Dragon Crown’s Sorceress

I feel like toasting some marshmallows. Nothing beats toasting marshmallows on an open fire when the weather starts to cool down!! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

The 1/7th Scale…

Sorceress!★

From the game ‘Dragon’s Crown’ comes a scale figure of the Sorceress class – an addition to the ‘Wonderful Hobby Selection’ series of high quality figures!

Vanillaware’s unique rich paintwork that charmed the hearts of many players has been faithfully preserved in the figure rendition and her witch’s hat and certain sections of her skirt can removed for a slightly different appearance to enjoy. Her multi-layered hair has been carefully detailed, and both her bountiful bosom as well as her sexy long legs have all been sculpted to perfection for fans to admire in their collections for years to come!

Ooooohhh!! (´□｀｡)

The busty bodied user of Dark Magic from Dragon’s Crown has been sculpted into a figure capturing all of her charm to keep in your collection! Even the paintwork matches up to the unique coloring that Vanillaware makes use of in their games! Painted by Hiroyuki Hirose (Decomas Lab), he has kept the color balance on the figure absolutely perfect! ♥︎

Note all the shadows formed by the hair parts and various parts of her clothing! The figure really comes to life when you take note of how realistic the details are! The sculpting was done by Deira who is a full digital sculptor!

Even though the figure was digitally sculpted, there are certainly no signs to show that! The ‘soft’ feeling about her skin makes it look like it will really be soft to the touch giving her such a charming appearance. Let’s take a closer look at all the elements that make her the bewitching lady that she is!

Even from the side…

A bountiful bosom indeed!

Personally I also really love the coloring around at her elbows that you can see here! The rounded, lady-like appearance of the elbows can even be seen through her outfit! ♪

Her back is also not to be missed, with an outfit that shows off the bare skin on her back very nicely, and also gives a nice look at her spine and shoulder blades that all comes together to create that lovely curvaceous body!! You can enjoy this figure from absolutely any angle, and the back is no exception!

I am also told that Max Factory’s manufacturing team have quite the mission ahead of them thanks to these multiple layers of hair!! But it’ll all be worth it, as it looks absolutely fantastic! (/ω＼)

The hair-style has a kind of rough look to it while also providing some sexy curls! Not to mention the gradient paintwork!!

Plus if you look very close at the photo above you’ll notice that something else is peeking through! You heard nothing from me though!

The pose of her legs and that lovely area behind her knee also looks great! (●´ω｀●)

△ Hm? Something seems to be blocking my photo…?!

That’s right! It’s her huge witch’s hat which can easily be attached and removed whenever you like for a slightly different pose! ♪

A closer look at her charming expression without the hat!

She looks so easy to talk to! ♡

As I’m sure you have already seen on the official photos, when the hat is removed you can take a look from upper angles much easier… and the view is quite… lovely!

Take a look at the bare foot! Each of the toes is so intricate, and the arch of the foot has such a lovely curve!!How can anyone not want to fun their fingers along that foot?! (*´Д｀)=з Everyone jumps to her boobs, but I think I’d rather touch those feet!

The base included to hold the Sorceress is filled with all sorts of details to bring out the atmosphere of Dragon’s Crown! For example…

The shoe she must have just removed from her foot…

All the bends in the leather show the shoes are well worn, and the incredible paintwork really gives it a leathery appearance!

Plus behind her she has a skeleton, bent to her will…

The detail on the skull is enough to make it a figure of its own! You can see the battered bones have been through some tough battles, but the expression shouts he is ready for more!! The base really brings out the Dragon’s Crown universe even more!! (σ・∀・)σ

Plus! I can’t say this too loud… but I’m told that the fabric of her outfit around the hips down can also be… “put aside”…

Hestia

Today’s Main Feature…!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s 1/7th scale…

Hestia!☆

From the anime series ‘Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?’ comes a figure of the ‘Loli Goddess’ Hestia in an energetic jumping pose! She also comes with interchangeable parts that allow for a different pose that shows off why the ‘string’ is such a charming addition to her outfit! Enjoy two different poses with just one figure!

Oooohhh!! (●´ω｀●)

An item that was introduced by I.G. Sakai (@sakai_max) last week, but I decided I had to take a closer look at the figure for myself!! ♪

The friendly smile on her face together with the dynamic pose with her twintails flying through the air make for a lovely figure! Not to mention the ‘string’ that everyone loves so much!!

The ribbon faithfully winds around her chest just beneath her rather impressive bosom!!

