Nendoroid Rei Ayanami: EVANGELION RACING Ver.

Recently the mornings have been rather chilly and keep waking me up! I think it’s time to move onto a nice thick duvet instead of blankets!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Rei Ayanami:
EVANGELION RACING Ver. ♡


From ‘EVANGELION RACING’ comes a Nendoroid of Rei Ayanami: EVANGELION RACING Ver.! Rei is posed wearing the cute and sexy race queen outfit made to look similar to her plug suit from the series!

Optional parts include both an open and closed parasol needed for any race queen. She comes with two expressions including her standard composed expression and a smiling expression.

Oooooohhh!!! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

From the popular series seen on the race track and various other hobby related events ‘EVANGELION RACING’ comes A Nendoroid of Rei dressed up as a race queen!

The outfit based on a similar design to her plug suit is so very cute!!

Not only does it preserve the feeling of EVANGELION perfectly, it also is a rather bold design for a race queen!

This is how she looks from the back!

Her light blue hair also has a lovely gradient to it, which gives off a very translucent feeling. The shiny look of the outfit has also been faithfully preserved!

The smaller details and accessories have all been carefully added too! ♡

In fact, the design has been so faithfully preserved that even as a Nendoroid there is a peculiar sexiness to her! (*´￢`*)ｼﾞ

Next up let’s take a look at her expressions!

First up is her standard expression! Clear and calculating!

The straight look in her eyes gives off both a confident side as well as a rather cold side… but it’s that cold side that makes her unexpected smiles all the more special, so we did of course include a lovely smiling expression as well! ♡

Ooooooooooohh!! (´□｀｡)

The gentle smile has captured my heart and refuses to let go!!

It’s amazing how much a few changes to the mouth and eyes can alter your impression of a character! (/ω＼)

I-I want to protect this smile forever!  <○><○>

She also comes with bent arms and legs for a variety of poses! Two different versions of her parasol are also included!

Not to mention that if you look at the parasol from the top…

You will find the EVA Racing logo, NERV logo and more!! (σ・∀・)σ

Plus the whole umbrella is shaded to look like an AT field!

These little details really do make me so happy inside! The optional parts really bring out her role as a race queen! ♥︎

Nendoroid I-401

\ No…! I’m hit…! /

/ But it’s not enough to take me down yet! \

Today I’m going to be taking a look at:

Nendoroid I-401! ♪


From the popular browser game ‘Kantai Collection -KanColle-‘ comes a Nendoroid of the Toku Class Submarine I-401! Ready for departure!

Optional parts include Aichi M6A Seiran attack planes as well as her torpedoes to display battle scenes! The hangar tubes at her sides can be opened and closed, and a half-damage body is also included! Some splashing water effect parts are also included to display her jumping around in the water – as she really enjoys a quick splash in the bath!

Ooooooooh!!! (´∀｀)

Delicious tanned skin and a school swimsuit!

With a no-sleeve sailor outfit over the top too!

The energetic submarine, Shioi-chan! ♥︎

Following on from Nendoroid Akagi, Kaga, Kitakami and Ooi comes the 5th Nendoroid based on illustrations by Shibafu! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

Just like all the previous Nendoroids, the illustration looks wonderful in chibi Nendoroid size! Just look how cute she is!

Let’s take a look from the back! ♪

The submarine parts carried on her shoulder have also been carefully sculpted!

The lovely orange collar of her sailor outfit too! (*´Д｀)=з

Optional parts include Aichi M6A Seiran attack planes!

They even of course include the floats needed for submarine-borne aircraft! Not to mention that you can even pose them preparing for launch on the hangar tubes, like on the right side of Shioi-chan here! (σ・∀・)σ

The hatch to the hangar tube can also be opened and closed!

You can really see the attention to detail on the design! ☆

She comes with both the lovely smiling expression above, as well as a chibi expression perfect for firing off her torpedoes a little carelessly! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The innocent smile on her face is so cute!! ♥︎

Even though she has a more mature look to her when compared to the other submarines, it doesn’t mean that her personality can’t still be a little playful!

