Sweet seventeen has always been a kind of magical age to me! A second year high-school student… I wonder what I was doing back at that age…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Uzuki Shimamura!

From the popular anime series ‘THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS’ comes a Nendoroid of Uzuki Shimamura wearing her school uniform! She comes with three different expression parts including a cute standard expression, a cheerful smiling expression and a flustered expression for some more comical scenes.

Optional parts include her school bag and a flower for her to hold, allowing for various different scenes from the series to be recreated in Nendoroid size. Be sure to display her together with the previously announced Nendoroid Rin Shibuya and upcoming Nendoroid Mio Honda to display all the New Generation girls together!

The idol from 346 Production’s New Generations who is known for her trademark smile is joining the Nendoroids! She is the second New Generations character to join the Nendoroids, following on from the previously announced Nendoroid Rin Shibuya!

Nendoroid Mio Honda is also currently in development!!

Anyway, let’s get back to Uzuki! This is how she looks from the back!

Her characteristic hair style with one side of her long hair tied up looks great in miniaturized Nendoroid size! This pose also features parts that have her hands held behind her back!

She is posed wearing her cute school uniform with a lovely chequered skirt, as well as her school bag as an optional part to match! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

△ The large ribbon on her collar is also very cute! ☆

This allows you to pose her on the way to school, or on the way to the 346 Production offices from school!

The hair tied up on the side is also fitted with a Nendoroid joint allowing for more dynamic poses like this one!

I like my omelettes fluffy! Just thinking of omelettes makes me really hungry though! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Yamato! ♡ 

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the battleship Yamato with all her ship parts included, creating a rather large figure for a Nendoroid! The 46cm turret batteries on her back feature a special connection allowing them to aim forward, and each of the gun turrets are individually articulated for all sorts of options.

The ship parts can also be opened out through the use of a Nendoroid joint! She also comes with a ramune drink and omelette rice as optional parts, as well as explosion parts to display her being attacked! Anti-aircraft guns are also included and can be attached to recreate her ‘Kai’ appearance!

Oooooooooohhhh!! (´□｀｡)

The long-awaited Nendoroid of the super-dreadnought developed in secret by the Kure Naval Arsenal as a trump card – Yamato! The largest Kanmusu to join the Nendoroids so far!! Even in the KanColle universe Yamato is seen as a sort of flagship for the series! ★

Her hair is tied high up but flows all the way down, gently blowing in the wind! The tight-fitting outfit has also been shrunk into Nendoroid size perfectly, with even the one sock longer showing off just one of her lovely long legs! Everything about her is so cute and fun to look at!

The ship parts are amazing, but by no means does that mean that Yamato herself isn’t! She’s beautiful!! ♥︎

Let’s see how she looks from the back! (o*・з・)o

The ship parts are so big you can hardly see Yamato herself!

You can at the very least still see her cute ponytail twisting around ever so slightly! Her radar umbrella is also faithfully included with a translucent plastic!

The huge ship parts remind you that she is a destroyer, but she also has these more gentle  parts to show she has a more gentle side to her personality too!

Each of the flowers in her hair have also been sculpted one-by-one and the hair accessory that becomes a part of the radar has also been very intricately made! There are really just too many things to look at on this figure… I don’t really know where to start! o(ﾟдﾟo≡oﾟдﾟ)o

Let’s take a closer look at her ship parts! ★ 

The left and right sides of the ship parts are connected to the center piece with Nendoroid joints, so they can be moved around in all sorts of different ways!

Plus each gun turret can be moved individually, and the batteries can each be twisted around as well! The amount of moving parts is quite impressive!

I’m sure everyone will have a load of fun playing around with it when they get their hands on her! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

I’m sure most eyes jumped right to her chest first… but what I want to point out is what is holding in her hands! Armor-Piercing Rounds! (σ・∀・)σ

I was also taking a close-up shot so that I could create a shot where the included fired AP rounds compare in size!! φ(．． )

Various different sizes are included and each includes its own little stand!

But there are still many more parts to recreate battle scenes!! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ！

Various effect parts for her turrets make for an amazing firing scene!! ☆ 

She really is huge for a Nendoroid!!

All seven of the turret batteries come with shooting effect parts! (´□｀｡)

Making use of all the effect parts makes for perhaps the most noticeable Nendoroid of all time! (Except perhaps Mikudayo…)

Plus the 46cm back cannon can be deployed to fire forward!

