Saber Alter: Kimono Ver.

Takashi Takeuchi’s illustration of Saber Alter in a kimono is now a scale figure!

From the anime movie series “Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel” comes a 1/7th scale figure of Saber Alter! Takashi Takeuchi’s illustration of Saber Alter in a gorgeous kimono originally made for Newtype magazine has been faithfully recreated by sculptor Nobuta (REVOLVE).

Everything from her delicate expression to the bare skin peeking between the gaps of her elegant kimono has been carefully preserved in figure form. Her hair decorations, kanzashi and obi belt have all been captured with particular attention-to-detail. Be sure to add her to your collection!

Her obi belt features a gorgeous gold pattern.

▲You can see the pattern of the kimono has been faithfully recreated on all sides of the figure!

From “Character Vocal Series 01: Hatsune Miku” comes a Nendoroid Doll of Hatsune Miku! Nendoroid Dolls feature the same Nendoroid heads, but an alternate doll-like body that is highly articulated and can easily be dressed-up into different outfits while still remaining a palm-sized action figure! Miku’s twintails have been sculpted to be even more voluminous in Nendoroid Doll form! Be sure to add Hatsune Miku in her faithfully recreated outfit to your collection!

What is the Nendoroid Doll series?

① Heads are Nendoroid size
② Outfits are made from fabric and slightly larger than Nendoroids
③ The elbows, knees and hips feature smooth articulation
④ Head and hand parts can be swapped with current Nendoroids
*Note that certain head and hand parts may not be compatible!

The series is basically an alternate doll-type of Nendoroid that keeps the chibi design of the Nendoroid, but allows for customised outfits on a slightly larger body! ヾ(o´∀｀o)ﾉ

The neck joint is the same as standard Nendoroids, which means you can quick and easily swap the entire head part!!

MODEROID Series Survey Results

(Today’s blog comes from Hiro Tanaka (@gsc_hiro), planning supervisor of the MODEROID series!)

From February 18th to March 11th, we conducted the second MODEROID series survey to ask you, the fans, about what kind of robots you want to see join the MODEROID series!

Not only is the MODEROID series popular in Japan, but there are many fans internationally!

In fact, more than half of all MODEROID shipments have gone to places outside of Japan!

Without further ado, let’s see what topped the list for the MODEROID survey for voters outside of Japan!

6 robots in the top 10 are from the Brave series!!

Within Japan, several companies have their own lines of plastic models from the Brave series, so perhaps a lot of Japanese voters voted for different robots on purpose, but that wasn’t the case in these results!

If anything, it shows that no matter where you are in the world, the Brave series is certainly popular!

I can’t say for sure that we’ll be able to throw our hat in the ring when it comes to Brave series plastic models, but I’ll do what I can to support the fans!

There were several votes for Gurren Lagann (as it appeared in the anime series) as well. If you voted for Gurren Lagann, Be sure to check out SENTINEL’s recently announced PLAIOBOT Gurren Lagann plastic model!

One of the members of the production team worked with us on MODEROID Mazinkaiser, so you can be sure it will be high-quality!

There are a lot of combining mecha in this list, but for me the most surprising was…

Yes, the guest mecha El Dora V from Gun x Sword managed to top the series’ main mecha Dann of Thursday in the top 30!

…wait wait wait, there’s no way!!

I double-checked and triple-checked the numbers! It really is that popular!

There were a lot of people voting for it along with Brave series mechas, actually!

(By the way, El Dora Soul is counted separately, but if you add in those votes, it goes up even more.)

(I checked the Japanese results and El Dora V is sitting right at 100.)

With the help of all of our amigos across the world, maybe we’ll be able to give some lesser known robots a chance at a plastic model kit!?

Madoka’s gentle expression and dynamic pose have been brought to life by sculptor Hiroshi (Sakurazensen) in extraordinary detail. Be sure to add her to your collection!

Madoka Kaname has been recreated in an adorable outfit with rabbit ears in incredible 1/4th scale! She’s a staggering 410mm in height!

Nendoroid Eripiyo (If My Favorite Pop Idol Made it to the Budokan, I Would Die)

Today I’ll be taking a look at..

Nendoroid Eripiyo

From the popular anime series “If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die” comes a Nendoroid of Eripiyo, top fan of the idol group ChamJam’s Maina Ichii! She comes with a serious standard expression for gazing intently at Maina, a smiling expression as though trembling with happiness while watching Maina and an expression with closed eyes, overflowing with love for Maina.

Eripiyo comes with a towel and penlights, essentials for any idol fan. Hiromi Sangyo’s Milight 316 Series LED (sold separately) can be attached to the included large penlights in order to display them lit up. Additionally, an arm sling, bandage parts and crutches are included—perfect for the injury-prone Eripiyo. Be sure to add her to your collection!

From “If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die” comes a Nendoroid of Eripiyo, the one and only fan of ChamJam’s Maina Ichii!

Her tracksuit and towel featuring Maina’s name have been perfectly recreated in Nendoroid form.

Optional parts include her salmon pink penlights for cheering on Maina as well as an arm sling and bandage parts for injury-prone Eripiyo.

Looking at Eripiyo’s serious face as she cheers on Maina with all she has… it’s an awesome sight to see, even in Nendoroid form!

In addition to her standard expression, a smiling expression as though trembling with happiness from thinking about Maina is included!