The included firing parts for her torpedoes are included for some action scenes!

Taking a closer look at her sailor outfit, you’ll realize it’s actually tied together at the sides… showing off a little bit more of her swimsuit!

Also take a close look at the string holding her submarine parts!

(・∀・) “Yep! The string is actually made from leather!”

We’re joined by the figure’s planner, Kyojin!

(・∀・) “By using a soft material, you really have complete control as to how high you want to pose it!”

It’ll definitely will come in handy with poses! ♪

(・∀・) “Shioi has very unique parts among the submarines, so I was really looking forward to making her into a Nendoroid! There are a lot of fun ways to enjoy her!”

By the way, does she come with any other effect parts? The KanMusu Nendoroids normally come with so many effects!

(・∀・) “Shioi also comes with these effect parts!”

Quite a different kind of effect parts compared to others!

I can see it being useful for poses with various other characters too! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)

(・∀・) “There is also something that stands out quite a lot with her legs!”

Her legs?!

The joint and leg colors are… different?!

(・∀・) “Yep! It shows just how tanned she is!”

This is the love of a true Admiral…! (´□｀｡)

(・∀・) “The tanned body is also nicely visible on the half-damage body!”

Oooh! I almost forgot about the half-damage body! Let’s take a look!

Ooooooohhhh!! ヽ(*´∀｀*)ﾉ.+ﾟ

I started the blog off with a similar shot, but the combination of that sideways glare and the school swimsuit gets me every time! You can also see her name ‘I-401’ written on the swimsuit name tag!

The way the shoulder strap is flopped over also looks delicious!

(・∀・) “Take a look from the back too!”

(・∀・) “This side of Shioi was never visible in the illustration making it our original interpretation… but take a look at the skin visible through the bigger hole!“

… it’s not tanned! (((゜д゜;)))

(・∀・) “We were told by Shibafu that Shioi’s upper body is fully tanned, but the lower parts are still pale! We made sure to keep that true with the Nendoroid!”

Excellent work, Admiral Kyojin!!

As you can see, you can also completely remove her submarine parts, but that does mean there is a hole in her back for the Nendoroid stand! (｀・ω・´)ゞ

(・∀・)” There are still many more KanMusu in the works! Perhaps a scale figure of the 2nd of the Yamato-class battleships too?”

Lots of little details and fun parts! The cute submarine…

Nendoroid I-401!!

Chris Yukine: Bunny style

The other day I went out to buy a costume for the upcoming Halloween Live Broadcast! Although the broadcast will be a bit before Halloween on the 23rd October!

Today I’ll be taking a look at a figure announced by AQUAMARINE last week!

Chris Yukine: Bunny style!


From the anime series that has claimed fans all over the world, ‘Senki Zesshou Symphogear’ comes a 1/8th scale PVC figure of Chris Yukine! The figure features Chris dressed up in a bunny outfit, based on an illustration by the character designer and animation director of the series, Satoru Fujimoto! The illustration was used on the cover for the ‘Staff Book’ sold at the Satelight Booth at Comic Market 85.

The original illustration only featured the upper front half of Chris, so Satoru specially drew the remaining areas in order for the full design to be transformed into a figure by sculptor Abira. Each and every change was also supervised by Satoru himself to ensure a faithful rendition of the original! Everything from her curvy bottom, bountiful bosom and long slender legs have been beautifully sculpted for fans to enjoy! Even the slight frown on her face has been faithfully preserved!

Oooooohhh!! (ﾉ*´Д｀)ﾉ

As if Chris-chan wasn’t already cute enough, she is now coming to us as a 1/7th scale figure in a sexy bunny girl outfit! ♪

Just look at the way her hips are twisted… or that embarrassed look on her face! Not to mention the shiny pink outfit and sexy stockings creating a very sexy appearance!

The figure is based on an illustration by the character designer and animation director of the series, Satoru Fujimoto, and sculpted beautifully into the 3D world by Abira (Purazuma Houriki Mokei)! The figure is released by AQUAMARINE!