The battery itself can also be rotated around, meaning that Yamato can aim her cannon pretty much anywhere! So much firepower… but there is still more!!

Now with upgraded anti-air weaponry!”

Nendoroid Yamato even comes with anti-aircraft turrets for her left and right sides as well as an anti-aircraft machine gun for her left and right cannons as optional parts! These of course allow you to change her into Yamato Kai!

Plus she also comes with sitting lower body parts too!!

By the way! The very important details of the outfit have been faithfully included too! Take a look at the little opening in her skirt and you’ll notice a black sting and anchor!

As you can see here, the ship parts can also be completely detached allowing for a more standard Nendoroid size! She also comes with this alternate smiling expression which makes her look so very bright and happy!


Yamato Kai looking so very cheerful!! (●´ω｀●)

Oh yes! I jumped to the sitting parts too quickly! Note that she also comes with a left leg that include the ‘Hirihoukenten‘ kanji on her sock for the Kai version!

As I mentioned before though… people tend to focus on the ship parts a lot, but the Nendoroid itself is also amazing! Just look at the details on her outfit and hair!!(*ﾟｰﾟ*)

Her third expression is this lovely face!!

“H-Ha! That wasn’t even close to a direct hit!” 

Aaaah!!! So cute!!! (/ω＼)

She has that cute look of an animal that has been surprised by something that suddenly moved! ♡ Torpedo strike effect parts are also included, making battle scenes look even more awesome!

And if you look from above…

Here you can get a good look at both the Kai Anti-air Machine Guns as well as the ‘Taking Damage‘ parts! 

There are so many optional parts!
I’ve lost track of how many I’ve introduced now…. but we’re still not done!!

“Admiral, would you like a drink?”

Yamato’s ‘time calls’ in game include this line where she offers the admiral some Ramune to drink, so a bottle of Ramune is also included!! It’s make with a bit of shiny translucent material which really makes it look like there is some liquid inside!! (*´Д｀)

But we’re sill not done!!

She also comes with Omelette Rice!! ♥︎

Complete with a nice dash of demi-glace sauce and some green peas!

Such a lovely meal!♪ As expected of a hotel!

“I-I’m not a hotel…!”

 

The half-damage expression has a bit of an embarrassed look to it which works in various different situations! So cute!!

But that brings us to the end of her parts! ★

Let’s take another look from another angle!

Along with everything above she also comes with the alternate expressions as well as various different arm and leg parts and sitting parts!! I get the feeling the packaging is going to be rather… large!

For those of you are thinking that we went a little overboard with this one… you’re right. I agree with you 100%! However!

She is the first of the Yamato-class battleships!
We had to make sure she lived up to that name!♡

Nendoroid Racing Miku: 2015 Ver.

I ate way too much popcorn and am now regretting it. It would seem that too much caramel popcorn, while delicious, is not good for one’s stomach…

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Racing Miku: 2015 Ver.!

The official character of the Hatsune Miku GT Project ‘Racing Miku’ is back again in Nendoroid form, this time in her 2015 ver. outfit! The Nendoroid is based on the illustration by Taiki, a design which gives Racing Miku a knightly appearance, ready to charge into first place! Optional parts include a race queen’s parasol, as well as a Nendoroid-sized car that Miku can actually ride inside!

Ooooooohhhh! (●´ω｀●)

The Racing Knight Princess is joining the Nendoroid series! The GSR Team managed to take the place of champions in last year’s SUPER GT, and this Miku shows they are confident they can take it again! Her outfit has a knightly appearance to it, but also has some cute frills to show off her feminine side too! ♪


△ Her back shows off lots of skin too!

Her twin-tails are painted with a blue to yellow gradient, and as they move into the yellow area the plastic also becomes more and more translucent for a lovely effect! As you’d expect, the twin-tails also include Nendoroid joints allowing you to match them with your poses with ease! (σ・∀・)σ

You can also recreate this pose! ♡

Nendoroid Racing Miku comes with her so-called ‘Offensive Parasol‘ and ‘Defensive Keyboard‘!

Her knightly race queen items!! (`・ω・´) 

This is of course the pose from one of the main visuals, and I can just image her shouting “We’re aiming for the top once more!” whenever I see this pose!