The ends of the ribbon are also placed wavering around as a part of the dynamic feeling of the pose! Small things like this are what bring the figure together! Also note the way it squeezes down on the skin on her back! ♪

Anyway, let’s move around to the front…

The pose makes her one piece mini-skirt look very short and really takes things to the limits… but fortunately her hands are covering up any areas that I shouldn’t be showing! 😛

You’ll have to wait until she joins your collection to see past those hands… but I promise you will not be disappointed!

But even without being able to see there, you can still see how lovely and soft her thighs look, and the details of all the creases along her one piece dress!

However… she also comes with alternate parts to display her with her hands up in the air!! <○><○>

At this point in development, the alternate parts are from her neck all the way down to her stomach, but this still might change during development!

However the parts will definitely be made in such a way that the partition line will not worry you!!

Anyway, let’s take another look at her lovely chest with these new parts!!

THEY LOOK SO SOFT…!

This is where the blue ribbon really shines, isn’t it! Just look at the way that it shows off just how soft they would be to the touch!! Another thing to note is just how clearly you can make out the shape of her body through the outfit – just look at how clearly her belly button comes though! In the previous pose her ribs were also quite hidden away by the arms, but this part also let’s you see the little bumps of her ribs sculpted so intricately! ♡

So much to enjoy at once!! From her bosom to the stomach… to to mention those smooth arm pits!! (*´Д｀)=з

But that’s enough for the front, let’s take a look at her back as well!

The fabric of her white one-piece dress is so stretched out…!

What could be waiting on the other side?
You’ll have to look with your mind’s eye for now!!

While the outfit is rather simple the sculpt is so detailed that is makes for such an amazing work of art! The sculptor behind this figure was Masanori Kuroda! The same sculptor who worked on popular items such as figma Solid Snake MGS2 ver. and figma Honoka Kosaka!! (He does everything from epic male figures to cute girls!)

Amazing curves and a cute expression, plus a pose you can switch out for a change!

Sun Priestess Tamayorihime

Hello fellow readers of Kahotan Blog and nice to meet you! My name is Akane Eiseihei (@akane_mxf) and I am a member of Max Factory’s planning team!

While Kahotan was away on Summer vacation I wrote up this blog which was published on the Japanese blog, but now that the preorder deadline has been extended a little there is some time to add a translated version to the English side, so here we go! Sorry for the delay!

I don’t think Kahotan realized just how silly she was to leave the blog to me! Who knows what kind of silly things will end up in this blog while I am in control! Today I’m going to be taking a look at this WonHobby Selection item that is currently up for preorder!

Sun Priestess Tamayorihime!

From ‘selector infected WIXOSS’, the anime based on the popular trading card game ‘WIXOSS’ comes a full-scale figure of the level 4 LRIG, Sun Priestess Tamayorihime. Tamayorihime’s cute, innocent and playful appearance has been faithfully recreated in figure form. The floating appearance from the card along with the halos positioned around her have also been carefully preserved, creating a figure that looks as if she has jumped right out of the card to join your collection!

Tama has just jumped right off the card and into the world of figures!!

Take a nice close look at her!!

Such an amazing dynamic pose, not to mention the amazing floating feeling!!

This is the card that the figure was based on – as you can see the figure is completely faithful to the original illustration!

“Tama… she came out of the card for… me…”

This is your chance to become a Selector and aim to be an Eternal Girl!! At least, that’s the way I feel when I look at the figure – it really draws you right into the series as Tama is right there beside you!! Plus as Tama-chan is a LRIG and her actual height is only about 30cm… that also means that this is a full scale figure! The actual size of Tama will be on display beside you!!

By the way, her size when compared to normal scale figures would place her around the 1/7th scale size!

The figure also allows you to see her from the back!

To preserve the floating appearance and still keep her nice and stable, the stand makes use of a clear acrylic pillar!

The official photos don’t include many shots of her from the back, but that is by no means that she doesn’t look great from behind as well!

Just look at the sculpt of those fluttering sleeves and flowing hair…!!

Not to mention all the smooth skin that you can see in the openings of her outfit! I promise you this IS a figure! If you touch the skin it won’t be as soft as it looks!!

Whilst I love illustrations as much as anyone else, there is definitely so much more texture and shape now that you can see her as a completely three dimensional figure! You always needed to imagine the shape and curves of her back and body with the illustration, but now they are right there for you to see! Or even feel!

My personal best things about the figure are her smooth, slim body as well as the little teases you can get while looking around at the gaps of her clothes! Can you see them?! Can’t you?!