Which means of course that as of this month, AQUAMARINE’s products are bring distributed by GOOD SMILE COMPANY!

So let’s get right back onto the figure!

This is how she looks from the back! ♡

From the back you get a good look at her long and curly hair which also features a lovely purple gradient! The hair is also sculpted to match the flow of her twisting hips, adding to the dynamic feeling of the pose! ♪

The stockings are also painted so nicely!
You can tell how soft the skin underneath them is!

The sacred relic ‘Ichii-Bal’ is also included! (in a very comfortable place!)

Her bountiful bosom is definitely where one’s eyes tend to jump, but there are many more highlights when you take a look! Just look at the detail on the ribbon around her neck, the bottle in her hands… or even the delicate fingers holding that bottle! <○><○>

Even from this angle her chest is the most noticeable!

I really need to try and get off of these boobies now! Let me start by taking a look another area that I personally love…

That hip-bone sticking out at the sides!

You don’t often see Chris-chan is an outfit that shows her hip-line so nicely! ♪

Being able to see bare skin that isn’t normally visible is always such a treat! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The bare skin isn’t the only thing though – the detail on her shiny pink outfit is also lovely! Just look at those arm and leg bands… and that fully bunny tail that I really wish was really fluffy! I want to touch it! ♥︎

The frills on her arm and leg bands are very intricately sculpted!!

All this combined with that pouting expression and glamorous outfit!

It’s all so enchanting!!

Chris-chan is known more for her victorious smiles…

The body may be full of highlights, but her face is also superbly done! ♡

Full Action Model Chamber

Today I’m going to be taking a look at:

The 1/50th Scale:
Full Action Model Chamber!

The very first in Good Smile Company’s new mecha figure series ‘Good Smile Arms’ is an action figure of Chamber from the popular anime series Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet! The figure is 1/50th scale, standing an impressive 19cm in height.

The various weapons from the series are included, as well as effect parts to display him hovering in the air in flying mode. He is also a fully articulated action figure allowing for nearly any pose you can imagine!

Apologies for the long wait!! (´□｀｡)

From ‘Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet’ comes a figure of the mecha controlled by the main character of the series, Ledo! He is finally ready to go up for preorders! Even the pilot support system cockpit will be fully included in the design!

The reason he took rather long to come out for preorders is that we have been working on a new series, of which Chamber is the first! The series meant that some extra preparations needed to be done! (｀・ω・´)

What is GOOD SMILE ARMS (GSA)?

GOOD SMILE ARMS is a new articulated figure series from Good Smile Company based on the theme of ‘mecha’, with a focus on preserving the intricate, sharp designs of mecha and other robotic designs while still allowing great freedom of posing though careful articulation.

All the painting skills GSC has acquired though years of working on figures will also be put to use in the series, allowing for colors and textures that suit the detailed sculpting, and bring out the unique presence of mecha designs. The series will also be a larger scale compared to most articulated mecha figures, and will feature robots from not only anime, but also from various games and other media. We hope you’ll look forward to the upcoming line-up!

Good Smile has never been very involved in the mechanical side of figures, but all that is about to change!

We’re taking a big step into the world of mecha figures!

There are a few others planned in the line-up! Look forward to them!

But anyway, let’s get into actually taking a look at Chamber!

This is how he looks from the back!


Whilst Chamber is a 1/50th scale figure, he still stand an impressive 19cm in height!

Here is a comparison shot with my iPhone5 which should give you an idea for the size! (He is actually posed leaning over a bit here, so he is not at his tallest point!)

Chamber has an amazing presence, you can’t deny it when you hold him for yourself! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Chamber has a very streamlined, rounded design which is very different to most mecha – even so, the design has been very faithfully converted into figure form!
The ‘Full Action’ name isn’t just for show either! Chamber features…

Over 20 points of articulation

Ball joints in arms and legs!

The combination of joints works together so well, allowing for easy, effective posing!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

The shoulders also feature a little pull out gimmick!

