I hear the next Silver Week group of public holidays will only be in 11 years time! I cannot hide my shock… I was hoping it would be a lovely long holiday like this week every year from now on!! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Katori!!♡

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the training cruiser, Katori! She comes with three expressions including her standard expression, an expression based on her half-damage pose as well as a strict expression showing that she is ready to discipline students during training. All of her ship parts have also been carefully sculpted, including the cannons she has even as a training cruiser. Her trademark whip is included in both a straight and bent form, allowing you to display her disciplining the other KanColle Nendoroids in various different ways! She also comes with the coffee and coffee pot that she holds during time announcements in the game! Enjoy the gentle Katori-san by your side!

Oooooohhh!! (/ω＼)

With teaching cane in hand, Katori is here in her military instructor-like outfit and ready to train the other Kanmusu in Nendoroid size!

Even as a Nendoroid…

…her sexy body is still very noticeable!

The tight outfit makes sure that the curves of her body are nice and clear for all to see! The outfit itself is also very detailed with careful attention to the creases all around the body at curves and openings! Although it might not be an outfit that shows off much skin, that certainly doesn’t mean that it isn’t rather sexy!!

Let’s see how she looks from the back! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The unique way she ties her hair up at the back, as well as her ship parts are all sculpted with careful attention to detail! As with the previous Nendoroid Kanmusu, the ship parts attach to the character with a Nendoroid joint allowing you to easily move them to various angles to match your pose! ★

The turrets can also be moved left and right, as well as rotated up and down! The connection point is also a joint allowing you to twist it to various different angles as well! ♡

△ The first photo had them all straight, but all sorts of angles are possible!

She also comes with her trademark whip, which comes in both a bent whip which you can see above as well as a straight version that works better for certain scenes!

Here we have her proudly instructing! Simply pick the pose you like best! (。・ω・)ノ゛

Katori’s reliable older sister smile has a very gentle feeling to it that shows she is very tolerant…

However! Don’t get too relaxed!!

Those cold eyes!!

A scornful downward gaze! She also comes with this rather different jump in personalities… a jump that some would rather avoid… while others would call it nothing less than a prize! Would you like to be disciplined by her? I know I would!

Her third expression is also rather different!

Her Half-Damage Expression!

Aww!! She’s so cute!! ( ；∀；)

I can just imagine her voice looking at this pose! “I’m hit… but my turrets are still alright! I will go down fighting!!”. You can see she also comes with firing effect parts for her turrets which make for a great combat scene! ★

The combination of the teary eyes, furled eyebrows and worried looking mouth… it’s a completely different feel to the previous expressions but is filled with all sorts of charming points!! I wish I could jump in beside her and defend her – to restore the cute smile we started the bog off with! ♡

Speaking of that cute smile…

She also comes with these optional parts which work really nicely with her smiling expression! ♡

 

She also comes with a coffee pot, cup and saucer from her time announcements in the game! The pure white china has a very elegant look to it which suits her nicely! How could any admiral say no to such an adorable smile? I really want to display her like this next to my computer!! (●´ω｀●)

But with a quick switch of expressions…

I have the feeling I’m about to be disciplined by my Nendoroid…

I’m also relatively certain that’s not just coffee!!

I spent some time playing table tennis during my Summer break which has left me with really stiff thighs… and by some time I mean about a total of one hour. I guess this shows just how unfit I am at the moment…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Ooyodo!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the light cruiser, Ooyodo! She comes with three different expressions including her standard sideways glance, a confident expression as well as a combat expression! Her large ship parts are included in all their glory, and the Shiun aircraft can be set on both the ship parts on her back as well as the catapult on her arm. Other optional parts clearly mark her as a flagship with parts such as a sea chart based on the one found during strategy meetings in the headquarters as well as a communication device. The quill pen and file seen during the ‘Mission’ menu screen in game is also included for her to hold. Nendoroid Ooyodo is filled with fun options and is ready to join your fleet!

Oooooh!! (●´ω｀●)

The light cruiser that was specially designed as a flagship, Ooyodo is joining the Nendoroids! Her lovely long black hair and blue headband… not to mention the gentle eyes behind her bottom-only framed glasses! All the details that make Ooyodo herself have been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size!♡

Her rather unique skirt that shows off some thighs has also been faithfully preserved!

Personally I also love the creases in her skirt, as well as the armor on her legs!

Not to mention the huge seaplane hangar on her back!!

The hangar has two lanes and even allows the included two seaplanes to be stored inside!!

Anyway, let’s take a look at her other expressions! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

A smiling expression just brimming with confidence!