The curves of her thighs are also magnificent…!

But let’s not forget that this is Tama-chan that has grown to Level 4!!

Have definitely grown to level 4 too!!

If you look really close at her hips you’ll notice you can just see the faint outlines of her bones as they push on the skin due to her posing! That somehow gets me really excited!! By the way, the sculptor for this figure is none other than Shining Wizard @ Sawatika – a sculptor said to have no equal when it comes to adding the little details like these!!

The paintwork is also outstanding!

Take a second to look at the clothes she is wearing. While it’s mostly just a while outfit the various shades and highlights all over and slight use of yellows and blues create something that definitely isn’t just a slap of white paint – the attention to details and lighting is very carefully considered!

Plus even the feather accessories in her hair cast shadows which have clearly been depicted by intricate paintwork! They say transferring illustrations into figures is not an easy task, but this figure is an example that it can be done with a good balance of sculpt and paintwork!!

I really have to say this figure is a masterpiece! You will love her once she joins your collection!! Make sure you don’t miss out!

I live a life of virtually zero exercise! When I think of sweating I think of going to concerts more than anything else! Anyway, following on from yesterday, today I’ll be looking at the remaining WonFes items!

The New Generation girl’s Rin Shibuya and Uzuki Shimamura are back as figmas wearing their training jerseys! Let’s take a look at them one-by-one!

figma Rin Shibuya: Jersey ver.

From the anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a figma of Rin Shibuya wearing a running jersey!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· She comes with both a serious expression brimming with self-confidence as well as a slightly flustered, unsure expression.
· Optional parts include arm parts to display her hands in her pockets and drop-shaped stickers to display her sweating.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

Along with the smiling expression above, she also comes with this unsure expression!

…I’m sure this brings back memories for fans!

From the anime series THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS comes a figma of Uzuki Shimamura wearing a running jersey!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· She comes with both a gentle smiling expression as well as a clumsy expression for when she does something silly.
· Optional parts include a towel to place around her neck, an energy drink and drop-shaped stickers to display her sweating.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

Her alternate expression is this clumsy expression! Just look how adorable it is!!

The towel to place around her neck is sculpted to actually look fluffy as if it were really made from towelling! (●´ω｀●)

△The included accessories are rather simple, but the fact that they
are wearing tracksuit pants allows for all sorts of easy poses!

Shiburin also comes with special arm parts that allow you to pose her with her hands in her pockets!! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Nendoroid Co-de: Cinderella Girls Rin/Uzuki/Mio Set – My First Star

From the popular anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a set of three Nendoroid Co-de figures featuring the New Generation girls!

They are wearing the outfits from the opening theme and last episode of the anime series – the ‘My First Star’ outfits. The matching outfits have each been carefully sculpted to include even the smallest of changes between them, creating a lovely matching set of the three to display together!

The Cinderella Girls are joining the Co-de series!

Currently the series only contains characters from the PriPara series, and many have been wondering if other series would ever be featured in the Co-de series! Here is your answer!! ♡

Nendoroid Mako Mankanshoku: Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform Ver.

From the anime series ‘KILL la KILL’ comes a Nendoroid of Mako Mankanshoku wearing her Fight Club-Spec Two-Star Goku Uniform! Optional parts include a spiked bat and brass knuckles to display her in action scenes worthy of the Fight Club President!

Mako comes with three different expressions including her standard expression as well as two different crying expressions – one based on her tears from episode 7 and the other based on episode 24. Today’s Touken Ranbu Round-Up!

Whenever I had a sports day at school my lunch would always be inari-zushi! Now whenever I eat inari-zushi my body feels all powered up and ready to do anything! Plus they’re delicious!

Anyway, as of today Nendoroid Kogitsunemaru is up for preorder!

My name may mean ‘small fox’, but I’m by no means small.

From the popular browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Kogitsunemaru, the great sword. He has been faithfully sculpted based on the pose he takes when you receive him in the game, with his long, flowing hair carefully detailed to ensure that he can be proud of his beautiful ‘fur’.
His outfit opened out at the chest to reveal his impressive muscles has also been intricately sculpted down to the finest of details, and the his back which was never even visible on the original illustration is also filled with charm for fans to enjoy! Be sure to add the powerful Kogitsunemaru to your collection!

I borrowed him from Akane-Eiseihei so I could grab a few photos of my own…!

I think I’ll do a full review at a later stage, but until then enjoy some of the photos!