Another thing I want to point out, is that this year’s Racing Miku comes with fully articulated arms! ★

This allows you to pose her holding all sorts of things at various angles, and also helps with creating awesome poses! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

For example… 

She can even be posed with a large flag like this! ♥︎

The flag design is adorned with a coat of arms to further the knight-like appearance with crowns, a horse and of course the Good Smile Mark! She comes with two expressions – one looking confidently straight ahead and a second smile with a more sideward gaze! (●´ω｀●)

Plus as I’m sure you noticed in the first photo…

A Nendoroid Car is also included! ♪

She also comes with a shift body that lets you pose her driving the car! ♪


△ The driving body is only the upper body.

Of course you can then make use of the articulation in the twin-tails to really give the electronic racing diva some speed!

△ The articulated arms also mean she can easily hold the steering wheel!

The first race in this year’s SUPER GT has ended with the team placing 5th! Not a bad start, but the next face at Fuji Speedway on the 2nd-3rd May will be the next step! There are still 7 races to go to get into the lead!! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Today’s blog begins with a rather sexy first image!
A sexy body that belongs to none other than…

Awoken Hera-Ur!

From the popular puzzle RPG ‘Puzzle & Dragons’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of Awoken Hera-Ur! The figure sits on a stand featuring the Puzzle & Dragons emblem, with her beautiful blue body as well as the powerful flaming effects around her all faithfully sculpted into figure form.

Various parts of the figure make use of translucent parts and golden paint for a very high-class appearance that suits Hera-Ur’s demeanor. The huge wings and long flowing hair also give the figure an impressive size that differentiates her from other figures of the same scale!

From the popular game ‘Puzzles & Dragons’, better known as ‘Pazudora’ comes a scale figure of the monster ‘Awoken Hera-Ur‘!

She’s so… big!!!

So very, very big!!

This is how she looks from the back! ♪

Look at her long, full hair and it’s lovely curls! Plus those wings!

The red color scheme of both the hair and wings also matches with the orange-red effects that are dancing around her to create a really impressive scene! Also note the details that have gone into the accessories such as the purple crown on her head or the bracelets on her arms! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Plus perhaps the most important thing is the charming blue skin and stunning flame effects! The shadows that from the light of the flame have also been painted into the figure, giving her a even more sensual body!

If we take a closer look at the back from another angle, you’ll notice…

You get a nice look at the nape of her neck! ♡

It’s hidden behind her hair if you look from another angle, but the ability to look from any angle you please is what makes figures so very special!

The illustration is a little taller than the illustration from the game, and in a slightly different pose… but that mysterious and cunning expression on her face has been kept perfectly! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

It’s a relatively simple standing pose, but that’s exactly what makes the detail on her outfit and the effects surrounding her stand out so nicely! ♪

The figure as a whole catches the eye very quickly, but when you sit down and take a nice close look you notice just how intricate the details on her design are! ☆

She really is quite the work of art!

The various different textures from her soft skin, smooth wings, hard horns and almost reptilian tail are all so amazing!

Isn’t it amazing that the textures can look so different just through sculpt and paintwork, even though they’re all made of the same material! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Looking from this side angle at her belly button also gives you a nice feel for the ever so slight bump of her stomach! However my personally recommended angle is a low angle! Have her looking down upon you!

A stunning look up at her sexy body with all her accessories in view! The light shining off the translucent parts adds an even more fiery effect to the figure as well! Also note the cute fang sticking out her mouth!! There is so much to enjoy from down at this angle! ♡

Plus the stand features the ‘Puzzle & Dragons’ logo!

Also a simple design, but the golden paintwork gives it a lovely shine! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

Ryuko Matoi: Senketsu Kisaragi Ver.

Today’s main feature…!

Just a quick warning that there might be some spoilers to KILL la KILL in this blog! You might want to avoid reading if you haven’t finished the series!

Anyway, without further ado today’s blog will be taking a look at…

Ryuko Matoi: Senketsu Kisaragi Ver.!★

From the anime series ‘KILL la KILL’ comes a scale figure of Ryuko Matoi wearing Senketsu in her final form after absorbing the strength of all the Goku Uniforms to become ‘Senketsu Kisaragi’! The pose comes from episode 24 of the anime series, ‘Past the Infinite Darkness’, where Ryuko fought against Ragyo Kiryuin in outer space.

The pose and design captures Ryuko’s feminine beauty, but also shows off her strong will and determination though her powerful gaze. The base will made in the image of outer space to help bring out the atmosphere of the final battle, and the figure itself can be enjoyed from any angle you choose to view her from. Be sure to add her to your collection!