Those eyebrows and the V-shaped mouth are so cute! ♡

The standard expression from the first few photos and this expression definitely both bring out a rather different side of Ooyodo’s personality! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Also note the catapult to launch planes on her arm… you can even see that one of the planes is connected and ready for take off!!

By the way, the hangar on her back is connected with a double Nendoroid joint that attaches to her hips! This makes it easy to match the hangar parts with various poses! ★

Plus the ship parts can also be removed! 

This expression suits her so perfectly!! (´□｀｡)

You can even pose her as if pushing her glasses up with the specially included hand parts!! The file that she holds on the ‘Mission’ screen is also included for her to hold as a Nendoroid!

Plus as you may have noticed, she also has headphones here to intercept communications!

In addition, this part is also included…!! <○><○>

Yep! This transceiver is also included!!

But that’s still not all – the sea chart based on the one found during strategy meetings in the headquarters is also included to allow your fleet to plan their attacks! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Northern Princess!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Abyssal warship, ‘Northern Princess’! The enemy ship looks as adorable as ever, but don’t be fooled by her appearance – she is equipped with all sorts of highly dangerous weaponry which has all been faithfully recreated in Nendoroid size! the batteries on her main turret can even be moved by rotating the runway on the side! Optional parts include two of the rather peculiar aircraft that fly by her side, as well as the ‘Zero’ plane that she hold in her hands. Additionally, she also comes with parts that allow you recreate certain parts of her special Christmas version that was seen during the Christmas event in December 2014. Three expression parts are also included – her standard expression, a shouting expression and a cute expression with upturned eyes. Various different parts and expressions to create the Northern Princess you want by your side!

“Go… back…!”The adorable Abyssal ship ‘Hoppo-chan’ also known as the Northern Princess or by her Japanese name ‘Hokuhou Seiki’ is joining the Nendoroids! ♡

Everything about her design from the beautiful white hair, the little horns on top of it, her bare feet, cute white mittens and one piece dress have all been minimized into cute Nendoroid size!! You can also see from the photo above she also comes with all sorts of ship parts!! ヽ(ｏ´∀｀ｏ)ﾉ

She also comes with three expression parts!!

First up is this shouting expression!

Next up we this glaring expression…

An expression that makes you think of one of her famous lines!

She may be adorable, but don’t underestimate her!

There have been many admirals who have suffered the wrath of her fire power… (´□｀｡) As I already mentioned earlier, she  also comes with all sorts of ship parts! I’ll take a closer look at them in a bit!

The third and final expression is a slightly mischievous looking expression with upturned eyes! ♥︎

This expression suits her mysterious side so very well!! It’s so adorable!! Each of the expressions really brings out a different side of Hoppo-chan allowing you to enjoy various different sides to her! ♡

Hmm? The ship parts seem a little different now?! 

Let’s take a closer look at how they work! The previous KanColle Nendoroids are all known to have very mobile ship parts… and Abyssal ships are no exception!! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Let’s take a look from the back! ♪

Each of the arrows in the above photos represents a Nendoroid joint and the areas surrounded by dots can also be moved!

She can be posed in all sorts of ways just like her KanMusu counterparts!

Any just in case you were wondering, these photos are only to show off the ship parts! Don’t go looking underneath her billowing one piece which has been faithfully sculpted!

Anyway!

The runway on the side of her turret also features another little gimmick! If you rotate the runway the turret moves like so!

The turrets are firing away at enemies!! Plus as always, all the ship parts can also be removed if you want to display a much less threatening Hoppo-chan!

You can also see some the damaged appearance of the runway has been included on the design! (*´Д｀)=з

She’s playing with her little aeroplane!! ☆

She’s just… SO CUTE!! 

The small appearance is part of what makes her look so cute, but also note that her hair has some incredible volume… perhaps more than any of the previous Nendoroid Kanmusu!

The way her hair expands outward…

If you take a look at her from directly above you’ll get a good feeling for the space it takes up!

You can’t even see her body any more!!

While the skirt gives the Nendoroid a rather dynamic feeling, the hair is no exception! It really seems to be moving about, and no matter what angle you choose to look from it simply looks fantastic! (●´ω｀●)

Holding her in my hand like in the photo before this one actually makes me feel strangely relaxed inside…

Plus there are still more optional parts to come…! ♡

She comes with a hat and present part!!