The articulation around his shoulders is particularly impressive, which is great for posing him in action scenes with weapons!  φ(．． )

… I can just hear his voice playing through my head!

Chamber looks a lot more imposing when equipped with his weapons!  (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*) Plus, as some of you may have already considered…

The beam rifle means that you can pose him from this rather famous scene! o(；△；)o!!

It was at this point that Chamber proved that he was the hero of the series!

Plus Chamber’s head part can even be opened and closed like so!


The upper part can even be completely removed, which means you really can completely recreate his appearance from the final episode of the TV series!


I don’t want to spoil too much for those who haven’t seen the series…
But this scene was just amazing! AMAZING!!

But moving on, there is one part that I haven’t touched on yet! The Pinion Halberd! (*´Д｀)=з


Chamber’s weapon designed for attacking large areas is also included!

Ledo and Chamber fought together with this weapon…!
 It played an important role in the series…! (； ・`д・´）

Plus, Plus!
Although it’s not on the painted prototype just yet…
The area inside the cockpit is also going to be included! (/ω＼)

The 3D data is currently being made, but just look at the amount of detail!!
The figure will be fun to play with for sure, but just looking at it will be a treat too!

Even the bonus sounds amazing!! Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a figure scheduled to go up for preorder later this week from FREEing…

figma The Thinker!


‘The Table Museum’ is a series of figma figures based on famous works of art that almost anyone will recognize! The first in the series is the classic sculpture by Auguste Rodin – The Thinker!

The Thinker was originally a centrepiece of a sculptural group work called ‘The Gates of Hell’, but now the silent, pondering sculpture can be found in textbooks around the world. The figma version is of course articulated, so while you can pose the classic ‘Thinker’ pose, you can also place him in a variety of different poses to bring out a completely different charm to the work of art!

· Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out the classic Thinker pose, or various other action poses
.· A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
· A special stand, chest and head part are included to recreate the classic pose, but various other head and hand parts are also included.
· An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.

“Let’s make classic art more fun!”

Is what was going through FREEing’s playful mind when this series came to life! It will definitely provide some very interesting variety to the figma series! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

He looks so full of grief from the back!

The bronze paintwork and uneven look of the original sculpture are all faithfully preserved!

I really love the way the colors have been done! ♡

It really looks like a sculpture that has slowly been degrading over time! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

The stand features a special little area for his feet to ensure he stays securely in place even in the classic Thinker pose!

The “Thinking” pose is made using a special part!

The rounded back and clenched fist placed at his mouth are part of a special upper body part!This part combined with his feet placed into the base allows for a quick and easy posing of the classic ‘Thinker’ pose! ♡

Obviously he also comes with a standard straight body!

Which means you can enjoy him just like any other figma as well! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ
In fact…

You can place him in all sorts of interesting poses!

This morning the cold caused me to wake up earlier than normal… but I quickly grabbed all my blanket which had been pushed aside, snuggled up and fell back asleep! It was so comfy and warm!!

Today I’m going to be taking a look at a product that went up for order today:

The 1/8th Scale:
Sakura Saber!


From the Holy Grail War that featured in ‘Koha-Ace EX’ comes a 1/8th scale figure of the mysterious yet beautiful Knight-class servant – Sakura Saber!

The hakama she is wearing has been faithfully sculpted in great detail, and makes use of a beautiful gradient of pinks and reds, showing just why she is known as Sakura Saber. She holds her beloved sword drawn as if posed slicing through the air – a dynamic pose that fans are sure to enjoy by their side!

Oooooooohhh!! (*´Д｀)

The original servant from Koha-Ace, Sakura Saber! ♡

An all new Saber from Takashi Takeuchi following on from the white, blacks and reds from the past! This version has a lovely Japanese feeling to her, as she swings her sword ‘Kojiki Kiyomitsu’ with a bright smile on her face!

The combination of Japanese clothing and Western boots makes a lovely outfit! ♪

Definitely a style that suits my personal tastes! The way that outfit is sculpted really makes it look like real fabric! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Not only do the creases in her outfit look lovely, but the gradient along her outfit has also been preserved beautifully!