My birthday is just one day away from Elichi’s! However I like dried plums…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

figma Eli Ayase! ♡

From the anime series ‘LoveLive!’ comes a figma of the character who keeps things in order in the μ’s group, Eli Ayase!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· Three expressions are included: A gentle smile, a slightly mischievous wink as well as an embarrassed expression!
· Optional parts include her school bag and the very memorable hamburger from the series.
· Just like the previously announced figma Honoka Kosaka, she also comes with two glow sticks of her image color.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

The smart, athletic student council president and μ’s member with an amazing body to boot! Now joining the figma series! She is the second μ’s member to join the series following on from figma Honoka Kosaka! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Max Factory announced all nine members will be joining the series, so the others are also on the way!

Honoka-chan, Elichi… who will be next…?!

By the way, the figma series features each of the characters wearing their Otonokizaka Academy Summer uniforms! This allows you to recreate all sorts of fun scenes from the show as well as create your own everyday scenes! (σ・∀・)σ

Optional parts include her school bag so you can pose her on the way to school! ♥︎

She also comes with a lovely winking expression that suits her so very well! I also really love the way the creases on her outfit look, as well as the fluttering look of her skirt! I can tell a lot of effort has gone into the sculpt of this uniform!

The more intricate details around her hips are amazing!

A white vest may be simple, but nobody can deny that it looks great! Anyway, I showed the school bag above but she also comes with various other optional parts! <○><○>

– Hamburger –

The delicious fast food meal! A hamburger is included!

This allows you to recreate a certain memorable scene from the series that most fans should remember! (σ・∀・)σ

Combined with the included embarrassed expression, it creates a scene where she just noticed you watching her eat! The expression even kind of looks like she is chewing when used in a pose like this! ♡

Other parts are also included to create all sorts of different situations!

– Glow Sticks –

These were also included with Honoka-chan! ★

Each character comes with glow sticks of their own image color, which means that Elichi comes with light blue glow sticks! The glow sticks have a diameter of about 3mm which easily allows other figmas to hold them as well! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

You can give them to some other characters to have them cheer on for a μ’s performance!

Even left and right hand parts in a fox shape are included! What does the fox say?! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Haruna Sairenji

Today’s main feature…!

Without further ado, let’s take a look at an item from Max Factory that went up for preorder today…

The 1/6th Scale…

Haruna Sairenji!♪

From the anime series ‘To Love-Ru Darkness’ comes a 1/6th scale figure of the heroine who has strong feelings for Rito, Haruna Sairenji! Just like the previous figures from the series, she has been sculpted wearing sexy lingerie and a bridal veil that makes use of translucent parts to recreate its see-through appearance. The veil can also be removed for a slightly different appearance.

While the design is rather simple, the detail on her lingerie and the tight feeling of the outfit makes for a very sexy Haruna for fans to enjoy by their side!

Oooooooooooh!! (/ω＼)

The beautiful if somewhat clumsy young lady without much experience or luck in love, Haruna Sairenj has been sculpted in a frilly white set of lingerie! ☆

The soft pale skin, tight-fitting lingerie and lovely veil all make for an absolute treat for the eyes! While she is in a rather simple pose, the amount of detail still makes for a figure you can stare at for ages!

The curves of her calves, thighs and bottom are incredible!!
Not to mention the intricate creases on her outfit around her sides!

Let’s see how she looks from the back!

The veil made from translucent parts looks very soft to the touch – the sculpt and material work together to really make it look like it is made from a light fabric! The sculpt also gives it a dynamic look as if blowing around in the wind, which also gets you a nice little peek at the nape of her neck!

The outfit’s transparent effect is also stunning! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Just look at the outfit from her breasts down to her belly button! You’ll notice that the paintwork creates a lovely semi see-though appearance that is done so very well – you can’t help but start to fantasise a little about what is behind the outfit!

Let’s take a closer look at her bottom!

The ‘tight’ feeling of the panties gives you a good impression of how soft her skin is!

It does make me feel a little naughty for staring and taking pictures of her though… (灬ºωº)b. The intricate work on the frills on her outfit are also amazingly done! Just take a look at the attention to detail! ♡

Another thing that I personally love is the shiny lips! Her mouth is open with a bit of a surprised expression that gives both a cute and sexy feel to the figure!

Plus…! <○><○>

Can you tell what I’m getting at from this photo?!

Just look at the area where the panties were, where Haruna is now holding them up! You can see exactly where the elastic was by the indent in the skin! It’s so strange to touch the figure as I constantly expect it to be soft to the touch…! I had to stop and wonder whether I was actually taking photos of a figure a few times!