This allows you to recreate part of the limited edition Christmas Hoppo-chan that was seen during Christmas 2014! The hat attaches onto the left horn part!! (・∀・)

Ship parts with a Christmas Tree are also included! っヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Nendoroid Hoppo-chan is scheduled to be released in December 2015, which makes these parts rather appropriate… she would make a great Christmas present for any Admirals out there!★

Now… another thing many of you might be wondering while looking at these photos is…how is is that some photos how Hoppo-chan’s mouth, and others hide it??

The collar part of her outfit has a thick and thin side to it, meaning you can switch the part around to show more or less of the face! Many of my photos are taken at an angle so some of them might be hard to tell which side of the collar I am using though… sorry! (/ω＼)

Simply put though, by turning this part around, you can choose between hiding and showing Hoppo-chan’s mouth! ☆

Combined with all the expressions and parts, this allows for so many different posing options!! Be sure to add the cute Hoppo-chan to your collection and give her the love she deserves… I’m sure she won’t sink your fleet!

I like my omelettes fluffy! Just thinking of omelettes makes me really hungry though! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Yamato! ♡ 

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the battleship Yamato with all her ship parts included, creating a rather large figure for a Nendoroid! The 46cm turret batteries on her back feature a special connection allowing them to aim forward, and each of the gun turrets are individually articulated for all sorts of options. The ship parts can also be opened out through the use of a Nendoroid joint! She also comes with a ramune drink and omelette rice as optional parts, as well as explosion parts to display her being attacked! Anti-aircraft guns are also included and can be attached to recreate her ‘Kai’ appearance!

Oooooooooohhhh!! (´□｀｡)

The long-awaited Nendoroid of the super-dreadnought developed in secret by the Kure Naval Arsenal as a trump card – Yamato! The largest Kanmusu to join the Nendoroids so far!! Even in the KanColle universe Yamato is seen as a sort of flagship for the series! ★

Let’s see how she looks from the back! (o*・з・)o

The ship parts are so big you can hardly see Yamato herself!

You can at the very least still see her cute ponytail twisting around ever so slightly! Her radar umbrella is also faithfully included with a translucent plastic!

The huge ship parts remind you that she is a destroyer, but she also has these more gentle  parts to show she has a more gentle side to her personality too!

Each of the flowers in her hair have also been sculpted one-by-one and the hair accessory that becomes a part of the radar has also been very intricately made! There are really just too many things to look at on this figure… I don’t really know where to start! o(ﾟдﾟo≡oﾟдﾟ)o

Let’s take a closer look at her ship parts! ★ 

I’m sure everyone will have a load of fun playing around with it when they get their hands on her! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

I’m sure most eyes jumped right to her chest first… but what I want to point out is what is holding in her hands! Armor-Piercing Rounds! (σ・∀・)σ

Various different sizes are included and each includes its own little stand!

But there are still many more parts to recreate battle scenes!! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

Various effect parts for her turrets make for an amazing firing scene!! ☆ 

She really is huge for a Nendoroid!!

All seven of the turret batteries come with shooting effect parts! (´□｀｡)

Making use of all the effect parts makes for perhaps the most noticeable Nendoroid of all time! (Except perhaps Mikudayo…)

Plus the 46cm back cannon can be deployed to fire forward!

The battery itself can also be rotated around, meaning that Yamato can aim her cannon pretty much anywhere! So much firepower… but there is still more!!

Now with upgraded anti-air weaponry!”

Nendoroid Yamato even comes with anti-aircraft turrets for her left and right sides as well as an anti-aircraft machine gun for her left and right cannons as optional parts! These of course allow you to change her into Yamato Kai!

Plus she also comes with sitting lower body parts too!!

By the way! The very important details of the outfit have been faithfully included too! Take a look at the little opening in her skirt and you’ll notice a black sting and anchor!

As you can see here, the ship parts can also be completely detached allowing for a more standard Nendoroid size! She also comes with this alternate smiling expression which makes her look so very bright and happy!

Yamato Kai looking so very cheerful!! (●´ω｀●)

Oh yes! I jumped to the sitting parts too quickly! Note that she also comes with a left leg that include the ‘Hirihoukenten‘ kanji on her sock for the Kai version!

As I mentioned before though… people tend to focus on the ship parts a lot, but the Nendoroid itself is also amazing! Just look at the details on her outfit and hair!!(*ﾟｰﾟ*)

“H-Ha! That wasn’t even close to a direct hit!” 

Aaaah!!! So cute!!! (/ω＼)

She has that cute look of an animal that has been surprised by something that suddenly moved! ♡ Torpedo strike effect parts are also included, making battle scenes look even more awesome!

And if you look from above…

Here you can get a good look at both the Kai Anti-air Machine Guns as well as the ‘Taking Damage‘ parts! 