Waaaaaaaaaaa!!!! (´□｀｡)

A 1/8th scale of Ryuko-chan wearing Senketsu in their final form!!! She is posed holding a scissor blade in each hand, confident for battle!

The long awaited figure that captures Ryuko at her strongest point in the final climax scene is the series is finally here! Who would ever have expected to see Ryuko become this at the end of the epic story!! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

I still listen to the theme songs all the time! The first and second opening and ending were all amazing!!

Anyway, let’s get back to the figure!

Senketsu really looks like a weapon of great power, but still shows off loads of soft looking skin!

The contrast between the texture of Ryuko’s skin and Senketsu is lovely!

The figure has been brushed-up multiple times since it’s prototype stages, and although it’s a relatively simple standing (floating?) pose, the vigour and power of Ryuko comes though very effectively through the sculpt and paintwork! 

Let’s see how she looks from the back! ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

The translucent effect parts are amazing! ♥ 

I think most people who see her from behind will have their eyes pulled to her lovely bottom at first, but there are many, many things to enjoy even from the back! Just look at the effect parts emanating from her hips or the gradient paintwork and enamel appearance of her thigh-high boots. (●´ω｀●)ゞ

This is the only coloured prototype of this figure that exists at the moment, and I had to be so careful when putting her together! In particular the thin effect parts… I was rather nervous taking photos of her! (/ω＼)

As a side note, the final product that will be reaching everyone will be nowhere near as delicate as the prototype, so don’t worry about that! (It also might just be that I’m just really clumsy….)

Her fiery hair also makes use of translucent parts!

What an exquisite gradient effect!! ☆

You can feel her burning spirit with ease through the sculpt and paintwork! The translucent parts also are really a treat for the eyes! ♪

Another thing I want to point out here is how the collar is fluttering!

Even with a pose that isn’t technically moving, the sculpt includes dynamic elements that definitely make it feel alive! I took all my photos in a rather light environment, but I’m sure that making use of all the translucence in a dark room with various lighting effects would make for some amazing photos! ♪

The red to black gradient of her boots and the shading of her knees… not to mention the curves around her thighs and bottom that you can see from this angle. Everything is so delicious! *nom* (๑´ㅂ`๑) *nom*

But there is still so many more amazing points!

The ribcage, belly button, thighs and even underboob…! 

The powerful, vigorous feeling of the figure is one thing, but even with that there were definitely no corners cut when it comes to creating an absolutely beautiful body!

I just want to run my eyes and fingers along those beautiful curves all day! (*´Д｀)=з

It’s certainly a figure that faithfully captures both Ryuko’s beautiful body together with her spirit from the final episode of the series!

Nendoroid Ryujo

My favorite of favorite foods might just be takoyaki! Best when they are soft and fluffy! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Ryujo!

From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the light aircraft carrier, Ryujo! She comes complete with both a standard aeroplane and ‘shikigami’ paper planes to fly beside her.

The divination scroll in the image of a flight deck as well as a pouch to hang from her shoulder are both included. Her favorite food, takoyaki, are also included for her to enjoy! ♪ Alternate parts to recreate her half-damaged appearance are also included!

Oooooooooohhh!! (/ω＼)

From the popular browser game Kantai Collection comes a Nendoroid of the light cruiser, Ryujo!

Everything about her design down to the scroll in the image of a flick deck have been faithfully converted into chibi Nendoroid size! The outfit is a nice blend between Japanese and Western styles!

This is how she looks from the back! ♡

The mini AA-guns around her hips look so detailed!! (σ・∀・)σ

She is wearing thick-soled shoes giving her a longer appearance… not that her petite build isn’t adorable! It makes me want to pet her on the head as she is so cute!! The twin-tails are fitted with Nendoroid joints allowing you to easily match them up with any poses! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Anyway, as I’m sure many have noticed, the first photo featured an aeroplane!

(・∀・) “Ryujo comes with quite a few types of aeroplanes!”

We’re joined by the planner for Nendoroid Ryujo, Kyojin!

(・∀・) “We wanted to allow fans to recreate the effect of Ryujo ‘summoning’ the planes from paper planes, so we included various points of the transformation!”

 

“Aircraft! Head out, head out!!”

The divining fire summons the aircraft !!  

(・∀・) “Four plane parts are included – a paper plane, mid-transformed plane, Mitsubishi A5M and Nakajima B5N!”

