II’ comes a Nendoroid of one of the best snipers in GGO, Sinon! Her arms are specially articulated allowing for all sorts of poses with her beloved rifle, the Hecate II. Sinon even comes with alternate parts that allow you to display her prone in a sniping pose, as well as shooting effect parts!

Both a standard expression showing her cool and collected side, as well as an adorable embarrassed expression are both included. Be sure to add the cool and cute Sinon to your collection!

Sinon-chan, the beautiful cool-headed sniper! ♥

Even as a little Nendoroid her eyes are filled with a firm determination and careful judgement! Let’s take a look from the back!

From the back you get a good look at the ‘Hecate II’ sniper rifle!

The size has been adjusted to suit the chibi Nendoroid look, but even so the smaller mechanical bits are rather detailed! The scope in particular is amazing! (｀・ω・´)

The scarf around her neck is also fitted with a ball joint, allowing you to pose the scarf in a way that suits your pose!

Her serious expression is so beautiful…! (*´Д`)

She also comes with a bent right leg which works great in combat scenes! ♪

(・∀・) “Her outfit is also really something!”

We’re joined by Yuri-chan Honpo Senpai from the planning team!


(・∀・) “It might not look like it at first, but when it comes down to it, Sinon is actually showing off a lot of skin! The outfit is definitely one of the more unique outfits that have been made into a Nendoroid, and the colors have been very intricately separated to get the same look from the series while still keeping the Nendoroid chibi feeling!”

The bare skin on the sides of her stomach and inner thighs! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Even the bullets she holds between her fingers are faithfully included on her left hand here!!

(・∀・) “The hand gun and pouch on her back are also made as separate parts!”

In the photo from the back above you could even see the pouch’s flap!

(・∀・) “Let’s take a closer look at the handgun too!”

Oooh! Firmly attached to her left hip! It’s so small that it’s rather cute ♡

Hang on a second…
Is Sinon-chan lying on her stomach?! ( ﾟдﾟ)

(・∀・) “Sinon-chan is one of the top Snipers in Gun Gale Online, which means she just had to be able to be posed like this!”

Hyaaaaaahoi!! （*´▽｀*）

Sinon-chan prone and taking careful aim upon her targets! How on earth did you managed to pose her like this?! (； ･`ω･´)

The scarf looks different… and I’m sure most Nendoroids can’t have their necks posed like this!

( ・ω・） “She comes with special scarf parts for her ‘prone’ pose!”

We’re joined by Sinon-chan’s sculptor, Isao Shirasagi! (GSC 3D Team)

(・ω・）”The back of her neck is slightly more hollowed out, allowing for the head part to move further upward compared to most Nendoroids. That combined with the special scarf part which attaches to the neck joint allows for the prone pose!”

Simple, yet effective! Perfect for clumsy people like me!

(・ω・） “The special scarf part isn’t just great for easy poses, the sculpting of the creases and twists were also very carefully considered!”

(・∀・) “Plus a little gun stand is included to really show her in sniping mode!”

Speaking of guns… does she come with any of parts to go with them?! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

(・∀・) “I assume you’re talking about these shooting effect parts? They are to recreate the muzzle flash as she fires the bullet!”

Even the effect parts are super detailed! (ﾟＡﾟ;)
I can feel the love for Sinon-chan!! ♡

(・∀・) “We also put a lot of work into her hairstyle!”

(・∀・) “The style itself, the way it spikes out to the sides and even her hair accessories have all been made exactly to the original character designs! Shirasagi-san said her hair was quite a challenge!”

( ・ω・）”In the anime, Sinon-chan’s hair always sticks out to the sides at a nice diagonal to her face, but things aren’t quite that simple when working in the world of 3D instead of 2D. It was quite a challenge, but I think we managed captured the original 2D character design while still having her look good as a figure!”

One of the many charms of figures is the ability to look at them from any angle, but it can also become quite a challenge for the sculptor who has to consider how the figure looks from every side!