There are so many optional parts!
I’ve lost track of how many I’ve introduced now…. but we’re still not done!!

Yamato’s ‘time calls’ in game include this line where she offers the admiral some Ramune to drink, so a bottle of Ramune is also included!! It’s make with a bit of shiny translucent material which really makes it look like there is some liquid inside!! (*´Д｀)

But we’re sill not done!!

She also comes with Omelette Rice!! ♥︎

Complete with a nice dash of demi-glace sauce and some green peas!

Such a lovely meal!♪ As expected of a hotel!

The half-damage expression has a bit of an embarrassed look to it which works in various different situations! So cute!!

But that brings us to the end of her parts! ★

 

 

Let’s take another look from another angle!

Along with everything above she also comes with the alternate expressions as well as various different arm and leg parts and sitting parts!! I get the feeling the packaging is going to be rather… large!

For those of you are thinking that we went a little overboard with this one… you’re right. I agree with you 100%! However!

She is the first of the Yamato-class battleships!
We had to make sure she lived up to that name!♡

Nendoroid Ryujo!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the light aircraft carrier, Ryujo! She comes complete with both a standard aeroplane and ‘shikigami’ paper planes to fly beside her. The divination scroll in the image of a flight deck as well as a pouch to hang from her shoulder are both included. Her favorite food, takoyaki, are also included for her to enjoy! ♪ Alternate parts to recreate her half-damaged appearance are also included!

From the popular browser game Kantai Collection comes a Nendoroid of the light cruiser, Ryujo!

Everything about her design down to the scroll in the image of a flick deck have been faithfully converted into chibi Nendoroid size! The outfit is a nice blend between Japanese and Western styles!

The mini AA-guns around her hips look so detailed!! (σ・∀・)σ

She is wearing thick-soled shoes giving her a longer appearance… not that her petite build isn’t adorable! It makes me want to pet her on the head as she is so cute!! The twin-tails are fitted with Nendoroid joints allowing you to easily match them up with any poses! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Anyway, as I’m sure many have noticed, the first photo featured an aeroplane!

(・∀・) “Ryujo comes with quite a few types of aeroplanes!”

We’re joined by the planner for Nendoroid Ryujo, Kyojin!

(・∀・) “We wanted to allow fans to recreate the effect of Ryujo ‘summoning’ the planes from paper planes, so we included various points of the transformation!”

 

The divining fire summons the aircraft !!  

(・∀・) “Four plane parts are included – a paper plane, mid-transformed plane, Mitsubishi A5M and Nakajima B5N!”

It’s really like they are slowing changing as they move along! ♪

(・∀・) “Each plane also comes with it’s own little stand, allowing for quick and easy placement wherever you like!”

Anyway, up until now we’ve had a rather serious Ryujo in combat mode… what other expressions does she have?

(・∀・) “First up we have this smiling expression!”

Ooooooooohhhh!! (´□｀｡)

Definitely a much more gentle expression compared to the previous one!

But wait! The scroll!! I know this pose!

(・∀・) “You can easily place the scroll in the position of Ryujo Kai Ni as both a long and short version are included!”

The long version reaches about 13.5cm in length including the bottom section!

But hold on a second… the previous pose had the scroll kind of bend around… is it made from a soft material, or…? （？△？）

That means that you can create all sorts of bendy poses with the scroll as well! By the way, the shorter scroll will be completely made from the harder material. The soft paper is only used on the longer version!

(・∀・) “Yep! It was a tough choice deciding on what fun parts to give her, but we eventually decided on the takoyaki, the same as was found on the GAMERS special poster of Ryujo” 

The see-though packaging and even the stick to eat them with! Such wonderful detail! ♡

(・∀・) “Another thing that was on this poster was the pouch for holding her scroll! It’s also included!”

The strap part is even made from actual fabric for unobstructed posing! Yay!

(・∀・) “These parts allow for more everyday life scenes – a rather different feel to the combat look!”

Finally! What is her third expression?

(・∀・) “A Half-damaged expression!!!” 

Just look at those downward facing eyebrows!! She looks so defeated!! 

(・∀・) “This time we decided it was time to include a half-damaged body once again! The skirt is all ripped up and jewel from her neck is hanging down… not to mention her shirt being ripped open showing her stomach!” 

I personally love that her little belly button is showing! ♡

Even the reverse side has a damaged look to it!

Even the torn right shoulder has been faithfully added to the  damaged body!

(・∀・) “It was quite a tough Nendoroid to work on, but I think we packed her fill with Ryujo love! I’m sure fans will enjoy adding her to their collections!”