It’s really like they are slowing changing as they move along! ♪

(・∀・) “Each plane also comes with it’s own little stand, allowing for quick and easy placement wherever you like!”

Anyway, up until now we’ve had a rather serious Ryujo in combat mode… what other expressions does she have?

(・∀・) “First up we have this smiling expression!”

Ooooooooohhhh!! (´□｀｡)

Definitely a much more gentle expression compared to the previous one!

But wait! The scroll!! I know this pose!

(・∀・) “You can easily place the scroll in the position of Ryujo Kai Ni as both a long and short version are included!”

The long version reaches about 13.5cm in length including the bottom section!

But hold on a second… the previous pose had the scroll kind of bend around… is it made from a soft material, or…? （？△？）

(・∀・) “The top and bottom sections are made from a hard material to allow the stand to connect easily, but the actual ‘scroll’ part is planned to be made from a durable kind of paper meaning it won’t get in the way of any poses!”

I see, I see! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

That means that you can create all sorts of bendy poses with the scroll as well! By the way, the shorter scroll will be completely made from the harder material. The soft paper is only used on the longer version!

(・∀・) “Other parts that work well with the smile… are these!”

S-She comes with these?!

(・∀・) “Yep! It was a tough choice deciding on what fun parts to give her, but we eventually decided on the takoyaki, the same as was found on the GAMERS special poster of Ryujo” 

The see-though packaging and even the stick to eat them with! Such wonderful detail! ♡

(・∀・) “Another thing that was on this poster was the pouch for holding her scroll! It’s also included!”

Ooooooooh! (*´Д｀)=з

The strap part is even made from actual fabric for unobstructed posing! Yay!

(・∀・) “These parts allow for more everyday life scenes – a rather different feel to the combat look!”

△ I want to go on a date and eat takoyaki while walking beside her!

Finally! What is her third expression?

(・∀・) “A Half-damaged expression!!!” 

Just look at those downward facing eyebrows!! She looks so defeated!! 

(・∀・) “This time we decided it was time to include a half-damaged body once again! The skirt is all ripped up and jewel from her neck is hanging down… not to mention her shirt being ripped open showing her stomach!” 

I personally love that her little belly button is showing! ♡

Even the reverse side has a damaged look to it!

Even the torn right shoulder has been faithfully added to the  damaged body!

(・∀・) “It was quite a tough Nendoroid to work on, but I think we packed her fill with Ryujo love! I’m sure fans will enjoy adding her to their collections!”

Nendoroid Rin Shibuya

I can’t believe that it’s been seven years since I last wore a school uniform. Time really flies! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Rin Shibuya!

From the popular anime series ‘IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls’ comes a Nendoroid of Rin Shibuya wearing her school uniform! She comes with three expressions including a slightly distant standard expression, a cute embarrassed expression as well as a bright smiling expression.

Other optional parts include her school bag as well as a smartphone with earphones attached, allowing you to faithfully display her as the modern high-school student she is. The other ‘New Generation’ members, Uzuki Shimamura and Mio Honda, are also planned to be joining the Nendoroid series soon!

One of 346 Production’s ‘New Generation’ members, Rin Shiubya is joining the Nendoroid series! ♡

She has been sculpted wearing the outfit she is best known for, her school uniform! The impertinent look of her expression and pose is perfect for the ‘modern day’ high school student!

If you look close you’ll notice even her earrings are faithfully included!

Her school bag is included as an optional part, so you can easily pose her in on-the-way to school poses! ♪

By the way, she also comes with alternate hand parts for both left and right hands to display her with hands in her pockets!

This definitely lets you experience the gap between Rin’s cool and calm side and this more flustered side! The arm up by her hair makes her seem to be trying so hard to hide her embarrassment! I’m sure there are many producers out there that can’t hold back their emotions when they see Shiburin like this! ♪

The fact that she is always trying to be so composed makes her flustered appearance all the more appealing! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

Anyway, let’s check the third expression!!

No wait! First let me show these optional parts!

Along with her school bag, she also comes with a smartphone with earphones attached! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Nendoroid Laura Bodewig

There was once a time where I wanted to become a crêpe chef! I would be so happy to be able to eat crêpes every single day! Though I’m also fairly certain I am way too clumsy to ever actually be able to cook something so thin and delicate!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Laura Bodewig!

