Summer isn’t even here yet and I’m already eating at least one ice-cream a day… how many will that become when things start to really heat up?!  *nom* (●´ㅂ`●) *nom*

Anyway, today I’m going to be continuing with taking a look at some of the photos that have been sent in for the May/June edition of Kahotan Post Office!

The theme is: Male Figures!!

As always a big thank you to everyone who sent me photos!

It’s been so nice to see male figures in photos for a change! It also made it incredibly hard for me to pick a photo to use in my header as there were so many options!

But after much thought, I have decided on a photo for my header! 

Those following my Twitter will already know, but from today I’m making use of Neon’s photo for my header!! ★

I love Nendoroids and Monster Hunter. I wanted to show my Lagia X Male Swordsman taking a break after a long hunt. He does not fear resting in a dangerous forest!

The photo brings out the atmosphere of the Monster Hunter universe so perfectly, and with just once image it manages to tell an amazing story! A lovely photo that I will be happy to use as my header!

I’m a big fan of ‘Lonely Gourmet’, and have been taking a lot of photos with figma Goro-san recently. Goro-san normally goes out for lunch, but today it looks like he has prepared a little food for himself! (*・∀・*)

Goro-san goes shopping, takes  a break in the park and then heads home to do some cooking and gobble down some food! This one needed both photos be be added to complete the story! Little food accessories like this really make photos with Goro-san all the more enjoyable! ♡

I wasn’t able to go out myself for photos so I decided to use a digital background image for my photo. Araragi-kun is holding ‘Kokorowatari’ with an origami hat as  koi flags flap in the background to celebrate Children’s Day!

It’s the season of wisterias! Definitely a flower that works well with male characters in my opinion! It was taken just before Golden Week at Lake Hamana’s Garden Park. It’s a huge garden with free entrance!

I managed to catch a cold during my Golden Week and didn’t have the best holiday… the temperature changes are so unpredictable at the moment! Everyone take care not to get sick!!

I transformed Aniki into a Koinobori, quite enjoying the “Boy’s Day” celebrations (May 5th).

I just realized that I haven’t eaten a single sakuramochi this year! It’s almost the end of April! I have to eat at least one before April comes to an end!

As always my inbox was filled with delights to the eyes, all overflowing with love for both Spring and GSC products! It’s still rather chilly for Spring, but these photos warm up my heart so quickly! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

It was a huge task to select just one photo to use as my Twitter header, but my final decision was Anon-san’s photo! Just look at how cute it is! ♡

A photo of Millihi running through the sakura blossoms in full bloom! The pink color of her outfit matches with the cherry blossoms so well it’s almost like camouflage!

The gentle Princess of the Biscotti Republic, Millhiore F. Biscotti, together with the gentle blossoms blooming around her! What a lovely scene!

Anyway, as I said it was a very difficult choice, so let’s take a look at some of the other contenders!

The blossoms by the river finally reached full bloom, so I took a photo that I’ve been wanting to grab for ages!

Sakura Miku’s little sister arrived, so I decided to take a photo of the two of them together! Most people pick cherry blossoms when it comes to Spring, but I also think that phlox blossoms are beautiful!

I recreated the scene from episode 1 of Strike Witches 2! Yoshika flying though the cherry blossoms was such a memorable scene! I can’t wait for more Strike Witches!!

The first one is from Shinjuku Gyoen which I visited during my trip to Japan 2 years ago. I took Miku out during the last days of blooming; it was a rather windy day, and you can really see how sad she is that the beautiful flowers are already falling down!

The other set is from Moscow. Here in Russia, spring is mainly about blooming apple trees; most of those are pure white, not pink, but a lot of people still go out to enjoy the first warm and sunny days despite “hanami” not being an officially recognized holiday (and taking place more than a month later)!

I’m finally coming to the end of a very long string of cavity repairs at the dentist! It has taken a lot longer than I expected it to…

But anyway! Even though we’re now a good way into April, some chilly days from Winter are sometimes still cropping up! I think it’s time to make sure we’re well into Winter my taking a look at some more Spring Photos that have been sent in to me!!

As always, a huge thanks to everyone who sent in photos!! 

I know I asked for more photos of Spring in the previous Post Office post, but I never expected the number of photos that came through! I got more in a few days than ever before!! Unfortunately there are far too many for me to place them all on the blog, but I’ll be introducing some of my favourites over the course of two blogs!

I am from Indonesia and sadly we do not have 4 seasons like Japan has and its hard for me to replicate the cherry blossom trees.

I wanted to show Amatsukaze the cherry blossoms, so I took her out with me to the park! There was quite a strong wind on the day, so I was rather worried she was going to be blown off the tree, but I was happy with the result!

Hi! My name is Aye Thiri Thaw, from Myanmar. In Myanmar, Thingyan Festival is known as Water Festival for welcoming Myanmar New Year. Padauk is the theme Flower of Thingyan Festival. It blooms only once a year in April. In Japan, Sakura flower blooms only once a year so does Padauk. Sakura Kinomoto Nendoroid is the first Nendoroid that I collected in my life. Two years ago I wanted to take photos but I missed the full bloom season, and a strong wind has also battered most of the fallen blossoms as well – I still managed to find a nice blossom or two, and decided I had to take a photo of them together with my freshly delivered Sakura Mikus! They seemed to be very happy with the blossoms! I’m currently away in Vietnam for work, but I’m looking forward to returning to enjoying a beautiful Spring in Japan again some time soon!

I’ve spent a lot of time playing with Sakura Miku-chan, and have all sorts of memories together with her. While I was walking around my neighbourhood I found some small flowers so I decided to bring them back as a present for her! They might have been small, but when a Nendoroid holds them they look rather large – which was so very cute!

When I was working on an important university paper, I took a look at the garden  every morning when I woke up and saw these two types of flowers outside, croci and snowdrops. Both are proof that spring has come here in Germany and I felt like I received strength from them to go on with writing every day. Sinon is standing amidst them, embarrassed because she is unsure if such a colorful flower suits her. But I think they do!

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

The two movies I always make sure to rewatch in the Summer are Summer Wars and Juvenile! They condense that Summer feeling so nicely for me!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at some of the mails that found their way into my inbox! Apologies for the wait – I know I opened the Kahotan Post Office quite a long time ago…!

Today marks the first Kahotan Post Office blog! (｀・ω・´)
 

– Product Requests –

This was without a doubt the most common form of mail! Not only requests for GSC products, but also figma products and more. There were actually a load of items that were requested before WonFes that actually ended up being displayed at WonFes!

For Example!

· Nendoroid Noiz (DRAMAtical Murder)
· figma Sakura Kinomoto (Card Captor Sakura)

Plus there were a number of other products that were requested which are already in the pipeline! (； -ﾉｪ-)

Unfortunately many things prevent me from saying too much more at the moment, but a lot of you have some figures to look forward to! All the ideas that were sent through to us have been added to the list of product requests and will definitely be considered in the future! Thanks to everyone for their mail, and I’m looking forward to more soon!

To commemorate the return, I decided to send a picture of my Shimakaze-chan! I’m really enjoying the KanColle product rush at the moment!

Yoshino suits the rainy season nicely! It gave me a good reason to take her outside for some photos!

Sometimes I even just search Twitter for Nendoroid photos from others as I just love looking at all the lovely photos that fans take!

I also received an interesting idea from someone in my mail box! They asked why I don’t do theme-related photos instead and show them all at once – I thought it was a lovely idea!

With that said, I want to start the very first themed photo collection, with the theme of ‘Autumn’! Show me what Autumn means to you and your figures with a beautiful Nendoroid or scale figure photo, and I will pick the one that I like best, and…