By the way, the arm parts on Sinon-chan have been articulated! This allows for a little more freedom of poses, and also helps with the prone pose and poses holding her gun! (σ・∀・)σ

(・∀・) “This was another point we paid special attention to! Take a close look at the bent area!”」

Hmmm?
Even the articulated area features the pattern of her outfit! Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟﾉ)ﾉ

(・∀・) “Exactly! Even though we added a joint, we didn’t want to make it look too obvious with a single color sticking out!”
(I am certain the manufacturing team are going to be shedding tears…!)

(・∀・) “Last but not least, let me introduce her alternate expression part…. are you all ready?”

She’s so cute!!! ♡(´□｀｡)

(・∀・) “Although Sinon-chan is best known for her more serious side, when she remembers some of the things Kiriro has done to her… this embarrassed face is bound to show!”

All of a sudden she is just… too cute!!
The gap between the serious and the cute expressions is huge!!! ＜◯＞＜◯＞

(・∀・) “Ranran from the production team was responsible for Shinon’s expressions… and my request to her was ‘something that contrasts her cute and serious sides’. This is exactly what I was looking for! Great job Ranran!!”

You can also combine the embarrassed expression with the prone pose… ε=(｡・д・｡)

Combined even further with the bent right leg for a very innocent looking pose!

A pose that gets my imagination rolling!! (๑´ㅂ`๑)

FREEing’s 1/4th Scale I-168

Wearing short sleeves is already rather chilly! I’m sure it wasn’t getting this cold at this time last year… I’ve only eaten shaved ice once this year!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure currently up for preorder from FREEing:

The 1/4th Scale:

I-168! ♪


From the popular naval simulation game ‘Kantai Collection – KanColle-‘ comes a 1/4th scale figure of I-168, also known as ‘Imuya’! Her uniform can be removed and she also comes with an alternate expression, allowing you to choose between her half-damaged and standard versions!

At an impressive 1/4th scale, fans can enjoy all the details of the cute Imuya to their heart’s content – but details have also been put into other areas of the figure such as the ship parts she holds in her hands, as well as the huge tube she sits on, specially made from a soft material.

Ooooooooohhhh!! (*´Д`)

Imuya, the Sniper of the Seas is visiting my desk! ♪

She is wearing the classic sailor’s uniform over swimsuit that is loved by Admirals all over!

You can even tell the difference between the texture of the uniform and swimsuit!

The creases in her outfit around her arms and stomach help give the uniform a tight-fitting appearance! (*´Д｀)=з

The original illustration from the game has Imuya looking over her shoulder meaning that the front of her was left to the imagination… but the figure allows Admirals to enjoy her from any angle they please!

Now for a quick size comparison!
The torpedoes and tube compared with my iPhone! (｀・ω・´)ゞ
1/4th scale really is quite impressive!

Plus even though the torpedoes are normally covered up by Imuya and the tube, they are still nicely detailed with a lovely gradient paintwork! (´□｀｡)

The squishy appearance of the tube is also lovely!
Although from this angle…
…the soft skin looks even more squishy than the tube!

Even her fingers and fingernails use a different paint to bring out an even more realistic appearance!


The hand holding a ship looks like so! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

I love the way she is holding the boat with her index finger pointing outward! It’s strangely cute! ♪ Her long ponytail and ahoge also faithfully represent the original illustration!

From the twists and curls in her hair down to the ribbons tied near the ends – everything has been faithfully included! Her kind of surprised, but still confident looking expression also looks fantastic! ♥

If you look closely at her hair you’ll even notice the tips have a light blue gradient at the very edges! (｀・ω・´)

Looking from this side angle also gives a nice look at her sexy back, hips and bottom that curve in a beautiful S-shape! ( -ﾉｪ-)

But… there is still more! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

You can also display her in the half-damage pose!!

The sailor uniform can be removed to reveal her torn-up swimsuit!