From the popular anime series ‘IS -Infinite Stratos-‘ comes the fourth Nendoroid from the series, Laura Bodewig! She comes with three expressions including her standard face, a shouting expression for combat scenes as well as a more ladylike embarrassed expression. Her eye patch is made as a separate part that can be attached and removed from any of the expressions!

Optional parts include weapons such as a combat knife and pistol allowing for combat scenes suited to her militaristic personality. She also comes with a blueberry crepe as well as a ‘IS’ activated left arm part! Special parts to recreate the running pose in the ending theme are also included. Be sure to display her with the previously released Nendoroids of Houki Shinonono, Cecilia Alcott and Lingyin Huang!

Hyahoooooooooo!!! ヽ(・ω・。)

The IS Representative Candidate of Germany and commander of the German IS special forces, ‘Schwarzer Hase’ is joining the Nendoroids! ♪

The sharp eyes and serious mouth show her off to be the serious soldier she is… but that doesn’t mean she isn’t still adorable! ♡♡

By the way, this is actually the fourth Nendoroid from the Infinite Stratos series! The previous character are as follows!

I’m sure we can expect a fifth one as well…!

I’ll touch a bit more on that subject a little later! For now let’s get back to Laura! Her rather distinguishing trousers have been faithfully shrunk into Nendoroid size!

Her long silver hair has also been very faithfully reproduced in Nendoroid form!

She comes with not only a pistol, but also a combat knife, allowing for all sorts of combat scenes that show just how powerful a soldier she can be! (●´ω｀●)ゞ

△ She looks so dauntless… yet cute at the same time!

However! You can also enjoy a more ladylike Laura with this expression! ♥︎

An adorable embarrassed expression!! (/ω＼)

She also comes with a blueberry crêpe to hold in her hand as above! Which means you can recreate that amazing scene in Nendoroid size!! I want to display her together with Charl!

Another thing you probably noticed is that the eye patch can also be removed!! This means you can display her with her gold colored left eye showing instead!! (  ´□｀｡)

(The eye patch parts are planned to connect into her hair parts!)

Combine the serious expression with her ‘Odin’s Eye’ showing to have her ready for combat!

The expression is the same as the one at the start of the blog, but without the eye patch it definitely has a very different feeling about it!

She also comes with an ‘IS Arm’ allowing you to display her with the plasma blade coming off her arm! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ 

△ The wrist also has a ball joint for creating different nuances!

“I-I will make you my bride!

With the combination of the embarrassed expression together with the eye-patch, you can recreate this famous scene from the show! (Well her outfit isn’t quite right… but close enough!)

She also comes with crossed arms to show her strong attitude! ♡

I might still not have Mikazuki Munechika in game, but I get to take a look at his Nendoroid which will definitely keep me busy for now!

So without any more delays, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Mikazuki Munechika

“My name is Mikazuki Munechika.
One of the five great swords of Japan”

From the popular PC browser game ‘Touken Ranbu -ONLINE-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the most beautiful of the Five Great Swords, Mikazuki Munechika! He comes with three expressions including a standard face with a charming smile, an expression for combat as well as a nonchalant expression made in the image of his ‘ojiichan’ nickname!

His sword is included and can be displayed both sheathed and drawn, and the scabbard faithfully shows off the phases of the moon! Other optional parts include a traditional Japanese teacup for more relaxed scenes, as well as an ‘uchiko’ which is needed to keep your swordsmen ready for battle! Be sure to add him to your collection!

An apology to all the saniwa out there who have been waiting for the Nendoroid to come up for preorder! One of the Five Great Swords of Japan as well as the one known to be the most beautiful… Nendoroid Mikazuki Munechika is finally here! The spirit of the sword made at the end of the 11th century in the Heian Period has joined the Nendoroids!

This is also one of the fastest a Nendoroid has ever started development! Nendoroid Mikazuki started being sculpted just one month after the game had started (´□｀｡)

Let’s see how he looks from the back! ♥

You never get to see him from the back in game, which means the figure adds a whole new side of Mikazuki to enjoy!! ♪

His soft and silky looking hair is definitely one of my highlights!Another thing to note is the scabbard that shows the phases of the moon along it! Isn’t it beautiful! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Also take a look at how the outfit was shrunk down into Nendoroid size – even in this small size the elegant outfit very reminiscent of the nobles in the Heian period has been carefully sculpted down to the smaller little ornaments!