Her left hip also has a lovely little cherry blossom print! It’s very cute! ♪

A view from the back gives a better feeling for how her sleeves are fluttering about! (‘-‘*)(,_,*)(‘-‘*)(,_,*)

The lower area of the Hakama is also taken up by the wind, showing off her lovely legs!!

The reverse side of her knees look so good! It’s nice to see a little bit of bare skin even on an outfit that doesn’t show much! (´∀｀*)

Anyway, moving on from her legs… next up are her hands! <○><○>

Everything is so very detailed! Just look at the wrapping of the sword’s handle… and her fingertips!

The figure actually has a very realistic feeling to it! ♪
Another thing I have to point out is her adorable smile! ♡

A sweet and gentle figure of beauty!

Sakura Saber’s character is portrayed with the figure beautifully! I find it hard to imagine such a graceful character would ever need to fight in real battles!  (´□｀｡)

While the pose is a fairly simple standing pose, there are a number of highlights that really make her stand out! She is one of those figures that is such a pleasure to look at from almost any angle! ♥︎

This Autumn, the ‘Happy Kuji: Hatsune Miku 2014 Autumn Ver.’, a raffle that gives you a change to grab exclusive Hatsune Miku character goods will be run at FamilyMart, TSUTAYA and animate stores across Japan. The ‘A’ prize is a special Autumn-themed version of Hatsune Miku: Lat-type Ver.!

Hatsune Miku: Lat-type Ver. back in an Autumn themed outfit!

I never thought I’d be lucky enough to cross paths with another beautiful Lat-san glasses Miku! The argyle pattern and orange hems of her knee-high socks really bring out the Autumn theme!  °・(ノД｀)・°・

The fresh design was decided on with both Lat-san and the head planner, Hamako! It also has a more matte finish which adds an autumn texture as well! ♡

Even the stand has been altered for the new design!
The Autumn leaves have fallen to the ground beneath her! ♪

No matter where you look, you can see exactly why this is an ideal product for the Autumn Kuji!

Even her hair and accessories have had their colors adjusted!

Her hair is a lighter mint green instead of the normal turquoise green! It also uses semi-transparent parts giving the whole figure a lighter appearance! (｡･ω･)ﾉﾞ

The wallet chain and skirt have also been recoloured and repatterned! ★

The color scheme is also very fitting for the Halloween months as well! It has a very fresh feeling to it! Her glasses have also switched to an orange frame, and just like before they can of course be removed whenever you like!

They’re rather delicate and small parts, so the box includes a spare pair as well!

Just like the original Hatsune Miku: Lat-type Ver. she also comes with two different microphones to choose from! ♪

This super round form is so adorable!!

CHANxCO’s designs have once again been transformed into adorable products, this time as the C and B prizes! ♪
Even the underside of Miku has a neck tie while Luka has a little motif!

By the way, Luka’s little tail also moves about!

They’re not only cute, but also useful!

The ears can be used to hold up memos!

I  can see myself using them to leave messages like “Going home at X o’clock” or “Headed out to lunch”! (･ω･)b

Nendoroid Erica Fontaine & Koubu-F2

The typhoon has passed leaving a beautiful blue sky… the trains are still running behind schedule, but at least I get to wait in nicer weather!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at…

Nendoroid Erica Fontaine & Koubu-F2!


From the popular game ‘Sakura Wars 3’ comes a Nendoroid of the cheerful nun in the Flower Division of Groupe Fleur de Paris, Erica Fontaine! She comes complete with a Nendoroid-sized version of her Koubu suit, the Koubu-F2!

Optional parts include both her cross-shaped machine gun for combat poses and maracas to display her famous ‘Good Morning’ dance scene! The Koubu-F2 has an openable hatch and Erica can even be posed riding inside – an alternate body part is even included to display her in her combat uniform! She also comes with a shouting expression, creating a powerful and confident appearance as she rides into battle!