Anyway! Did you know this is actually the third in a series of figures from To LOVE-Ru Darkness?

The bridal veil on her head can actually be removed by swapping out from parts! This is how she looks from the back with no veil!

Removing the veil gives a better look at her lovely slender back and lovely hair! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

I love how she looks from this angle…!

The curves from her dainty fingers down to her belly button!! (●´ω｀●)

The pose also makes it look like she is gently brushing her hair with her hand!

But on the other hand… this angle give you this amazing expression!!

I completely forgot that yesterday was Hinamatsuri! I’ll be one day late, but I’ll have some shirozake and hina-arare later today!

Anyway, today I’m going to be looking at an item from Max Factory going on sale later this month !

Just like the Nendoroid, Sinon’s figma is so much fun to move around and play with! ♡

The joints move around so very freely making to so easy to pose her with other items and figures! I quite enjoyed matching her up with rather unusual items! ♪

△ Sinon stops a fight between a Shield Liger and Mr.Penguin.

If you are very careful with balance you can make awesome action poses like this! <○><○>

△ A pistol and effect parts are also included!

I imagine that outdoor photos with Sinon would open up all sorts of fun opportunities! Now that it’s starting to warm up I hope that I can find the time to go on more figure photo outings!

Another thing you have to note about figma Sinon is her outfit!!

△ When you take the time to look, it’s actually a rather sexy outfit!

The two parts on the sides of thighs are made from soft parts making sure you can see the gaps of skin nicely!

Let me try to make some more action poses that show off Sinon as the best sniper in GGO! ☆

△ A joint is added underneath her chest allowing you to twist the body!
This works amazingly well for dynamic poses in mid movement!

As you can see above, she also comes with her favorite sniper rifle, Hecate II! (●´ω｀●)ゞ

The pistol from earlier can be holstered at her hips while she uses the rifle! ♪

△ Even in 1/12th scale, the curves of her hips and bottom are beautiful!

The scarf around her neck can be attached and removed whenever you like, and also comes with joints at the base!

figma Rin Shibuya: CINDERELLA PROJECT ver.

I have completely memorized the lyrics to ‘Onegai! Cinderella’ now! Next I’m moving onto ‘Star!!’! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at Max Factory’s…

figma Rin Shibuya:
CINDERELLA PROJECT ver.!

From the anime series ‘IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls’ comes a figma of Rin Shibuya!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
· She comes with three expressions including an expressionless face, a singing face and an embarrassed face.
· Optional parts include her school bag, a smartphone with earphones attached and her beloved dog, Hanako.
· Special parts that allow you to display her with her hands in her pockets are also included.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

The long-haired ‘cool beauty’ high-school idol Rin Shibuya is joining the figma series! ♡

Everything about the figma captures Rin beautifully! The necklace shown by her loose neck tie, her cardigan mini-skirt with beautiful long legs extending out from it…! Nnot to mention that perfect expression! ♥︎

One of the Winter Wonder Festival 2013 (Winter) exclusive items was figma Shibuya Rin, but the difference with this figma is that she is based on the designs from the IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls anime series, and not the game! There are many subtle difference and brush-ups from the previous version – the entire sculpt has also been redone from the ground up!

Let’s start with a look at her expressions!

“I’m Rin Shibuya, 15 years old. I look forward to working with you.”

That mysterious, mature charm is wonderful!!

The expression is also rather different to the previous version of Rin! But there is much more to Rin then this!

She also comes with a singing expression!! (●´ω｀●)

The gap between this emotional singing face and the previous disinterested expression is amazing!

You can easily switch out to the idol side with a quick change of expressions! Just pick the look you prefer! But that’s not all…. her third expression is another leap of character!

An embarrassed expression!☆

An ever so slight blush with a downcast look! This will allow for all sorts of difference scenes!! While you can obviously enjoy recreating scenes from the show, this also opens up so many options for original situations! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Look who is at her feet!!

Her beloved dog Hanako is included as an optional part!! ☆

The pose differs from the version included with figma Rin Shibuya!! (´□｀｡)

This time around she also comes with a lead, allowing you to pose Hanako and Rin out for walkies!! Other optional parts include her smartphone along with earphones!★

Another thing that you may have noticed from the photos above, is that she comes with arms that allow you to display her with either hand in or out of her pockets! The combination of hands in pockets and the different expressions really allow for so many different situations!! ♡