It’s an outfit with an incredible amount of information and detail placed into it – as one would expect for the ‘most beautiful’ of the Five Great Swords, Mikazuki Munechika! The overall balance of the figure is also such a pleasure to look at!

The ever so slight creases along the outfit are also amazing! They add even more to the distinct atmosphere of the classic Japanese clothes!

Note of course his eyes which are actually crescent moons, as well as the slight gradient applied to the tips of his hair!

All of Mikazuki’s intricate little charms have been so carefully added to the Nendoroid! As most of you know all Nendoroids stand about 10cm in height, but there is something about the air around Mikazuki that makes him seem to stand out so much more clearly and confidently! I hope that fans will be willing to add him into their collections! <○><○>

Anyway, let’s move on and see what other optional parts are included with him! Firstly along with the standard expression above, he also comes with this relaxed and content expression! This expression is included to display his more carefree side that suits his nickname ‘ojiichan’ or ‘grandpa’!

A nonchalant expression!! ♡

Just looking at him makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!!

I wish I could sit out on a balcony and sip tea with him while looking out at the cherry blossoms!! 

The first expression shows him off as the elegant and beautiful sword he his, but this one shows a different side of him! He also comes with another extra part that suits this expression very well!

“Ah… I love being taken good care of!”

He comes with an ‘uchiko’!

These were used in the past to keep swords in good condition, and can be used to keep the Nendoroid happy as well!

△ With careful balance he can even hold it himself…!

Just as a side note, the uchiko is not actually soft, it’s made from the same material as the figure itself… so be sure to only touch it to him softly! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

Now that We’ve seen the gentle side of him… let’s move onto the next expression…

An expression that shows off his gallant side!

Ooooooooooohh!! (/ω＼)

It’s perfect! I can’t get enough of how amazing he looks!!

This confident and valiant looking combat expression is also included!

△ The combat pose from the game can also be recreated! 

Once again the change of expression brings across a whole different side of his personality! Don’t you feel an enormous pressure behind this combat pose?! I certainly do! (°Д°；≡°Д°；)

As you can see, his sword can also be displayed unsheathed using the included alternate parts! ♪

I’ve been trying to keep my excitement down as much as possible for this review but it’s so hard!!

The reason for that is I want to have lots to talk about during tomorrow’s like broadcast!

The long awaited start of the Touken Ranbu Nendoroids!

Recently I seem to be eating nothing but fried chicken bentos for lunch! Meat… I want more meat!! Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at some products that went up for preorder the other day!

Nendoroid Rin & wooser: Light Ver.


“It’s been awhile! Rin here!” “I’m back once again.”
From the anime series ‘wooser’s hand-to-mouth life: phantasmagoric arc’ comes a Nendoroid of Rin with wooser in a simple but more affordable set! Rin comes with a smile that show off her easygoing personality, as well as a glaring face for when she gets tired of listening to wooser’s chatter. wooser himself is also of course included to pose with her!

I really love the soft warm colors of the series! ♡

Rin-chan’s innocent cuteness has been captured in Nendoroid beautifully! wooser also looks great, and even comes with his own little stand! Rin comes with both straight arms as well as an alternate arm for posing her waving her hand like above! She also comes with the arm and hand part for the joint pose shown at the beginning of the article!

Even the hood of the wooser hoodie is faithfully sculpted!

△ The candy-like colors make we think they would taste very sweet!

“Hey! I’m back as a figure again!” “I expected no less.”

From the anime series ‘wooser’s hand-to-mouth life: phantasmagoric arc’ comes a Nendoroid of Ren with Darth wooser in a simple but more affordable set! Ren comes with both a winking expression and a smiling expression, both of which capture her lively personality!

Miniskirt x knee-high socks x tube top x open hoodie! ♡

The playful winking expression also matches her sexy outfit very nicely! She comes with straight arms as well as an arm part to pose her ‘shooting’ with her hand like above! The part for the combined pose is also included, and she comes with arm and hand parts to place at her hands at her hips!

The Darth wooser hoodie also looks fantastic! ♪


△ The short shirt also means a little peek at the bare skin of her legs!

Right! Let’s have a little bit of fun with these two!! (●´ω｀●)

A bit of a sad ending to show the upset Rin-chan expression as she heads home alone! This expression can be used for so many different things – it works just as well for angry poses as it does for sulking or even judging poses! I hope you’ll come up with even more ideas if you decide to pick her up! (/ω＼)