Ooooooohhh!! ε=(｡・д・｡)

Erica is joining the Nendoroids dressed in her beautiful red habit, with her long chestnut hair flowing around her!

Her hair and outfit also look amazing from the back!

Her single braid at the back is fitted with a joint to swing to the left and right, allowing you to alter the angle to match your poses! (ﾉ｀・∀・)ﾉ

In her hands she holds her faithful sub-machine gun, Raphael! ♫

Every part down to the gun barrel has had careful detail put into it!

She also comes with special hand parts to display her holding it in this pose! There are still lots more optional parts to come though! *(*´∀｀*)

She even includes the maracas for her ‘Good Morning’ dance! ♥︎

＼Good Morning Oogami-san, Hey~! ♪／

Definitely one of the more cute and memorable scenes of Erica… but she also comes with an expression to show her more serious side! (｀・ω・´)

Her Shouting Expression! ♡

With this expression on her face, you can almost forget just how clumsy she is! She looks so much more serious!

If you combine this expression with the maracas…

It doesn’t look like a very fun dance any more!

But the best part to combine this expression with is of course the biggest optional part… the Koubu-F2! ★

Ooohh!! It looks so awesome!! (´□｀｡)

The Koubu-F2 based on designs left behind by Kohran Li from the Teikoku Kagekidan, and put together and improved by the Chattes Noires mechanic team! Now in cute Nendoroid size!

But even in Nendoroid size, all its charms have been preserved!

For instance… if you take a look at his left shoulder you’ll see the cross design painted on! I really love it when Nendoroids comes with huge optional parts like this – it’s like a whole extra figure to play with! ( ・ﾉｪ・)

The Gatling Arm ‘Gabriel‘ looks rather imposing too!

Even the ammunition and little details over the gun have been included! (･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ

The top hatch can also be opened up for her to ride inside!

Not only that, but she also comes with an alternate body part to display her in her combat armor!! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Minicchu: Love Live

Hello everyone, Kahotan here! (@gsc_kahotan)

My eyes are getting itchy due to my pollen allergies… I use eye drops all the time which makes it constantly look like I’ve been crying…!

Anyway, today I’m going to be taking a look at a product recently announced by Phat! Company:

Minicchu: Love Live!

From the popular anime series Love Love! comes a second set of idols based on the adorable illustrations of Kengou Yakumo, here to join the chibi Minicchu series of figures from Phat! Company.

The set features all nine members including Honoka Kousaka, Umi Sonoda, Kotori Minami, Eli Ayase, Nico Yazawa, Nozomi Tojo, Maki Nishikino, Rin Hoshizora and Hanayo Koizumi all dressed up in their stage outfits from μ’s 5th single ‘Wonderful Rush’. Be sure to collect them all!

They’re all so cute!! (*´Д｀)=з

Each of the nine members of μ’s are dressed up in adorable outfits that make them look a bit like cute cabin attendants! ♪

I can just picture the PV of them dancing in these outfits playing through my head! As usual, the adorable illustrations by Kengou Yagumo have been transformed into figures perfectly! ♥︎

Each of the character’s outfit designs differ, and each of those changes has of course been faithfully kept on the figures! The details on their accessories and hats! (｀・ω・´)

The sculpting of each of their hair is also fantastic!

Even though they are so small, the feeling of movement in the way their hair is sculpted gives them a very dynamic feeling. It really brings across the lively feeling of μ’s! ヽ(*・ω・)人(・ω・*)ノ

Even from the back they are filled with life! ♪

It is always a challenge on deciding how far to take the detail when making figures this small! Obviously they can’t be too detailed based on the size, but at the same time you don’t want them to be too simple – figures need a bit of detail to give them that special something!  (´□｀｡)

It must have been hard to get such a cute balance with these Minicchus!

The series really preserves the chibi appearance while still giving such a nice level of detail to the characters! Definitely a set of figures that fans will be happy with!

You can display them separated by school year like above, or instead just display them all together!

I decided to have Kotori-chan in the center! ♪