Not only that, but she also comes with an alternate expression part to switch to for a completely different feeling! Even the tears in her swimsuit are faithful to the game’s design!

The little peek you get of her shoulder blades is lovely, but I adore the way that parts of the swimsuit are bunched up even more!

The fact that the swimsuit also has that ‘shiny’ appearance through the paintwork is a nice touch!

Not to mention that if you look from the front you can make out the shape of her belly button perfectly!! ( OωO)ﾉ

We might never know the true size of Imuya’s breasts seen she is always facing away, but FREEing has given her a nice moderate size that I agree suits her very nicely!

Enjoy both the standard and half-damage I-168 in 1/4th scale! ♡

Nendoroid Petite Love Live!: Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki Ver.

September! No wonder it’s already cooling down! We’re already in September!! Almost time for the culture festivals in schools around Japan to start! ♪

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Petite: Love Live!:
Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki Ver.

From the popular anime ‘Love Live!’ comes a set of Nendoroid Petite figures featuring the members of μ’s in their stage outfits from the second season opening theme, ‘Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki’.

The set includes members Honoka Kousaka, Umi Sonoda, Kotori Minami, Hanayo Koizumi, Rin Hoshizora, Maki Nishikino, Nico Yazawa, Eli Ayase, Nozomi Tojo and one secret figure! Collect them all to complete a Nendoroid Petite Love Live! Stage!

Oooooooh!! （*´▽｀*）

Cute Nendoroid Petite figures of all nine members of μ’s in their white, black and red stage outfits! ♥

I can just picture the opening theme playing through my head now…


Each of their outfits are ever so slightly different – all following the original character designs down to a tee!

The details are enough to make one forget just how small these Nendoroid Petites are! (ﾟＡﾟ;)

(・∀・) “…as usual, we went a bit overboard with the details!”

We’re joined by Hamako from the planning team!

(・∀・) “It’s actually rather hard to keep detail on Nendoroid Petites, but each of their outfits has ever so slight differences and accessories that bring out their respective characters – we did our best to keep them in tact!”

The varying accessories on their chests as well as their hats and ribbons are all carefully sculpted!

The earrings swaying slightly with the poses are also lovely! (*´∀｀*)

Each of the characters also has a rather dynamic look to them, as if they really are in the middle of dancing! ♥︎

Even the hair has been sculpted to match the poses – swaying in the direction of movement! Also… these poses… they’re rather familiar…

(・∀・) “They’re all taken directly from the opening to the second season!”

I knew it!!

That also explains why they look like they’re dancing – the poses really were taken right in the middle of a dance! (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ

(・∀・)”It’s actually quite fun to watch the opening theme and try to pause the video at each of the poses to compare the figure with the original scene!”

Maki-chan’s pose is right from the start! I recognise it!! (*´Д`)
Hanayo-chan’s is also very memorable from the opening! I recognised it as soon as I saw her!

(・∀・) “Some of the characters are based on poses where the camera wasn’t really focusing on them, so it can be a little harder sometimes!”

… I shall find them all! (｀・ω・´)

Although…. the opening theme is filled with all sorts of dance moves and possible poses. It must have been quite difficult for you to decide on the poses!

(・∀・) “It took ages! We really struggled to come to a decision on some of the characters – but after checking with all the Love Live! fans in the office I think we got a nice varying set of poses! Poses that really bring out the personalties of the characters too!”

(・∀・) “Another thing that we took into consideration was displaying them together! Although one by one they are each really cute – the μ’s members obviously look best when they’re together, so we made sure they looked great when displayed next to each other!”

You really did have to keep all sorts of things in mind while working on the poses! ♫

(・∀・) “This is the first time that all the members can be collected in a single set of figures, so I wanted it to feel special!”

Right! Let’s display them each by school grade!

They’re all so adorable!!

They look great separated by grade like this, but there are all sorts of other combinations that I want to try too!

I guess I should just display them all together!! ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡
